Trendy Cool Bar

By MrsB |

We stopped here for a glass of wine and some tapas - waiter was very attentive and made a cocktail for my nieces birthday - which wasnt on the menu which was a nice touch. Great atmosphere and nice to stop for a light bite. Would recommend.

Nice surprise, good place for Tapas

By Tymetraveller |

In NY for the weekend, we wanted a lighter meal, so decided on Tapas, and Bazar turned out to be the right choice. It was an early dinner for us, as we had a busy night ahead in NY. The layout of the restaurant is narrow & long, with a bar area on the right towards the back. We decided to eat in the back area vs the front tables by the door, frankly, both options I think would be good. Good design, and nice atmosphere. The tapas was very good, had the Fig & Frico salad, meatballs, chicken seekers and roasted wild mushrooms, all were very good. The mushrooms and fig salad, were the best in our opinion. We finished up with the Fourmage for dessert with a nice glass of wine. Service was good and prompt, overall, a nice place, will be back on the next visit to NYC.

Casual tapas from a neighborhood gem

By Penboy7 |

My husband enjoys trying new places for special occasions, which is a gamble based on crowd-sourced reviews. I have learned what to pay attention to in reviews (interesting food choices and good service) and what to pay less attention to (Michelin stars, white table cloths). Bazar Tapas seem to hit that balance. This narrow restaurant seems like a neighborhood gem which was packed for Valentine’s Day. We ordered a series of tapas, with the grilled octopus and the Brussels sprouts as standouts. Our server, who resembled Rhianna and was very sweet, was helpful and kindly made amends for our last course (lamp chops) that was very delayed. We will definitely be back to try the bone marrow and scallops, which we did not have room for to eat tonight.

Happy hour a must

Excellent service and wonderful happy hour. Fresh seafood was excellent with great flavours. The staff was friendly and just what a solo traveller needed.

Tapas the Octopus

By Allen P |

We all love tapas, so we gave Bazar a try. The menu was a bit limited compared to other tapas places, but everything was very good. It felt like the servers were not fully trained, and the prices were very high for the food provided. One small piece of octopus was $19!

Cosy, good value for money, friendly staff and favorable food

By Andy Bruce |

Stopped by for an appetizer and glass of wine before a later dinner and had the Gambas Al Ajillo and a glass of Albarino. The shrimp was as good as I have had anywhere and comparable with my other favorite tapas bar in NYC - Boqueria.

Lovely tapas place!

By katsmith305 |

Went with friends for tapas and Prosecco. Started with mushroom croquets...amazing! Shared steak bites...tender and delicious, sautéed mushrooms (good, but not as good as croquets), and fried potatoes (so good we got two orders). For our entree we shared paella, so good with not just shrimp, scallops, sausage, but also octopus, fish chunks and squid. Can’t wait to go again. I would have said five stars, but the waitress was not very enthusiastic.

Cold beer and Tapas - what's not to like!

By William A |

Visited this place 4 times in a week. So that tells you how much I liked it. To be fair, mostly went during the Happy Hour and once for a meal. Nice to sit outside and watch the world go by with a nice cold beer. Sat inside and had a selection of Tapas to share between four of us. At first it seemed expensive but it was really, really tasty and glad that I tried it.

Great place to eat tapas in NYC

By ML |

This restaurant is a very cool place to go out for dinner and drinks with friends!!! Great tapas, great services, good wines! I will recommend this restaurant!! They accept credit card but every place in NYC accepts credit cards!

Brunch Paella

By foodlovergirlny |

We love tapas, so we decided to check it out for brunch. It was still early Sunday morning, so the inside was not that busy. They had a live music going on, which was nice. The restaurant got busier as the time went on. We decided to start off our brunch with a cocktail. We ordered Tiki Punch and Genie in a Bottle. They were both really good, strong and flavorful. We ordered two tapas to share, plus a main dish. The first tapas of choice was Char-Grilled Octopus. It came piping hot, and a good large size, enough to share between the two of us. The second dish was Wild Mushroom Croquettes with Truffle aioli. They were very crispy and crunchy on the outside, and very moist and creamy in the inside. Excellent! The main dish had to be a paella! We were thinking of the traditional paella, with seafood, but then, my curiosity went for the Brunch Paella. I thought, why not get something we can only get during the brunch hours??? So, that is what we did. Brunch Paella is made with Shrimp, chorizo, scallions, sunny side up eggs in saffron & lobster broth. doesn’t that sound just amazing? The paella was HUGE! It was packed with generous amount of ingredients. Plump chorizo and shrimp, and shocking six eggs!!! It sure would be enough among four or more people. Every bite was delicious and delightful. We had a really nice brunch here. We really liked every dish we ordered, and drinks too. Service was kind and courteous. We would definitely go back again for more delicious tapas!

perfect place to spending time :-))

Good experience

Sisters' night. Very nice decor, "affordable" prices for a tapas-cocktails bar and friendly and smiling staff! Ultra fast service for a Friday night 8.30pm

Cool Little Spot

By Kate V. |

Loved this spot for our girl's weekend! Great mixed drinks and delicious food! Service was a little bit slower than we would have liked but otherwise I would definitely recommend Bazar to any Tapa-style restaurant lover!

Tapas!

By 4alexnyc |

A delicious little Tapas place worth visiting in the Flatiron district for Tapas. Fun vibe and delicious, albeit a little expensive wines. Our favorites were the Burrata Pomodorini, Gambas Al Ajillo and Grilled slab bacon.

Loved the atmosphere

By Lea |

The atmosphere was amazing, excellent service. Staff is supernice and friendly. Drinks and food were delicious. Would recommend!!

Moderately good

By Lackerfollow |

We stopped here after drinks at Oscar Wilde's bar, and found the food and service acceptable. The salads were good, but the tapas we ordered were not unusual or exceptional in any way. The drink I ordered came incorrectly with tonic, instead of soda, and tasted watered down. I would not advise against this restaurant, but don't plan on returning either.

Great atmosphere, delicious Mediterranean tapas

By HBDIVE |

We had a relaxing family dinner for 7 at this tapas restaurant. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, creative drinks and delicious food and desserts. Appetizers to share, charcuterie, small plates and full entrees makes this an easy choice when the crowd has varied tastes and diet preferences. For cocktails try the smoked manhattan, slo gin or Singapore Sling. The grilled octopus, gambas al ajillo, escargot or Amish chicken were all delicious and the oysters were well priced. The Bailey’s Creme brulee was a huge hit.

Tapas with entree options

By Alan304 |

The staff is attentive. The tapas options were good. The Short Ribs we’re delicious. The Forbidden Sour cocktail was tasty. The cost of a meal can be high.

A hidden gem!

By Ekland S |

We visited Bazar for a casual dinner among colleagues and must admit that we got more than we bargained for. The place is very elegant and cozy. Loved the tile work behind the bar which I think gives Bazar that touch of modern Art Deco. The menu is international and Is pleasing to your palate. We opted to share a variety of appetizers which gave us all a chance to savor these tantalizing creative dishes. I strongly recommend the truffle hummus, jumbo crab cake, grilled octopus, cavatelli pasta with oxtail ragu! Oh don’t forget a glass of nebbiolo! ;) Definitely will be back!

Loved this restaurant, what a gem!

By MariaMeru |

We were visiting from Miami and Googled "Spanish food restaurants" and got lucky to find this restaurant on Dec. 31st. We were a party of four, we each ordered a different dish and several appetizers. Everything was delicious, the paella was, hands down one of the best we've ever had. The short ribs, the branzino and the porkchops were all amazing, the presentation and all the flavors were exceptional! The grilled octopus was so tender and tasty, the patatas bravas and the croquettes were equally delicious. Jack, the manager stopped by all the table and was very attentive and friendly, he even invited us to return later for their New Years Eve celebration. So happy we found this restaurant, I highly recommend. We will be back next time we're in NYC!

Total ripoff.

By James K |

This place ripped me off so badly, I plan never to set foot there again. Avoid it at all costs. Here's what happened. I bought a pair of silver and gold vouchers for their New Year's Eve party. The vouchers were supposed to cover top shelf open bar for 4 hours, as well as access to a food buffet. The "top shelf open bar" did not include the bar's top shelf liquor. The buffet consisted of scraps leftover from the dinner seating earlier in the day. The food was frankly gross. As if this weren't bad enough, when I got up to leave, they hit me with a surprise bill for an additional $207 ON TOP of the $256 I had already paid for the vouchers. The server said the additional charge was for taxes and tips. I fail to see how tax and tip could nearly DOUBLE the original price of the vouchers. Nothing on the restaurant's website or in any of their advertisements mentioned anything about any additional charges. I tried to argue with the server about this ridiculous hidden charge, but he just said, "I don't make the rules." Outrageous. In sum, this place charged me a princely fee for a "top shelf open bar" that turned out not to include top shelf drinks. They charged me for a buffet consisting largely of leftover food scraps. And then they nearly doubled my bill by tacking on a bunch of surprise hidden charges. Avoid this place at all costs.

Great pre event dinner

By Griswalds11 |

Great pre event dinner We ate here before going to Madison square gardens as it’s an easy walk there. Food was excellent. We shared a selection of dishes including burrata, fig and frisco salad, chicken maple skewers and salmon tartare. Highly recommended for a tapas meal.

Half price wine bottles on Monday nights!

By AlwaysUpForGoodFood |

The food and service was excellent. We sat at a table near the door. The waitress, AlenaV helped us with our picks. We were 3, wanted a variety, and everything was delicious although some were true standouts. Wild mushroom croque had a wonderful flavor, served very hot, and not dry. The truffle hummus best I’ve had. Tuna tartare sat on a nice sauce. Shishito peppers perfect. All the meats grilled and seasoned nicely. But the standout was the octopus; nice size, flavor, presentation, and cooked just right. We saved $70 because we had a second bottle of wine. Too full for dessert. Our bill was $223 but you could definitely eat here inexpensively and get a high quality meal.

Great vibe, service & food

By RekhaK |

I was here on New Years Eve for dinner and had a very nice time. It was fun, lively and the music playing in the background added a festive vibe. The dinner menu was excellent. I really liked the Burrata Pomodorini & wild mushroom croquettes. I would definitely go back!

Loved the food and atmosphere

By stentdoc |

The tapas were great. The octopus was my favorite. The lamb chops were juicy. The desserts were a bit too sweet for my liking

Best Tapas in New York

By Aurea V |

The waiter, chef and owner were all extremely accommodating, even though we arrived late. Our food allergies were addressed and the food was perfectly prepared and beautifully plated. Absolutely Amazing flavours!!!

Excellent Tapas & Service

By TennesseeGypsee |

We tried to go to Boqueria because we had enjoyed it before but no reservations were available so we tried Bazar. So glad we did! Charming, perfectly timed service, cozy atmosphere and fantastic food & sangria! We particularly enjoyed the fresh burrata appetizer, followed by excellent steak bites with chimichurri, the most tender octopus, lamb chops and haloumi veggie cakes for the vegetarian. To top it off the red sangria was perfectly refreshing and fruity. Would return there before we go to Boqueria again.

Good Cuisine - Spanish Type Atmosphere

By JuanMarco31 |

Quite a trendy restaurant in this area, not within everyone's reach given the prices, especially for the wines, that said the dishes offered are very good and we find ourselves a bit in the vocal bazaar of certain Spanish establishments. A lot of people we were, I think, lucky to find a table without booking. Correct service but very fast.

Good oysters and drinks at the bar

By thomasmob |

Sat at the bar in the lively atmosphere. Had wine and oysters which were all great. Friendly, attentive staff in a cool restaurant.

Overrated tapas place

By Sylvie G |

I picked the burrata from a menu that I found totally uninteresting. The burrata itself was of mediocre quality, I had 2 tiny pieces of bread with it, the plum tomatoes were overripe and I found a piece of super spicy something buried in the arugula. For drinks, I ordered a cava and the waiter had no idea of what it was. He was rude and uninterested. This place is a no to me, nice from the outside but disappointing.

Amazing place

By Helen |

I visited Bazar Tapas and was blown away by the amazing food and great vibes. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious tapas dishes, each one bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The highlight for me was the grilled octopus. The cocktails were also top-notch, with creative and tasty options that perfectly complemented the food. Overall, I would highly recommend Bazar to anyone looking for a fun and delicious night out.

Should be better than it is

By RF-WMi |

We had reservation for 5 people on a recent Friday night. It’s a TINY place, and it’s tapas so expected a short wait despite reservations. 20 minutes + later, after watching a table walk out, we were seated. Menu looked good, got a carafe of Albariño that turned out to be more like a half carafe ... beer drinkers were out of luck for decent draft choices. No guidance on portions, so we guessed. Service was no frills but quick. Mussels were excellent, bacon and Brussels also great, 2 cheese plate was tiny. Heirloom tomato salad was cold - as in, came out of fridge. A few other dishes were ok. We weren’t full so ordered another dish or two and more wine, like you do - isn’t that how tapas works? - but we were hardly lingering. Hadn’t finished our last sips before host/owner basically asked us to vacate the table. How nice! Not.

Great dinner time with perfect service

By Kata |

It was great to be here! Amazing food, delicious drinks and perfect service. We all love their cocktails. :)

Used to be good

By Derek P |

What happened? Bad drinks bad food, bar staff eating behind bar...so sad as this place was great. The drinks tasted watered down...the halloumi c Ake which used to be sublime not so. I need not go on..

Amazing tapas

By Edward C |

This is one of the best tapas restaurants in nyc. The best paella’s outside of Spain. Great service and a fantastic location

Bazar Tapas Bar

By Hugary1 |

A pretty nice place. NY seems to be more bars and grills in the central area we were in. Restaurant all set up for Halloween. Staff very friendly and service was excellent. Food fresh and big meals. With tip two wines an beer and 3 meals plus min 20% tip was $150 for two.

Best Tapas

By derrickwg36 |

This restaurant serves amazing tapas and drinks, and has very good service. Every tapa I tried had incredible flavors.

Overpayment on card

By Sally B |

Great place & great food if you know what to order & thus get value for money. Like most places in NYC it is expensive. We very much enjoyed the food but what I am unhappy about is the US$10 added to my bill AFTER I had signed and returned the merchant copy of the receipt. Surely this is illegal? They do not bring the card machine to the table and no PIN is required.

Amazing place

By Pernille B |

Amazing service, atmosphere and food, specially loved the truffles fries and lemon chicken. Teccomend everyone to go there

Lovely setting, professional waitstaff and good food

By Sallad13 |

A party of four ordered a number of dishes including char-grilled octopus, branzino filets, chicken liver, salami and cheese, and the oxtail cavatelli. The food was deliciously prepared and the selection allowed everyone to try something different (and share). Next time we are in Manhattan, we will return.

Little Bazár restaurant, EXCELLENT!!!

By Tom |

We stumbled upon Little Bazár late on Sunday night when the restaurant we had originally tried was closed . So happy the first restaurant was closed because the experience at Little Bázar was extraordinary. The food was amazing, we ordered tuna tostadas, steak bites, wild mushroom croquettes, and truffle mac & cheese, and pomme frites…. Everything was amazing, very fresh, super tasty… Delizioso!!! Our waitress, Annie, was delightful. So kind and very personable. Ernesto, our food server was also very friendly, knowledgeable and quit the character. And Jack, the owner/manager was extremely welcoming, definitely a gracious and generous host (thank you for the cheesecake). Also they are dog friendly, which is a deal breaker, since we have three big dogs (2 pit bulls and a husky-mix) who we take everywhere with us. Thank you so much Little Bazár for such a wonderful dining experience. Tom & Julien Belle, Aspen & Patch (the 3 dogs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great lunch spot

By tbiss |

Very good tapas. Came here for lunch with some workmates. Loved them all. The place was pretty empty on a Wednesday. Nice atmosphere.

Great Lunch/Brunch surprise!

By stevelotte |

We found this spot and now we are sharing it with all our friends and family. The tapas were great options. Everything was well prepared and fresh. Wait staff was young and enthusiastic. Service was very good. Definitely worth a visit on a street with many options. Recommend this one.

Over priced and not really tapas

By stevekathybithell |

They claim to serve Tapas which they dont Might help in a member of staff visited Spain to see what are and how to serve tapas

Great place to meet friends

By Gretchen |

A group of friends met here for happy hour and it was great! The happy hour drink prices were great and we ordered tons of tapas to share. Perfect place to drink and talk and eat.

Bring Ear Plugs

By ccpark888 |

Planned a dinner for my friends and family for a special gathering and took the time to phone to inquire for possible seating area and reco to avoid being next to other large parties, so that we can have a catch-up and some convo, and was told that they made a note of it etc... got there to find out we were seated sandwiched next to (2) two other parties of 10! Needless to say, we heard nothing anyone said nor what was ordered, the worst! And it's too bad, we felt rushed and of the food that we ordered it was good, but we couldn't wait to leave and go to another venue for coffee.

Amazing atmosphere

By Mathilde |

Really good service and amazing atmosphere! The food and drinks is delicious <3 Perfect for a night out with friends or colleagues!

Good tapas for a reasonable price

By Indiana_of_Virginia |

We arrived in New York and were looking for something on the small side to eat for a late dinner so we visited Bazar for tapas. The restaurant was comfortable with a huge bar. We arrived about 8:00 p.m. and the restaurant was busy, but not crowded. We had mushrooms, shrimp ajillo (best dish), and bruchetta. It was all very good. What is more food service was very fast!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere

By SimeyTravels |

Full disclosures: this was a work meal, and our party consisted of 12 people. We had one vegan, two sometimes-pescatarians and a non-red-meat eater at the table. I also had no control over what was ordered - in fact, I never once saw the menu! My boss was at the other end of the table with half of our guests, and she was ordering plate after plate after plate of yummy, interesting, delightful dishes that just magically appeared in front of me and the other half of our guests all night long. I legit lost track of all the things that were placed in front of me, and I definitely did not get a chance to try everything. I will say that everything, without exception, that I placed in my face that night was beyond delectable. I know we had a sampling of everything ranging from Brussels sprouts to quinoa salads to lamb chops to salmon and short ribs and cauliflower plates and scallops and a charcuterie board and ribs and...the plates just kept coming! I wish I could have paid more attention to the food, but my sole focus that night were the guests we'd flown across the country (in a lot of cases) to attend the event. I took pictures where I could, but most of the evening was playing a game of telephone, where the answer to "and what's this, then?" was transported from my boss at the other end of the table to my group, with varying success. The staff was phenomenal, as well. We were a loud, rowdy, passionate group of creators, corporate types and nonprofit founders, and the longer the night wore on, the more food and wine that flowed, the more the volume went up. There were speeches and laughter and a few mock fights, but the staff handled us all like pros. I'm so glad our events team found this restaurant, and that they were able to take our group on relatively short notice!

Return visir

By jandjd2 |

We were first here 2 years ago & had a great meal. We weren’t disappointed this time either. We chose tapas on both occasions which were freshly cooked & delicious. Atmosphere is relaxed & staff are very friendly & efficient. When told this was a repeat visit we were given a complimentary dessert. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant

To flee to flee

By Jacques |

Arriving in the evening we were installed under the freezing air conditioning Having asked to be moved We were suggested to turn off the air conditioning which was done. Then order wine we choose a wine at $70 which is still not available, the other 2 at the same price are not available either but the waiter offers us to taste a wine at $80 Not on the menu so no price guarantee at the end of the evening, we go for a 50 cl carafe at $52 Good wine but barely served, the air conditioning is restarted We complain about it stopped again Then order 2 Ribs which do not have bones, the waiter assures us, and 2 cod The waiter came back 10 minutes later to tell us that there was no more fish. Immediate order from my friend for pasta and for me after much thought for lamb chops Service of the women's meat then 10 minutes later 2 plates of chops refusal of one of the 2 The waiter comes to complain that we had ordered 2 dishes of ribs So he turns over a plate and recommends pasta which will be provided at the same time as the rest of us' plates are cleared Result 200 dollars and even without the tip normally due to the server except in the event of very strong customer dissatisfaction (normally between 50 and 70 dollars) Needless to say, the waiter didn't come back to claim them.

Great place to dine and catchup with friends!

By Gena B |

Bazar has some of the best small plates for sharing with friends. The scallops were mouthwatering, the wild mushroom croquettes were wonderfully flavorful and I hogged the tender escargots blocking my friends from bread diving into the the spinach, butter, parmesan sauce. Needless to say we ordered another round of those snails. The wine and sangria flowed and we chit chatted all evening and enjoyef the atmosphere.

Yummy tapas and wonderful live music

By Adrienne C |

I loved the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere here, as well as the mouth-watering tapas. I was a big fan of the burrata, steak bites and bone marrow. The live music was lovely and very high quality - at first I thought it was the radio! Sangria was excellent as well.

Good quality food, sizable tapas, service a little Manana Manana!!

By Laura M |

Joined my brother and his work colleagues for a midweek dinner. Place was busy and our reservation was a good idea! Our waiter was friendly if a little over confident with his personable manner... i.e he needed to concentrate on serving his area rather than schmoozing with everyone else too. This caused one or two unnecessary delays but wasn't a major concern. The good was excellent. We had someone with a gluten allergy and although the waiter did his best to reassure, he made sure he consulted with the chef to ensure nothing was untoward. The tapas was excellent quality. Personally I can recommend the ahi tuna and the crab cake. The meatballs, steak bites and the meats and cheese platter!! Drinks were a little slow but the place was busy even for a Wednesday night. I'd definitely come back.

Had my money stolen

By laurenfl2018 |

I went to this restaurant on Saturday night last weekend with 6 others - all of whom were visiting from England. This was the one night I had to see them and we decided to all go out to dinner together and wanted to have a nice night. We all ordered food, and some ordered drinks as well. We had a female waitress, whose name I unfortunately cannot recall. However, the meal was going fine until the very end. My friend paid for her bill, which was 27$ with a 40$ bill. She gave 3$ tip. My friend is from the UK where you only tip 10%. If the waitress felt that this tip was not sufficient, she may have simply politely asked that we give a little more. However, the waitress instead kept the 43$ and did not return to our table. Three different times one of us got up and went to her and politely asked if she bring my friend the 13$ change she owed. The waitress said she would however never did. At this point we were ready to leave, but we still did not understand why our money was not returned to us. We went to the waitress and she was standing with a man - who I assume was the manager - and we again asked if we could have our money back. She told us that she did not feel our tip was sufficient and then proceeded to tell us that she heard us "gossiping" about her and whispering things. I assure you, we did not speak about her once. We were having a nice meal and we were on holiday and there was absolutely no reason to "gossip" about her. Furthermore, this does not give her a right to decide what amount of tip she deserves- which by the way was 60%. The manager, rather than apologize for this, proceeded to repeat that our tip amount was not sufficient. We said, again, this is fine but we asked for our change back and then if they believed we should have given more tip we would have given more. We had no problem giving more tip. We had a problem that our money was stolen from us, even after we repeatedly asked for our change. We would have given more tip, but the waitress took 16 dollars for herself and the meal cost 27$, which again is a 60% tip, which is absurd. She finally returned to us our 13$ after more arguing. I wanted to send this message, not because I will ever be returning to this restaurant after this event, but because I believe it is important for Bazar Tapas to know why 7 people will not be returning to their restaurant and hopefully this doesn't happen to any other customers.

Beware of ‘happy hour’ conditions

By Bargainhunter6 |

We stopped here for food but unfortunately they had stopped serving. As there was a happy hour offer we decided to have a drink and wish we hadn’t bothered now. My partner clearly asked what beer was on the happy hour offer pointing at the sign on the wall and was given 2 options, one of which he chose. I also opted for a glass of wine that looked like it should have been on the offer too. The bill arrived and we had been charged full price for both drinks. When my partner queried this we were told happy hour only applied if you sat at the bar but this was not publicised anywhere and neither were we told this at any point when we ordered our drinks. The waitress was very rude when challenged but did eventually give us a discount for the beer only. We left feeling very conned!

Forcing a $10 bottle of water

By Benjamin N |

We chose this bar because it had a nice little terrace. When ordering, a waitress asks us if we want water. We said no but the waiter went back to uncapping the bottle and served us without asking us. So we took dishes that were very expensive compared to the quantity. To avoid for tourists.

So good we returned

By John N |

Apparently this place only opened in August but is very popular - and we can understand why. Excellent tapas-style food - we tried the octopus, bacon slab - plus interesting salads and a fun (although noisy) environment with the long bar extending down much of the restaurant. Good friendly service. We ate there twice during our five night stay in NYC.

Great night

By Christina M |

Excellent drinks and good atmosphere! The food was also amazing. Excellent service! Really coming back another time

A Fantastic Tapas Experience

By Elisa B |

My 17 yr old daughter and I loved this tapas restaurant. The service was top shelf and so was the service. We made reservations for 6:30 and it was packed by 7:30. There was a variety of high quality choices and they made a great spicy cocktail. Highly recommend.

excellent tapas

By janettaube |

Had a great light sharing dinner with friends. From fish to vegetables to meats all varied and delicious

Good enough

By Becca |

Was in the area and after a bad day, just wanted a glass of wine and tapas. This place fit the bill. It's not the best and over-priced, but they always have seats/bar open and the shrimp was good.

Hidden charges, be vary of the bill

By Manisha B |

We had a mixed experience for this place which includes a shocker as well. The ambience was ok, nothing extraordinary. The food and drink quality was good. We had ordered a wild mushroom croquette and steak and eggs. However when the bill came, we were surprised to see a extra surcharge of approx $4 on our bill. Turned out that they were charging us to use a card to pay the bill. If we paid in cash, then that surcharge will go away. We were shocked as this is fairly upscale restaurent in chelsea and even in a bodega they will not charge you extra for paying by card. Who in today’s digital transaction world carries wads of dollar bills to pay at such places. I wont go there again!

Great place for Lunch

By Antionio10 |

Didn't know about this restaurant until I saw it on Yelp. It is a great place for lunch. The tapas are large. In some restaurants they would be appetizers. The meatballs, hummus, mushroom, wedge salad all good. Don't over order thinking this is a typical tapas restaurant. Service is good too. It's an attractive restaurant too.

Delicious

By Jeremy W |

Everything we ate was good. The atmosphere was a bit subdued but service was fast and friendly. The winning element is the quality of the food. We eat in great places around the world and every dish was superb. Try the grilled octopus, so tender and full of flavor, one of the best I have had. Lamb chops are perfect. Fig and frico salad crip and fresh. Recommended

Great octopus

By JazzSooner |

Had the octopus and the charcuterie board. Really beautiful presentation and the food was delicious. Place was very busy but staff were good. Super cute vibe inside too. Recommend

Spanish style tapas in a cozy fun atmosphere!

By Jen |

Their goat cheese is the bomb! If you like brie-style goat cheese, this is a must. Wonderful deep flavor. Can recommend the crab cake tapas - decent size with that fall apart, I’m mostly crab and not filler crab cake, with bright apple + jicama remulade flavors. We also had the seared tuna with a carrot ginger purée tapas. Very tasty and good size pieces of tuna. Also had the roasted mushroom tapas. Nice portion for a tapas and very tasty, yet light. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake and ice cream. Yum! Oh and the bartender gives generous pours and is a hoot as well. And the service was super, easy going with helpful suggestions. Will def go back!

Basil Linguine was Amazing

By LovesDessert |

I would return and just order the Basil Pasta. I ordered a plate of Fourmage and was disappointed in the amount or lack of cheese and bread. My friend and I shared the Paella, which had an abundance of seafood but was a bit on the salty side. Great atmosphere and good service.
