The restaurant was nicely decorated with a Christmas tree as Mike DeAngelo and I went before going to Ranger game for his birthday. Restaurant was quiet surprisingly . We started with the onion soup which Mike said was very good. I had a shrimp cocktail it was nice and cold and came with great sauce with horse radish. I should of stopped there. I ordered a sirloin and it came very rare and soaked in butter. Truly not the way it should be. Mike had a rib eye. No butter figure that one out. The manager saw it was undercooked and brought it for more cooking. Service was excellent. I wouldn't go back after that.

This turned a bad night into a memorable experience. Wife and I had reservations at a different steakhouse in the area and we ended up waiting almost 2 hours. We decided to leave and go to ben and jacks. The steaks were cooked just right and the service was amazing. I will recommend this place to all of my clients and friends.

A friend of mine suggested this restaurant. We walked from the Omni Hotel good walk after eating a big steak. $1.59 oysters on the half shell in NYC. I'm a huge oyster eater. Had two tequilas, a dozen oysters, a bone in rib-eye and a sweet potato. Wife had wine a petite filet mingeon the size of Oklahomaand a class of wine $150.00 The steak cooked to perfection. Did I say perfect!

My husband had looked at this restaurant online whilst we were staying at The Westin Grand Central for our first visit to New York. On our final evening, we decided to treat ourselves to a 'proper American steak.' The service upon arrival was excellent with the lady at front of house ready to take our coats (it's been an exceptionally cold winter in New York!) and seat us at a delightful little table for 2. Our waiter was excellent, extremely attentive and ready with recommendations when asked. The wine was delicious, the steaks and sides amazing and my Old Fashioned cocktail finished the evening off perfectly. This is not a cheap restaurant by any means, but life is for living and 'live' we certainly did! Thank you all for a great 'last night' in New York.

Yes, I said it, chicken! I ordered the chicken parm and it was better than any Italian restaurant I have been to. My friend had the rib eye which was juicy, tender, and had the right crust. The high ceilings and beautiful chandeliers really doesn't give you that old school steak house feel. Make sure to try the cheese cake!

After visiting the 5th avenue location, I had to give this one a try. My buddies and I usually get together once a month for a steak dinner and ben & jacks is our go to restaurant since we had an amazing time at the other location. The food continues to to impress and the service is top notch.

I always take clients to this amazing restaurant. Every time is better than the next. The owner Admir / Timmy. and all his staff and waiters are incredible! I cannot thank you enough for every amazing meal and service you give me Highly recommended on all points Michelle

Between all of the choices of restraurants in midtown Manhattan, Ben and Jacks is by far my best experience to date! Definitely order the ribeye Cajun style if you’re a steak lover. On top of the great food, the service is phenomenal and they make you feel at home. Would recommend to anyone for a great meal or even a drink at the bar... guaranteed to have a delectable experience !

We had a wonderful time. We were taken care of very well. I highly recommend this place if you like good food and a great time

Bar- Waiting for the rest joining me for dinner I had a drink by the bar, I had a Russels Cocktail. I must say that the bartender was a so friendly and with a great personality. Overall experience- Excellent eating experience... From walking in the door and being greeted by employees, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful. We had the Ben and Jacks salad, calamari. Untill here we were amazed, ordering the Main plates gave as more curiosity will it keep on being everything prepared with such passion. And then the steak for four it comes, I can say that was far better than I expected. The attention offered from the manager Hagi is impressing, what else can I say besides that we will be back every time we have the possibility. Thank you Hagi and all the amazing staff of Ben & Jack Steakhouse

Everything was good except the food. Our party of six was greeted nicely and seated graciously. It went down hill from there. Simply stated the steaks were a embarrassing disgrace. Was this a restaurant week substitution? The steaks we were served seemed to be super market replacements from what is expected at a New York steak house. The vegetables where steam table, over cooked, tasteless cafeteria specials. You would think on Restaurant Week they would put there best foot forward rather than ripping off their customers.

We were a party of 5. Crowded we thought due to NYC restaurant week. Although everyone liked their main course, the service left something to be desired. We had the restaurant week dinner - selections good. But how long does it take for a salad??? Disappointing. In addition dessert portions were not consistent another flaw in the kitchen. My other pet peeve is - when wait staff don’t know who orders what meal and have to ask. When paying what you pay at a steakhouse, take pride in your service. There are other steakhouses that I would frequent - not in Brooklyn.

The steaks at Ben and Jacks are wonderful and cooked to perfection. They have a unique oven/broiler that makes your mouth water. The sides are to share and delicious too. Service is impeccable.

Very good steaks for sure. The sevice even is ok was looking a little messy and the restaurant was very noisy that evening. I can still recommend but do not be suprised to pay approx. 90 USD per persons. Normal in NYC.

After a very hectic day, 5 of us needed feed and a good steak was the answer. One of my colleagues suggested Ben and Jacks, which proved to be a brilliant choice. After much consideration, 5 ribeyes were chosen (on the bone) with a great mix of shared sides and a magnum of a fine Nappa Valley red. Service was excellent - attentive enough that you were well looked after, but not so much that it was intrusive. By the end of the meal, there were only bones and a few scraps left, with 5 very satisfied (and well fed) customers. All I can say is that, thank God for the need for a 10 block walk.

My friends and I went to Ben and Jacks on our last night in New York as a birthday treat. We were not disappointed the whole experience was fantastic from the moment we walked through the door. The food was superb, the wine and cocktails excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive especially Timmy and Nick. We stayed a long time and Timmy kept us entertained, he told us the history of his family and made us laugh with his stories. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone going to New York. If I return to your fabulous city I will be back. Thank you for making our birthday trip so memorable.

So me and my wife checked out Ben & Jack's because they recently reopened and found them right under the Even Hotels NY - Midtown East. They have a great selection of meats and wines; also to our surprise some veggies. We ordered the German Potato For Two, Daily Selection Of East & West Coast Oysters, some Asparagus, sauteed spinach, and two Petite Filet Mignon w/ mushroom sauce. The service was excellent and well timed Definitely will go back.

Wagyu Burger and steak fries: best burger and fries I’ve ever eaten and it was enormous and every mouthful a delight. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly. Always nice to visit somewhere that has crisp linen tablecloth’s . From the outside this place doesn’t look much but once inside it’s a whole other world!

Porterhouse was chard and perfectly cooked inside, seafood was very fresh, and the sides were enough for two. It was very convenient, walking distance from grand central.

They deliver to Even Hotel in the evening so ended up ordered their grilled prawns and ate them at the Even Hotel Restaurant.

Upon arrival everything went well until we were sat at our table out the back in a dark corner. Draught from back door was terrible. Every other table got bread on arrival and we didn’t even get that until halfway through starters I actually got up and asked for it. Mains came with every sauce under the sun which I didn’t ask for and after 6 of them finally got what one I wanted. The sides came late and it seemed like no-one actually knew what was going on. One saving grace was one of the waiters could see I was pissed off and gave us desserts on the house which made things a little better to be noticed, especially when you’re paying exorbitant prices for in reality a steak dinner. Not wowed at this establishment to be totally honest.

Every week the guys get together and enjoy a steak dinner. It was 9 of us and they were able to accommodate us. We ordered enough food for 15 people and enjoyed everything. We had porterhouse steaks, rib eyes, filet mignon, mac and cheese, German potato, and etc. After 10 bottles of wine we were ready to leave. We'll be back for more!

Great place to have a special meal in New York. As well as really great steaks and a good choice on the wine list, the whole theater of dining here made this a perfect last night treat on my wife's birthday trip to east coast USA. Will stay in our memory until we hopefully have a chance to return.

US and another couple chose this place because we liked the NYC Restaurant Week Menu. However I did not ready the fine print and did not notice the Restaurant Week did not apply to Saturday Night. The menu is standard Steakhouse. My wife and I shared the Beefsteak Tomato and Mozzarella. The tomato was huge. I had the rib eye and it was enormous. Very tasty and good just as I asked for. My Wife had the Chicken Par, which she said was perfect. The restaurant was very good, but I have been to better steak houses.

We stopped in for martinis 2 nights and on the third night enjoyed Caesar salad and thick slab bacon with our martinis. Wonderful atmosphere and and enjoyed chatting with others at the bar as well as Ronnie and Mike. They are consummate professionals.

Clean rental , service is arrogant and not considerable. Awards are excessive compared to the quality of the food. The stink bread tastes weird indescribable , the cheap thing on the menu is onion soup and we understand why... it tastes like a worn sock and the color is that of sewers . Squid have the texture of rubber , frying is like sand and smells of oil . Potatoes are the only thing that is saved only because they have no taste and the cream they served me with could have been Philadelphia light from the supermarket that would have tasted better too.

Had an opportunity to eat at this fine establishment during a recent business luncheon. We arrived around noon and while the restaurant was busy, it was not overcrowded and not too noisy to talk business. Overall nice atmosphere. Service was excellent from the get do. Food was excellent. Even just their burgers are HUGE and cooked to perfection. Price is relatively high comparatively but well worth the extra.

Excellent restaurant, expensive with impeccable service and very good food quality I recommend it for those who have no difficulty spending

Yes expensive but the quality of the food and drink was great. Service exceptional, made recommendations that helped greatly in our experience.

Had a nice dinner and enjoyed my filet steak. Service was very attentive and feel always recognized there. A bit more traditional style with table-clothing etc, but good choice for sure

This place is a meat lovers paradise. They dry age everything in house and have a great selection of seafood. We had a porterhouse for 3, german potato, and creamed spinach. It was a true steak house experience that we will never forget.

Excellent choices of fish, meat, pasta. Service is usually good. Wine is excellent. Pricey, but worth it.

not much to say, just great food, good and fast service, seems , clean and nice atmosphere , quiet street, which helps.

I thought the food was fair and overpriced, I didn't eat in the restaurant, but in my room at Hotel Even This is an option at the hotel...you order from your room or at the bar in the lobby and they bring your food as take-out or you can eat at the lobby or bar.

Absolutely amazing food, service and ambiance. Food is amazing. Rib eye, Lobster Macaroni cheese, lobster tail , sautéed mushrooms. Ecko and the team of waiters were amazing.

This restaurant was right next to our hotel and it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the wait staff were very professional yet personable. This was definitely one of my favorite meals when during my visit to NYC.

My father is a big steak eater and very picky when it comes to dining out at steak houses. After reading the reviews, we decide to give them a try. I'm going to skip straight to the steaks. My father had the rib eye and I ended going with the sirloin. Both cuts were dry aged perfectly. The rib eye wasn't as fatty as the ones he has had in the past and the sirloin was very tender. They defiantly won my father's heart and we can't wait to go and try the porterhouse for two.

This is a really nice place. The atmosphere is well done, the service is profession and as you may have guessed the food is outstanding! Their steaks are cooked perfectly. The seafood is outstanding too.

After dropping a friend off at the Even hotel next door I went in to Ben and Jack's for dinner and drinks. My plan was to have a drink at the bar, but that turned into two as Ronnie the bartender was absolutely charismatic and super welcoming. I had my drinks (nice pours as well) and then headed into the dining room for dinner. My waiter Nick was attentive and quite entertaining. I ordered a Porterhouse (medium-rare) and two sides (mushrooms and Mac and cheese.) The food came out shortly afterwards and was perfect. I had some left over and it tasted just as good the next day. After dinner I actually went back and saw Ronnie at the bar for a third drink, and manager Hagi came by and hung out for a bit as well. These are stand-up guys, and when you come to Ben and Jack's you HAVE to ask for them. Excellent experience all around.

Food was delicious. Menu is like a Ruth Chris or Mortons were you order the entree and sides are a la carte. Good dinner date.

I consider myself a steak guy, specifically I love a good porterhouse. I frequent all of NYC's major steakhouses and Ben & Jacks hands down has the most consistent and delicious steaks out there. On top of that they make you feel like family. 5 stars. 100% recommend.

We had christmas eve dinner here. love their steaks, staff are warm and very accommodating. Recommended!

Great steaks on manhattan, right in the middle of scenery and happenings. Great selection of steaks andsea food, their lobstear was amazing and my friends steak was cooked the right away

We stayed at the hotel above and didn't feel like walking too far for dinner so we thought we'd give these guys a try. It was a pretty loud night but we didn't mind it. The service was perfect we always had our water glasses filled and the waiter made sure we were happy. My wife enjoyed the salmon and my rib eye was cooked perfectly. Every time we're in town this is going to be our go to restaurant.

Everything about the dinner was perfect. Service was impeccable, the steaks were cooked to perfection! Make sure you ask for the manager Ronny, you wont regret it!

Oh my, if you are looking for a good steak in New York this is the place ! The service was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was perfect , thank you for a great experience

The french onion soup was very flavorful. The side portions are sizeable enough for 2 people. The rib eye was flavorful and large enough for 2 as well. Too bad I can't say the same about the filet mignon. I ordered it medium and had to add salt and pepper. It lacked flavor and it seemed dry, old, cheap. I dont believe in using steak sauce on a steak. Salt, pepper and butter, this one lacked all of them.

I came here to celebrate my birthday during restaurant week. Everything was going good, until we asked to have our food wrapped. They ended up wrapping up my friends meal, and throwing away my meal. The waiter, Dino, said he would get me some more steak. So he comes back with two small slices of steak. We then had our dessert which was cheesecake. The cheesecake was terrible, it was hard, not soft and creamy. We asked for another piece that was fresher, that’s when Dino began giving us an attitude, telling us that restaurant week is very busy and that’s all he has, and that he is the only waiter working right now. Very unacceptable behavior from a waiter, very unprofessional. We asked to speak to the manager, his name was Hagi. By far the best manager I have ever dealt with, very polite, very apologetic, corrected the issue with the cheesecake and my steak. He really is an amazing manager, very professional!!

Rainy night in NYC, we had no plans and didn't want to walk around in the down pour, so I booked Ben & Jacks on open table for an 8pm reservation. On arrival, it looks a little dated - but in a good way, nostalgic. We was seated, we had some fab red wine and my friend asked a waiter where the nearest shop was to buy cigarettes and the host actually sent one of the bus boys to get the cigarettes. Best service ever! I ordered a petite filet mignon which was not petite at all, the size of a reg fillet steak in the UK, it was probably one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. We ordered a side of mac & cheese and baked potatoes, although it was a lot of food - the flavors were fantastic. Definitely one of my best meals in NYC and a real staple to visit. Along with great service, although not the cheapest (around $70pp) it was so worth it.

Exceptional service by Ecko, Food was exceptional. Location and restaurant are absolutely stunning. Rib eye, calamari, lobster macaroni and cheese was out of this world. All the food you order is exceptional

This restaurant was recommended to us , so we booked a table last night. We had steak to share, a huge Porterhouse, at least an 1 1/2 “ thick and cooked perfectly. The waiting staff were polite, efficient and Very friendly. Everything about this place was perfect. A bit on the pricey side but well worth every cent. It was so good we went back again tonight. Again prefect. Highly recommend this place, If you are visiting, it will be well worth seeking it out. Guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Porterhouse realy good ! Perfect ! We loved . Nice place ! Recomendes ! Somos brasileiros e apreciamos uma boa carne 🥩

This place is exactly why dining out is over rated. Another massively over priced badly cooked meal. I am beginning to wonder where the prices have come from. $55 for a bottle of red wine? £11 in England. Lamb chops $49, tasteless. My wife’s burger cost $35, it was dry, large salad tomato and raw white onion wedge slapped on top. Chips/fries awful, like cardboard. Total bill for two, $204. In the even hotel next door they serve take away from the same restaurant, burger the same as my wife had, $13.95, just be careful. I hope this review saves some people a lot of money

Excellent steak. Very generous portion. Reasonable price. Grilled asparagus very good. Excellent professional and friendly service. Bread was dry. Green salad good. Overall very good experience.

Very attentive service - a little too much if I’m honest but the food is exceptional. A good ambience and great choice of food

It was not my first time and he's one of my best choice to eat meat. This time a never felt the atmosphere from the past (conviviality) but it's OK. Negative point from my part was the dessert (not up to par with meat).

I work at "high end" fine dining restaurant in Key West. Recently met a special guest who in conversation realized i would be going to NYC for my annual Vacation. He asked me if I had ever been to Ben & Jacks, which i had not and suggested I go. While flying to NYC, the kind gentleman contacted me and told me he had made a reservation for me. I couldn't say no. When I arrived I chose to sit in the bar and was greeted by the Maitre D who knew I would be arriving and compliments of the aforementioned gentleman a bottle of Opus One 2018 was waiting for me. WOW, to say the least and quite humbling. I am NOT one to like dry aged beef so I was somewhat leary. The bartender/server suggested the ribeye as well as the special mashed potatoes. Without a doubt, one of the best steaks I have ever had in my life and certainly changes my reluctance to dry aged beef. It was the best of the best. The whole experience was great and I cannot wait to return on my next trip to NYC.

Expensive but very nice and worth a great meal in NYC. I had the petite mignon which I found not so petite and quite tasty. I might add that fourty dollars is the cheapest steak on the menu. No sides are included but you can get table water and bread. I enjoyed the bread clientele’s and atmosphere of the restaurant. Staff was good and effective. You don’t have to make reservations but they ask if you have one to sort out people who don’t belong I guess. Not packed so silly question. One should dress a little to fit the atmosphere. Nice meal.

You would think that restaurant week would be an opportunity to give visitors a good meal at a reasonable price, so they would want to come back. But Ben and Jack's missed that memo. We visited with friends from Europe. Of our party of six 5 decided to try the Dry aged Sirloin Steak, medium rare, and everyone regretted it. The steaks were tough, and full of gristle. Not what you expect from a NYC Steak House. The six had the petit filet, which was somewhat better. The appetizers were very good, dessert, so so. All in all, a disappointing dinner.

We went to this restaurant with friends that have been there many times. At our friends suggestion, we ordered steak for three to serve the four of us. There was more than enough and even some left overs. Even though we did not share the same taste in the cooking of the meat, this was no problem. The waiter was happy to accept our order for different degrees of cooking. The waiter was wonderful and very friendly. All of our food was served wonderfully and was very, very good. I'm not sure how this strakhouse's prices compare to others in the area. However, I guess $165 including tip was in line. I highly recommend this local restaurant.

A lifelong friend and I decided to take advantage of Restaurant Week and chose this restaurant as our late father’s were Ben and Jack. The steak was delicious, served with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli,we selected a Caesar salad to start. The service was pleasant and efficient. It felt like a men’s club ,we were definitely outnumbered. Conveniently located in midtown Manhattan.

We have visited the restaurant in the past and being that we were in New York for the week we had to come back. This time the food was even better! We had the steak for three, mac and cheese, and cream spinach. The steak is fork tender and melts in your mouth. I wish they would deliver their steaks to the west coast.

Came in for a business lunch and was able to close the deal! My clients enjoyed the food and it was the best steak they ever had. I will highly recommend to restaurant for any client lunches/dinners.

The steak is pure perfection. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just the way you like it. The staff is super friendly, adding a warm touch to the whole experience. If you're up for a fantastic steak in a chill setting, Ben and Jack's is the spot!

Excellent menu, excellent A+ staff, great tasting food. Actually went to this restaurant becuase Smith & Wollensky was closed due to a fire and am I glad I did. Surprising how absolutely perfect this restaurant was. Food cooked to perfection,- fish, steak and all else. Service was over the top perfect....treated me like I dine there every week.

The staff is lovely! All very eager to take care of our every need. Clean, nice linens, excellent choices on the menu! Glad we chose to eat here. Sea scallops, sea bass were very good, as were the filets. Nice wine list! And great apple cobbler for dessert.

We had dinner here on Sunday night as we were staying next door at the Even Hotel (great place). The steaks were cooked exactly as requested with a nice " bark" on the outside. Salad and sides we were great too. Very nice service too.

Although we hadn't booked we were welcomed into the restaurant as if we were long time customers. The waiters were attentive and helped us choose our meal. The crab cakes were to die for and then the steak (we had a sharing T-bone steak) which was the biggest steak I have ever eaten. Wow!.The head man came and cut the steak up for us, ensuring we both had some of the fillet. Beautifully cooked, caramelised on the outside a dark crisp brown and a little bloody on the inside just as we had ordered. Delicious. It was expensive but worth every penny.

Was recommended this restaurant by family who have visited before. Did not disappoint. Food was beautiful with huge portions (as expected in NYC)! Staff were great, friendly and quick service.

i was frankly disappointed after hearing that this was owned by former peter lugar restaurant employees as the steak was not as good and all 4 of us had them cooked to the wrong temperature.i sent my underdone steak back twice to get it up to the asked for doneness. service was soso as well and i wont be going back here agian

It's not totally fair to write a review of this place since I did not have lunch or dinner here. Was staying at the EVEN next door so I could walk over without a coat on a very cold day. Read about the place and it sounded good. I came for the 1.50 oysters during Happy Hour and a Martini. Both were good. Their hamburger is said to be good and looked good to me. If I had more time I would come back tor a steak. Next time.

By far our most expensive meal in NY but well worth the price on the restaurant week menu. Starters of ceaser salad and clams were ok, both sirloin and fillet steaks were great and we couldn't finish our puddings. Sides were a bit dull. Service excellent, nice atmosphere, would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I stayed at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central so I could take my daughter out to dinner for her birthday. Ben and Jack’s seemed to fit the bill of the classic NY steakhouse, similar to a favorite we have back in our old Central Jersey area. It did not disappoint. We had a wonderful meal, calamari to start, a perfectly cooked medium steak for two, along with home fries and creamed Amina has which were well-prepared and a perfect accompaniment. We were stuffed, but they still brought our birthday cheesecake and mousse pie. Awesome! Service was wonderful and courteous, but gave us space. I now know where to go when back in the City on business.

The hubby and I went there Friday for lunch. Good food, very good portion, good service. Per the waiter they have been busy due to restaurant week in NYC. So, there were a few details that were missed due to the busy time. It was fine for us as we understand that things happen. So, I say go and try it out.

Want a great steak and a romantic dinner, here is your restaurant. Great for family’s, business or just the two of you. The filet was outstanding and cooked to perfection. Wine selection is wonderful. If you like carrot cake, you need to try this one. Big enough to share, but you might not want to. Make a reservation to guarantee a table Hope you enjoy

We made a last minute booking for dinner at Ben & Jacks and I am so glad we did! The service was attentive and quick. The cocktails were worth the $15, full of alcohol and very tasty. The food was incredible and cooked to perfection. I would eat here every night if I could!

This is the best steak anyone in my family has ever had. The brussel sprouts were devine. So much meat came out it was insane. The salmon got mass reviews from my daughter. The calimari starter is really big but again amazing. Cannot praise the service enough. Honestly do yourself a favour go there.

Last night we went to Ben and Jack's steak house for our last meal in New York before heading back home. We could not have been happier with our choice. Our server took such great care of us. You could tell great customer service was a priority there. Our food was awesome as well. I had a seafood pasta in a spicy red sauce that was so delicious. The rest of our group of 5 was equally satisfied. Portion sizes are very generous and sides are large enough to serve at least 3. I highly recommend Ben and Jack's if great food and service are important to you.

Went to Ben & Jack's ~happy hour on a Thurs eve, our last night in NYC; staying at the EVEN hotel next door (also great). Bar was packed, but we managed to find a very comfy & romantic table in the bar. Staff very professional in both dress and service. Didn't want a huge meal b/c we had a full evening ahead of us, so ordered two of the petite filets from the bar menu, which included mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Both meals came out promptly, perfectly cooked & seasoned, and most importantly: HOT! My husband is a huge stickler about food being served hot, and he LOVED it, so major kudos. Also...please start selling the Ben & Jack's Steak Sauce...it is divine!!

I was referred to Ben & Jacks by the staff at the Millennium Hotel. I was by myself overnight in the city for work. It was a Thursday night so the bar was very crowded. I was given a smaller table in the restaurant. I had the lobster bisque which was very tasty. Also had the Wagyu burger with fries. It was good but not great for the price. Overall good experience

Needed a restaurant to close a deal and ben and jacks made it happen. The manager gave us a nice round table in the front which somewhat separated us from the main dining room. Our waiter Timmy was very professional and made sure that my guests were taken care of. Steaks were perfectly cooked and the wine suggestion paired perfectly with each course. We were all happy and I found my new place for every business dinner.

I went to ben and jacks after work. What a great experience I had the staff was so friendly and attentive always making sure everthing was great. The environment was so nice. For someone who live in NYC and dont like to dine alone this service was perfect. I live in NYC but this was the best experience by far. I will be going back again

Great atmosphere with friendly staff, I went with a friend who comes in about once a month and everyone knew him by name. Really great steak with fantastic bacon and apps.

The restaurant offers a variety of cuts of meat, all of which are cooked to perfection - although it is a little bit pricy on my side (just a little bit)

Ok so stranger in town and looking for a steak house in New York. Loads to choose from but a lot of rip off joints! I randomly picked this one and could not have been happier!! I go there for happy hour. A must if you like oysters!! A dollar fifty each! Then a sirloin steak rare which I was going to photograph for the review but I ate it!! So so good!! V friendly barman called mike also! A must visit!

Well the title says it. I was on business on my own in New York and thought I needed oysters and steak! Well if you ever are in the same position go to Ben and Jack’s steak house. Before 7 the oysters are $1.50 per oyster and the sirloin steak cooked medium rare is just so so good! I had sides of french fries and peas and onions. There was so much I took half back to the hotel! It was delicious!
Excellent meat, impeccable service
Excellent meat impeccable service to recommend very good time the only downside would be the air conditioning which was a little too cold this seems common in NYC
