5 Stars – Exceptional Service! I had the pleasure of being served by Arlene during my recent visit, and I can honestly say she made the entire dining experience outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm — the kind of person who makes you feel welcome from the moment you sit down. She knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and checked in on us just the right amount without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to come across service this good — she truly went above and beyond. Thank you for making our meal so enjoyable.

A great place to eat a good burger, they have many types, the place is huge and the treatment fantastic. We were already a little late, around 22:00 and without problem.

Went for an evening bite to eat before going up The Rock, I have visited a few burger restaurants in NYC & this is the best of them all. Great food the staff made you feel like it was a pleasure to serve you, we ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, sliders & wild Bill’s buffalo chicken sandwich the fries are very good & 2 soda's. the meals arrived within 10 mins of ordering & the place was busy which I liked. The bill was around $110 with tip & will return on my next visit to NYC. Thanks for a lovely meal we are still saying how good it was.

Good location. Traveling with kid in wheelchair and the tables are really close a little hard to navigate. I got a burger rancher. It was really good. The sweet potato fries should not be offered they were not good. The onion ring are very good.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the food was awesome!! I felt very welcome and my waitress Kim was so sweet and accommodating!

We were wandering looking for a quick light meal. This is a great place for that. It is also great if you have a bigger hunger. The menu is large with apps, burgers, chicken dishes, and more. Our food came out quickly and was very good. Service was excellent.

Food was amazing, it was really nice to see a nice burger place so far away from home. Nelkin was so nice when answering all the questions we had about the items on the menu, it’s very refreshing to find someone who has the patience she has when going to a new place.

Quite simply, the best burger I’ve ever tasted, perfectly cooked, juicy, and unforgettable. Conveniently located near Rockefeller Center, and surprisingly affordable.

A wonderful experience, very good the girl who attended to us NELKIN, excellent service, I was marveled by his way of working and attending to us. My family was left wanting to come back when we return to New York for sure. Very good customer service.

Erika Anas was our server and she was incredible. We had three younger children after a long day of siteseeing, and she was incredible patient, attentive, and kind to us. Would highly recommend.

Big place, great location, just off 5th avenue & right by the Rockefeller Centre. Service was good, we were seated quickly, busy & lots of big groups in. We arrived about 5pm & asked about the happy hour but there were only a couple of local beers that were available on the happy hour offer. We had classic cobb salad & the big mamoooo burger, huge portions, all fresh, well presented, very tasty. Good atmosphere, enjoyable evening, thank you.

Made a reservation for 6pm last night & they were able to seat us about 30 minutes early. This place got crowded quick! Very very loud & busy! The booth we were in was a little tight. The food was delicious though & our waiter was great. The shakes, pretzels & burgers didn’t disappoint. The fries however, tasted exactly like McDonald’s & were a little soggy / cool. A member of my family cannot go up the stairs so we asked if there was an elevator. They did have one but it wasn’t very convenient & a little confusing to get to. It drops you off in the corner of the restaurant.

Came in with a large group of hungry teenagers ready for a great dinner and Bill's delivered! Julian was a wonderful server and the kids left with full bellies and smiles on their faces. Thank you for a great first dinner in NYC!

A very tasty burger in a good location - right in the centre of nyc action. Prompt service (almost too quick) and overall a good experience. My teenagers loved their food and that was the main reason for our visit!

Made a reservation here for yesterday for an early dinner. They were able to take us early which was great. Crowded inside, especially I’m sure due to the time of year and proximity to Rockefeller Center. Our server was nice and friendly. Quick service. Good menu with a lot to choose from. We all enjoyed our apps: the giant pretzel and wings. Everyone enjoyed their burgers they got. Sliders came in 3, or 5 and the 5 came with some onion rings and fries. Good choice to split that meal as those sliders were a decent size. Overall a solid meal.

Came here on the reviews being good Had to wait for a table which was fine as he hadn’t booked but we didn’t have to wait long 10mins We were shown to a table which was near the over head fans. Noticed a few people with their coats still on and I have to say I had to keep mine on. There was a bit of a draught The burgers were ok I had the buffalo chicken burger. The burgers were lukewarm and the buffalo sauce wasn’t very nice. Now maybe that’s just me. I had some roasted brussel sprouts which were tasty though My husband had the Swiss burger but he said it was ok. The meal was just ok. Just was expecting a taster burger

Booked a table for 7.30 and it was ready for 7.30. That's the best bit. It's a very very busy place. People are waiting for tables in the droves. All hanging around next to tables where people are eating. Staff are dragging rubbish all over the place. It's chaos. Our table was crammed in, and staff where squeezing over you trying to reach tables. The food came out very fast. This is good as we wanted to get out ASAP. The food is very average at best. Service is not great. They are just too busy. 3 burgers , 1 bottle of beer, and 1 coke was 80 dollars. I would go else where to be honest.

Bland, boring, lazy run of the mill food and staff that don't care. Supposed to be an award winning burger, really!!!! What an absolute let down, McDonald's is tastier, the food is so mass produced that's it's bland, tasteless and a disgrace to the food sector. This place should be recatagorised as a fast food outlet, the staff are lazy, uninformed and the manager is a complete that. Don't go bear this place, it's an absolute disgrace.

We were excited to visit again, having visited before twice but some years ago. Food was good and our server was very helpful. The visit was ruined by a male staff member (glasses and checked shirt, possibly in a management role judging by the lack of challenge to him by colleagues). This staff member was abrasive in his manner - he literally jumped out at myself & my daughter as we came out of the rest room. Gesticulating & announcing loudly that we had used the wrong one. The signage is very vague, 2 cows and apparently one is “male” and one is “female”. I was a bit baffled so we went into the one which had a lady coming out of it. He was curt and unfriendly and when I got upset (tearful) he told me “This is New York City!” , ie expect people to be rude? I heard one of his colleagues comment “He never learns…” which says it all. It would put me off returning.

Excellent Burgheria with wide choice. Local suitable for families with children. Very kind staff apart from the young lady at reception. Kids menu with both meat and chicken burgers for only $10. The burgers are really good.

We had a family meal here but it can be for couples or friends. Good selection of food which is mainly American cuisine. Gluten free nachos and a gluten free bun for my burger. Staff were friendly and food service was quick. I had to wait a little longer for my gf burger but that’s fine.

Classic American burger bar. The burgers are not bad (there are better ones in town), great fries and Milk Shakes like in the best movies. Very popular booking advice or you can find yourself waiting even an hour. Attentive and fast staff

We came here for dinner, pretty late btw. The food was very good: I really like the choice of inserting all sorts of bun in the menu. I also tried the sweet potato chips, delicious. The location was great, but the music was too loud and I couldn't talk to others easily. The service is very fast and available.

The burger was very good, and the fries (ordered separately and paid separately) were delicious. We wanted to eat a typical American burguer. But the price was in line with the city, very expensive. This is the reason for not scoring the place better.

Typical American diner serving delicious burgers and drinks. We went before a show at radio city hall - perfectly located as its a few minutes walk. It was extremely busy but the service was excellent.

My family and I went to the restaurant near Rockefeller Center and I have to say that if I could give zero stars to the restaurant, I definitely would. Food was terrible and expensive for what it was and the menu had very limited options, but the worst thing at this place was the service: one of the women working there was more than rude and told us that we couldn't all sit (a family of four) at a four-person table if only two of us were going to eat (my mom and I weren't planning on eating), so the lady raised her voice at my mom and basically ordered us to order to go or leave the establishment; on the other hand, one of the men working there got furious and yelled very loudly at a family that "they couldn't just come in and sit wherever they wanted" but had to be seated by a waitress. Very dissapointing...avoid if you can!!!!

We did a quick Google search after an evening visit to Top of the Rock and fancying burgers. Bills came up as nearest and did not disappoint. We ordered a swiss mushroom, the rock, a classic, the big mammoooo, disco fries, chilli fries & onion rings. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the disco fries! Our server was excellent, really friendly & we would definitely visit again.

I am a regular here for lunch, as I work in the same building (45 Rock). Bill’s Burger is the best. Excellent food, prompt service, especially Nelkin, who’s great! who knows I have to abide by a special keto diet. I will be back. Again and again.

It was very delicious. We both had a burger and a portion of fries together. There were two meats inside the burgers. For regular eaters, something enough. Our service Flavio was very accommodating and attentive. The drinks were also very delicious. It was a little loud music.

Mixed feelings. We were walking around Rockefeller Center & needed someplace for dinner & this fit (not close to closing time). The food was really good (with some saying the burgers were the best they’ve had in a while), but our waitress seemed pretty disinterested in us and was only slightly helpful when we had a couple questions about the menu & wasn’t willing to accommodate our request for a split check. The restaurant did the job of feeding us good food, but didn’t make us feel like were valued customers.

I recommend this restaurant 100% we have great food, very well received. No need to book. We went back a second time the same week during our stay in New York. As soon as I get back to New York I'll go straight back to this restaurant. We were served by KIM nothing wrong. Our glasses always fill with water. Take care of yourself if all goes well if we miss anything. The super nice manager because we struggled to speak English especially to make ourselves understood to order and the director speak French so it helped us well. And we offered fries and donuts with onions and not small amounts and gifts for the children. Frankly top I recommend 100% A little hello from the English Channel (France)

I took 27 NYC 8th graders to this place. Staff was amazing, prices were so reasonable and my kids had a great time. The food was awesome. I highly recommend this place. Its about a five minute walk from the 9/11 museum/memorial. Its close to the subway which took us to the LIRR to get back to our school. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the amazing staff at Bill’s Bar and Burgers!

Our first day in New York and we got a pleasant surprise to discover this place while walking around the city. Delicious food but best of all was Victoria's excellent Service and great attention. We have been here the past 3 years during the holidays and today 12/08/24 we had just arrived from Texas and had a starving party of 8!The Manager Jennifer was so helpful and got us a great table for such a large party. I can’t say enough about her and how great she was. The service was immediate and on point. Can’t wait to come back.

This is very convenient because it is located in the Mariott Hotel. The chicken sandwich was excellent as well as the tomato soup/grilled cheese combo. We sat at the bar and Stephanie was our bartender/service person. She was very pleasant and even made a special drink for us.

I enjoyed eating here , I was walking around with my kids and spotted this place and gave it a try . I really liked the cobb salad and the mozzarella sticks ofc, Erika was our waitress and she was on a roll with the refills and we were in and out just how I wanted !! Thank you Erika !!

We loved lunch at this busy midtown restaurant. Large space with bar seating, simple menu and professional staff. We sat at the bar and ordered New England clam chowder, onion rings and chicken wings. Service was quick and everything was delicious. We will be back!

It is very cozy and friendly place which is familyfriendly. I had the the mushroom burger with delicious sweet potato fries as a side dish. For dessert I had chocolate milkshake which was very tasty. But it is a big place, and there are only one female and one male restroom, and that is not enough for such a big place.

Awful experience.Table reservation for 7pm eventually sat down in chaotic atmosphere at 7.40pm. Food eventually on table at 8.10pm. Cheesesteak sandwich had brush bristles in it, presume from a griddle brush. Had to go back. Further ten minute wait. Eventually got edible food that was okay but not brilliant. Table was 12inches or so from a corner and my chair stuck out into the isle. Waiting staff serving and clearing tables had eight collisions with my chair without any apology. I was given a 20% discount for brush bristles but all in all the experience was awful and never again.

Typical dinner with hamburgers and chips. Good products, fast service managed by friendly and professional staff. Average price.

I am a Bronxite, so unfortunately I do not have a good opinion about the tourist eateries. I was pleasantly surprised and was overly impressed with the food our wonderful waitress Arlene and the plentiful drinks. Only think was $14 for 6 wings, even though they were good. I am looking foward to going back. I would recommend this place.

Very pleasant staff and excellent food, the location is favorable, being in proximity to many other shops and restaurants.

We loved the smashed burgers and fries. No problem getting seated. Service was, as before, impeccable. This restaurant demonstrated the same level of customer service and quality of food expected from a Landry’s restaurant.

The menu had some good options; however, they were out of a few things. The service was not very good. Our server spilled water all over the table every time she refilled our glasses, didn’t bring silverware with a salad, and didn’t buss dirty dishes off the table. The restaurant is crowded and your tables are so close together that you can barely even get up to use the restroom. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The service wasn't fantastic but the burgers sure were good. It's a little on the pricey side, but that's to be expected in NYC. The cheese fries were excellent! The location is great also.

The manager on duty George is super friendly and hands on. Always on the look out making sure we are satisfy 💯. Our server Jonathan was always aware of anything we needed and make sure our food was out on time and complete . We had an amazing time experience ams I would recommend Bill’s Bar Burger to anyone . Awful service. My wife and I stopped in just for a chocolate milkshake, and the server at the front, Balerie, was rude and dismissive. When I asked the price, she pointed at the menu and said, “Doesn’t it say it here?” The manager even admitted she’s had multiple complaints before, yet nothing has changed. Completely unprofessional — we won’t be back.

We only stopped for drinks, and it happened to be 'happy hour'. I do wonder what the point of happy hour is as the expectation was that any saving a customer would make would be passed on as tips, so therefore a lack of encouragement to purchase another drink at a better price. The service lacked personality, and good service warrents bigger tips right? Improve the customer service to gain the tips you deserve rather than rely on happy hour and customers not wanting to return.

The burgers tasted sooo good after our long day in the city! It was busy but we got a table and we could watch some sports. It was lovely and definitely coming back next time we’re in NYC again

Was craving wings so popped into Bill’s. Great buffalo wings. Lovely disco chips. Huge portion of onion rings. Warm greetings and service from Nelkin. Will come again.

Visited 10 dec 2024 with family for pre-Christmas trip. Very busy and loud inside but still good . We were seated without a reservation and served promptly . For family of four with drinks and sharing starter it was slightly over 100 pounds which isn’t too bad for New York . Overall all good and worth a visit

Stopped in for dinner with my son. Seated quickly . Great staff. Ordered triple cheeseburger and it was awesome. Shakes were also great and highly recommended. Waitress was kind and offered some ice cold waters in cup to go as it was a very Hot day. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Nelkin was great. She was very attentive and has a pleasant attitude. The food was really good and we were very happy overall.

It's got a chain feel but you are in Rockefeller center so it's all chains. Burger was decent and appreciated the extensive draft beer options. Good option if your going to top of the rock in the evening.

My wife and I visited New York for our 30th Wedding Anniversary from the UK, and so tried to ensure that every location we visited was great. Bill's Bar and Burger's did not disappoint. Close to Broadway as we going to a show after our meal. Food was excellent, and cannot thank Miller, our server, enough for the way he treated us. He made us feel as if we were his only table, even though the restaurant was full, and he was, in fact, very busy. Thanks to all the staff for making our visit very special.

We ate dinner here last night and just did a few apps - loaded nachos, chicken quesadillas and spinach dip. The portions were generous and everything was delicious. Today we sat at the bar to watch a game and had Stephanie as a bartender. She is AMAZING! Super personable and makes her busy job look easy. Between all of us we tried the cookies milkshake, burgers, patty melt, onion rings and the Santa pants drink. It was all sooooo good. Portion are huge. We could see lots of food items coming out from the kitchen and everything looked good.

Due to the good, reliable tips at TripAdvisor, we have Bill ate. We had not made a reservation, but immediately got a good place to be pointed out. The restaurant was 85% occupied. The very friendly service led us to our table. Great tips on the dishes. The food came very quickly. It tasted very good. The price-performance ratio was right, which is difficult in New York. We will come back again.

The chopped salad was great! Anabel was attentive and took great care of us. It was so nice to sit outside on a beautiful day.

If we had found this place on our first night in New York rather than our last we would have come again. Nelkin was our lovely server. Perfect for kids and adults ☺️

Terrible, don't go here if you can't eat cheese!! Waiters will just get your order complelty wrong. And honestly macdonalds burgers are far more tastier than what will be presented.

Atmosphere and retro American decoration. Excellent burgers very complete with a very varied menu. Excellent and fast service. Very nice discovery close to our hotel and Rockefeller center.

I found it for tiktok and we loved it. The food has come very fast and the stuff, especially Nelkim has been very aware of us!!

We went as a family of 4 during the holidays for a 7:15pm reservation. There was a but of a delay due to how busy it was and we were finally seated at around 7:30pm. The food was nice and the service was attentive. I'd say it's a great option for those who are looking for a casual, diner experience after a day's shopping on 5th avenue

Great spot ! We were here during busy time but got in under 20 minutes . Had a great kid menu option . I got the 3B’s it was amazing. My husband got boneless wings. The fries are shoe string and super super good !! Great spot with good service!

Beautiful surprise. We found ourselves by pure chance and were pleasantly impressed by this place, a stone's throw from 5th and Rockfeller Center. Delicious and quality burger. Staff courteous and attentive to the customer. Recommended.

Came here whilst visiting Rockefeller centre for skating. Although we booked we had to wait a while for a free table. The burgers are very large, good quality and arrived quickly. Not a great choice for desserts but note that the shakes are very thick and good enough as a pudding - we shared one and it was sufficient for two. If you don’t know the building well make sure to check the map as it can be quite confusing to orientate yourself.

Word of mouth we wanted to test this famous restaurant. But not eating beef, the choice was very limited. No wow effect on chicken burgers. The milkshake was good but decorous around which was not eaten and after trying, a little disappointed in the taste. Experience not so satisfying for the high fare. On the other hand waiter who spoke very pleasant French.

I loved the experience of an old American style restaurant. The service by Nelkin was absolutely amazing she was always friendly and kind that we had to come a second time. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Spent a few evenings in here after a days sightseeing , Happy hour 5 days a week with beers for $6 with the obligatory service charge . Food in here is the usual American fare . Order onion rings to share the chicken sandwich was the best I’ve had in ages
