Happy hour is happy 3 hours, 4-7 and it is 2 for 1, even if you are sharing so if you are in a hurry and need a quick drink with a friend you split the tab, what a deal! The food is good quail it's bar food that are decent portions, excellent wings. Most impressive is the service, bartenders and servers very attentive and they get your orders correct. It gets a little crowded during sporting events on TV, not a complaint as it is a sports bar, just an observation. Blondies, because it is owned by 3 blondes, go if you are in the neighborhood.

Went here on Saturday as soon as I got into the city since an acquaintance had been raving about it for some time now. The website says they open at 11:30 but when i got up there around 11:30 they were not open..I sat on a stoop for some time and finally decided to call them and see if maybe they changed their hours. The person i spoke with said they would be open in about 10 minutes. I walked around the block and by the time i got back they were open and the bartender was immediately super friendly and very talkative. We chatted for a bit and I put my order in. I was very pleased to hear they would do all flats and no drumsticks. Some places can be picky about this. i ordered ten crispy and after a while of them not coming out I knew they were cooking them the right way. They were absolutely perfect when they came out and I could not have been more pleased. While waiting for the food to come out, another patron walked in and those two got to laughing about the previous night. The newcomer stated she was here all night and was just waking up now. She wasn't planning on going in but as she was walking by she sort of just drifted right in. She was super chatty as well and not in an annoying way at all. The other waitress who was working was also very friendly and the 4 of us had a great conversations throughout my entire meal. I wish i lived closer or in the city because this place would be a regular spot for me. The food and drinks were moderately priced. The wings were a little on the steep side, but that's kind of what i expect whenever i go into the city. A+ all around and will absolutely go back the next time i'm in the city.

Home of the absolute best wings in North America

I only go here when I have a friend in from London as it's the place to go for excellent wings - which we both love. The staff is friendly and the beer is cold. And did I mention the wings were excellent!! The only issue I have is the tables are a bit tight - or I'm getting fatter from eating too many wings.

We found this bar on trip advisor, and decided to go to give the wings a try! What a great choice! Don't be put off by the locals, as they will welcome you like family! We arrived at happy hour which was a welcome surprise! The bartender was friendly and really made us feel at home. We only meant to stop for an hour but ended up staying for around 4hrs plus! We are here for 5 days but will make sure we visit again on Weds before we leave! If you are in NYC give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!

This was a great time. I came for the Sunday night football game so the rush was not so bad by the end of the first qtr. The service was great. Had wings beer waffle frys and beer. Wings were not the best but were way better then average. The waffle fries were crazy good. Must come back

I went to Blondies for a second time as our Alumni Association meets at the bar for the football games and had a really nice time. I have to say that their food on game day is a little pricey. They could have some Happy Hour specials but still when they do serve food they give you a very generous portion. Their chicken fingers are large, well-cooked and they give you more then enough in a small portion for a meal. Their bartender knows how to mix a drink as well. Still, it should not cost $30.00 for an appetizer and drink. The service with such a large crowd is very attentive and gets the food out quickly. It really acts like a college bar.

I travel a lot in the USA for business but this was my girlfriend's first visit to the States so I had a look for good wing places online and Blondies came highly recommended. We were not disappointed. We arrived and grabbed a table and the waitress appeared pretty quickly for our drinks order. We weren't sure how many wings to order so went for 10 each and a portion of waffle fries to share with cheese on the side. The wings were amazing. We had the medium which were your standard buffalo sauce and a portion of garlic too. The garlic ones were nice, not something I'd have ordered on my own so I was glad my other half did. The bar itself is nice enough with a large number of TVs on the wall for watching sport, but not intrusively so. It's a little out of the way on 79th but it's totally worth the trip. Will probably come back here when I'm next in town if I fancy wings.

I love this bar, the food, atmosphere and people are really terrific. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the patrons are all really friendly too.

We were the youngest people in here. The crowd was about 21-30. We ordered beer and wings. It's a sportsbar kind of atmosphere. I'd go back for wings but nothing else

Blondies is my go to spot for wings. It's a no-frills sports bar, but it has everything you need. I am not a self-proclaimed wing expert, but these wings are clearly in another league. Make sure to order some waffle fries as well, which are crazy good--I would also recommend the cheese sauce. It can get a little crowded, and you may have to sit very close to strangers, but it's a sport bar--that is expected. I always have a good time at Blondies. I would highly recommend.

We went to Blondie's on a recent NYC trip in search of some good buffalo wings and we were not disappointed. The bar is advertised as a sports bar so I was expecting neon lights, huge tv's big open space and sports memorabilia etc etc. I was surprised to walk in at lunch time and the place was dark and empty and a bit old fashioned looking. I nearly walked out but so glad I never. The wings were amazing, and the sweet potato fries also deserve a mention. We shared 20 wings I think plus a small (it was still big) coleslaw which was fresh and tasty plus the single portion of sweet potato fries and it was more than enough for two. With 3 pints of Stella (which was very reasonably priced) the bill was around $70 and well worth it. I don't often visit places twice, especially in a city like new york with hundreds of places to try but I think that on my next visit I might just make an exception.....

We have been here twice on our trips to NYC, the wings are delicious! We also highly recommended the cheese wafer fries & the portions are massive... !

OHHHH SAME AS ANY OTHER BAR!

It takes the staff at Blondies a New York Minute to discern that you are not a local. And what this means is that you are subject to on-the-fly changes in rules and costs for your drinks. One day's Happy Hour specials are suddenly full price at Happy Hour the next day. Similarly a proper pint of beer can become a smaller solo cup sized pour but at full price. Unless you are a regular, go someplace else.

I love coming to Blondies for the football and basketball games. The Michigan State Alumni always get the back room and we have the best time. We WON! The food and the service here are really good. I always have their bucket of Chicken Tenders which must be at least two breast that are freshly breaded and then deep fried to a crisp exterior. The dipping sauces really make the tenders zing. It is just a fun atmosphere and a nice way to spend the afternoon watching the games.

Came here after a movie right as the horse race was ending. There were 9 of us and we were able to get a seat pretty quickly. Orders some beer and wings and they came pretty fast. The honey bbq wings are awesome and everything was reasonable.

Hm.....this was a dissapointment. There were very few people in the restaurant at lunch on a weekday, which should have told us something. The food was quite .... well, between 'poor' and 'average'. There were about 35 televisions in the place, but they were all showing the same soccer match. Soccer isn't riveting every second. It would have been nice to at least have another event to occasionally glance at.

Blondies is a classic sports bar. They serve some of the best chicken wings in city. Great place to go to watch a game. Football weekends are very popular and they show all the games on their 20+ tv's. This sports has been around for 20+ years for a reason...it's a good place.

We popped into Blondies as it was just across from our hotel. We had previously been here for food on our first day in New York. The service was excellent and we were made very welcome. I love Ice Hockey and it was on the TV screens along with other forms of American sports. A great last night. Would recommend as a great bar.

We went to the Blondies sports bar to watch rugby union on TV, Australia vs England. We also enjoyed a good lunch and drinks. We recommend this bar to you, particularly if you want to enjoy watching sport on TV.

This place has the best wings in the city and is an all-around great sports bar. You should plan to go early as it gets packed

Blondie's has amazing waffle fries and buffalo wings! The sizes are massive and reasonably priced and the staff were really nice as well. Thanks so much!

My hjsband absolutelly loves their hot wings...he says the sauce is very unique, so we endured traffic, tolls and cold weather to go get some...he was in heaven! I enjoyed the music and even danced on my seat the whole time. Service was great. Lots of tvs showing different games. I only ate the veggies and a chicken nugget...they were great. We were able to find free parking right in front for our 2 vehicles so it was great!!

good service. Foods fine. Like the beer. Yuengling!

Travelling from Australia - we found this amazing bar straight opposite our accommodation. The service was impeccable, even asking for food at midnight - nothing was a hassle to the staff. Peter was an absolute gem.

This is a great sports bar for Big Ten fans, particularly those of MSU in East Lansing, Michigan. You can find alumni here on football Saturdays and can watch the game with fellow Spartans. The food is good and service terrific. Go Green!!

Monday Night Football with the Giants playing. Great atmosphere and, although busy, great and personable service from the bar staff. We had the Wings - double order, medium hot - and they were delicious. May go back tonight!

I had been to blondies a few years back and thought the wings were good.. Not the best in the city butgood enough for me to want to come back. This last time the service was absolutely terrible and the food was pretty much inedible except the wings. To start, our waitress forgot our drinks and had us sitting there 20 minutes without return. Once she was back she said 'oh my bad, drinks this round on us', and it took another 10 minutes! I had kids with me who were ravaged so the wait was excruciating just to even order and the place was far from full. We finally ordered (2) 1/2 racks of ribs, wings and nachos. I asked for the nachos to come as an appetizer and then the rest of the food after. Another 20 minutes later, all the food came together. The nachos were cold and the cheese on it was velveta. I tried to suck it up but at that point after tasting the nachos I sent hem back as it was cold and inedible. My kids who pretty much eat any type of ribs had a few bites and didn't eat much more due to the amount of sauce globbed on. They were totally drenched. They weren't even hot..only warm. The cornbread that came with it was tasteless and dry. For $18 it's a rip off. I was also surprised how mild the hottest buffalo sauce they had was. I like it real hot and came away unsatisfied in my quest for real spice. Lastly, the waitress brought me a beer on the house again which I didn't even want. (I didn't finish the first beer!) the wet wipes to wash hands were dry.. It was truly a comical night. It's safe to say we won't ever be back.

The menu here proudly states that Zagat rates Blondies as having some of the best wings in NYC. I certainly agree and this is the main attraction for a relatively small sports bar in the Upper West Side. I went along with a couple of friends for a beer or two after work. There was still a table or two available on a Tuesday night even with a ball game on TV. Bar staff were friendly and made sure we had the best deal on beers, offering a pitcher for the same price as three regular beers. The wings were delicious as expected. I would recommend taking at least the 'Hot' level sauce as the 'Mild/Medium' are relatively plain. It's also worth having a side of the 'Ouch' if you're feeling more adventurous. If you want to go for blowout on the food get a Meltdown, their signature burger, with a side of wings. All in, simple but enjoyable place with great wings and cheap beer. Perfect for watching a game on one of their wall of TVs.

This place has been a regular go to for me for 30 years, since its original location on 77th. A great place for sports watching and bar food eating. Better than average wings and burgers, super convenient location. congrats to Jill for keeping it real in the hood since the 80s.

Make a reservation is your attending on good sport event such as Sunday football. Ton of seating with plenty of Flatscreen with various team games. I don’t recommend the sliders as they are microwave “white castle”. The wings are truly good!!! Overall great experience.

Your basic sports bar...TV...wings, ribs, pizza, fries and onion rings, cute waitresses... This place does a lot of it well. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was in the basement of a frat house or something, but the food was good. We got like 30 wings and fries and they came out piping hot and fresh. we got 'scorching' and they were spicy but not so hot that you couldn't eat them. If I am ever on the UWS for an extended stay, I would try it again.

I stopped at Blondies Sports Bar for a beer – served very cold and delicious – and an order of chicken wings. They were superb. Service was excellent, and I enjoyed checking out several different sports.

It's a sports bar, a bit dated. Very casual place. Very popular, especially when there is a game on. It serves its purpose well as a sport bar.

For what it is, it's terrific. Went there to watch hockey and have dinner. Friendly place. Lively. Good sight lines. Pretty standard sports bar menu. Affordable.

My wife and I aren’t from NYC but any time we’re in the city, we have to go to Blondie’s. It’s a nice bar with delicious food. We always make a special trip to the Upper West Side just to stop here. Friendly staff and very clean area, we love this spot!

I went into Blondies to watch the Michigan State vs Ohio State basketball game and have to say that it is a lot of fun to watch the game at Blondies. There are TVs all over the place so you can see the game from every direction. The food is pretty good but typical bar food. I was hungry but not really hungry. So I ordered some pigs in a blanket and a Coke. The little hot dogs were good but for the time they took and the price I thought it was on the expensive side. You can buy a box of these things at the supermarket for $5.00 and they charged $12.95 for a dozen. I thought that was a little much. They were good and all but a little pricey. Still they were good. The service is very professional and friendly and they leave you alone to watch the game. The place can get rowdy and there is a lot of excitement in the air when the games are going on. It is a lot of fun when you want to be with a crowd of people.

Actually 2 different areas - a bar and a restaurant Both have TVs wherever you look!! Visiting from England, we were interested in both American and UK sports. Visiting multiple times over 3 days, they were always very flexible about putting all the sports we were interested in on screens near us. Great food and drink as well. Wide choice, huge portions and reasonably priced.

And they mainly revolve around the fact that I got to watch my Ohio State Buckeyes pound Michigan, to the dismay of Wolverines sitting nearby. The food was good and the service solid - wings appeared to be the speciality. Waffle fries were also excellent. Bar management was strong in making sure the game was on all the TVs with no hitches. I would definitley watch another event here.

Ever since I found this place it has never disappointed. It offers an extensive beer list but has a full bar. But the hidden gem are the hot wings!!! They are the best wings I have ever eaten & trust me when I say I have eaten plenty. They are the perfect combination of crispy and moist and the sauce is spot on. They also make some amazing home made pretzels. Oh and I forgot to mention its a great sports bar that is home to many teams! check out their website for more details. It is a must try for wing lovers and beer enthusiasts.

Got lots of screens to keep everybody informed about all the games in the league at once. Highest number of screens I've seen in Manhattan actually! Not very polished place and a bit raw - but great atmosphere and very nice and dedicated staff. Be prepared to sit or stand very close on important game nights. Reservations recommended.

Great place to watch a sporting event, to snack and drink with friends. an upper west side institution.

My venture into this local bar was very enjoyable. Bartender from Appleton, WI (can't recall her name) was awesome. All employees and customers made me feel very welcome even tho I was from Boston. Went there twice while in UWS and enjoyed both times. Great beer selection, good drinks and fair prices for NYC! Great wings!!!

After a hard day of playing tour guide it was nice to sit, rest, enjoy visiting with friends and have a delicious meal. We had their wonderful wings and the most excellent chicken wrap. We had to sit at the bar because there was a fantasy football league in the main dining area. The bartender was very attentive and the overall service was fantastic. I can't wait to get back to the city so I can go back for another meal. :)

This had been my first time to Blondie's having heard about it through our Alumni Association as a place we met for the football and basketball games. I had a nice time. The bartender was really nice and very patient with the crowd of people that were in the bar. The drink she made for me had some kick and she did not skip on anything and the chicken finger appetizer was very large and you got six really well cooked freshly made fingers with two dipping sauces. I was bummed when they ran out of the smores but I had more than enough to eat. Overall it is a nice place and is what it is a neighborhood watering hole for lots of noisy sports fans. If you want serious food in a quiet atmosphere, this is not the place for you.

Love this place. Definitely an UWS staple. Great place to watch games or just hang with friends. Staff is always friendly. Great for lunch.

This loud sports bar offers lots of flat screens, beer and chicken wings, but today I saw a large "C" posted, meaning that their establishment has multiple health code violations. Even sloppy chicken wings should be prepared in a sanitary kitchen, but that's obviously not the case here. In New York City, a "C" rating means 28 violation points, not just one or two. Serious. Why would anyone eat here? It's a health risk. Of course, who knows if the beer glasses are clean, either?

While the people that worked at the hostess station were super friendly, there were problems with the food and service. The food was sub par at best - knowing its bar food of course. I had the grilled smothered boneless chicken strips and they were rubbery and bone thin - ick. The guac was runny and I waited about 30 mins for a beer I had ordered. The place could use a spiffing up and deep cleaning but I was sitting down so for that I cannot complain.

Typically have had great experiences at Blondie's with my main man Big J. We typically sit at the same booth, feeling so at home. One time, we entered and the restaurant was fairly empty. We asked for the unoccupied booth, but was told it was for three or more. We indicated we'd be there for quite some time and would easily spend the amount of three guests. We were still denied then later the hostess sat two people in the booth right in front of us. We have not been back since.

Accommodated a group of 15 with a reservation. Not too crowded until 7pm. Great attentive service and good drinks. Excellent buffalo wings and sweet potato fries! Trivial Pursuit and Sports bar heaven.....tvs everywhere! Oh and did I mention all you can eat wings on Monday night for $19 per person? See you for MNF!

These are the best wings in NYC. They have multiple flavors but traditional buffalo wings are big and come drenched in sauce. Monday Night is all you can eat wings. Other items like waffle fries & mozz sticks are great as well. Also have plenty of TV's to catch your favorite team! It's a must go!

We stumbled across Blondies and kept coming back. This place was made by the Bartenders/Owner - Ken/Mike and Jill were why we are planning anohter trip to NYC. Thank you for the fun time. We loved the Pickle Juice and Jameson's Shots as well as the Bubble gum Vodka and Sprite! If you want a nice relaxing place to hang out go here. the food was on par with the service! Thank you again and can't wait to see you guys again soon!

Great service (which is far from normal in NYC bars...) with lots of beers and TV screens. Good food. Always seems to be busy which makes for a great atmosphere. I can't wait to return.

As many west coasters know, it's not easy sometimes to find your team on cable systems while traveling back east. I was trying to find the Angel game while staying in Manhattan on business back in April. After the concierge called a few places without success, Blondies said they would have the game. Had to walk several blocks, but it was worth it. The channel the Angels were on was not a normal selection, but they found it for me and put it on a nice HD set. There's a good selection of beverages. The cheeseburger I had was pretty decent... not standout, but was just what I wanted to enjoy with the game. Patty behind the bar made me feel like a friend - I'm surprised I still recall her name after several weeks. Open late enough to catch the end of most west coast games. I will definitely seek out Blondies on future trips whenever my teams are playing.

Blondie's touts their chicken wings as among the best in New York, so there's a challenge to begin with and it is well met - flavorful, meaty wings with just the right zip. This is a friendly place to walk in to, and for the upper west side of NYC it seems quite the popular neighborhood spot. Some have compared it to Cheers, but it's probably three times the size of the original Cheers in Boston and loses the intimacy for it. But the feeling is neighborhood friendly, and somehow the mixture of sports on 12 screens while music blares everything from Garth Brooks to Def Leppard works. No drama here, just friendly barkeeps over-pouring drinks and an odd mix of glass ware and plastic cups. Clean speed wells and back bar area, patrons of every demographic, and the place seems to just be coming alive at midnight - apparently the late night "go to" in the area. Nothing special, but very comfortable and just the ticket for late night on the upper west side. A bit pricey, but what isn't in New York?

Simple, good, no frills place. The wings are delicious and huge... we couldn't finish what we ordered.

Good basic bar food and drinks at good value. We like to eat here often especially with groups. Very pretty, friendly staff too!

I may regret this, since this is my favorite sports hangout - especially on Fall football weekends when I’m visiting my daughter in NYC. It’s only a few blocks north of her apartment on 71st so it’s a pleasant walk up Broadway or Amsterdam. The staff is always friendly and helpful – prices aren’t bad for NYC and they have plenty of TV screens. One of them will have your favorite NFL or College game on, so there’s no worries in that respect. It can get pretty crowded, too – so be there when the doors open if you want to sit at the bar or avoid standing later. The food is excellent; my personal favorite is the Southwest Egg Rolls w/Guacamole – I can practically inhale a plate full of these. Wings are among the best, too. Portions are generous. They have a nice selection of beers on tap, too. Crowd can be boisterous during games, but remains friendly, whether their teams are winning or losing. Clearly one of the best sports bars in the city – especially for out-of-town visitors.

Found this a very convenient place to go. The food was good New York bar food and none the worse for that. For this part of town this is one of the better places to watch a game whether it is baseball or ice hockey...

Blondies these is the place to visit with friends to watch the game, drank a few beers, eat great wings and cheer your team to victory. The staff works hard to make sure that everyone gets seated and that games are spirited fun. just be ready to go to let the next group in for their game. Service was fast and friendly but they want the next group in behind you to have a chance to. I'll be back again with all my friends next game.

Very good wings and chicken tenders...large portions and very tasty. My boyfriend and I had a taste for some wings so I made a suggestion to come to this place since I had been here before. The food is really good and the drinks decent. My only issue is the wear and tear at this place- it gives it a creepy feeling. I definitely recommend the food but the dining area needs a makeover. It's pretty pricey too....so prepare to spend some bucks!

we found this bar not far from our hotel, what a gem of a place really is a great place.staff are so friendly as are the locals we went into this bar most evenings as happy hour from 4-7 cocktails are great and plenty to choose from.meals were good selection and value for money this a must visit.

Good place to watch a game. Typical bar fare.

Hands down the best wings in NYC. A great place to watch football on Sundays now that it's back (almost), just be sure to here early as the place fills up quickly. Otherwise, it's a great little sports bar on the UWS with tons of TVs and plenty of beer on tab.

Just a normal sports bar.....food was good...tap beer not very cold...switched to bottles.....location good for upper west side....

We stumbled into the restaurant just walking around trying to find a place. We were pleasantly surprised. They had great wings and awesome potato salad. We tried the pretzels and they were standard, it didn't blow your socks off. But, the food was reasonably priced and the service was fast and friendly. They also have an all you can eat wing night on monday for I think around $14 a person. They also had many televisions with lots of sports. I think it would be a great atmosphere to watch any game.

Best wings in town

The wings are incredible. If you are in the mood for something heavier, the meltdown is the way to go. This bar is popular and gets real crowded on Sundays for football season. Ice luge for the Super Bowl. Great food, friendly staff and always a fun atmosphere for sporting events.

I always enjoy going to Blondies. Our New York Alumni Association for Michigan State has an arrangement with them and we have the back room for the days of the basketball and football games. It is nice to meet up with the other Alumni for a snack while watching the game. Their chicken fingers are really good and I really like the with the dipping sauces. They are well fried out and the portion sizes are very fair. Their service is also very friendly and prompt. It is a nice place to watch the sports games.

Top bar, very welcoming for 11 jet lagged Brits for food and drink and then a brilliant night for last night grown up drinks x prices very good, service impeccable and very warm and welcoming. This city has proved to be the place that bucks the trend as far as US service goes but this bar was just brilliant xx

Just a great all around sports bar. Big screen TVs galore. Spicy wings and drinks and good friends is all you need here. I didn't hang out at the bar, but the ruckus that came from the area, suggested the people were enjoying themselves there too. The servers were nice and approached with good sense. No one was trying to throw the bill at you 10 mins after clearing your plate. Its a very relaxing spot, that patronizes all types of fun characters.

Where to begin? I have been going to this place for over 30 plus years. I was introduced back when I was in high school, it was then at another location. The first time tried it I was hooked, their wings are amazing. Out of all the places in the city, that has always been my place of choice. For my bridal shower I wanted wings from Blondies because that was also were we met on our first date. Long story short, I now have three children and they all know Blondies and take their friend there. So today, I am ordering a party plater for my little girl that is now 16. That is what she requested. So, to all my family and friends, it has become a tradition, not only to them but to their family and friends. This place has run the test of time. Forever in our hearts and bellies.

After a very depressing Michigan State loss, I have to say that the food and service here is very uplifting. I really love their chicken fingers which are not the standard chicken strips. These chicken fingers are more like mini chicken cutlets, fried perfectly and served with three sauces. The small order is more than enough for a meal. Blondies serves a lot of deep fried foods so if you are looking to count calories this is not the place for you. If you like great bar food in a high energy space with everyone yelling, screaming and moaning, then you will feel very comfortable on game day. I have always found the service here to be very friendly and personal for such a busy bar. They know how to run a restaurant.

Amazing wings. Try the waffle fries. Not to mention they have a million flat screen TVs to watch any game.

this is a no frills but fun sports bar on the UWS. The crowd is generally friendly and there is a lot of space, so you can go with groups of all different sizes. the food is bar food...it gets better every beer.

Was here for 6 hours last Saturday watching every college football game possible. It's definitely a Northwestern bar, so beware you big 10 people. Tons of beers on tap, and the wings are worth it as well. Great spot.

Went to Blondies for their Friday night regular trivia show. The questions were a mix of easy and tough. Got the corn bread, which was excellent. The sweet potato fries were also quite good. If you are on the Upper West Side and looking for trivia on a Friday night, well this is the place to go -- literally, there were no other trivia games anywhere in NYC.

How long has it been since my last Blondie experience? A YEAR!!! I am devastated since then. The lack of Buffalo Wings in my life has never been the same again. No other place can top Blondies. And, did I mention those Waffle Fries? A must for those yet to experience at Blondies. The variety of flavors for the Buffalo Wings are tasty. Anywhere from none to FIREY HOT wings. The nicely sliced carrots and celery are cut to perfection. This place can become crowded 7 days a week. Therefore, making a reservation on the same day can be a bit weary. The place is great. Atmosphere is great. You're surrounded b so many large Plasma TV's. What is there not to like?

We chose this restaurant because it had such good reviews regarding the wings. I am a wings pro and those were pretty good. Not the best in New York, but def in the top list. On the other side, I have two things that I would complain about: First, they add 18% gratuity on All you can eat Wings-Day. Don't get me wrong, I really like to tip, but 18% is a little bit too much for a service provided by those waitresses which brings me to the second point. I am sure they all know that their tip is already added to the bill which means they put no effort in making your service a good one. Our waitress turned away everything we talked to her. Gave us an annoying look when we ordered another round of wings and worst of all didn't tell us that there are no refills on the sodas. That was just a very bad service and 18% gratuity is definitely wrong!!! I will not return to this place. There are many other good places for wings!

The wings here are great. If there were more sports bars on the UWS this place would go under. The space is horrible. Sure there are a ton of televisions but most are small. Tables are also packed closely together. The chicken Philly sandwich was disgusting. Service here was not good. Take a cab and go to a better sports bar outside of the UWS.

Went with my family of 10 today to blondies. We had burgers chicken wings and chicken tenders. The food was great and the service fair. It took a long time to receive our food when we did it was excellent. The price was reasonable. A place to visit on the Upper West Side . The great place to eat with kids.

I came to Blondies to watch the Michigan State versus Rutgers game and did we get clobbered! What a night! What made up for it was my dinner while watching the game. I ordered a cheeseburger platter with fries, and it hit the spot. It was about 18 degrees outside, but the burger really warmed me up. It was cooked perfectly, juicy on the inside and caramelized on the outside which gave it a nice crust. The service was a little slow as the North Carolina fans were coming in for the Duke game (they lost too) but still it was a nice night to relax and warm up. It is a great place to sit back and be a supportive Alumni.

Watched the 2016 Copa America semifinal between USA and Argentina here. Totally OK - best spots are at the bar themselves. Plenty of screens, service is quick.

Great wings. Used to be a great hang out 10 years ago, now it is just an other sportsbar.

Friendly bar staff, ice cold beer, delicious wings. Great camaradarie among the patrons, good natured bantering about the college football games on TV

We've been coming to this place on a regular basis for many years. Nice bar, good athmosphere, good value. But now! OMG!!! What happened? The prices have sort of doubled, the place is disgusting, smelly and very unclean. We'll not go there anymore and suggest that, if you read this, you don't either.

Classic wings and fries kind of place. Can get a little loud when the music cranks up late or there are a lot of folks there for a football game watch party, but the food is good bar food and the people are nice.

We just happened upon this place. They have a bunch of TV's and the afternoon we were there New York was playing hockey, baseball and basketball. They had all of the games on. The place was packed with locals having a great time.

We only visited on the off chance hoping to see an EPL game. The place was quite full with a buzzy atmosphere. We sat in a booth and our waitress arranged for the football/soccer match to be shown on our screen straight away. We decided to eat as the food going out to other diners looked good. I had wings with a medium sauce, which was still fairly spicy! My first experience of New York style chicken wings and I wasn't disappointed. Fresh chicken, really tasty sauce with carrots, celery and blue cheese on the side. Also a good range of beers and great service.

Service was fast and friendly. Food was tasty, beer was cold.

In NYC for the weekend and looking for a sports bar to watch an MSU football game. Blondie's is the place. Friendly staff, a room at the back for MSU Alum, an attentive waitress. What more could you ask for? Grill was out the day we were there so food options were limited, but you can expect good ole reliable bar food. A fun place.

We visited this restaurant as we'd read the buffalo wings were great and they were. I don't eat meat, but my husband enjoyed his plate of wings and said they were crispy, had plenty of sauce and good heat (although he picked 'hot' out of a range of eight sauces and said he could easily have gone hotter). He also enjoyed throwing the bones into the bucket. The only downside to the meal were the wafer fries, we'd have preferred straight cut ones. I enjoyed a nice veggie chilli, the smaller cup size was just right for me. Although we didn't go there to watch the sport, it seemed great if you did want to watch as literally every seat in the restaurant faces multiple TV screens and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

For day tourists who need a reward for being a good "sport" and seeing all the sights on the Central Park tourist itinerary, stop here for a drink and watch your favorite game - or all possible games!! I felt comfortable with the locals who clearly love their sports. It was college football season and everyone was in their colors. I thought the atmosphere was fun We wanted bar food and got exactly that. Excellent wings, football and good cold beer all while resting our feet for the remainder of the day.

I prefer McAleer's and Brother Jimmy's over this place. For some reason, I never feel that Blondie's is really clean, including in the rest rooms. I used to go here occasionally, but there are much better options for both food and drink and sports bars in the area.

When you walk into Blondies you'll instantly think that you walked into just another "NYC typical sports bar" with one major difference, Blondies absolutely has the best wings in NYC. I was in the city, staying at the Times Square Weston (which, if anyone is familiar with the city would know is no where near Blondies) and I asked the concierge for a good bar to grab a drink and some wings and she instantly replied blondies. The Bar: to sum up the bar, it's a typical NYC sports bar with a small Irish influence. The Food: all typical bar food, all good except for... The Wings: the absolute best. While it will take them a good 5 minutes to make them, Blondies' wings fall off the bone, and are not just dipped in sauce but are marinated in them as well. I'm not sure how they do them, but Hooters better watch out as Blondies wings are gaining popularity at an alarming rate. With the family? Due to the overcrowding and heavy drinking, this is not a sports bar to take the kids.

I was pleasantly surprised by Blondie's. I am a Buffalo New York native so I am pretty picky about my buffalo wings. I thought they were awesome! Got a pitcher of beer that was pretty reasonable for NYC prices. Also ordered the waffle fries! YUM! Would definitely go back! The service was a little slow at times, but nothing alarming! One of my friends spilled a beer by accident and our waitress kindly brought us another beer free of charge! And someone came with a mop right away! Definitely a nice little dive bar, will hopefully go back sooon!

crazy nights took place here
Best wings EVER
Second trip to this bar and the wings are unreal. I also went to Buffalo after to the bar which serves the 'best wings' and they are not a patch on these. Wings are amazing - also love the waffle fries with chilli. Even my sister loved the wings and she doesn't normally like meat!
