Walk in and it looks like a great bar, great atmosphere! after a few minutes, order a drink and get a micro and I mean micro pour. I watched locals come in and great service, great drink pours not metered. I ask the bar tender why did you short me so much on my drink? He grabs my glass, adds some whiskey so I thought he was making up for the way short pour but when I got my bill I noticed he charged me for a double. Stay away from Bond 45, drinks are weak, food quality, subpar!

Went to this at the recommendation of a friend. We asked them to stop recommending it. Nice place, server was friendly. Food and quality control are sorely lacking. Both entrees sent back. Not corrected. Ordered the lasagna, supposedly a chef's creation. lasagna noodles wrapped vertically around meatballs, sauce and cheese. First time out, the noodles were soggy and the whole dish was cold. It didn't take long to get there, plopped down right as they took away our appetizers. Made when ordered? obviously not. Sent it back. When it returned it appeared to have been put under a broiler or heat element. The noodles were now dark brown crispy at the top edges and the tomato sauce had darkened and reduced. To make it worse, when tried one of the meatballs inside it was still cold. Make one mistake, ok, but make another just shows lack of respect for the customer. It was not 'remade'. The cheese was scraped off, the plate put under heat and re-served like we wouldn't notice. Shame on the kitchen. Other entree was fettuccine with shrimp. It had to go back also as it was cold. It appears both the appetizer and entree tickets were put in at the same time, then the entrees sat out until we finished our appetizers. Who was running the kitchen? No serious chef would let this pass. At the table next to us, a woman sent back her pasta with meat sauce. Cold. Our server said she told her manager. No one came to our table to address the deficiencies. No one. So one of two things is clear. Either the server did NOT tell her manager, lied to us, or the manager was told and did not care. Did not care that the kitchen was turning out substandard fare, did not care about the customer, did not care about the restaurant's reputation. These were easy things to fix, and employees chose not to fix them.

Went for a meal this evening, waiter wasn’t great seemed an effort to be there and said cheers all the time which was a reflection of how he behaved. Not attentive, mains came out whilst eating starters still, carbonara was served with black burnt bacon I sent back as tasted awful, he returned with another one no apology just put in front of me, another waiter cleared plates, had to ask for more drinks as not attentive as previously mentioned 1 garlics bread 1 lasagne 1 vodka & lemonade 2 x beers $126 Very average meal, service rubbish , maybe just have a drink at the bar as that looked good Disappointing overall

This restaurant is a tourist trap. There are many other Italian Restaurants in the area that are much better. The food is not good and very expensive for what you get. The homemade pastas are tough and flavorless. Try the Tricolori Trattoria on 47th or better yet, 1 Novello on 55th.

I ordered the lasagna, but it arrived cold and lacked flavor. I had visited this restaurant on December 26, 2024, (to celebrate my daughter's birthday) and had enjoyed fantastic service and delicious food, despite the crowd. I was eager to bring my team here since they love Italian cuisine, and this place was conveniently close to our accommodations. Unfortunately, the waiter never returned to check on us after taking our order. I managed to get his attention to request a second glass of lemonade. Another waiter noticed my meal sitting untouched and asked how everything was. When I mentioned that my food was cold, he responded with an, "oh no, who's your…" but was interrupted when the original waiter approached us. I explained again that my food was cold, and as he asked if we wanted it boxed up, he offered to bring the manager over to help. I agreed, but guess what? The manager never showed up. I ended up leaving the uneaten food behind. As we were heading out, I saw that waiter standing near the door with someone I assumed was another manager; they looked our way but didn't say a word as we left. I can confidently say I will never recommend this restaurant again.

Value for money place, we went there as walk ins and we didnt regret it, very good service, and good food, we would come back. Nice vibes too!

I was not as happy with the food as I thought I would be. But the waiter was amazing and made the entire experience very memorable. He was very funny and really knew his stuff. Talked to us on a personal level and made us feel so comfortable.

Had a pre-Valentine's day dinner here before going to a play on Broadway. Great food. Only a short walk to the theaters. Service was wonderful.

We had the Thanksgiving menu. The aperitif didn't come until prompted. The gorgonzola on the pear turned out to be sheep cheese and the turkey unfortunately tasted rancid. After 60 minutes we were cleared and immediately got the bill. The other people at the neighbouring tables were also dissatisfied. In the end, we were 200 euros off. Wouldn't we do it again.

My daughter and I ate here last night during our stay in NY. This is a superb Restaurant, excellent menu, good prices, brilliant service.Lovely atmosphere too.

My husband I stopped off before going to our hotel room in the bar area - staff friendly - cheapest bottle of wine $60 - server very good. Enjoyed.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner before our Broadway show. We had the Porterhouse for two and hands down the best steak we have ever had. So tender and tasty.. our server, Luis, was phenomenal!

The dining room lacks ambiance with hard wooden chairs, small rickety tables, and slightly harsh lighting. decent Italian food in, servers used to the theater crowd. The bar area is nicer.

Convenient, in the middle of the theatre district, honored our reservation time despite major crowds. They asked us what time our show was so that they could facilitate our throughout and they were very attentive to allergies.

Don't believe the Breakfast Buffet signs, they haven't offered a breakfast buffet for a couple of years. We saw the sign from the Marriott and went in. The breakfast we ordered was fine, but we felt like victims of a bait and switch.

Good Service, values in line with the sector, good portions, very nice place. Excellent. If I wanted to criticize something, I saw only one unisex bathroom.

4 people. 1 fish dinner, 2 pasta and 1 lasagna. Those who had the fish and pasta said the food was good. I had the lasagna and should have sent it back. It was served is a cast iron skillet and kept cooking. The result was a heavy, glutenous mass of overcooked lasagna sheets. To its credit, the flavor was fine. Advice - DO NOT ORDER LASAGNA AT BOND 45 !!!!!!

Visited for Christmas Day breakfast. Great atmosphere and service. Staff attentive. Food delicious, huge portions, good coffee. Would highly recommend.

First evening in New York and beginning of many Italian meals. Veal was pretty good. They had patted it out very thin so seemed over cooked to me. Still the meal was very acceptable. Staff helpful and attentive. Nice Atmosphere.

Bond 45 is a quiet getaway in the hustle and bustle of a busy nyc theater district. The best thing is the matron de - it was outstanding. They took one look at our mobility challenges and made a seat immediately for us (without reservations). The main dishes wee average but the antipasto was the real treat.

Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. Pepperoni pizza and Veal Parm were a huge hit. Would def recommend.

Wonderful food, and great wait staff. We split an avacado quiona salad and spaghetti carbonara and it was a perfect amount.

We were happy that the back section of this busy restaurant was somewhat quieter than the front. Our server was professional and friendly and the food was good to excellent. The vegetable platter was outstanding and a welcome change for our vegetarian daughter. The dessert servings were large while the pastas were on the skimpy side.

Excellent food and service! Lemon chicken and goat cheese bruschetta were delicious! Service accommodated tight timeline for show.

Nice place, quiet although so close to Times square. Ideal at the end of the day if you live at the Edison Hotel. Impeccable pizza and good choice of Italian wines. There is probably better in Little Italy but it is further away.

Wonderful dinner for 6 after seeing a show. Had the gorgonzola loaf, 2 fish dinners, 3 pasta dinners and 1 chicken dinner as well as some very tasty meatballs (appetizer) and cocktails. Had a fantastic meal, service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Will be returning for sure!!

Great location for brunch before a show, All the usual favorites are here and are well prepared, Service is efficient and the food is tasty. I had a sampler of roasted vegetables and was well pleased.

This was a good dinner before a show. The service was fast. Appetizer was ok, my main course Carbonera was excellent and desserts were sublime!

I absolutely love the chicken parmigiana with pepperoni! It’s a definite must in NYC! We had the best waiter, Stephon, and not only was he super attentive and knowledgeable but he helped us make our next tourist plan to see local secret sunset highlights instead of run of the mill crowded tourist traps. We really appreciated him and will be back to hopefully meet him again!

We dined here for breakfast with a coupon. Exceptional breakfast and the food at Bond 45 is always great!

Excellent service in a charismatic bar. Ava was super informative about the bill - enlightened me on US style calling for the check and tipping on receipts. Really fantastic and I used the advice the following day. Ava recommended an amazing Cheesecake too!

We came here Christmas Eve was a lovely restaurant with plenty to choose from there marinara sauce with the calamari was to die for recommend to book

fantastic service from staff , friendly welcome, the decor of the restraunt itself was really nice and very clean. We all had the steak chips & veg, steak was cooked to perfection no fat on it what so ever. Very pleased with visit, stayed in the hotel next door as visiting from england & just come across this place would 100% reccomend to anyone staying in NYC worth every penny.

Stopped in for a pre-show drink. Kasha pointed us to a couple of house specialty cocktails and they were amazing. This bar was hoping, serving the bar and the cocktails for the restaurant. We had such a great time chatting and just watching the scene. We'll be back!

“If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The appetizers, entrees and dessert were delicious. The decor was amazing. I can’t wait to get back to NYC to get to try more of the menu!”

We came upon this restaurant that was close to the theatre. We were immediately seated downstairs. They have two floors and plenty of room. They did not disappoint. The strip loin steak with Parmesan fries was excellent and also their lemon chicken. Lots of selection on their menu. Would definitely visit again if I’m in New York.

The only thing good about the food was the appetizers were OK. The rest of the meal was terrible. When the entrees were served, the Veal Milanese had a STEAK knife on the plate. The knife was hanging over the edge plate facing the diner, One would think that a pounded thin piece of veal would not need a STEAK knife. But the Veal Milanese and the Chicken Parm, absolutely, needed a STEAK knife. Even with that, it was difficult, almost impossible, to cut the overdone, dry, tasteless piece of veal. The Pasta with Truffles had a couple of Truffles on top. The pizza with vegetables was so thin that it was overdone and tasteless. Our order of carrots was forgotten. When we mentioned this, they brought an order of carrots as we were about done with our meal. The Chocolate Mousse dessert was grainy and heavy. Usually, the food in restaurants in the Theatre District in NYC is 'blah'. This was just bad.

Looking for a good meal in the theatre district and liked the reviews, but the food was only OK, the service was awful, and the price was high, even for New York. I asked the waitress if the pizza was with red sauce or white; she said red. Wrong. No sauce at all. And she didn't return to the table but once the entire time we were there. My wife said the salmon was so-so. And $28 for a glass of wine? So, not likely to return.

Welcoming and courtesy are undoubtedly at home. Good food, we had salmon and chicken parmesan. Exquisite New York cheesecake

Great food and our waiter Andrei was very attentive and willing to advise about the menu etc. Lovely friendly manner which really makes a difference when dining out in NY for the first time.

Bond 45 touted that they have the “Best Pizza in Town” and it lived up to its name. Thin cracker crust, lots of pepperoni, and wait, a honey drizzle, what? Who puts honey on a pizza? A genius, that’s who! The service truly elevated the entire experience. Peter, our server, was nothing short of exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely so much fun. He cracked jokes with us and made us feel like family. When we return to Manhattan, we will definitely eat here again!

The pizzas are not great Blah pasta And hamburger is better On the other hand the addition is it's level For 4 with 1 bottle of wine 250 dollars 😱 Tourist trap I do not recommend

Food and service were solid, but we were given a disappointingly awkward table in the basement - with 3 people along one bench and one at each end of a long skinny table that was next to a busy walkway next to the bar. This made conversation as a table basically impossible. We had made a reservation so in retrospect I think it was reasonable to expect a better table than that and we should likely have asked to be moved but it was so busy I doubt they would have been able to accommodate that request. In any case food was good and staff tried as best they could to be friendly and provide good service even though they too were being distracted by other staff going by.

We had lunch at Bond 45 because it was directly across from the Richard Rogers Theater and we were attending a matinee performance of "Hamilton." We asked to be seated at a front window so we could check on the line waiting to get in to the theater. At first we were told that section was closed. We explained why we want to sit there and they immediately and graciously accommodated us. The server was terrific - friendly and informed. The thin crust Pizza was spot on and more than enough for two people. Bond 45 also has a good selection of beers and a host of Italian specialities. If you are looking for a great place to eat in the theater district, you should definitely try this place.

Super nice atmosphere and excellent food. Best antipasti in town. Had truffle ravioli, highly recommended. Will come back anytime

We ate here a few times whilst on a family break. Food was excellent and the service was decent. Highly recommend the meatball pizza and the lasagna. Highly recommended. Recommend to book and not just turn up as it was busy.

An Italian restaurant serving good quality products. Brasserie style. Beautiful and good dishes. `Top staff. I tasted dishes never before encountered in Italy (even though I go there regularly) with incredible homemade recipes! We recommend this restaurant close to Time Square and Broadway theaters.

Great spot for some traditional dining. This place gets busy and so whilst good, the service can be slow. However, the food is fresh and portions good. Recommend the salmon - very good - and some mixed sides. CARE: ask not to be sat anywhere near the door - it is constantly opened and closed, and generates a draft.

This is a classic, and deservedly so! What can I say, everything a fairly upscale (but casual) Italian place in the Theater District should be. Great food, impeccable service, and the best cannoli I've ever had! You can't go wrong, the staff and management care 100% about food and service.

Service was excellent. Burrata appetizer excellent although the portion was small. Chocolate mousse cake/dessert was outrageous. We sat downstairs which had a great ambiance. We didn’t try anything from the vegetable bar located upstairs but everything looked fresh and delicious. So why only four stars? It was the main dish. I had swordfish which is my favorite and it came overdone and chewy. They were very accommodating and made another plate for me which was better but just ok and they took the plate so basically my bf ate first with me watching and then I ate with him watching which I hate. It would have been more comfortable if they just took the piece of fish back and left me to pick on the rest of the plate. Maybe the pastas or other choices were better. Would not try fish again. My bf had a different fish and his was just ok too. Came with capers which he doesn’t like but he pushed them to the side.

Lovely restaurant, delicious food and right next to times square. Booking ahead is advised as it gets so busy. The restaurant looks small from the outside but when you go in there is a downstairs aswell as upstairs. Very cosy inside.

Interesting decor. You might thinks it’s a diner from the outside but it’s really cool inside. Service was reasonably good. The pizza was really thin (and nice). Veggie dishes great. Enjoyable.

Popped in for drinks and appetizers before a show and sat at the bar. What a great experience!! Our bartender Ava was so amazing - so personable and she makes a mean Elderflower French 75 and Old Fashioned! And the food was amazing.

it was alright. the interior was very fancy but the staff who let us in weren’t the most welcoming. the breakfast tasted quite good but i don’t feel scrambled egg needs to come with salad tbh also the bread was really sweet and the ‘hash browns’ were just potatoes with seasoning which was a bit weird it was like brioche, salad, potatoes and egg on a plate. bit strange but maybe it’s cuz i’m not american i didn’t really get it. and the orange juice was rationed. either way it did taste good tho.

We came here for dinner and dessert. The setting is beautiful, like you’re dining with Inspector Poirot😂. I got the Spaghetti and Meatballs and it was beautiful! I also got the infamous Chocolate Mousse which was divine! Our host, Charlie, was exceptional. He was a charming and funny man. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

We had been looking forward to Bond 45 for WEEKS leading up to our trip to NYC. When we arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, the maitre'd didn't seem too thrilled with us, despite the down stair being almost empty. We were led to a tiny table for 2, with rickety, uncomfortable chairs. We asked to be moved to a different table, which was not taken well. We ended up in the corner near the offie, in 2 deep, plush living room type chairs. When we plopped down, our chins and shoulders barely reached the table top, but we were scared to speak up again. We ordered our meal, planning to split everything. We ordered the garlic loaf of bread- delish but room temp so cold butter pats wouldn't melt on it. We ordered the 12-inch fried burrata mozzarella stick, which was also room temp, with solidified, congealed cheese inside. When we spoke up, the manager came over and rudely told us "that's how we serve it here" but took it off our bill. We also had the burrata, tomato, avocado salad, which was delicious, but TINY and def wasn't meant be shared. We would have each ordered our own of we had known. For our main course, we shared the burrata ravioli, which again, wasn't hot and was undercooked. At this point, reading the body language of our server, we didn't bother saying it wasn't cooked or hot enough. It had the potential to be delish if it had been served hot. Also, for $22, even in the Theater District, it was a TINY portion with just 6 tiny little ravioli. Since we were still hungry , we both ordered our own desserts. They were yummy and huge, and since we were heading to a show, went to waste as we couldn't take the leftovers home. I had heard from so many people how great this restaurant is, so the entire experience was a disappointment. We figured this meal would be our best and favorite of our 4 days of eating throughout the city. We don't paying a bit extra for a meal, but expect the service to be good and the food to be cooked properly..

Last minute dinner before a broadway show. Absolutely amazing and friendly staff. The food was delicious. The thin pizza crust is amazing and the bruschetta was a great appetizer. All plates looked delicious. Drinks were really good too. Great atmosphere downstairs

Fresh and Delicious!!! Absolutely a great find in NYC .. service was great the bartender was sooo friendly and made our visit a fun time. The Antipasta bar was so fresh with a great assortment. We will definitely return and HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Had lunch here before heading to next door for "Death Becomes Her".. it was easy to get a table for lunch on that Saturday. The have all day breakfast for lunch, as well as other options.. They even have special drinks named after some shows.

We had Virgin Experience travel credit. We booked Bond 45 for our dinner in NYC. With the Virgin Experience travel credit, it was a Fix Meal. My husband and I each had a drink. He had a Whisky Sour and I had passion fruit Aperol spritz. Delicious. Our fixed dinner started with a homemade pizza. We each had a Caesar salad. I enjoyed the Branzino with spinach. My husband enjoyed the veal milanese. Delicious. Then the dessert was a HUGE block of cheesecake. I could not eat it, lactose intolerant, so they provided me with a bowl of cut strawberries. We only paid $30 for our drinks. Terrific service. Nice people.

Great location. Food was expensive for what you get. Server was goofy but fun. Special connection to show was a nice touch.

Nice milieu, average food and service ok. The menu had a lot of dishes to choose from. My fresh pasta was raw and the sauce too salty. When they asked how the food was and I told them my problem they brought me a new portion. The waiter spilled the wine glass behind my friend and some wine splashed on his coat. We noticed even though they didn't say anything about it. Nice cocktails though. Dinner was something around USD 300.

Great place. Really good food. The vegetable appetizers were amazing. Good dinner and big portions. Wonderful wait staff-Travis, nice atmosphere

We are 6 seniors with lots of experience in restaurants. We are Well traveled, and some have homes in the Hamptons. This restaurant is extremely overpriced, especially the wine. Food was mediocre. Staff was fabulous and it is a shame to have such wonderful staff having to deal with mediocre food and wine lists that go beyond even Hampton prices. We will not return.

Beautiful presentation behind the bar of food and drink however serving chef in-between re using plates and heating up food in ovens behind the bar had a lovely feel of his own hair, replaced his hat and had a lovely chomp on his own nails in front of a full house of customers! I of course complained and left!!! Last night as a family in New York!!! DISGUSTING! The dishes are really expensive but finger nails are free!!!

Family friendly Italian restaurant in NY's theater district - now located on 46th street, steps from the nearby theaters on 44th, 45th and 46th Streets. We started with the garlic loaf. My party had some traditional favorites (lasagna, ravioli, penne a la vodka) as well as house specialities (Chicken Pepperoni Parmigiana). We shared the cheesecake for dessert. It was fun to see the various name plaques in our booth as well as the ones near by. Service was prompt and attentive - and we had no issues for our 7 pm curtain.

Fantastic service food and ambiance. I was surprised no veggies accompanied the mains and had to be ordered separately, but the food was delicious and fast!

Loved everything about this eaterie. Felt like I was in a proper piece of New York. Food was great as was the service. Only negative was my pals food looked so much more appetising than mine although both dishes were great.

I ate a Bond 45 a few times during this 7-night stay at the attached Hotel Edison. I had a few grab-n-go breakfast sandwiches and croissants using my hotel breakfast vouchers that were tasty and quick. One morning I had more time and dined in for breakfast, ordering the eggs Benedict (so good!). Another night I came for dinner, including the Bond Cup - my favorite cocktail in the city. I usually get the lasagna here, but I opted to try the chicken parm and a side of spaghetti. It was a great choice and the portion was HUGE! My servers were all great and Bond 45 remains one of my favorite places in this part of the city.

Unfortunately not everything that glitters is nice!! On arrival we were rudely taken to our table, then about 5 minutes later the server arrived took our drinks order, then proceeded to take our food order, he was attentive in coming to explain that it was busy and drink orders were backed up. - no problem there! Drinks arrived promptly followed by our delicious looking food, unfortunately this is when attitude changed - as two of the dishes were cold dispite been served in very hot dishes, the food was taken away and then re served still not being too hot we ate it as we had been made to feel very uncomfortable in expecting our food to be hot in the first place

We popped into in after a Saturday matinee of Sweeney Todd. We didn’t have reservations but they managed to find us a table. We had a picky tween and a dieting teen with us but found things on the menu to make everyone happy. I will describe the food below but the best part was our waiter. He was hilarious. I know it is a bit but it made the meal fun in addition to tasty. We had the garlic loaf, mozzarella stick (yes stick and hopefully you get the slightly raunchy joke to go with your order), calamari, ravioli and carbonara. I also got the mock tail version of their Six tie-in called The Queen’s Cup. All the food was delicious and the service was wonderful and entertaining. Bonus - it was close enough to the stage door that my teen was able to pop out after he ordered and get an autograph. We would definitely eat there again before or after a show.

We had a reservation for dinner on a Wednesday evening before a show. We were seated in the basement at a tiny table next to the bar which was not ideal. Service was fine. They were hustling until the theatre crowd started to empty out at 6:50 pm at which point we had to flag our waiter down to get our check. The antipasti was delicious. We got the roasted carrots, corn salad and spinach. We also loved the Gorgonzola bread. The pasta carbonara was quite bland and boring. Supposed to come with guanciale and there were maybe three small pieces. The rigatoni vodka also had sparse guanciale which was disappointing but at least the sauce had some flavor. Cocktails were delicious.

Dreadful. In and (felt like ushered) out within 40 minutes. Offered sparkling water along with the still water - didn't tell us we'd be charged $9.50 for the privilege. Two bowls of mediocre pasta and $82 later we left without leaving a tip. The whole experience was rushed. I hadn't even finished my last mouthful of the 2, yes 2, meatballs in my overpriced spaghetti when the waiter asked if we wanted dessert. The place wasn't crowded and was past pre-theatre time so really don't understand the poor service and attitude. So disappointed. I've never left a restaurant without leaving a tip but it wasn't deserved on this occasion.

Really poor food. Asked for Manager at the end of the meal…. Meal 1. Salmon Under cooked raw in the centre. I just hope i don't suffer in the morning when i fly back to the uk…Meal 2. Lasagne… Cold and not fit for consumption. My wife just left all food on the plate as it was not fit for a dog!!!! Meal 3. Was a well cooked and well prepared Pizza that my son enjoyed it …( honest praise) we called the manager who just gave platitudes and then disappeared into the night. As a family we are totally dissatisfied with the meal and the service we received after we complained. If you are from the Uk, then you will expect better food and service than this and i would urge you not to frequent this establishment…Over priced poor food and service…November 11th 2023 …..

Came here for a solo dinner before a show. I ordered a Bond Cup cocktail and the lasagna. Both are excellent. It’s not a cheap meal, but it’s always excellent in both food and service.

We ate here before our show and this place was to die for. My husband loves lasagne but says he has yet to find a place that makes it better than me, until we went here. He told me he finally found some better than mine. I had the crab cake and shrimp. It was delicious. They also knew it was our anniversary and brought us their chocolate mousse. Service was very good as well. OMG, it was delicious. We were so full when we left we had to go the long way to the theatre to get in a walk. Dinner was amazing.

We had a lovely dinner at Bond 45 before seeing a Play nearby. All 4 of us had a different meal all were good. We shared a bottle of Chianti and each couple shared a dessert. A friend joined us for drinks. The waitstaff was attentive and made sure we made it to the Play on time.

Situated in the heart of the theater district, Bond 45 serves a variety of traditional Italian cuisine. Four of us were able to spread out in a red leather, half round booth, that could have accommodated six easily. Our orders came out quick, which was a blessing, for we had a show to catch. Service was excellent. Great location to grab dinner before or after a show.

We came to Bond 45 years ago and had a wonderful experience. We have subsequently gone many times to Café Fiorello, its sister property up by Lincoln Center, and have thoroughly enjoyed every meal there. We decided to revisit Bond 45 since we were staying in the theater district. The food was acceptable not outstanding, but the service and environment was horrible. The waiter repeatedly only served half the table, not asking everybody what they wanted or needed. He came and took orders for appetizers and failed to ask if anybody wanted a beverage. But the worst was as tables were cleared. They literally broke the tables down and removed the chairs from the area. I appreciate we were downstairs and probably in an overflow area for a high traffic evening on a Saturday night. However, we were not there very late. Our reservation was at 6:30 and by 8:15 all the tables around us had the chairs removed the tablecloths removed and all candles and other place settings gone. Staff started to gather at a table and eat it felt like we had just been escorted into a staff only kitchen area. For the amount of money we spent for a party of six that is not how we should’ve been treated. I was horrified as we were the ones who had convinced friends to join us there.

We ran into the Bind 45 by pure chance - and will come again on our next visit to NYC. Great bar, food and staff. We sat at the bar and Freddie the bartender took great care of us. The food was excellent as well. Big recommendation!!!

Nice setting sat downstairs with attentIve service Pizza very good The pick your own veggies for starter are cute and the Gorgonzola bread was divine

We saw the signs outside (Bar open all day) and went in hoping to get a drink while waiting for the doors to open for Hamilton. Lovely young woman on the door suggested where we might go to sit down. We went downstairs, which was half empty, and were approached by an extremely rude waiter who told us, as though we were children, that we had no right to be there. He marched us back upstairs, rudely told off both of the staff on the door in front of us and then slowly and in as condescending a manner as he could, told us why we could not stay. This is the first and only example of rude, inhospitable behaviour we have encountered in New York. We went across the square to a lovely Irish bar where we could not have been served better. There is no excuse for speaking to other staff and guests with such disgust. He was an older man and should know better. If you can’t speak to people pleasantly then get another job.

My mum and I came across this amazing bar/restaurant on the way back to our hotel after a busy day shopping. We were immediately greeted by the loveliest barman named Peter who was attentive, funny and got all of the people at the bar talking. We had a cocktail but could also see the amazing food too. We could of happily sat in there all afternoon and will definitely be returning for food. Thank youbso much Peter, you are an asset to Bond 45.

It exceeded my expectation to the top. The service was very attentive and worked well. The food was very good and the fillet just as delivered as ordered. The place basically very nice.

Great place to have dinner if you are seeing a show nearby. I was staying next door at the Marriot and the location was about 20 feet from the entrance. Reservations are necessary! Salads, pastas, pizzas and entrees are all delicious and homemade! Great friendly service as well.

A restaurant to try in N.Y. Very nice environment and attention to detail. Great Food, Fast Service. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Booked at the last minute and really glad we did - brilliant setting, service great and food was lovely. The Meatball pizza I had was just perfect - try it! Will definitely be coming back here.

Excellent Antipasto Bar the menu overall very complete. Service was slow but we weren’t in a hurry that night. Food selections were good but not memorable.

Nice , warm , friendly place decent beer, staff are very nice . Like a wee craft fireman . And you can catch a show next door thanks

The toasted gorgonzola loaf will change your life!! The restaurant was perfectly located for the show we were going to see. The atmosphere was excellent! The burrata caprese salad was amazing, the homemade burrata mozzarella was unbelievable! The pizza's were delicious! The service was inattentive, I wouldn't go as far as to say it was terrible, but it was not good. Watching the tables that had servers different than ours, they seemed to receive great service. For ourselves and the other tables that shared our waiter the service was underwhelming. If it wasn't for the gorgonzola loaf being so out of this world this would be a three star review. Go! Order the Gorgonzola Loaf! Hope you get a different waiter than we did!

We ate at Bond 45 for four breakfasts (two were Grab and Go, two were dine-in) and one dinner during our recent trip to NYC. Grab and Go breakfasts were basic but filling, dine-in breakfasts were better. Dinner was great. We ordered Rigatoni Alla Vodka and Housemade Fettuccini and Red Shrimp as our entrees. They were flavorful and filling. We had loved their signature chocolate mousse on a previous visit so we decided to try it again and ordered one dessert to share. It was sooooo good that we had to order another one! Service was attentive, even though the place was packed and servers were very busy. We enjoyed our visits and will definitely visit again next time we are in NYC!

Booked as local to hotel and went after visiting the Christmas lights at Dyker heights Very underwhelming, mainly because of miserable more mature waiter; who had zero finesse. Wanted guests out ASAP. The food actually was ok

Service was great, just right, attentive but not pushy. Food was very good, exceeded expectations and adjusted for vegan wishes for one family member

We have been here before so we made reservations for our 35th anniversary dinner. When we checked in the host said he had as special table for us with a view so we were excited.. He took us downstairs and set us in a cubby corner table that our view was 3 other couples staring at us while they ate. Our food was wrong and dry because it would seem it was sitting under the heat lights..they never fixed, our waiter would just disappear so needless to say it was not a good experience on our special day.... They was so many other things that was just as bad but will not go there in this review.. I sent 2 emails to them but they will not reply. Will not be going back..

We stopped in here for a cocktail before our dinner reservations at another restaurant. If we hadn't had reservations already we would have eaten here. The warm antipasto offerings looked amazing. it's so popular there's even a dedicated staff who does nothing but fulfill those orders. If we are ever back in town we will try this place. our only beef with our drinks is that they made mine with Jim Beam but charged the same as if we're made for a higher end whiskey. That's just not right.

Not a great eating experience! The Italian food was so salty I had to leave my meal completely. We made do with a Meal between us and a portion of garlic loaf, and although we were sooo hungry, we still ended up leaving over half of the rest because of the same excessive salt ingredient. Complained but they don’t care, because they know your’re not going back anyway. Please don’t bother going here! There are some really nice food shops locally that you can bring back to your room for 1/5th of the price.

This was AMAZING! From the food (Dover Sole!!!) to the beverages (ESPRESSO MARTINI) to the amazing waitress…I’ve enjoyed very few meals as much as I did this evening. The waitress was very attentive and fun to talk to and have EXCELLENT advice on the food. I will go back here every time I am in NYC in the future.

We all enjoyed our dinner the food and service was great unfortunately we had a time limit due to our upcoming concert and only had main courses but we enjoyed what we had. The only criticism I felt the pizza could have been warmer it was served on a cold plate and for that reason I give restaurant 8 out of ten.

A wonderful meal, great atmosphere, convenient theater location, pleasant waitstaff, would gladly return. The veg app platter was delicious, the pasta was superb, salmon cooked to perfection.

Went for a meal before a show. Made a reservation on OpenTable. They wished us a Happy Anniversary and put us in a cute little corner booth. It was so nice! Dinner was excellent. After reading reviews we decided not to do bread or apps so we could enjoy the meals. The bond spritz is really nice. I had the carbonara (I wish there was more bacon - only 3 pieces on mine) and my husband had the chicken pepperoni parm. We shared both. The chicken parm takes the whole plate!!! It doesn’t come with pasta which would be a nice thing to include but you can add it. 2 drinks and 2 entrees was $100. The quality and atmosphere are excellent - but a couple more pieces of bacon would have sealed the deal lol. The dishes are totally able to be shared so be thoughtful as you order. Cheers!

It is definitely not an Italian restaurant. Pretty dark atmosphere, South American waiters. As an appetizer a tray of salad leaves without dressing, with a few tiny croutons. Fried squid that were good along with fried hot peppers. Milanese cutlet with garlic flavored breading. Cheesecake. There's nothing Italian about it. Not Recommendation

Great lasagna and ravioli. Fantastic service and location near theaters and Times Square. I have eaten at several Italian restaurants over the years in my trips to NYC, and this is my favorite now. We will be back

The service was amazing. During the explanation of the menu, the waiter highlighted several dishes. One of them was the chicken Parmesan, which one of us ordered. He said it was very popular, and very good, however; it disappointed. Another dish that was recommended was the lasagna which also was ordered and that was amazing. Appetizers were good, were good and desserts were way over priced, however it is NYC. It’s in a great location in the theater district, and we didn’t feel rushed at all.

We LOVED this restaurant - the ambiance, "old school movie stars" meets young and old well-dressed people. Cool cocktails and delicious food. The staff was superb - friendly, on-point. I made the reservation for 4, but ended up having 5 and they happily accommodated us without any hassle. We had our dinner and got to our broadway show right on time.

Were staying at the adjoining Edison hotel and had breakfast here most mornings as well as one dinner. Breakfasts service was swift and tasty - lovely the fruit and oatmeal. The breakfast grab and go bags were useful for early starts and were just enough to keep you going for the morning. Ate dinner one day - great authentic pizza and well prepared chicken caesar salad. Would highly recommend.

Great service and humour from Ava. We welcomed her advice about the areas in NY we wanted to visit. Lovely friendly lady who made us feel really welcome.

Used our coupons from the hotel for both the sit down breakfast and the grab-n-go. Both were excellent. Hard dinner one night and the food was excellent.

Stumbled upon Bond 45 leaving a show at the Shubert and stopped in for a drink. The lower level bar had open seats and we enjoyed our drinks and the service. The menu looked great as was the decor in the restaurant. We plan to have dinner on our next visit to NYC.

Great restaurant in the center of New York. Excellent both the quantity and quality of food, average price with (high) prices in New York. If you are around here is not sure where to go, it could be a viable alternative.

We went on our first night in New York, admittedly tired from our long haul flight, but the atmosphere and the waitress was outstanding and made it really enjoyable. Not a cheap eat, but by no means expensive. I had the lasagne and OMG, probably the best I’ve ever had. The starter was Gorgonzola bread, this was insanely nice! The waitress I wish I remember her name, but she was brilliant and a credit to the restaurant. The piano player was a really nice romantic touch, will be back next time we are in NYC.

We unfortunately found ourselves in this restaurant near Times Square... which supposedly had the best pizza in town (don't know when they got this price but it must have been 50 years ago). Let’s start with the very cold welcome, decor from another time, average age 70 years… it would be fine if the food was up to par but the pizzas were almost inedible! We end up with an ultra salty bill for 3 unfortunately infamous pizzas. in short a tourist trap, move on

I had not heard of this restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised. It seemed like local business people patronized it and I visited to meet up with college friends from decades past. Our waitress was lovely and gave us plenty of time. I wish I knew of Bond 45 when I go to the theater...it's a great spot and I'm sure I'll return.

Do not listen to any negative reviews. The food was amazing and the whole staff was super nice from the moment we walked in. We watched the Six musical and they have a booth of the musical in the restaurant to take pictures and they have drinks in honor of the show. Enjoy a great meal. We are definitely coming back for a dinner.

Outstanding pizza for lunch and waiter Trevor was excellent. Next day went back for lunch. Waiter Victor and Bartender Pete were fantastic . Again food was outstanding and wine selection is awesome . If you are ever in New York close to Times Square highly recommend this Resturant .

Good poor, restaurant tired. We have spaghetti, the pasta was really not nice, and a margarita pizza which was so crispy. Opp Hamilton so very handy otherwise not great.

Went for a NY strip steak and it was wonderful, tasted delicious. decor is old italian theme with lots of character

We had dinner here prior to seeing Hamilton (the play) right across the street on Saturday, December 23, 2023. We went early to allow enough time to enjoy the meal and wine, so we were seated immediately... not on the main floor but took us to the basement. This is a very large restaurant. Prices here are very high for what you get, but that may account for the good service. My wife and I each had a glass of wine $25 and $19 per glass. Yikes!! We were asked if we wanted bread, we said yes because we thought it was free.. nope it was $10. We had an appetizer of Calamari $19, okay but not worth the price. My wife ordered the Quinoa/Avocado Salad with Shrimp $33, another yikes for a small plate of food. I had the Branzino $37, and was asked if I wanted the head or tail on, or neither. I chose neither. It is a Sea Bass Italian style and comes with roasted veggies on top. Our bill came to about $180 with the tip. We don't mind paying this much for dinner, but I would put the value at about $100. Nice place if you come for the ambiance and the food is secondary.

Some hits too many misses. Good service. Ravioli was about par for the area. Rigatoni with vodka sauce would have been good except only enough to cover half of the pasta. Want bread? Have to buy one of their “special” loafs. Wine pour are the same price as other local Italian restaurants in the area but a much smaller pour. Dessert was a chocolate mousse- huge serving, great chocolate flavor but still light enough for two to polish it off without feeling that you over did.

good restaurant, very efficient service, good food, interesting interior, always well staffed, friendly bar and good value for money, even if it is expensive for Europeans, but that's the case everywhere in New York...

Overpriced 'so-so' food. Drinks do not have top-shelf liquor. Instead of Captain Morgan Rum, they had Sailor Jerry the poor man's version. No Tito's Vodka either. Also the person who seated us said, "You have a birthday listed on reservations. What is the person's name?" I gave it to him and he said he would tell our server. Nothing. So watered-down low cost drinks, tepid food. Not worth the price.

A lovely evening after seeing a Broadway show. Fantastic pizza, service very welcoming and friendly -Andrei was exceptionally helpful and gave great advice and recommendations.

Group of 11, seated downstairs. Beautiful decor. Comfortable seating. Outstanding menu options (I had veal parmigiana; serving was huge and Excellent!) Would love to return, to try other menu options.

We had breakfast here throughout our stay in New York. It was pretty basic if you were using Hotel Edison’s breakfast voucher. The menu was a bit pricey too.

Having just arrived in New York after a long day travelling, I came for a drink after a rather frustrating hotel check in experience and ended up staying for a few drinks and THE most delicious pizza. But the pizza wasn’t the highlight, Kesia who served us has restored my faith in human kind! Warm, friendly, guided me on what”s good on the menu , although I suspect it might all be! And introduced me to arugula (the vegetable formerly known as rocket!). Great atmosphere too had a friendly chat at the bar with others. So glad I stepped in it turned my day around! Only here for a short visit but I do definitely think I will be back. Would highly recommend 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Annual trip into city that had been disrupted by Covid finally resumed this year. Usually go to Cafe Fiorello but due to location of hotel this trip we decided on Bond45. Bottom line…great service from Luis, delicious food, classic Old New York vibe. Burrata, prosciutto, and focaccia to start with one of the best old fashioned ever! Glass of Chardonnay and truffled ravioli followed. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We ended with their famous chocolate mousse to share. We felt like we needed to roll ourselves out at the end of the evening. We will be back.

Such a nice spacious place to go for dinner or drinks while going tin a Broadway play. I went for a drink and we were seated right away even though they were packed. We didn’t eat but the food looked amazing. Service was excellent .

I almost always eat here at least one meal of any stay in the theatre district. The service is always great and the food is always delicious. The Bond Cup is my favorite cocktail - so refreshing and so beautifully garnished. The lasagna is my absolute favorite dish and I have a difficult time ordering anything else. Didn’t do breakfast this time, but the eggs Benedict are quite worthy!

Expected this one to be a little nicer than it was with its proximity to big name theaters. Started off rough getting attitude from the hostess for being 10 minutes early for our reservation. Waiter was pleasant and food came in a good time frame. Warm tap water on a sweltering hot day wasn’t very refreshing. Food was good but honestly pretty average for the higher prices they charge. Gorgonzola bread was tasty but onions were cold in the middle. Lasagna was noodle heavy and sauce light but was tasty enough. Carbonara was butter and black pepper heavy but was ok. Chicken pepperoni parm was ok. All in all our bellies were full at the end of the meal but it isn’t anywhere we will rush back to. It didn’t seem like they really thought they had to try to hard to impress anyone .

I went with my partner for a night out and he had been there years ago at its previous location. He's usually spot on, but... not this time. Bond 45's food is horribly overpriced IMO for the quality that was served. We were asked if we wanted water and charged for a bottle of water. We were asked if we wanted bread and were presented with garlic bread was around twenty dollars and tasted extremely bland. I had ordered the salmon, which was to be done well, and it was honestly awful. The presentation was lacking and the first bite was flavorless. I should also mention that before this a server tried to deliver us food that we didn't order and had to insist several times it was not ours. I RARELY pull a Karen card and usually just try to soldier through a bad meal, but this was so awful I simply couldn't. I told them it was not up to standard, it was not definitely good, and I simply did not want it (I think I may have only done this two times ever in my life). My boyfriend finished his food (Italian pasta dish) and later said it was not good and did not compare to the food he had at the old location a few years back. Would not recommend. We will NOT be giving this restaurant another chance with so many options in the same area that are just much, much more enticing. There are SO many great places in the city to eat with lots of character and Bond 45's prices, service, and food are simply not up to a quality standard. Not worth the price - simply go elsewhere.

Dined here twice in 4 days - our food was very good with generous portions. They are attentive and very quick to serve just in case you have plans to get going. We also had the GrabnGo breakfast option that we used as an amenity for our Hotel Edison stay. Those options were very good - thanks to all staff for prompt and courteous service :)

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Service was so quick. Food was incredible such big portions I had to take my leftovers back to my room. Would defo recommend this restaurant

Really average....nothing good and nothing really bad but average Pancakes are big but not great, avocado toast with not great bread 😞

We booked a table for 6:30 & arrived at 6:25 to be told to wait 5/7 mins as table not ready. Staff member said he'd let us know. In the meantime a whole load more people turned up for 6:30 bookings so the area got very busy. We watched as they all got shown to tables and asked again when ours would be ready - we were then told that our name had been called previously (we were right next to the desk🤔)After another 10 min wait we went to our table.Ordered our msin courses and waiters seemed rushed and not particularly friendly. Pasta was nice but tepid warm and undercooked in places. Paid the bill and left no tip - they didn't earn it!

There are many places to eat before you head to the theatre in New York. If you have a show to get to you can eat fast, or take your time. Depending on what you want and where you go. Some restaurants cater to those people who have a show to catch and want to be close to the show itself. So, they are willing to step inside, pick something to eat and pay for it. Sometimes the food is as much as the show. Or it is a show unto itself. Welcome to Bond 45. It is one of a sister of restaurants in the area. All Have the same crowd, the same food, the same price. I went the other day to meet a group of individuals who were going to a show after lunch. Eight of us decided this was the area that was in the middle of the theatres we needed to see the show we selected. Good thing we had a reservation. This was a sold out performance even in a restaurant. Stepping inside, and sitting down, menus were waiting for us. We had to order fast even if the show was 2 hours away. Sitting at a small table in a crowded place we waited for the waiter to stop over and take the order. He moved as quick as expected. He did not ask if we wanted anything to drink to start. Instead he asked what we wanted to eat. Looking at the menu quick we made our request. If we wanted to drink something we had to say that at the same time. We then placed our orders and had to wait. We ordered our appetizers along with our entree. We expected that to come with our beverage prior to the entree. But at Bond 45 that did not happen. Instead they brought everything at the same time. The appetizer and the entree on two plates at a table that could hold 6 people instead of the 8 of us. The beverage came with it. It was a variety of items on the table. Caesar salads. Pizza. Soup. I ordered a Burrata Caprese Salad which is tomatoes and mozzarella and balsamic dressing. It turned out to be a ball of mozzarella which was very creamy. There were only 4 slices of tomatoes which were hard and tasteless. The balsamic was missing. We had to order that again. The overall flavor did not exist. And sharing this for the two of us was done in a flash. It was nothing. As for the main entrees on the table there was more pizza, a Tuna Nicoise Salad with overcooked tuna and more potatoes than haricot vert (green beans) and no boiled egg. There were several orders of Chicken Pepperoni Parmigiana on a plate with no side orders (the waiter never asked). We also had some pasta dishes as entree. I ordered the Five Pomodoro Spaghetti, a dish of spaghetti in sauce and mixed with five (5) different types of cheese with flavor. This was interesting. No flavor. No cheese to taste. The sauce was bland. I asked for some more cheese. They brought it over and grated it on top. Twice. Another guest had to request the same. It was tasteless. I get this better at the pizza place up the block from me. Dessert was nondescript. We ordered our coffees, cappuccinos and even espresso. I ordered a double. They were surprised. They did bring it to me and it was easy to drink. It tasted like decaf. Nothing. The highlight was the staff. Not the best. The water behind us kept knocking me on the head when he served the table behind us. I moved my chair. The other waiter refilling our water spilled some on my plate then a nice amount in my lap. I had to stand up and wipe my pants with the napkins. They said they would bring another napkin and even another entree. I sat down. Finished what I had because it took them 15 minutes to bring me the new dish. The price was as expected. This is not cheap. Youtube what you pay for as they say. At the end, it was time to leave. We got up and said our good-byes. The show must go on. Next time I will head up to the pizza place instead.

We booked here as it was opposite Hamilton and ideal for a pre-show dinner. Wasn’t expecting much and so it was a wonderful surprise that the restaurant was lovely with a great vibe, the menu and food fantastic and the service attentive without being intrusive or fussy - we had a wonderful evening. Our last couple of hours in NY and we decided to visit again for some drinks and food at the bar, again great food great drinks and a great time. Would recommended.

Went for drinks and appetizers after seeing Hamilton. Great service and atmosphere. Was really great to just walk over after seeing the show.

We just happened to walk in for a quick drink and ended up staying for a couple hours. The bar is fantastic, the bar tender is the best we’ve had in NYC. The food is amazing and beyond what you may expect. Highly recommend.

Nice restaurant, quick service. Food didn’t come very hot and was very expensive, however it did taste nice. Desserts were also very nice but very big. Service somewhat felt rushed but overall a decent dining experience.

Arrived for a late dinner after a show. Delicious food, great service. JJG was great. We really felt welcome and cared for…left with very full bellies! Will return again!

Absolutely brilliant dinner with superb staff who had a positive and “can do” approach to everything they did for us. The food was well prepared, presented and tasted amazing!!!!! We would recommend this restaurant and will come back again on our next trip to New York.

A wonderful dining experience. Anistiatio, spelling may be wrong, was so accommodating and pleasant when we asked to be seated at another area, even though it was very crowded. He also came by to see if we wanted him to check our coats. Kasia, our server, was attentive, helpful and just so nice. Most of all, the food was excellent, especially the Chicken Parmigiana, the best I have even eaten.

Rare Gem in Times Square! We dined here prior to seeing death becomes her next door and we were so pleasantly surprised by the food, service and hospitality they provided to us. We dined with my daughter who has anaphylactic allergies to a number of things and they were SO accommodating to her! I spoke with Stephanie prior to dining to figure out what was safe and she was so attentive and understanding, giving me a variety of options for her and making us feel very confident. The food was served by Stefan, who was excellent, attentive and kind and everything was delicious! We enjoyed our dinner and will be back very soon!

At edison Hotel w47 St new york you get vouchers for a 5 dollar breakfast or vouchers for a grab and go then take juice coffee fruit pastries etc back to room staff at edison Hotel very friendly and helpful.

Resv for 5 at 5pm to make a 7pm curtain. Server would not take the app order prior to my guests arriving...because ”the chef doesn't work that way...” Not clear on how the kitchen, or the waitstaff, DOES work, as our entrees arrived, 5 minutes apart, at 630, leaving us a full TEN MINUTES to savor our meal. Insult to injury, server offers to comp desserts AS WE HEAD FOR THE DOOR. We choose Bond 45 for our long-anticipated celebration as a reliable go-to for pre theater dining. We are fans of the group, especially Fiorello’s, for decades. In hospitality, there’s only one chance to get it right. This was a fiasco from the get go, unacceptable and incompetent in every aspect. Take Bond 45 off your list. There are plenty of great restaurants in the theater district that understand the responsibility of getting patrons out the door on time.

I had been here once before maybe a year or so ago for pre-matinee drinks and snacks and had a pleasant experience so decided to try it out for an early pre-show dinner. What a mistake. $100 for a crap meal and bad service. Where to start ... I walk in to an entirely empty restaurant and they (1) act VERY confused by someone wanting a table for one, like it has never happened before (2) didn't want to give me a table. What a welcome. Sat down, ordered a small sparkling water (later to find out I was charged $12.50 for a giant bottle) and a spicy margarita. Was harassed by various waiters asking if I would order in the first 90 seconds after I sat down. Once I was actually ready to order (after a normal 3-5 min time frame), I ordered Bruschetta as an app, and for my main I wanted a salad. So I asked what dressing the Cobb Salad had and this was apparently this was not something anyone in the restaurant knew. Eventually I was told "Caesar dressing," I asked again to confirm, "Caesar dressing on the CAESAR salad, or the COBB?" and was told again that the Cobb salad had Caesar dressing. So I figured I might as well order the actual Caesar with chicken. The $20 Bruschetta brought out was not the one I ordered, which honestly was NBD since I was kinda torn between the two options anyway. I was fine with the other type. But it was also burnt, with like two pieces of tomato on it. Not so fine with that. As for my salad, it was $33 dollars for about 3 things of lettuce, 2 soggy croutons, and a giant flat circle of bland chicken. The $19 margarita never came so I tried 5 times to flag down a waiter and could not get mine to make eye contact; finally another waiter (who I will say seemed to be offering his own tables a much better experience) saw me, and went to the bar to get my drink. Which was, at that point, watered down by melted ice and tepid. It also was about half full, so clearly it was mostly ice when made. For $19 I got about 4 sips of drink. Overall, my meal was $85 dollars for barely anything and an overall rude experience. Will NOT be back.

This is our go-to restaurant anytime we see a show or stay in midtown, which is 5+ times per year. Food is consistently good, the octopus with hummus is a standout and so is the truffle ravioli. I ordered both on my last trip and really enjoyed. This time, we ordered drinks that didn’t come out until after the apps hit the table, requiring me to flag down one of the managers. The place was packed and we were crammed into a tiny two-seater in the basement, which wasn’t a great experience. We always feel rushed when we are here, but the location is key and the food is so consistently good we are willing to accept the odd off night.

The service from Ava was excellent. Great margarita and the prosciutto and burrata was amazing . So happy we stopped in for a drink at the bar after our Broadway show.

We came here for post-show drinks on the first night of the trip. I love the Bond Cup cocktail - it’s my favorite specialty drink in the city. We also shared the HUGE mozzarella stick. We could have used a third friend - it was more than the two of us could eat. Our hotel (Hotel Edison) also provided vouchers for a grab-n-go breakfast from Bond 45 that we used twice during this trip. The egg sandwiches and pastries were so flavorful! I really didn’t expect much from a meal labeled “grab-n-go” but it really was great.

Generally a poor experience. Our server seemed entirely annoyed and disinterested from the moment we were seated. Zero personality and the bare minimum of "service". We had the calamari appetizer, which was fine. My friend ordered the salmon, and the server specifically asked how she wanted it cooked. She was glad he asked and said she wanted it well done. I ordered the shrimp scampi. When the meals came, her salmon was BARELY cooked. Never mind well done, it was RAW - gross and wet. My shrimp scampi was not at all what I expected (shrimp with pasta in a lemon butter sauce, which is what I understand shrimp scampi to be) - there were 4 shrimp (with both heads and tails on them - I suppose "to be fancy" but really it was just creepy looking) on a bed of some kind of cornmeal (polenta? idk). It was both disappointing and a very small portion. After a bit, the waiter returned and, to his credit, took one look at the salmon and said that wasn't well done, and whisked it away before my friend could even say something (she was debating to just get something entirely different, since the dish was so off-putting). He returned with a salmon that was certainly MORE done, but still not "well done" by any definition. She was able to find parts that were edible, and said the spinach was delicious, but overall we were both really disappointed. I would absolutely never go there again.

Pricy but absolutely worth it! The pizza had the best crust and the mestballs were so tender i did not know ypu could get so good meatballs. Waiters also very good!

Food was nice. Very disappointing service. We weren’t once asked if our food was ok. We were approached with do you want another drink?! This was after our drinks had been empty for 10 mins. We then waited at our table to pay the bill and asked a few times but no one listened so we got up to pay the bill instead! I would say that the food was good, but the service was really not great.

We had an early dinner before seeing a show across the street. Buchetta with goat cheese appetizer, chicken parm, spaghetti, & Rotini Vodka. Fantastic Service. We were celebrating my granddaughter’s 16 th birthday & they made her feel very special. Our waiter Joey humored this old grandma’s silliness & gave us some new coincidental chocolate mousse memories! Thanks Joey!!❤️

The place was very pretty, the service was excellent. A bit overpriced which I would have been ok with but did not care for my entree nor the bread we had at all

We went to a play and decided to have an early dinner after the matinee. We’ve been to most of the restaurants in the theater district and they range from poor to average. As usual I just didn’t feel like dealing with traffic, paying for another garage or paying 2 cab fares so we stopped here. We walked in after checking out the menu which looked interesting with reasonable prices. The place had a nice feel. We were taken downstairs to a table where it was quieter than upstairs. Our server was professional and polite. My wife ordered chicken Milanese, I ordered veal Milanese. Service was pretty quick. We both enjoyed our meals. We will come back.

Second time we’ve eaten here and the food did not disappoint. My original menu choice was not available but the waiter (didn’t get his name) kindly recommended another dish, the Branzino, which was delicious. An overall lovely experience even given the busy location of the restaurant.

We went here after an award celebration. We just went to drink wine and celebrate. The menu was not overwhelming and had enough of a variety to satisfy most. The bartender was extremely helpful and was integral to our selections.

My friend and I visited Bond 45 for a pre-theatre lunch. We both ordered bacon cheeseburgers, medium. When our meals came, both the burgers were very under-cooked. We sent them back and were served new meals. Again, our burgers were so under-cooked that they we almost raw. At this point, we had a show to attend and definitely did not want to wait for a third meal. Will never go to Bond 45 again. It was a disappointing experience.

We had a reservation and table was ready. Service was good and food delicious. Two of us had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and one had an omelette. Prices were high, but the meal was substantial and satisfying. Not a broad menu, but enough to choose from for a nice breakfast.

The chicken parm is wonderful. The drinks are good. Salad is great. Mozzarella appetizer is yummy. Service is top notch.

Great atmosphere with a cozy bar in the heart of the theater district. We ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Lasagna. Both were good. The Lasagna is a heathy portion. Unfortunately my Spaghetti Carbonara for dinner seemed like it was made fresh for lunch and was sitting around. It was okay but I've had much better with a lower price point. With that said, this would have been a three star rating if not for the service provided by PETE!!!! What a great man who made our dinner very enjoyable, memorable, and fun. With lesser food expectations I would go back in a heartbeat to sit in Pete's section. Again, the food is good for family dining which I believe is the theme.

I've loved this place for breakfast for years and decided to try the dinner. The lasagna was rolled (!) and not very good. The atmosphere was louder and the service slower. Average for NYC and not exceptional.

Don’t be fooled by the external facade of this restaurant. The neon signage is gaudy and more resembles an adults only store (if you know what I mean). Get past this being extremely off putting and the restaurant is great inside. It more resembles what you’d expect a 1950s American restaurant looking like. The staff were perfectly ok but not particularly friendly. The food was excellent and the portion sizes (as always seems to be the case in NY) were huge. We really enjoyed our visit.

Staying at Hotel Edison, we decided to have our first night's dinner at Bond 45 so we didn't have to go outside in the 18 degree weather! Typical upper end NY Italian covers all the bases. We shared 3 items from the vegetable antipasto bar, a bit pricey for what we got. Cauliflower was excellent, broccoli rabe was stringy (maybe overcooked), vegetable tart portion was tiny. Veal cutlet milanese was a large portion, very good. Short ribs over polenta was excellent, tender, flavorful, very little fat. Finished with limoncello tart, almost like a key lime tart, but topped with burnt sugar for crunch. Professional service.

went there at 10 past 7 in the evening, staying at the Edison Hotel, were told they had only a slot at 8.15. No problem, had some drinks at the bar and by 7.30 the restaurant was as good as empty. By 10 to 8 I went to the lady who told us to wait till 8.15, asking why the restaurant had about 60 empty seats and we were still waiting ? We were told it's a theater thing, they all want to eat before and then comes the people who booked for when they come out. So at 25 past 8 we walked out as nobody paid us any attention and we could have eaten there 5 times while there were no customers. Highly unprofessional
Delicious and Great service!
Amazing meal. Food was very delicious. Server, Peter was one of the best we’ve ever had. Easy to find in Theater District.
