Great place with a very good menu, the waitress Sarraphina was so wonderfull , loved my experience! The food was good , the tartare was the best

This restaurant has an inviting atmospheres with beautiful Christmas decorations during the holiday time. The Boucherie burger was mouth watering and the coq au ven were delicious and portions were generous! Will be back!

Sarra was absolutely amazing! The nicest, most proficient server there is! I would most definitely come back with friends and family.

American-style French brewery, this changes a little without taking itself seriously. We eat really well, and the boss very nice. Apart from the air conditioning all windows open 😤, I recommend 👍

Highly recommend this place, the meat was tender, grilled (very tasty), and perfectly cooked (medium rare is usually cooked medium, but this place got it). Escargots were really good too!

Boucherie is one of our favorite spots. Great for dinner and drinks. The service is excellent and we cannot thank Pato and Nass for making it such.

This spot is great for an intimate dinner, or in my case a girls night out. Our waitress Saraphina allowed us to switch out tables. Plus, she was attentive and amicable. Our water cup was never empty, our food came out hot and fresh, and our drinks were tasty.

It is an excellent restaurant, the service was amazing (especially that of Marko and Sabbir). The food was also very good. We came on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful evening. Do not hesitate to come if you are visiting New York!

We had a wonderful dinner experience while on vacation in NYC. The hostess was lovely who seated us, and our server, Bojan, was awesome! Portions were bountiful, we had French Onion soup, Caesar salad, the chicken. Everything was 10/10!

Stopped in for a late bite after a movie, we originally had made a reservation but cancelled it to change of plans. We shared oysters, mesclun salad and appetizer portion of steak tartare. I liked that they had Fiddlehead on draft.

MARKO was the best server everrrrrrr. I do have a picky taste on wine but he knew my taste right after I said I like Pinot Noir. Our waiter Diego was awesome from the start! We ordered two cheeses and a jambon for charcuterie and they were very generous too. It was all delicious! After all of the bread and charcuterie, we were very full so just enjoyed the French onion soup, gazpacho, and salmon entree for my husband. All of it was excellent! Would definitely recommend this place for a casual, French bistro vibe.

We had an amazing experience! Pato and Oscar work excellent and treated us like Queens! I had the rose cocktail which was delicious. Highly recommend. Had the beef bourguignon which was fantastic and my friend had the filet mignon cooked perfectly. We both had cheesecake and it was a great choice to end the meal. Will definitely be back!

Amazing wine deal and Oscar was exceptional! Loved the fries, charcuterie and petit salad. Wine was kept on ice for us and poured often!

We had a reservation at 2pm but arrived at 1pm and were immediately seated. Our waiter, Arfon, was attentive and so kind. He helped me choose a cocktail and entrè and they were both delicious: La Vie En Rose and Salmon. For dessert we had the profiterole and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. Boucherie Union Square was the perfect restaurant for a lovely late lunch and Arfon made it a perfect day.

Fantastic service, my waiter even correctly guessed my date's dessert! The staff really knows their stuff and the ambience is cozy. I had the lamb and is was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the sauce pairs well with it.

We had dinner with my daughter at this restaurant during our trip to New York. Among the negatives: - Very high prices compared to a Parisian brewery (i.e. 80 EUR incl. tax) A rather noisy place. At the same time, the service is impeccable, the dishes attractive ... What impressed me most was the restaurant manager's handling of a problem with cooking my meat. I had asked for a bleeding entrecote and unfortunately it had arrived on time. I reported the problem to the waitress, who spoke directly to her manager. The latter came to me to see the cooking. She immediately offered to change it .... I indicated that I did not want to wait again to reach 30 min for a new plate ... Her reaction surprised me, she spontaneously, without a request from me, indicated that she was removing the dish from the bill ... Just for that the restaurant deserves 5 stars....! Moreover, even if the meat was ready, it was still a great taste experience. Therefore, if you are visiting New York and want at all costs a very good meat restaurant, the Butcher's is a very good choice.

We went for dinner before a show on a Friday night. Everything was still decorated for Christmas and it was super festive and classy. Decent cocktail selection and large wine selection. The bread with salt and butter was amazing. The French onion soup was the best I have ever had. We ordered the steak frites for our main course. They were really solid, but I had super high expectations after the bread and soup and I thought it could have been a little better. We didn't get dessert because we were so full but their options looked great. So glad we tried this restaurant!

My friends and I had a lovely time at Boucherie. Our charismatic server, Diego, recommend us some desserts. I got and enjoyed the ice cream, vanilla, chocolate, and passionfruit. My favorite is the vanilla ice cream. I think it beats out other dedicated ice cream spots.

Loved! Was taken here by work colleagues as was over from London. Loved the decor and ambiance. The portion sizes were really good. We all had multiple different options and no issues at all which when it's a large group this speaks volumes. Everyone was happy. Service was fluid and effortless.

I and my girlfriend spent Christmas Eve night in this place. The atmosphere, food, and particularly service were amazing. Our server was Marko; he even pleased us more than we expected, friendly, so kind. I haven’t ever met a server like him. Marko and this place made our Christmas’ Eve!

Deplorable service, revolting food (my steak was half gristle), and overpriced to boot! Not much to redeem this place and we were quite embarrassed to take our friends here. TripAdvisor got this one wrong - avoid.

Stumbled upon this on a Friday night visiting NYC. Beautifully decorated and they accommodated our table of 6 walking in. Amazing cocktails, got the Coucher de Soleil and La Vie En Rose. Such a great way to start the night!

With our lunch, we each got one small Diet Coke (that was full of ice) the size of our palm. Noticeably small but we didn't think anything of it. They got us a refill midway through the meal, again, seemed normal until... $32 on our bill for soda. I'm sorry, that's obscene and stupid for freaking soda. Sure, $8 for a soda at a nice restaurant, not great, but I'd let it go. But no refills at that price and not tell us? We left with the icks.

It’s been a while since I’ve been back to Boucherie, and it’s just as great as the last time I was here. They had some new desserts, and I tried the passion fruit ice cream which was delicious. We all demolished our desserts. Our server Diego was more than accommodating with our large group and was quick and responsive.

The union square location of Boucherie is the best in the city. The service is great and the location is the best. While other locations feels stuffy or filled with college kids, this location has a good mix of New York locals. The wait staff is attentive, the food quality is great, and the vibes are on point. It's also a pretty dependable place to book a last minute reservation for a romantic dinner setting. Try and convince the staff to sit next to the piano if you're on a date... Best seat in the house.

Everything from appetizers to salad, entrées, and especially the service was fantastic! A special surprise was the Le Delice De Bourgogne - a delicious blend of flavors. This is triple cream with berry jam and honey, and you with this appetizer!

We came here for dinner the other night and really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the service. A big bustling bistro reminiscent of Paris. Well worth the visit.

Came in with family and friends and we couldn’t have had a nicer time. Our server Colby was absolutely wonderful. He was so full of energy it made our meal even more enjoyable. Don’t skip on dessert. The cheesecake was fabulous.

Diego was excellent. Such a great waiter. And then the drinks. All so good. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. And then I had desert. Wow.

Perfect date night spot! Oscar was so great and responsive. Would definitely recommend! The atmosphere was perfect for the holidays and the food was amazing! The location is easy to get to off the 6 train and the service was amazing. Easy reservation process on Open Table.

The beef and frites was good The beef and frites were delicious—great flavor and perfectly cooked. Would definitely order again!

Dinner and dessert were delicious. We both ordered steak and it was cooked perfectly. Staff was also very attentive. Would definitely return.

Our server Bojam was spectacular. He provided amazing service and was such a joy to chat with. The overall atmosphere and vibe is cool and perfect for Christmas time. The French onion soup is very tasteful!! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in New York or is visiting!! Excellent service, food, atmosphere and overall a 10/10 experience!

Stopped by here with a friend for drinks and small bites. Our server Colby was wonderful and so accommodating. Perfect spot in union square to stop by during daytime shopping.
