The daughter of a Portuguese couple recommended this restaurant and we tried it tonight. We ordered grilled sardines and caldo verde as appetizers and two Gomes Sa codfish entrees for the two of us. The owner came to tell is it was too much food, to order only one entree. Who does that? He refilled our wine glasses “on him,” he exudes quite a warm, generous and welcoming personality. Sharing was certainly enough but had room for an almond tart, that was quite good. Again, sharing but my husband agreed just to please me. He had a couple of bites, I had half. Owner concerned if we didn’t like it. He asked twice, his concern so cute. I assure you, we did. We enjoyed everything, Good service, good food, a pleasant breeze at the terrace. We’ll be back.

My husband is Portuguese and we have been to Portugal several times. We ate at Braga Restaurant today and we were really impressed. Bolinhos de bacalhau were very tasteful with plenty of cod fish and Bacalhau a Gomes de Sá was also delicious, well seasoned and light. We are definitely going back!

We went as a family of 4 for an early evening meal. By the time we left the restaurant was lively, for a good reason. The atmosphere is friendly and the service charming. All the Portuguese classics are here, from traditional sausage to bacalao in every guise. If you are there on Friday, as we were, try the Cabrito, a hearty goat stew which requires a healthy appetite! There is a good choice of Portuguese wines, the Alento and Pegoes are stand-outs. You cannot do better for a lovely dinner in perfect surroundings in Miami!

Great experience!!! Wonderful and cozy restaurant. Authentic Portuguese food. We had Bolinhos de Bacalhau, Bacalhau a Bras, Grilled Octapus, Bacalhau de Natas and a Parrilhada de Mariscos. For dessert we could not miss the pastéis de natas. Everything was outstanding!!! Service was impeccable. Price is great!!! Don’t miss out on this hidden jam.

If you want to sample authentic Portuguese cuisine in Miami, don’t miss Braga Restaurant which offers a cosy dining experience with a menu that includes traditional Portuguese dishes, including its famous Bacalhau. The place is very central and the staff attends you that you make yourself at home and I assure them without mistake, that they will repeat this experience again.

This is a little gem of a place on Coral Way! If you’re looking to try really delicious and authentic Portuguese food, look no further. Well prepared, fresh, and presented by a friendly staff.

Nice place for Portuguese food lovers, with friendly service, and average prices. Easy parking. Suggest in phone them for booking.

Excellent attention from Raul and his team. Cozy and very good restaurant, the braga cod and the rice with duck. Prices more contained than other Portuguese.volveremos

This place is in my neighborhood but I guess I never thought it was a decent place until I was looking for a restaurant on a Saturday night for my family. The reviews were great so we wanted to give it a shot. When arrived, they were fully booked but since we had our 4 year old with us, they made a space for us! They are amazing! I never ever felt so special in anywhere my whole life! It is the coziest place ever! The service is over the top! The owner treated us amazing! Food is absolutely amazing! Sausage, tasted amazing and it had the best presentation! Shrimp, Lamp chops, sardines. All amazing. My kid just loved the fish on the kid’s menu. This is my only go to place for now on. My kid told me he wanted to come here everyday after school ( His school is across the street lol)

Amazing food and wine experience. Codfish well prepared and also sea food with green wine. Everything good and good atmosphere.

This place is so good! The food is fresh and delicious. We had the fried cod cakes for starter. It’s amazing and comes with the most delicious black eyed peas salad. For mains I had the bacalhau com natas which is a cheesy dish but it wasn’t overly rich or sickly. So good and they don’t scrimp on the bacalhau! The star of the show was the seafood platter. It included a huge piece of cod, another enormous piece of salmon, loads of vegetables, half a lobster tail, clams, calamari, shrimp, a whole octopus tentacle… easily enough for 4 people and we felt it was very decently priced. The seasoning on the food is excellent. For dessert definitely have the Molotoff. It’s an ehh white cake with a sweet custard on top. Really different. I’m so sick of the “chocolate cake, cheesecake, apple Pie” dessert options that all restaurants seem to have. The desserts here are all different and home made. The vinho verde was a very slightly sparkling dry white wine. It’s the first time I had it and I enjoyed it. It’s called something Gato. Definitely try it. This place is a hidden gem. It was packed so book ahead if you plan on coming during peak times.

Very friendly staff, very friendly price, generous portions, delicious lunch, nice house wine, value for money perfect. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service, we were very satisfied. We went for lunch, the person who served us was super friendly.

Braga is authentic Portuguese cuisine that will transport you to the city that is its namesake. The owner, who people affectionately call "Braga" is fantastic, very attentive and ensures that all his guests feel at home. The quality of the food easily rivals the best Portuguese restaurants in Miami and is always served piping hot. This has become a usual spot for us and we always leave the place extremely satisfied. The selection of Portuguese wines is very reasonably priced as well. Try the seafood rice or any of their cod selections and you won't be sorry you did. The octopus appetizer is flawless.
