Great place for Brunch or Evening with friends

By rattlebag |

Very nice atmosphere in this bar/grill, good standard of food and friendly and efficient serving staff in the restaurant. The cocktails are good too - try the Winter Old Fashioned!

Pause with typical American food

By Fernando F |

It has a very nice terrace to rest on visits to downtown. Very friendly staff. They serve brunch and burgers at lunchtime. We especially liked eggs Benedict and in chicken sandwich, desserts also very good

Good Service

By Mixilexi C |

nice bar and restaurant atmosphere, great service/nice waiter....food is o.k. nothing out of the world. One time is enough. Too much breading on the bang bang shrimp.

Okay

By greenlimo |

In the financial district. Two stories. Small tables. Smells like a bar. Food was average. Really nice people and service. Windows open on a nice day which is nice.

A little pricey.....

By TriciaGGG |

Went for an early dinner in FiDi. It’s a bit pricey. That said, the Broadstone Burger is absolutely terrific and the short rib tacos (on appetizer menu) are delicious. Skip the chili dip appetizer as it’s messy to eat. Our service was good. Overall very good experience and the large open window seating is nice on a breezy summer night.

What a great spot in the financial district. They have a great app selection and you can easily make a meal out of the apps. We had the meat candy app which is smoked brisket, was off the hook good.

American grill very good

By Manuel G |

American grill in lower Manhattan, very comfortable environment and food. We visited during the Christmas holidays which make the experience more suggestive. Thanks for everything

Awesome Cool relaxed chill place. OMG The Mega Mule, Gigantic Drink, must need in your life!

By No Daze Off |

If you coming from out of town you must, I mean, you have to try the Mega Mule Drink. It's a huge drink that contains 192 oz of Alcohol with Ginger beer. You have a choice of Vodka, Whiskey or Tequila. We chose the Vodka instead of the Tequila, because we wanted to last through the night. If we picked Tequila, oh man, that would of been rough. Moreover, the food was really good, I don't know about the other reviewers talking negative about it, bland taste must be their choice, but the food was really good. Something about there fries was so addicting. We all eat fries, but it had special seasoning and unique taste. Delicious! I highly recommend this spot to people. Either you're on date or especially with a group of friends this is the spot to go and chill.

Disappointed by the Host – Left Before Dining

By justFine |

Visited on April 30th around 7 PM and was informed there would be a 30-minute wait for a table. I asked if I could wait at the bar and have a drink, which was fine, but I realized as I walked away that there was no system in place to notify me when a table would be ready. When I offered my WhatsApp contact (as I’m visiting from the UK and don’t have a local number), I was told, “No phone number – no reservation.” This could have been handled much better by the front-of-house team. Unfortunately, I decided to leave.

Beautiful view

Lunch with family upstairs in this beautiful restaurant. Welcome to the top. Meals around salads and burger and all with a smile. Cheap and excellent bowl. Special mention for the.Aperol Spritz...

Nice lunch

By nancy a |

Soup of the day was French onion presented in a miniature cast iron pot so it was wonderfully hot. My friend had the sandwich of the day which was fried fish and thought it was very good. Salad or fries were offered in addition to Cole slaw and her side salad was fresh and well presented. The service was reasonably quick as they were very busy and she was on a lunch break.

Disappointing

By uoficpa84679 |

Went for brunch twice over the Memorial Day Weekend. Both times the server did not bring my complete order and forgot my milk on both occasions. The Waffle/Chicken sandwich was awful; the steak and eggs only slightly better.

Brunch

By paovince |

Stopped in for brunch because it was right across the street from our hotel. The place looked nice from the outside and the menu was inviting. The food was delicious! We were so glad we stopped in. I had the chicken and waffles sandwich and my boyfriend had the pancake burger which is a burger but instead of regular hamburger bun it's two pancakes. We didn't have any drinks so can't speak to that but the food is definitely worth it.

Amazing food and cocktails

By Jeremy Mahoney-Wright |

My husband and I were in NYC this past weekend with a friend. Her first trip to New York City. We stopped in at Broadstone Bar & Kitchen for cocktails and apps. It was a truly amazing experience. I had the Devil's Boot .....truly fantastic. The flavors were complex. I would highly recommend this cocktail to anyone who really desires something unique. My husband had the Purple Unicorn and absolutely loved it. Our friend had the Strawberry Fields and was enthralled. I also had a Martini...one of the best ever! The apps were perfect! Simply divine. We'll definitely be back on our next NYC visit.

New, nice kid on the block!

By amrisab |

This place just opened up recently and it was already packed by 5:30 on a Thursday. I guess what else do you expect of the work crowd in FIDI. Our group of 4 grabbed a table on the main floor by the bar and our server quickly took orders. We had our drinks arrive in about 5 minutes and my food came out maybe 15 later! Both were lovely. Service is friendly and attentive so we were really pleased. The burger I had was delicious! Definitely a new go-to for drinks and catching up after work.

Quick brekkie before the ferry

By Colin H |

It has been snowing all night so we was treading through all the white to find a spot to eat before we go on the ferry. I had an Irish breakfast which was nice, I love black and white pudding so it went down a treat and the mrs has eggs benedict which was so big she couldn't finish it.. It has sport showing on in the background which means I was easily distracted, but my kind of joint. Would recommend!

Nice find close to Battery Park and Staten Island Ferry Terminal

By theotherJTs |

On our recent visit to NYC, we enjoyed the best freebie in the city-the Staten Island Ferry. We were feeling more adventurous on this trip so we got off on SI and headed into town to find a local spot for a late lunch...no go...(we should have listened to the ferry terminal security guard who said "there is no place to eat within walking distance of the ferry on Staten Island." He would know, right? What goofy tourists we were!) After hopping on the ferry to return to Manhattan, and walking into Battery Park, we were really hungry and tired. We found Broadstone accidentally, and were happily seated upstairs where a nice breeze blew and it had the feeling of an open-air pub. Friendly service and good burgers and a very nice and fresh salad, cold beers. Our daughter ventured a bit food-wise and ordered the eggplant chips and meatball lollipops, but ate half my burger and said it was the best of our fare. Some unique choices available here, but the consensus of our group was that sticking to popular items is probably more of a sure bet for a good, satisfying meal.

Decent

By Dan W |

Food was pretty good, beer selection was ok as well. Not a bad experience but it was a little loud. I would go back but more for HH and less to talk.

Good quality food and service

By V_S197602 |

Good selection of standard fayre burgers, salads, etc. , friendly efficient staff and reasonably priced (for NY). If you’re in the mood for a pint then I’d recommend the Coney Island Merman IPA.

Good burger, great vibe

By LSUstew |

Stopped in and enjoyed brunch and bottomless mimosas Saturday. Service was very nice. There was a bit of confusion with our order, but it was quickly corrected and even comped without request. The burger and fries were delicious as were the mimosas, even though I'm not a fan of o.j. with pulp. Loved the atmosphere on the street level and would definitely recommend a visit.

A very eclectic menu

By BethP260 |

They have a great atmosphere and some very eclectic food options. I ordered the “meat candy” which was some delicious burnt ends. They also had a great bar with some fun Halloween theme drinks!

Dinner alone after a long day of work

By 785jimwilson |

Walked across the street from my hotel to grab a salad at this downtown establishment. Atmosphere is cool with open windows on first, second & third levels.

Lovely ambiance

By Catriona G |

On a Saturday night we had an upstairs table but could easily here the live music from downstairs. The menu was extensive and the food was really good, a large alcohol selection too. It wasn’t too busy so we could easily take our time and chat over a lengthy meal and drinks it was just the right ambiance to have a super family meal

Early evening dinner

By NikosManous |

Good food, fast service and reasonable prices. Centrally located and good environment. A little too busy after 6pm.

Quick bar service, and decent food

By stoppersays |

I had the chicken breast burger and chips, which were nicely cooked. There's a decent selection of beer on tap and bottled, including some local beers. My waitress was very attentive, and came to let me know the food would have a slight delay. Just a few minutes later the food arrived, so expectations managed well. The space downstairs is mainly taken up by the bar, with some 4 seater tables, a couple of groups larger than 4 people left as there wasn't space to eat

Lunch by the Bar

By HonestPee |

I visited on July 2, I really wanted to try the brunch but it was just lunch items so I decided to try a lamb burger although not a fan of lamb. The food came in a short period and it was a good burger. I was sitting by the bar and there's a large tv so it was pretty lively with World Cup football happening at the moment. Service was pretty decent. Definitely would eat here again when in the neighbourhood.

Broadstone

By royjaness a |

We called in there for a drink or two and Kim was our server. She is a lovely young woman and perfect for this job. Hi Kim hopefully we will see you another time. Roy Janess Arbon and Bev King from Australia

Good place to go after work with colleagues

By bcasey1 |

Good appetizers, cold drinks, nice open window -doors to enjoy summer evening breezes. Music a bit loud for conversation. Friendly service and fare NY prices. Balcony nice for taking in the sights and sounds of the city

Nice ambiance. East access to hotels.

By Dixiebliss |

The kale caesar was good. Courteous staff. Not a wait, esp sitting by myself at the bar. Good local beer selection.

Cool drinks & food joint

By Vacationer180984 |

Visited here whilst recently in NYC. Evening meal twice which was very good, excellent burger and strip steak sandwich with loads fries. Busy in the evening when we visited with friends for cocktails.

Best meal in NYC so far

By MJH1 |

Found this spot by accident It started to rain heavily and we literally ducked inside for shelter and a late lunch Cool setting Good music Friendly service A small menu but interesting And SUPER tasty and well presented Delicious

Fantastic food

By Scott5268 |

Visited after walking round 9 11 memorial and wall st in the evening. 3 of us where seated immediately upstairs on a high table on the 1st floor. We had the flatbread the chicken wrap and the burger. All with plain, garlic and sweet potato fries. Food was excellent. Staff where attentive and chatty which was a nice touch. Also entertained by some live music from a singer and his guitar who was playing on the ground floor Great atmosphere. Great food Can’t say better than that

Just Another Restaurant in the Financial District

By Joseph D |

Decided to give this place a try since it's right next door to my office. To begin we get there for our 12:30 reservation and there is no one at the reception counter to greet us. We are standing there a good five minutes before finally someone comes and brings us to our table. Our server greats us promptly to take our drink orders and about a minute later another server comes to take our drink order. Very unorganized group. The food was average, not bad but nothing that want me to go back again.

Great bar

By Richard J |

Absolutely loved this place. We stayed in the double tree hilton opposite for a few nights and this was our regular night spot after a long day walking. Great choice of beers and the barman (Eddie from Indonesia) was a great person. Would love to go back here.

Holiday

By Richy H |

Had burger and chips cant fault it couple drinks nice and relaxing ! Staff were great nice relaxing music for day time

AMAZING!

By Rob |

First time visiting. It was awesome. The service was phenomenal. The views of the Hudson and neighborhood are beautiful. The food and drinks were great. Annoying AC vent dripping the whole time and a bit over priced. But super good!

Good food. Great service.

By Adele R |

Just happened to be passing and decided just to pop in for a quick drink. We’re served very quickly by a lovely young lady. Ordered two cocktails. Very nice. Decided to order some food. A broadstone burger and some mac and cheese bites. Yes, it’s typical bar food but it was very tasty. Good atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Our server was very helpful in moving things so my partner could get a wheelchair into the restroom. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

Best burger i had in new york!

By Clive N |

Stopped in after going on the staton isle ferry and 911 memorial, place was busy but was seated quickly and as such a hot day on the outer part of the bar on floor 2 , service was prompt and the me u had a good selection of pub style food , what made it though was the steak burger with aged irish cheddar , absolutely delicious , family had a mixture of sliders and wings and all plates were cleared even the kids , really nice good quality food , not pricey for the location and would highly recommend the ground steak burger i had , cooked to perfection Good place to people watch aswell and though we only had a beer , the drinks menu was very good , when we come back to NYC and are in south Manhattan will definetly return

Good things to say about Broadstone!

By SWVA_Traveler |

A very positive experience start to finish. First, we did not have a reservation, and the hostess let us sit in the bar area, five of us at two small tables. She went the extra step to accommodate us. Thank you! Then, while the service was not quick, it was attentive and genuine. The food and presentation from the kitchen was notable. The bar area was beautifully decorated. I had a burger with fries. It was fine. The fish and chips was solid. Someone had the quinoa salad, another winner. I also had the house lager which was great with the burger. The beer was mild with a light flavor, and that was fine with me.

Not impressed, average at best.

By TweedleDee |

Actually, this bar/kitchen seems to be a common niche today. As for me, this type of place doesn't impress me. Menu items are more pretentious than delicious. Stopped by for lunch and even before I walked in I was just in the mood for a nice grilled chicken sandwich. A fairly simple item that isn't really that hard to do right and please. So I find they do have a grilled chicken sandwich but once I read the description I knew what kind of place I was in. Guacamole, lemon hummus, lettuce, pickles, grilled red pepper aioli, rustic focaccia bread! Seriously? Cant you just make a decent sandwich without trying to re-invent the damn thing! I then looked at the Broadstone burger and yep, same thing, so I just got slidders since they seemed normal.Service was ok, not much personality and the place is just to small as people literally were right up on our table as they stood at bar. I felt like asking them if they would like a fry!

Good food, inviting atmosphere

By BloomForImprovement |

What a great find on a cool fall day. My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant and were so happy with it! It was cozy with a warm atmosphere, there happened to be live acoustic music, which I love, and the food and drinks were very tasty.

Nice Open Place For Lunch

By Bill L |

We were walking around lower Manhattan, and were actually heading for Old Stone Street, when we saw this place. It has two levels and the street level side completely opens up. It was a great day so we went for rail side seating. Great service by Javier. We had a couple of frozen margaritas (very good) and a couple of chicken wraps. We were very full and very pleased to have come across this place.

Cool place to have lunch with a atmosphere, right place.

By Keith R |

Typical busy American bar with endless beers, great lunch time menu and very good service. The atmosphere is perfect for lunch and they looked after the kids

Perfect location and service

By reynoldsBA |

I brought a group of five students for lunch. The location was perfect. We sat outside. The brunch menu was fantastic. The service was really excellent! Highly recommended.

We visited twice...

By CheleDoubleU |

The Broadstone bar and restaurant was just over the road from our hotel in the Financial District, so we decided to pop in one lunchtime and we were pleased we did. The food and service were really good, we were lucky to get seated straight away, but this is very popular with the locals that work in the area and soon filled up. They offer a good variety of food from bar snacks, salads and sandwiches to pizzas and fish and chips. I enjoyed a great chicken wrap with salad and of course a cheeky cocktail as I was on holiday. We found the place so good that we returned a couple of days later to grab a quick bite in the evening and have a couple of drinks while winding down from the day, with the added bonus of a live singer that wasn't all that bad.

Great spot

By Mobile42311501295 |

Great spot, really nice staff. Mike behind the bar was wonderful, and pours a great pint of Guinness too! Highly recommend

Perfect place!

By Jolanta8074 |

Perfect food in the oldest street of New York City. The place is very cosy with perfect staff and delicious meal.

Historic Three story bldg

By Kathy s |

Busy Friday night crowd with very competent, fun staff. I was not real hungry so got the Lentil soup with bacon bits and a side of pretzels. Never had lentil soup before and thought it was very good. Another had the lobster ravioli and like it but it was listed as spicy and wasn't. Still good just not as listed.

Great food, great service

By aquamedic |

The restaurant was right across the street from my hotel. The food was very fresh and delicious. They had something for everyone including vegetarian options Food was served quickly and with a smile. We had a table outside which was perfect for our 5 people party. There are nice balcony tables upstairs for couples

Good food near the Staten Island Ferry

By Lyoder11 |

It was a rainy Saturday and we were looking for a pub type of place to eat. We decided on the Broadstone Bar and Kitchen and were please with our meals. It was not crowded at the time we went which was probably around 5:00 and we were seated on the 2nd floor of the restaurant right across from the bar. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Wrap and said it was served with "spicy aioli" but it was not spicy at all. I did ask for it on the side since I don't like spicy sauces. My husband ordered the Wild Mushroom Tortellini and was pleased with his meal as well. I would recommend this restaurant.

Terrible food and service...waste of a lunch.

By Kinnsao |

My sister and I were very excited by the promising menu and pleasant atmosphere. Our appetizer was ok, we got vegetable dumplings, price was steep but they were decent. The issue came when we got our mains. I ordered the chicken wrap, my sister got the roasted carrot salad. My wrap was literally inedible- very, very dry, and flavourless. I tried to get through it but I had to send it back after only two bites. I felt bad and said I would keep my fries. Swapped it out for a lamb burger. The burger itself was was bad too- burnt, dry, and the bun was dry and cold. Fries were McCain and ok. My sister's salad was awful, however. The roasted carrots were completely mushy and her salad had no flavour. Our server seemed polite, but it was obvious she was irritated with us, as a more assertive server started waiting on us. I was shocked when we got the bill. We not only got charged full price, but up-charged for the difference between the wrap and the burger. We paid 53 dollars for a less than half eaten and sent back lunch. Shameful. Avoid!

Very nice atmosphere

By citygirlNj |

My husband and I stopped there for brunch on a early Sunday afternoon. We really liked the nice big bar in there and the decor of the place. We chose a high top table by the bar and had a very friendly waiter. We just ordered beer so of course that was good but there were some different cocktail selections that look good. We ordered the flatbread breakfast pizza with the egg on it and it was very very good. It was huge we split it and we were glad we didn't order anything else. Great place, would love to go back again!

Nice place to hang out and people watch

By es c |

Came here for drinks with colleagues. Huge place with 3 floors, all decked out in wood. No elevators so the hike up to the 3rd floor requires some heavy breathing. Large windows on each floor opens up. Standing at the balcony on the 2nd and 3rd floors gives a New Orleans kind of vibe. Drinks were good. Had sliders and assortment of flatbreads. All delicious. Service was good as well.

A cosy place with extremely

By Anders E |

A cosy place with extremely nice staff! Very attentive and friendly. The food was also very good. Downstairs it’s more of a pub environment, but upstairs with proper service it’s more a dining area suited for conversation and socializing with your company.

Downtown Dining

By Nancy S |

I was meeting friends for lunch downtown and Broadstone seeme like a perfect location. It is very convenient and a large enough place that it wasn't hard to get a table. We all had different salads and the portions were very generous. A reasonably priced bottle of wine as well made for a nice place to kick back and catch up.

Nice bar with a good vibe

By Ruby S |

Cosy bar with a good vibe and great music choice. We had some great cocktails, very original ones too. The bar woman was cute and talented. Friendly staff, free wifi. Cocktails are pricey but nothing out of the ordinary for what you’d expect to pay

Great bar and restaurant in the Financial District

By Ross J |

Stopped here for lunch one gorgeous Saturday afternoon in the summer. They had the windows open to the street and a cool breeze was blowing through the place. The Brooklyn lager was great and the Broadstone burger was delicious (the bacon jam made it). It was a perfect Saturday lunch. Highly recommended!

Great 🍺 selection .. food & service!

By TRIPKG |

I love this place - discovered a couple years ago when roaming NYC. Being from Oregon - always looking for the good Beer selection. Love the beer and the atmosphere. The service was caring and on top of their job. Had a couple Cuban sandwiches - amazing flavors, we enjoyed both. I’ll be back .. again!

Food was delicious

By HaleyandSteve |

It’s a good thing we enjoyed our food, because our server forgot about us after the food was delivered. The view from the second floor was great; unfortunately, we had a group of girls behind us who got louder with every sip of their bottomless mimosas. Our Bloody Marys were made with a ridiculous amount of celery seed.

Brunch in a great location

By Nick P |

Stopped for brunch. $25 all you can drink for 90 mins. The food was delicious! We sat on the curb and it was so much fun to see NYC activity.

Enjoyable food, nice atmosphere.

By QSM42 |

A colleague and I visited after a long working day and enjoyed both our burgers and beers. The food was tasty and with good portions. The beers were cold and the staff friendly.

Great surprise

By KRISTIE M |

Stopped in when returning from Battery Park and the Statue. It was convenient and we were hungry. What a delicious meal. The fish and chips was delicious, a very large portion, that was so good we finished every bite! Good prices and service. This is a great spot!

Great brunch

By chp12 |

Ordered the Avocado Smash, which was was great, Eggs Benedict was very tasty. Nice location and great coffee! Endless bellinis were a nice touch.

Good food, simple food

By Bruce P |

Lively bar restaurant we came across whist out in downtown. Pub grub menu and pretty tasty really. I had the Beef Skillet Nachos and the wife had the Beef Sliders and I tell you what, Ill have them again. They were great, in fact everything that we saw come out of the kitchen looked good. We'll go back again, but it's too far from New Zealand.

Delicious hamburger

By Chiara R |

Nice spot in the financial district to get and taste typical american burgher. Perfect flesh with crispy french fries. Enjoyable piped music. Awesome place also to drink beers/cocktails.

Looks good and Tries hard

By Star707 |

The counter staff were sweet and attentive, really tried to make us happy. The bar filled steadily with regulars. A musician set up his gear and entertained us with American standards. The bar was well stocked, but we drank Peppermint tea. I ordered a full Irish Breakfast, after all, it was promoted as an Irish Pub. My dining companion ordered Eggs Benedict. The food looked great and some care had gone into preparing it. However, I just can't get excited about cold bacon, cold fried eggs, cold sausages, cold potatoes and cold baked beans, just doesn't make me excited. Don't know what happened between the kitchen and the bar, but our food arrived stone cold. The people serving us couldn't have been more attentive or more helpful, they were delightful. If the food was at least warm on the plate, this inexpensive dining option would be a must-return-to place. The Unisex Bathroom is clean and accessible. The bill was very affordable at $15 for a main course. The tea and coffee were "endless". Might give it another try because I want to taste the gluten free waffles.

Great bar. Good food service and drink offerings

By TravelsbyAZ |

Haven't been downtown in a while and went here for a work drinks. We had a private space on the 3 red floor which was nice. Stairs only from what we could tell so maybe issue for less mobile people. Once up there, there were Views of the river and the space was open so you didn't feel claustrophobic and had a nice breeze. Good selection of beers wines and other drinks. Reasonably priced too. Loved he Pinot noir by the glass. Food was surprisingly good. Would definitely return.

Nice place, good starters, ok drinks

By Kim_V_J |

We had an ok experience, good food, nice drinks, except the service from the manager, that was really bad - the waiters were very very nice, but then the manager not so much. So that made the experience less good.

Great views

By Purcell R |

Really good food. Super nice waitstaff. Only downside is all the steps you have to climb, but worth it!

Great New Bar in Financial District

By carlota369 |

We had a great dinner at Broadstone on a Thursday night. It was crowded and very lively, the service was good and they were able to accommodate our large group at the last minute. They had a great bar selection and the food was delicious! We made a dinner out of appetizers and flat breads and they were very eclectic but they were all very good! Would definitely return again in the future.

Great lunch

By Janice S |

We had a great lunch here: Cuban sandwich with fries (big enough to share) and vegetable dumplings, both fabulous. Just a nice place to drop in and be very pleasantly surprised.

Lunch after Statue of Liberty Visit

By Matthew N |

Close to battery park and the ferry. Restaurant opened at 11:30 rather than 11:00. Not busy despite reservations being filled up for the day. Short rib bowl was good but could have used more flavor. Appetizers of general tso’s chicken and everything pretzels were excellent. Fries were a table favorite.

Food was very disappointing

By Julie R |

The server was great and the restaurant/bar was nicely laid out. We were early for lunch and only one other couple were in the restaurant. I struggled to find something I fancied on the menu as I wanted the 'brunch' that was advertised outside, turns out that is only at the weekend. I opted for a burger as that is pretty straightforward. I ordered it medium but when it arrived it was cold, overcooked and very dry, who can't cook a burger! very disappointing. Luckily I had ordered a corn chowder- that was delish!

recommendable

By Diego P |

Food, typical American at a reasonable price and correct service, the price is also within what is expected, I recommend it if you are mainly looking for meat dishes, hamburgers and a little bit of fish but not much

Great service, solid drink selection, lively bar

By Mark S |

Stopped in here for a business meeting before dinner. The bar scene was lively and fun, financial district after work kind of place right on Stone Street, the bar district of downtown. Nice & roomy, well lit and not too noisy. Service was spot on, the drink recommendations were very nice and well poured & made. Pub food menu, we didn't have anything to eat but the group next to us seemed to be enjoying their plates of apps..

Thankfully a satisfying meal!

By palomino62 |

Eleven of us arrived here after a long day at Oktoberfest at the Seaport (which was a bit disappointing). We arrived around 8:00 and were seated immediately. Service was excellent. We had a variety of burgers, wings, wraps, flatbread, fried zucchini. Everything was very well prepared, French fries were crisp but the fried zucchini with honey was delicious!!! Would definitely return....maybe for brunch which sounds yummy!!!!

Non-Pretentious Wall Street Pub

By Zoom_Gotti |

Locals type bar and eatery near Wall Street and the Ferry. Varied menu with lots of small shareable bites. Pretty good beer selection. Offers some specials. Three TVs over the bar tuned to sports. It might work for you as a stopover to elsewhere.

Good burgers

By SigiL |

Before leaving NYC, I wanted to eat a real burger so I chose this place for that and it didn’t disappoint. Great opening windows when the weather is nice.

Nice Lunch Spot... Good Food!

By AfrinetNYC |

Broadstone is located near my work location and I’ve had lunch here on a few occasions with coworkers. We always sit upstairs. The service is very good and the food is tasty. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. I usually get a burger and fries. This is a good lunch spot. I recommend Broadstone and plan to return again.

Great Bar !!!!!!

By Go253975 |

This is one of the nicest and best bars in Financial District Mike and Fernando were the best bartenders we've had in a while!!!! So friendly and welcoming great conversation and prompt service!!! Highly recommend!!!

Best food I've had this trip!!!!

By Susan H |

I visited on Saturday 26th November 2016. . My son James and I had a lovely meal. The dessert was an amazing chocolate brownie. The staff were so nice. Thank you Catherine for excellent service. And to Robert who I know from Ireland. I couldn't recommend the Broadstone more folks. For atmosphere and good food you won't do better in lower Manhattan. Thanks guys. We will definitely be back.....

Great food great vibe

By Kylie S |

This place was lively with good quick service. The food was large and tasty and well priced. Highly recommended!

Wednesday Lunch at Broadstone Bar & Kitchen

By MooGooOne |

Wanted to try the recently opened Broadstone Bar & Kitchen which was formerly an Italian pizza parlor. We went on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and were promptly seated on the first floor. Since it was a summer like day in September the sidewalk windows were all open. If you don't mind the passing fire truck with sirens blaring, cement mixer pouring concrete at the construction site a few yards away and impatient taxi driver blowing the horn at the slow moving vehicle then you won't mind being seated on the first floor. When you go insist on upper floor seating if you plan on having a conversation with your fellow guests. Service was courteous and expeditious. Menu was varied. We opted for the grilled chicken breast sandwich ($14) and grilled salmon sandwich ($17) which were both served with skinny French fries. We limited our drinks to a lemonade and a club soda. The food was fresh and not overly filling for those counting calories. We inquired about dessert but were told none was available. BB&K may still be getting their feet wet. Total bill with tax and tip for two was $50.00. Don't forget the Financial District is now high rent as most of Manhattan is. I should mention that people who came in after us sat at the bar and ordered which meant they had their back to the previously mentioned distractions at street level. I would go back but would make sure to sit upstairs.

Gentrified Pub

By therealbmayer |

Broadstone is located in the Financial District and is essentially a high-class TGIF's. The menu is as expected, with variations of tacos, spring rolls, wraps, burgers, flatbreads, etc. It is all edible and fine with no standouts. The beer is cold, though, but a tad overpriced.

Great place in the financial district

By Acuragirl2 |

It was our first visit to Broadstone and it did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere. Great food and drinks. We had all of the flatbreads, pretzel, sliders, meatballs and onion soup dumpling appetizers. Our favorite drink was Strawberry fields. The manager, Jarek was very helpful and friendly. We loved all of his recommendations. We will visit Broadstone every time we are in NYC.

Very helpful and friendly staff

We visited this restaurant twice during our vacation in New York City. First day we asked if they could show a soccer game on one of the tv:s they have. There were no problem. The food was very tasty and fresh.

Quick, tasty food & good beers

By Erin B |

Came here straight from airport/check in to nearby hotel. Seems to have plenty tables, we didn’t have reservation. Decent range of beers & drinks, ordered some food between 3 of us and what we had was spot on! Brisket nachos were fab. Unsure on value for money but we are from London and seemed right price for city. Happy for us to have 7 year old at 9/10pm

Great music, cocktails and food.

By Emily H |

Loved it here. The music and atmosphere were great and on Friday night live music entertained us. The staff went above and beyond and the general manager made us so welcome, in fact in our 5 days in NY we visited 3 times. The cocktails were great, all be it a little limited in choice and the food was perfect. If in NY and looking for a great atmosphere I'd highly recommend.

Great dinner on a Friday night

By Kim K |

Broadstone was around the corner from our Hilton hotel. We hit it at happy hour on a Friday and it was great. They have awesome vegetarian options and we ordered a bottle of their sparkling rose to go with them. Yummy! Sit upstairs in the open air to watch the street go by.

So glad I ventured in!

By TRIPKG |

Wandering the financial district and the 9/11 memorial I'm so glad I stopped in here. Following a day of sightseeing, this is just what the doctor ordered. Great beer selection (I'm a NW Beer snob) had the Flower Power IPA from Ithaca - great beer btw. Also ordered the Thai Deviled eggs and vegetable dumplings. GREAT presentation and GREAT tasting! The service was efficient, friendly, and unobtrusive. I'll be back in two weeks with some newbs to NYC - they will LOVE it!

Lunch at Wall Street

By Vanessa |

Nice place near the Wall Street buildings. It was one of the few places open on New Year’s Day, the food was good as well as the atmosphere.

Good drinks and food

By Cooliocutie |

We stumbled across Broadstone after our ferry ride to see Lady Liberty. This is a great cozy spot in the finance district with good drinks and food. We got the nachos which we're really tasty - more like a chili dip with tortilla dips but very good. Every dish that passed us to the other tables looked amazing which made us want to try other things on the menu next time. Food here definitely is well above average.

Sight Seeing with Ty!!!

By LJTHESPEAKER |

Nice atmosphere and good music!! Service was great. Tys phone was dead and the hostess Jazz found a seat to help him stop crying. Lol.. Good tines!!

Sunday brunch

By Lis O |

Visited on Sunday; they open at 11am. Ordered the skillet chocolate chip pancakes and it was delicious. Casual place that has a bar. Nice music and great service. I would go back. No reservation needed. Good place for a good Sunday brunch.

Terrible value

By tngregscott |

Went here to eat with kids, not enjoy the bar. This might be a great place for a drink with friends and watch the game. But, after waiting forever for someone to actually take our order, we spent a ton of money on small portions (4 meatballs for $15) and service that felt like we were in the way. Lots of restaurants in NYC - try some of those.

Disappointing

By Catherine S |

I ordered a glass of white wine at the bar. The bartender said it was $14.00. They have very tall white wine glasses which they fill half way. When I checked my change, I had four dollars out of my $20. So, with tax, she rounded up to $16 vs. taking out the $15.15 that the drink cost. This place is a rip-off. I'll never go back.

A great find downtown NY.

By DEPISC |

Very good place to hang out. Great food. Great service. And the NY cheesecake is awesome!! Great find! Had the steak sandwich. Delicious.

Very good Fish and Chips

By Ralf W |

We had a nice dinner upstairs. We were 4 people. The fish and chips were amazing. My wife said:”better as in England and Ireland” They serve Guiness, the local lager was not so good.

Happening bar/restaurant in the Financial Distric

By Sarah F |

We've stayed in this area several times and walked by this establishment many times, but decided on a whim to have dinner there during our last trip to New York. Baseball was on, so it was busy for 7:30 on a weeknight. It looks like a lot of clientele are people who work in the Financial District and grab food or drinks after work. Service was good and the food was really good. My husband enjoyed the Cheese Burger Sliders and I enjoyed the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Good variety of options on the menu.

Average isn't Bad or Great, it's Average

By Gary B |

The Broadstone Bar & Kitchen is a good location for a get together with friends where you'd like to have a few drinks and get some decent bar food. Prices aren't bad for this part of NY City either. I had a steak which was cooked correctly and a beer - total with tax, minus tip was $41. Overall, my impression is that the service, food, and atmosphere are average for being in the Financial District of Manhattan. I give it a passing grade, but will be trying other places while in this city.

Fun and filling

By Shirley H |

Fun atmosphere and food was good. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I came here twice during my stay because I enjoyed it so much

Great Place to Eat and Have a Drink

By DP8508 |

Great atmosphere. Great Drinks. Good Service. Food was good too. Perfect location. Thanks, will be back

First visit was mightily disappointing

By OnTravelsAgain |

On our previous visit to NY we had intended to visit Broadstones, but it was closed on the day we tried on the run up to Christmas, so on this visit we ensured we made it. Unfortunately only to be disappointed. We sat at the ground floor bar and was served by a bar tender who could have been classed as rude. We had the ‘nachos’ which was basically nacho chips with a dip side. Overall, a real disappointment.

Busy place

By ataglance |

This restaurant has two floors, if you get a choice stay downstairs. It is a little less noisy also upstairs can be a little cool as the a/c is cranked. We had to move tables as it was right on us. Good wait staff, food good nothing to special and prices are good for where you are at in lower manhattan. Would not hesitate to return again.

Must Visit

By darren b |

Great Staff, friendly and attentive without rushing you. Food was great and plenty of selection of Beers. The Chips were different but the best i've ever had, seasoned to perfection.

Solid Sunday Bar

By bret j |

Found this little gem on my recent stay in NYC as my hotel was across the street. Solid service and more than reasonable prices (which can be hard to find in NYC). Three things you should know about this bar and why it is the ideal place to catch the Sunday NFL slate. First, the bartenders know how to pour a good Guinness and they must turn over the kegs regularly because the beer is top notch. Second, for you fantasy gamers out there, this is one of the few bars I know that plays the Red Zone so you can keep up with how your team is doing. Finally, they have the best lamb burger you will ever taste. One more thing, the kitchen is on the third floor so food comes to bar at bottom via dumbwaiter which is pretty unique.

Ok Food & Loud

By Joseph D |

Took a coworker to here to discuss some work plans over lunch. Since it’s a multilevel restaurant you would expect that it has a lot of room, but it’s actually quite narrow and when the windows are open the street noise engulfs the entire place. The menu is nothing special and the food matches, nothing special. Ok for a business lunch or after work drinks, but not more than that.

Yuppie Irish

By Wayne D |

Good restaurant and bar. Think Irish Pub with a yuppie vibe. The decor was eclectic, with a big Guinness sign over the bar with a count down timer for St. Patrick’s Day. Seating was in high, bar style chairs. While we were there they had a singer with a guitar and he was surprisingly good. There were the obligatory TV screens, but they did not seem to be everywhere. The background noise, even with the music, was at a decent level and we easily held a table conversation. The food was ok to good. We had the meatball lollipops. Honestly, they were a little bland, but I would eat them again. The eggplant was excellent, likely the thinnest and crispiest fried eggplant that I have ever had. They served it with honey, which was tasty, but ranch might have been better. Overall, good local bar and convenient to several hotels. Not too crowded as several others were

Great location, nice place

By Michael S |

Solid all around joint. Only went for a lunch (burger) so can’t say much more than that the service was very good, it was very lively and the food was tasty. It was a warmer spring day so they had all the windows open there meaning that, more or less, it felt like you were eating outdoors. Had a nice view of the surrounding streets and a nice breeze. Menu looked good. Broadstone Burger was great.

Nice variety of lunch items

By gjkNY |

We stopped by for lunch one afternoon. We were able to get a seat upstairs where the windows are open during good weather. I ordered the Roasted carrot salad with baby kale, arugula, roasted rainbow carrots, dried cranberries and toasted walnuts tossed with a sherry vinaigrette. I was also able to add a grilled chicken breast to make this the perfect salad. My husband and son ordered the ribeye steak sandwich with sautéed red peppers, onions, cheddar cheese, mushrooms, arugula and chimichurri sauce on rustic focaccia bread. Very tender and cooked to perfection. They offer a full bar service complete with wine, beer, spirits and cocktails.

Really good service and food, cool atmosphere.

By nickisee |

I ate here alone on a work trip at the bar. I really liked the atmosphere. The bartender was good and quick. My food was really excellent, I had the buffalo chicken eggrolls and they were super good. Definitely would eat here again if working in the area.

Nice lunch around wall street

By ironmet |

Location quite cool, at a low distance from wall street, kind staff but a little slow in the service. I ate the flat bread, similar to an hamburger and it’s ok, impossible to eat it all because it’s really too much, the salad is good, the hamburger is ok but onestly.. in New York it’s not the place where to eat them. Good prices, i suggest it for a lunch or a brunch

Great surprise!

By Alan L |

I stopped in on a Tuesday night, arriving early for a Wed meeting. I didn't expect much. It looked cool from the outside...3 similar levels with large windows, TV's and a long bar (I believe) on each floor. The first floor was completely full so I went up to the second level and sat at the bar. I ordered the salmon and was encouraged when the bartender asked me how I wanted it cooked..."medium please". Everything was cooked perfectly, the salmon, the veggies and the rice. I was very pleased and asked the bartender to tell the chef.

Avoid at all costs. You’re welcome.

By Bill R |

Avoid at all costs. Service at the bar is nonexistent. Good luck getting your food before it gets cold (or room temperature if you’re interested in ice cream).

Great food and draft selection

By Thomas - Genevi... H |

The selection of draft beers was broad and had good local representation. The food menu is limited, but has pretty good quality. The hamburger and side salad were delicious; I'd recommend highly. I'd recommend asking to NOT sit at the street level. The balcony seating is a much better experience.

A quick bite before the road.

By Richard F |

Clean and convenient location. Friendly staff. Great menu options. The Broadstone burger was delicious. The fries were thick and amazing too.

Excelent place

By Clemente S |

I like it good place good tables good chairs good burguers good beers good service etc etc etc etc i recomended

Brunch-a-licious Kitchen

By Ellenlyn |

Much to see in the financial district, not enough pubs/taverns. This one fills the gap nicely. This restaurant has two floors and the doors open to a half balcony, where we sat. The atmosphere is certainly nice enough, but the food was very good: Hamburger, Eggs Benedict and Cobb Salad all get an A+! Our service was prompt and attentive. Drinks were good. We all enjoyed our brunch!

Holiday visit

By paulamcenroe |

Delighted we found this place. Very welcoming crew, Food was fab, service & staff were more than helpful after a long day touring.

Nothing More than a Good Breeze

By nps114 |

We've lived in the area for a couple years now and have repeatedly tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. From 3 of 4 people getting sick after eating fried food here, to our waitress disappearing this weekend, to the burger U ordered having the paper still left on the slice of cheese and melted onto the patty. Don't waste your time here unless you're just looking for a quick drink after work.

Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. Service not so good.

By leslee24 |

The food was delicious especially the short rib bowl. Large portion for lunch so I took some leftovers home. The hot apple cider was also very good on the cold, rainy day. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Candles on the tables but still casual. But our waitress had not tried the 2 entrees I was trying to decide on. It seems that the staff should at least try all the menu items or know about them. I ordered one apple cider drink. After I got it she tried to bring another. I hadn't ordered another one. The bill was the worst. She charged me for an alcoholic drink but I didn't have alcohol. Then after she adjusted our bill when she brought it back it was now $40 higher! Somehow we got charged for a strip steak now! She was trying to say our total bill was correct. Very upsetting. Maybe she was just having a bad day?

Lunch after Great Meeting at the MTA

By tdtuck |

After a great meeting at the MTA, myself and several colleagues stopped at the Broadstone, and the service was excellent, the bartender was prompt, professional, and courteous. I ordered the Chicken Wrap and two draft Blue Moon beers. The food was great! I used the bathroom, and the bathroom was spotless! I shared this with the bartender, and we both shared a laugh! Good Place, Good People!

Good business lunch

By Mike A |

We got here early and sat upstairs. We ordered a few appetizers for the table which we all enjoyed. We stayed there talking business through lunch and weren't harassed to leave although they got busy. Two other colleagues met up with us during the lunch and we needed a larger table. The staff was very accommodating and moved us to a larger table. We then all ordered lunch which everyone was happy with.

Great (surprising) bar food and service

By andal03 |

Went here for a company event. Food was quite innovative for a bar, and tasted great. Wine pretty decent and service very good. Definitely recommend.
