Lovely vibe and Sergio you have my heart, you are a “legend among legends” and you know who we are. Thank you for the lovely time. Only thing I’d say is teach your bar staff how to pour a proper pint of Guiness 😎

We wanted a chill out evening and came here for some food and for some relaxation. A good local place with excellent service and a good choice of food and drinks. The clientele was a good mix of office staff enjoying an evening, students, tourists and locals. Great spot for a chilled out evening.

Great NYC bar with rock music from the 80s & 90s. Though we didn't eat, the food looked great. The bar staff were friendly

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick bite and a cocktail. We were seated immediately and had our drinks and menus within a few minutes. The place is TIGHT!!! I literally could've held hands with the person next to me (not my wife, she was across from me), without stretching my arm. Our waitress was attentive without overdoing it. I had the burger which came in a pita and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I believe the Warden had a salad, which she said was delicious. The whole process took about 45 minutes and we left quite happy that we found this gem !

We walked past this bar earlier this afternoon and thought we would give it a try in the evening ,on arrival we were shown to our table adjacent to an open window so we could watch the world go by , our drinks order was taken and quickly arrived the Brooklyn lager is very nice ,our meal order taken and this too arrived very quickly ,all cooked to perfection and very hot, the food and service could not be faulted and this place is a definite jewel in NYC and should not be missed ,if given the chance we will return this trip .

saw the meatballs on the chalkboard from the street, i had to have them, very tasty but heavy on the tummy

After a visit to Chinatown, my husband, son and I stopped at Broome Street Bar for a late lunch. I ordered the nachos. The guys each had a sandwich and soup. Nachos were nothing spectacular. The soup (chicken vegetable) and both sandwiches were amazing and piled high with meat. They do charge extra for “refills” on the soft drinks.

Fabulous staff. Relaxed atmosphere and the food was great. Will visit again next time I am in New York.

Stumbled across this place accidentally and what a nice surprise. Ended up having several nice pints and ordered a few items off the menu. The atmosphere was very quaint and the service and food were excellent. The bar/restaurant area has large windows that allow for good "people watching" (NY's favorite pastime, right?).

After quite a bit of walking, this was the ideal place to stop in for a drink! I just needed to get off my feet for a bit in some place that wasn't big and stuffy. This is the perfect place, friendly staff, good beer and the good music that I played on the digital jukebox!

Very nice place for a beer and drinks with family and friends. Typical pub menu, good beer assortment but would not recommend the wine selection. Service was okay, even though not the friendlier I’ve seen in NY. Good for a quick stop if you’re passing by.

Only stopped for quick drink, but so at ease we had a couple. Nice friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. Good range of beers, realistically priced for where we were. Quite a few people eating and the food looked pretty good. When in Soho, it's worth a stop.

Great little bar, was friendly with good music and drinks! Food selection looked good although we didn’t eat, enjoyed a few drinks in here and enjoyed the atmosphere!

Great bar food, personable patrons, attentive barman. Chatted with locals and stayed longer than i normally would. The steak quesadilla was delish.

We sat down with our two teenage daughters and my husband asked the table next to us if we could check the menu card on their table. They said yes of course. A blond lady came later to our table and started shouting at us and said; you cannot take. Menu card from another table, that is not hos we work here!!!! My husband replied that he asked the people before taking and she repeated herself very aggressively. We were about to leave but too thirsty so decided to stay. Than my husband went to the toilet and inside this person said to him, oh so now you have to go to the toilet!?!? We really could’t believe how rude this person was to us. Such a pity…

From outside it looks like a normal Pub. nice service and atmosphere. Tuna melt sandwich and peanut pie is a must try.

My wife said this place used to be a cool place to have a drink. We visited early one evening before dinner. There were two couples at the bar when we sat down. After a while I finally was able to get the bartenders attention. He was very busy listening to someone's conversation. He looked like he had just gotten out of bed Anyway, we got our drinks. Just in front of us was a long string of dirty glasses that needed to be cleaned or taken away. We left before finishing. This place has all the charm of the Port Authority terrminal

I don't care if you don't drink but this is place to go for their food. We haven't been here in years (after eating here on a regular basis about 15 yeas ago) and it hasn't missed a beat. We found this place (the front room is a bar with the most gorgeous stain glass window over the bar) and up three steps to a dinning area that hasn't change in 40 years. Elegant it ain't but who cares. The menu hasn't changed much. Still the great hamburgers, great sandwiches on pumpernickel and the best cream of tomato soup I have had in more years than I care to remember. Sit in the back room--less noise than sitting at a table in the bar area.

Wood floors, old windows, friendly prompt service on a busy corner. Wide selection of beer, and surprisingly excellent guacamole. Good vibe and clean restroom. Lovely.

four of us stopped by before heading over the Bowery Meat for dinner. We had a few drinks, were pleasantly surprised the house wine and beer were 2 for 1 at 6:30 on a Saturday night. The but is a scary to me anyway. I noticed a back back on the floor next to me at the bar. I asked the people next to us and it was not theirs. I brought it up to the bar tender and she basically blew me off. I felt it to see what might be inside because a backpack left unattended in any setting these days especially a bar in NYC was very disturbing to me. I waited another 15-20 minutes before saying anything else and this time I told the bartender it had a laptop in it. At least it seemed to be to me without opening the pack. I was again blown off by the bartender. We left shortly thereafter and I am glad it was not a bomb left by someone and hopefully the owner was able to retrieve his or her laptop. Minimally I expected the bartender to at least take it and put it behind the bar. I could have easily walked out of there with it, but the bigger issue is one I was disappointed was not addressed. I know I was nervous until we left shortly thereafter.

After walking for most of the morning and in need of refreshment we came across the Broome Street Bar. Had a really warm welcome from owner, bar staff and regular customers. Enjoyed a "good pint", really tasty food and a relaxing couple of hours. Were invited to write a postcard which would be posted by the bar. It followed us home and sits on a shelf in our kitchen.

We were there in the afternoon for a drink and had a very nice time with the bartender and his girlfriend who also recommended a great place to have dinner later. Would certainly go there again next time we're in N.Y.

The Broome Street Bar is the bar where I have to be at least once while visiting the City. First time I enjoyed the delicious Cheeseburger wrapped in Falafel bread was in 1987. Nothing has changed since than and this is great. It‘s like coming home. Local beers are served icecold. Service ist great and the owner is making sure everybody is leaving the place happy.

We went in to get away from the rain and ended up staying several hours. We had a great time, lots of nice beers, very nice food and excellent service. Great bar.

I have been brought here by a local friend who probably knows every burger place in NYC. And he said this one is the best one. So I tried it ... and it was amazing!

Really good food. Excellent vibe. Latest visit My wife and I had - nachos (finished them and ordered another) and Brooklyn Lager on tap. This is a must do in Soho

My husband and I went there like a week ago, one of the best places we're been to. Good service, good attention, everything was excellent. If we ever go back to NY we would definiteley go back. The food was delicious and the serving size too.

If been here twice now within a week. With the vast amount of great places that tell nearly enough. Great, lovely statt, great food. Interesting people, a place to have a quick pint or spend all day. Good music too. Highly recommended.

Good change of ambience from many other bar/restaurants. Enjoyed the wine, specialty beers, and light food.

This was just such a fab little bar to stumble upon. It was full of locals. The menu was fab. It was a real mix of food. We had some chilli (yummy), nachos with guacamole & sour cream and a pastrami and cheese sandwich with fries. We shared it all between 2 and it was just delicious. We had a bottle of wine to share and 2 cokes as well. Only complaint was the French Sauvignon was actually an Italian Sauvignon but it was nice. The atmosphere and the buzz was brilliant I’d highly recommend.

My husband and I were biking/walking through NYC and stopped here for a drink. It looked a little sketchy from the outside but was fine once we got in. We sat at the bar and ordered two beer, bartender was friendly.

Had a great lunch here can highly recommend the blue cheese and pear salad. Big portions and great value, washed down with Brooklyn beer, good times 😊😊

Local bar with music thru jukebox. Not too loud to have conversation. Menu is limited but food is good. Service could be a bit more friendly as quite stiff but overall good experience.

Stopped in for a delicious pita burger and stayed for a few drinks. Festive yet laid back! Excellent service. Thank you!

We've been coming here, on and off, for over 35 years. Nothing has changed...great atmosphere, wonderful view of Soho, and the best burger in NYC...we hate sharing this place with the rest of the world.

Sat down with my teenage aged kids for a quick pit stop last afternoon and was told, after ordering nonalcoholic beverages, that the bar only serves people who order food and / or alcohol. The manager said they are being monitored by camera and that the owner has made it clear that they need to steer away from customers like us. If you’re worried about profit, set a minimum. Knowing that we were not ordering a lot, I would have left a very good tip. In either case, something is very off about this place. Very off.

Great bar, great atmosphere, delicious food, brilliant location, top notch service. Every time I visit New York I go here for a burger, a beer and to while a few hours watching a game orwtching the world go bar. The location is perfect for people watching. I think it’s great value for money and is always comfortably busy. Would highly recommmend it to anyone.

Great bar, with music and great food, the burguer it is amazing , they also have a tuna melt on pita bread delicious..

We had just finished a walk from Midtown down along the High Line and were looking for something between the end of HL and the Tenement Museum.(We actually followed the Hudson down to the Hudson River Park Trust complex...very cool space!) We just happened upon the Broome St Bar. The sandwich board caught our 15 y.o. daughter's eye, so we stopped in. My wife got the hummus plate. It was delicious. Our daughter and I got the smoked turkey and roasted pepper sandwich. For our sides, she took the chips and had the salad. The salad was very good; fresh greens and a great vinaigrette dressing. I also ordered a small portion of hand-cut fries.... wished I'd gotten the large order! These were done to perfection. Just barely crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. So good. Tap beer selection was ok. I'm an IPA guy and wasn't sold on their selection so I had Brooklyn Brewery's Lager. Gave it a 4.25 on Untappd. Lager lovers may not agree, but I thought it was good. Overall, we were very pleased we stumbled upon Broom St. Bar and would recommend it. Very charming atmosphere.

That was delicious and definitely worth every cent! Food had arrive quickly and it tasted great I had ube burger and a bun had funny purple colour. Friend of mine had chicken and it was cook to perfection. Very nice host and good quality of non alcoholic drinks. I like the interior as well by the way

Nice atmosphere, nice food. Handy for a quick drink ( or a long one!) Handy if you are shopping and it was around the corner from our hotel.

We went here for a couple of drinks before dinner. This was a great find, the place was characterful and what you expect from an NYC bar. The service was great and very friendly. They had good music and a nice ambience to the place.

We again have a dinner, after less than one year in this pub. We eat the hamburger, is good but different respect the standard burger: it is revered in pitta bread and with chips. Good service. Has been incredible that the onwer still remembers of me and my family after one year.

In Broome Street Bar I ate one of the best hamburgers I have ever tasted. Maybe it was just that I was wore out after five hours of walking through the streets of New York, but I found the combination of soft pita bread, tasty meat and delicious American cheese incredible. I liked it so much that I returned two days later. Besides, the place wasn't excessively crowded, so I definitively had a good meal.

We were in town for the marathon, had an early dinner at Max's then headed over to Kenn's Broome Street bar for a few drinks. They moved tables around so we (10 of us) could sit together. The owner came over and we shared some good-natured sports ribbing. Everyone was so nice it felt like we were locals.

Good food in Soho but not at Soho prices. A relaxed ‘sit at the bar and chat’ type place where the food is proper pub food and the beers are cold and reasonable. What’s there not to like....?

Fell upon it after a long morning walk. Great service, lovely decor, great food. Great nachos to start, pastrami sandwich with cup of chilli was great.

Stopped just for drinks. Depressed was so-so. Biggest issue was street noise. We were there on a Friday afternoon and the bar is right near several streets that feed into the Holland tunnel. Constant honking as traffic from cars blocked the intersection the entire 30 minutes we were there. We didn't try the food so I can't provide any help on that front. Might be more like likeable at non-rush hour times.

This was our first stop while visiting The Lower East Side (which I highly recommend) This is a relatively small corner bar with large windows perfect for people (and dog) watching. Our server was fast and friendly and the drinks were good and moderately priced (for NYC). We had the cheese platter and chips and salsa which were quite good. A real nice visit.

Super cold day and was wandering around SOHO alone waiting to meet my wife for 5 pm dinner. Enjoyed an Irish coffee while killing time. Then went across street to Mirabelle for chocolates.

We went here with a group of six. It was Saturday night, the place was packed. They sat us quickly and were quick to get our drinks. I thought it was going to be a typical bar food menu but, it was so much better! I had a vegetarian burger that was fantastic. The food looked great all around the table. I would eat there again.

Great neighbourhood bar with really good food. We were back here over a couple of times - my husband had the cheeseburger with pita bread and salad and being the burger connoisseur that he is, according to him, the burger was awesome. We had nachos which were good for vegetarians and it was really good too. I had tofu salad with corn and noodles coupled with grilled chicken which was good too. Oh and they do daily specials- check out their clam chowder if it is on. Very good! Fantastic service either at the bar or the table. Will definitely visit again!

Walking around Soho needs a rest and this place looking interesting. Wasnt sure at first as we sat in the bar and was ignored for about 5 mins as the were busy taking an order in. However, we orders drinks and sandwiches and had a brilliant time. The barman and also a customer (local) made us feel so welcome and the food was great. It was a shame to leave and we werent able to return.

A bit dark, good service and nice hamburgers, a nice break when walking in Soho, the hamburgers are served in pita bread, and are quite nice

We were visiting the city over the holidays and I went here 2x. Once with my daughter (21) and once with a group of friends!! I loved the atmosphere inside, tried my first Brooklyn Lager (loved it) and had some really good pub style food. The burgers and fries were great and both time the staff was fun and made it an overall great experience!!!

Whilst on holiday, my family and I popped in for some dinner. The service was fantastic, the staff friendly, the atmosphere was fabulous, the food was really tasty and the bill was reasonable. The children enjoyed the food and the staff were not rushing us out, unlike other venues. Trendy but unpretentious, I would really recommend this homely place.

Went here lunch, and had an omelette - it was very good. The waitress was happy and pleasant. I enjoyed the "pub" feel of the place and felt comfortable there. The staff were generally welcoming. I will return here.

We had great food at an appropriate price. They had a mailbox so customers can send a postcard from there.....my kids in Spain just got the one we sent that night!! Neat!!

Great little traditional pub on Wast Broadway. Staff is very friendly. Try the Soho Lemonade and the cold gazpacho soup.

A good menu, nothing fancy but tasty with generous portion sizes. Good array of beers and ok service which allowed us to grab a bite to eat prior to heading off to another booked experience close by

Met my sister-in-law here for Saturday afternoon lunch - I was surprised we got right in it was so crowded. We were lucky enough to be sat by a window so we could watch all the shoppers go by. We shared the pear, cashews and feta salad and the tuna salad sandwich. More than enough food for 2 people. A very nice place to pass an hour and enjoy a very good meal.

Looking for a nice place to stop by and relax in SOHO? This place is cozy with just enough spunk to help with phase 2 of your shopping day. A pick me upper so to speak. Friendly bartenders, a small but decent menu with many drinks plus micro brewed beers to choose from. A perfect little stop.

Hubby had a bacon burger in a pitta bread and I had BLT on rye, both served with potato chips. Food was great and the service was fantastic! Only downside was the loos! A bit smelly, but when you're desperate!!!

Came here a few times during our weeks holiday in nyc. Nice brisk staff. No frills but a good bar in the busy area of soho. Food ok - standard burgers and nachos but good to fill up when you’ve had a few drinks

What a fabulous little place ...Old city charm..Pub atmosphere but amazing food at a great price. Our yearly jaunt to NYC is not complete without at least a stop in for a bite and a glass of something...Great accommodating Staff as well....

I entered Broome St Bar knowing nothing about it other than it had a quintessential NY look that drew me toward it. Classic old NY bar & grill where even if the food was mediocre the venue would have made it worthwhile. i almost didn't order a burger because they're served on pita bread but the waiter - a charming and professional young Jamaican man - said they were great and I took a chance. It was without a doubt the best burger I have EVER had in NYC. I ate here twice in three days because the cheeseburger was so exceptional!

We stopped in for drinks as we walked back from 9/11 memorial to Times Square. We had drinks only. Cool atmosphere, good music, and very nice bartender helped us out. Glad we stopped!

Just an average burger and beer, nothing fancy but needed a place to get a quick bite to eat. Sat by the window and watched the people go by, very interesting people.. Prices good, waitress very attentive and lively place.

Stopped for lunch. Nice place inside. Had the special, sandwich and the chilli cheese fries which were the best I've ever had. Got busy towards us finishing. Looks like a good place to ho to at night.

A great bar with great service. Customers are truly valued and sincerely welcomed. Lovely atmosphere with laughter providing the background noise. If only we lived close enough to be able to call it our local.

My husband and I just recently ate here. I basically came for the Liverwurst on Rye Sandwich, which was great. The atmosphere was great, not your average sports bar with 20 million TV's blaring. A nice bar to get together and enjoy company and a meal.

It's the sort of place you could sit and drink and talk all afternoon. Quaint little pub serving good food. Portions aren't huge but normal size (as they should be). The veggie burger was one of the best and they are served on a pita instead of a bun, so not as filling. Cold beer and a wide selection of choices. Busy place but staff very friendly and attentive. So glad we happened upon this place out on a walk.

My husband and I loved this place. We both had a cheese burger in a pitta bread. The burger is fantastic, we visited this place twice whilst we was in NYC. The burger comes with chips ~ crisps to us From the UK. The cocktails are good! I would highly recommend this place!

Popped in for some after dinner beers. Met a bartender named Brooks who was super friendly and had amazing tips about not only New York but Chicago also! Awesome guy with loads of stories about sports.. we booked ice hokey tickets after chatting to him! ✌🏼

We found Broome Street Bar at the end of a long day the week after Christmas and it was such a great surprise! The service was great, the food was so tasty and the atmosphere was perfect!

Stopped in here on a whim and what a treat! The drinks were very good and we liked the laid back feel. Lots of good people watching out of the window. Both my husband and I ordered hamburgers which were served on pita bread. I was skeptical at first how that would pair up but was very pleased with it.

Sweet bar near SoHo, with a lot of beers, and vegatarians meals. Quick service, cheaper, with good music. We tasted Seafood soup, with pigwich sanswichs, and cheeseburgers, all good, but a bit small to the hangrier people.

After a trek up Broadway to the Strand and back this was the perfect cap to the day. I was going for the quesadilla special when the waiter told me that they were known for their burger, so I switched and was glad I did. The burger, chips, and a couple of icy cold Blue Moon pints on tap and life was good. Perfect NYC corner bar.

Warm place with beautiful decor and a beautiful terrace. The neighborhood also in the evening is very nice. Awards are average. Good beers. No happy hour, it seems. Terrace service was nice. Very correct portions. Downside: at the time of the addition, the waiter brought us the bill with 20% tip automatically added, which is not very correct. In any case, this practice of gratuities systematically requested even in self-service is often abusive

Always visit KBSB - best bar in NYC - great food and service and atmosphere. The burgers on pita are amazing

We were walking by and just stopped in for lunch. A nice old pub with style. Prices are very reasonable for the area. Our server was attentive and friendly! We had burgers with fries and a tuna sandwich and all was good. Refills on adult drinks were extra. We will return here again on a future visit.

Appalling service. All 3 servers extremely rude and obnoxious. Could have ignored if the drinks were OK. But expresso martini were weak and tasteless. Guiness had a bigger head on it than the obnoxious waitress.

Came in after 12 noon, not many people at that time and sat at the bar. Friendly female bartender and took my order right away. Surprisingly enough I waited about 25 minutes for my food, hot pastrami sandwich with side fries. The sandwich didn’t have 1,000 dressing as advertised but didn’t want to bother the staff. The fries were really good!!! Thanks

Visit this bar every time we visit New York and love the vibe here. Unfortunately this occasion will be our last. The food was ok, had the cheeseburger and the pastrami sandwich ( no pickle for some reason ) and a couple of drinks each and the bill came to $92 ( £72 ). My biggest gripe though was the service charge of 20% being automatically added to the bill. Don’t mind paying for good service BUT our waiter was average at best and at times quite rude and abrupt. No customer service with a smile. I guess when the tip is on your bill anyway, why should he be pleasant as he’s getting the tip anyway, right? 🤷♂️ Real shame as used to look forward to visiting but I guess there are a lot more bars with better service we can visit instead.

How does a bar in NYC have no happy hour? We came here on a Friday after work to meet up with some friends coming from DC. After we were seated I inquired about any happy hour specials and they informed me that they didnt have one. So after one round we left to find drinks close by. Seriously, how do you compete during happy hour hours? In case you are wondering we went to Botanica. $4 beers during happy hour

We stopped in for a bite to eat and had a burger which was very unique as it didn’t have a traditional bun, but a Pita. The salad was raved about by my fiancé but if you order pickles make sure you order it with the food or they charge you two bucks extra.

We found this place by accident and what a great find it was! It's one of the oldest pubs in NYC, and it's fun and quirky. Great local beers on tap, excellent service, a good menu! I wish it was my local in Sydney! Plus - it's owned by an Aussie and her husband!!!!!

Great bar recommended by colleagues - felt very comfortable the moment I walked in. Great Beers and food but also great ambiance !! Quality tunes on the jukebox although this is not imposing as conversation is key - above all a great spot to people watch on West Broadway I look forward to returning

Tried the Broome Street Bar in SoHo. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Nice historic building. Great service and will try again. Best nachos I have had in a long time. Busy but worth the wait. Will be back

We had planned on dropping in at Black Tap, but arrived to a 45 minute wait. That was on us for not planning better, not a ding on the restaurant. Since it was 25 degrees outside, we opted to look elsewhere. We found Broome St. and immediately felt at home. We got a table in just a few minutes and the place, service and food reminded us of a smaller, quaint version of McGuire's Irish Pub (Pensacola) from the old days. Burgers were great--the pita bread was unique and actually a surprisingly good combo. The chili is legit! My son crushed the taco salad and even the veggie burger made my daughter happy. The Guinness was perfectly poured and 90 Minute on tap made me warm in inside...even if only for a moment. All in all, we'd certainly go back and next time maybe for happy hour.

Lovely little bar serving great food at a very reasonable price. Very relaxed atmosphere and very good service. Couldn't fault it and would definitely recommend you try it out if you're in and around SoHo.

First time I have been there was 25 years ago. Since then I always enjoy dinner there at least once while visiting NYC. Food and service are great. Real bar food. Don't miss it.

Visit the city frequently and nearly always end up here after shopping and / or just walking in the Village and SOHO. Nothing fancy, but good bloody marys and beers, burgers, soups, etc.. in an unpretentious atmosphere with great sidewalk views.

I have entered the premises and kindly asked if I could buy a bottle of water. Afterwards the waiter very rudely said they do not sell water. I then asked if I could buy anything because I needed to go to the toilet, as a courtesy. The owner then stood up and grunts very unpolitely to leave, and that I am the typical person who would ask for the toilet, which does not make sense to tell a person and also to assume. I therefore responded that I will leave a fair one star review, because if this is the way she treats a kind person that enters her bar and asks for a drink, imagine the customers that are having lunch or anything to eat, (the place was almost empty). Do not go, definitely do not and ask for the toilet.

Like stepping into a old London corner pub! Burger in pita bread, Italian sandwich on a crusty baguette, and fries were fantastic as well as the beers on draft! We walked in at 2 and had no problem getting a seat at the bar. Everyone including staff and patrons were really friendly!

A sudden rain storm and hungry bellies had us heading for a place to escape. As we read the menu outdoors, a woman passing by said “best burgers in New York”. That was enough of a testament for me. I felt like I’d stepped back in time to pubs in England and Australia. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with colourful chalkboards spelling out the food and drinks plus the cosiness of the wooden chairs and tables. We were immediately seated when we walked in and we endeavoured to dry off. They do hamburgers differently here - in pita bread. I asked for “chips” with mine when I should’ve said “fries” a common mistake we Australians make in the USA. The burgers were flavoursome with a texture I’m not used to, yet still tasty. To go with our burgers we had margaritas. Service was very good. Decor inviting. Outdoor dining available - which would be lovely hadn’t it been raining. Toilets antiquated yet somewhat charming. We will return.

Excellent authentic NYC bar with great atmosphere, with mixture of locals and just people going in for a quick drink, not a rip off like some of those Irish bars with no atmosphere, it’s in a great neighbourhood with plenty of nice restaurants, however the street food served in this place is up there with most restaurants, can’t recommend this place enough, we’ve passed it for many years without going in but really glad we did this time.

I had a cheeseburger and chips. Everything was good. But the place needs to be updated, especially the bathroom is in really bad conditions.

Nice place to have a few drinks, very authentic and original. Good mix of people but you can tell its a locals bar. Would visit again.

Just came across this place and so glad we did. Great decor etc. Food was just the best and good choice of drinks. Staff all really helpful.

Genuine and cosy. Had a nice lunch here after walking for hours and I would definately recommend it. A bit rough but genuine and they did serve good food and beer.

Fun bar! We found this while walking around. Bar tender is so much fun and the guys loved the jukebox!

Really enjoyed our afternoon spent at the Broome Street Bar. Very friendly service, great atmosphere & good music. We ordered a big plate of nachos to share & they were divine. Good cold beer too & not ridiculously expensive. Lovely.

Good location. Simple pub environment with easygoing and nice reception. A moderate menu and various local beers from tapp. Amazingly good burgers in pita bread and as an option big good fries. Good beer. Despite the situation, the price level is below average. Clean and fresh in the room and in the toilet as you would expect from a simple pub.

Great Bar with style and best burger in Pita bread.. delicious .They also have a good tuna melt sandwich.

Thieves I stopped in at 1pm to sit at the bar counter for a beer and paid for a beer $8.50 out of a $20 bill. So I decided to stay for lunch(burger) and another beer. At this time I added $40 to my $12.50 change from the first pint. So I have now a have a total of $51.50 sitting at my place on the counter. I had still 1/3 of my pint left when I had gone to visit the toilet .(4 to 5 Min). When I returned to my seat, the seat was given to someone else. All my money gone. Never had a chance to have the bill presented to me. The bartender took all my money and said we are even. I had to argue to find out how much my bill was and wondered now how the tip was figured out. He said no need for a tip, he is sorted he said. Beer x 2 = $17.00 Burger $22.00 = $39.00 out of $ 60 Missing $21.00 So he took a 50% tip I went to speak to the manager about the horrible way I was treated. She had a worse attitude that the bartender. This is not a friendly trustful establishment. I lived in NY 40 years and always like to use cash in small establishments. NY bars have always been a trustful place to be able leave cash on the bar as you have a few beers. But not Broome street tavern. The bartender will clean yours right up.

Came to this pub during an overnight in SoHo. We were seated immediately and orders taken quickly. The food that we had was pretty good. I had a Cobb Salad that I made a few changes to and it came out correctly. It was tasty but on the smaller side compared to many other restaurants. My son's cheeseburger was good - it comes on a pita, not a bun. My husband's tuna melt was fine. Prices were pretty reasonable for the location.

Here you can find the best burger in NYC , in the pita bread with bacon and cheese. In the winter don't forget to ask a apple sider brandy, to dye for..

Really friendly bar/restaurant - staff and punters. Not a huge space and that helped make it seem cosy. Service was spot on and food decent too.

We arrived the night before from Australia and were looking for some where to have lunch on Xmas day. We found Kenn's Broome Street Bar near our hotel. It was packed with very friendly people. We sat at the bar and ordered the best burgers one with meat and one vegetarian. We enjoyed a couple of wines and chatted to fellow guests. It is cosy and warm as it is chilly here at the moment. Jimmy the barman is the best and a real asset to the place. He played the host with amazing energy and good humour as he single handedly worked as the barman and waiter. It was great and not expensive. Best Xmas memory thanks to Jimmy and this bar.

I don't get to NYC often - perhaps twice a year, but when I do, I make it a point to find my way to Broome Street Bar and Grill. On the corner of Broome and Broadway in Soho - this small, but lively bar serves the best burgers in the city - period! Specifically the bacon cheese burger is awesome. It's consistent too; I was first introduced to Broom Street Bar about 4 years ago. I've been getting the bacon cheese burger there ever since. You can order it your way, and it comes on a pita -- loaded with goodness. I wouldn't call this spot a dive bar, just an older bar with flavor. No matter the season, it's always lively. If you can - grab a table by one of the open windows and people-watch all the folks coming and going on Broadway. Fantastic. This month - I was in Queens for the US Open. I still found time to grab an Uber to Soho for an evening at Broome Street Bar. As always - I was so glad I did. If you're ever in the city, make time to check out this fantastic bar. Good beer, good drinks, good food, good people. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We make sure to visit here at least once every time we are in NYC, and they never disappoint. They serve hamburgers in wonderfully thin and crisp pita bread and we all loved it. My only "complaint" is that the buffalo wings are only served on occasion. They are literally the best wings I have ever had and I wish they would add them to the regular menu.

We were a family of 4 adults, on a vacation at the big apple. The place is cozy, relaxed, good vibe and incredible host. Food was great as well as service but most importantly we had such a great time we didnt want to leave the place

We had dinner there with my wife. The place looked nice. We had to wait 20 minutes to get our drinks. More 20 minutes to get a cheeseburger and a pastrami sandwich. The cheeseburger was greasy and totally flavorless, live they do not have Salt and pepper at the kitchen. The pastrami was better but Still far from good. Both side dishes were called 'chips', but they were a disaster, no taste worse looks. Tasted like they were left on the plate overnight. We were really dissapointed. When we paid the waitress told us she thinks we paid with fake money, so she has to double check the bills. We were so humiliated.

I stopped by Broom Street Bar on a recent visit to NYC. I had walked the Highline from midtown to downtown and was walking back to my hotel when I passed the bar. I TA'd it and it got decent reviews so I went in. Service was great. Food reccommendation was good too. "Get the burger, we've been here 42 years and that's what we're known for". So, I had the burger. It was served in Pita bread and it was very good. If I lived nearby it would be a normal Sunday stop.

This charming place , it is my favorite burger in NYC, they made in a pita bread toasted, amazing! the place it is there for a long time anda has a lot of personality ..

Loved this place from the time I entered it... very cool atmospheric pub in Soho. It was a baking hot day when we first went and all I wanted was an ice cold beer....and that's exactly what I got. My partner and I kept seeing the food orders come out and so decided to order a little snack on Nachos, cheese and jalapeños....what a great choice this was along with a second beer :-) If you are looking for a bar with a great atmosphere, great food and drink in a really cool part of New York city then this is the place for you. Being from England I know pubs...this is a good one and takes me back to way they used to be..old skool..proper!!

Having discovered Broome Street Bar on our last trip in the summer, it was only right that we pop in for a drink this time. In fact, we liked it so much, we popped in every day... The service was excellent & very friendly, & the music was great. The menu hadn’t changed since our last visit, but that was ok - we knew it would be good. Over the course of 3 days I had the hummus & pita bread (so good & very filling). The guacamole & chips to share (very tasty & lots of them), then the nachos. Nachos were excellent - as we still had space we also ordered apple pie & brownie & ice cream. Everything was excellent. I actually have nothing to complain about at the Broome Street Bar. They were very hospitable & made us feel very welcome. A solid 10/10 & well worth a visit.

Really nice place to stop for a spot of lunch. Sat at a window table watching the world go by. Food was excellent and service really good. Nice vibe and made to feel very welcome despite being very obvious tourists.

During my last 2 visits to New York staying in Soho I have made this place my HQ. I was recently in New York for 5 nights and ate at restaurants with good reviews but on every occasion the tables were very close together and the service was always rushed. Therefore the Brooke Street Bar was a welcome alternative where you could get a good beer (Stella in my case) and decent food at a reasonable price at tha pace I was comfortable with. Had the Cheesy Chilli Fries after a Knicks game one evening which was great. There was always a good atmosphere in this bar, after a day of much walking my Wife would return to the hotel for a snooze and I would escape to this place, grab a seat by the bar and watch the world go by, my idea of heaven. Everyone who is used to a UK pub atmosphere will love it here.

We arrived late in NY and needed some food so this place was close to our hotel. Service was good as was the beer and burger. We enjoyed it.

Amazing burgers and wings!!!Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere, New York City old bar.I really recommend this place!

Lovely little bar in Tribeca. Cool staff and decent food. Would highly recommend Dog Fish 90 Min IPA, just don’t have 5 pints of it like I did!

Apart from being a great bar it has a unique feature - the beer mats are twice as big as normal and on the front there is a picture of the bars logo and on the back it is a post card and if you fill out the post card and put it into a red "post box" in the bar the staff will post the card anywhere in the world which removes the hassle of looking for a stamp and makes for a refreshing departure from facebook , selfies and all the social media nonsense.

I didn't eat although the food ordered around me looked and smelt great. It is definitely a fun place to relax and have a drink. The staff is awesome.

A very typical NYC bar. Full of lively characters, very eclectic bunch too. Serves food (Tex/Mex style) and is a very enjoyable place to watch the world pass by for a couple of hours.

Lovely server, horrible manager. The manager was so rude and disrespectful to her staff so I felt uncomfortable staying there any longer. Our server was very welcoming and attentive but the atmosphere was very off because of the management on site. Spend your money somewhere else

This is an enjoyable, classic pub in busy, stylish Soho, and is priced reasonably. I liked that I could order a draft beer by the half pint, and I enjoyed my veggie burger served in pita. The little side salad that came with the veggie burger was also quite good.

Pleasantly surprised by the lunch we had here a few days ago. Burger was well made and tasty, pastrami was okay, and service was fairly good. The old fashioned was unremarkable, while the Bloody Mary was pretty good. Enjoyed their hand-cut fries as well.

We loved the location, the bar was packed with interesting people, We could tell that there were a lot Of locals as well as tourists We loved the lay out of the bar which was so tastefully planned, Music was great, the atmosphere Was electric, people were just having a great time 👍🏻 the snacks Were good, would highly recommend this place while in. Soho New York

This bar is an original SoHo artists restaurant and bar. This is an old pub with that a rustic charm with an unpretentious vibe that makes you want to belly up to the bar and get to know the bartender. So that is just what we did! Our bartender’s name was Jimmy and he was a super social and fun barkeep. We ordered some simple drinks (they had Chopin vodka, so my husband was happy) and enjoyed the lively environment. If you wanted to eat at this establishment, they have many options available. The food is the traditional American bar/pub cuisine.

Typical pub, nice terrace and vintage interior decoration that will seduce you. The soul of Soho concentrated in this pub So Soho

What a pleasure to eat and drink there !! Great selection of beers Burgers are just amazing, Service is cool, Definitely a must-go

We were there by coinsitence, just walked by. What a luck. Super Service, super food. We would definetely come again.

Great neighborhood pub food for lunch in SoHo. I had the Tuna Melt and a side salad, which was much better than expected for pub food. My friend ordered the cheeseburger. She was pleasantly surprised that the bun was a pita pocket. The pub was full at lunch time, probably because affordable and better than average pub food.

I have been back to this place many times. My brother has been frequenting this place for more than thirty years and we have come there for birthdays and just good times. Every restaurant starts with the wait staff, including the bartenders and then the food. Before you sit at the table you see and feel the atmosphere, all set by the way the clientele are greeted and treated by the staff. This is a friendly staff. They know when to be a part of the conversation and when not to. They know how to take the drink orders, get them right and get them to you. They remember what you've had and when you've had enough! The food is true bar food. Burgers that have the right flavor and cooked EXACTLY the way you ask. They've got a pretty extensive beer list and some very drinkable wines. Believe it or not, they've even got Junior's Cheesecake! If you are in NYC and looking for a place to park yourself (don't bring the car though except on Sunday for brunch) for an hour or so and have a really great time with friends and family, try the Broome Street Bar.

Wife and I were looking for a late lunch in Soho and found this great place. Smalll with kitchen where you first come in and some tables along wall and in back. We sat at bar and ordered drinks and were promptly served by the nice and attentive bartender. We split the special soup of the day, gazpacho. Best I has ever ever had with great spicing and subtle basil. Awesome. Wife had pear and Gorgonzola salad and I had a special, the blackened catfish sandwich. No lie when I say there is some talented people cooking here. Our best meal in NYC.

We were staying around the corner at the James and used this as our local as it is a lovely little bar on a busy corner were the drinks were resonably priced and the window tables gave a great view for people watching the amazing variety that is the residents of Soho. We did not eat here this time but the menu looked good and the staff were very friendly

Terrible service, manager was very rude with us!! She even mistreated the waitress in front of us, including judging us in the same time we arrived!! Not going back!!

We had walked around for hours and needed a bite to eat and a beer. Perfect place for it! The staff were friendly - enjoyed a burger with chips and Goose Island Beer. Great place to while away a bit of time and watch the world go by.

Strip back the pretense of the area and have a Brooklyn lager here. The burger is ok and their twist is that it is served in a Gyro style.

Dropped in for lunch. Comfortable and bright place. Service is excellent and the food was good. Would definitely recommend

Very rude waitress. We ordered one beer for a start (4:30pm so not really a meal time) and told her that we maybe wanted some food. She asked us three times about the food and we told her we would let her know if we wanted to order food. Right after she brought the bill not even half way through the beer….

And great food. Try the chilly dog! Loved the european style vibe. Some good drafts available as well.

I went on a Saturday at noon and was placed on the sidewalk. The table moved and the chair gave me the feeling of breaking every moment. I ordered a burger that came in pita (Arabic) bread and the smell of fried potato chips disturbed my entire meal. Very bad place.

Had the best salad with warm chicken. Cocktails super too. Very oldie worldy place. Nice and cosy. Very reasonable swell.

We fell upon the Broome St Bar by accident when searching for somewhere to have lunch and get out of the searing heat. It was lovely and cool inside so we settled in for lunch. There was a good range of craft beers available and we sampled a couple both were good. It was a Sunday so there was a brunch/lunch menu available, we had pastrami sandwiches which were really deep filled and yummy on toasted bread which was a little but dry but didn't detract too much from the enjoyment. An extra portion of fries were also good. Overall a good local bar serving reasonable food.

This is our first time to New York but my sister & brother-in-law who we are travelling with have been before & recommended it for our first night. What a gem of a place, the atmosphere was fantastic, I am guessing a mixture of tourists & locals! We sat at the bar & had beers and cocktails whilst waiting for our table & it's great to watch the cocktails being mixed!!! Our food was amazing, all round a great night - would definitely recommend & we will be back 🤗

Stumbling across this bar, we were really surprised. The food was great bar food (burgers and chilli and beer) and staff were great. A great place to watch the world go by, from a UK perspective, not a lot different from a London pub. Good selection of bottled beers and draft. Nothing too fancy but great all the same.

The place is nice, low key for the area which is always welcomed near Soho... We came in for a few drinks a snack and shelter from the rain. The food was fine and the service very good, until the bill came. The waitress had added an 18% service charge... Yeah in NYC! If you live in NYC you know you are expected to tip about 20% for good service. And we do... you round that 18% up to 20 and everyone is happy but NEVER have I seen the staff adding it forcefully for a party of 2. Not wanting to make a scene but wanting to make a point I asked her if she thought that was normal and with a straight face she told me that this was standard in the city. I guess that I must look / sound foreigner and she thought "tourists don't tip I should just take what's mine... " I don't like places that take advantage of people just cause they might not know better. I paid the bill, but I won't be coming back. I urge tourist to stay away from venues that exercise these practices and as a local you might not have time for the bs but it is ok to point out dodgy behavior. Walk around the corner plenty of bars that show respect to their customers.

Had a great burger and glass of Cabernet. My husband had a burger and a Guinness. We've been coming here for years and love that it's kept the same comfortable neighborhood atmosphere. Only complaint is chocolate mud pie is disappointing. But definitely a great Soho establishment.

I have been to this bar more than once on the last half dozen times I've visited NYC. Usually just for drinks as they have a great selection on tap and the staff are friendly and chatty - we usually sit at the bar. However, on this trip we went a couple of times for drinks and to watch the Euro 2016 football and on one occasion we decided to order food. What a mistake to have not done this before. The food was excellent, so much so that we went back on our last day for more drinks and food.

Traditionally, when ever we are in NYC we come to Broome Street Bar and we are never disappointed. Unique burger in pita bread with chips is one of my favorites. No redundant calories, but only joy if perfect grilled meat. :-) Love it.

Extensive selection of hearty dishes (including soups, salads, and chili). It's a better place to drink than it is to eat, but food is pretty good as well in my opinion. Can get crowded on Friday and Saturday night.

Have a rest in Soho in a small bar with nice burgers in pita bread. Very restful ! We'll have appreciated fries instead of chips but nice moment. Rare cooking of steack was excellent

Stumbled upon this bar on a recent trip and liked it a lot. We never had food but it looked good on other people's plates! Barman was nice, customers happy to chat away, free refills on soda for kids, great beer selection, premium spirits galore and big measures. Really liked it and will return one day!

Very popular bar/restaurant. We sat a the bar and enjoyed some great chat with the Barman. He’s about as New York as you can get. Good choice of beers and good, honest (large) portions of decent food. Great music play list mostly rock based.

Got into the city and needed lunch after checking into the James Hotel. Quick walk around the corner to this Pub. Its a classic pub, bar area bustling, back room dining. We were sat qucikly and waitress took our drink order immediately. Also took food order quickly. Food was alright. My husband got the hot pastrami on rye and was happy with that. I ordered the BLT and it was ok, but bacon way to crispy and broken up. Also, they offer chips or salad. Give you a few chips which is probably good. Salad was small but good dressing. Basically lettuce and a cucmber slice. Wish i had ordered the burger which got great reviews on line and everyone around was ordering. We would have stayed for another drink, but we never got the waitress back until it was time to go. So, all in all, its a pub - with pub atmosphere and pub food. But not the best we've had.

Busy and buzzy place. We we went bar was packed. Great atmosphere here and we had a good time. Wine was good and some food choices were too. Hamburger in a pitta is not for me and no mention of this on menu. We were overcharged and 2 items were on the check which we didn’t have. We had to speak to 3 people to get it corrected which is bad.

Walk right by. Food just isn’t good and they do t car. For what I paid I could have gotten a delicious lunch elsewhere. Burgers were dry, fries were limp, tea was cold and service was subpar. When I complained- the manage was neither fazed or concerned- she just didn’t car. As I said -just walk right past the place!

If you are looking for a great bar for a burger and beer for a low key date, this is the place. Not fancy or pretentious. Just a good place to watch some sports on tv and drink a few beers and enjoy the burger which comes served in a pita. Great way to eat a burger.

We stopped for a cherry and aperol on the terrace outside watching people pass by. Enter the premises (toilet) and the atmosphere was relaxed, the decoration full and details and messages written on the walls. I liked it and I'd come back.

My wife and I popped in for a drink and appetizers on a Saturday around 4:30pm. We were promptly given and table and had drinks within a few minutes. Just what we wanted. We got chips and salsa (nothing great) and the cheese platter that was rather nice. In all it was exactly what we wanted. A bar that was quiet enough for conversation and friendly quick service.

Its Levi from the Hilton, i was your waiter:) I'll be sure to visit at the end of the year for a catchup and a beer!! Great service
Great food, great staff and brilliant atmosphere
Excellent value food (we had a generous serve of nachos & buffalo wings) fresh and very tasty, as was the cold beer!! Staff were very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was fun and like being among friends. Great location.
