I was in NYC for a business conference this past summer and our farewell dinner was at the Bryant Park Grill. It is located in the Park and has a cool ambiance. My wife had the salmon and I had the steak. Both entrees were very good. The location with all of the trees was very relaxing to me.

Each Christmas season I visit the city with my girlfriends. We were excited about choosing Bryant Park Grill. When my friend made the reservation she notified them that one person in the party had a garlic allergy. I notified our waiter immediately that I had a garlic allergy & asked for recommendations. He seemed puzzled and then told me every dish had garlic in some way. I asked for a salad with shrimp or chicken & he responded that everything is marinated in garlic, pasta with butter? We were told they even add garlic to the pasta water & oils used to fry food. The waiter was a true gentleman & very concerned. He said he would figure something out for me. In the end, he was able to secure a delicious skirt steak, broiled with only salt, pepper & lemon- the chef included steamed veggies & a frisee salad with Balsamic vinegar. I was very disappointed with the menu choices but did respect the waiter for being so concerned for my health. Our desserts were wonderful-can't remember the name but I know it had caramelized popcorn on top. Considering the disappointment in food choices I think the meals were overpriced. Yes, my steak was good but I spent $90 (wine meal & dessert) for a lunch I did not plan. The next city trip will be to a restaurant that understands garlic can be deadly for some customers.

We enjoyed dining here, not once but twice, during our week in NYC. The weather was perfect for sitting outside, enjoying the delicious food and the people watching in Bryant Park. Friendly service. 2 glasses of wine, we split a salad and entree, 2 deserts, plus tip ~$160.00.

The location is the main attraction for a tourist but the you see the amount of locals… the food is ver tasty and well presented. Crab cake, Branzino with black ink risotto, burgers, calamari, super tasty. The wine list comprehensive. The service always knowledgeable and attentive. The success recipe…

Food was ok but the prices were too high and service could have been better. Birds were flying around in the restaurant which ruined the experience.

Inexperienced staff and poor food. The starter (calamari) arrived with an already squeezed lime so had to ask for another one. The main courses came out while we were halfway through our starters and the waiter was just going to leave them on the spare table next to us. We asked him to return them to the kitchen until we’d finished our starter. They came back to us cold so had clearly just been left on the side. The steak was chewy and partly inedible. I had the ravioli which was ok. We had to find our own cutlery on a neighbouring table. We mentioned the issues to our waiter who just gave us our bill and asked for a tip when it came to paying.

Very impressed with this restaurant ,from the service too the meal. I had fish and chips my wife and daughter had the salmon it was very tasty. This is not that cheap but also not too expensive £100 for 3 meals and drinks

This was the best meal we had in NYC. Lovely location. Great service. Only my daughter who ordered chicken tenders from the kids menu had complaints. The rest of us enjoyed our entrees immensely.

Restaurant pleasant for the setting and for the environment. Good service with the Trip Tip. Very good food for a rate in the New York average. Too bad for us, while we were here Bryant Park was in the works for the Christmas rink. Mandatory Reservation for dining inside, for the terrace 1st come, 1st installed

We ate in a enclosed tent area that was probably added for the winter season but there was a good, comfortable atmosphere. The food was good to very good but expensive as you might expect. Service was also good

The Bryant Park Grill is a wonderful place to step out of the crowds and enjoy a meal. We had reservations for brunch and were seated promptly at a table in the area that felt like a conservatory. The service was attentive and friendly and we were also free to enjoy our coffee and our meal. Wonderful oasis in the park.

Booked in advance for lunch and asked if we could be seated outside given how hot it was on the day. Service was great, not rushed, just as we like it. Calamari starter to share, it was enough for two, and the chef certainly knew how to cook squid. The seafood pasta was filling, the prawns were huge. Lovely restaurant in a great spot.

Did not disappoint during our recent trip to the City. I’ve been wanting to try out this place for years and finally got the opportunity. Great food, atmosphere and service. Don’t pass up an opportunity to visit this beautiful place.

Superb atmosphere with beautiful light. Christmas decorations and Bryant Park views. The food and service are very good. Only flat rates but in New York everything is overpriced.

The receptionist was impolite while saying that only one person could not stay on the terrace. I gave up due to that attitude, she could have explained it in a polite way.

This restaurant combines quality cuisine with a beautiful setting. Service is professional, and the seasonal menu offers well-balanced flavors in a calm atmosphere.

We visited for dinner and the food was excellent! Broad menu with something for everyone and healthy options too! Highly recommend.

This is a reasonable option in this area of New York, it is in the park of the same name The terrace area is very pleasant, the service is very attentive, and an excellent menu, inconvenient?? We are in this area and it is expensive We had squid as a starter, and as a main course for one Thai duck and for the other an excellent meat with salad and fries, accompanied by a glass of wine and the price is better to forget about, because the food was very tasty

A super nice place. We didn't make a reservation. We were at Bryant Park and decided to have lunch. We sat in the garden area. Super well served food. I asked Caesar of Salmon and took a cup of white wine. For dessert, we share a lemon pie. The menu is quite varied.

Visiting NYC for our first Macy’s Day parade. Our first dinner was here, and what a lovely surprise. Crisp, pleasant service. White tablecloth atmosphere but no problem with our winter garb. Ladies ordered the Ciopinno pasta and OMG, the guys landed up stealing delicious bites! The table next to us ordered the salmon dinner which they also raved about. A worthy stop!

A pretty restaurant in an idyllic setting: magnificent “French-style” park, beautiful trees, well-kept flowerbeds. A fairly large restaurant, white tablecloths and cloth napkins. We chose very fresh salads, varied ingredients, tasty, not very seasoned but good. A beautiful basket of bread, not charged... A nice dessert, a glass of rosé, a bottle of sparkling water, 2 good espressos. The service is good, very professional...we think of the 'tip' that inflates when we are offered a glass of Chateau d'Ott for $35....but we took the one for $25 but a total, all in all reasonable, for New York 106€ taxes and tip included

We had a good Sunday brunch here when we visited NYC. Bryant Park Grill has lovely setting in Bryant Park right next to the Public Library. Food was very good and there was something on the menu for everyone - the breakfast burrito was a favourite.

The Bryant Park Grill is a wonderful restaurant located near the theater district in beautiful Bryant Park. The Bryant Seafood Grill was a highlight with lobster, scallops and shrimp in a saffron butter sauce. Service was excellent and the outdoor seating on a lovely summer evening was perfection!

Lovely restaurant. Decided to sit outside on a nice warm September. Decided to go for the Friday night chefs special which was monkfish with green greens on a spicy oriental sauce. Wife decided on the Moroccan chicken. Lovely food and lovely friendly service.

We chose Bryant Park Grill for my 60th birthday celebration. By the end of the meal, we were all glad that we did!! Over the last few years, every time we visited Bryant Park we would comment how pretty the restaurant looked from the outside. This time we looked at the menu & reviews way ahead of time and were lucky to get a reservation during a very busy time of year. We arrived a few minutes early & were given the choice whether to sit in the main restaurant or in the heated tent. When we asked the person seating us which he preferred, he responded that the tent was more festive so we chose that. It certainly was festive looking with plenty of white lights & a beautiful Christmas tree. We had a lovely table towards the back. It was comfortable inside the tent on a rainy, cold evening. Our server was delightful; nothing was a problem for her, including taking pictures of us at our table & later on in the evening, in front of the Christmas tree. Our biggest surprise was the quality of food! We were concerned, even after reading the reviews, that it would be touristy. It certainly was not. We ordered two salads & the mini tuna tacos, all to share. We enjoyed it all. The entrees were equally delicious! I tasted my husband's steak & accompanying potatoes which were yummy! My daughter & I shared the seafood grill which was plentiful, very fresh & excellent tasting. Of course we had to leave room for dessert. We got decaf cappuccinos, the creme brulee, & the s'mores dessert. All totally worth the calories. We also enjoyed fun cocktails & wine! Given the caliber of the restaurant & the location in Bryant Park, we thought the prices were high, but worth it, especially for celebrating a special occasion. We can't wait to recommend to all our friends & family and to dine there again on our next trip to NYC!

Excellent experience on a lovely June afternoon. The setting could not have been better. We ordered couple of drinks, a salad and a lunch dish. The food was good, but ambiance is definitely why I would come back to the restaurant again.

Great location and good service but unfortunately I had the Asian salad which took me out for 24 hours with food poisoning. I thought it tasted strange while eating it but persevered because I was hungry, as it was the only thing I ate all day I have no doubt it was this that caused it.

Located next to the NYC Public Library and Bryant Park, the restaurant offers indoor or outdoor seating. On this visit we elected to sit outdoors and enjoy the sunshine. The menu was limited but everyone in our party found a selection that pleased them. Our meals were filling and tasteful, our only real complaint would be that they seemed to be understaffed that day.

Hair in my drink! I took a sip and found a long black hair in my drink. When i told one of the servers, the guy was asking me if I “was sure I found a hair” even though I showed him the hair! Horrible, they do not respect you and don’t care.

Arriving in the city after 1:30pm, we were hungry. We walked to Bryant Park just a few blocks from our hotel and decided to each at the Grill. Located behind the library your view is the park. You can see the ice rink, people walking around or even eating outside at the tables in 40 degree weather. It is a bit pricey for lunch but not overpriced for the quality of food. I had a small heirloom tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad and a crab cake. Perfect size for not overeating. Very flavorful and nicely presented. My husband had a chicken caesar salad. the chicken was actually large pieces with bone. Relaxing after traveling.

Wonderful restaurant. We were seated in the garden area. Server was very accommodating and friendly. Food was excellent and we were not rushed. We will be back!

Worst experience in NYC. The waiter made a mistake in my husband's dish when mine arrived. I finished mine before his had even arrived! It took 15 minutes after I finished my dish for the waiter to worry about checking on my husband's dish. We left, my husband didn't eat anything and I had a really bad time. The setting is just idyllic, for the rest: flee!

We picked this place for its centralized location and great ambiance. They did not disappoint! Our server was Vicente and he was fantastic. Great personality and attention to detail. We were quite the boisterous party of 18 and he handled us all with great care. The food was delicious and I was very impressed with the flow of the dishes as they arrived at the table. There was not a long wait for everyone to receive their food so we all were able to eat at the same time. All the dishes selected were marvelous and we so enjoyed sampling morsels from one another! Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Alexandria (MOD) was a great assist to our group as well helping us with a birthday dessert for the guest of honor. Spacious terrace, magnificent atmosphere and a wonderful way to end our weekend excursion in New York City!

The food was far from being considered good. It is an expensive and pretentious restaurant. This was my second time, the first one was five years ago, but there was a clear decline of the quality.

We Came here for Christmas Day dinner the food was completely unacceptable it firstly came out cold after waiting for an hour for the mains . They were then swapped and what appeared was warm slop on a plate the turkey was terrible and the vegetables were tasteless . It was so disappointing. We were over visiting from Scotland for the holidays . Our waiter was a really lovely man , he did try his very best but he was clearly embarrassed by the food. I would avoid over the holidays maybe it was the holiday menu but the food was absolutely disgusting.

We were 5 people. They treated us very well, very friendly, varied menu. View of the skyscrapers and the beautiful park. Very fair price, we also left a tip. Great experience unique and suggestive.

We spent a pleasant evening in this place with an elegant atmosphere, pampered by a very friendly and easy-going waiter, Bryant Park is a small oasis in the middle of the skyscrapers and if you are lucky like us you will attend a concert under the stars. All the dishes we tasted were of a high standard, if I lived in New York it would be my favorite place.

Our cousin suggested this as a meeting spot near Grand Central Station. It is in a lovely park. Dining area included outdoors, indoors, or in a garden type room where there is a roof (of sorts) with open windows. We enjoyed being outside in the garden room. Lunch itself was good, as was the service. Bathroom is located downstairs and there can be a line.

Last lunch . I thought this place was very touristy and. Ever went but instead there are mainly locals and the food is good . Service is the best . Nice staff , helpful and caring .

Given the price of things in NYC, the value here is terrific. Food excellent and priced reasonably. Service very good; location couldn't be better. I particularly enjoyed the skate menieure.

The restaurant is in a nice location with view to the park. The weather was excellent during our visit and we preferred to seat outside. There are tasty plates in its menu and the personnel is kind.

We had a great meal here! After a long day of walking manhattan at the Hollidays we settled into a great dinner and enjoyed it thoroughly mostly becasue of Elkin, who was incredily gracious and attentive and struck a perfect tone in every interaction.

An enjoyable and restorative choice after braving the crowds in Bryant Park. Located behind the main branch of the New York City Public Library, this is a lovely choice for a full-service, sit-down lunch in midtown Manhattan. Because it is very large, the staff was able to accommodate our group of 4 adults and one child without reservations at lunchtime midweek during the busy holiday season. The tented area was warm and welcoming with charming decorations. Service was very good considering how far our table was located from the kitchen area. The noise level was surprisingly low considering the size of the room. And the crowd is a mix of New Yorkers and tourists, ranging from romantic assignations to families like ours. The menu is a terrific mix of crowd pleasing and fashionable alternatives. Options are offered for diners with dietary restrictions (i.e. vegan, gluten-free). Mediterranean and Israeli choices mingle with Asian options. Vegan is inclusive for everyone: we happily shared the Grilled Bread with Vegan Spreads. A nice respite from the crowds thronging the Christmas market and ice rink.

A must-visit whenever I am in New York, and I wasn’t disappointed. Wonderful hosting by Diane, excellent food and world class service from Jonathan. Dining on the Rooftop on an August night is a memorable experience. Very highly recommended.

A nice place, open to the park where there was an animation. Proper food. Good steak of 280g....with good fries. Fish and ships correct. We get to $100 fast

Great location, good food and drinks. Excellent service. Clean bathrooms. We were a party of 8 and the round table was perfect for seeing everyone and having conversation. I would definitely dine here again.

We stopped in for a light dinner after attending a function and only had two starters and a dessert. The food was good and the service friendly and efficient. We sat outside on the terrace and they had their Movie in the Park on in Bryant Park and it was nice to see so many people taking advantage of the free film. Will come back for lunch at some stage as it's a really nice setting.

Marcos took great care of our large party as we celebrated my birthday. The whole experience was great! Space was beautiful. Food and drinks were so good and the service was quick and friendly. We really enjoyed talking with Marcos and hope to come back soon!

I enjoyed a pleasant lunch at Bryant Park Grill while piano music played in distance. (The park offers a free lunchtime music break with various pianists during the week.) There was a certain incongruity between the white tablecloths and the plastic silverware. The food was very fresh, but the servings were quite small for the prices. Good wine and impeccable service made this a better than average experience.

We had lunch the 4th of July, the restaurant has a beautiful view, food was delicius and the service of shanna was amazing. This is our new favourite place in ny.

Best restaurant for location to the festivities that go along with Christmas in NYC. Food, drinks and service were top notch. We were seated earlier than our reservation and totally enjoyed our time.

Overall quite disappointing. The service was awful. Our waiter was a complete novice trying to serve too many tables. My ravioli was served in a pool of tasteless tepid liquid. There are better places to eat the the price.

It is a joy to return every winter to experience wonderful service and great meals at this bustling restaurant. Located behind the NYC Library in Bryant Park, it is a beautiful setting. It is a pretty extensive menu and it is a tasty challenge to narrow it down. Grilled salmon served with gorgeous vegetables came to the table steaming hot. Kudos to waitstaff, kitchen and hostesses!

Weather was perfect, food and service was also fantastic. We went for lunch, and could have spent all afternoon sat watching the world go by. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant who made our experience special.

What a lovely find. Outstanding customer service and the food was amazing. I would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent place.

We ate at this restaurant twice during our week in New York because their meat was so excellent. We had steaks which were tender and tasty accompanied by home fries and salad. A delight The terrace is very pleasant and the staff friendly. We recommend this restaurant

The waiter was so bad we considered leaving! The cuisine is acceptable but overpriced! It used to be a good restaurant... not anymore. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Outdoor lunch on the first really warm spring day in NYC with loads of people in the park and everyone is really happy and enjoying the fine weather. This together with a light nice lunch and drinks made it a really good visit.

Best Happy Hour cocktails!! It’ was conveniently located in the middle of Bryant Park. Lovely atmosphere ! Carlos the bartender is so friendly, personable and makes us fantastic at his craft!!!

We were visiting the Bryant Park Christmas holiday market and watching the skaters when it started to rain, so we hustled into the outdoor patio of nearby Bryant Park Grill. The outdoor dining patio had been enclosed in a big clear tent, including encasing the base of a large tree. It was good to be there early, because it quickly filled up with a long line of people wanting seats. The atmosphere was casual with both couples tables and some large groups out for a holiday lunch. We tried the tomato-cranberry-bean soup; it was so good, we ordered 'refills'. This, along with a shared salad, was perfect. Sitting under the tent was enjoyable and it is just off the park, so can watch the skaters. It is a bit expensive, but if careful what you order, it is a fun experience.

Nice restaurant in great location in the park. Very knowledgeable staff. Great food. High price. Beautiful and elegant atmosphere even if a little noisy

I came here with friends on a trip to New York for new year's. I noticed this restaurant the last time I came to the city and wanted to try it out. This lady who took our reservation a day or two prior was very friendly and even remembered us the day we went there for dinner. They were pretty flexible when we needed to add two guests and change the time. We were glad to have been able to find a table at a restaurant at all during that busy time of the year (it was a few days after Christmas). We were seated inside the tent that they have put up since Covid. The food was pretty good. The area was heated (it was a few degrees out). The servers seemed a bit busy so at times we needed to really catch their attention if we wanted to order or to have something more. They were all very courteous. There were quite a lot of diners that night. It seemed like a place that locals and tourists would enjoy.

The location of Bryant Park Grill is very pretty, overlooking the park. We had reserved an indoor table, but when we arrived, they stated brusquely that the inside wasn't open; we could sit in the tent or outside. Since the weather was nice, we opted to sit outside. For appetizers, we ordered the Moroccan lamb kabobs, which were super tasty, as well as the cheese trio, which was a really good quantity and nice presentation. The steak frites was pretty good, and the branzino was even better. I had the seafood in cioppino sauce; my fault that I didn't know it was a tomato-based sauce (which isn't a favorite) and that the mussels and clams all came in the shells. One of our group didn't find anything on the menu that he could really eat, so we asked about various alternatives. "You need to order something from the menu" was the only answer. I've never really been somewhere where they weren't willing to make some accommodations or combine some ingredients to help... The food and the location are good, so overall, we would come back with a different group of people and probably just expect less courteous service.

Comfortable with good food and good service. Nicely located next to the Park and a smart interior. However in New York terms it's fairly average, but we enjoyed it for what it was.

We dined there a bit by chance because the restaurant was close to our Pension. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes: tasty meats and fresh vegetables. The setting is also very nice on the terrace in the heart of Bryant Park.

It was a gorgeous day so a beautiful experience on the outdoor patio, with loads of trees and flowers. The service was excellent. I had the ravioli, and I can't remember a better lunch in years -- not too rich and just so many great flavors. It was a unique experience. And, actually, the total cost was less than I expected. I can't wait to come back again. BTW, the outdoor patio gets very busy on lovely days like today, so either go early or be patient. Any wait is worth it!

Great location, wonderful outdoor seating options, and the staff is professional and attentive without being a pest. My quinoa dish was bit underwhelming, but certainly not bad.

Had been many times before, decent place, if expensive Ala standard for NYC. We called ahead for a late lunch, not having a reservation. The hostess told us to come on, they had some no-shows, and we could probably get in. We arrived and the absolutely rudest gentleman we’ve ever encountered asked if we had a reservation. When we replied ‘no’ and my husband went to say what the hostess had told us, this arrogant so and so literally interrupted him and screamed NO RESERVATION, YOU NEED TO LEAVE. Believe me, we did, and for all the times we’ve eaten there before, we’ll never be back nor ever recommend them again. One rude, bad egg caused them a lifetime of our badmouthing. Our closing comment to him as we left, was “Well, thank you for your hospitality. We hope your day goes better.” We lied. May he rot in the NYC sewers.

There was plenty of outdoor seating. The food was great. We had brunch and walked around the park. Would love to go back for lunch/dinner.

Nice location. But... I ordered a fruit plate with yogurt. The fruit plate came. No yogurt. So, quite reasonably I believe, I asked for the yogurt. The server got a manager who told me they don’t have yogurt. I showed her the menu which contains the word yogurt. She said “oh you mean yogurt” then after some snarky back and forth said “well if you want that then we can get that”. 20 minutes after the fruit plate arrived I had the yogurt and honey as suggested by the menu. Not sure this place is worth the client service attitude ...good location.

Fantastic, everything perfect, expensive bill but in line with the place, precise service, fast, excellent food quality, recommended

We went on Trip and Maps recommendation, and it was all worth it! Watch out for easily shared portions and heart attack mocktails. The fish and chip garnish artichoke should be the main course because it is exquisite. Shoutout to excellent service!

Mgmt did nothing about a patron with a baby who was non-stop screaming for over an hour. It ruined our brunch and that of other patrons. I find this lack of leadership on the part of mgmt, in being too intimidated to ask a disruptive patron to remove the child from the dining room, to be inexcusable. And the food was very disappointing compared to other meals we’ve had there. Go elsewhere.

Went for a quick drop in for a few beers. We started at the bar ordered received our drinks moved 2 feet from the bar to a table. Some person in a hoodie said at the top of her voice that'll be $16 (Instant regret) for 2 tiny beers, asked if they have a card machine and the reply was have you got a card. Just like alot of places in N.Y.C staff no longer know how to speak to customers. Will never recommend or go back. Rude and expensive. My only satisfaction was leave ZERO tip.

Excellent salmon, decent roses and cocktails to accompany. The guys of the waiting staff are impeccable, unfortunately the same cannot be said of the two nice girls of the reception. I give a minimum mark to emphasize this thing that I am going to state. The first black lady greeted us quickly and we moved on to the second filter with a second (I think Peruvian) lady minding her own business, chewing gum in place and proving rude, unhelpful, rude and unlikable.

First time we were at this restaurant which is across from Andaz hotel Great location and easy to find inside Bryant park Service and atmosphere were wonderful Waiter was very attentive Varied selection of choices were many from appetizers and main dishes Ordered birthday dessert for my husband and it wAs special Cheesecake and sorbet and candle no charge on bill Was very impressed We will return

Lovely place in a great location. It sits right on the edge of Bryant Park, with indoor and outdoor seating among trees and dappled sunlight. The food on the other hand, is a little hit and miss. I’d booked earlier in the day (my first in New York) because it was around the corner from my hotel. The staff were lovely, and accommodated me when I asked to sit outside but the food service was pretty standard. Outside is quite dark because there’s no lighting at one end - it’s not a problem, but it can be difficult to see the food properly. The jumbo lump crab cake ($19.50/£15.50) - salad leaves, halved cherry tomatoes, and then the crab cake, was absolutely drowned in a thick honey and mustard dressing that overpowered it. After a disappointing start, the main was much better. A Thai duck salad - duck leg and breast, with mango, papaya, peppers, onions, peanuts, and a large cracker holding it all together. It was undeniably tasty, and an absolutely massive portion. I had a really delicious cocktail too, called Smoking Pineapple. Fruity, smokey and spicy - really good. All things considered, I’d recommend a visit, especially on a sunny day or warm evening - it’s hard to argue with the location and atmosphere of this place.

We were fried walking in the heat visiting New York City and showed up an hour early for our reservations. They accommodated and the staff was very professional and friendly. The food was delicious, and setting was great with the park right outside. When i return to visit New York City, I will return to Bryant Park Grill.

We stumbled upon this restaurant as we looked for lunch, and we loved the tented area of the restaurant. It was a spring day, sunny, however a little chilly, so having the available sunlight pour in through the tented area was very welcoming. Attentive greeting and service (with no reservation), we had prosecco to start, then Cobb Salad and charcuterie, and just relaxed and people watched a little. We looked around to see impeccably dressed 'Ladies Who Lunch' around us and we felt in an definite atmosphere - not touristy, but of the area. A definite high point in our culinary adventures in NY, and we would return.

First time here and a great experience. Drinks were spot on, apps and meals were excellent, and very attentive waitstaff. LOVE the view of the park and the skating rink (in winter).

The shrimp appetizer was terrible Heavy with grease and too much garlic Only one -2 pieces of mushroom The empty head exoskeleton was served with the appetizer With the edible part already extracted. It was listed as a shareable dish But only 5 shrimp I would not order this again

Lovely location and great service but the food was very poor. Crab cake was covered in honey mustard dressing (sometimes less is more) and I could of made better calamari at home. Mushroom ravioli was undercooked and in a watery sauce and the chicken with stuffing was very bland.

I came here for dinner a few days before Christmas. We had done some shopping at the Bryant Park holiday market, which is right outside their door, and checked out the skating rink. You can't beat the location or the interior of the restaurant, which is very attractive, but the service was very slow and the food was good, not great. There are other better options in the area and I would choose one of those over Bryant Park Grill in the future.

Eating outdoors and people-watching is an amazing NYC experience not to be missed. The food is amazing and the park is just beautiful! Nothing is cheap here, but you get what you pay for. Well worth it!

This place promises a lot but doesn’t really deliver. We had 2 courses each and not one was hot, the mushroom starters were barely lukewarm. The seafood main wasn’t hot enough and neither was the steak, both appeared to have been left waiting to be served as elements had become cool and soggy. Unpleasant to eat. The staff don’t look too happy to be there and no one asked how the food was. For the best part of $300 I expected more. A little more care and attention costs nothing. You don’t always get what you pay for.

Thanksgiving dinner at 6:30 pm with husband and 3 teens. We sat in the garden room (tent area). Beautiful tree and sparkly white lights. Dinner was delicious. Staff were all friendly and attentive. It was super expensive. But, aside from the parade, this was the highlight of my trip!

For the last 3 days I have virtually lived here enjoying the food the service and the ambiance. The food is fair and fairly priced as is the wine. Might do better upmarket on everything. Thanks to daniela isabells nil and the rest of the team. Warm greeting and fair service for a busy restaurant. Well done

Bryant Park is a magical place. Next to the library, it is a lovely square with hundreds of tables and chairs surrounding the Park and at one end next to the library is the venerable grill. We sat outside on the café side. Our BLT and wings were great. The service was attentive. The evening ambiance was unbeatable.

Please visit Locals, prob know Embarrassed to say we’re native New Yorkers and our first visit to centrally located gem in NYC ON on 42nd and 5th is not a tourist trap. Cuisine and service is of the caliber of NYC restaurants. . It’s not a tourist trap but is your in need of a great waitress and photographer Ursula is a pure professional!

We have been here several times, and it’s never a disappointment. Be prepared to bring your wallet, but it’s worth the experience. The service is excellent. We usually have the brunch on the weekends but we dined during the week for lunch and enjoyed pears, salad, and the grilled chicken sandwich washed down with a cosmopolitan and a martini, followed by dessert, which was a semolina cake out of this world.

I have been fortunate enough to visit NYC 6 times. I’ve always wanted to dine at Bryant Park Grill & this trip did exactly that. Our table was in the tent as there was a private function in the restaurant area. Immediately as we sat down the DJ started up. The noise was deafening as the door between the restaurant & tent was open. I asked to move tables or if they could close the door, we literally could not hear ourselves speak. In fairness they did close the door which helped. I ordered Crispy Squid with Aioli. All I could taste was the dirty oil the soggy (not crispy) squid had been cooked in, the aioli had zero garlic in it & they were both served with limp salad leaves, bruised and black avocado & cherry tomatoes past their best which would have been better used in a soup or sauce. Our server cleared our starters & handed us back our used cutlery for us to use with our main course! When our mains arrived I requested clean cutlery which was begrudgingly handed over still wrapped in a napkin which we already had. The mushroom ravioli with artichoke & parmesan broth was revolting. Zero presentation, it looked like it had literally been thrown in the dish. Ravioli had been bought in ready made, of cheap & poor quality. Served luke warm with 2 pieces of quartered artichoke & the sauce was not a parmesan broth, just a bland insignificant sauce. I didn’t eat it & when our server cleared they made no reference to that fact. Please do not waste your time or money by dining here. We ate at Gramercy Tavern the evening prior & there literally is no comparison, our experience there was exceptional with delicious food of similar price. We’ve also dined at Balthazar, Dhamaka, Union Sq Cafe, Cherche Midi on past trips which just serve to expose Bryant Park Grill as the disaster that it is. Great location, disastrous culinary experience.

Just drinks this time but we always appreciate being here for whatever reason. Nice staff and a nice vibe around the place.

Delicious lunch - excellent food, beautifully plated. Good service. Good choice for business meals and / or dining with friends.

My husbands office is nearby, so we stopped in on a Wednesday for dinner after a work meeting . So pleasantly surprised with the service, the meal, the drinks, the lighting, the ambiance.

It would have been great if the food wasn’t bad. There wasn’t many options and they all looked gross honestly I think the whole place is cute but I didn’t like the food options. And there was nothing for kids besides the small $20 cheese burger bites I wouldn’t go

It’s a beautiful room, and the food was excellent as well. It was perfect for a quiet Sunday evening dinner on my own—calm, comfortable, high quality. My server, Fermin, was great.

I’ve always wanted to eat here after reading about it in a book years ago so we saved this for our last meal before leaving NYC. I’m so pleased it didn’t disappoint. It was a warm afternoon and we chose to eat in the tent which was probably not the best idea as there wasn’t much fresh air circulating but it was pretty with a great view of the lawn. I ordered a Sangria cocktail which was delicious then all four of us ordered the filet burger special which was delicious. We’d ordered our burgers cooked differently but they were all muddled when the came out and you could only tell how they’d been cooked by cutting into them so that was a bit of a pain, but they were delicious, and the home made onion ring was delish. Quite expensive but I’m so pleased I got to try it and I’d happily go back.

Three stars for only the atmosphere. The food was okay-passable, I guess. But the service was probably the worst service I’ve ever received. Just bizarre. Among many issues, we weren’t offered drinks, nor were we ever checked on, which seem minor but combined with everything it was not good at all. Beautiful patio atmosphere, though.

Really enjoyed our meal and atmosphere. Creative menu, attentive staff. Pretty expensive but worth it. We had the Friday special monk fish which was delish

The service was poor. We sat at the table quite a while before the waiter came over to take our order. He was not friendly at all. The food was fair! We had 2 salmon dishes. The Atlantic salmon was dry and tasteless. The salmon special was such a small piece of fish with a cream sauce on top for 48 dollars. The pear salad was good.

Went here on Memorial Day with daughter and had great food and excellent service. We had reservation to sit inside, but weather was perfect to sit outside. Both of us are not big eaters so we ordered from appetizer menu and left full. I sat inside in 2021 with son and husband and we loved it also. My husband, son, and I are vegetarian and we very happy with the options.

Large group meal. Great service. Wine was great. The food was good to for a group. Great atmosphere and location. Lovely room.

Food was very good. Large portions. Waiter gave us lots of time to sit and catch up before asking for our orders. Not rushed at all. Friends had Moroccan chicken and fish and chips. I had fennel salad with tuna. All meals were very tasty.

We were visiting New York for Christmas and I chose the Bryant Park Grill for our Christmas Day dinner. Past experience has sometimes taught me the sad lesson that some restaurants regard major holidays as their chance to put tourists in a take-it-or-leave-it situation. NOT the case here! Not by a long shot. The holiday menu options were plentiful and the dishes we ordered (salmon for my husband, duck for me) were absolutely delicious! I also know from experience that ordering duck runs the risk of getting something too fatty or too dry. Again, NOT the case here. My duck was prepared perfectly--moist, tender, and very flavorful. Yum! My main concern when dining out is how well my husband's severe food allergy is treated by the restaurant. No complaints here! Special praise for our waiter, Fermín, who made very sure that my husband could dine safely. Fermín is, in my opinion, a treasure. I am now eagerly scanning the Bryant Park website for a Valentine's Day return visit!

Came here for a Sunday evening drink after browsing in the market opposite. Didn’t stay long but atmosphere was nice and quiet although we didn’t order any food other tables did and it looked good.

I took my team here for after-work drinks and dinner. Bryant Park Grill has been a midtown staple for years. I wouldn't choose this restaurant based on the food (which was fine, just not all that memorable). It's the outdoor seating, park views, and great service that I recommend. Side note: as a plant-based, gluten free eater there were just a couple of items that I could enjoy. It was more about the atmosphere for me.

Sitting outside when the weather is nice is wonderful! Nice tables and cloth napkins, even outside, good service. Light dishes like salads are pretty good and reasonably priced. We recommend the quinoa salad or tuna salad.

Food was served Luke warm. We ordered salmon and branzino, salmon was very mediocre quality and branzino was testy. The food was returned after I complained but the squash was now burnt and the asparagus was even colder. The atmosphere in the main room is lovely but too noisy and the tent in which we sat was like a giant wedding space. When I was asked if we enjoyed our meal, I explained why we were disappointed. No response, waiter was stone faced.

Sadly this restaurant never delivers food wise. Really dreadful Caesar salad- how do you screw this up but inedible chicken is a start. Undercooked pasta in watery cream sauce was just inexcusable. Such a shame for a location that trades on the tourist dollar.

As a restaurant, it is perfectly located in Bryant Park. They have a dining room, an outdoor, a marquee, and a rooftop. We booked the garden as it was the only table available but when we asked on arrival we were told the only options they have for food were the marquee or we could wait to sit outside. We then heard someone enquire about the rooftop and they were told they could sit up there but it was a different menu, so that was a little confusing. The food for the main restaurant was very good and I would definitely go back to eat there again. We did go up to the rooftop after our meal for a drink and it was a much better view of the park from there and a nice setting. I wish you could have the main menu up on the rooftop but the rooftop menu did look good too, just a bit more limited.

Perfect spot for a late lunch on a rainy day. Had tried to eat here a few times and it didn’t disappoint. I had the most flavoursome food, muscles on sourdough and loved every mouthful. If you manage to get here on a sunny day I’m sure you experience a real treat.

I always go back to the restaurant for lunch on the weekend I'm in NYC. The view is beautiful, the atmosphere super pleasant, excellent service and food. I recommend making a reservation.

A group of 10, we had a wonderful brunch the Sunday before Christmas. The service, food and atmosphere were great. The Bryant Park Holiday Pop Up Shops, right out front are fun, as well as watching the skaters. Bryant Park Grill is a gem any time of year. We enjoy it there.

Dining here with coworkers, what stands out almost immediately is the amount of business meetings that happen in this restaurant. This is clearly upscale with business-casual attire the expectation. I started off with a Hibiscus Champagne Cocktail and for the vegetarian main course, went with the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. This restaurant with its food is a great experience, and while not for regular dining (unless you have the money), it is still worth going at least once in a while to take in NYC while away from the usual noise.

We went to dinner in mid October, sat outside on their lovely patio. The dinner was delicious, the service excellent. The setting was spectacular. Chess players still playing in the park, workers on their way home, lovers going out, they were all in view. It is behind the New York Public Library. If you are in Midtown, go there. (Make a reservation.)

This is my favorite restaurant to dine at in NY. The interior has warmth and charm and when seated in the atrium area, you have the most beautiful view of Bryant Park...which is a winter wonderland. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for NYC. Very enjoyable evening!

We were able to get into Bryant Park Grill after ice-skating. We sat in the "outside" area and it was so beautiful. The employees were so nice and friendly, really made us feel at home. The food was soooo great! I got the avocado, tomato, cucumber appetizer and it was fresh and vibrant. My friend got the chicken ceasar salad and it was very big and very tasty. Thank you for such a great lunch!

Our table looked out to the pretty, wintry rink scene in the middle of Bryant Park. We love this Park in any season but particularly over the winter. Sadly the rink is going to close on 5 March so we wanted to have dinner at the restaurant before that and before we had to fly out. We had a lovely and very attentive server named Tanya who helped us to decide on the tuna and avocado appetizer to share and then seafood pasta and a Branzino fish dish. The dishes were huge and quite tasty but our location was a must.

Beautiful location behind public library. Service was so-so as it got crowded after 6pm. The duck was just ok and very spicy. Not was $150 for two with a shared drink.

The espresso Martine (esma) is not on the menu but is a classic so they can make. For my taste too much vodka not enough coffee liqueur. The red wine as so often too hot, with hot weather it is often not room temperature. This fruity cheap wine is better served a little cooler. The soup was delicious. The service extremely friendly and the location great with good weather. In winter with the skating rink on the doorstep too. The filet mignon burger was totally good. Good medium baked but also not special. Another big bowl of fries. Had a lovely evening with great food but the drinks could be better for $20 dollars on average.

My wife and I are New Yorkers who treat New York as we would any city we are visiting: we love being tourists. That said, Bryant Park is an amazing tourist spot and after walking around, we decided to eat at the Grill (not our first time here). As always it was delicious and to top it off we had a delightful conversation with John, the host, who added to the luncheon pleasure. Highly recommended.

Really nice place overlooking Bryant Park. Very good dinner and prices in line with new york (not and not expensive at all). It's not easy to find a place in NYC to dine outdoors, this place is perfect and very cute. They also helped us cook food without spices as we have several intolerances. We took a sea bass with sautéed vegetables and a salmon side dish and paid about $85 tip not included!

When we arrived. We were asked for our choice of beverage. Completely shocked at the waitress Gabby who poured three full glasses without allowing us to taste. It gets worse. We were ready to order… I stated my starter and Gabby clicked her fingers and asked for the menu. Whilst I looked up in disbelief.. she snatched the menu out of my hand. We decided to speak to the manager… angel I believe.. he tried but didn’t try to listen to our feedback. Whilst waiting to leave… Gabby came back and said have a nice evening. Wow. You need to check the cameras and see what angles memeber of staff you have. Clearly not suited for customer service and clearly I don’t know why but massive power trip. Would never recommend this place

Great place to sit outside in Bryant Park. Rather on the expensive side (what isn't these days in NYC), but very good steak and fries.

The highlight of this place is obviously its location, right in Bryant Park. On a nice day, it's lovely. Only had brunch dishes and they were decent

Lunch in mid-town during the holidays in December is busy! Nonetheless, we enjoyed our lunch in the busy dining room of the BRYANT PARK GRILL. It was festive, with white tablecloths, a full bar, and excellent food - a perfect place for a nice lunch during the holidays. It was a bit loud and crowded but it cleared out close to 2 pm.

Charming location and pleasant environment. Attentive staff; good menu and drinks options. Quality of food good- great long lunch

Unexpected quality for a restaurant dealing with large tourist crowds. Food is fresh and well prepared. Service has always been very good. Attentive and responsive staff.

After a stroll through the 6th Ave street fair on a hot Sunday afternoon the Bryant Park Grill was the perfect place to escape the heat. More than the air conditioning brought us in to eat…it was the cool atmosphere and enticing menu. We were seated by a window with an amazing view of park’s activities and a beautiful meal.

Restaurante dentro do belo parque Braynt park. Careful and professional service. High price for the quality offered. A vulgar burger with fries for 39 euros is undoubtedly an exaggerated price. Worth the dessert.

New York, specifically Manhattan can be a tough place to receive gracious service. But ! am happy to report that ALL staff (4) we encountered were pleasant and professional. When we had a slight incident with a food item the manager Jordan made it a special point to come over and take care of things!

The restaurant was just okay. It was a very pleasant atmosphere and nicely decorated for Christmas. However, we were seated behind the door and cold air was blowing in the whole time. It was doable, but definitely not desirable. We ordered the burrata and heirloom tomatoes, and when I said that to the waiter, he rudely corrected me saying “it’s all one thing.” Well, maybe list it differently on the menu if you don’t want the guest to say it? We ordered the steak burger and it was extremely thick, dry, and very little sauce. The bun was borderline stale. I ate it with a fork and enjoyed just the bun half that included the sauce and grilled onions. The best part of the meal was the fries! I would order a huge batch of those again - and a plate of fries is actually on the menu! Overall, they could make this a great spot if they tweaked service and food items. Perhaps the more expensive entrees are best? But a guest shouldn’t have to wonder.

Thanks to the lockdown, you are limited to outdoor dining. Provided you get a good day, it's great, you can dine while admiring the park etc. But for some reason you feel even closer to the loudmouth family behind you and the guy with the noisy baby in front of you. We also saw a rat scurry alongside the building at one point. I gotta give it to them, though. The staff was on point, even in dealing with the unruly crowd. Food was a bit expensive and pretentious.. but delicious. I'd really say New York is the best, right?

The surprise was how good this place is. I expected a tourist trap and what we got was an excellent meal in a delightful setting. We both had Caesars, mine with shrimp and hers with chicken. I loved it, and here is why: there are some Caesar dressings with a sour vinegary taste and some with not, and I like not. This was not--it was perfect. And the Romaine lettuce was sweet! And the shrimp and the chicken were delicious. Good Bloody Mary, good mimosa, good service. Big room with big windows out to the park. I felt like part of a scene and I loved it. Expensive, yes, but what would you expect, and the point is we got value for the money here.

Great location and food was excellent, but the service was poor which makes all the difference. Never had a waiter count the tip in front of me and then say ‘that’s not enough” well it was all he was getting, I even tried to get it back but he’d already marched off !!

We have always enjoyed meals at the Bryant Grill over many years on visits to New York. We have often recommended it to others many times as well. It was therefore a natural choice to celebrate the evening of our 40th wedding anniversary but how wrong we were to do so! On arrival, we were welcomed back to the restaurant and shown to a nice window table ( the booking was confirmed months ago) to then be told that area of the restaurant had been closed. We were then shown a table on our own in a back corner which we refused and finally settled on a table they didn’t want to give us as it was set for three rather than two. We ordered champagne. There was no query as to why that may be and no reference to our special day at any point during the evening. This was in spite of it being made clear on the booking and other tables celebrating their special events and being congratulated by the staff. We then proceeded to be frozen by the air conditioning and asked twice for it to be made warmer. The restaurant wasn’t busy but other guests had their coats on too and the manager appeared to be wearing a thick woolly jumper! Eventually it became warmer. The food was nice with the kitchen totally let down by front of house. The serving of the food was more like you’d expect in a diner, slammed down in front of us with no finesse. The waitress did her best to compensate but with a manager of who appears to think that glaring at and ignoring guests is good customer service she is fighting a losing battle. We will not return. I realise that the restaurant will not respond to this which goes some way to explain why it was pretty much empty on a weekend evening in June.

Oh my, we had a cocktail to start our meal and it was the best we had in USA, and excellent value as it was huge. The menu has a great selection and the food we did order was delicious. Staff very pleasant and professional. The venue seating outside in June is perfect especially if combined with an event in the park. The wine list was ok, and a bit on the expensive side, which is our only mild complaint.

We stayed at the nearby Marriott Courtyard on 40th so this was a short walk to the NYC Pubic Library and behind it to the gorgeous Bryant Park Grill. What a treat! It was a beautiful autumn evening so we sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful vegetarian feast! Despite the drizzle, we were under umbrellas and loved this perfect patio treat.

A regular haunt for me when I’m in the Big Apple. Consistently good for business. Food is high quality and the decor and service suitable for business meetings. Never fails to deliver as.a safe bet.

This restaurant just behind the historical landmark of the New York Library was a terrible experience. The lack of attention from the staff made me leave the table before I had even ordered thinking that with the time it took them to bring the menu I would probably have to wait a year for the food to actually get served. Not a place I would ever visit again.

We ordered apps/desserts for the table and a few drinks. Everything was solid, esp. the desserts (Lemon Chess Pie and Choc Tart), and the service was great - very attentive and our water glasses were constantly refilled. am a NYer for 33 years and hadn’t been to BPG in about a decade. Not at all the tourist trap i feared, and will definitely return soon.

Pleasant terrace in a very charming urban landscape. Good food and normal prices (for NY standars). Nice!

We were visiting the Bryant Park Winter Village and needed a break. We were told it could be 45 minutes so we gave them our name anyway…15 minutes later we were seated in a beautiful space. Our young waiter was very professional as well as personable. The drinks and food were so good. Next time I’m in NY I plan to come here for dinner. Our stop here made our day magical…although the drinks helped too!

Had a delicious dinner with a fantastic waiter. tuna, salmon, crab cake. the inside was beautiful with large windows overlooking Bryant Park, the ambiance was warm and not over pretintiou

We had Christmas dinner here, as a large family group. The atmosphere was very nice, the food decent and the service was OK, although one of our group got the wrong starter (but ate it anyway, as it was pretty good) and there was a bit of confusion with our bill. While everything was pretty good, it did feel overpriced, and I got the feeling it was mostly used by tourists, but I could be wrong. Either way, you could get better value, probably without needing to go too far. The midtown location in Bryant Park with the Christmas market, is great, though.

Unusually hot day in NY April 89f, we sat inside the main building. For the prices I'm expecting a cut above so I'll mention the negatives. Waited over an hour for food (couple next to use, waited less and left), my problem was the waiter didn't acknowledge us while waiting until asked about it. He was ok after that, just said was unusually busy inside, usualyl its all outside on hot days. While waiting couldn't help notice the flies flying around the light above us, annoying and not what you'd expect at a place like this. Everyone enjoyed food. My only complaint is the fish n chips was woefully inadequate for an adult at over $30 + tip. The chips were good, appeared hand made fresh, however it only came with ONE fillet of fish about the same size as you get in a packet of Gorton's or Mrs Pauls at the supermarket! The batter felt their own but the actual fish...meh, could have been frozen supermarket fillet for all I could tell, certainly not the foot long beauty you get in authentic English fisn n chips portion (I'm English). Another thing is they have a cake cutting "fee" (waived because they took over an hour to serve us), kinda laughable to charge a fee for cutting cake, like you can't manage it yourselves and oddly they cut a round cake in oblong pieces not like you would from a pie shaped cake. So, people go on about the fish n chips, well maybe its ok for a kid, but when I saw it I knew I'd still be hungry after.

What a great place to dine and unwind after work. I had a 3 course meal here with work associates...salad wasn’t memorable but the branzino and coconut cake were amazing!!! I’ve been craving the cake with the coconut crisp since I’ve left.

My favorite park in the city so I love being able to grab a bite in the same area! We chose to sit outside even though it was in August. Staff was friendly, great menu selections. Prices are comparable to what you would expect. Enjoyed my visit & will return!

This is a great spot! Located in exciting Bryant Park, the "Bryant Park Grill" is a pleasure. I sat in the outer section, probably an extension from the '2020 etc.' period. The food and service were both good. The server, Yaffa, kept things going in fine style. Poached pear, walnut & blue cheese salad, followed by mussels. The dessert was a home made Sorbet, and it was excellent! I will go back :-).

For an excellent food experience, Bryant Park Grill is the place. Had dinner with my daughter, both enjoyed the experience. Server was good but not the best. Must visit while in New York. I do.

My wife and I met friends from out of town for dinner at the Bryant Park Grill. The restaurant has a huge footprint in Bryant Park with outdoor seating, rooftop dining, a full bar with bar seating and an elegant heated tent. We began with appetizers of Moroccan lamb kabobs, pork belly sliders and tuna and salmon tartar. All were delicious with layers of flavors and fresh ingredients. Our dinner entrees were equally delicious. We selected the sweet and spicy monkfish, the grilled pork tenderloin, the pan roasted sea bass and pan roasted branzino. Each was served with fresh vegetables, and depending on the entree, delicious polenta, risotto or oven roasted potatoes. Desserts were the creme brulee and bourbon apple pie. Wait staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating to dietary needs. Bryant Park Grill is a must for dinner in NYC.

How awful!! The service was extremely (!) unfriendly. But we didn't care. Unfortunately, the food was just as inedible. A horrible mush, unseasoned and absolutely tasteless. For 3 people, small salad, main course, 1 bottle of wine...$360...no, it was absolutely not worth it. Better to go a few streets away or straight to the Village! Never again!

I last visited this venue in 2015 The quality of the service was a lifetime memory and brought me back in 2023. Sad to see the park covered by pop up stores BUT the restaurant and the staff lived up to my memory Fantastica BTW best cosmopolitan I have ever had ❤️

I dont know how this eatery is getting high reviews for their food. Location: 5 stars , of course. The only reason why people come here. Service: Hosts were nice and seated customers promptly. Waiters (several of them) are a bit obnoxious and presumptuous for no reason. If you hate "serving" the public find a cubical job instead. Just unpleasant experience. On top of that I got ingnored as a solo person table, got passed on instead catering to a couple who came after me with no reservations as well. Got a bit butt hurt but I'll get over it. Food: Tragedy. The Avocado, tomato, cucumber salad w feta cheese was just blah, like white chalk. The bread pieces were burned, I mean it's not a lot of food to mess up, and yet here we are. Not memorable at all. The other dish was the crab cake or failed attempt at it. The crab cake was sitting on a bunch of greens with balsamic vinaigrette mixed in. The crab cale itself was covered in dijon mustard on top. Either to hide the subpar cooking abilities or non existence of them to add flavor to the patty. The combination of balsamic vin. with honey dijon mustard is a confused combination all together. A bit taken back by experience. I left the place full and not hungry, but feeling a bit dissapointed at the quality of the dishes (for the prices that you get to pay). Such a let down I declined to get any dessert as that would just be a subpar cherry on the top and another slap in a face on the check amount. Not going back, and not recommending this to anyone. Shockingly disappointing.

My husband and I went to eat here last night and had a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding thanks to our server, Jon. The weather was perfect to dine outside and the atmosphere was just lovely with tables, umbrellas, and greenery. We were fortunate to able to hear the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra which played a selection of music from James Bond movies in the park that night. A special shout out to another server, Nick, who always takes great care of us and to Ramen (sp?) who was so thoughtful. This is a very well run restaurant. The food was solid with generous portions. We will return.

On a visit to the Christmas pop ups we decided to have lunch in Bryant Park. Where else would you try other than the Bryant Park Grill. Even without a reservation we were shown to a brilliant and quiet table. The service was first rate with very helpful staff. The main course portions were large enough that they could be shared - provided you had a starter. The food was of a high standard.

Wonderful place to eat! We sat in the bar. I had the tomato basil soup and Caesar salad. Soup was creamy and delicious . Caesar salad - big portion with chicken breast. Crispy Korean sandwich with slaw- very good. Great ice tea, Brooklin 6 beer very good as well. Would recommend .

Very pleasant atmosphere and nice place on Bryan Park. Very good dishes and impeccable service. Good value for money for New York

Service was ok. The Food and Quality not Good. Food is completely overpaid. Wont come back again. Much better Places in NY

The best part of this restaurant is the outdoor seating - we happened to be dining here when a symphony concert was going on in the park and it was wonderful. It's a fun spot to people watch and the surroundings are beautiful. The service was pretty good - staff were friendly. The food was fine - wish it had been a bit better for the high cost (got the chicken dish, burger, and fish dish). I would recommend atleast once just for the beautiful park views but know the food is very expensive and just fine.

Great location in Bryant Park. If the night accompanies, eating outside is ideal. Good food, limited wine list and very good service. It's worth going.

We were delighted with our Christmas lunch at Bryant Park Grill, which was recommended by friends. The restaurant was very busy of course, but we received excellent service from our waitress Dena who is to be commended on the great job she does and she made our visit extra special. The food was good, there was a large menu choice and we will certainly return next time we visit NY.

Overall, our visit was okay. The place is very nicely located at Bryantpark, where you can sit outside on warm days. Inside, the place may be a bit old-fashioned, though stylish, and the Service is very friendly. The food is good and priced fine, but now no culinary experience either.

Beautiful restaurant, and even though crowded, still has the ambiance you desire for a nice romantic dinner. We had the lobster and seafood plate, and the seafood pasta. Big chunks of lobster in the one, and probably 3 dozen mussels and 6 or 7 jumbo shrimp in the other. Sooooo delicious; we were stuffed afterwards. This place was recommended to us by family who had visited New York and they are still on our Christmas card list! You will not be disappointed!
Drinks ONLY!
Nice venue overlooking Bryant Park but... Food quality was pretty bad... Reminds me of a lousy food court stall ... Errrr.... The Chopped Avocado, Tomato & Cucumber Salad was not fresh. The pita bread was burnt. I think the avocado had already turned as it was on the dark side... Soup of the day was minestrone, just like the photos shown, it looked and tasted like canned soup. Good spot for drinks ONLY.
