This can best be described as a post-business day grab dinner with work buddies prior to catching the Metro-North or LIRR restaurant. Establishment is attractive, however, the stone and mirrors reflect sound, so it is deafeningly noisy. The customer base skews 80% male and apparently regulars. That includes clients earing in baseball caps or wearing attire best seen in a local bar. The servers couldn't be bothered to check on our wine (or water) glasses. We waited inordinately long (over 40 minutes) for our main course service, while the gents at the nearby tables (who arrived after we did) were served promptly so they could make that 8:30PM train. By 8:30PM the restaurant is clearing out, which confirms that it a post- business day joint. I gave it 2 points because it is pretty and the food was reasonable quality. There are any number of other restaurants within 150 yards which are more attentive and pleasing. I won't mention names as I don't want to be accused of being a shill for other establishments.

The ambience and friendliness of staff here cannot be beaten. This new restaurant has a great menu, wonderful wine selections and the dessert is delicious. The facilities are truly beautiful and they have a few sizes of rooms appropriate for private events, including one that overlooks the kitchen.

We were looking for a solid midtown Italian for our daughter’s 16th birthday. We decided to try Bucatini knowing it was new…also knowing that as a new restaurant they may be ironing out some opening issues. We are so happy we chose this restaurant! They were definitely running around trying to take care of everyone, so service was a tad slow at the beginning. But it got better from there. The food was delicious, so so so good. We have high expectations and they met them with flying colors. We will definitely be back when we return to manhattan! We are not related to this restaurant and did not receive any promo to write this review, truly delightful experience.

Incredible experience at Bucatini! Beautiful and comfortable interior! We met Raffael (Sommelier) in Italy in April. When we heard he was at Bucatini we couldn’t wait to Visit! Exceptional service from everyone! The tuna tartare was creative and delicious! Everything on the menu was superb! Raff recommended amazing wines for food pairings! We went with our adult children, friends, and a teenager with food allergies. The kitchen went above and beyond to cater to the allergies. Huge thank you! Raff creates, and executes, an amazing dining experience! Such a fun evening! We can’t wait to return!

We stopped for coffee and dessert, the coffee was delicious, the dessert was excellent, the service was perfect, we sat outside, we had great fun.

Staff and restaurant were excellent and attentive. Food was absolutely fantastic and served to perfection. Well worth the visit for a fantastic experience.
We will return with friends!!
Decided to give this a shot after checking out their menu online. Food was delicious - I had salmon with polenta that was cooked perfectly. Nice and juicy. My husband had the branzino which he also enjoyed. The Caesar salad was tasty with just enough anchovy. We chose an Etna Bianco to go with it - a surprise to find Sicilian wines on a US menu. Service was very good too. Decor and music was inviting. We could actually hear each talk other without screaming! Not so in many restaurants now. We would recommend it and go back.
