We found this little place to have an inexpensive breakfast before heading out for the day. The staff is great and quickly found us a table for 5 both times we visited here. Don't let the size deceive you when you walk in-they also have an upstairs. Can't say enough about the helpful staff.

We had breakfast at this ambience free dive and were underwhelmed by the food and service. The burgers might be great but the eggs and toast must be difficult for the chefs to master. Pros: allegedly great burgers Cons: tasteless decor and breakfast items, sloppy service

Great burgers, with a great tasting relish. Quick and prompt service. After eating at tavern on the green and Mickey Mantles restaurant we were relieved to finally eat at a nice quick restaurant that doesn't rip you off. Would we go back? In a heartbeat. My 9 year old and 13 yearold kept on asking to return.

when i went to new york city i ate here and it was heaven. the prices are affordable that anybody can come and just get what they want. the restaurant is very clean and i had no problems with the bathrooms at all. the food is delicious and the burgers here i strongly recommend getting. the atmosphere here is good and the location is in a great place near everything. overall its a great dining experience and i would go back.

The place is really nice, has good burgers, service is good too. The price is fair. It's a nice place to stop by while walking around and enjoy a nice burger.

I was on my way to my hotel and passed this place so I made a mental note to try it out. I was at the location on 53rd about 3 blocks east of 6th avenue. I sat at the counter, wait staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered "Yankee Bean" soup and a burger with bleu cheese and bacon. The soup was delicous, the burger excellent. My bacon was perfectly cooked, nice slices. The lettuce was crisp and tomato deep red and just firm enough. My only gripe was the waitress asked if I wanted pickles, which I said yes to but then she never brought them. With tip, it was $25, so it is not cheap, but I would go back.

We ate lunch here - nice little diner feel with counter service and small booths. I had a BLT on fresh rye - excellent - lots of fresh tomatoes, bacon and lettuce with good mayo..one of the better BLTs I've had. My husband had a turkey and cheese on rye - simple but fresh and good. The sandwiches came with slaw and good pickles. Lunch was about 18.00 - it was tasty!

Needs to be more cleaner I had a tiny fly in my coke and when I told then they acted as if it happened before . Rather than that the food was good

Husband & I stopped in with 2 kids for late lunch. Burgers and sloppy joe sandwiches were good. Fries and sweet potatoe fries were also good. Service could have been better. They brought most of our food... We kept waiting for the rest. Finally we realized they forgot the burger and my 4 yr old's sweet potato fries. Turned out not to be a quick stop. Food was good.

My daughter and I went here after our visit to St. Patricks Cathedral which is right around the corner. It has a updated diner feeling and was very clean. We were quickly seated at the bar and the service was fast and efficient. I had the blue cheese burger medium rare and it came out perfectly cooked. My daughter had a regular burger cooked medium rare and curly fries which were also cooked perfectly. The portions are large so you may want to share with a friend. I thought the prices were average for NY. As we were checking out the staff were very helpful in giving us directions to our next destination.

Classic diner food, good service, clean.

Try the other sandwiches. They're really good too. I love the egg salad. Service is fast and you can get in and out as fast or as slow as you want.

Popped in for a burger which was well cooked tasty and reasonable value for the central location. Service was very good

Great Service! Great Food! Family Friendly. Best Turkey Burger and Curly Fries I've ever had in NYC.

This is the second trip to NYC where we've made it a point to eat our breakfasts here. The food is always good. The servers, and management have always been very pleasant. At lunch, there is always a crowd, mostly locals with a few tourists sprinkled into the mix. We usually have the two egg breakfast. The eggs are always prepared to order, served with crusty and tasty sourdough bread. Yummy! This restaurant is a short five minute walk for the fine midtown hotels on Park and Lex. Guests at the Waldorf (as we were) need only walk two blocks. Same for guests as the Barclay, Doubletree and Omni Berkshire. Prices are quite low considering the excellent location. Highly recommended as a delicious alternative to high-priced hotel food.

The burgers were good, but nothing special. You can get a lot better for the same price in the city, and I thought in comparison to places on the West Side I had been to (this was on 5th Ave) you could get the same quality for $3-4 less. I also didn't think the fries were anything great, although I did really like the coleslaw. From reading the other reviews, my coleslaw was of good quality - not dry at all. However, the main reason I am not going back is because of the waitress. We paid the bill and left a $3 tip. Admittedly, this was only about 10%, which I realise is not the standard, but we didn't think she deserved anymore - we found her rather pushy and annoying. What really made our blood boil was that she had the hide to ask for more. I don't know whether she thought were new in town (we're not, we've been here almost a month) and didn't understand how it worked, or she heard our accents and was just trying to milk more out of us, but we thought it was incredibly rude to ask.

Stopped in after visiting MoMa. Food was excellent. Burgers are huge. Service was ok, gentleman at hostess station never got up...just pointed to tables and barked orders at the waitress behind the counter.

Ate here most days for breakfast, good quick service, great selection and tasted great.. what else do you need!!

This was a great place to have your typical American burger and it didn't disappoint. Other people may have unfortunately just had one bad day sadly. However, the staff were attentive, the portions huge and cooked to one's preference, so pretty fab all round I have to say. Btw, we didn't think it was expensive and would go back again when next visiting NY.

When my colleagues suggested a lunch at Burger Heaven, I was hesitant. I had seen the chain around the city and try to avoid places like this. The name is also not very appealing. However, the restaurant has much more than hamburgers. It is, in fact, a nice diner. Though the prices are a bit high, the portions are huge. I ordered the Asian Salad with grilled chicken, crispy noodles, mesclun greens, almonds, sesame seeds, and peanut dressing. The salad offered a variety of textures and was delicious. The salad was topped with a very large piece of grilled chicken that was also well-marinated. I loved the fact that they offered us pita bread to accompany our salads. Burger Heaven is a tasty diner perfect for a satisfying breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Nice and juicy burger cooked to order. Not the best burger I have ever had. The bun it was on was pretty delicious and was toasted to perfection. Sometimes bigger is overrated and I think that might be the case here. If the burger was a little more flavorful it would have rated a very good. The turkey burger was ok, slightly dry, but ok as turkey burgers go. The service was friendly and quick and the food came out so fast it was pretty amazing. Only downfall was that it was 91 degrees out and they didn't have the air on, it was slightly uncomfortable.

Found this little place by chance walking around where we were staying. It's a lovely styled diner and very kind staff. Food was delicious too, I would definitely recommend this place and we hope to be going back there again sometime this week before we leave!

Popped in for burgers - had a burger heaven burger and cheese burger - good quality meat, decent sizes. Sweet potato fries were lovely. This isn't the place to come for an up market meal but for a good lunch with excellent service then this is perfect

Really nice and delicious burger, worth money and affordable. I got heaven burger with french fries and got an espresso, both were awesome! Friendly waitrresses and very convenient to get in and out.

I'm not a fun of sitting in front of the mirror when eating but if you are then it's for you. You are being seated by the bar looking at the mirror and the serving person takes the order. Annoyingly the lady was asking me every 5 sec if the food was good which actually was not special ( turkey burger on the salad). The few tomatoes in my salad started to rot... Neighbor's cheeseburger looked disgusting. I felt suck afterwards and felt awful all afternoon.

I have heard of this mini-chain for years. It has its fans. But I had never gone in. So when the place across tthe street, Mon Petit Cafe, was lacksadaisical about opening on time, I went here. First of all, it is shiny and sparkling. White decor. Clever neon sign. Seems recently renovated. Cheerful and many tables, booths for 2 which is rare in coffee shops of my experience. I didn't eat a burger because it was early but the fruit salad was a cut above. Recommend.

In a city that loves to rip off tourists, myself and my boyfriend couldn't be more thrilled with burger heaven. We went there 3 times for breakfast during our stay in NYC. It has a wide range of breakfasts and is such good value for money. So much food and tasty too. Really good value, we would eat around 11 and be set for the day! Delish (especially the bagels)!!!!!

if you are looking for a great place to have a simple meal, this is the place. The burgers are AAA quality, great meat, bread and side orders, and the service is 1st class. They acomodate families with small children.

It is a typical traditional Americain burger joint. Fabulous burgers, great sides and free soda re-fills, what more do you want for lunch?! Maybe a taxi to pick you up because you are so stuffed!! A must visit!

This is a welcoming, efficient burger resto that offers a nice, inexpensive , diner-style breakfast featuring great hash browns, eggs, bagels and delicious coffee as well as a complete menu featuring omelettes, pancakes, bacon, etc. I would return for sure as everything had flavour and was good quality

I loved many things while I was working next-door, but I will definitely love the Caesar Salad and beef burger for life:)

Have been before and it was good. My only complaint is the fries were cold and soggy. Not busy at the time so they should have been fresh. I would have sent them back but don't like to do it when with other couples.

A good clean bustling cafe just off Madison Avenue. We went the at lunch time. It was packed but we got good food and good service. I would happily eat here again.

The turkey burger was so thick, I had to slice it in half to eat it! The sweet potato fries was yummy!

excellent value for money wonderful food. We found this resturant by chance one morning whilst lookin for breakfast. They provide a set menu for breakfast complete with refills of coffee and tea. The portions were large and we didnt need a lunch. staff were lovely and they were always very freindly and happy with a large welcoming smile 1st thing in the morning.

I was just in NYC for a short trip and was shopping along Madison Avenue when I found Burger Heaven. Originally my plan was to head to Seredipity for lunch, but when i walked by a customer was walking out saying that was the best lunch they have had. I quickly switched my plan and went into Burger Heaven. The restaurant was packed. I was seated right away, and the service was quick from there. I ordered the house cheeseburger with sweet potato french fries. It was delicious and I was very happy I decided to skip Serendipity and stop in Burger Heaven. I found out as I was leaving that this was a restaurant featured on Celebrity Apprentice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Not the worst meal I had ever had but certainly not very memorable either. Burgers are OK, just OK nothing special and the place was clean enough but not spotless. I would only dine here again if I was too lazy to find another place or in a bit of a hurry as their service is good and quick so don't go out of your way to come here

This place is a must for breakfast - amazing pancakes and good coffee!

We ate here twice and were really impressed. The service is quick, friendly and efficient, and the food was great. You have the option to sit at the counter, or on tables, so very authentic american diner style...as Brits we loved it. Wish we had one here in London, the eggs were AMAZING!

I had breakfast at the 20 East 49th street location. Food was prompt and overall diner quality - although very average diner. The real feat was when the waitress decided to charge or hide an extra 10 USD tip in the bill - by adding this up to the meal we had. I confronted the cashier - who didint even offered an apology, wasnt shocked about it, did nothing to set this right other than recalculate. After I paid she quickly tipped the waitress off. All in all - it felt, seemed and was handled like something that was routine or structural between these two people. I suggest to be very careful.

the worst burger restaurant in NY. The quality of the food is not there, the atmosphere neither. The waiter was kind, but ineffective. If you see positive comments they have must be written by the owner!

I wish I could give it a zero! We had two bacon cheese burgers, fries, onion rings, two shakes, grilled cheese, and a Diet Coke. $65 plus tip. Food is all pre prepared and just heated up to serve. The shakes and curly fries were good. I think I would try a street vender before going here again!

Well, what a deserved meal, great value, and HUGE portions, staff were great, and was just, well, great!

Ate lunch there on Oct 25 at the Lex Ave location. Got sick a few hours later and threw up until 3:45am. Called the store and the manager said it was not his problem and to leave him alone. I've been in food service over 20 years and never witnessed a response like that. Diners beware!!!

Really enjoyable place to eat, we both had classic burgers, both really nice, with iced tea and milkshakes, both really nice. Service was friendly and quick. Well priced, and would eat here again.

the name says it all, this truly is burger heaven. Reasonably priced, big portions, mouth watering food. I would go back in an instant.

I will tell you, this is a very, very good burger spot. I came across it completely by mistake, and was so hungry by the time I passed it that I had to go eat in there. I was so impressed, I challenged my buddy to come eat at this place and rate the burger. He took 1 bite and went on for 20 minutes about the size of the burger and the taste being absolutely perfect considering the location it is in NY. The burgers are huge, the meat is really soft and I didn’t add ketchup or whatever to the burger. Whatever you buy, eat that without adding anything further to the burger. They are designed perfectly as they are by chefs, adding things to the burgers will mess them up. The service is very good and the pricing is excellent considering the size of the burgers. It's crazy that you can get that in NYC.

Great place, service, and food. We ate two excelent burguers and I can still remember the lemonade. It´s a good place for going is you are in your break.

Food was very good, very fresh and tasty, servers were very friendly and helpful, good priced food for a city.

Our family came across this burger place during our walk up Madison. The place has a diner feel to it and is quite busy. Both business people and tourists were to be found here d´the day we visited. The service is fast and the food is good. The burgers are juicy and big and are served with good fries. Looking for good burgers this is a good place to start (if you are far away from Albies on 10th)

My wife and I ate lunch here. The waiter was welcoming, the burgers were excellent, the milk shakes were good not great, the fries were very good. Overall...a must stop in a city where restaurants are hit or miss....great burger....cool place.

Loved their burgers. Good value for money...! Order the burgers how you want them....or pick "presets" from their menu. They also offer breakfast dishes but I did not try them. Place is clean, efficient and liked the typical 50s environment (but with modern twist). Nice staff and excellent service.

Low key place with fast, cheerful service. Location near MOMA is helpful. Clean. Easy to miss because it is not conspicuous. Locals eat here. (I was a tourist)

Great food at decent prices. The burgers were huge, the fries were cooked...it was excellent. I would go back again in a heartbeat!! Both of us did not have one prblem at all with our menu or the surroundings. The place was clean and the service was attentive without being annoying.

We visited this restaurant/diner for breakfast and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. The decor was fresh and the food was okay. The service was a little slow and part of our order was forgotten but our waiter was friendly enough and put the correction right was informed. The food was okay a little expensive for what was delivered but I'm not turning my nose up at this eatery and next time we visit New York I would happily visit again.

We came here for breakfast and we both enjoyed the food. I had the pancakes with butter and syrup. Ofcourse the portion was huge and I couldnt finish it but it was delicious. My husband had the eggs, bacon, fries and toast and found them delicious. Definitely keeps you going throughout the day!!

First off I don't know the exact address of the Burger Heaven that we ate at but I am certain it wasn't on Madison Ave...I'm pretty sure it was on 49th, near 5th ave...right beside American Girl Place. We ate breakfast & then headed to American Girl right next door. We went into Buger Heaven for breakfast because it was so close to AG Place and we had a personal shopping appointment there within the hour. We were a party of 7 & there was no issue seating us upstairs. The place while a little worn was very clean & the service could not have been friendlier! Our food didn't come lightning fast but there was 7 of us and we were out in lots of time for our appointment, we had a really nice visit while we waited. None of us found the wait to be exceptionally long. The food portions were a good size & the quality of the food was very good. My over-easy eggs were slightly overcooked but I'd rather have less yolk than runny egg whites so I was satisfied. I had 1 bite of my perfectly cooked bacon before my daughter stole the rest of it so I can only assume that my picky eater really enjoyed it! The total bill for 7 of us was $58....shockingly low for what I was expecting NYC prices to be!

Came here for a quick dinner. We thought the burgers and fries were very good; desserts less so. Good service. Decor a little stark.

I know its "Burger Heaven" but its breakfast heaven as well! We stopped in (53rd st Location) for a quick breakfast and I am happy to say the we had no issues. For Midtown dining, these are hometown prices. Friendly staff rounded off the experience. Keep this in mind if need a quick bite and remember, it's not just burgers!

I went there for breakfast and would never go back. The omelet was dry, the home fries were dry and unsavory. Staff was below average.

We stopped here because we were looking for a traditional, inexpensive American breakfast, and it was Mother's Day. Many of the hotels and restaurants were serving elaborate brunches that day. Burger Heaven hit the spot. It serves decent bacon and eggs, and French Toast made with challah bread. Not fancy, but just fine.

After ordering the burger was at the table in an instant. Which isn't a bad thing when hungry. Had the house special, bun and sauce were good. But overall not an exceptional mail Be aware when ordering that a lot of the burgers on the menu are just the burger and bun, to add lettuce, tomato and fries you have to pay extra. Paying extra for fries isn't out of the ordinary, but paying extra for some lettuce and tomato on your bun is ridiculous.

I decided to write a review because we enjoyed coming for breakfast at burger heaven so much. This has just been tempered by reading the previous review about being overcharged by about 10 dollars. This also happened to us and was just changed in a cursory fashion. If this doesn't put you off then this is a great little diner for a proper American breakfast - the pancakes were fantastic, as was the classic roll, spinach and feta omelette and coffee. Sad to hear other overcharging stories but I guess I'd still go back as it was the best place for breakfast in the area

I ordered the classic cheeseburger with fries and coleslaw, and my wife had the Greek salad. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the fries and coleslaw met expectations. My wife really enjoyed the Greek salad, and it was a nice large portion for a lunch salad. We were in and out in about 20 mins at lunch. Burger Heaven is a great choice if you are in the mood for a burger, or if you are looking for a quick meal on the go.

After looking at menu's of other restaurants close by and getting sticker shock by the prices we landed at Burger Heaven. Prices were decent, food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. They kept making origami birds and flowers and giving them to us. Food arrived quickly after ordering. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel I stayed in didn't have a sit down place for breakfast (The Palace Lotte) so we were directed here. Looks sort of diner-ish, with seats at a bar as well as booths. This place delivers for what we were looking for: inexpensive, sit-down, decent food. I'd probably consider going there again next time I stay at this hotel.

when i was a New York , I went to breakfast for heaven burger with my family. the taste was fine . speed of service was a little slow. staff was friendly. can be made as a result of classic American breakfast. You can go once.

We were looking for a quick and reasonable priced place for lunch, one of the guys from our hotel at the New York Palace suggested it. The service was decent and the food was good (burger and chicken sandwich).

OMG! The Swiss mushroom! One of my favorite places in the world, they haven't changed a thing

Not worth it for the price. The food is good but not nearly $20 a person good. Would have been better to take out party of 8 to McDonald's. Just disappointed as this place seems to have been around awhile.

Unfortunately name of the place is far away from reality. Burger meat was overcook and should be medium. The biggest joke was that burger was only meat and a bun and I’ve been charged extra for a slice of tomato and lettuce!!! Needless to say no chips included!!!mediumsmediummedium.AThebiggest joke is

If you're looking for a good fast food joint in NYC, Burger Heaven is a good choice. I've been to the one near MOMA just not too long ago. The sweet potato fries are always along side my burger.

This place reminds me of a quick cook counter at a department store- when most department stores had food counters. Straightforward food- simple yet pleasing

I walked past here on my way to the doll store with my granddaughters, and I immediately planned to go here for lunch the next day. At a place called burger heaven you would expect to find artisan type burgers that are hand formed and juicy. The burgers seemed like they may have been formed there by a mold then frozen. Burger was just average cooked as asked. I would go again if I happen by there, would not make a special trip. There is no kid menu, so if you think your child could eat a $10 burger ok. If not bring 2 kids.

Visited NYC on a very cold day. Stumbled upon Burger Heaven. It was warm and very busy. There was 8 of us. They sat us within 10 min at Two separate tables. Kids table and adults table. We were ok with that. Food was very quick and delicious. $160 for all 8 of us. Ordered couple burgers and couple BLTs with curly fries/onion rings and drinks. Service was excellent. Restroom was in the basement. We were seated on the third floor.

Walking past American Girl Place prior to our visit in the morning, I noticed Burger Heaven. We went there for breakfast, and the corned beef hash was so good I talked my family into going again the family morning. The food was excellent, the service was good and the prices were very reasonable for breakfast. I only wish I'd had a chance to try a burger - with a name like that....

Yummy burgers, good sizes and refillable drinks, just how I like it.....Classic style dinners with excellent service. I have been a few times to the one near the trump building and always found the same thing.

For a quick meal, try Burger Heaven. They serve a pretty big burger cooked to your liking and they are very fast. They have 3 locations in New York city, the one I visited a couple of times was very near Rockefeller Center. Great for the tourist on the go!

Needed to sit outside because my little dog was with me. Got a patty melt, came with fries and cole slaw. It was good. Portions were more than enough. Outside area is on the sidewalk but under a canopy. Place was pretty full for 1:00 pm. Service was good from a waiter who was not to engaging, just did his job!

This was suggested by staff at the Regency Hotel and we were thrilled to find it. We had breakfast twice and lunch once here and all meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was uniformly friendly and attentive. I will definitely go back.

Great food and great service. A "must do" place to dine.

We were in NYC in February. After a long flight the previous day and being new in the city we were very hungry. We came across this place on the way to top of the rock about 7am. First impressions were a good one. Very spacey and gave us the impression of an all American modern diner. Were chose to sit as the back as there were three of us. There was plenty of seating to choose from so that wasn't an issue. This place looks like a regular haunt for New Yorkers. The staff are super friendly and they loved our British accents which we felt was a nice personal touch. Food was fast to arrive after ordering and was piping hot. The pancakes were amazing and were the typical American breakfast. The coffee wasn't that great but I guess being from England we are used to the instant stuff. We had a pleasant experience in this place and would recommend. Thank you burger heaven!

Staying at the Waldorf a short walk away, our normal breakfast location had been turned into a steak restaurant, which was a great shame. Stumbled onto this place which looked clean and inviting. Sat at very clean tables and excellent menu choice. Ate here several times for breakfast, some mornings the service was a little slow, I think there was a young man just training because he was pretty useless, but apologetic. All in all the food was good every time, reasonable cost for two people, between $15 to $20 with coffee, juice. And a hot breakfast Highly recommend if you don’t want to eat in a stuffy hotel. Located 9 East 53rd Street , New York, NY 10022 (btwn 5th Ave and Madison Ave) Didnt realise until afterwards that it was featured on American Aprrentice season 9, when the celeb stars had to work there

Fresh ground beef burger mid rare served with homemade slaw, fries and a delicious dill! Sat at the bar, service was prompt and friendly. Great burger!

nothing else too say....still good food !!!! after 12 years the only thing that has changed was the looks of the restaurant !!! kids loved it as well ! waiters always nice there are different locations in NYC so look out for them........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

We breafasted there a few times. Service was good most of the time - only once did we have problems with a service person. Food comes out fast and there's plenty of it. Keeps you going most of the day

Had Breakfast at Lexington Burger heaven with my family of 6 from Australia and Loved it! Great service by our friendly waiter "Bobby" and excellent food! We ordered an omelette and pancakes and were perfectly cooked, and tasted incredible! Clean, fresh tasty and very fast service! Bobby even went out of his way to help us feel welcome! Thankyou!!

We decided to go there for a good burger with 2 colleagues. Since the place is called Burger Heaven, we thought it would be the best burgers in town. Well let's just say they are good, but very far from Heaven... You want average burgers, go to Burger Heaven. If you want great burgers that stands out, this is not the place...

We stumbled across this place & thought it'd be great for dinner. Usual burger offerings of course all big portions & reasonably priced what's not to recommend right! We ate around 7pm & one of our party couldn't have his first choice, but hey we managed. I'd say go & check it out!

Went there because we were starving, and around 5th ave most of the restaurants are tourist traps anyway. We thought we'd get a decent burger, and trust me, the expectations were pretty damn low. These burgers are absolutely useless, no taste, boring, the meat tastes like a sponge. Avoid at all costs, McDonalds is burger heaven compared to this.

The food was ordinary good and kind of pricy. Nothing special with the burger. Service with no personality.

Well this is the place to go for your typical NY burger it's a cool place where you do have a fantastic choice of burgess served with those awesome French fries. Try the room on the first floor where you have more room place.

We have been to two different burger heavens in nyc... they both were awesome. We tried shake shack because it had a lot of good reviews...and it's decent..but crowded and no place to sit and not as good...the burgers are the best I have ever had.. the bun..beef...carmelized onions and special sauce make them to die for.. try them out

I used to come here quite a bit when I lived in NY. It was an off brand place with great food. It was creative and seemed like it would take off as a chain like Shake Shack. Somehow that didn't realize and this is the only store that I can find now. Nonetheless the spot still offers great hamburgers and American fare. All in Midtown East.

My husband and I went here on a Sunday afternoon for a quick lunch. It's not fancy, but works for a quick lunch or dinner. My husband enjoyed his burger and I had a salad that was very good. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely go back next time we are in NYC.

It's True, in my EXPERIENCE and My Family too, to go to Heaven Is a party. Niceeee Veggie burguers with french fries very complete and a Lot of much More options. Maybe $$$$ but Who cares..

food is fine for a quick lunch. Everyone likes the burgers (big surprise). A step above a deli restaurant.

We had breakfast here 2 mornings in a row when staying at the Loews Regency hotel. Nice diner atmosphere, and very good servers - they were friendly and attentative both days. We had pancakes and french toast one day, and the 2 egg plate with home fries the next day. The food arrived quickly and was fresh and tasty, and well priced. It a thumbs up from us!

Great burgers, fries, and shakes! They know what they are doing here!!! We sat at the counter and enjoyed all the tastes and smells as well as watching all the food come out of the kitchen.

Chose to eat a casual hamburger dinner at "Burger Heaven", based on reasonable tripadvisor reports. Turns out its a small burger-diner. Burgers were mediocre at best (one of my kids, who is usually not too picky, decided not to eat his). On the other hand, chili and asian chicken salad were actually tasty. Service was so-so. All in all - lots of better places to eat in NYC for the same (inexpensive) price.

I had a late breakfast in the Lexington Ave. location and was totally disappointed the first time: Meat quality was - like always good - but grilled well done (I've ordered medium). The fries have been deep-fried at least once too often; they have been dark brown and simply bad! The service was very unfriendly, spiritless and unprofessional. They can do by far better!

Clean restaurant, great, friendly service, food was good, we had omelets, toast and coffee, and I was satisfied all morning as I toured NYC.

the burger was very good but overpriced (see my meatball shop review for an example of how it should be done around this price point). the fries and onion rings we were served were tough, chewy and inedible ( they reminded me of Chinese style deep fried food that had been left under a heat lamp for a long period) both were sent back. the slaw was also inedible.. good coleslaw is easy to make to order: shredded cabbage.. a bit of mayo..a touch of salt. a squeeze of lemon and a touch of sweetener. maybe a few caraway seeds?... to show us you care? Nope. Bad ,,bland..and useless. order the overpriced burger alone if you decide this is your kind of place. I won't return .

We had a meal here one Friday evening before going up the Rockefeller centre. It was ok but we've had a lot better. The service was excellent and the restaurants was nice and clean, and the food came very quickly, but not really our cup of tea!!

Throughout our stay at New York we had this for our evening meal three times out of four nights!! The food was delicious and we loved the chicken fingers. We made a mistake on the first night (because we didn't know what to expect as we are from the UK) of having a meal each. We shouldn't of because most of it got wasted, so the following days after that we shared our portions of chicken fingers and fries as they was huge! The staff are great, there was a guy with glasses (which I can't remember his name) with dark hair and pale skinned he was amazing with his service. He made us enjoy it a whole lot more and that's possibly one of the reasons we loved it, they didn't force you to tip either. They rejected our tip at first, but the last day we finally got them to take our tip as they deserved it. Lovely people, lovely atmosphere, thankyou burger heaven staff for making us love our holiday even more!!

The food at Burger Heaven is always delicious (I recommend the cheeseburger, though a cheese dog is always a great option) but the service depends on the day. Sometimes super attentive, other times it's difficult to get water. The curly fries and sweet potato fries are the best side dishes!

Large burgers with really lean high quality beef. Good buns. Good choice of cheeses. Bustling, easy for families. Fries are good; sweet potato fries fair. Skip the onion rings (too sweet).

Happen to find it on a stroll from the hotel. The burgers were awesome, the fries were good and the service was excellent. Typical dinner nothing fancy, just a good burger, fries and shake. Will return.

This diner style restaurant was on the same street as our hotel so we decided to give it a chance for Saturday morning brunch. The food was pretty good! The service was decent and the place could use some sprucing up, but it was clean. A nice out-of-the-way place to grab a quick, relatively inexpensive meal.

Went here for a lunch after intense shopping at the American Girl Doll store just down the street. Wonderful burgers! Almost perfect french fries (needed vinegar but thats not an american thing). Would go there again!

Ended up at a Burger Heaven while out sightseeing with family. It met the requirement of having choices for the teens and reasonable prices for New York. The Greek salad was a very pleasant surprise with grape leaf dolmas. The tomato on the hamburger actually tasted like a summer vine ripened tomato. High quality ingredients at what at first just seemed like a diner/franchise place. Good place for lunch!

Had a meal here mid afternoon, attracted in by the good looks of the restaurant. Inside, the decor was typical "dinerish", booths and red seating. Great atmosphere as the place was full. The food itself was great, large well-cooked burgers with loads of trimmings, excellent chicken sandwiches with different sauces and free refills on all the drinks. Staff were friendly and attentive. The cost was very reasonable and well worth a tip. A couple of days later we had another meal on the Lexington Ave. branch and while the atmosphere was more local, the same value and quality was maintained. A true New York experience.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Took 10 minutes for anyone to give us a menu; another 10 minutes to get water; another 10 minutes to get our drinks; 10 more minutes for the food (and not everything ordered came with our meal). The last item on our order was brought after we finished (mozzarella sticks). The waiter said they would be free since it was late. Funny! We got the bill, and the mozzarella sticks were marked out, but not subtracted from the bill. Didn't leave much of a tip! Food was okay.

It's sad they are closing. I live in Florida now but have great memories of eating at Burger Heaven.I ate there quite often and was never disappointed. Those burgers were made just right. Eating a burger at a nearby burger place here in Clearwater made me realize just how good Burger Heaven was.. Dare I say their burgers were truly heavenly, so much so that when I ate at this well known establishment, I wished their burgers were as good as theirs were...

I am really surprised with all these good reviews. I was in one Burger Heaven on 7 E 53rd Street which was anything else but Heaven. I asked for cheeseburger and the waiter said it is the best in Manhattan. The bread was not fresh, the meat was not seasoned and the cheese could be any other cheese but not Swiss which i asked. Don't waste your time and money, I am sure you can find nice places nearby.

Brilliant diner selling traditional New York burgers. Mountains of excellently cooked (and presented) food, quickly served by the most pleasant waiting team for less than the price of a London coffee.

Cheerful and quick service, good value food for the money. For fast lunch, this restaurant more than delivers, and with a smile.

This is a 5 star burger joint/diner. The burger and fries are awesome. Don't over think this place, it's called burger heaven for a reason! The onion rings were mediocre and cooked in a funnel cake type of batter. The sweet potato fries were decent too. But the Burger Heaven burger (sauce on the side) was the best burger I've ever had. I'm not a big fan of sauces, so I can't comment on the sauce. Super fast service. In and out in 45min and they were in a 10min wait.

In a huge city like NYC, tough to find a small, personable place, but Burger Heaven is it. Stumbled upon Burger Heaven about 6-7 years ago and make it a point to go there each time I visit. Food is reasonably priced and very good. Same staff has been there for years and same customers, too.

after a day of walking, sight seeing and museums this was heaven for me. The burgers are excellent, there's one very close to the MOMA museum..

We ate at the Burger Heaven twice while visiting NYC with our kids, aged 2 and 5. This place is child friendly with a place to store strollers and highchairs are available. Most of the seating is available only on the second floor. The decor is retro (1970s). The service is fast and the food comes quickly after ordering. The food, including the hamburgers is fairly greasy. The onion rings taste battered as oppose to crispy. Expect to pay $15 per person for a drink and entree. Not expensive for NYC. Good if you are hungry and in a rush, but not a healthy restaurant.

We stopped in here for dinner one night as we were walking around. I had a cheeseburger, my husband had a sandwich (can't remember which) and my girls had BLTs. The food literally came out in 5 minutes. Service was great, friendly staff...I ordered dessert and they gave me extra whipped cream on my apple pie a la mode =). Would definitely go back!

Just good Diner style food that won't break your budget. Friendly staff .. We had breakfast and it was really good.

The burgers we had were very and tasty good but the slaw was dried up and looked horrible so we didn't touch it. The waitress was abrupt and not welcoming and the whole place could do with a really good clean. Overall it was okay but probably wouldn't return in a hurry and there are better places to get a burger nearby.

Of course, we had to try a couple of different burgers here, including the namesake item on the menu. The special sauce is pretty close to other burger joint's special sauces but these burgers hardly need anything on them. The fries are fresh as well. In fact, we learned from our waiter that they recently changed the menu and removed all frozen items. The burgers and fries are made fresh each day. Even the Hebrew National hotdog was done well, although it was even better after putting some of their cole slaw on top. The burgers were delicious, and a great value, and the service was attentive but not smothering.

Stopped here for late afternoon lunch while wandering the city. Just ran across it and thought we'd give it a go. The 4 of us sat at the counter and the service there was good. I had a burger and found it to be thick, moist and tasty. The price was on average with what you'd expect in NYC. Fairly quick, simple food but with an atmosphere that was so much better than a "fast food" burger joint. Over all, it was just what we needed that afternoon.

You can't hide that burger heaven is a little rough around the edges, and could easily be missed if you didn't know where or what it was! However inside, it is very clean....which for myself is very important. There is a great atmosphere of an American diner (which is fun especially for those of us who are not from the states!) and most importantly it does fantastic, fantastic food and it is super cheap! If you are passing defiantly give it a go....enjoy!

Burger "Heaven"... not even close. I ordered the Classic Burger -medium $8. Got a greasy, dry, well-done patty on a bun. Served with red onions on the side and a gel sauce of some sort and those plastic packets of mayo and a half pickle. No lettuce, no tomatoes which I thought was odd. Fries, etc were side dishes you could order for $5 more ...got the sweet potato fries - obviously frozen, not fresh cut, and no flavor whatsoever. Do not eat here. Trust me.

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place whilst mooching around New York, well what can I say its got that Classic America burger joint feel and the burgers are amazing very filling and the prices aren't to bad either well worth a visit

We went here for breakfast twice during our visit. Unlike other places it felt like the food was cooked fresh and not just heated up. Also the diner feel was lovely and something we hadn't come across in NY yet. The food was good and plentiful. On byh occasions the restaurant was busy. Staff were a bit rude on our first occasion but the second time there was a different set. Worth a visit if you are in the area as there isn't many other places.

I have ordered from this place numerous times. Salads are VERY expensive and are completely terrible. Dressings are limited and also terrible. Burgers are awful.. food is completely SUB PAR do not waste your money!!

This was our first stop in NYC, we were starving after a long trip. The place itelf was decorated in a cool modern way with a long bar to sit at, or individul tables. A pleasant place to be. We ordered a chilli burger and a bacon cheeseburger, they were ready in less than 5 minutes and tasted great. The prices were reasonable and the staff were nice. A great place for a quick meal, I would go again.

Burger Heaven on 53rd Street near Madison. Lightning fast service. Was expecting a fast food experience and was pleasantly surprised to see table service. They move guests in and out quickly with nice service. Good cheeseburger with fries and slaw for $10. With soda and tip was $18. Not too bad.

After strolling around Central Park and doing a spot of shopping, me and my friend decided we fancied a burger and wow were we happy we decided to visit Burger Heaven. What an apt name for the establishment as the burgers were indeed heaven. We each had a cheeseburger and shared mozzarella sticks and curly fries. All the food was delicious with the burger in fact ranking in my burgers ever! The staff were helpful and welcoming despite being extremely busy due to the lunch time rush. All in all we are delighted that we came across Burger Heaven whilst on holiday in NYC. I know if I lived in NYC I would eat at Burger Heaven all the time and will return if I'm visiting the city again!!!
Not the best.
The food on our visit was above average with the burgers reasonable and the fries ok and the prices reasonable for the location. What really disappointed us was the standard of service with the waiters fairly rude and abrupt. During our visit the service was slow and we had to ask for our order to be taken and the right cutlery to be handed out. There are definitely better burger outlets in the city and we will not be coming back.
