Convenient location with simple menu to meet people during the day or early evening. There are more interesting restaurants in the area for a serious dinner.

Busy place Monday to Friday with New Yorkers and tourists, quieter at the weekend. Breakfast cooked to order; eggs, pancakes and bagels. We tried the pasta for dinner, it was great and cooked to order with fresh ingredients. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

I’d had a previous breakfast of scrambled eggs, small coffee and danIsh. All ok for the price of $US8 Back the next day. Told there’s no small coffees, so had the medium. I’d had a small the night before. Scrambled eggs. Cinnamon bun. Bill came to $US18. When I queried this I was told that the eggs were $US8.95. yet I’d been charged $US3.90 the morning before. $US1.90 for coffee the day before. Oh it’s a different menu today. I think the girl was just putting anything in that suited her as she’d made an error two people before me. Nevertheless the eggs are dry and flattened on both occasions. The cinnamon bun stale, coffee not the best, but for the original price I couldn’t expect much more and was convenient to hotel.

The store is spacious and modern and a hive of activity in the morning. I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich and coffee but didn't appreciate being scolded by the cashier for not ordering on the right side. As this was my first visit I wasn't familiar with the routine. The gentlemen behind the counter who actually prepared the meal, saw what happened and made light of it, and so the overall experience was very good.

Had a very enjoyable and well priced breakfast there. The quality of the cooked food was good for the price and coffee was very good.

Food is not that great and they recently increased their prices and changed their breakfast fare. Hate the new muffins and other items they now offer as they are not as tasty as the previous items. I believe charging $2.72 for a bagel with a little butter and two slices of cheese is stretching it a bit when it is a dollar less around the corner.

High end fast food. Terrific selection of bakery goods, customizable salads, sandwiches, soups & pizzas. This restaurant is only a block off TImes Square at the corner of 46th & 6th Ave. We ate at this place almost every day for lunch. We were miraculously always able to get a table, dispite the crowds. Not a bad atmosphere for such reasonable prices. High Quality food.

Very good choice - hot and cold food. Hot food such as omelettes cooked to order while you wait. Good quality and very good value for money. The seating area is small but never had problem getting a seat. Great if you're on a budget but a good choice even if you're not. Worth walking a few blocks from your hotel rather than paying over the odds for breakfast in a hotel.

We had breakfast here every morning for 4 days and were never disappointed. The food was good, cooked fresh while you waited, the coffee was great and the price was really good. It was just down from our hotel and we loved it.

Located on the corner of 46th St. and 6th Avenue. I've been coming here for years - never go anywhere else for breakfast when in New York. Coffee (good) and a bagel with cream cheese - less than $5.00. They cook to order omelettes and breakfast baps. Huge range of sandwiches and cakes for other times of the day. Great value. Good quality. There's a seating area; limited space but have never had difficulty sitting down to eat.

I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese bagel and my wife ordered a plain bagel with vegetable cream cheese. Both of these items were excellent (4 stars). We both ordered coffee and they were average tasting at best (2 stars). Pass on the coffee as there are a lot better options in proximity to this location.

As British visitors we were room Only so we are in these most days for breakfast They make you omelettes wraps sandwiches Also lunch salads are great A lovely cup Of tea too and friendly staff which is always a bonus

Arrived at hotel tired and hungry, this was recommended by reception staff as somewhere for a quick meal - rated 5 for hygiene etc Excellent choice of hot & cold sandwiches, cakes and pasta/rice dishes. As pasta & rice are precooked then added to fresh ingredients and premade sauce of your choice food is ready very quickly. Eat in or take away available.

Nice , clean , good quality at fair prices and very very good COFFEE which is not always the case in NYC. Worth avisit for snacks and a great long array of sandwiches and foods.

While on vacation we ate out for every meal it was a blessing finding this place. The food is good and healthier than many other choices. They have vegetarian options which is great for me. They also have a choose your own salad bar but they make it. Which I loved! The two downfalls are 1) not all the servers were friendly 2) the bathroom was not clean and gross! If you are looking for something healthier it's a good choice.

Love this tiny little NYC bakery! You can't go wrong here! Hot chocolate is a bit expensive. Stick to coffe. Chocolate croissant is off the chain delicious.

Found this on our second day in New York whilst staying at the Cambria Hotel just down the street. Great Breakfasts to eat either on the go or sit in, anything from croissants and granola with yoghurt to pancakes and cooked breakfast. Also do amazing sandwiches and freshly made salads and hot pasta or rice with your own choice of ingredients cooked whilst you wait. Would definitely recommend this. It is part of a chain and there are others dotted aroung New York too.

My husband and I spent the week before Christmas in NYC. We knew that food in the city was expensive so we were pleasantly surprised to find a place where the employees were friendly, the food good, and the prices such that we didn't have to pawn our wedding rings in order to eat. Europa Cafe on 46th and 6th was just that place. When we walked in, Louis greeted us with a smile and a good morning. By the third time we were there, Louis already knew what we would most likely order and how we would want it cooked. We made the mistake of eating at two other places and were treated to surly, nasty attitudes and equally nasty food at higher prices. Europa Cafe was within walking distance of our hotel. A breakfast of 2 eggs, bacon, home fries, toast, and coffee was about $9.00. It was served with a smile and started our day off right. We also purchased late lunch and dessert at the cafe. We were never treated rudely... something we found in abundance in the city. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. Should I find my way back to NYC, I will be eating at Europa Cafe on 46th and 6th. I can only hope that Louis is still there! He was a wonderful ambassador of both the restaurant and the city.

All the recipes are as delicious as original. Really a great experience. I came be myself but I would also recommend coming with your family. Hope this review Helped

Europa Cafe has a very fresh assortment of food and beverages if you want a quick snack or meal. My husband and I shared smoked turkey with cheese. Lettuce and tomato on a baguette. The counterman heated it in the oven until the cheese started to melt. The baguette and lettuce were both crisp, not soggy and the smoked turkey and cheese were very flavorful. They have salads, soups, wraps, desserts and much more. Not your usual fare but more creative.

the breakfast here was absolutely excellent! pancakes were lush and so was the porridge, plus the orange juice is freshly squeezed! this is a restaurant you must visit for breakfast!!

Salads, soups, pastas, and sandwiches. While not "cheap", certainly reasonable for the city. A little confusing as you walk in, so know you need to go to the "station" where the kind of food you want is.

Excellent Cafe for breakfast or lunch, quality produce at reasonable cost. Personally recommend the omelettes and soups, fruit is lovely but the plastic containers a little tricky to open !

Stay away for dessert. We had three dry inedible cupcakes which we through in the garbage and a soggy water logged Chocolate torte, and a M&M brownie (yuck) which our son could not eat and he will eat any treat at all.

The food was amazing and freshly cooked! Service was good and the prices were cheaper than other cafes we had been to , 100% recommend

If you are staying at the time square it is good choice for breakfast. the coffee is rather good, the bagels are fine, the sandwiches are fresh. Try it.

I went here with on a recent trip and loved the menu. it had breakfast sandwiches/omelettes all made to order quickly. Their paninis were so fresh and very good. Very clean, nice staff and overall great experience.

Inexpensive, by NY standards. Had a nice mixed green salad with 3 adds. Service was fast and friendly. They also have pasta and sandwich counters, which I didn't try, but looked good.
Reliable Chain Cafe
We found these all over the City and they have a predictable and reliable selection of grab'n go - or sit down - self serve items. Morning egg wrap one of the healthiest items we found. Clean, bright and popular, a less expensive alternative for quick eating.
