Good food and drinks

By Buketlist |

The food was good not to be disappointed. Typical expensive hotel food but I am use to it. Nonetheless good bar and grill food. Nice atmosphere.

Exceptional

By Daniel H |

I 've been eating in all restaurant in Miami to find out that this restaurant located in Marriott Hotel MIA airport, one of the best. The steak is incredible, the local draft beer also. Service outstanding.

Great Food

By MdBeachBum |

We had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed the food. It is located in the hotel lobby so it is easy to people watch while you are having lunch.

Okay

By AnGr2013 |

We had dinner here. Long wait, mediocre salads and kids food. The Cesars with Steak had very little steak. Rather small portions. Nice service though.

Good restaurant in the hotel

By drishi |

While staying here at the Marriott Airport hotel we ate here twice. Had the smoked brisket sandwich, chicken quesadilla one night and the chicken wings and calamari another night. Food was very acceptable. Better than the restaurant in the other hotel. Our server Noel was excellent. Not a bad choice if you are staying here and do not want to go elsewhere.

Great burger and service

By Dalton P |

Ira was fantastic. We had a pleasant visit while eating a great burger at the bar. Keep him around and make sure he’s interacting with as many customers as possible. It will benefit you.

A bit pricy

By K L |

Only had dinner here once. Nice ambience, and nothing to complain about. But for the price, you can get much better value if you have a car and willing to drive 10 mins to Miracle Mile.

Great Hotel Food

By YourTravelingMan61 |

Cane Fire Grille is located within the Miami Airport Marriott and has a very relaxing dining atmosphere. I staying at the Marriott overnight so for my dinner I chose the Cane Fire Burger was quite delicious and tasty. For Breakfast I had French Toast Brioche which was absolutely wonderful. The menu prices wasn't to badly priced for hotel food. All in all the Cane Fire Grille is a sure fire hit with me.

Staff appreciation - indeed !

By Jeffrey |

Staying here pre cruise and must admit …… The entire dining staff rocks and Jorge is a gem. Also, had an opportunity to talk with manager who is awesome and appreciates his phenomenal staff. Win - Win . Oh yeah good terrific too

Great sandwiches!

By Nancy F |

We both had delicious sandwiches here as our first meal in Miami and it was one of my favorite places the whole trip.

BENEDICT EGGS AT IT'S BEST!!!

By FAM1955 |

I Always go eat here. People has been around and they know how to take care of you. I like Benedict eggs and they can do them as you wish....

Agent visit

By jrobertson46 |

Arrived late evening tired and hungry. Rather than call a cab we chose to try what the hotel had to offer on-site. To our delight we found a delicious fare, quickly served, and modestly priced. I ate locally caught Mahi Mahi over rice with fresh peas. My guest tried a chicken dish that was excellent. Service was prompt and efficient. A full bar is available and the TV s were on as it was game night. Great experience!

Very Good Restaurant/Bar in Courtyard by Marriott Miami Airport South

By Barney B |

This is the in-house restaurant inside the Courtyard...I was very impressed with the layout and there were plenty of tables...I was able to find a hightop table with a bench seat where I could read my newspaper and eat comfortably...the service was excellent...the food was quite good and the waiter was both attentive and responsive...I would recommend this restaurant for a quick meal...and you cant watch several different televisions for sports action

Little more than good fast hotel bar food

By @KGY20 |

Efficient bar staff and servers, but this is not a restaurant destination, just good fast bar food. Dining area clinical, not romantic or atmospheric, nor is it a peaople watchin place, unless you like keeping an eye on who is coming and going to check-in/out the hotel. OK for a guys or girls wanting to sit at the bar watching sport.

Nice hotel restaurant if you don't want to cab somewhere else.

By Amy W |

Very very nice staff and the food is very good. Portions are on the small side for appetizers but very normal for entrees.

Surprise!

By CeeJay |

We were shocked at our dining experience here. Testing out restaurants we've liked we have trouble duplicating good experiences. We just had a horrendous experience at a restaurant we loved! Not so here. Something is going very right at the Cane Grill. Noel, our wonderful server who exudes kindness and wellness - and reminds my partner of professional waiters in Europe - and whoever was cooking for three nights in a row served us superb meals. The first was a wonderful grilled snapper which merged perfectly with the Jasmine rice and green beans. I've rarely had a fish dish so good. The very smooth Campari - a bourbon drink - and some creamy but thankfully not overwhelming key lime pie topped off an excellent for me. My partner's jerked chicken and rice had all sorts of nice additions as well. We both delighted in the subtle, intermixture of flavors the cook provided.

Noel = a server who knows his stuff

By Chump C |

The food was excellent. Noel (server) and Mark (manager) made it all worth while. I do wish the wine list had more depth, rather than the usual stuff that I can get at any liquor store or even CostCo for 1/3 the price.

Convenient place to eat

By Kristi B |

I ate at this place for three nights while staying at the Marriott. The food was decent and the staff was friendly. I wouldn't go to this place if I wasn't staying at the hotel, but it was a good choice while staying there.

Pleasant service but just OK food

By CleopatraBunny |

Convenient if you don't want to leave the Marriott. Burger was good but had to send my wrap sandwich back and order something else. Dip duo appetizer came with plaintain chips and good mango salsa. A bit expensive but that's expected when dining in the hotel restaurant.

Great Onion Rings!

By ZayM |

Stopped in after a late travel day and flight. Good service and food. Loved the onion rings. Reasonable prices.

Great breakfast buffet!

By traveltime92 |

I can only share with you our breakfast experience. The buffet had a nice variety of items. The chef on duty will make your omelet just the way you like it Also, waffles if you ask. The sausage is wonderful and you can add potatoes, bacon or almost anything you would want to your plate. Great way to start your day!

On the road back

By Mark I |

Have been staying at this Marriott Courtside for many years and have eaten here before. There have been many iterations of this restaurant, it has gone from very good to mediocre to very good again. Menu is large. Had the chicken fingers and fries. The fries were perfect…crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside from first to last bite. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked good. This restaurant kitchen is better than the main Marriott. Only drawback was the waitstaff not as attentive as it should be.

Good for a busy airport hotel

By Marquimarc |

The day boat scallops with mushroom risotto were good. It was three large scallops each on a bed of risotto with a bit of mushroom. The scallops were seared sweet and flavorful. A side salad or some vegetable was needed to round this out and the half sigbature cane fire salad was expensive at $8. The salad was ok, but a bit heavy on the oil for my taste. The service was surprisingly good and fast. The young manager smiled and was friendly and the server was professional, prompt and provided useful information. He seemed genuinely friendly. It is a bit expensive but that was expected. I left happy.

REALLY variable service

By Doug S |

I stayed at the Marriott where this restaurant in located for three days. On the first evening I had dinner across the street and stopped in here for a few cocktails. The bartenders Ira and Rosie were awesome, and the drinks were great albeit expensive ($13) and service was impeccable. Based on this experience I thought to have dinner the next evening. Rosie was still at the bar, but Ira unfortunately was not, and I got stuck at the other end of the bar. The gentleman that waited on me gave me less than a single shot for my drink, and I finally got a menu from him five minutes later. 15 minutes further on, I hadn't been asked about my selection, nor had I been able to ask for a glass of water to accompany the drink that should have been accompanied by one anyway. At this stage, I asked for the check, and got a bunch of static from the bartender whose name I'll withhold. Other patrons were echoing my sentiments, and they generally were having a bad night. The Bar/restaurant was about 50% full on a Thursday evening about 8PM, so I can't imagine it was a staffing issue but you never know. In short, the place can be good, but you're better off heading across the street for fish, or next door for Cuban.

Good choice for dinner.

By remarcm |

Ate here while staying at the Courtyard next door. Menu was actually reasonable priced and food was good. Could use a few more choices. Will certainly eat her again when in the area

Great restraunt and staff, but only open part time

By Jim |

I live my life on the road - 200+ days/year. I rarely eat in the hotel, and this hotel has several good options in walking distance. Tonight I stayed at a different hotel, but actually walked to here to eat. Rosie behind the bar does an excellent job. She knows the food, the drinks, and local knowledge. She is always friendly and professional. Other staff are also great. The only problem with this restraint is that it is only part time now because they opened some other "kitchen" thing in the lobby, which does not compare. No good for lunch, but still great for dinner. Horrible way for the hotel to treat great employees offering great food and service.

Convenient Hotel Location, Great drinks

By Christina R |

Stayed at the hotel and ate here for a late dinner. Service was great and the lady who helped us was on top of everything! Had the brisket, while others had the Cane Fire burger and the turkey sandwich. Everything was delicious. Drink were also strong and they had a nice selection of beers on tap.

acceptable food

By Nothomemuch |

It was too late for me to go out and I ate at the hotel. Limited menu. I had a pasta dish that was OK

Skip the buffet breadfast

By RetiredCPA2003 |

Nice restaurant. Delicious dinner. Overpriced breakfast with less that average selection of food for breakfast. Cheaper to order a couple of items from menu.

Late Evening Snack

By 2marcopolos |

Stopped in for late evening snack and cocktail. We had a couple of appetizers and cocktails, which were fine. Our server was very friendly and attentive. It worked for us, not overly amazing but food was good and reasonable.

Great breakfast buffett

By bfg1943 |

We had an very good breakfast buffet at the Cane Fire Grill. Food quality was definitively above average with several interesting twists on your standard buffet, e.g. Cane Fire omelet. The service was standard, Marriott attentive. The space is minimalist modern and very clean. Pricing is typical of Marriott properties.

A limited option restaurant

By williammN5289JF |

This restaurant is part of the Marriottt Airport hotel. I had a couple of meals there, both of which were fully satisfactory as to quality and service. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The menu is as short as I've ever seen in a full service hotel and I'd didn't change from day to day. If you're there for a couple of nights, not bad; longer and you won't need a menus put on the table. You'll already have it memorized.

Just a little bit with before heading out

By Sherema M |

These chicken quesadillas were mouth watering at first glance....even tastier when we ate them. The waiter was so friendly and pleasant. Miguel kept checking on us every second to make sure that we were ok. He made our day. Just his gentle smile and his kindhearted spirit was enough for us to continue through the day. We also had some hot and honey wings...they were delicious as well....

Overpriced and under performing

By Kyle F |

While the charges from the bar / restaurant are consistent with a pricey top end establishment, the food is consistent with maybe a Fridays or some low end chain. A 17$ burger should taste good. A 35$ 12 oz strip steak should be able to be cooked to request. 3 of 3 steaks all over cooked.

Well, It's Convenient and Palatable

By Phrend |

Stay with airport hotel basics: drinks, burgers, sandwiches, salads and you'll be just fine. My tip - grab a hotdog off the kids' menu!

Can be better!!!

By msdet1529 |

Stayed at this Marriott Miami hotel numerous times in the past for convenance to the airport with the headache drive from up north. We went to the lobby restaurant and sat a table for four. Our server Lynn was not on her game. Food was very late, slow pace and the place was not that busy. We received wine glasses that had a very heavy bleach smell. It looked like the dish washer didn't rinse off the cleaning agent long enough. We had the bar manager and the waitress agree to the strong oder. They did correct the issue. There were many small issues during dinner that a waitress should of known and taken care of it while we dined. Not going to get into it because it was too many to list. Overall, it's a nice airport Marriott hotel. We just need a relaxing close to airport, a place to eat and drink and wind down before our vacation to Aruba. We were told that they just started construction in the hotel so beware of dusk, noise and other work related issues. Safe travels!!!

Good food.... Bad prices

By Vinny0014 |

Food was good. Bar prices were horrible. Had the onion dip and burger and it was great. But the 12 dollar jack and coke was ridiculous when they measure out an exact shot and don't pour a little extra. Typical Marriott price.

late night snacks

By Howard H |

great late night menu... love the salads, and wings. staff is always friendly, and food comes quicly.

great breakfast

By jjalmodo |

The breakfast bar is very good and ALL of the servers are very courteous and professional! I highlly recommend the RIBEYE! even though it could use some side veggies instead of being a la carte... and flatbread chorizo pizza- yum.

Delicious Lunch

By lawton1osuedu |

We had just returned from a cruise and were not expecting much. We were impressed with the variety and relatively low cost. We ate a leisurely lunch, waiting for a late afternoon flight home. It was perfect. Good food in a pleasant environment.

Good late night snacks

By frankie31 |

Friendly bar tender, quick service, nice mezze platter for snacking with hummus, olives, pita chips, and great cheese. perfect.

Quick bite after long day of travel

By MsPerfection |

Stopped in for a quick dinner after travel, service was a little slow but food was fine and the bar area seemed busy.

Nothing to write home about

By john2008a |

The menu has few options, and most of them are the typical Hotel restaurant options. Food itself is acceptable but not great or especially tasty. Prices are slightly high, when considering served quality and quantity. If you arrive late in the Hotel or have no transport options this restaurant will fit the bill, otherwise you should look elsewhere.

Very inpersonal

By Bakes419 |

The wait staff was unattentive and if you enjoy having your drink filled before it is bone dry then try somewhere else. The food is dry, underpriced, and lacking flavor. The petite overpriced portions could be saved for an actual overpriced restaurant. 20 dollars for a house salad with a 2oz chicken breast dry as a bucket of sand on top is not my idea of a good meal. I know that the image is that of a swanky restaurant, but maybe try to focus on improving room quality of the hotel and leave the upscale restaurants to an actual restaurant.

Good hotel restauruant

By Stui2012 |

We had appetizers here because the rest of the menu wasn't appealing. Service was good, and the food we did order was good. Not really remarkable otherwise.

Best bartenders

By Sara C |

Ira is very jovial, fun, and makes an enjoyable experience. I went with my family and had a wonderful time

Great Staff and Food!

By Unknown30 |

I'm in love with the bartender working March 11,2014 in the evening. She has the most amazing eyes and smile :-). I love how she laughs and smiles.

Busy lobby restaurant with good service and food

By sometrip |

Convenient to avoid walking or a cab to dinner with a varied menu at reasonable prices. Nice buffet at breakfast and good dinner. Prompt service as well.

Nothing Special

By Oldjack |

This is an old fashioned restaurant in need of refurbishment. The food was OK but nothing special and the service was as expected. It is time to upgrade places like this.

Nice beer selection

By phillysilver |

Friendly little place in a drab hotel. Your typical hotel bar, but with perhaps a bit more interesting selection of local-ish beers and friendly staff.

Excellent Service

By GreenLeaves007 |

Been there many times as it does not close till mid-night. Very convenient for business travelers arriving late night. Very typical quality yet not exotic Marriott menu. Very hospitable and warm serving team led by impressive and excellent restaurant supervisors Michael and Sharon who pays first class attention to diners. Outstanding server Lennet has the ability to connect to fellow diners very well, and consistently serves professionally, with warmth and class.

Decent Service, Greasy Food

By MarySM2890 |

Restaurant is within the Marriott Airport Hotel and it's just okay. I really thought you couldn't mess up a cheese flatbread, but apparently you can. It was very, very greasy, hard to cut and had zero flavor. We had a team dinner here one evening and they have the same menu for lunch or dinner, which kind of sucks. I ordered the appetizer fish tacos and a side salad. It was decent. If you're stuck in the hotel, it's fine, but if you have the choice, go out!

Good Restaurant for Simple Dishes

By Stan B |

I previously said in a review of the Marriott hotel that the restaurant has a limited menu and is not appealing in appearance. We stayed at the Marriott two more times in March and noted the sandwiches were excellent as were the hamburgers. We did not order the larger dinner options - fish, etc. While some have complained about the service, we found it to be very good with a very friendly staff taking our orders and coming back to check how everything was. While some staff no doubt have Cuban accents and might be a bit difficult for us to understand at times, their friendliness made up for that easily. The bill does add up with a few beers but sandwiches and hamburgers served there are easily worth the $12-13 for each. They are open all afternoon with a happy hour in the late afternoon/early evening.

Best fish tacos ever!

By Lori H |

Although I always freeze in this restaurant (and hotel lobby), the staff are awesome, particularly the waitperson whose name means "America" (cannot remember her name). Wonderful person. Thanks. We missed you on the weekend we returned to the Courtyard and disappointed that Cane Fire is not open for lunch on weekend. Really disappointed!

Fast service from very nice staff, really good food - IN A HOTEL?

By B G |

The reviews seemed to be all over the place on speed and quality, but we were pleasantly surprised how quickly the food arrived (less than 8 minutes for 6 meals and drinks). Our waiter (Durbalino) was quiet but friendly and made excellent recommendations without any hesitation. His picks were, indeed, very good. My salad DID have a lot of "rusty" lettuce, but I picked it out and it tasted good.

Good service ok food

By barcaranger |

It's in the Marriott which is in a compound of other Marriott brand hotels courtyard, Fairfield , residence inn etc at the airport. The problem with the Marriott it's in huge need of a refurb. The same thing applies to the restaurant i.e. this place which is extremely tired. As you expect though the service is excellent and the food of decent quality as you expect from Marriott. It's a one night hotel for travelers no where near anywhere apart from the airport.

Above and Beyond

By John H |

While staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott at Miami Airport and this restaurant was recommended by Daniel the desk manager. You have lowered expectations for a hotel restaurant but don't! This is fine dining at its best. We had a perfect Ginger Soy Miso Salmon that was the best salmon i have ever tasted! The staff was super friendly , the bar was generous and exemplary! Top notch and highly recommended!

Lunch time, ample selection, wonderful service, good taste

By alvin_71_08 |

Lunch on the "Marriot" grounds was limited to only this restaurant. Sufficient choice to eat on an budget, portions maybe on the heavy side for lunch but the taste was excellent as well for the service. will not go wrong for this choice

Not Great

By Dunhams |

The food here was just so so, but the service was poor. It took way too long to get our food and the waiter never came by to check to see if we needed anything else or if everything was to our liking.

Relaxed dining

By RetiredMilitary |

We were in the area for a wedding and had a late lunch. The restaurant was fairly empty so tables were plentiful. Our server was quite gracious. My dining companion had a salad and I had a burger. Both were nicely prepared and quite tasty. Well worth the stop.

Nice Variety

By TonyBds |

Located inside Miami Airport Marriott, this restaurant offers a nice selection of options for dinner. The staff were friendly enough and service was timely and quite professional. The restaurant also offers breakfast and provides either a buffet option or a la carte. We tried the buffet which was quite good with a varied selection of fruits.

Great burger and service

By Dalton P |

Ira was fantastic. We had a pleasant visit while eating a great burger at the bar. Keep him around and make sure he’s interacting with as many customers as possible. It will benefit you.

A Nice Hotel Restaurant

By bsimosd |

We had dinner at this restaurant located in the lobby of the Marriott Airport Hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We shared a most delicious Snapper with rice, which was quite authentic since we needed to debone the fish. The kitchen was extremely slow, and took at least 30 minutes from order to serving the entree. We weren't in any hurry...other than we were quite hungry! We followed up in the morning with a nice breakfast, and were served promptly.

Hotel restaurant

By 280TimS |

Nice little hotel restaurant bar that has some decent food. Calamari was very good for a hotel bar. Had the burger which was really good also. If you stay at the hotel visit this place it's not bad.

cane fire

By kevin f |

I enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The cost is a little pricey, but not bad for the Miami area overall. The appetizers can get you full alone.

The room service restaurant did well.

By SeatOfMyPntsTravelr |

I ended up needing a late night food delivery and was very pleased with the salad and shrimp. The ingredients were very fresh and the shrimp was not overcooked.

Christmas Dinner

Great restaurant inside hotel

By kitalki |

Hubby and I enjoyed this restaurant and didn't have to leave the hotel! Very good food. Fair price. Not bad at all.

Dinner at Marriott Hotel near Miami Airport

By Pamela S |

My husband and I ate dinner at this restaurant on October 13, 2015. This restaurant is inside the lobby of the Marriott which is about a 5-10 minute shuttle ride from the airport. For beverages, I had a rum and coke and my husband and a glass of a Malbec wine. For entrees, I had a cane salad and added chicken - it was tasty and fresh. My husband had a roast turkey sandwich which was very good. We did not have any desserts. We did not have a reservation and were seated right away. Although this lobby bar/restaurant area was well attended.

Nice evening sandwich and service

By John B |

We were stuck in MIA after a missed flight (thank you US Customs and Immigration). The airline was good enough to give us a discount coupon for the Airport Marriott. We checked in and needed a quick bite to eat so went to the Cane Fire Grille in the lobby. We found it to be very nice. The service was great and the sandwich and salad we had was very good. Hotel food isn't usually the best. That isn't the case here as it was very nice with friendly service.

An off night?

By Roberta B |

I stay at the Miami Airport Marriott a couple of times a year and eat at the Cane Fire usually once or twice. My visit this week was disappointing. It has been the best part of a year since I have been to Miami and Cane Fire has had some menu changes. Previously, Cane Fire had a great "go to" real roasted, sliced turkey sandwich on a seedy multi-grain bread. Formerly, the turkey was fresh, piled high and very good. My colleague and I decided to share the sandwich ($12) and each order a salad ($10-12). We were sitting in the M Lounge, a loyalty perk for regular customers. The sandwich came out first and we immediately knew things had changed. The bread was different. The sandwich was flat. When we removed the top pieces of bread, it revealed that the sandwich that was no longer roasted turkey, it was turkey lunch meat. A bite revealed that it wasn't even just roasted turkey lunch meat - it was smoked turkey lunch meat which is a completely different taste. We double checked the menu and it still listed the fresh roasted turkey. It wasn't. The salads had came out immediately after the sandwich and looked beautiful. Once the food was delivered, we did not see a server again so we could not even ask about the sandwich changes. We were tired and hungry and opted not search out someone. But, we should not have had to do that since someone should have checked in with us. I had the Cane Fire salad ($10) which was a perfect portion. The flavors were spot on, but it was a bit heavily dressed. It appeared that the dressing pooled in the middle of the salad so that the outside was lightly dressed but when you got to the middle - it was soggy. My previous rating of Cane Fire was a 4. It was a pleasant surprise for hotel food. Not this time, in comparison to previous experience, it did disappoint. I hope it was simply a comedy of errors. My hope: The regular chef called off sick. The sub used the turkey lunch meat from the breakfast buffet in error. The shift in coverage on the line resulted in someone with a slightly heavier hand dressing the salads. I will give it another chance on my next visit before crossing it off my list.

CANE FIRE GRILL

By Nicole V |

This is in response to Doug S. I've been to that bar at full capacity very many times, know all the staff personally and believe they work very hard. Someone like you is better off at an all you can eat buffet, where you can serve your impatient self in excess. Don't speak on behalf of other patrons you believe were having a bad time. It might have been your negativity, which is apparent in your hostile review. Maybe if you could shake off some of that frivolous attitude, you would have someone to accompany you for those 5 minutes that you were thinking about food and an extra shot in your drink.

Good service & flatbread.

By AnnieO11 |

I arrived late after a long day of delayed travel. I was hungry, so I was delighted that the restaurant was open late. They kept our water & iced tea topped off - which was much appreciated. I was hungry but in the mood for something different - I ordered a chorizo flatbread. It was delicious and hit the spot - not too heavy, just the right size and very flavorful. This was a treat after a long day.

Great meal and draft beer selection

By richm4444 |

Had dinner at this Marriott restaurant. Had the Mahi fish tacos, Seafood chowder, Cane salad, and key lime pie. They were all excellent along with a nice selection of draft beer (I had a Kona dark that was terrific).

old standard...Marriott Burger

By RADandrea |

No matter where in the world I stay in a Marriott, the one consistently terrific thing is the Marriott Burger!

Good burgers and decent service

By cmschw@comcast.net |

We stayed in a Marriott and this restaurant was situated in the lobby. Don't expect gourmet food or great service. But still a comfortable experience.

Food pretty good, service not so hot!

By Christine K |

We were staying here for the night between flights. It sounded like it might be loud at first but the noise level was fine. The menu selection was great and food very good. Unfortunately our server, Noel not so much. We had a party of 6 therefore, gratuity of 18 % was included. Had it not been I would have chosen to tip 15 %. I wondered if it was his first day or he was new, he seemed a bit overwhelmed and I felt bad for him. His service was very slow and he forgot an appetizer. He fixed it right away. He took away a plate I was eating without asking, kind of not cool. Again, maybe he was just having a bad night.

Mediocre food and atmosphere but good service

By cmschw@comcast.net |

The Cane Fire Grille in Miami Airport Hotel is not that good except for service. My burger while cooked to my specs was not tasty and was accompanied by very mediocre fries. Skip this place is my advice!

Fresh ingredients, delicious food

By Dl0vestotravel |

Ate here often since I stayed at the Marriott for work. Good food, plenty variety, extremely courteous and attentive staff.

Great food, worth the price!

By nsc0tt65 |

The night we stayed at the Marriott we eat dinner at this place , the staffs were polite, active and also the food was great and the price in our personal opinion was worth it.

Good choice for a quick meal

By palomah1 |

This Restaurant is located in the Lobby area of the Marriott Miami Airport location. After A long Airline Flight It is a great choice if you don’t feel like searching for an outside Restaurant. Service was fast and very Courteous, Not an extensive Menu, but what we ordered was very good (Great Nochos) for a starter. No disappointments hereAs usu

Great Food, Fast Service

By Mark P |

Cane Fire is conveniently located in the Lobby of the Hotel. Adjacent to the meeting rooms great for quick lunch or dinner. One of the bartenders I met has been working behind that same bar for 34 years. He's an amazing guy with a unique presence that brings life to the place. This bar is a great compliment to the hotel.

Food is good but pricey

By QuahogRob |

I've been here several times when in Miami on business. I'm tried the Cuban (good) and the Burger (also good). My favorite meal is actually 2 appetizers: Chips with Balsamic Dip and the Fish Tacos. The chips are a reasonable $6 and the tacos are $9. There are plenty of chips wait ha really, really good creamy dip. The tacos are on the small side and come 3 to a plate, for $9 they should be bigger or be 1 more on the plate. Overall, really good service and good food. Very convenient for Marriott and Courtyard guests.

One of the best burgers anywhere

By Paul M. |

We ate at the restaurant bar and were well-served by a bartender with decades of Marriott service. I don't know anything about other menu items, but the burger was scrumptious and accompanying salad was OK. Complimentary mojito was made to perfection.

Good food!

By Charles1019 |

This place is located inside the Residence Inn so having a full service restaurant at this brand is nice. The food is good as is the service. We had dinner one night and breakfast once. The prices are maybe a bit high but after all this is an airport location and in Miami

Surprise experience in Miami Airport Marriott!

By Pierrette C |

Just finished a great food experience at the Cane Fire Grille located at the Marriott Miami Airport in Florida. Although a little pricey, we felt the items we chose for dinner were delightfully seasoned and didn't taste like any food we have had recently. Our total for dinner, including a mojito, iced tea and beer, and bread pudding was $85 not including a 20 percent tip. We ordered a bowl of tomato bisque, which had a great seasoned taste, crab cake appetizer which we thought for $13 was a little overpriced for one crab cake, but was real crab and had great flavor, jerk chicken wings which had a dry spices rub to them, good serving, which I could have eaten more, a cane fire signature salad which had a mix of salad greens, avocado, fresh mozzarella cheese, roasted red pepper and passion fruit vinaigrette. Delicious! My husband had the curry salmon salad which had nuts, curry, mixed greens, peas, salmon with a cilantro based vinaigrette dressing which he made sure he completely finished. The hotel lobby and restaurant decor were modern, attractive and inviting. Free wifi, starbucks, not your typical tacky airport hotel. We would definitely visit again!

Great Food & Service, Bravo!

By Bernadette P |

Fantastic food, drinks & service! Everyone from the bus person to bartender was attentive / great. Food was SO much better than the usual Marriot level restaurant food. Top notch! So good to not have to seek out better food when staying in hotels for work. Bravo to this whole staff! 👏

Interesting

By Melodee K |

It was our first introduction to Florida cuisine and the combination of flavours was different but good, the Florida twist on comfort favourites. We were part of a large group,in the evening that seemed to overwhelm our server but had vastly superior service in the morning for breakfast and then lunch on our return visit.

Dinner with wife

We were stuck in Miami for the night due to airline issues. This restaurant is in the Marriott airport. We had multiple drinks at the bar and our bartender was awesome. My wife ordered the special which was strip steak and ordered a burger both were cooked to perfection and were delicious. The also have a M Club here if your elite and quite the spread.

Excellent breakfast buffet but rather pricey.

By PhantomB222 |

We were actually staying at another property on site and after a bad experience for breakfast at that hotel we decided to try Cane Fire. Much better choice but along with a better experience comes a loftier price; $7 more to be exact. But the buffet was delicious, the tables were clean, and the staff was very friendly. Yissell, our attendant, was excellent - she needs to be promoted. Be prepared to spend some $$$ for breakfast; three people and we were at $80 including tip.

Bassic Food And Ambiance

By Oldjack |

This retsuarnat refelcts the hotel itself and is old and tired and the food was basic at best with little imagination or creativity. which is a pity bjt probably satisfies a need for the weary traveller passing through. There are few options around the hotel so it is a captive market but Marriott can and should do better.

Very Nice Hotel Restaurant

By Dieselbeetle |

This restaurant is located within the Miami Airport Marriott. Atmosphere is typical of an upscale Marriott restaurant. Service was good as well as the food. It’s a better than average, convenient place to eat if you’re staying at the Marriott. If not, I’m not sure that I would go out of my way to eat there.

Staff at the bar are great; food is mediocre.

By boyerbuckets |

The staff at the bar clearly love their work. They make ALL customers feel welcome. They are the hotel's best asset. The food is unimaginative and not well executed. The hotel/restaurant web site and the restaurant menu advertise a 4-7 pm happy hour. It does not exist. When I asked about happy hour as the menu and web site said to do, I was told "we don't really have a happy hour but you can get a cheap can of bud." Come on--either do not advertise a happy hour or at least make an effort.

Pricy, but good food at dinner.

By Jim S |

Fortunately, having just come off a cruise, I had become accustomed to paying 200% more than market prices. Skip the brunch -- $25 for scrambled eggs and sausage.

Good food

By Worldexplorer2008 |

Travelled with family including two kids (9 and 10), we all enjoyed the food and service at the Cane fire. We ate dinner and found the hamburgers and carne asada platter to be excellent. At breakfast we had the buffet and it offered a good choice for all of us. Truly enjoyed it and recommend this restaurant, although it is a bit pricey.

Pricey

By hurricane48 |

Selections were pricey. Breakfast buffet was very good. Service was adequate but I had hard time communicating with waitress. Her English was poor and I do not speak Spanish

Nice Food and Atmosphere

By Uniall |

We stayed at the Residence Inn which adjoins the Cane Fire Grille's Marriott Hotel. We had a nice meal with good friends.

exceptional food, service and value

By PETER1290 |

We were greeted by Cecilia who was outstanding as a server and wine guide She like Genesis on the front desk are the epitome of Marriott guest centricity and value the food was fresh, beautifully cooked and serious portions delivered with elegance, style and care

Somewhat OK, Somewhat disappointing

By James A |

I was staying at this Marriott at MIA airport which is a nice hotel. This was due to massive storms in Miami for days. Flights cancelled. I went here to Cane for dinner and what for…? Honestly. The MIA Pantry is better and better service and the same price or less. I order chicken on a salad and a soup. Waiter forgot the soup. How hard is it to remember two things… three if you count water. They were not even busy. The chicken was precooked and heated up so half hot and half cold. Next time I’ll go to the Cuban place outside. They cook it fresh! This restaurant is for lazy people who do not want to leave the hotel because there are at least five better places to go walking distance from the hotel (5-7 minutes) that are the same price or cheaper. If I’m lazy I’ll just use the MIA pantry. You can skip this one

A nice restaurant with a limited menu!!!

By FrequentTravellerAZ |

This is a nice restaurant with a limited menu. However, what they serve is really good and gives a bit of a fine dining experience. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. They have a decent sized bar but drinks are very expensive compared to food.

Good airport hotel restaurant

By JandNMc |

Had a hankering for a burger and wasn't disappointed with their backyard burger. Stater of prawn cocktail was also good and finished with flan. Espresso and Sambucca finished me. Well looked after by Noel

Not so great

By Luv2TravelFarNWide |

The menu looks good but the execution isn't good. We had a "fancy" grilled cheese sandwich with home-cured bacon and the bacon was totally inedible. It was of poor flavor and extremely tough and stringy. We also had a "gourmet" turkey sandwich which turned out to be just thin slices of lunch-meat-style turkey. Totally unexciting. The fries were good. Overall this was an overpriced meal with no pizazz in any way. Wish I'd had something from the Starbucks across the lobby.

Great Food

By RKP001 |

I usually order the Mai-Mai fish and want it very spicy. The chef Shauna-Kay get it right each time. Her special sauce is spicy but also so tasty. She is prepared to go that extra mile to give you exactly what you want. Please keep it up Shauna-Kay.

SoulEdge: Horizon Dreamscape

By Anthony S |

SoulEdge: Horizon Dreamscape Arrived their way early morning. Mercedes gave me excellent service & very is knowledgeable. I ordered the All American Plate with coffee. Love the potions & taste. Visit dedicated to my ex German American gf. Cue in the songs Nothing Can Stop Me Now by Mark Holman (it’s one of our favorites songs) and Lagertha | Thunder and Lightning video by James Smith. (It’s only a music video, it reminds me of her. I’m being respectful, I don’t condone violence.) 🇺🇸🇩🇪🎸🐻

Good food and great bourbon

By Queentooty |

We were here twice and both times had their salads with grilled chicken and shrimp. Ceviche was nice too. They specialize in bourbon drinks - excellent. Noel our waiter in visit number 2 was very attentive and personable.

A Typical American Grill

By Oldjack |

This was a just an OK restaurant at the Marriott at Miami Airport with average food and service. The decor was fine but basically let down by the food.

excellent

By Valerie N |

Best corned beef hash for breakfast I ever had! Classy and clean. Homemade french fries and the salmon is wonderful. beautiful lobby too.

Great staff

By SFOPhD |

The bartenders/servers here are friendly and professional. They helped make arriving after a long flight easier. Food is also above average for an airport hotel restaurant. Try the jerk wings!

Average Food

By UNique6767 |

Cant say much about this restaurant. Service good, and the food is nothing to write home about. Maybe I am picky but in my opinion the food was average.

Good breakfast buffet and dinner

By DebJ14 |

We ate dinner and breakfast at Cane Fire Grill. I ordered a Grilled Chicken salad and my husband ordered the Cuban Steak Sandwich. Both entrees were very good. We just wished there had been more of a selection of dinner entrees - most seemed better suited for lunch or a snack. The service at dinner was great. We had the breakfast buffet included in our hotel package. There was quite a good selection of items and the cooked to order omelets were very good. Service at breakfast was good, although the servers seemed overwhelmed with the large number of people. The restaurant is open to the lobby and between the noise of the restaurant and the people in the lobby, it is a very loud restaurant and difficult to carry on a conversation.

Good choice

By Brian O |

We got into Miami late and didn't feel like leaving our hotel. The food and service were good here. They stay open fairly late as well which worked out perfect for us.

Good food, great atmosphere - but overpriced and with slow service

By Jesse |

I ate at the Cane Fire Grille twice while staying at the Miami Airport Marriott, once for breakfast and once for dinner. The food was very good on both occasions, but extremely overpriced - as one might expect from a hotel restaurant which caters to a high volume of travelers in Miami on business. The service was extremely slow. It took 45 minutes for our breakfast to come out (which we ordered off the menu)...and when you're on a timetable, that can wreak havoc. Service for dinner was just as slow, with our server disappearing for long stretches of time. The food was good - I had a delicious tomato soup and a salad with grilled chicken and dried plantains and mango dressing. Really unique and very good. All of the food looked beautiful, but the best part for me was the ambience. The background music was instrumental and reminded me of video game soundtracks (think Skyrim, or Final Fantasy). That was a BIG plus for me, and much easier on the ears than that horrible canned pseudo-jazz that most public places tend to play. The music almost made up for the slow service, becuause it put me in a good, relaxed, mood right away.

What a surprise!

By WatchingandRating |

We did not expect such great dining in a hotel's restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is impeccable. Also a big plus for having open hours until midnight!

good for sandwiches and a drink

By egbggill |

brisket and turkey sandwiches were large enough to swap and share. Not romantic but a nice place for a light dinner.

Expensive for ordinary food

By Christine V |

My husband had a hamburger and even though the quality of the meat was good, it was not something to write home about. I had a salad of some kind, can't even remember what. ho-hum

Good sit-down hotel restaurant

By Barney B |

I've eaten here before and the food is always good...the service is very good and the prices are in line with what one would expect to pay at a full-service hotel in the business district...the menu is diverse though the selection is not huge, but certainly adequate for a quick lunch... I had a table to myself and as always the food was delicious and the waitress was very attentive... I prefer to eat here rather than at the airport because I know I can relax and not feel the pressure to move on because there are other customers waiting to get a seat... I would recommend this restaurant for a good, solid meal, at at a decent price with good service

Very nice......

By bridget f |

We enjoyed some really good wine and bourbon along with pork belly & short rib appetizers. Nice atmosphere to relax.

Good Burger, Good Service, but...

By II2None59 |

I stayed at the Marriott campus during my pre-cruise and then post-cruise stay, and as there so few restaurants in the immediate area, and i didn't want to venture off the property, I had dined at the Champions Sports Bar three times (located at the Courtyard by Marriott location). So I was very disappointed when I went to have lunch on my departure day -- and they were having a staff meeting, meaning the restaurant was closed until dinner (and I'd be gone by then). So my only alternative was the Cane Fire Grille, located at the Marriott Hotel, which is also part of the campus, a restaurant I simply hadn't considered visiting because - after perusing the menu - I figured I could find the same options at Champions, and possibly at a lower price. But since I didn't want to wait 3 or 4 hours to find something to eat at the airport, I decided to check out Cane Fire. The restaurant sits right off the spacious hotel lobby, but although the Marriott was busy, I was the only one present for about an hour, although several others came in during my short time there. My server was at the table almost immediately to take my drink order and pour me a glass of water, and I decided to go with the 'Cane Fire Burger' with garden greens on the side. My burger was prepared as ordered - medium rare; the cheddar added to the flavor, and since I had asked for the port onion jam and the cane fire sauce on the side, what little I tried of that turned out to be quite good; the greens were fresh, and a nice change from the usual fries. My only complaint was the smell which permeated the restaurant, and which had not been at all obvious in the hotel lobby or in Starbucks. Now smells are something I often deal with in my job in forensics, so if I detect it, that means they are REALLY standing out. I kept looking around for a source: a bucket of cleaning water, mop, a floral arrangement, anything, and with it being so overtly pungent, I started thinking (and now think) that it might have been a cleaning solution. If so, they definitely need to change it out because as I glanced around at the few customers, I saw that I wasn't the only one who was sniffing the air. I don't know if I'll visit them again when I have a pre-cruise stay at the Residence Inn, but I might give them another chance. As I said, the meal itself was fine, considering it's a hotel restaurant; perhaps on another visit the only fragrances will be of a delicious burger or steak.

Wanted to eat here but the menu was very limited. Went to the Courtyard (Champions) a little better.

By Michael M |

Wanted to have supper here because I did not have a car for the evening. The menu was very limited for sure. I did have a drink from Happy Hour tho.

Great Libations!

By BlueMarlinDave |

I have had some great breakfasts here before departing to the airport and have always enjoyed the food and service. Needless to say, the bar has some great libations and is the perfect Oasis after a long day or work or before or after a flight. Ira the bartender always seems to be right on to of things and you will always feel at home with him behind the bar!

Pork Belly here.

By Guy A |

This was a great find for dinner. We were staying next door at a Courtyard, so glad we walked in here. The food was spectacular. We had the Pork Belly Bites, very good stuff, then Crab Poppers and finished up with Shrimp and Grits. This was topped off with a delicious Pinot Noir. Although part of a hotel, Cane Fire Grille rises to a level of fine dining and is certainly worth your time and money.

Breakfast buffet

By DC_Cazador |

Get the eggs the way you want them. Lots of fresh fruit and tons of bacon. As a gold member of the Marriott reward program you get free full buffet. Very nice.

Cane Fire Grill

By Bruce M |

We ate at the bar at the Cane Fire Grill which is inside the Marriott near the airport. A pleasant surprise as both the food and service were much better than I would have expected for a hotel restaurant. My salmon and my brother's steak were each very good and the service was excellent.

Average airport hotel restaurant

By Lisa M |

This restaurant is located in the Marriott Miami airport. Service is slow and food is average. It is a typical airport hotel restaurant.

Decent food but brutally slow service

By Michelle M |

Came here for dinner after a long day of traveling for good food and quick meal. Although they serve good quality food (aside from the ketchup served with my calamari; marinara requested came out a half hour later after we finished appetizer) the service was BRUTALLY SLOW, both bar service, and at our table for dinner. Good sangria, generous servings of food, and moderate prices for sandwiches....but unless you have the time and patience to wait for a mediocre meal I recommend going elsewhere.

Crab Cakes are awesome!!

By delmar60 |

After a long flight, sitting down to a great meal of appetizers hit the spot, we ordered the crabcakes and the nacho's. The nacho's were your average nacho's but the crab cakes were just fantastic. The bar has about 10 beers on tap plus a great martini list. Enjoy!!

Get the Salmon!

By THannah_13 |

Only ate here because I was starving, but it was a great decision. Perfectly seared salmon like I've never had before.

Nice Place

By DeborahDale8 |

The menu is small but the food was decent. The staff was somewhat helpful when we needed extra help with our food.

Good food and friendly staff

By Bill Pierce |

Nice little bar and restaurand in the airport Mariott. We enjoyed cocktails and appitizers. Other guests had dinners that looks great.

Standard Marriott Fare with a twist

By rdwing0919 |

Generally a pretty standard Marriott menu. They do have a few items that are locally influenced. Breakfast for Platinum guests in the new style, first-floor lounge area. Bar/restaurant area is vibrant and good place to work or grab a drink.

Handy dining in option

By Jools |

The food was OK. Probably good, in fact, by some American standards, but not too much to offer to my tastes, but filled the need to eat, without having to wander too far. Bit slow with bringing water and wine *on demand*, but the food came quickly enough.

Easy and accessible casual dining

By Roger L |

The food and service was superior to the atmosphere which was a bit noisy and overly casual. That is, no table cloth or cloth napkins.

Overpriced but decent

By M R |

Typical in hotel restaurant in my opinion. Food was okay but higher priced than it needs to be. Breakfast particularly high for their buffet. Not a family on a budget place!

tasty

By Michael K |

The Cane Grille offers a nice assortment of beef and seafood. Recommend the salmon or the Mahi-Mahi over rice.

Convenient Choice for a Good Dinner on the Marriott Campus

By Brian M |

Turned out to be a good choice for a convenient dinner while staying at the Courtyard Miami Airport in the same Marriott campus. The food was plentiful and hot, although a bit pricey in my opinion. I liked the salmon, and my wife enjoyed a gluten free version of the mahi-mahi dinner. We ate there early on a Saturday evening and had no problem getting seated. Best to take a jacket since the AC can get a bit chilly in the restaurant.

Good food

By Adam P |

I only ate once there, and got a burger. Tasted good, service fast, high quality and not rediculously priced. Saw steaks etc. and wouldn't have any backoff on ordering that as well.

Tired and wanting good to eat

By rlwimmer61674 |

The food here was good and the service was great. We had a pita chips and dip. Delish We also had the brisket sandwich. Delish

Great food. Great service

By Mike D |

Always a great meal and service. Staff is great friendly and helpful. Burgers are juicy, quesadillas always delicious.

Great for late night bite

By K L |

flew in from west coast and arrived at the hotel around 10:30pm. Happy this restaurant was till open (and I think it's open till midnight). Ordered a fish taco and a seafood soup. Both were great. That really helped for my first night of sleep.. ;)

Great Food in the Residence Inn Marriott by Airport

By Rick N |

Had dinner around 10 pm on a Friday night after arriving from airport. Our server was delightful. Had a bar for cocktails near lobby of hotel. Had an amazing fish dinner perfectly cooked. All the food was tasty we ordered and highly recommend it your are hungry and need a convenient dinner at your hotel.

Busy restaurant in Hotel

By sunvalley2015 |

This place can be so busy you feel rushed through. They are very successful it seems. The food is ok and the location for a tired traveler is perfect.

Average resturant

By Kenneth |

Cant say much about this restaurant. Service wasnt all that great and the food is nothing to write home about. Seems like every seat is located directly inline with the air conditioning outlets. Steaks are over priced in my opinion.

Nice Place For a Bite

By Lynda L |

We had just come back from our Cancun trip and as we parked the car at this Marriott (check online for Miami parking...great parking prices and a secure location) and as it was the height of rush hour with a 2 hour trip ahead of us and dinner time we decided to grab a bite to eat. Nothing fancy. This is in the lobby of the hotel. I had a Caesar salad which was enormous and fresh and my husband had a Cane Burger which was juicy and delicious. I had 2 glasses of wine and my husband had a soda and it was $41 which wasn't bad. We never felt rushed and our server, Cecilia was always there when we needed her. A really nice place that didn't feel like your average hotel bar.

Nice Restaurant

By wctrvlr |

We stayed at the Courtyard and walked over to the Marriott for the restaurant. Had eaten here about 6 years ago prior to a cruise and enjoyed it then. This visit was no different. The food was good, service was a bit slow but it was a Friday night and the place was busy. We had drinks at the very nice bar area and, then, got a table for dinner. Noel was supposed to be our waiter but the Hostess waited on us the entire time (said she was helping out Noel, hope she kept the tip). We had the Shrimp & Grits and the Mahi Mahi, both were very good.

Convenient Decent Food,

By Alan G |

Staying at Residence Inn and walked over to avoid traffic. Decent food for a hotel. Nothing special or nothing bad just average.

Good Simple Menu, Excellent service.

By Caribbeangeorge |

We ate twice at the Grill, one for breakfast which is huge, they have both options, a la carte and buffet, waiting staff and cook are real nice, another night we ordered at the bar, hamburger and sandwiches, real good, relaxed atmosphere.

Great dinner!

By scottmedclinic |

Ate dinner outbound and coming back from a Caribbean trip. Food and drinks were very good. Will definitely be back if going thru Miami.

Breakfast

By NCNJGIRLZ |

Ate here for breakfast the first day we arrived. It was only two groups there at first so the service was fast. The food was ok, of course a little pricey, but that was to be expected. The only issue I had was that it was FREEZING cold in there. Other than that everything was ok.

walking distance from hotel...

By RonPerry6344 |

Very convenient location to our lodging. We were walking distance from our hotel ...Marriott-Residence Inn-Airport. Decent food & service.

Love the bar!

By Joe V |

Two words are all you need: Ira and Jose. These have got to be two of the greatest bartenders ever! They know the menu well, so ask them for their suggestions but forget about the food, they are going to make your day. I was staying at the adjoining Residence Inn for 5 weeks of training for work. The first night I ate in Cane Fire I sat at a table by myself and ate but I couldn't help watching the bar. It was like an episode of Cheers. They seemed to know everyone, they were introducing strangers to one another and pouring glasses of happiness all around, even if it was a glass of water. These guys entertained me for the next 5 weeks. Jose's drinks were spot-on and Ira was like the cruise director. He would say hey sit over here Joe meet Mr. So & So, you guys have this in common. You may want to have the short ribs tonight, they are incredible... Jose and Ira were incredible and complimented each other like Abbott did Costello or Laurel did Hardy. They just put a smile on everyone's face. I'll never forget characters at the bar like the guy with the plush bunny rabbit (Jose, I'm still looking for one on E-Bay) and the great saleswomen who likes to shop. The restaurant has good food, has a great look but the bar is where you'll find me. Thanks Ira and Joe...BTW, Ira celebrated 31 years with Marriott, Congratulations again Ira.

Great good

By csvijil |

Great food and service! The Avocado Rangoons were very good and the Chicken Tortilla Soup is great as well.

Great Food And Service

By Stewart S |

We had the best Cuban food here and BBQ ribs. The service was excellent. Everyone was so patient and helpful. The prices are very reasonable for Miami. It is located inside the Marriott Courtyard Hotel. Very nice environment.

Love the bartenders!

By Sue R |

Whenever my husband and I come to Miami, we always stay in one of the hotels in this Marriott complex. Our favorite is the full-service Marriott. This last time we came for a short trip at the end of January, and we stayed in the Residence Inn, because the Marriott was booked. But we always come to the Cane Fire in the Marriott for drinks. Ira, Rosie, and Jose behind the bar are super--friendly and fun to talk to, and Ira will even give you samples of the beers or wines to make sure you order something you like. I also have to say that I asked one of the guys at the front desk of the Marriott if we could use the concierge lounge, even though we were staying at the Residence Inn, and he was kind enough to bend the rules, since I wanted to say hello to Antonine, who is the lovely lady works in the lounge and makes us feel like family whenever we stay here. These Marriott folks are always so welcoming--it feels like home away from home.

Reliably solid with very good service and....

By BusinessTraveler5931 |

The executive Lounge which is adjacent is always great for breakfast and happy hour. I do wish they would bring back the Short Ribs braised in Malta. For business travelers passing through Miami this is a convenient option given that it is located in the Marriott Airport complex.

Slow service but good food

By Barbara S |

Restaurant is within the Marriott Hotel - bar connected to restaurant was lively which made up for the lack of dinners, only about 12 people in there. Food excellent and very reasonable although the service is a little slow which did not bother us as we had time but if time was an issue then it could be a problem.

Not up to Marriott standards

By Ray Z |

Restaurant was a huge disappointment. Too casual and obviously no dress code. Many folks sitting around in sleeveless shirts and ragged shorts. They would have been okay in the bar area, but not in a dining area of a fancy hotel. Bar is adjacent and offers same menu so it would be easy to correct this poor atmosphere. We were there 2 nights and ordered room service the second night rather than be exposed to the same distractive settings. Food was only fair. I think they are trying too hard to be "different" and it was not that good.

Great place and great food

By Evelyn P |

The best chicken caesar salad. Great place to unwind and relax and have a great meal and a cocktail. We ate here twice and enjoyed it.

GREAT food!!

By Mark H |

I ate here during a stay at the Courtyard Marriott. I started the meal with the Short Rib Sliders. Perhaps my favorite appetizer of all time!! The entree was the Five Cheese Ravioli. This is a HUGE entree!! I could only eat about half of it!! Finally, the dessert... Banana Bread Pudding is a MUST have!! Overall, the establishment is GREAT!! I would not hesitate to eat here again!!

Not Worth It

By Clarisse C |

The menu is extremely limited. I ordered steak quesadilla and was very disappointed...thankfully, the meat was tender, but for $16, it could have had more than meat, cheese, tortilla--how about chopped tomatoes and lettuce. Service was somewhat attentive. Only two other tables were occupied...that could have been a clue. My husband has no saliva, due to oral radiation, and there was nothing on the menu he could eat. He asked and the cook did fry him a couple of eggs. Between the eggs, quesadilla, milk, & a flan, our tab came to $45 with tip...certainly not worth it. Had the food been good and enough of it...maybe. If we ever have to stay at this hotel again, we'll surely skip this restaurant.

Service needs to improve a lot

By Outdoorguy2 |

Service is slow. Restaurant is pretty much in the middle of the lobby so it does not really feel like a restaurant. Food is very good but service just is very slow and at times not very attentive.

Dinner on the Marriott Campus

By ChefPlease |

We ate here while staying at the Residence Inn next door. We ordered the pork belly bites which were quite good. Certainly enough for 2 to share. I kept vacillating between the snapper and salmon...we were in Florida after all. But when our waiter said the snapper was frozen and the salmon fresh and line caught, that clinched the deal for me. It was a huge chunk of fish and properly cooked...Dan’s pork chop was equally good. It was nice that we could walk here and then easily make it back to our room.

Disapointment

By steve w |

Located in the Marriott Airport. The menu is very small and was on the expensive side. Food and service was okay.

Lunch and Dinner

By Bustrav8585 |

The lunch service just sucked period. Why? because they are slower and really do not care for the customer. Three times my party tried this restaurant and three times same old 1 1/2 hours to get food. Had to continue to ask for water and drink refills. Dinner was the same too. It was not busy and still asked for simple things including 20 minutes to get our first round of drinks! Had to ask many times for things such as extra salad dressing, more drinks, and even the check! Food was good and we were staying at the hotel so did not have to worry about driving. However, you just cannot overlook how poor the service is and my recommendation is to eat at the bar area. They were very efficient with getting drinks and food.

Tasty Delight

By cruiselady77 |

We came at shift time and the service was a little slow but the food was very good and the servers were very friendly.
