If you're a Seahawks or Sounders fan this is a must for you to stop by. They will play both games anytime they air. They carry both NFL Sunday Ticket and MLS Direct Kick so all NFL and MLS games are available. Also, the bartenders are awesome and will hook it up with good strong drinks.

Good Irish pub in New York City, good pints. Good place to go of an evening. Good location also. Can't say enough anyway.

We stopped off here on a hot and humid New York afternoon looking for a little respite from the heat. What we found was cold beer and a very warm reception from the bartender Sean.

Needed a beer after a hot day. This was the nearest Irish pub. Half pub half pool place. Beer was great.

we got a small cheese cake and a lobster tail (pastry with a cream filling). very good. they are busy, be prepared to wait a few minutes. take a number when you walk in and make sure to listen for it. they do not call the number twice.

Last summer a couple of friends of mine had just finished doing a whirlwind tour of the Met. We were going to a Yankees game(vs Red Sox) that evening and decided to have a beer(hot as hell out) and we were in desperate need of using the facilities. Well we walked toward the subway and just by luck saw Carlo East. We walked in and ordered a couple of pints from the grouchy looking bartender. Somehow we got talking to a local who I can only describe as being a Kevin James type named Billy. He was very friendly and we told him we were from the Maritimes of Canada and were going to the ball game. My foolish friend told him I was a Red Sox fan. He told us to not to say that too loud in this bar. This in turn, made Billy tell the grouchy bartender I was a Boston fan. More dirty looks. I thought we were dead. Well, after a few drinks later, a few stories here and there, the bartender came over and I thought we were dead. He proceeds to pull out his wallet and show us family pictures of his mother and him at Fenway Park near the scoreboard. He was a SOX fan. We were there for only an hour or so, but it was one of the highlites of our New York trip. Everyone was very friendly and the beer was cold. If we ever make it back, we will make a return trip.

Terrific atmosphere...all ages...great beers (and champagne splits too!!)...can look intimidating on the outside but very friendly on the inside

We had a most pleasant time. The bartender was helpful they do not serve food but he suggested a couple local places we could grab something and bring back to the pub. We chose the sandwich shop on the corner and he was right very good. A crazy incident with a women who wanted to sit at the bar not order anything and chat on her phone. He told her that the seats are for paying customers she got upset called him a racist, they had a little bit of a loud disagreement. The owner came over sweet talked her and she left. Pretty sure she will give them a bad review ... To bad it was a good place for a couple drinks before or after the Met.

Good beer, but very very poor service. Bartender is an extremely unpolite person. I wouldn’t go back to this establishment.

Super Bowl in NYC and the place to go. Great meeting up with the twelfth man! Great company and boy can they cram them in!

Unassuming place but old fashioned and dark. They actually have some de cent Irish style food like stews etc. nice for a pint with a friend But just one or two. Friendly service and a happy crowd here

Small Irish bar. Cozy and easy relaxed setup. Friendly staff. Great variety of Irish drinks. Definitely has locals and loyal customers.

Spent a lovely couple of hours in this pub, staff & other customers were very friendly and welcoming. We called in after a very cold, snowy walk around Central Park. Definitely recommend.

Visiting for Seattle super bowl XLVIII and went to this place and it was packed with seahawks. With the over crowding the staff still diligently provided prompt and accurate service. Bar is closer to subway line at 86th & Lexington.

My daughter was meeting me at Lexington and E 84th on the Upper East Side at one of her favorite watering holes. So I walk out of Penn Station watch a NYPD traffic officer taking his job a little to seriously picking on the cabbies and jump in an UBER. After a fun conversation with my driver about the World Cup I arrive join up with daughter and walk down Lex a short bit. There are plenty of bars in NYC however just one Carlow East a great neighborhood bar that happens to be one of only two Seahawks bars in the city. Turns out that here is the place to be on Seahawks game days with standing room only (ex SEA pats). Good call. Now I live in Seattle close to the Seahawks training center and am proudly a very big fan...a true 12. There is a huge 12 sign hanging from the ceiling with hundreds a Seahawks fan’s signatures and another smaller by the front door. The bar is packed with Seahawks memorabilia including a autographed photo of Russell Wilson In the rear by the pool tables. Long time bartender Sean greeted us warmly and chatted us up being a true New Yorker accent and all. We ordered two PBRs and Sean served them up quickly nice and cold. I told Sean that I lived in Seattle here visiting my daughter for her birthday and would tell John Schneider (Seahawks GM) about Carlow East and the team support...thanks. We paid our tab and were headed to the Penrose (see review) our second hop down the street. Sean handed my daughter a Carlow East t shirt (small) for her birthday and was kind enough to include a slightly larger one for me (if I can get it back from my wife I’ll be wearing it all over Seattle). Folks you have to belly up to Carlow East a fun warm neighborhood bar...even if you are an ill advised Patriot’s fan. GO SEAHAWKS, Ricardo y Anna Katie

We went during Super Bowl 48, and it was nice being able to go to a place away from home in New York. Good Bloody Marys and the service from the bar tenders and owners were great. only 3 blocks from Central Park.

This is a great must see bar when in New York! Great bartender, friendly and welcoming! Has a pool table too. And well priced bar.

If you are ever in the city for a Seahawks game, do yourself a favor and make it to Carlow East. Had more fun here than the bars right next to Century Link! Super friendly bartenders and patrons alike. Arrive EARLY or else be standing.

We came here on our trip to NYC to watch Seahawks vs Titans on 23 November. The atmosphere was brilliant, the bar was full of Seahawks fans, and they even had Giants on a separate screen for some of their fans that were in the bar. Frank deserves a special mention, as he was extremely funny and pleasant, and served us very quickly each time we went to the bar. A top establishment and I would come watch a Seahawks game here again if I return to NYC.

I enjoyed my visit to Carlow East. Bartender Kevin made a fine drink! It was a good experience spending time in a bar with regular folks. Good would definitely visit in the future!

Myself and my boyfriend came here for what we thought would be just the one drink but ended up staying for longer because we enjoyed it so much. Great bar, Great atmosphere, lovely drinks served by the lovely girl 'Car' behind the bar. Defo worth a visit. xxxx

A LOT of Seattle and Seahawks fans for Seahawks games. A cool experience with lots of transplants from the NW in NYC gathering. No food but they allow outside food and even let people set up buffets during the games.

Spent New Year's Eve at this hidden gem! So much fun to be with locals and tourists. Frank, the bartender, is an amazing guy! He took care of us and served up awesome drinks. Great evening in a great bar!

A decent looking all wood sports bar type of place. The two bartenders one more mature and the other half his age were equally rude to my mate and I. Didn't bother to tell us about happy hour until I asked another patron. Wouldn't go back.

Excellent pub with nice music and variety of beers. A nice chill out place close to Central Park of Manhattan. Great vibes for one or a couple of Pints

My wife and I were walking to the subway and happened upon Carlows East again on or way to the Yankees game. Stayed to watch the Hawks beat the Rams then off to the stadium!! The place to be to watch the Hawks!!! SEA.....Hawks SEA.....Hawks SEA.....Hawks SEA.....Hawks
Great Local
Great local, as they say. Good pints, comfortable and relaxing. Not “hip” or anything like that. Just a neighborhood place to stop in whenever you feel.
