Had an excellent experience at this Liverpool fc themed bar Food was great and good value for money and not far from one world trade centre Had fish and chips and couldn’t really go wrong with that My girlfriend had chicken and she really enjoyed it We would return for other menu items

This pub is an "official" Liverpool Football Club fan gathering spot. We were there on a Sunday afternoon match day. We cheered and sang Liverpool to a victory along with the multitude of other fans. Along with watching the game on the many large screens around the restaurant, we enjoyed pints of beer, sausage rolls, and wings. The cheerful atmosphere of the place was the best of all. A wonderful time, indeed.

Went in for food, there was a group of 4 of us. 2 of our party received their appetisers and the other 2 didn’t. All the mains came at the same time before we had finished the appetisers and the remaining appetisers arrived at the same time as the mains. Food was below par and then there was a 20% tip automatically added on to our bill

Obviously preferred for redmen, however, still a great spot to take in sport and food/drinks. We had a breakfast and guiness, both were awesome tip - on a matchday get there ATLEAST 1hour before kick off

I came here for drinks with my boyfriend and cousin during our stay in New York. The atmosphere in Carragher’s was good fun, and the cocktails were delicious! After a fun night of drinks at Carragher’s, my boyfriend and I returned the next day for lunch where I had buffalo chicken wings which were pretty yummy! The prices in this pub/bar are a bit more on the expensive side, and unfortunately only limited drinks (such as some beers and wines) are included in happy hour. However if you’re happy to spend a bit more, it’s worth a visit.

Stumbled upon Carragher’s whilst exploring lower Manhattan and in need of a beer. What a great bar, very spacious and a great friendly atmosphere. Reasonably priced beer with a good selection. Didn’t sample the food, but looked good!! Give it a go!

Visited here for the Europa match while on holiday. A great pub for any Liverpool fan, although it wasnt quite the lively atmosphere we expected for the game (maybe the result didnt help!). However the food was great with large portions. The service was excellent, in fact the most friendly and helpful staff we encountered. Really enjoyed our visit.

This place was amazing! My wife and I visited whilst we were in NYC and it was the best dinner we had. Staff were great and friendly and the place itself was very well presented and welcoming! Food was 10/10 and very reasonable priced. Any Brit needs to visit here just to experience it, liverpool fan or not! The portion sizes were big and they do English favourites to top it off!

Genuinely one of the worst places I’ve ever been. Inside smelled like a dirty toilet, the toilets themselves were unbelievably filthy, and the food was inedible. The fact that 3 out of 4 of us barely touched our food says a lot. I’m from Liverpool and I was embarrassed this place is even linked to it.

Night of December 25, deserted financial district, we enter to book and ask if there is availability of a low table with space for a stroller. the entrance has a particularly steep and downhill staircase. Stroller with newborn girl that obviously we brought down by ourselves despite the usher saw us in difficulty in making those steep and downhill stairs. I am told that for that evening there is a set menu for $80, which we get for two adults plus a set menu for $28 for one child. Food plentiful but of poor quality. The child is served last and the Pakistani waiter who struggles to speak English brings the first course and the second course at the same time, resulting in the first course, a pasta scalded, we have abundantly left it without tasting it. We ask for the bill, pay by credit card and make the mistake of not looking at all the items. Bottom line: they loaded a tip of 20% without our authorization when the mentioned in the receipt is 8%. We realize it only the next day when we receive the SMS from the bank with the transaction: 300 dollars!! All Pakistan or Indian staff. Irish just a guy at the door and particularly rude. Let's say as an Irish pub it can be fine if everything else is closed and to watch the game and have a beer. By the way, when we leave we find people eating the burger, so it is not true that it was mandatory to take the $80 per person menu.

Great atmosphere and good food. Found by accident, there's not a lot of choice in financial district, but do recommend.

Dark, dismal, seen better days, needs, sprucing up, only 1 ladies toilet working & wasn't very presentable, dirty floor & broken toilet paper dispenser, & the gents wasn't much better either, the front of house staff was very welcoming, however the waiter was impatient & appeared harassed as he was the only person taking orders & serving food at the time of our visit (Easter Sunday evening), & it wasn't busy either at this time. However the food (& drinks) was delicious (2 courses) but expensive for what it was. We are 3 very disappointed & deflated Liverpudlians from Liverpool city U.K & this was on our to do list whilst visiting NYC.

Tried to book table two months before visit using the website but it required me to send an email and I received an automated response saying someone would be in touch but no response.Sent second email a month later but yet again still awaiting a response to this day. My wife then by chance was able to book online with no issues and this is why its only 4 out of 5. Booked in for Champions League match a $20 dollar per person deposit which if you turn up gets taken off the bill, when our bill turned up unfortunately the deposit hadn’t been taken off and we had to point this out, again this is why its 4 out of 5. Service is good at the restaurant and drinks are topped up regularly, food is very good and good value for money. Shame about the result of the game against Real Madrid but great atmosphere, i would recommend here and would return

First off I am a LFC fan but what ever your team is don’t let it stop you having something to eat or drink here. The atmosphere is great as is the food. If you find yourself in NYC and need a decent meal for a good price then this is the place. Nice feel with LFC and Jamie Carragher memorabilia. YNWA

My partner and I visited for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. He had the Cajun Burger cooked medium well (as ordered). The flavors were great and he was given a generous portion of side salad. I had one of the Specials - Short Rib Tacos. They were delicious. The BLT pasta salad was good too. Service was attentive and friendly.

was in town for vacation checked out a Liverpool game and had a blast, prices were fine (for Manhattan)

Had pasta and a chicken burger and a couple of beers. Good portions were huge and tasty. Service was fine. Decent price too for NYC.

Good choice and quality of food reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and wish I was around NYC long enough to return.

Being a Liverpool fan had to visit here and watch the match (World cup game against Monterrey) Really good atmosphere and good company. The bar has a lot of memorabilia and they have a copy of the champions league cup which you can take photo's with We had good food and drink here people were really pleasant and we had a great day

Went two times to watch the Liverpool matches afternoon and a morning each time very busy .pub has lots of space and plenty of tvs for the footy .Had nachos and chicken wings big portions and a breakfast another time staff nice and friendly place had a good atmosphere for the match . Had a great time also seen Mike Myers actor who was watching Liverpool very friendly gave everyone a photo if they wanted brill .

We booked because we heard so many great reviews. Unfortunately our food wasn’t great, we left a little disappointed but the excellent service made up for what the food lacked! Lovely atmosphere.

Went two nights in a row for an evening family meal whilst in New York. As a Liverpool fan I was excited to see the place due to the obvious connection. Well decked out in Liverpool and Jamie Carragher memorabilia but the bar offers much more. The food was superb and reasonably priced. We had wings, chicken tenders, nanchos and jumbo pretzel. No complaints at all. The drinks were good and I particularly enjoyed the spices margarita. Will definitely be back when I’m in New York again.

Really disappointing - whilst planning a family trip to NY, we booked into Cartagena bar to watch the football match. I checked the refund policy carefully because I knew our schedule was very tight. 3 days later, and still over 1 MONTH before the booking, we decided to cancel because we didn’t have the time to watch a whole football match. According to the website if you cancel before 24hr there is no charge, and after it is $5 per person. We’re a group of three so imagine my surprise when we were charged $30 despite giving so much notice!! I emailed to dispute this and they have simply ignored it. Really disappointing. Won’t be popping in just for a drink as we had planned.

Incredible bar right by the financial area and the bridge. We popped in for lunch. Great selection, service and yummy food!

Visited Carragher's when on a short holiday in New York As a Liverpool fan this was a must see and I loved the atmosphere, burger and big sports screen Maybe a bit pricey but nothing is cheap in New York. Staff were 'ok' ... wearing a LFC top I expected a bit more chat and interest but it was all a bit cold so their tip reflected that ... but still enjoyed our visit

I reviewed Carragher’s two years ago, and then this last fall, as it was Not as good on our second visit. The weird thing is, my first review showed up as Sept. 2019. The review I wrote was Nothing like the first. Maybe my account was hacked, idk. However, this past September (2019), we had reservations, and planned to meet a friend for an early dinner. It was so obnoxiously loud when we sat down, it took us less than five minutes to figure out that we couldn’t possibly stay & expect to be able to actually have a conversation during our meal. We ended up making reservations at another restaurant a few blocks away. Carragher’s has become a loud, obnoxious, horror show of a place.

Went into Carraghers to watch a match (it had been cancelled) so stayed for breakfast, excellent food, fantastic Irish girl behind the bar and the decor is spot on. Loads of room with 2 pool table rooms, was a bit pricey as per the area it is in but no more than other bars. Would definitely recomend, we returned for evening meal and the food was just as good. Nachos were outstanding....

An awesome British pub with amazing food and atmosphere. I highly recommend the burgers. We loved it so much we went twice during our weekend in NYC.

Good location in the financial district. The food was average, and the service a little slow. The atmosphere was good. A good place to catch sports on TV. Good selection of channels and games.

Highlight of the year, was visiting carraghers place on a Friday afternoon, and watching Liverpool beat Southampton. The place was electric, packed and crazy. We were on my friends 50th birthday celebration, spending 4 night's in Manhattan. Not all the group were reds, most where city fans but what a day, the only negative was Man city winning the FA cup the following day.

Great time at this establishment, drinks were plentiful, not as pricey as some NYC bars, easy to see TV screens, comfy seating. The food though was absolutely fantastic twelve out of ten, I had the kebab, which was different to other ones I've had, but was tasty, fresh, hot and just overall perfect. My hubby had a 'carragher' burger, very fresh, tasty, hot and succulent. Well worth the money and time spent, great shop to get liverpool items as well.

Visited on Tuesday afternoon for dinner and drinks. As you would expect the bar is bedecked with LFC pictures and collectables. Staff are really friiendly and the food and drinks were all fine. Good selection and good quality. Loads of space on different floors so the bar has a good vibe without seeming packed. Easy to find in midtown also.

The staff and doorman were really friendly and polite, the doorman was really great with directions when it was raining hard! Lovely bar, quiet and our teenagers were ok for soft drinks, thank you x we would have gone back for food but ran out of time!

Love this place !!! Everyone from the staff to the people visiting this Restaurant & Bar are very friendly !!! The nearest thing to a real English Pub !! As the Liverpool football Anthem is You'll never walk alone, in this bar you never feel alone !!!!!

So going all the way to NYC the last thing we want to be reminded of was home, but we had a couple of football fans with us, so went to Carraghers. (We also had a copy of the Liverpool Echo for the manager from a friend back here) What a place!!! Memorabilia was excellent, great decor, and really cool feel about the place, must be amazing when sport on t.v Menu was brill! So much to choose from, we had fish and chips, 2 pizzas and a steak sandwich. All utterly amazing!! So so delicious Staff all friendly and cool, and The other half was well impressed with the little goals in the gents toilets! A little bit of Liverpool right there in NYC, we loved it!

Great pub, good food and friendly staff and a must for any Liverpool fans to go and see Big Ears and take in the atmosphere

Worst Liverpool bar I've ever been in. As a Liverpool fan, from Liverpool, over in NYC for a long weekend, I was excited to go to carraghers bar. We got there an hour before the lfc match and sat at the bar at 10:30am (we'd already eaten breakfast and hour earlier.) Ordered a diet coke and my friend was going to order a Guinness but didn't have the chance as the extremely rude barman told me I wasn't welcome as I'd only ordered a coke. We had to order food or alcoholic drinks to sit there and watch the match. So apparently they care more for the money than fans! I've never experienced anything so rude in a Liverpool bar before and I'm ashamed of these so called 'liverpool fans' just doing this for the money! Walked out and will be telling people from Liverpool coming over to NYC not to bother going there.

A must for Liverpool fans in the area. Cool bar with lots of merch everywhere, would be ace to watch the football here. Had the nachos which were ace and were massive actually!

Booked in to watch the game on our trip to NY could not fault the place lots of character, fab staff with table service that checked on you all the time, food was lovely and lots of it! highly recommend for any reds to come whilst in the city home away from home.

My husband and I ate here before a how last Thursday. He ordered red snapper, which he liked, and I ordered the onion soup. It was inedible, it was full of thyme, thyme was floating in the soup, festooned on the handle, all over the bowl. When I finally got the waiter's attention, he took it back and I ordered the soup special, broken burger soup ($7 on the menu). It was adequate, no thyme, but was basically broken hamburgers thrown into a vegetable soup. Our last surprise was that I was charged $12, the onion soup price, because he claimed the portion size was the same, never mind the stated menu price. We didn't care enough to complain, but I would never go back. This place left a bad taste in my mouth, and it wasn't just the thyme.

Really nice bar. Watched there a Football match. Good drinks, nice people and a very good food. Also got some drinks from the house. Highly recommended.

Decent bar with average food - a bit pricey for what was on offer. Would not rush to go back to this place.

Carragher’s was a great pub to visit in NYC. We had a group of 8 and Maura ensured we could have both football games on TV that we wanted to see. Emails to her had quick responses. The food was delicious, beer choices excellent and service prompt. Highly recommend and would go back again when in NYC.

very friendly service; great selection of ales; good menu options; excellent value; the place to be in the city for UK football & rugby

In 17 years of travel to New York City I’ve only had one solid rule, no matter how good it is I won’t go to the same restaurant twice in the same trip. This place made me break my rule. It is just that overwhelmingly good in every conceivable way. From the second, we walked in off the street, each time we were greeted like family and that level of treatment continued through the entire visit. The Guinness, short rib and the fish and chips are by far the best I’ve ever had, and the shepherds pie is as close to the top of the list as you can get. And they most definitely know how to pour a perfect pint of Guinness! This is an oasis in the middle of the insanity that is New York City. The menu is varied enough, and the quality is high enough, that we could eat here every night and have absolutely no regrets whatsoever. And to make things even better, they are extremely affordable. Until next time… and there will most definitely be many more next times!

What a fabulous visit to Carragher's From start to finish we was blown away. The service we received from Niamh and Maura was exceptional. Great choice of draught beers and a menu that really delivers with excellent food. All of this combined with the exceptional service from the aforementioned staff made our visit memorable. Even better when you are a Liverpool fan as all the memorabilia is a treat for any fan of the reds.

After a long and trying day, the food was great! We were greeted by friendly staff and good service. A great sports bar atmosphere and great for families. I had pizza which was very flavorful, and my husband had the steak sandwich which was also great!

Worst establishment in New York. Just left after receiving the worst service ever from Lorenzo. He proceeded to "drop" off our order and NEVER returned until we inquired about his whereabouts 30 minutes later. We were told he was "on break," and they would "find" him. Kids menu came with desert and was never delivered. I recommend avoiding this place @ all cost. We have tried to contact the owner and suspect it will fall on "deaf ears." If you want Meh food and truly horrible service from a staff that clearly doesn't "care" then proceed @ your own risk.

Amazing bar! Fab atmosphere! Sean was amazing even tho only a new member of the team he is very much a huge asset to the bar ….. would recommend for anyone especially the avid Liverpool fan.

This pub is very large, and can be found in the basement of a Wall Street building. It serves the office workers at lunch time. Large menu with an emphasis on sandwiches. We had a good and filling lunch.

Bronagh was absolutely amazing she made our whole trip unbelievable - we ended up going back There at least three times because she was working and she had such good customer service !! Would highly recommend this place customer service and food was amazing !!!!

I’m from the uk but went here for Christmas Day dinner in 2019-mainly cuz although I was on hol, we still wanted a traditional British Christmas dinner & as Liverpool fans, we couldn’t pick anywhere better! We were not disappointed! Craic was great! Staff were so attentive! There was a great atmosphere & the food was fantastic! Was a nice touch to even find Christmas crackers on the table! There was lots of Liverpool fc memorabilia round the room which was great to look at! There were Liverpool matches being shown on the various TVs round the room as well. Really loved this place & the food & drinks were top class! The location was also great & very central to times sq. I’d highly recommend this place - especially if you’re a Liverpool supporter!

came in here with a friend to watch the second half of man utd v arsenal, managed to grab a table with quite a good view of a tv. grabbed some food which I had a burger with bacon on it for around $18, slightly expensive but nyc is but it was big and very nice, comfy place and they also had an array of food named after Liverpool players, barnes, dalglish etc it's in a good location with some other bars including sports ones nearby

This had the feel of a sports bar, long American bar to sit at and good booths to sit at for food. The service was quick, friendly and interactive, food was that good we returned for a second visit in a 6 night stay. All sports screened live with no commentary to watch or not so not to noisy, reasonable prices for New York. Good atmosphere in the restaurant / bar. Gents check out the urinals, see if you can score a goal!!! Plenty of subtle souvenirs to observe as well as a life size European Cup, Allez Allez Allez! :)

Went here with a friend in September. I ordered the cheeseburger which was tasty and the patty cooked just as I asked for.....medium. The chips came in a little frying basket which was quite a nice touch. However the chips were extremely soggy from the oil and were quite off-putting. Overall an average meal for NYC. A lot worse places to go but there was also better places to eat around the area.

Went here last week with my wife as I'm a liverpool fan visiting NYC, really impressed good atmosphere and good food, service very good. Cesar salad really good as were chicken wings. The place is very decepted looks small from outside but it's big inside would go back next time I'm in NYC.

Was in NYC early December for the AJ fight. Went to this bar to watch. We didnt have food as eaten earlier however the food that we saw looked lovely. The bar was absolutely packed. Main bar upstairs and the other bar fowards the back. It was a absolutely fabulous atmosphere. Very friendly and relaxed. Very welcoming and comfy. If ever I am in NY again. Will definitely return.

Visited here for my sons 21st. We had a cocktail and dinner. It was a great lively place, staff were friendly and service was good. Guy on entrance wasnt very friendly but that was the only negative.

We had some business downtown, so after our meeting we looked for a comfortable place to sit for lunch. We found this huge pub, in the basement on a crowded street. Class pub food on a large menu. The food was good, not great but good. And the service was excellent.

We've visited here a few times over the last few visits to NYC and it's never disappointed! We watched the World Cup games a few times there while enjoying a breakfast. We also went on another occasion for a burger - all delicious! All in all, very much recommended and we'll be back!!

As a Liverpool fan I couldn’t resist coming here on our trip to NY. It was a shame we couldn’t be here for a game as the place seems an ideal venue. It’s covered in LFC flags and other memorabilia. Yes the entrance is a bit scruffy but once inside any Red would feel at home. Great selection of beers, huge portions of food and very friendly staff. I have been told bars and restaurants are cheaper in Lower Manhattan than where we were staying in mid town and the cost was a pleasant surprise. Though we couldn’t watch a Liverpool game there are huge sports screens so we were able to see a Steelers victory!

Went in for the Liverpool v Inter Milan game, we were sat at the bar and had a great time drinking and eating while watching the game and having so crak with the bar staff. Even got interviewed for channel 2CBS, which was a big surprise. Good choice of drinks and cocktails, great tasting food and TVs to watch the game all over the place. Highly recommend Carraghers, the atmosphere was great.

Visited recently and great food choices, and portions! Great bar staff and extra good for Liverpool fans! Didn’t see Jamie but definitely re-visit.

As soon as our trip to New York was booked Carragjers bar was on our definite list of places to visit and what a time to visit, the Liverpool vs Man Utd game! We stopped by on the Friday as my wife wanted to buy a t-shirt from Carraghers and we were greeted warmly and given a tour of the pub and was very impressed. We had a reservation for the game on the Sunday and arrived 2 hours early as instructed. The build up to the game was great and the atmosphere made our experience. The service from the staff was 1st class and the food and drink was top notch too. We will be back to New York one day and will definitely be paying Carraghers another visit.

Vision NYC from the UK. Read the reviews and took a trip here. It did not disappoint. Don’t be put off by the entrance and steps down to the bar. This place was fab. Great atmosphere, lovely clean bar and restaurant. The food was good, plenty of choice, service amazing and loads of sport on offer. If you are a Liverpool fan you will love this place.

Great place but the issue here is online ordering of merchandise which I placed weeks ago and hD no response to any emails calls messages anything, I’d appreciate a response on here please as been a loyal customer when visited numerous times

Watched the Newcastle v Liverpool game here a few weeks ago and it was excellent. The atmosphere was unreal and the food was good too!!! Met the co-owner / founder called Mike and he is a really lovely guy. Also, we first ended up at Carragher's in midtown which is now closed! This bar is downtown, not far from Ground Zero. Highly recommended.

OMG!!.I arrived a bit late. A cool guy tried to accommodate my lateness. This guy was so helpful. Nancy, the server had a sincere disposition. Body language is a cool thing and Micheal and Nancy had it in abundance. Only after a great neal and cool view we chatted to Micheal. This may be a business but heart of it is where it is at. I respect these guys and we loved our time there🫡🫡

We visited here 14th July after booking a table and informing them we were coming to NYC to celebrate my hubbys 50th birthday, they said “leave it with us we will sort something”,nothing sorted !!! I had to ask for the music to be turned down as we couldn’t hear each other speak, food was good despite the other issues , we wouldn’t go again as didn’t find the staff very customer focused , disappointing experience

Don't normally review restaurants, but this place just made me laugh. It's a typical British sports bar. Bizarre when stepping off the city street and and seemingly into a different country. Friendly cheer and excellent beer.

We visited on our last day in the city for a meal before we headed back to the airport. The food was nice, little pricey but it's the same everywhere around there. Staff were great. Very helpful and willing to talk to you. I asked about the background to the bar and the waitress gave us the whole story, which was really interesting to me as a Scouser. Great to see some amazing pictures of our beautiful city, that I've never seen before.

Popped in for s bit of dinner and a drink, served by Babu, very friendly and helpful. Great place 👌

If you are a Liverpool fan and visiting New York you must visit this place. Service very good and the food was great. A good beer selection too.

Travelled from Liverpool expecting to enjoy every second, being a lifelong Liverpool supporter, Jamie Carragher is a hero of mine. Started off on a bad note, we booked a table for the Liverpool game, breakfast was a basic game menu, no veggie options. When I asked could they cater for me I was told to "order the eggs and scrape the meat off" so I ended up with 2 pieces of toast, very basic. Was willing to let that slide because the game experience was great, good atmosphere and a good win. However, when it came to paying the bill, they automatically add the tip, no problem as most bars/restaurants do this. We only had big notes and the waitress refused to accept change, meaning we was $3.77 short, we just gave the $80 and she came marching back saying we was $4 short, we argued what else could we do if we didnt have the change? It ended on such a bad note that I won't be willing to go back!! I feel like Jamie Carragher's name will be tarnished if they carry on treating people this way, absolute joke! It's on every Liverpool fan's to do list when they visit New York, so just beware, they aren't the friendliest of people!!!

Brilliant experience here. Watched Liverpool v Brentford as a group of 8 with young children. Really welcomed. Great food (huge portions!), great atmosphere and really friendly staff. Lots of big screens perfect watch the game. Bought a tshirt as we left and a guy (possibly the manager) gave me sons a free pin badge, made their morning. Loved it here, thank you!

Great atmosphere, we were luckily to get a table, didn’t think we’d need to book for a 1pm game but I think we managed to get the last available table. (We even turned up about 2 hours early). Service is pretty quick, my burger was cooked wrong but they quickly fixed it and made a new one, no fuss. Great bar and great atmosphere for an LFC supporter!

Booked an after party for our dance school. Food awful, greasy.awful smell of old burnt oil. Also very dimly lit, looked up at the light fittings to see, grease dust and cob webs, If Gordon Ramsay would have seen this, he would be sick. Also upon arrival our group ordered drinks and we paid at the bar, but as we ordered food, because we did not like the buffet, we had to produce a credit card, even though we said we wanted to pay cash.the staff where very aggressive that a credit card had to be registered. Not a true Liverpool supporters bar, had to also ask several times for a retail list of T shirts and any other items form the manager, Never given. Jamie pull out, no coincidence in this bar. A Liverpool supporter for 55yrs

Just finished a great lunch here. Server Aaron was perfect. Food also on the money. Lamb lollipops delicious and generous. Had lamb gyro special lots of moist tender lamb chunks tasted great. The potato croquettes with black pudding inside outstanding. My guest had fish sandwich special and he enjoyed it. Is it wrong to have an Irish coffee in an English bar? No. It was great also with fresh cream. Yummy.

Ate here whilst staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Express, and didn't regret it. One of the best burger meals that we had during more than 3 weeks travelling in NYC and Montana. They have a great range of real ales, the atmosphere was buzzing and the service was fast and friendly. Go there!

Food was fantastic. Warm friendly. Excellent service by superb staff. Good atmosphere. Clean, comfortable environment

we visited NYC for my sons birthday and being an avid Liverpool fan, I knew I had book a table here. From my sons point o view - he though it was fab - good Liverpool memorabilia, sport on TV, Liverpool murials on the wall, references to LFC everywhere - he loved it!! From my point - food was mediocre, service slow, REALLY REALLY LOUD - so much you couldnt hear each other!! It was a good pub, but not sure id go again.

Great spot to watch the game and get some decent pub grub. Not just Liverpool games but if you want to be among like-minded fans of the greatest team in the world...this is the place to be.

As avid Liverpool fans on holiday in New York we were eagerly anticipating our visit to Carragher to fine and watch the Liverpool / Sheffield Utd game. We were warmly greeted by Michael ( front of house ) who promptly showed us to our table, we ordered drinks and food and that’s where it started to go slightly “ pear shaped “! Food arrived promptly and having eaten probably half of it the mains arrived, I explained to the server we hadn’t finished our starters but he just stared at us blankly, re-arranged the table and “ dumped “ our mains then left 😡. Not wanting to cause a scene we quickly finished our starters and started on the mains. I had the chicken curry which was dry, the rest of the family had different meals which were ok. The table service for drinks was fantastic we never ran dry and the atmosphere was good. All in all a ok time at Carraghers but on our next visit to New York we won’t rush back.

My Husband who has been a Liverpool fan since childhood could not believe his luck on finding Carragher's online as he was very worried about missing the Liverpool games during the Premiership while we were on vacation in New York. So imagine his delight when he discovered that he could view a game at 7:30am (the game was being played in the afternoon in England, time difference) and the place was quite full for that time of eager fans. Carragher's shows all Liverpool games. They had a breakfast menu and we enjoyed some English breakfast which was quite satisfying followed by some beers after. There is something a bit decadent about having beers at 8:00am in the morning. The service was quite friendly and the staff led the crowd in favorite Liverpool songs throughout the match.. We returned for another match another date which was at 1:30 pm and the place was packed. Standing room only. You can make reservations to ensure you get a seat. They also have booths which have their own television screen. But you can see the game anywhere you sit as there are several large screens throughout. Great sports fan atmosphere. Even better if you are a major Liverpool fan.

Had the shepherds pie. It was exactly what I needed. Very nice considering it’s made in a pub in NYC. My complaint was when I came to pay, the server didn’t give me all my change. When challenged, he returned part of it but not all of it. When I challenged him again, he said they didn’t have change. I would have tipped more - actually can’t believe I left any tip at all since the establishment was basically stealing from me. Absolutely gutted as it does all the comfort food I wanted. Sadly, will never return!

Great food choices on the menu, reasonably priced and tasty. Staff were attentive and overall it was a lovely experience - particularly if you are a Liverpool fan.

This is a brilliant bar and a must for any self-respecting LFC supporter who finds themselves in NYC. The Irish food is outstanding. The atmosphere and decor are brilliant, with so many pieces of Liverpool memorabilia to enjoy. Floor staff and staff behind the bar are awesome, so warm and friendly, and have a total credit to the bar. We watched Liverpool vs. Real Madrid game, it's was memorable experience. I was delighted to purchase the bar scarf and will wear it with pride when in Anfield in January.

We visited on a Saturday morning, not too busy and service was good. The breakfasts were typically English and were great value for money. We will definitely return and recommend it to all of our friends.

This place is incredible. If you're an LFC fan visiting NYC, or just a football fan in general, you HAVE to go here. It is amazing. The memorabilia is worth it in itself. The people there are very nice and friendly, and what better place to go than somewhere that is dedicated to one of LFC's all time greats? The pub is lively and shows sport constantly. The drinks are sensibly priced and the guys working there are great. If I ever return to NYC, this would be my go to place!

A must for any Liverpool fan visiting NYC. We ordered burgers, and they were the best ones we had on the trip. The place was full of Liverpool memorabilia, and Carragher had donated some signed shirts. I would recommend going during happy hour as the beer was $5, the cheapest we saw in New York.

saw Liverpool playing at Salzburg. Place was rammed (book a table on match days) and the in-game and half hour afterwards was an ultra- scouse experience. Must be the homesickness but it was more extreme than in any pub back home in Liverpool - just loved it. After all that excitement, drink and singing it was a bit of a shock to emerge and find it was 3pm in the afternoon and broad daylight - surreal but lovely.

If you’re a Liverpool fan then I suppose this bar is a must, owned by Jamie Carragher (Ex Liverpool player) photos and shirts on the walls. I believe when there’s a Liverpool game on it’s the place to be, but you need to book well in advance if you want a table/booth. I asked the staff if we could get in for a game the next day, she said show up very early and you “might” get in and get a place at the bar. The staff were very friendly and kept up with a full glass 👍🏼 there’s also a replica Champions league trophy (not sure if this is always there?) but if you ask you can get a photo holding the trophy, see photos.

What a great staff at this fun, tasty pub! The service was terrific, the atmosphere is lively and loud, but we could easily carry on a conversation . They have televisions with sports on, and we got to watch one game. I recommend the spiked hot chocolate on a cold day. They have a very large number of beers/ales. We did not eat, but we were envious of the nachos that were carried by our table.

Great address!!! At the beginning we went there to have a drink and finally we ate at 11:30 pm with Francky’s cocktail suoers that he tailors (to rum rather than whisky concerning us). Cocktails that he can make himself to adapt to your wishes. Plus Warm Welcoming. The place is atypical with a pub only in the basement. In short I highly recommend, at the top!

Just back from a few days in NYC and managed to watch Liverpool take on Leicester at Carragher’s, we ate there and can say the food was really nice, staff were great, very welcoming and would recommend any Liverpool fan call in to watch a match or just grab a bite and drink. We will definitely go back if we are in town again.

We are massive LFC fans and to watch Liverpool v Sheffield Utd game in Carraghers 23 bar in New York during our holiday was a deffo tick on our to do list. We were advised to book a table as the pub gets packed , weve been her before and in the “boot room” bar close to “ground zero” both bars are a must for all liverpool fans , LFC memorabilia is everywhere , I was like a child in a liverpool time machine. Anyway we were shown to our table , drinks quickly followed , a quick perusal of the menu - food was ordered and delivered , it looked great on presentation and matched up with flavour , the game started the place was packed , and we won 2:0 ( to stay 13 points clear with a game in hand over 2nd place leicester ) great footy banter with fellow LFC fans , plenty of singing , shouting , dancing , cheering it was a brilliant experience .......BUT During the match we enjoyed our food , and drinks then we asked for our bill still buzzing from our win we got the bill ,there was a 20% gratuality tip all ready added to the bill ( $20.20 to be exact ) We queried this saying the tip should be decided by the customer not automatically added , we were told the bill had already been printed at the till , i said i wasn’t going to pay a $20 tip. It took a bit of waiting but in the end the bill was changed. We have been lucky to have travelled to Las vegas , san francisco , LA ,and we have always been given the option of adding a tip not one that is forced on us. See the photo added on the bottom of the original receipt 🧾 the quality of service ( good , excellent and amazing ) increases in value - so the waitress scored herself a excellent not the customer. This TIP issue put a bit of a dampener on our visit to Carras bar , it’s wrong on many levels.

Me and my partner had a meal during the Liverpool match. The food was brilliant and it was a great experience on matchday. If you are a Liverpool fan you should definitely drop by for some food and to watch the football.

Booked for my family for Christmas dinner and receive an email to say they had cancelled it. This is 4 days before Christmas. No recommendations of where else we could go.

We dined at Carragher’s two springs ago. Everything was delicious, particularly the chicken curry (Fabulous). My husband said his burger was one of the best he’s ever had (& plans to go for another one when we visit later this month). Our two muppets (age eleven) loved their kids’ meals. As a Scouser, I felt very at home (my younger self would never have thought it would be possible to find a Liverpool home away from home, such as this-nevermind the whole Fenway group/Boston connection). My solitary “complaint”- is more of a question, really— why, oh, why, is their a plate named after Suarez!? Jayzis. Please make a Sadio Sarnie, or a Robbo Ranch salad, and leave Louis off.

As a red scouser this is a must do in NY. Bar was great but had to wait 40mins for a couple of burgers. Although our waiter apologised the place was less than half full so be prepared on a busy match day!

This is a large friendly bar. Great spot to watch sports. The food is surprisingly good and they have lots of beer on tap. Perfect place to go for Sunday afternoon football. There is a smaller bar upstairs and a nice rooftop. Perfect for meeting friends after work to sit back and relax. Very cheap drinks at happy hour

As a Liverpool fan this was a must visit whilst in New York , but even a non Liverpool fan would like it here. Well equipped bar, great staff, tasty food and at least 5 big screens showing American football, ice hockey, football and many more. A relaxed evening was had by us, felt comfortable and at ease, nice chat with staff and the chance to have a picture taken with memorabilia. If you’re a sports fan and in New York pay carraghers a visit - you won’t be disappointed.

We visited as a group of 4 adults and 2 x 11yr olds for Christmas Day dinner at 5pm. The downstairs bar areas were very busy and noisy = fun! We were seated upstairs where it was quieter but actually nice as we could talk and do our secret Santa! The staff were great, very attentive and quick. The food was good, definitely over-priced for the quantity of the main meal but it was Christmas Day so we didn't have the highest of expectations! It was decorated lovely inside the venue and did feel very Christmassy. I would definitely recommend this place and try it on another visit for a normal meal.

Reservation 5.45pm, 6.15pm went to the bar for our own drinks, 6.25pm ordered food, 7.10pm got starters, 7.25pm told our main order had ran out. 7.40pm got served a cold Xmas dinner Much like LFC full of promise but no substance
Love this place.
I love carraghers bar, having visited on my previous trips to NYC this time we tried it with my daughter. I’m a blue so it’s a bit wierd going here but the staff are so friendly & helpful at the food is great too. See you guys again soon hopefully.
