In town for our first trip to NYC! Found this awesome place ! Authentic Italian Food with Exceptional Service! We had the Manicotti , Clams with linguini , seafood linguini with a dirty martini and a chilled bottle of Moscato! Will definitely return! Thank you for the experience. The Martinez Family

The food is decent. The service is poor. Really poor! The tables are so bunched together, you are literally sitting with strangers. New York is filled with great Italian restaurants. This isn’t one of them. I would advise you to save your time and money and dine elsewhere. Frankly, Little Italy has turned into a bit of a tourist trap. Tourists go to say they’ve been there. Locals avoid the place. I’m one of those tourists who got duped. Stay away!

I was afraid to come across a tourist catch but the staff was welcoming and efficient, the waiters available, my clam linguine dish was really good, very well stocked, as were my friends’ dishes. It’s just a shame nobody speaks Italian anymore!

A full trap, they told us that there was a special menu for 28$ with drinks included. Lately when we went to pay they charged us 42$ per person for things like drinks (50$) that they told us it wouldn’t be charged. Also, the ambient is quite bad because they have a relationship between them based on bullying each other. In conclusion this place is a full trap for tourists, if you don’t wanna get trapped, you can just don’t stop in here.

Friendly staff and good food. The portions were well sized and the meat quality was excellent. The staff were very friendly and not overbearing.

Stopped in to relax and have a drink at the bar. Drinks were average price for New York. Service from the bartender was excellent. Our group had beers and I had a cappuccino that was absolutely wonderful. Good Ambiance in the restaurant. Old world wood panels with good lighting. Nice and relaxing. Didn't try the food, but everything looked wonderful. Definately worth stopping by.

Tourist trap, decent pasta but very expensive wine... and especially an extra percentage if you want to pay by card ,without being informed of course! and a tip imposed.....be careful not to let them leave with your card to pay the bill (yet never seen...). And friendly zero......

We were wondering in Little Italy and stopped here for an early dinner. The atmosphere and food were great and the cost was moderate.

Sorry for delay.. ate here with my wife during a lunch special.. had the chicken marsala. My had the soup and salad. Both of us were very pleased with our food.. price and plate size were adequate for a lunch special . Especially in nyc.. would definitely go back.. staff was kind and knowledgeable about menu and food portions..

I had the Homemade Italian Sausage over Polenta and the Seafood Risotto, and my wife had the Fig Salad and the Bronzino. Every bite of every dish was fantastic!! I only wish that my stomach was bigger so that I could have eaten more!!

Good spot for lunch while strolling through Little Italy. Our server, Vilson from Armenia, was attentive and a good host. The place is tourist oriented, very busy, food OK and in good quantity and they do pour a full glass of wine, unlike other places we dined in Manhattan!

So much fun! We stopped by the bar for drinks and apps and everything was wonderful. Fried ravioli, meatballs - all delicious! Taylor was our server and she was delightful! Such a hidden gem.

I loved it , great food and great service. 10/10 would recomend to friend or family. Probably the best spaghetti I have ever eaten in my life

We strolled through New York and landed at Casa Bella around noon. We took a seat outside and suddenly the singing innkeeper amused us. So he encouraged people A to stop by his place and B the landlord amused us great. And yes, the food was very good. Thank you again.

Visited recently with family. We were sat by a large, extremely noisy group of people. In hindsight should have asked to be moved but was not given the option anyway. Food average and over-priced. Bill came with a whopping gratuity added. I was under the impression that giving a gratuity even in the USA was at the discretion of the customer and I certainly would not have left the amount of money this restaurant felt it deserved. Would not recommend.

While we were at the Feast of San Gennaro, we stopped here for lunch. Although it was crowded, we were able to sit right away inside. The server was okay, but running around like a busy person. We ordered our meals and really enjoyed them. I had Gnocchi with mozzarella and it was good! The bread and butter killed me as I couldn't stop eating it! The meals were great, sevice could have been better but all good. This would definitely be another visit for us when back here. Prices were reasonable too!

Enjoyed a family lunch at Casa Bella. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere inviting. Although the restaurant was full, we were seated quickly. Had a beautiful corner table by the front window (fun for people watching). The waiter was friendly (and funny) and extremely efficient. We enjoyed spaghetti and meatballs, fettucini alfredo, pasta with fresh mozzarella and basil and more. Seafood special was delicious. All the food is tasty and portions are ample. We had many restaurants to choose from and we are happy we made this choice.

I’ve come here for 30 yrs always great service and food. They sit us down know one asked what we want to drink . I had to get a waiter for water. We waited 15 min. Then complained and walked out. Not even we are sorry

Overall good experience. Tight tables and little rushed but good was good and service was good. Appetizers came out quick and artichokes a little tough, salad excellent. The veal and eggplant dish was fantastic, the fried jumbo shrimp and pasta was a little overcooked.

So here we are at the 92nd Annual Feast of San Gennero in Little Italy.Blue sky, crowds of people and a delicious smell of so many different foods cooking in th air. First it’s the Hot Zepplle stand and I get there just as there coming out of the hot oil, so good. We walk and walk and, time for a sausage and pepper hero, the bread is wet from the juice of the onions and peppers but you can’t let anything fall out of that ( work of art ). So we walk, and all that walking really works up an appetite. Now the hunt is on for a restaurant for dinner, every location looked good to stop in, but there was that certain something about Casa Bella that said this is the place, and we were right. We were seated by a friendly host, and waited on by the staff almost immediately, who were also nice. The restaurant decor was beautiful, real Italian looking and the food that pasted our table looked and smelled fantastic. We ordered, and when our food arrived it was plated and presented wonderfully, and tasted delicious. After paying the bill and heading for the exit, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the restaurant. She was a wonderful woman and so concerned about how we enjoyed our experience. Seeing how the restaurant operates, you can tell she has had many years in the business. When you visit Little Italy in NYC you must stop in Casa Bella for dinner. It will be an experience you’ll never forget🍷Bon Appite

We were lucky to have a warm March night to sit outside on Mulberry St. and enjoy our dinner while watching the hustle and bustle of the crowds on a Saturday night. Menu is typical Italian but the home-made pastas are so worth the visit here. We had a big dish of pasta with crab meat & shrimp. The only downside was the group of Millennial next to us that were having a very loud discussion about the number of partners they've had over their short lives, but luckily my 11-year-old was so taken by our surroundings that he didn't pay any attention to the loud conversation! NYC is always an experience! Wine was very pricey, the rest of the menu was what you would expect in this neighborhood. Loved the dinner and will return.

Stumbled upon this place while roaming the streets for dinner. We were seated outside and quickly attended to by Pepe. We ordered dinner and drinks after Pepe offered suggestions. Both were good and a fair price. We would go back, especially to see Pepe!

Had a day exploring Dumbo and lower Manhattan, and after lots of walking, we ended up in Little Italy, so called in here for a quick drink and shared a pizza. Really liked the look and feel to this place. It had a modern, classy vibe and was well air conditioned after the long walk. Drinks service was prompt, food came quickly, straight from the oven and, as you'd expect, a great quality pizza. I managed to squeeze a second beer in, which was appreciated. There was a guy outside enticing punters in, I loved watching him at work. It added to the vibe, the whole experience felt like this is what I expected a Litlle Italy restaurant to be like. Many thanks

Been here thursday night with my dad and my brother. Great food, service, location, live music. Thanks!

EXCELLENT SERVICE & FOOD Over generous portions. The food was outstanding, real home from home Italian cuisine. Keep up the good work!

My husband and I have just returned from New York. Whilst we was there we visted Little Italy. We was both very hungry and fancied some Italian as we have been american dining since we arrived in NYC. We was lured in by the lady who seemed quite pleasant and was seated straight away. We opted for the two course lunch menu which was $16.50 each for a starter and for a main. Whilst waiting for a long time for someone to take our order, we asked the water boy for two drinks (coke), which never arrived. Our starter (Minestrone Soup) was ok, quite small but hey it was on the special board. We both had ordered the Lasagne, when it arrived both mains were luke warm and was not edible, being 25 weeks pregnant, i thought it was best not to risk it and asked the waiter to return both lasagnes and asked for a fresh one that was HOT in the middle. 5 minutes later the waiter returned which looked much better, hot steam was coming from the top of the lasagne. As soon as i cut down in the middle, there was no steam and when i put my finger to touch the middle, it was again, luke warm/cold. By now, i was furious how can they get this wrong for the 2nd time?? I took my plate to the waiter (BTW who has been very rude through out the service) and asked him to take it back, he said the middle part should not be hot and that it being luke warm was ok to eat. I did express to him that I was 25 weeks pregnant and that i was not putting my self or my babies health at risk all becuase they cant seen to heat a portion of lasagne up. We argued back and forth about the temperature of the dish and there was no getting through to him that they was in the wrong and we were in the right. My husband was so hungry that he manage to eat his lasagne, although he felt very SICK within 2 hours after eating this dish. I would NOT recommend this awful, bad service, horrible food restaurant (if you can call it that) to anyone. Would not feed any of the dishes to my dog, that how bad it is! STAY AWAY! this place ruined our experience to Little Italy!

We went there as a family for dinner. Ordered 2 appetizers and 3 pasta dishes. The food was well prepared and tasty but I thought it was overpriced. The caprese salad with 3 slices of tomato topped with thin mozzarella was 12 and the 3 baby artichoke appetizer was 14. The 3 pastas: penne with vodka sauce, spaghetti puttanesca and pesto with chicken ranged from 19-21. With 2 glasses of wine for $26, which was a bit watered down and a little too sweet. I think that entire area is really for tourists, they had guys standing outside trying to get people into the restaurants. The wait service was attentive and fast. Just felt a bit chaotic with all the waiters rushing around.

Up to four times we indicated to the waiter that our son suffered a severe allergy to milk, and we asked if they could make some simple macaroni with Bolognese sauce but without cheese. The waiter told us that they could prepare in that simple way. I asked to write down in the order our restriction to warn the chef and avoid cross-contact and, obviously, the presence of milk. What was our surprise when, finally, we found cheese in the Bolognese sauce. This is the reason why we do not recommend this restaurant if you suffer from any type of allergy.

I had lunch here with friends while visiting little Italy. We sat outside which was lovely as was a nice day. We ordered four small appetisers which were accompanied by salad & breadsticks very tasty. The caprese salad & mozzerlla melts were really good. The restaurant seemed clean & the staff were all polite. We enjoyed our lunch here.

We had booked for a group. We were supposed to have a group menu with a group price. However, once we got there, we were told it wasn't possible. We were offered to eat à la carte, but it was much more expensive. The bill came with an imposed 22% tip! All this for very basic food and very very ordinary service, nothing more. We won't be coming back. On a personal note, I ordered lobster ravioli in which there was only lobster-flavored cheese. A rip-off.

Great service and wonderful pasta! Meatballs and carbonara were first class! Great for sitting outside and watching the world go by!

Great food. Generous portions and genuinely care that you’re enjoying your experience. Very affordable. Add the daily menu and an antipasto.

After a long day of walking we just wanted a drink & to rest for a moment. We were lured in by the Barker! We are used to fine dining (which this place is NOT) & don’t mind paying high prices when it is worth it. The problem here is that we ordered 1 Brooklyn Lager & 1 Jameson on the rocks & the bill was $38. Our water glasses were never filled & we were pretty much ignored. This place is a tourist trap beware!!!

Visited this restaurant with a group of friends during the Feast! I was so impressed by the organization of sitting everyone. I also cannot stress enough how AMAZING the food was as well as the service!! I will definitely be going back soon! A true Italian restaurant experience

Extremely expensive for the amount of food they give you. Watered down ice tea. The Bolognese tasted like a plain meat sauce. Had to ask for more bread and water. Our waiter was probably the rudest I have had. They actually tacked on a tip for a table of 3 because they are afraid they wouldn't get tipped. That's what the waiter told us after we questioned what the $19 additional charge was. Plenty of better places to eat at. Won't return again.

Nice place. Good service. Ask for Velson. Good food and atmosphere in Little Italy. Had manicotti and friend veal.

I went to this restaurant in october with my class. We had a trip to New York and the travel agency sent us to this restaurant since we had a good deal. When we went to the restaurant our deal we found online simply did not exist anymore. Also, the service was not at all professional. There was no welcome, no thank you, no have a good night. There was also a guy in front of the restaurant shouting for people to come in the restaurant. They also obliged us to give a 22% tip. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Wonderful, casual/cozy Italian restaurant right on mulberry. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was decent, there martinis are excellent... we had the espresso martini- absolutely delicious! We would go back here to eat!

This was a great stop. We enjoyed happy hour wines in the open air area. Could people watch at the same time. We were tourists but it was a regular stop for locals who greeted each other time and time again. We were served bread and bruschetta before ordering and we not rushed. Meals are reasonably priced and good tasting. Would recommend reservations because we were able to walk past those waiting on the street

We were looking for an Italian meal 🥘 After a day of sightseeing... Granite showed us some menus and invited us in for dinner. We had 6 excellent meals! The fettuccine with olive oil/garlic was fabulous, as were the sausage/peppers/onions, the lasagna, spaghetti & meatballs, and the pizza. Everything we tasted was great ... we had to keep sharing items around the table. Very good dinner ... we recommend you try it!

What a gem in Little Italy!!!! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly staff and delicious food and drink. Prices were on point and the atmosphere was fantastic. We always try and find a new restaurant for dinner each time we come into the city, but I will be back on December 14th with my family. I recommend Casa Bella 100%.

10 people, made a reservation, was put on a hill with absolutely no room. was then put inside, dark corner, warm beverages, small portions, water spilled on us, slow service.

Myself and my family had dinner at Casa Bella twice during our trip to New York. Both times the service was wonderful and the meals were amazing. I personally have to be on a strict Gluten free diet due to allergy and I'm happy to say the Gluten free pasta was amazing and defiantly 100% gluten free.

Great service. Great food. Fresh sea food and service. Requested chicken piccata. not on the menu but server said absolutely. ! Thank you casa Bella for AWSOME dinner and experience.

Visited here today with a party of 6. We had pizzas, Alfredo and carbonara . Food was good and it’s a nice restaurant in little Italy. Reason I didn’t give a 5 and almost gave a 2/3 was the toilets. Management need to sort, not what you expect in a restaurant!!!

We stop here every time we're in New York, usually two to three times per year and usually stop twice per visit. We stopped this evening and things have gone way down hill. The service was TERRIBLE. We received better service from another server than our own, he kept disappearing. Usually service is good, but not anymore. The food was horrible. Again, its usually great, but not anymore. After this terrible experience, we will not be back.

We didn`t call for reservations, and they were extremely busy. They still were able to seat us quick within 10 minutes. First time here, and all the restaurants in Little Italy were very busy. I had the fettucine alfredo, and my husband had the chicken with vodka sauce. Both came out fast, and were very good. Service also very good, and fast.

Very pleasant surroundings. Food was excellent. Service very good. Watch the world go by from the large glass door/windows or if the weathers good sit outside.

Skip it!!! I went to the restaurant with other students on a school trip. Before arriving, a group price had been agreed with the restaurant. When we arrived, they were unaware of this request and made no effort to find a compromise. So we ordered on the menu. The service was not really good, and the waiters weren't smiling. What a pleasant surprise when we saw the bill. It was already impossible to pay separately, and the tips were added after the taxes !!!! We had no choice of taxes: 20%! This is enormous for the service we received and there was no way to negotiate with the waiters. Really disappointed with my evening.

Great location to sit and watch the people pass by little Italy as you have drinks and relax. 👍🏽👍🏽

On a recent trip to NYC was lucky enough to be staying within walking distance of this amazing place. Ate there 2 out of 5 nights and if I were staying longer probably would have made further visits. Waiters extremely friendly serving excellent traditional Italian meals. Most definitely worth a visit if anywhere near Little Italy.

Service and food okay but nothing very impressive. The Margarita pizza was simple but ok. We were in a group and we were all forced to tip 22%!!! when the service was clearly not up to this amount. Very unpleasant managers and a gentleman at the front who shouted in the street to attract tourists. We were clearly taken for hams. Place to avoid for tourists

The food is HORRIBLE (NOTHING like Italy, and I should know). The prices are high and include a tip (which price is exorbitant and exaggerated). WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT ORDER SPAGHETTI PRIMAVERA, the vegetables are frozen and cover the whole pasta. Bathrooms: one, gender neutral, with no lights, dirty. Environment: no air conditioning, cars honking constantly in the background. 1/10 would NOT recommend.

Was walking south along Mulberry, resisting the come ons from the various places. Was tempted by one, very crowded, attractive prices as another busload of tourists was ushered in. Decided against, wisely so. As we headed south, choices diminished, felt hungry, another come on from this place, this time gave in. Glad we did. Prices here are a couple dollars more but the food is superb. Plus none of the bedlam of the other cheaper places. Gluten free pasta is exceptional and the primavera vegetables fresh and cooked nicely. Eggplant parm, again, more expensive, but quite tasty. Next time in Little Italy we'll head right to this place.

Food is like a family meal, cheap but for the quality and quantity way too expensive, rather would have a street food. Service is unprofessinal, the water guy asked 'This one is good (pointing on the tap water) or you pay for the other?' , that was the introduction. The waiter's 'kidness' couldn't change the first impression. The busboy was the only positive experiance, he was cheerful and nice.

I was walking down the street and this gentleman asked us if we would love to eat at the restaurant. I looked at the menu and I said OK. It was absolutely amazing. The food was so delicious. The customer service was amazing. I would absolutely come here again this is my new favorite place.

I make the BEST lasagna in the world, bar none! My aunt, who is 100% pure Italian, taught me how to make it. When my kids come to visit or I go to visit them they beg me to make my lasagna. When we go out to eat I seldom order lasagna anymore because I am spoiled by mine...Until now! WoW! It was amazing! All the food was amazing as was the service! I bow to the new "Best Lasagna ever King." Thank you for a great lunch! We will be back!

We went to Little Italy looking for a sidewalk place that had good food. We were not disappointed in CaSa Bella. The service was very attentive without being pushy and the food and wine were reasonably priced and excellent. I had the Caprese Salad (very generous with the mozzarella and olives) and the Veal Picatta. My husband swooned over the Minestrone Soup and loved the Tilapia and Shrimp. We shared a bottle of montepulciano d'ambruzzo and Limoncello cake with raspberries. The singer was a real treat and he really attracted people to the restaurant. People walking down the street were singing along. Great fun.

Wife has one of the lunch specials with the minestrone soup. The soup was excellent and the chicken with penne pasta was excellent as well. I had the ravioli and it was sooo good! The service was what I was expecting it to be, typical Italians and it was excellent. No need to smile or do anything fancy, they take good care of you and treat you with respect.

Food was great. Bread fresh. Calamari tender. Bolognese and meatballs were delicious as was eggplant parmesan. Best was veal parm. We’ll all be back.

The door man/singer lured us in just after entering little Italy. The air condition was non existent where we were seated (near the out door entrance/sidewalk, but the food was pretty good. I'm not mad at eating here, but there may have been better options.

Truly not happy with this one. The restaurant has two pizza options and it does not look Italian! No variety on what is truly Italian. About 7 pastas and 2 pizza choices. More meat than anything else, which sucks for a vegetarian. The taste of the pasta I ordered is salty and is not good. Literally tastes like canned tomato sauce. One out of the two pizza options looks American more than anything else and has pepperoni in it. Not even the bread was good to me. Do better.

There are many fine eating places in the Little Italy area of NYC and this is one of them. Great home made pasta, large helpings, friendly and efficient service all combine to make this a must eatery.

My wife and I stopped in on a hot day. We did not eat, but had a bottle of wine. Nice place as not may restaurants in Little Italy have a bar to sit at.

Went here for dinner Monday evening. We walked up and down the Little Italy streets and all the Italian Restaurants had guys calling you to eat at their restaurant (this was somewhat annoying). I now think this was a good sign that they are competing for your patronage. I think it was good we were there on a Monday. Weekends might be too crowded and hard to get a good service, meals, etc. Cut to the chase, the price for food and drinks seemed high but probably average for NY and the area. For dinner, expect to spend $25 to $40+ per person without drinks (add $10 to $20 for drinks).

Hi everyone, this was the 2nd restaurant I tried in little Italy in my recent trip to NYC. I hoped that my experience was as good as my first however unfortunately it was not. We were ushered in by a smooth talking concierge. We ordered an antipasto, spaghetti carbonara and the veal. The food was not very nice at all. The only thing I really liked was how the veal was cooked. All the wait staff were quite sloppy even hearing one of them complaining constantly. I must admit I believe I met the owner who was an elderly woman and I must say she was lovely. Apart from that I would not recommend this eatery.

It didn't take long before we stumbled onto this place. The atmosphere is very nice, friendly staff and the food is absolutely delicious with good portions at a descent price. If you are in the area, give it a try!

My wife and I just decided to step in because we couldn’t decide where to eat. The food and service were excellent. Portions were very good for the price.

The hospitality was nice. Food was fresh and the drinks were good. We traveled from Michigan and I’m happy that we stopped here.

The food was amazing and we had a great time! The people that work there are very nice and made the experience better!

One of 30 or 40 restaurants along Mulberry Street. Very pleasant ambience. Most restaurants offer similar fare so watch for the house specialties. Had lasagna which was well portioned and filling for any appetite. House bolognese sauce seemed to be the fave of most around. Make sure to ask for the house made noodles. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Wonderful experience.

Located just at the entrance of Little Italy, this restaurant has a large terrace on the street and cannot be missed. The place seems to mostly attract visitors to the neighborhood, it did not seem that the locals hang out here. The food was good and fairly priced; a Ceasar Salad, Ravioli and 2 glasses of wine for just 76.50, gratuity included. Prompt and friendly service, clean. A good place to rest your feet after having strolled through Chinatown and to have a bite before moving on.

We came to this restaurant in little Italy in New York City with the hope of enjoying a fast, filling and affordable dinner. To be honest, the restaurant acomplished this perfectly. The food here is decent, but this is not the aim of this review, this review is one of honesty and human nature. But let's start with the food, that is, forgetable. The portions are quite generous, the pizza crust not home made, neither the marinara sauce that barely covered the pasta dish. But this was expected, and even though overpriced, did it's job in providing our bodies with calories to pass the night. This restaurant was meant to be forgotten by the next day. Now for the review, for the sad and sickening story of attempted theft and dishonnesty. When the bill came, tax was added as was a 20% gratuity with the toal of this added up at the bottom. Adding the gratuity is sometimes done and this is not the point. We used a large bill to pay and a lot of small bills were returned to our table, without the check. We counted our bills, counted again and noticed that 10 dollars were missing. Probably an honest mistake. We asked our waiter who took the money and disapeared for several minutes. He then retunred with the check that had seen it's total modified, by 10 dollars. How stupid do you think we are? We've caught you once, we are now going to pay extra attention to this check! After a short exchange, some quick maths and a ridiculous attempt to con us again, a "I must have made a mistake" was mumbled and after several long minutes, he returned with the correct change. Not so much as an apology was uttered from this man's or anyone else's lips. This is a truly disgusting diplay of dishonnest work and I dare not imagine how many clients have been conned by these revolting people. I add that we were a party of 4 with 2 small children and it makes this story only sound worse. If you want average italian cuisine, please go here by all means, it is not a bad restaurant, but count your change before leaving and remeber that the tip is included in the check!

Ate here Sunday April 29th. We had time before our flight home,so, we had a late lunch here. One person had pasta Carbonara,I tasted it ,very good, and, served hot. I had Chicken Alfredo. Itb was delicious. Fresh white pieces of chicken in a home-made sauce, very tasty, The pasta was al dente. Done perfectly.. My sister had seafood pasta in a red sauce. She said it was good. For beverages we had beer ,and, wine.. They had a lunch special ,pasta and soup or salad for $15.00 The host Johnny from Albania was a "riot".. Nice time here...

Avoid this place . Service was horrible. Wine was obviously mixed with water. A diarrhea guaranteed place . Moreover the blond lady who was manager or owner extremely rude.

Great experience and delicious food. I had the best Gnocchi in alfredo sauce. Staff very attentive. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful dinner at Casa Bella, in no small part due to our server Amadeo who went out of his way to accommodate our requests. The seafood salad entree was excellent, our mains of Angus beef and a simple margarita pizza with prosciutto crudo very good. The service, food and atmosphere made for a very enjoyable evening.

Food was okay, nothing special like I expected for a restaurant on the Main Street of Little Italy! Prices on the menu don’t include tax. Not sure if that’s the norm?! Asked for a side of fries. Not on the menu. The cost was over $14 +tax!

We were just walking in Little Italy looking for a good restaurant. I wanted pasta Amatriciana. We did not see it on the menu here at Casa Bella. There was guy outside wanting us to go in. One of the servers, who we later learned is Vilson, came outside and told us they would make it for me and I could have any pasta I wanted with the Amatriciana sauce. We went in and were so very glad we did. Vilson went over the top making sure I would have what I wanted. He actually brought out a plate with a specific pasta that I’d never heard of. We shared a Caesar salad that was one of the best I’ve ever had. Vilson brought the salad and split it between the two plates. He went way above and beyond his job description to make us happy and feel welcome. I’d go back there in a heart beat. The food was outstanding and the service could not be beat. Thank you so much Vilson! You’re the best.

Excellent drinks, food and service. A gem among the touristy restaurants in Little Italy. Definitely will be back. We had the fried calamari, veal marsala, white clam sauce with linguine and sautéed broccoli. All delish. Dirty martini and espresso martini were perfect and well priced. This place is wonderful!

We were fortunate to stumble upon on this restaurant and had a terrific meal with our friends who were visiting from Denmark. Everything was superb and exceeded our expectations. Service was excellent.

There were six of us having lunch. The service was fine, the restaurant was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our lunch was fine with a few exceptions. My daughter ordered Chicken Alfredo, the chicken was way over cooked. My niece ordered Shrimp Alfredo, they up-charged $10.00 for the shrimp without mentioning the additional charge. I had a Salmon salad, the Salmon was a little over cooked but not ruined. My sister-in-laws Lasagne and Pizza were both very good.

A wonderful restaurant for a family meal. Attentive service and delicious food makes for an experience that should be repeated time and time again.

Went with my family for late lunch last Wednesday. We ordered main courses only...carbonara, bologonese, fettuccine, pizza and linguine with clams. All meals except the linguine with clams were very poor. We ordered a taxi as it was raining....were told that the taxi would arrive in 10 mins at a fixed price. 40 mins later ....no taxi so we left and walked in the rain until we could flag one down This place is a tourist trap with poor food and service. I would not recommend it.

I have lunch here with 3 colleagues. Lunch acceptable but, when paying, issues start. Cards declined, not accepted and finally took one. 7 dollars added with no reasons. When asking for explanations, then none did have an answer. The funniest one: “the machine added automatically”. That’s a FRAUD. Stay away from this place. Many other restaurants have better food and are way more honest.

We we exploring china town and little Italy and came here by chance. The service was excellent and the food was pretty good too! We has pizza, carbonara, meat balls and bolognese all of them were pretty good.

Walking down mulberry street in little Italy, I was looking for a menu with stuffed shells. Not to be found. Andre was standing in front of Casa Bella (127 MulberryStreet) “flagging” people to come in for lunch. (I normally avoid these people like the plague!). He mentioned they have fresh homemade pasta - I asked if they had stuffed shells - he said “No” with a disappointed look on his face. Then he brightened up and said we have cheese manicotti - that’s close. So I gave it a whirl. They were wonderful - manicotti done to perfect and more than enough cheese. Definitely satisfied my craving for stuffed shells. The bread and dipping oil was to die for - hated leaving most of it in the basket - but after my meal I was stuffed. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. Only negative - skip the espresso - wasn’t impressed.

Walking on little Italy and deiced to taste the Italian food on little Italy. I had an amazing egglplant parmigiana over linguine. Service was good and the staff very friendly.

Nice staff and very good service. The pasta is absolutely really good. But the pizza is a catastrophe! Up warmed and not made from scratch!! Sad!!

My friend and I have eaten here twice and it is absolutely to die for!!! Best Italian food ever and portions are huge. We know in little Italy there are so many option but this place is great. The staff is friendly and efficient and for what you get it is reasonably priced. The chicken Parmesan is phenomenal!!!! The staff is authentic Italian and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The restaurant is on a corner and it is a great experience!

Waiter service fine, but when it came to charging came the stick, $42, for three drinks, which could be $80 to pay $156, a robbery, don't stop eating here if you don't want to be fooled.

We were there on June 2, 2025. We actually just wanted to have a look at Little Italy when we walked past Casa Bella. Here we were asked in a very friendly manner if we were hungry. We had a very good meal. 3 courses for 21$. It was all very tasty. Thx that's how fun it is to eat in NYC.

Came down to this restaurant on St Gennaro feast. It was a bit crowded but got seated right away. The food was fantastic. Ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese which was fantastic. My wife ordered the Spaghetti With Meatballs which she liked. Wished they had a smaller size of Sangria pitchers (since nobody i was with wanted to have) but it was really really good. Would definitely return, even on St Gennaro feast again. It was really worth it

Took 40 people there for lunch yesterday and they were fast, friendly, and we'll priced. The $15 deal with a salad and fresh bread is a great deal. I enjoyed the lasagna and the place is beautifully designed.

Every time we come to Little Italy we always end up eating here. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and its very reasonable in price. We love eating outside and people watching while also enjoying the atmosphere. Its a must!

Absolute awesome experience with Dawn and her staff. The hospitality was outstanding, food was great and our experience was excellent!! Thankyou Dawn Chantal and Andrew

We arrived at about 9 pm for dinner, after a busy day being tourists. We chose the restaurant based on the nunmber of diners, and were not disappointed! There was complementary sour dough - we couldn't fit it all in! My daughter and I chose to share a Fettucini alfredo and a tricolour salad - both were delicious, and meant we had space for dessert. The servings are quite generous! At the waiter's recommendation we both chose tiramisu, which was beautifully light and tasty - there's no way we were sharing this!!! The food was great, and we coudn't fault the service - we may have arrived wearing Big Bus ponchos, and did not order up big, however we were still made to feel very special. Would love to return next time we are in NYC.

We came to this restaurant on a walk through Little Italy and after looking through the menu, decided to go in for dinner. We were glad we made this decision as the food was delicious and very well presented. The restaurant was spotlessly clean throughout and also very well presented. Anyone choosing to go here to eat will be delighted they went to Casa Bella.

I dined at the restaurant with a group of friends, and I had an absolutely dreadful experience, and I'm not exaggerating. We were promised fresh, Italian chef-prepared food, which could have justified the higher prices. However, the servers were distant, frequently rolling their eyes and audibly sighing. They delivered the bare minimum and added a 22% tip on top of taxes. The meal was disappointingly mediocre; the pasta was both sticky and tasteless. What's more, they refused to accept coins, insisting on bills only, and made us consolidate the bill into a single payment. In my view, it's the absolute minimum to properly accommodate a sizable group of people spending in your restaurant. When it came time to pay, the server appeared annoyed as we divided the bill, even shouting in Spanish. In short, I would recommend saving your money for a restaurant that truly deserves it.

The Italian Restaurants on Mulberry are a scene. All of them have outside tables optimized for good weather and people watching. Friendly staff and all the kids favorite dishes on the menu.

Spend time in Italy and thought it would be nice to go to Little Italy in New York for the New Year's appears to be very authentic variety of different foods with friends and family...reasonably priced...

My family and I headed to Chinatown for some purse shopping and dinner in Little Italy. The "fake word" on the street is that the Italian food in Little Italy isn't the best. Well they are wrong. Not only it is it awesome, it comes at an affordable price. Casa Bella has street-side seating, plenty of help to fill your water and serve you. Every dish we had was wonderful with robust flavors. Adameo was our server, always with a smile and making sure we had everything we needed.

I’m Italian by heritage and a bit of a. Snob when it comes to good Italian food. This is a do not Miss especially if it’s a special night out and you want to enjoy every morsel. Calls ahead but the wait is worth it if you have to wait a few minutes for a table.

The food is fine despite needing way more vegetarian creativity. However, and I am not sure if this is usual, but a manager / owner guy constantly hawking passing traffic and tourists (we get it, it is a competitive strip), making audible comments and back-chatting some of those who are not interested is not actually fun for the diners eating to witness.

Our meal was incredible! I had the four cheese spinach ravioli which was a generous portion, not the five large-ish ravioli you get at some places. My friend had the eggplant parmigiana and said it was the best she’d ever had. (We’re both from Italian families!) Our server was wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable. Loved our meal “inside” by the open terrace. Definitely recommend!

In the middle of Little Italy, we came into this one instead of others because it was the only one with “menu”. Staff was great from start till end, someone took care at all times of our table (Water, orders...). Food was normal for prize and size (Dish Carbonara 14$ and the menu 15$), drinks were quite expensive, 8$ for a Brooklyn Lager. The restaurant was good located, clean, etc.

After 30 minutes of waiting and requesting to be able to order 10 times that we are told wait a second , we got up and went out to forget

We ate some Pasta and one Antipasti platter... everything was delicious... nice atmosphere in the restaurant...

We were on a walking tour which took us into Little Italy. Service was pretty good. The food was excellent! I had the lunch special - lasagna & my sister had the ravioli w/meat sauce. Good size portions. We eat it all. Reasonably priced for the amount of food. I forgot to take pictures. I was too busy eating.

Food is excellent, consistent, moderately priced($13-$20). Service was very good, authentic Italian waiters. My wife had chicken marsala, loaded w mushrooms. I had spaghetti and meatballs which would make nona proud. We'll be back~!

Very good Italian restaurant on Mulberry street a block north of Canal. Great service and moderately priced. Wonderful for families as well as couples. The gnocchi is handmade and superb. Got to try it. Service is attentive and prompt and there was no waiting to be seated. The menu is purely Italian and there are many delicious choices. We will definitely be back !

There are many restaurants in this area inviting you to enter. One was so aggressive that we were not able to read the menu in peace, so we continued on. When we got here, we were left alone at least long enough to see the menu. Then, Gianni approached with a fun and kind disposition. That did the trick. We were not disappointed. It was all good and we were treated well.

My wife and I stopped in here while shopping around Little Italy and Chinatown. The restaurant was nicely decorated and pleasant. The staff was also super friendly. I ordered the linguini with clam sauce and it was exceptional! I read some of the negative reviews and have to disagree. I have also been to several regions in Italy (Roma, Venezia, Napoli); the food was authentic and outstanding here and priced fair. I saw some folks pay more for their street cart gyro than my pasta with fresh clams. Give this place a try!!

I'm not an expert in NYC Italian food, but I know a thing or two about Italian food from Italy. This was pretty good for NYC Italian food. The linguini with clams was really good; the chicken parmigiana and eggplant parmigiana were good. A bit greasy, but the sauce was very complex and balanced, and the mozzarella of good quality. Nice ambiance and service. So no gourmet or mind-blowing food here, but a perfectly enjoyable Little Italy restaurant.

Sorry it took me so long to write this! We hosted our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner here early this month in the private dining area upstairs! The staff had everything set up beautifully and took care of our guests from start to finish. The food and drinks were delicious! Our group of about 25 had a great evening and kicked off the wedding weekend perfectly!

We loved it here at Casa Bella! What really caught our eye was how beautifully decorated it was on the outside. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Highly recommend getting their Rosé Sangria, meatballs as an appetizer, and Cheesecake for desert. I wish we would have eaten here sooner as tonight is our last night. Will definitely visit again!

Great pizza rustic and spaghetti bolognes. Great for the family. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Best part of NY trip.

Great food!! Great service! Gnocchi was delicious and the fireball martini fabulous! I would recommend this place to anyone!

My daughter and I were visiting NYC last week and literally stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering down the streets of "Little Italy". Having been to this touristy location before, we were aware the pushy sales pitches to come patron every patio down the next few blocks were about to come our way. I usually rely on open table or trip advisor to direct me while travelling, but after observing the completely EMPTY and sad ambiance that surrounded IL Cortile, where we originally decided to dine, we were instantly drawn to the lively atmosphere surrounding Casa Bella. They have a lunch special for $15 that can't be beat. Two course meal, and the portions are VERY generous. We started with the steamed mussels in white wine sauce. Let me preface this by saying, we live on the ocean in California, making seafood a main staple to our dining experience, and the mussels we had at Casa Bella were BY FAR the largest, most AMAZING I've ever had. Next we had a house salad followed by Rigatoni Capresa which did NOT disappoint. Again, portions were large enough to share. I had one of their specialty martini's AND tried the house Sangria. Both delicious. Last we had a gigantic slice of tira-misu which was decadent. On top of the food being amazing, and the restaurant being beautiful inside, it was the SERVICE that made our lunch a five star experience. Our waiter, AMADEO, was constantly at our disposal, and made recommendations that were exactly what we were expecting. We were so impressed, I told him I would be requesting him when we return this summer! He said he has worked at this location for over a decade and you could tell he sincerely loved his job, which always translates to great service. All in all, we could not have had a better lunch experience than here at Casa Bella. And we will DEFINITELY be back!

Had the "special" which was choice of two or three appetizers and choice of two or three entrees. Great value and delicious food nicely presented. Sat outside on Mulberry Street to people watch. A very nice experience. Excellent service. Manager came to each table to check on diners and their satisfaction.

Had dinner here during the San Gennaro's Festival because we wanted to sit down. A small sausage and pepper platter was $20 when I could have gotten a better one as a sandwich right outside for 1/3 that price. My friend was also disappointed with her dish. The service was very slow. We wasted a lot of time there. You have to go to a second floor for the restroom and it was very small and crowded for a restaurant that size in both the bathroom and the seating arrangements. I kept banging my elbow against the table that holds the champagne container and my friend kept hitting her elbow against the support column. I would not go back again even if the food was free. The white sangria was the worse I ever had and I have had in many places - FYI the best I ever had was in Chile. Wasn't that good quality-wise either. Very disappointing.

On our recent trip to NYC we were walking past this place when Johnny asked us if we wanted a place to eat. Apparently all Italian restaurants in little Italy are not authentic Italian. He told us it was a good place to eat. We were sceptical as it was his job to get people to eat there but as we were looking for somewhere to eat we thought why not. He wasn't joking! The food choice is great and it arrives at your table hot which is not always the case with pasta dishes. We love Italian and this place was so good we decided to go back at the weekend with our son and his partner as it was his birthday. That Saturday night it was raining cats and dogs and Casa Bella was full to the rafters. We sheltered under the big umbrellas they have outside and Johnny promised a table as soon as possible. He entertained us with funny stories and the time soon passed. When we got inside and was shown to our table we thought, oh no this might not be as good tonight, there were so many people and usually that means food gets pushed out so fast they don't care if it's right or not. NOT SO!! We ordered drinks, then our food. Amadeo our waiter was really busy but he was still very attentive. There was no more of a wait for our food than mid week. We had pizza to start and all had a different pasta dish for main course. It was absolutely gorgeous, no need to have worried at all. The owner, a lovely lady named Bitsy, came over to make sure everything was ok. We told her everything was really nice and how much we were enjoying our meal. She was so humble and grateful for the positive feedback. We' d mentioned we were celebrating our sons 27th birthday to Amadeo earlier, as we'd ordered a few ballinis, which by the way I thoroughly recommend. He wished him a happy birthday and was joking with him about his age. We ordered desserts ( the raspberry and lemon one was to die for) and coffees and when they arrived Bitsy, Amadeo and some other staff brought them over and sang happy birthday. There was a candle in the birthday boys piece. It was such a lovely thing to do and well worth a good tip just for the look on our sons face! When we asked for the bill there was a dessert missing off the total. Bitsy had bought my sons. Such a nice touch. If you only eat out once whilst you're in New York make it at Casa Bella. You won't regret it. Thanks Bitsy, Armadeo and not forgetting Johnny for a lovely evening and a birthday to remember.

We walked into Little Italy to look for a nice italian restaurant. Casa Bella looked promising. Friendly people at the door and it seemd a good atmosphere. We were wrong. Serviced by a rude, unpolite waiter (Wilson). Did not give us enough time to order, spoke rude and in a commaning way. Other people in the restaurant at that time had the same experience. We were all looking at each other and were stunned. The other waiters did there best to set things right but Wilson really spoiled the evening. It’s best to avoid the restaurant as long as he works there.

Great, delicious food, below average service, ran down building with no improvements, very affordable prices. I would definitely got back.

Pasta was made perfectly, true Italian personalities. Loved the guy outside and our waiter. Sitting here as I’m writing this. Cute inside, clean bathrooms. Nice to people watch and eat at the same time.

BEWARE: Discriminates against people who are protected under ADA law. A nice gentleman begged my family to come in to eat, then they refused to allow my daughter to dine there because she has a service dog. I explained he was medically necessary and offered to provide papers proving his necessity (though legally we are not required to carry them). He made no noise, no disruption, and merely entered the restaurant by her side, on leash. We were immediately refused a table by an older lady with blonde hair named Bitsie . She wouldn’t even discuss the situation, just refused to see the papers, and said that she could by law tell us to leave. Typically, yes, I would agree she could refuse service - but it is illegal to refuse admittance to a person who is accompanied by a service animal, on that basis alone. The actions by this restaurant are discriminatory. They should be prosecuted, fined, and educated so others aren’t treated this way. Please note: Over the last four days my daughter’s service dog has been welcomed by American Airlines, the 9/11 Memorial and museum (where security approached us specifically to express how impressed they were with his behavior), the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island ferry and monument, the Majestic Theatre for a play, and countless restaurants/attractions throughout Manhattan. Casa Bella has been our only negative New York experience.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with any restaurant on Mulberry Street ... but this time we ate at Casa Bella. It was great! As we approached the restaurant a tiny woman enthusiastically wooed us over to the menu board and told us about the Lunch Specials. I joked with her about being the same size as my tiny wife (who is also Italian). We would have eaten outside but it was SO HUMID — we sat at a table inside, near the window — but in the air conditioning. Ahhh, it felt so good and it's a very nice environment. The restaurant was busy but not CROWDED, which was perfect. All of the servers were terrific and very attentive. We all got glasses of water and of course bread for the table. We also all picked something from the Lunch Specials menu. For $18.95 you could choose Bruschetta or a Salad AND an entree of Rigatoni al Pomodoro, Lasagna, Spaghetti Bolognese or Mozzarella Salad. We all enjoyed our meals and to be honest... no one could finish theirs, except me! Big portions and a great deal if you order one of the lunch specials. Delizioso!

Very good pizza! Waiter was nice. Owner was outside front of the restaurant trying to get you inside. He was nice, took picture with him. He talks fast :) Very good experience.

Very authentic Italian food. Pasta was al dente, sauces were robust, not salty or overcooked. Great bread and ambience. Each of us had a different pasta dish, my wife's gnocchis were fantastic. I would eat here again. Our service was very good. The only negative here is that there is a LOT of pot being smoked in the area which diminished the experience. Customers & staff should not be smoking where people are eating.

Our daughter wanted Italian food for a late lunch so we took her to Ca Sa BELLA. We were seated quickly and our order was taken promptly. The bread was delicious with some nice dipping oil. Our food was tasty, but the waiter was MIA (missing in action). Getting his attention became tiresome. The waiter was not friendly nor attentive. When we did get his attention while he was conversing with an employee, he looked up and said just a moment. Obviously, that conversation was more important. He frequently went back to the same spot conversing with somebody. My water glass was empty half way through the meal and remained empty. My wife wanted more oil for the bread, but that could not happen without service. A second waiter appeared and tossed some desert menus on the table and quickly dashed away. All of our glasses were clearly empty, so I told my wife and daughter we would get desert somewhere else. I was not going to invest any more time or money in this restaurant. The check was requested and it boasted a 19.4% gratuity already entered on the check for a party of 3. This was unjustified and insulting. Somebody was clearly proud of their horrible service or they do not understand service. My wife made a comment about the gratuity and the second waiter that seemed to take over our table heard her and said we did not have to pay it. I figured they needed it more than me, so I paid it and quietly left the restaurant. You have been warned. I do not mind tipping 20-30% for good service. Lesson learned. We walked across the street for desert and found some amazing gelato and cannoli. This turned out to be a great move out of this restaurant.

The food here was really disappointing. The guy in the front sold us because he was so charismatic talking about the restaurant, but maybe that should have been our sign to walk away. I got the manicotti and it was mediocre. My mom got the mushroom risotto, which I have to say tasted really good. The only thing it lacked is what every dish lacked….salt. This is coming from someone who does not add much salt to food. My sister had the alfredo. According to her and my mom the chicken did not taste good. The waiter was kind enough to bring her a new dish without chicken. The reason I have my low rating is because the new fettuccini sauce tasted different than the original. There is always a fear of sending food back. That you will get something worse than before. This was the case this time around. I don’t know what they did different, but it makes you uncomfortable that it was different. I can’t recommend this place, it’s up to you if you want to give it a try. Maybe stay away from chicken and do not send your food back.

We we welcomed in by Wilson and Amadeo at Casa Bella. We had been eating at Forlini’s for years- the place was there for 100 years. To our disappointment and sadness it is gone. So what to do as we were hungry for great homemade Italian? We walked to Casa Bella and Wilson greeted us as we asked if there was a bar and lunch. To that he replied that he would gladly seat us in the cool spot because it’s very hot today in NYC. Great vibes…. To the bar we go and order our sandwiches; chicken parmigiana with broccoli rabe and I ordered the eggplant parmigiana hero. Delicious- the bread was crispy crust and soft inside. It’s my kind of sandwich. The fellow at the bar was so accommodating and attentive. If you’re in the Chinatown/ Little Italy area, it’s a great spot.

Nestled in the heart of Little Italy in New York, their pizzas and pasta are good. However, the experience can be somewhat tarnished by the unpleasant behavior of the folder at the entrance, which contrasts with the friendliness and warmth of the establishment.

Do not go. Staff rude. Food average. Read other reviews as well as mine. Today was my birthday. I passed the restaurant & they offered a lunch menu deal. They also advertised for wine at $5. I said I’d come back. I did. Anyway, I’m coeliac, do could not eat anything on the lunch menu deal. I decided I’d stay and have a pasta, gluten free. I ordered a carafe of their house white wine, it was my birthday after all! When the check came, they didn’t honour the price of the wine. I asked the waiter what happened to $5 per glass, he just said it didn’t apply to the carafe. I said, it is the same wine! He just smiled and said you should have orders by the glass. By this point, I asked for the manager. He says the wine at $5 only applied at the bar and had I asked for it before I ordered. I said no, there is a sign outside that says $5 per wine. I told him it was my birthday and that his false advertising had upset me. I asked my husband to settle the bill and left almost in tears. The waiter came out, not to apologise, but to tell the street promoter and they both agreed it was clear the offer us only valid on the bar. An image speaks 1000 words. You be the judge. Picture says nothing about wine $5 at bar. They were rude & petty & horrible people, without the minimum sense of customer service.

Tourist machine. So very authentic looking, but expensive and below average quality of the food. Almost $100 for a fortress, a very small pizza and two glasses of wine.

Too expensive in relation to the quality. You get the feeling that you pay for the location in Little Italy, without having to get something good again. At best, I will call the place, for a Hollywood wannabe mafia restaurant in a bad B movie. Please stay clear...

Nice atmosphere. Alright food. Salads were great. Service was good. Located in the heart of Little Italy.

The restaurant was not very busy but we went about an hour and a half before closing. The waiter was nice and our pizza was very good.

We ate here after a whole day of exploring the city around 7pm. The food and service was excellent. Around 10:30 pm I realized I had left my purse there. I called the restaurant to see if they had it and sure enough they did. The next day I went and got it and was happy that my money was all there. Just so happy to see there are still honest people. I would definitely recommend this restaurant with experience we had.

This was a great gem right as you get into little Italy. We walked in and got a nice table for 4 outside tonight. The servers were friendly and fast. Drinks, orders, and wine quickly taken care of. FYI, southerners, they have really good sweet tea. Exactly like you get back home. For dinner, the spaghetti with meatballs came with 2 large and the flavor was homemade like mamma did them fresh. The linguine vongole was was fantastic with whole garlic and lots of classic in the shell. The non-pasta eater had lovely grilled chicken breaststroke and broccoli and that looked good. I had the risotto funghetti was simply amazing. A large plate of risotto with 3 types of mushrooms and just enough sauce for flavor. If you want Italian, come here. It's that good.. I'll be back.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of all the festivities of San Gennaro and were seated in the outside area. With all the craziness of the day I can honestly say the service was exceptional. The servers were prompt, courteous and professional. For starters we had a pitcher of Sangria and several beers. They returned quickly and it was refreshing. For our meal we ordered several apps to share. We started with mussels, sausage and peppers, cold antipasto, calamari and a margherita pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious! The mussels were excellent, the broth which accompanied the mussels was so flavorful; obviously we put the bread to good use. Next we can talk about the sausage and peppers-amazing. You can never get this wrong. The cold antipasto was just ok, a little underwhelming but it was ok. They could have given larger pieces of cheese and the cured meats could have been better. The calamari was cooked perfectly and tasted very good. To be honest I was so filled with all the other food; I did not get a chance to taste the pizza but I was told by others in our group that it was good.

Very warm welcome by the Albanian host/manager! Food was delicious, service was good, and I would recommend this place for a casual dining.

Ambience wonderful in Little Italy. Bread was delicious. We had eggplant rolitine. Very large portion. Very tasty. We had lunch special which included soup or salad. Both were good. It was $14. 95 each. Well worth it.

I love Casa Bella’s... Service was great! I went during lunch time mid week... I had the express lunch special... lasagna... it was $14.95 with soup or salad... I also had a glass of Chardonnay... which was very good... the lasagna was amazing! The waiter was super friendly and attentive... I absolutely recommend this place...

I love that this ristorante was right in the middle of Mulberry Street in Little Italy. The guy who sat us to our table was very kind and friendly and he happily obliged to make a vegetarian pizza for us upon requesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, delicious drinks and the whole awesome vibe...

Great food, prices and atmosphere. Can sit inside or out. Definitely worth a visit. Lunch specials too

The Lasagna was the best I have ever eaten!!!! My wife had a sandwich which she said was great and was so large she couldn't eat it all. We sat outside and gladly recommended the food to all that asked or were considering the menu. The owner also came over and visited with us.

Found this bar as we were walking past and noticed the signs for Bar & Cocktails. The staff were very friendly and the cocktails and drink were lovely, so good 6 of us spent an afternoon in there, only to re-visit 2 days later !!

Found this spot while exploring New York. Located right in the heart of Little Italy. Cute little restaurant nicely decorated. Service was amazing everyone in the restaurant was committed to excellent customer service. The food was amazing. I definitely we’ll be going back to this spot next time I’m in New York.

Went to casa Bella yesterday for dinner. Was promised a real authentic Italian meal. The dollar pizza slice was much better in my opinion then the pizzas served here. There was no air conditioner either. I won’t go back nor could I endorse this restaurant.

We were hungry and looking for a good feed of Italian food after a long day sightseeing. Our impromptu search was rewarded with a wander into Little Italy. We walked past Casa Bella and after a quick chat with the waiter decided to give it a go. Was worth it! Pasta was cooked al dente, flavoursome and service spot on. Celebrating a birthday all the waiters joined in to sing... highly recommended.

It was raining and we were hungry. The greeter in the street sucked us in with his clever recitation of just about everything on the menu. He made us laugh, so we went in. What a surprise! The place was full but we were seated right away. Service was attentive and friendly, and the food was fabulous. I was expecting a touristy experience, but instead I felt like I was in an old-world NYC Italian place. We shared a rolled and stuffed chicken breast with gnocchi in marinara sauce that was simply delicious. The gnocchi were like little clouds of heaven. We also shared an oriechietti with spinach and pine nuts that contrasted perfectly with the chicken dish. Very fresh and bright flavors. A bottle of house chianti was better than I expected for the price. You could spend a lot more money for something truly great, I suppose, but we were very happy with the chianti for $30. We had to practically beg for our check, so don't be afraid to summon your server. It seems they are happy to let people linger over their meal, but we might have liked a bit more attention at that point.

When the bill came, we asked to get a breakdown of it so that we could all pay separately. Initially they told us they couldn’t do this and made it seem like it was a lot of effort. They took a long time to sort this. When my bill came, they added 20% tip which I would be happy to pay if the food and service deserved it. As the service wasn’t very good, I gave 10%. The staff memeber then came back to me and told me I hadn’t given him enough money. I found this very rude and made me not want to give him a tip at all. Horrendous. Wouldn’t bother again. Food was average, nothing special

Casa Bella's restaurant is in a lovely area of Little Italy. The decor and very large windows contributed to the elegant, yet cozy and luminous environment. The food was truly spectacular, with outstanding ragu' sauce, tasty fish, authentic Italian appetizers, and fresh pasta. The service was impeccable and the waiters and owners were delighted to help with both food selections, and comments on their Italian heritage and New York neighborhoods. You could not ask for more from an Italian Restaurant, in fact from any restaurant!

We popped into Casa Bella because of the front door salesman's skills - the way he described the menu was convincing although there is probably hardly any difference between the restaurants in Little Italy - a place to visit rather than dine. Somewhat insolent and impatient service - I had to literally tell the guy we need some time to choose from the menu. We were seated in the least attractive part of the venue despite the fact it was not really crowded. Food quality acceptable, yet no sensations. I was surprised the tip was charged automatically leaving no choice to us. All in all - I would share the view that if you want some unforgettable experience at an Italian restaurant in NY, Little Italy is not the best choice.

Our meal was absolutely delicious! Some of the best, most authentic Italian food I've ever had. The limoncello was amazing and the service outstanding! A must if you are visiting NYC!

Been there a bunch of time in the last couple years. This year though the service took a hit big time. 30 minutes to order after being seated. And how is a Coke $3.50 with no refills? And an maybe 8oz Bellini $13.00???? Not the greatest experience. Food however was spot on!

We went to this restaurant on October 14, 2023, very poorly received, the customer service is deplorable, no smile, no polite sign such as hello, thank you. Before you decide to go there, here are some facts that will save you and I hope will dissuade you from dining there. First thing, the menu is expensive and the dishes have no taste, my poor gnocchi with tomato sauce were bland and in no way tasty, secondly you have no choice if you are in a group but to pay in one bill and they don't take credit cards, only cash. Plus, they don't take small change!! Scammers, impossible to choose your tip percentage, necessarily 22%!! RUN away if you have the chance.

Fantastic authentic Italian food. Great atmosphere in little Italy. Try everything !! Going with someone don’t order the same thing so that you can try theirs too. Staff friendly. Food outstanding

Walking on little italy in new york and got stopped by a nice guy who read the menu to us in 30 seconds. We belived him and went in for lunch. They had such a great food and good service. Lasagna was really good and the zuppa de pesce was delicious. We will be back on the next trip to new york.

Very popular place right in Little Italy. Food was excellent and service was very good as well, busy corner to eat and watch the world go by

The only review that I felling to write is "STAY AWAY from this Restaurant" !! it is a bad copy of an Italian Restaurant. Even if the Owner is Italian its Kitchen is in the opposite site! There isn't an original Italian Dish: "Carbonara" is made with cream and onion (OH MY GOD!!!!); "Amatriciana" is made with bacon parsley whitout any onion fried; "Gnocchi" are potato dumplings bought at the supermarket and are of poor quality even if the waiter says they are homemade. All bad and everything does little honor to true Italian cuisine! Furthermore, once the bad quality of the kitchen is mentioned, they demand a tip including it in the bill. This, obviously, was the subject of discussion with the Waiter who in a rude manner even allowed himself to repay "do you know what F..k I do with your tip??" After this my experience I can only say to STAY AWAY from CASA BELLA in Little Italy - NYC -

Last October 14, we went to this restaurant. We had a reservation for 18 people. We had an agreement with the restaurant to have a group menu. When we arrived, they claimed never to have heard of it. We received very poor customer service. The waiters hardly gave us a word during the entire meal. We had also informed the restaurant that we wanted separate bills, but when it came time to pay they refused. They imposed a 22% tip on us which we could not change. So we had to pay an exorbitant bill for disappointing meals and very poor service. It was overall a very bad experience and I advise you not to set foot in this place.

The customer service was really poor. When we arrived, not a hello... in addition, a gentleman outside approached us so that we could come and eat in the restaurant, which is not the best. Then we were a group of 18 people. First, they placed us in a corner near the other customers and above all we were crowded! Finally, we were supposed to have a group menu, to which the restaurant told us that they had nothing for us and that we would have to choose a la carte, knowing that the prices were higher and that I remember we are students. So I didn't find it professional at all and finally the highlight, the restaurant charged us 22% tip without consulting us before and without the possibility of being able to change. I therefore do not recommend this restaurant in any way! TO AVOID.

This was a total surprise to us. We were going to a different restaurant in Little Italy but was persuaded by the owner to eat here. We were not disappointed. Great staff and great food. We recommend if you’re going to New York City you make a trip to Little Italy and eat at Casa Bella!!!
