Price quality is really good. Fresh products, sauces, quantities. $45 bucks healthy food well done. Always a no brainer. Order for three.

I tried the new one on 6th ave Chelsea

By motherJo |

The new Chelsea location just opened. Wanted to try it long lunch lines even in snow. I had a grain bowel with lentils and paid extra for lamb meatballs. Everything is delicious but if you are on WW. Points add up. Next time I'll get roasted veggies.

Beautiful food

Had amazing pittas here! The staff were great and the food was delicious. It was very good quality and also reasonable. I had a mini pitta and it was still very big compared to the servings we usually have in the UK

A salad of your choice, fresh produce and with a smile Best salad ever eaten

By Jennifer B |

a surprising discovery, while wandering around the neighborhood (we wanted to eat something quick like a salad) and we opened the door of this place where I have never eaten such a good salad. The principle is that you choose your bowl and add the ingredients you want, everything was fresh and we loved the light and tasty Tahini Caesar sauce. And the best, the pleasant smiling service a choice of lemonade, iced teas, special mention for Robert who brings a little touch of warmth as he was smiling and caring

Good healthy food

I’ve been to the Cava in Union Square several times. It’s really good, and healthy Mediterranean food. You can get a bowl with veggies chicken and all the trimmings for about $11. It’s like a healthier version of chipotle. I recommend it.

Not great experience

By Wendell S |

Open past 10:47 not 10:45. No Steak, no Falafel and cashier has attitude and one of my many ingredients was stale/hard ruining the bowl mix

Quick line food Mediterranean cuisine

By AndiamoAMagna |

Cava offers healthy lunch options like salads and rice bowls. I had the salad which was a good option for under $10 especially in the city. At this location, lines were long but they moved quick. Process- you move down an assembly line and create your salad, greens, humus, vegetable options, protein and dressing. All very good and filling.

Quick Casual Salads and Bowl Restaurant

By johninwright |

Great for dining it at lunch or for takeout any time after they open. Salads and grain bowls are fresh, with many great ingredient options. Everything very fresh. My favorite protein topping was the spicy lamb...so much so I went there twice during my four day stay in NYC.

Was staying at the Pestana Park Avenue for 3 days and came back multiple times. The food quality is fantastic. Great service too. Please open in Toronto.

Curiosity fed the cat!!

By Tony |

I was in the area because I had a hair appointment a few blocks down. Looking for a bite to eat when I see a line out the door and rounding the corner. "Who would wait for this?" FOMO got the best of me and my taste buds and belly thanked me for it. RIDICULOUSLY GOOD! Think Chipotle, but Mediterranean influence. Even my 11 year old son (who is picky) loved it. That alone makes me want to buy stock in it. The line moves because the have a very efficient serving system. Try it...you won't be disappointed!

Nice place for healthier lunch

By Dudu |

We looked for something healthy for lunch after a week of meat pizza and junk food. This place offers healthy salads with middle eastern twist. Tasty dressing and large verify of ingredients to pick from. Tasty, fair size of plates. The line was long which i consider a good sign, and move fast

No meat - no dressing -no forks (!) at 12:45pm

By michel a |

It's unheard of that at 12:45, with everyone waiting, there's no more meat – only a bit of chicken – missing dressings, and no forks, only spoons. We're all complaining about this sloppy attitude. The customer ahead of me, after the umpteenth 'we're out of it' reply, gave up on their salad. I got mine despite missing the meatballs and the dressing I wanted, but honestly, I can't eat it with a spoon. Someone take care of this place!

build your bowl

By farrelma |

This place is unique in that you can design your own mediterranean bowl. You pick your base (basmati rice or greens), protein, sauces, and toppings. The falafel and the hummus were really good. I really enjoyed my bowl and found myself craving it a few days later!

Quick Stop for a Pita

By JacksBee |

Great place for a quick bite. You can build your own bowl or pita, with a variety of toppings such as veggies, hummus, etc. They also have soups and really good lemonade.
