Been to the London branch many times and just wanted some familiarity when I was alone in NYC. Menu is basically the same and good and extensive. Great selections. Great location the the Ned hotel in the middle of the city. Great interior, atmosphere and ambience. Superb service and friendly staff. Food as always at Cecconis; very good. I had as a nibble, the Foccaci and Grisini, with some olive oil. They were very good. For starter I took the Tuna tartare, avocado, chili, mint, which was just deliscious, with good size cubes of tuna (see pic). For main I took what I always have at Cecconis; the Cacio e pepe, and added some truffle. I am far from a cheese lover, but this is the only place in the world I have eaten a dish with this much cheese, since it is a cheese dish....lol. But it does not smell that much of cheese, which makes it ok for me. Great taste, but not much of the truffle. Hardly and difference from the regular one, and you pay extra for it. No dessert or Limoncello. To full. Always delivers!

Nice experience. Being Italian on holiday in New York is a bit like playing at home, but thanks to Andrea, bar manager, who with professionalism and seriousness made us feel really in Italy.

The service was very good as usual in USA. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not withstand it. Our salmon was dry, the vegetables cooked and the pasta on the other dish not really a highlight. Price performance does not quite match here. The premises are very nice though

Great attentive service - nice polite staff. Food was all really good. A great business lunch in a lovely setting. Surprise at prior comments re service as thought it was great. Toilets lovely!

We arrived a few minutes early on Christmas Eve, our greeter, possibly the manager started to talk to us and then went straight into ordering drinks with a waiter for another table, quite rude I felt! We were led to our table and seated, menu ok, but nothing that stood out. Server arrived took our order for drinks, beer and champagne. Food was ordered, I was told my food would come out earlier than my wife’s, not sure how they can’t time a meal correctly! Food arrived it was ok but nothing that made it worth the price! Service wasn’t the best as I had to look for the server to get another drink. Overall was it value for money, no, would I go back, no.

A real Italian! Grissine wonder, a wonderful bucket, great grilled dough, and the goat pizza with divine truffles!

I slipped into the restaurant at the last minute and eat at the bar. Service was excellent. I had sole which was delicious, unpretentious with spinach. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud but busy.

Fabulous restaurant! I never normally eat in hotel restaurants but as I’ve known the Cecconi’s brand for years , and the menu seemed the same I tried it ! From waiting in the bar to eating from the delicious food , service was brilliant efficient and friendly .I wholeheartedly recommend the squid starter and pasta dishes . Staff were very well trained and went the extra mile .

When you get told twice in the first 15 minutes that “it’s very busy tonight…” it’s a pretty safe bet you’re gonna be disappointed. When you then have to go to the bar to order your drinks because a server hasn’t turned up you can scratch any thoughts about a tip as well. And when you finish explaining to the server who finally shows up that one of you is coeliac and then she asks “any allergies?” you know you’re not working with the best and brightest at all. At least the food here (what we tasted, anyway) was decent. Buffala mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes and basil with a plate of calamari were decent to start with. A simple pasta of penne, butter and truffle oil and a main of spaghetti with Maine lobster, tomato and chilli equally good (if a little lacking in heat). The two glasses of Veuve we started with were flat - the fiano and nero d’avola good. But the service let the whole experience down - badly. Yes, they comped a few items but when mains are getting put down seconds after the appetizers are cleared you can be sure they’re just wanting you done and gone. Never again.

We went to dinner with the kids and for our surprise we got a quick table. The food was very delicious. We ate a porter house and the kids mass. Not too much but it was delicious. I expected a little more

Local 50s overflowing but with quick service. The kitchen and 'not bad but' absolutely not the Italian cuisine. Prices (even if New York is now very expensive) very high and unjustified (the wine here really is liquid gold...).

Fantastic experience! The menu, although inspired by classic Italian tradition, offers intriguing dishes made with the highest quality ingredients and presented beautifully. There is a wide selection of both meat and fish, and vegetarian options are also available. The staff is very attentive to the needs of the customers, professional, and friendly. We will certainly return to try more dishes and enjoy the sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere.

It’s a good place for a brunch. The restaurant is inside the Nomad hotel, the entrance is concealed and every member of the party went around the block a few times looking for the entrance. The food is quite good. Enjoyed yogurt with berries, and burrata. Egg dishes looked and tasted good. The service was really friendly and warm. The Ceccione’s location at Dumbo is on a whole different level. This location lacks the spectacular views and atmosphere and menu seemed smaller. But we had very enjoyable brunch in a pleasant setting on a very cold day. The waitstaff was really attentive. Would recommend for brunch and lunch for groups and friends and families.

Restaurant chosen for Christmas lunch. We were not happy with this experience. We were positioned at the table attached to the column, with people behind and on the sides... while in my opinion the prettiest and quietest area for the Christmas lunch that I imagined would be the one near the window, where there was no one. We asked twice if it was possible to change tables and we were told no, because the tables had already been organized in that way...... Not happy.. let's start our lunch... I asked for spaghetti lobster, not the best I've ever eaten but discreet. In the meantime, another couple arrives and is positioned on the side opposite our column. They ask to be moved to the window area and are immediately seated. Well, the hours pass... we have lunch, we finish... completely empty window side with that happy couple, and us in the middle of the room, attached to the column, crowded with people around... and also paying a higher bill. In short... an experience that I would definitely not repeat.

We stumbled on this spot just a few blocks from our hotel, when my husband said “we need to do Italian in New York”. What a find! They were able to get us in without a reservation. It is romantic and cozy. Taylor was a fantastic server, making sure a food allergy was safe and recommending the whipped ricotta, which is phenomenal. The wine selection is carefully curated and possibly the best Chianti we have ever tasted. Don’t dismiss that wine! It is made for pasta, which was also excellent. Huge points for asking us if we wanted to linger over the meal and waiting to put in entree orders so we could bask in the delightful evening… highly recommended!

The atmosphere and setting is beautiful, perfect for a date night or anniversary meal. Very intimate and cosy, it’s sort of hidden away from the door. The food is also top quality and really tasty. The service was just a little slow on the day we went which really let it down, we never got the drinks we ordered after asking twice. It is very expensive but if that’s what you’re looking for this is the place. Would definitely return! They do gluten free pasta and bread too.

Our server, Dana, was great! The food, drinks, location, and atmosphere were fantastic, too. We definitely will be back.

Good food but me thinks overpriced. Especially for breakfast. Very nice inside and nice staff. Classy yet comfortable

We visited this lovely restaurant on our 5 day visit to NYC as it was close to our hotel … gorgeous inside … linen table cloths and attentive service and delicious food (we did not do this justice due to jet lag!) however we would recommend… not cheap however no where is NYC is … a lovely place.

The location at the Ned is great. Live music was playing, the ambiance is great. Food tasted good. A little pricey for what we ordered. Service was good, not great which is why a 4 star. Many other restaurants at the Ned to try as well.
A Dream View Brooklyn Bridge
As an Italian I recommend it for food. And then for the environment that is wonderful. A dream Excellent macaroni Bolognese.
