Love the vintage look of the place

By Fanie D |

I tried the matcha latté it was good, if you like matcha! We had a great service. A good hot drink on very cold days.

Good, if you like matcha

By AndiamoAMagna |

If you re a fan of matcha, then you will enjoy cha cha's. Personally, it leaves a bitter after taste. Had the matcha pineapple swirl. Decent portion, but slightly expensive at over $5. They offer indoor and outdoor seating.

Matcha lovers - stop here!

By DRVT |

I didn't really *need* a drink, but I'm a huge matcha fan so had to stop in when passing by this place. I enjoyed the friendly service, and a deliciously prepared matcha latte with coconut milk!

Macadamia matcha

By LizzyGra |

I was very tired after my long shopping, but my cold macadamia matcha made me feel better. After a friendly chat during my order I got my drink very quick, even though there was a queue. Happy to try something new with a really good taste!

Nice stop

Took a break heading towards Little Italy. Well made, fresh drinks. Great atmosphere. Perfect drinks for cold days.

A little bit of Matcha heaven!

By Fern Coll |

Everything about this place is adorable! The decoration and the branding so so on point it’s just stunning. They have a great selection of matcha drinks, I had the chai matcha latte and my boyfriend the matcha and turmeric, both were absolutely delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. Their strawberry cronuts are also amazing!!

Not that good

By Soo Y |

This review is solely for the matcha icecream. Matcha green tea ice cream was too sweet and barely tasted like matcha at all. It just was overpriced and not good at all.

Was so surprised how good it is! Was pretty doubtful!

By Zhozho |

It was a cold raining day and we wanted something nice and warm. I have been to Kyoto and tried matcha there! So, I was really afraid that the place will offer something way different from authentic matcha. But, guess I thought too much! It was pretty good! Like the real stuff :D We were very happy that we got to try it before leaving NYC. It is our goodbye drink for our trip in NYC.

BLUE DRINK

By eissaak |

Very friendly staff, They specialize in matcha, you can have their blue drink with or without matcha, and it tastes great. You must try it!

Cute Place

By Lino |

Right across from our hotel, it's a great place for a drink, warm or cold to get you going! Bright and fun place, although gets busy quickly. Best to grab a drink and go rather than trying to find a place to sit and study

Yum !

By Anna A |

Heard so much about this place so my daughter and I had to try it. Such a cute place and they have awesome matcha drinks. Definitely recommend and we will go back next time we are in NYC!

Early morning coffee

By David L |

Poor service and overpriced coffee in a neighborhood that has plenty of competition. $3.50 for a regular size coffee not comparable.

Bad customer service

By richro6771 |

Very unprofessional business. Returned item never received refund. Emailed numerous times. With no reply or acknowledgement. Will definitely not recommend this business

Matcha to try

By Borish |

One of the best matcha lattes in NYC. Average prices in NYC. The staff was friendly and helpful. Absolutely worth trying.

Super cute and great options

By sunsandsand0703 |

Fantastic options for everyone in our group. Not just matcha but several other options as well, plus breakfast food options. Check out the menu ahead of time. Super cute place too!

Ooooh... such great choices.

Matcha to the max. This Broadway location was jam packed busy on a weekday evening. Mixers were friendly, willing to explain the concoctions, and happy to give information about what they are "all about". You don't have to be a tea lover to find something to love. The Lavenders are particularly good, everything we ordered was served at the best temperature, and we loved knowing the great selections at ChaCha Matcha can be found all over town. This was a great spot, the prices were reasonable, and it sure did hit the spot in the middle of a very long walk up Broadway from Nolita to Times Square. Nice !!

Unwelcoming staff

By Traveler65 |

Small place , staff was unwelcoming from the first greeting. Got order wrong too. Girl should not be talking to customers. Worked 12/8 about 11am.

Cute Matcha Shop

By hrminella |

I loved this place! The vibe is great and everyone working is friendly and puts care into every drink. They make a mean matcha latte thats totally worth every penny.

So Glad There Is A 2nd Cha Cha!

We are BIG fans of Cha Cha Matcha so we were excited to see a second location on Broadway! Same awesome Matcha Latte and Matcha soft serve! A MUST if you like green tea.

Matcha matcha love

By nicole p |

You can’t go wrong if you like true Japanese matcha. Pick milk - non dairy options, flavor (or not). And the soft serve?!!! Yumm... how awesome! And clean.

Love Matcha

By catmdino |

So I love matcha. I really really do. And it was really good matcha. My only gripe was that the place was so so so tiny that I could barely get in the door to wait in line for my matcha. The register is so close to the door, so anyone waiting to pay is right there and then no one else can get inside. But waiting was totally worth the taste of the matcha.

Great matcha

By Debora P |

all drinks were very good, although I must say that the "purple drink" that my daughter ordered was a real hit.

Good place to chill

By lucasashby |

Good place and decent drinks. There’s places to sit. It’s a nice spot to relax with a drink and get away from the hubbub for a second.

good drink, but expensive

By farrelma |

I loved my matcha latte, but I found that it was more expensive than any other matcha I’ve had. This was probably because this place is famous and made a cool design on the drink. It was a fun place to visit!

Not worth lining up for

By Ally C |

As visitors staying on the same block, we noticed this place had long lines and figured it must be serving up something really amazing. Overall, not impressed. I may be biased to espresso over macha though.

Take a Cha Cha Break

Don't miss out on the matcha pastries to go along with your hot or cold matcha beverage. Matcha filled cronuts and matcha lattes are perfect pairings.

Good matcha (use InKind to save some coin)

By Vacillating Vegan |

As a value-based tourist, I'm still trying to get my head around $7 drinks in Manhattan. Where I'm from, $7 gets you an entire meal. But value doesn't mean cheap. If you're willing to pay a bit more, you can get a much higher quality product in this circus of a town. Cha Cha Matcha scratches that itch. The matcha is solid. The ambience is on par with Starbucks, so take that for what it's worth. The staff were polite and efficient. If you do come to the greater New York area, I would recommend using the InKind app. The company makes deals with up-and-coming restaurants to provide them with capital in exchange for discounts for its members. I'm not sure about the details of the arrangement, but it seems like restaurants prefer this model to selling their souls to private equity. From the consumer's perspective, you get a discount on everything you purchase at the participating restaurant as well as some InKind dollars to be used at any InKind-included restaurant in the future. [I have no stake in InKind nor am I paid by them. But if you're coming to the Big City, the least you can do is try to minimize your financial damages.] I went to the Cha Cha Matcha in the Daniel Patrick Moynihan Train Hall. That address is not yet available in TripAdvisor, but the menu is the same.

Refreshing matcha lemonade

Pretty and lovely spot. This is the best matcha lemonade I’ve tried so far.. So tasty and refreshing on hot days !

For the Love of Matcha!

By aapony |

I'm a big fan of matcha - hot and iced, so when my daughter suggested stopping by Cha Cha Matcha, I let my curiosity lead me. The atmosphere was electric. As popular songs came on, the crew would break out in song and dance, never skipping a beat in getting the drinks to the customers without delay. The pink decor also added to the fun ambiance. I ordered one of the specials - hot Ginger Turmeric with Oat Milk. Although matcha can sometimes be pretty earthy in taste depending on how it's prepared, I prefer a balanced flavor - not too earthy and not too sweet. So when I sipped my drink, I was pleasantly surprised by the well balanced and delicious taste. Not only was the oat milk, ginger and turmeric a balanced blend, it also made me feel pretty good about what I was drinking. There are a variety of non-dairy milk options to choose from as well - almond, oat, macadamia, hemp and coconut. I think Cha Cha Matcha is definitely a "must go" place to go for matcha lovers and a great place to visit with friends.

Great little matcha place!

By nabeab |

The matcha croissant was to dye for! The best croissant! The coconut matcha and ginger/turmeric matcha drinks were excellent too! We will be back soon for sure! If you like matcha, can not miss this jewel!

Crowded & popular

By magnusang |

Had my first visit here and tried som different Matcha drinks and treats. They were all good and tasty, although not top Matcha if you’re the picky one. There was a long line of people and the place were crowded and the music on top. I liked the place and will for sure get back!
