Yummee dumplings

By Safari28692215087 |

My son and I really enjoyed the different sorts of dumplings, edamame etc. We went 2 nights in a row. Yes, 18% is added to the bill but then again... it is expected anyways anywhere you go so I did not let that bother me.

Recent visit to NYC

Everything was brilliant thanks, food delicious and staff pleasant, would thoroughly recommend not far from Times Square

A little gem near time square.

Dropped on this little gem by accident and what a great experience. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. A family friendly restaurant not far from time square.

Very delicious dumplings

By Stuart T |

The service here is excellent! They are very friendly and attentive. The soup dumplings are yummy! Despite being in a very touristy area (close to Time Square) this place is definitely worth a visit.

Solid Chinese Food Close to Times Square

By craig1086 |

Stopped here because we were walking in the Times Square area, and we wanted Chinese food without having to go too far. Found this place a few streets over & gave then a try. We got the pork dumplings, the shumai, chicken fried rice and beef lo mein. We enjoyed all of it, but the pork dumplings were our least favorite. There are plenty options in the area, but we wanted no-frills food away from the super touristy area.

Crabmeat and Pork Soup Dumplings!

By colleengoesoutside |

Wow! The soup dumplings are delicious! I had the crab meat and pork. It bursts in your mouth and is so flavorful. I also had the sweet and sour soup which was good. Service is quick and done with an app so you can add on more items as you eat and voila it comes out super fast to you! Friendly staff and the Hibachi chef was funny if you’re into that. I’ll come back here everytime I’m in the area. I’m thinking about the dumplings now wanting more…

Skip the hibachi. Go for the dumplings.

Pre show dinner with family while visiting NY. Great location relative to the Broadway theaters. We had reservations for hibachi, but not needed. We were the only group having hibachi the entire time we were there. Dumplings appear to be the main attraction here. The hibachi was ok. The chef always average as was the food. We should have gone for the dumplings.

18% tip mandatory, almost invisible!

By wholetraveller |

The food was actually very good, tiny, narrow location, very busy, nice staff, spectacular shows at the teriyaki grill. The food is also served quickly, The Shanghai style soup dumplings are average at best. Normally they are closed at the top and are steamed that way. Here, however, they were open and the soup leaked out. Very unfortunate, better to take your time. What annoyed me most was that this was the only one of at least 25 restaurants that we visited that made at least 18% gratuity (tip) obligatory! It was scribbled on a piece of paper, not immediately visible, somewhere in the middle of the restaurant. The staff should have said that before ordering!

Nice restaurant, great staff, awesome flavors.

We ordered different dishes for the three of us from the menu. The staff was very friendly and explained us about the best ways to eat our dishes. What a delicate flavors.

Great food, great atmosphere, great entertainment

Chose at random one evening because we fancied something light, had the soup dumplings and a few other bits: soup dumplings were delicious. Returned on our last evening in NY for the hibachi experience based on what we'd seen when there before, and because we loved it. The head waiter recognised us which was lovely! Hibachi chef was brilliant, all the utensil tossing, hat-tricks and stunts you'd expect, and the food was gorgeous too. Only sad thing is that we're back in the UK now so can't go back again!

The BEST dumplings ever!!

By Deb W |

We had the pork soup dumplings, lava buns and fried pork dumplings. Everything was amazing. We had a second order of the pork soup dumplings. We had never had those or the lava buns. We came to NYC craving dumplings and this was THE place to go. Don’t miss it!

Great food and great service!

The scallions pancakes are amazing perfectly crispy but soft on the inside, the sauce served with it is the perfect compliment to the side. The vegetable dumplings are equally good. The service was above and beyond. The hot chili oil is made fresh!!! Fried rice is a solid pick for vegetarians!

Excellent Meal to Share with a Loved One

If you’re looking for great warm food look no further! Service was fast and food was delicious. I highly recommend the chicken dumplings and chicken lo mein.

Dump the Dumpling

The quality of the food is absolutely horrible. The hibachi performance was mediocre. We had reservations and did not get seated for 20 min.

Divine soup dumplings (who knew?!)

By Mikey74alc |

Called in here after the theatre as they were advertised in playbill! So glad we did! Had never even heard of a soup dumpling!! The crab meat and pork soup dumplings are an amazing taste combo! Place the dumpling on the spoon, pierce it to release the soup, drink the soup within then eat the dumpling! Simple… and soooooo tasty! We also tried other dim sum options equally delicious! The hibachi chef was fun (if a little loud lol) but the people sat with him were certainly enjoying the fun vibe! Decent prices (especially for the house wine!) and all delicious!
