Prepare to have your mind blown. I have had a lot of pastries here and buoyed many of them. This one is another level of goodness. I had the Maple and it was great. Looking forward to going back and trying the others. In fact it was so good that I took a bite and was going to take a pic but that flavor made me forget and before I realized it was gone.

Daily Provisions is the Union Square Cafe's little takeaway shop. It is open for breakfast and lunch, but not for dinner. It closes at 6:00 PM. There are breakfast sandwiches, lunch specials, and starting at 3:00 PM , takeaway roast chicken for dinner. There is also a large coffee bar with a few stools. Perfect stop for a light snack. The food is yummy. Not cheap, but very good.

First of all this place is small very few tables some bar stools .we went on a Saturday so it was crowded had bacon egg sandwich which was excellent they offer water at counter.Getting it to go is more logical ,but food is excellent in nyc small is the trend

A small authentic and warm café near Union Square. The avocado toast is excellent, the kids even mention it in their best memories of NYC! Coffee is good, cookies are good. Clearly a good address.

We loved the breakfast here so much, we ate here every day of our trip. The gourges were delicious, and the maple cruller was the best donut I have ever eaten! Must try! Establishment is very small with limited chairs just standing counters to eat at. Very brisk service. Credit Debit only.

The restaurant is small, but warm and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the food is out of this world. It has the best egg sandwich I have ever had and the maple cruller was to die for.

We stopped here for a quick bite and everything was great! Service was quick and the food was very good...Avocado Toast, eggs and cheese on a bagel...all delicious! The mocha coffee was out of the this world and the barista will show you how to make a design with the milk.

Wow. This was, without a doubt, the BEST egg and bacon sandwich I have ever stuffed into my face. I was worried when the description said "thick cut bacon" as I envisioned wrestling with a tough slab. No siree, the "bacon" was a butter-tender pork belly that melted on the warmth of my tongue. Perfect egg. Perfect bread. Perfect cheese. I'm in love. Oh, and the cruller donuts are pretty spectacular as well.

We love Daily Provisions, perfect creative and inventive breakfast. Danny Meyer and his team is doing a fabulous job. Love the crueller and the breakfast cougeres are simple perfection. The coffee is good too. This place is popular and it’s not easy to find a place to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Place your order and hope for the best otherwise take your breakfast to the park. We visit every time we’re in NYC and have never been disappointed.

Friendly service but need to pay more attention to what customer requested. Asked for eggs well done, but we're runny. Asked for 'to-ho', but discovered later in train that no napkins provided. Little, but important details. Thank you

the service is really good, the food is good quality great taste is a perfect combination of ingredients for start the day, i recommend the breakfast here egg sadwiches with avocado, spinach, basil, tomato jam. The quality of the coffee is good. looking forward to comeback.

The place is lovely to sit in for breakfast or lunch. The seeded bread tastes good, the sausage tastes like a beef burger which was slightly strange for breakfast. The egg was perfectly runny. Coffee tasted good too. It wasn’t worth the walk though.

either they dont clean their mugs enough or coffee is usually soapy. Stick to the crueller if you can get some is what i hear.

For a delicious, fresh, organic and made with love start to your day, start at Daily Provisions. My husband and I had bacon and egg sandwiches. I didn't know a breakfast sandwich could bring so much joy. It did. Also try their "Cruller" had no idea what it was, but the introduction was a beautiful one. I was so impressed I purchased their English muffins to bring back to MD. They sizzled while they toasted! I will be telling all our friends to check this place out.

Loved the casual vibe, sat in the window and watched the passing parade. The food is excellent, the service is efficient and friendly. We had the egg sandwiches on their poppy-seeded Portuguese rolls. So delicious. My husband said it was the best egg sandwich he ever had!

Not much to write about. Great Cortado. Great Cruller. Everything looks and smells GREAT! My morning treat before the work day kicks in.

I was a bit skeptical before arriving at Daily Provisions due to all the hype this new cafe has received (New York Magazine). After being there and enjoying a great cup of coffee and a magnificent cinnamon cruller, I will say the hype is justified. They have a small menu but they seem to pull off very good food, desserts, and coffee albeit you need to slow down to enjoy the pace of service here. I meet Max and he is just delightful when it comes to welcoming you and taking your order. The coffee baristas are also a joy but I wish coffee would come in more than just one size ( I need the XL version personally). Pricing is definitely upscale NYC cafe but i believe the pricing is justified for what you will get. Just a few tips before you visit: Daily Provisions is on E 19 Street off Park Avenue so you need to look out for it as its a small cafe. Secondly, crullers are in Huge Demand and sell out quickly so get here by 11am if you want to secure any. If took three visits before I could secure a Maple cruller (8:05 am visit). Cash is NOT accepted here at all so bring your plastic. Daily Provisions is open from 7am-9pm weekdays and 8am-9pm Sat/Sun and is serving Breakfast and Lunch. Breakfast until 11 am, Coffee & Pastries only from 11-11:30 am, and Lunch begins at 11:30 am. Definitely worth a visit ........

Fantastic place with great service! We were visiting town and knew we wanted to try a cruller, but couldn't decide on which flavor. We asked Irish which one, and he suggested Maple, so we ordered that. When he brought us our bag, he had given us one of each (maple, cinnamon, and hibiscus) even though we were only charged for one! All three were amazing (maple was the best) and the service was fantastic. With the kindness Irish displayed, and the quality of the food, we will be back again and again!

Nice coffee shop near my office. Every morning before work went in to drink real coffee and eat one of their hot sandwiches which will be enough until lunch. I didnt check their lunch/dinner menu but it looks good. A bit hot inside for this time of year and not enogh sitting places IMO.

The best breakfast sandwich in town. Awesome spot for having a nice day starting with a good coffee!

TikTok review said they had good crullers. TikTok was correct. Tried all three and they were all great. I wouldn’t go out of your way but if your near, definitely check this place out.

OMG. My wife is still raving about the Bacon and Egg sandwich - thick flavorful bacon on an tasty bun. Don't miss the crullers, like French donuts, but better. We made pigs of ourselves with the Kouign-Amann and the Gougeres - Green Eggs & Ham. Great breakfast spot - tight.

I have been wanting to get some tasty looking doughnuts from there, but we always get there too late… Seems like their doughnuts are a bit too popular. So, we decided to go there for some real food. The inside is quite small, as this is not a restaurant, but more like a bakery/café. Altogether, maybe around 15 seats, including bar counter seats? There is a small hostess counter at the back where you put in an order of your food. She was quite efficient, friendly, and welcoming. We decided to get some sandwiches, Patty Melt and Grilled Cheese. It was brought out on a super flat plate, hard to move it around… And no utensils, get ready to get messy. Patty melt was small but very tasty, cheesy goodness! Even thought it was delicious, a bit pricy for the size. We added bacon and pepper mostarda to our Grill Cheese. This one was much bigger than the Patty Melt. Loved the sweet sauce. Perfectly grilled with a bit crispy-ness on soft bread. We enjoyed our sandwiches, they were both super delicious. A bit pricy for a sandwich, but then again, the quality was very high! Maybe one day, I will get there early enough to get one of their doughnuts…

My friend and I kicked off our day with a Bacon, Egg and Cheese from Daily Provisions: every component of it was spot on 😻 Fast, friendly service, too.

Wow I did a four square search and found this place and it was a gem. It’s always packed as it is a place that is popular. I got the OG puff pastry sandwich and yum! I also got one of their sweet rolls. What a good first breakfast in NYC for the holidays!

This place puts out the best bacon and egg sandwich I've ever had. Part of Union Square Cafe, I'm not surprised. Only issue is it's $6 before tax for a small sandwich! Highly recommended though. Coffee is great here too.

My favorite breakfast in NYC. Bacon & egg sandwich with a hot sauce. Delicious. Great Concept. Nice coffee. Doughnuts wow.

Crullers at Daily Provisions are sublime. Tender and oozing with flavor I have eaten more than my fair share. Opened in 2017, I was in line every week and had studied the menu so I knew what to order. Now crullers are baked a few times a day but in the early days if I wasn’t there early in the morning I often shed tears. At $4.95 each these are priced high but as a treat once in a while I think it’s worth it. A few days ago I went in to get a loaf of bread only to find out that breads were retired a year ago. Cookies are popular but the lemon muffin was too soft. Whenever I feel under the weather or when I have returned from a trip abroad Daily Provisions is the first place I order from. Soup and the chicken salad sandwich are my two special orders. They also participate in Too Good To Go and once I picked up a bag. The interior can get crowded in the mornings with people ordering breakfast items (bacon, egg & cheese considered to be the best in the City). Outdoor seating is also there and during the summer months it is pleasant to enjoy the food.

Got here just in time. Place was packed, and it's obvious why. The people were friendly, and the food. We had breakfast sandwiches, and this has by far been the best breakfast of the trip. The roll was soft and warm, the sausage was nicely spiced and the cheese was yummy. The latte was solid too. Will definitely come back in the summer when I can get the food to go and sit in Union Square.

I'm not a doughnut expert, but I do love them. On this trip to New York I tried Peter Pan's in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (a strong 7/10), Doughnut Plant (8/10), Du's Donuts (Williamsburg, Brooklyn) - 5/10, and last and best was the cinnamon cruller at Daily Provisions (10/10). The maple one is also excellent but I have a soft spot for cinnamon. The doughnuts are crisp on the outside, and melty and buttery in the middle. Really superb. We also had the avocado on toast with a fried egg (delicious) and a stuffed gougere with green eggs (also delicious) and an egg sandwich for my son. The service was great, slick and professional. Good value for Manhattan.

Daily Provisions is hardly visible from Park Avenue and walking by you could blink and miss it. Once inside, the place is built for the breakfast or lunch rush - very few chairs, high tables and high tech ordering. The breakfast menu is small but offers variety and fun. The service was very friendly and efficient. I had a Gougère and my friend the breakfast sandwich. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and the coffee good. The food was thoughtful, original, tasty and fast and for $11, good value. It's not true that good food has to be slow, just well made and well conceived. This is that.

It's a hole-in-the-wall about a block off Union Square. Danny Meyer's Daily Provisions was a fun find! It's mostly a walk-in, walk-out kind of place, with only limited dine-in seating options. The queue on Sunday morning was long, but worth the wait. NOTE: They stopped serving breakfast promptly at 11:00 -- actually took down the menu. We shared two items: Smoked salmon with whipped ricotta -- delicious! And, a traditional breakfast sandwich (egg, gouda and sausage on brioche-like bun), which was very satisfying. We took a kouign-amann to go -- basically a sweet puffy pastry sans filling -- and shared it at the airport on our way out of town later that day, just to keep the positive memories of our visit going! I would DEFINITELY hit Daily Provisions again next time we're in/around Union Square!

Great hidden gem for New York City food. All sandwiches are incredible tasty and well balanced. Try the baguette as well.

This small restaurant offers a full service breakfast, lunch and dinner. I heard about their crullers and had to stop by to try one or two. I sampled the maple and glazed editions. The Crullers are melt in your mouth, sinful goodness, but expect it to hit your pocket book for $3.50 each. This little café/restaurant offers a welcoming, friendly staff, free Wi-Fi, self-serve tap water, and cash is NOT accepted here (plastic only). A tasty treat. Recommended.

i think the best take out sandwiches in nyc right now... milanese super..salads great... moderate prices no cash... go go go

This is my new favorite healthy weeknight dinner delivery spot. It’s known for breakfast/day/pastry, but I actually love them for dinner bc it’s hard to find a high quality everyday salad delivery spot like this. The kale salad and wheat berry salad with salmon on top is SO GOOD. Love the brussel sprouts too. It’s awesome they have family style meals where you can order a salad for 4 and then add protein of choice on top (for me salmon). Every ingredient is high quality - LOVE.

The space is small the line is long but they have a good system for moving things along. They also have a couple of seats at the coffee bar and several by windows and off to the side. If you're lucky, you can sit down and despite the traffic, enjoy your coffee and cruller. So good.

Delicious!! Salad was very fresh tasting and a decent portion. Not a bad price. Cute and cozy atmosphere, but also busy at the same time. Staff was really friendly. Great place for quick lunch or coffee meetup.

What a lovely place! I feel so fortunate that we found it. Excellent food, the granola with fruit and yogurt in particular. Great coffee, attentive servers. I plan to have breakfast there whenever I am in that neighborhood.

We stop by during our book shopping day, we had grilled cheese with big bacon chunks ( delicious). The food was great, small, clean place to catch a breath if you are around union square.

NY sorely lacks good bread. Even more than it lacks good coffee. So to find a place that has both is very rare. We enjoyed a long breakfast today as we kept ordering more. It was all so tasty. Reasonable prices too.

Ever feel like a good breakfast sandwich and coffee would do the trick to get your day started? If you find yourself in the Big Apple, then head over to Daily Provisions located at 103 E 19th St, just off of Park Ave and 19th St. Freshly made breads, great ingredients, and smooth coffee. Can't wait to visit this place again on my return to NYC.
Bacon as it is meant to be
I was told the bacon breakfast sandwich was one of those "try before you die" foods. After one bite, that statement is almost not hyperbole. The bacon is cooked low and slow to give it that brisket-like texture. Crusted with pepper and salt. And we're not talking little limp stripes but nice slabs of bacon. This is how all bacon should be.
