Extremely slow service, very loud ambience for luncheon and expensive mediocre cuisine (the meatball sub was very disappointing ). Very poor dining value. Eat somewhere else, anywhere else.

Dolce at the W is an amazing Italian restaurant. They scored with the Chef and the design. You can enter from the street or from the lobby at the W. It maintains the sWagger of the W. Love it. Also easy walk from convention center if you are entertaining clients

Excellent food and service! We had the salmon for secondi Very good! Wine list is excellent. Service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations were needed as it is always busy.

Visited Philly for Thanksgiving and tried the $80 per person buffet here for dinner. The food was good but somewhat limited in quantity and desserts were disapointing in that they were not being restocked regularly. For the price, I thought that a small glass of champagne or wine would have been offered but was not. I was disappointed but fortunately family was not so it worked out but i would look for another location if we head to Philly next year for the holiday.

I went in just for some dessert, and it was truly delicious. I had the chocolate cake with pistacchio-flavored gelato. The desserts that others had looked amazing too (I tasted some of the chocolate chip cookie too). Would want to go back rightaway if I could!

Everything about this meal was excellent! The breakfast choices were lovely. The food was fresh and well prepared. The price was right. What really shined was the service. Glenn, our server couldn't be better! He was kind, responsive, and along with the stellar kitchen staff, he was very quick! There were a couple of "variations" or subs that we requested. The order came spot on, even with our nuanced substitutes. Eggs, fruits, home fries, toast, oatmeal, all was cooked and prepared to perfection. Oh, the décor and cleanliness, too, were all top notch! Gee, I wonder what the lunches and dinners are like there. Next time I am in that neighborhood, I'll have to stop by and find out. I recommend you do the same!

The Hotel ambience was great, the staff was wonderful. The food was great, reasonably priced, no pictures, the music was danceable in your seat. Our Waiter made sure we were Happy and Full service was Phantasamorical. Yeah I know my spelling is off. But DOLCE was A-1. 💯♥️

Visited as a group of 9 people after trying to reserve at other restaurants, most being fully booked because of the convention in town. Reasonably priced menu and wine selection. Servers were quite accommodating of our needs.

Fabulous culinary experience from start to finish! Jason, General Manager, and his team Elvis, Redian, Gertzi and Ana demonstrated hospitality and customer service at its’ best! They took good care of us the whole time! Thank you to all! Justin’s espresso martinis were delicious! Dolce and LDV Hospitality are very fortunate to have such an excellent team! Jason, again we thank you for your warmth and attention throughout our meal. What a “sweet” experience!

Service was very slow because of not enough staff. Food was marginal, and portions were relatively small. The manager was accommodating by getting us a table for a large party, but we were quite disappointed in the overall experience and the food.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my family at Dolce. From start to finish, the service and suggestions were spot on. Everything we ordered was delicious. Please do not leave without trying their polenta. I am still dreaming about it...lol. We will definitely return : )

We got some pizzas at work from here and they were quite good! Thick crust, flavorful toppings, I would come back for sure.

Although we booked a table in advance when we arrived we were looked at as if we had 2 heads each for some reason. When our table was ready we were shown to a table in a high traffic area. We saw an open table in a quieter part of the restaurant and we were able to see there was no reserve sign on it but when we asked if we could sit there instead, all we got was a ‘’no’’. We started with the beef carpaccio and octopus as a starter. The octopus was really good our daughter wanted more so we ordered a second helping. The beef carpaccio was okay. Wish it has some Parmesan flakes over it and a bit seasoning as it was a bit bland. I had the rosemary chicken which was really good. A nice flavor on the well cooked skin of the chicken. Wife had that Branzini which she thoroughly enjoyed too and our daughter had a salad. The octopus was really good and that is what made the meal for us. Just wish the staff can be a bit more less ‘snooty’ an be more welcoming to guests.

The spaghetti was dry and had been pre-cooked as it had a stiff straw-like texture , not edible and no proper attempt made of the requested sauce.. very poor! The side of potatoes had the “pre-cooked texture and quality. The salmon was fine. Value for money was poor overall.
Dolce - casual and special
Dolce Philadelphia I only do this when everything is exceptional. Dolce is exceptional. Elvis and “forgive my spelling”, Redden? Went out of their way to make the evening memorable, but not just at our son’s graduation dinner, but every time we visited. That’s just the service, the food is also top notch and the wine list is reasonable, with excellent selections at fair prices. We scoped out several restaurants during February and March to find a suitable spot for the graduation dinner. Our table had fourteen guests and we didn’t want to go the route of family style. We wanted all of our guests the feel free to choose whatever they wanted form the menu. There were menu changes from our previous visits. Dolce has probably the best polenta that we’ve ever had, or at least in the top 5. The polenta had been removed from the menu, but Elvis was able to deliver it and our guests were amazed by it. All of the home made pastas are incredible, and while the simple spaghetti with tomato sauce is the least expensive item on the pasta list, Redden recommends it as his favorite, and it didn’t disappoint. After having tasted almost everything on the menu, I opted for an item that I usually would not choose, the black cod, and it too was worthy of praise. So not only is the food really great, the service is impeccable, and the prices very reasonable. If I had to complain about anything, it is that you can’t reach anyone form the Philadelphia restaurant by phone. Everything is via web and email. While this works, sometimes you just want a voice confirmation. To be clear, there are no negatives about this place, and if you search for history of my reviews, you will find very few. I only do this when everything is exceptional. Keep up the good work Dolce Regards – Tom Romeo
