Great takeout

By Susan E |

The sandwiches at Duke Eatery are expensive, as is everything in NYC but they sure are delicious. and huge. One would have easily fed 2 people. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was spicy and flavorful.

Absolutely loved this place!

We were recommended to eat here by the doorman at our hotel, it’s just around the corner. This place is amazing,so much choice. We ate here most days,at different times.,food to suit everyone. The staff were friendly and charming. A must place to eat. You won’t be disappointed. You pay for the quantity by weight so it can be any price!

Get a smoothie here

Really really great smoothies. Open all the time. Reasonably priced. Also decent tuna salad. I am going again.

Fantastic Food

We visited NY at the end of February for my Birthday, we stayed at a hotel near, we found dukes and so glad we did, amazing omelette for breakfast and we had a fish Ramen one evening, which was equally as nice, being English I love my cup of tea, a great selection, Staff friendly, when I visit again I will certainly be eating here again and highly recommend it.

Super local deli

By Christine L |

This place is truly super. I'm a regular traveller to New York City and in fact used to be a big fan of Treehaus on 3rd Avenue, which sadly is no more, and have been in search of a deli close to where I stay on Lexington where I could get breakfasts and lunches. OMG, Duke is just exactly what I've been looking for and more. First off, it's open 24 hours. So, as a Brit who wakes up at 5am the first few mornings, it's no problem to head out to Duke and get some early breakfast and coffee. The selection even early in the day is great. All kinds of eggs, meats, bagels, muffins, French toast... Lunch is good too. There are two rows of fabulous buffet food, all beautifully presented and super-tasty. I'd say prices too are very reasonable. This is all topped by the friendliness and the service ethic of the staff. The folks working on the deli first thing are particularly great. I've been in two mornings now and the one guy remembered my order from the first day. The folks on the till are just as smiley. This is a keeper!

Fantastic Sushi, breakfast and fruit

By ennio09 |

We spent a week in the Lotte towers nearby ad came here several times for breakfast and lunch or to take some food with us. We had pan cakes, fruit plates, oatmeal, sushi .... Independently what we took- it was delicious. Next time in NYC we will come back

GREAT VALUE BREAKFASTS

By ROBERT K |

I was staying at The Maxwell Hotel about 200 yards away, but I am not a fan of hotel breakfasts and was pleased to have found Dukes. Great selection. Fresh fruit, oatmeal. Full range of cooked products. A bagel with cream cheese and lox for around 4 dollars. Open 24 hours so if you are peckish pop in later.for snack or Asian style food.

Convenient and high quality

By aniram |

High quality bodega with wide variety of options any time of the day. Perfect bacon egg and cheese with avocado with an iced mocha 🙏

Wrong sauce being used with calamari!

By ARV |

Please change the sauce being used with the calamari. It's salsa! This place is a little pricey but overall the food is good. Keep the door closed on cold days. Sitting area is freezing and can't enjoy food.

A God send!

Stay in midtown you will quickly notice not many places are open very late. Amazing option referred to by our hotel front desk agent. Cannot thank him enough. I don’t like pizza so this was my late night go to for some healthy options.

Healthy and affordable!

By bkute65 |

This is a very affordable place to get a healthy meal. Many choices of fresh soups and salads. They have a multitude of sandwiches and hot dishes and sushi too. It’s conveniently near the Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. We had the California Cobb salad and the lentil soup. Both were delicious 😋. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The tables to eat were downstairs and it is was nice, clean and quiet down there. Unfortunately there are no elevators, so it would be a challenge for someone with mobility issues. Still HIGHLY recommended!!

Great for fast, good food

By Julia B |

This place is large and has a huge variety from egg sandwiches, to soup, to lunch sandwiches, to sushi, assorted bakery products and bagels, and beverages.

Breakfast Cappuccino and muffins

By Busatti |

We came here by chance looking for something to have breakfast. Not attracted by the fact that it was a kind of canteen, we were struck by finding an area dedicated to a sweet breakfast with good cappuccino and equally good muffins.

Good local eatery

By johelas1 |

This was round the corner from our hotel and served a variety of foods from breakfast , salad bar and food stations ( sandwiches , noodles and other specialty). For takeaway or eat in. Clean , fresh food and reasonable price

Great selection

By Eric K |

Favorite place to grab breakfast or lunch from the serve yourself salad bar. Lunch selections include 1 hot table (fish, various types of meat and poultry) and vegetables. With another for cold salads, at peak times there are usually fish and various vegetable salads. Additionally there are sections for just salad, sandwiches, etc.

Sensational range of fresh foods

My wife and I popped in here for lunch with our son on our last day visiting him in New York.We just wanted something light and fresh. We were greeted with a myriad of options.Highly recommended

Great find!!

By shazw23 |

This place literally has everything you can possibly imagine for any meal of the day! Fresh and hot buffet- fantastic range of breakfasts and steaming hot strong coffee. We ordered burgers from the counter- veggie for me and bacon with cheese for the hubby. We had to wait about five-ten minutes for it to cook but my god it was worth the wait. Hot, fresh and so tasty it was amazing!!!! If we had been staying in the city longer we would have revisited for sure!!

Horrible

By Luis M |

It was our first night in NY and we came here to eat something fast. Such a bad place. The food was cold, it all tasted like plastic. Every time someone opened the door the air came and the napkins and everything blew. I don’t recommend it in any way...

Exactly what it should be

By chuckcocke |

We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there during our stay. Good variety, healthy with a leaning toward Asian. Great sandwiches, snacks and pastries. Plus, it’s well lite and clean.

A real Deli

By Ian G |

Guided to this Deli by our Hotel doorman. Almost became our local. Real New York Deli. Name your favourite food and you will probably find it. Excellent quality and value for money, for New York. Open really early till really late. Hot, cold, fresh sarnies - wraps and excellent coffee. Well worth a visit if you are in the Upper East Side - near St. Patrick's Cathedral.

I always ask hotel staff about nearby lunch places. This place is combo deli, buffet, corner store. Hit the spot. Great prices and good food.

Brilliant Deli!

Love coming here for breakfast. So much choice and at a very reasonable price for NYC. Its also really clean and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Perfect breakfast spot

By 500Maria |

Very good breakfast place. Everything is there and it's quick. You need to know what to wear when ordering, you can’t stand and want to. You can also buy lunch and dinner here, there are large buffets, but these I have not tried.

Great First Night Option

By 3CALS |

This was a great place to grab dinner on our first night in NYC. It’s open 24 hrs so no matter what time you fly in and check into your hotel, you can grab something here when everything else is closed. The selection is huge in terms of what you can get. My husband and I bought sushi. The sushi was grocery store quality but for a quick option it was good enough. I wonder how the other food they offer holds up. We definitely would try this place again to see how the quality of the other foods are.
