Went here for Sunday brunch. Make reservations, because this place is busy! There was live music with a great band that provided a nice ambience. The decor was also stunning. I got the bottomless brunch with “Dutch Punch” it was nice to have a change from mimosas, but it was a little sweet. They give you your own personal pitcher which is about 4 drinks, it was generous for 25$ and you could probably get more if you can finish that. Food came out really fast. I had the avocado smash, which was ok but it was cold. It was kind of weird having a cold egg and cold toast. I think I would’ve like it a lot more if the avocado was a little warmed up. My boyfriend had chicken and waffles which he liked but it was a little dry. All in all I enjoyed the experience!

I visited here before seeing a Broadway show for brunch. It is perfect in evey way!!!! The service, food, the atmosphere and live music. The server was perfect. Food served in a timely manner. The food was delicious. I had a fried chicken sandwich with a side salad. I savored every bite. My friend had a spinach salad with chicken and she said it was very good. The coffee was wonderful. The 3 musicians as i entered were lovely. The singer had the most beautiful voice. The bar area is very large with plenty of seating and an electrical outlet and hook for every person at the bar. Hook for bag and of course an outlet to keep the cell phones charged. The bar is beautiful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming and comfortable. I will most definitely return to this place...i cant wait to return. The prices were around $18 for brunch. You definitely get your money's worth. I was seated in the middle section of the restaurant. I liked it because you could hear the music, but you also could hear each other. The front is great, but might be a little loud for a conversation. The rear of the restaurant is nicely decorated...but you will not be able to see the beautiful bar and hear the music well. I met the manager to tell her how wonderful my brunch experience was. (Even the bathroom was great...very clean, beautiful scented candle and decorated) Summary: EXCELLENT!!!!

Great brunch and cocktails before our show. Our waitress was excellent and didn’t rush us. The food was yummy. Loved the vibe!

This was a fun, lively atmosphere with a very interesting and unique cocktail list. So many fun options! The food was adequate, and served our needs, but it was not the highlight. The chicken fingers were rather bland, and not exactly crispy. Id go here again, but stick to just the awesome drinks!

I was there for Sunday brunch and we waited over 30 minutes for our order. Owner/maire d" complimented our drinks. The food, when it came was good and plentiful. The noise level is very high. This place is really for drink rather than eating, in my opinion. Brunch menu is very reasonable.

Nice space and tavern/pub type feel. Steps from New World Stage so very convenient. Only ate 2 items off the menu so really didn’t try the full extent of the menu. Ate chicken wings (good) and margaritas pizza (undercooked). Good beer selection.

We dropped by prior to seeing a matinee on broadway and it was a convenient and tasty choice. The place is a bit loud but all the food was good and it came to our table in a reasonable amount of time. Try the egg and bacon Sammie or the egg and avocado. They have gluten free bread if you need. Be aware that for brunch you can’t order off the regular menu. And the don’t serve iced coffee. So order a coffee and a glass of ice. Don’t ask me why. Enjoy!

Got a pre-show dinner here at 6pm on a Saturday and it was packed, no seats at the bar or tables. It's fairly loud but the atmosphere was fun, friendly staff, good service. The Hell is a Mild Climate cocktail was fantastic, like a fancy, spicy Paloma...really tasty. We had the everything pretzels, the eggplant chips, and the brisket flatbread. The pretzels were fresh and tasty, the mustard was delicious but the cheese sauce was watery and bland. The eggplant chips were AMAZING. Go just for this dish. Thin slices of eggplant with a tempura-like batter, served with a maple syrup (they say it's clover honey but it sure tasted like maple syrup) dipping sauce - we could have eaten 3 orders of it, so delicious. The flatbread fell flat...scattered pieces of brisket with some diced veggies...it wasn't anything to go back for. But overall the prices were well worth it.

Love the drinks and bartenders here. The Whiskey Sour is proper and one of the best I've had in the City. The Bramble was also delicious. Drinks are proper here! The food is also very good. Not a lot of choices but all were tasty and somewhat different choices. I could eat the lamb sliders all day. This place can get very crowded and noisy, especially on weekends but still a great choice for a good drink. To avoid the crowds just come early in the evening!

Nice meal. Busy joint the night we went. Great local vibe. Nice service. Reasonable rices. Great atmosphere. If I lived in Hell’s Kitchen I would be here often. If you are visiting and staying near Times Square, are sure you stop by at least once- I think you will enjoy it.

The location was wonderful, walking distance from Time Square and Central Park (about 15 minutes). It's in a little street but easy to find, the food was yummy and the drinks were great. We sat by the window which was open and the breeze felt even better.

The food and atmosphere where really great but the service was decent at best. Our waitress visibly rolled her eyes in our face and hardly ever came to check on the table but the manager seemed to be running around making up for the servers ineptitude. The food was great but a little expensive for the small potions they servered. We got the bottomless brunch drinks and would for sure recommend the Dutch’s Punch over the Mimosas.

My spouse and I visited Dutch Fred’s for dinner on a Sunday evening in mid-February 2020. Dutch Fred’s is open daily for dinner, drinks, and late night, as well as for lunch on Tuesdays through Fridays and brunch on weekends. Guests can book a spot using the online Open Table reservation system. Dutch Fred’s opened in 2016 on West 47th Street near 8th Avenue in Midtown West/Theatre District/Hell’s Kitchen. The restaurant gets its name from a policeman who named the neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen when he witnessed a riot there during the time of prohibition. The owners of Dutch Fred’s also operate other Manhattan bars/restaurants including the Mean Fiddler, Tanner Smith’s, Haswell Green’s, Three Monkeys, and Vida Verde. The restaurant space offers table seating in the front, a long, busy, and buzzing bar in the middle (with high-top tables adjacent), and a more quiet dining room in the rear. Old photographs, tile floors, tin ceilings, interesting lighting, and wood-paneled walls complete the décor. Dutch Fred’s serves Continental cuisine. We shared three dishes: the pork belly bao buns (with cucumbers and kimchi mayo), the Thai deviled eggs (an interesting presentation, with half eggs perched atop tiny slices of toast and layered sneakily with Jalapeno slices), and the arugula flatbread (with goat cheese, sundried tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar). We originally ordered the Mediterranean flatbread (with ham, mozzarella, peppers, tomatoes, onion, artichokes, and olives), but our server soon returned to say that they were out of that item. We were pleased with the extensive food menu offered, because we had previously passed on visiting this establishment when we researched it online because we thought it was primarily a drinking establishment (and while it does offer a nice menu of craft cocktails, beer, and wine, it also offers lots of food choices). We enjoyed our meal at Dutch Fred’s, and we will likely return next time we are attending a theatre show nearby.

Fantastic place in Hells Kitchen, bar staff are amazing, lively friendly atmosphere, cocktails are gorgeous....you need to go..

This was our last meal in New York before heading home. It's a bar with a 1910s-style, decorated with mosaic tile floors, framed portraits of Fred himself and flat screens showing black-and-white films. It's a Wonderful Life was playing during our lunch. We ordered: -Ahi Tuna: We are from the west coast and we were pleasantly surprised how good this dish tasted with avocado and seaweed salad. By far one of the best Ahi Tuna we ever had! -chicken & waffle: the syrup had siracha which my hubby loved. He said the buttermilk gravy wasn't needed. But still enjoy this dish immensely. - turkey burger: this burger visually instagram worthy! It's a high stacked burger and super delicious. Must try! - deep fried ice cream: not super sweet but a sweet. A nice crunch with ice cream. Delicious! I would come back next NY trip for dinner and try out their infamous cocktails. Until then!

Stopped in for a post theatre cocktaiil and highly recommend. Great bar service with interesting and a variety of cocktails. RrrNoBaBbBarBartenders are

This is the place where you want to go for Sunday Brunch!!! Great Food, Great Drinks and Great Live Music. I had Steak & Egg and Tres Leches French Toast to share. They were amazing and having bottomless Mimosa (90 min) was also a good thing. The service was good, they were very attentive and nice. What made it even special was the live music, it felt like having a great brunch on a lazy Sunday lol Unfortunately the place was a little bit noisy so we couldn’t really enjoy the live music :( Other than that, I would recommend to visit this place for Brunch.

Came for brunch. Service was slow, I think our server had too many tables and was overwhelmed. Food was not great, had the steak and eggs benedict. Steak was over cooked and hollandaise was a think gloppy mess. Maybe they were having an off day.

Went pre-theatre for drinks and to "check' it out for possible after show meal. Cocktail selection very good and the ones we tried were perfect. After show food and again cocktails very good and not overpriced considering the area. Big plus- kitchen open till 2 AM. Seating arrangements good, lighting dark enough (thank you very much) good size bar and decent music. Would and will be going back again.

Great location cloe to Time Square, very spacious and amazing wine and spirit selection. the food and Service was outstanding. We loved it.

Very nice place located in the midtown area, we ate hamburgers with excellent quality meat, served with egg, side dishes and sauces. fast service and friendly staff, price in line with Ny🩷 To try

Service, drinks and food were Awesome.. as advertised..tastes as good as it looks. Great Vibe...Came here for supper before going to see Hamilton.. just a short and pleasent walk from the theater, from Brodway and anywhere in Time Square area...

An excellent brunch, stellar staff, fun vibe and convenient location. Eclectic & creative menu that doesn’t disappoint in flavor.

I loved this little stop. We stopped in for a quick bite after a late night and it was so festively decorated and everyone there seemed to be having a such a good time. I loved the atmosphere! Food was great, drinks were lovely, can’t complain!

My wife and I were looking for a light meal after we arrived in NY and found Dutch Fred's. We were able to share a few of the small-plate items and found them to be delicious, satisfying tastes. Combined with great cocktails and good service this is a great drinks / dinner venue with friends.

My best friend and I stayed nearby and came here for a nightcap. The drink list is a problem - everything looks so good that it's hard to pick. There's no way to go wrong though, because everything we got, we loved. The decor is gorgeous and feels worlds away from being around the corner from Times Square.

Amazing atmosphere, very busy and still managed to find us a seat. Overall the food and drinks were amazing but a little confusing regarding allergens, I am coeliac and had to go back and forth several times with the server and manager who both had conflicting information regarding what I could and couldn’t eat. The manager advised me there was a separate fryer but when the server took my order she told me that she is also coeliac and has never eaten any of the things I ordered as she has never known there is a separate fryer (not sure how she wouldn’t know this). Asides from the confusion and around 20 mins discussing the food was really nice and we would definitely go back.

We sat outside, but the peak I had inside looked good as well. The drink card is good and there are a lot of interesting looking choices. The drinks are beautifully served and very delicious. I would come back

Great food, great drinks. Shared 4 small bites and everything was really good, all hot and brought to us at the same time.

We enjoyed our table in a back corner so we could visit with a friend over dinner. It was quiet to start early on a Saturday evening, but as the evening progressed the noise level became very loud. I guess that's not unusual for a place in the theater district, but made it hard to converse. The food and drinks were all good and our server was very efficient.

Off to a show and we needed some food and drinks. Loved the decor and great cocktails. Great vibe and happy, friendly service by a lovely British girl named Enrica. Next time in town will definitely be back.

Just went there formdrinks last night with my wife and we really enjoyed this place. Cosy athmosphere, great barmaids. I recommend this place.

I will totally blame it on our friends. Reservation was at 11am and our friends showed up at noon. They put the reservation into their iPhones in the Central time zone and then went to NYC. apple in all ltheir wisdom changed it until noon. We were on our 3rd carafe of bottomless mimosas when they showed up. The staff was gracious and supported us in our situation. We eventually had a GREAT brunch and survived one more play (Mean Girls). Awesome location and good food (and live music for brunch.)

Good location for theater district. Good food but limited choices for a meal. More apps and drinks kind of place. Crowded and loud, partly due to volume of music pumped through the place. Service was attentive. “Out of” a few signature drinks.

What a simply fabulous bar, awesome beers, great staff and some lovely clientele. Interesting range of local and international beers and great cocktails, all mixed together with a great atmosphere and simply superb staff, it’s worth going just to put the world to rights with Frankie!

Great selection of drinks, we tried a few different cocktails which were all different! Great atmosphere and music. We sat at the bar, attentive service plus hooks under the bar which are always a plus point for me! Also had some small bites which were nice

They have such a unique cocktail menu. There is a large selection. Everything I have tried is good. The food is also good. Such a cute place

Step in this bar on a cloudy afternoon, asked for a cocktail with citrus flavour and the bartender came up with a perfect cocktail, also ordered a Mezze as a snack and that tasted good to.

We called in Dutch Fred’s for a drink. It has an awesome bar and equally awesome team ready to serve you. It was a friendly place where everyone was made to feel welcome. They had an extensive drinks menu; one of those that if a regular you might start at the top and work your way down over a period of time. Although we didn’t eat at Dutch Fred’s the menu look very appetising. We enjoyed our visit to Dutch Fred’s very much.

More bar than restaurant so the menu was pretty basic and limited. Overall, pleased with the food but not exceptional. Service was also a bit slow. We would probably go back to give it another try.

We stopped in for a group dinner (5 people) before a show on a Friday night. The website says no reservations between 5pm & 8pm so we arrived right at 5 to be sure to get a table. The hostess acted annoyed that we (5 middle age or older) ladies were there and said she couldn’t seat more than 4 people. She insisted we should have had a reservation for our “large party” (which they don’t take and 5 people is an average family, not a large party). She basically dismissed us and refused to care even a little until we got a manager. The manager sat us and apologized and insisted she’d correct the hostess, but based on other reviews, that correction hasn’t happened. The food was okay, nothing memorable. The place filled up with young, trendy people getting off work and going out for drinks, and it became clear that we were ruining their aesthetic and that was the reason for the hostess’ rudeness. If you’re not a young, cute, single thing, go somewhere else.

I was very pleased with quality of the service, food, and cocktails! Our party of 5 was seated almost immediately, although we visited mid-week and for a fairly early dinner (around 5:45pm). The server was attentive and prompt in checking in with the table. The cocktails were crafted with high quality mixers and the food was delicious! In fact, every person in our party commented on how much they enjoyed each appetizer and entree. I would return to Dutch Freds without hesitation the next time I am in NYC and near Time’s Square.

A friend and I visited this busy spot before catching a play. Even though they were very crowded, we were able to be seated and eat in less than an hour and a half. We started at the bar with the "Kinky Boots" cocktail. Delicious. After we were seated we ordered three things to split: Eggplant chips (OMG), dry rub chicken wings and pear and goat cheese salad. The eggplant chips came out first. They are ADDICTIVE! Thin and light, dusted with sea salt and served with honey to dip them in. Shortly after, we got the wings and salad. Both were very good. We were too full to contemplate dessert. We were looking for somewhere close to our theater. Fortunately, Dutch Fred's was the place. Would definitely return.

Stopped in for a drink on Saturday morning. This place was great. If you are looking for a cool vibe, great drinks, and excellent service, this place is for you. We didn't eat but the food looked solid. What was super was I wanted a specific cocktail not on the menu, the bartender pulled the recipe up on the web and executed it perfectly. So well in fact I had two. if i lived lcally this would be a go to spot for me.

We enjoyed cocktails here with friends, not inside, but at one of there outdoor seating areas. The waitstaff was very attentive, the drinks were great and we definitely will come back again. Great location, fun vibe!

Went here for dinner on a Monday. No reservations needed if you get there by 5:30. The place was dark, the bar was loud, and the service slowed down once it got busier, but the food was very good. My friend and I shared the cauliflower tacos, fried chicken sandwich, and the fries with cheese and gravy. The tacos were tasty, the chicken was tender, and the fries were like the American version of poutine. All very flavorful. Average prices for NYC. Walking distance to Times Square.

We went for number one in the area. It was ok, but nothing out of the ordinary. The decor was great and the service very good. But food very plain.

Myself, hubby&son ate here last week,it was our first time in New York. What a beautiful classy bar that have the yummiest chicken wings and chicken sandwich! They have an extensive cocktail menu also. The staff were so friendly and the place was spotless would highly recommended.

Great cocktails and service. Didn't expect to find somewhere this good so close to Times Square. Good for a pre dinner drink I'd say although a lot of patrons were eating. Good place

Great pub! Friendly, intimate atmosphere, but yes, a little loud. We ordered the everything pretzel, NY fries (poutine) and buffalo chicken spring rolls. All fresh. All delicious. Location is close to broadway theaters for a quick bite before our show. Known for their cocktails, try the “Red Is The New Black”. Great gin drink! Great service as well!

The house manager at a Broadway theater recommended Dutch Freds as a great neighborhood place. We did not want to eat anywhere trendy on Times Square but wanted to experience a local restaurant and were not disappointed with Dutch Freds. We ate on the appetizer menu and the food was very good. We both had a light gin cocktail with a saw request that was very refreshing. It was warm and friendly and had a very welcoming vibe. it was exactly the place we were looking for.

Stopping in on a late Friday night was great. The place was filled with people and the vibe was great. Having drinks and late night snacks was awesome. Fred's in a place not to be missed if you want good drinks and food. We sampled quite a bit of their menu. We started with wings, quacamole, flatbread pizza and their bang bang shrimp. Everything was good.

We were originally going to go to another restaurant and found this place by mistake. Gluten free food was offered, so I was made up. Burger and chips were amazing with a gluten free bun. Lovely atmosphere and staff.

Great atmosphere, had live music the Sunday we were there. Lovely, attentive staff. Food was great and very fast service for such a busy day! $25 for bottomless mimosas for 90 minutes.

We found this bar by just wandering past ...... what a great place, great staff, great drinks and cocktails, great food, and really clean!! ..... we visited a few times as it quickly became our favourite BYC bar!

Tonight my family went into NYC for a fun girls night. We were very excited about our reservation at Dutch Freds and it did not disappoint! The unique cocktails were delicious and the food was incredible. But the best part was our waitress, Mia! She was so personable and incredibly helpful. The cocktail menu has so many great options and when we asked Mia about the drinks being sweet vs. tart vs. spicy she was able to steer us in the right direction! The same went for food - she did not steer us wrong once! Thank you, Mia - you made Dutch Freds a fun and enjoyable experience!

We made lunch reservations here as my Wife and I had been staying in Manhattan for our Anniversary. We chose this location for it's neighborhood because my Son and his Girlfriend were coming into the city and staying in the area. This was an unexpected treat as we had no idea about this place. The bar is fantastic and the bartender was very friendly while we waited for them to show up. When we were seat ed out Server gave us an ample amuont of time to order as She saw we were cathcing up with each other. The food was fanatastic, We shared some chips and guacamole with Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls. For our entrees we had the Avocado Smash, Goast Cheese Salad, Chicken and Waffles and the Chicken Spinach salad. All were fantastic and very generous portions. I can't say enough about the service, it was great. I would highly recommend this establishment.

The atmosphere is friendly. We stopped back-in several times at different times of day. Each time we encountered a friendly, funny, knowledgeable and well-trained bartender who whipped up a terrific cocktail for each of us or offered a tasty beer. We stopped in for snacks at one of the visits and very much enjoyed the offerings. Nice experience without a "touristy" feel. More of a good neighborhood bar you visit with friends.

Really liked this place! Positioned ‘right in the middle’ of lots of noise and flashing lights, this quaint and calm restaurant/bar served us with food and cocktails. No rushing around or waitresses on roller skates! After a long day of touring the amazing city, we ate delicious food and got merry!

I was traveling with a friend and we had show tickets. We were meeting another friend who lives in the city. A quick change of plans meant we needed a new place to meet and Dutch Fred’s was suggested. I’m so glad it was. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the chickenpower bowl and it was very tasty. The girls even split a dessert.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. We arrived for our reservation and were seated promptly, and then waited over 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. The interesting thing was that the restaurant was not busy in any way. After I informed the host that we were still waiting, someone did come over relatively promptly. We ordered a bunch of shared plates for the table. The food came out pretty quickly. Portions were good sized and the charcuterie board was very good. The salad arrived with no dressing and no Gorgonzola cheese, but as our server never returned to ask us how our meal was, we couldn’t ask for dressing until the end of the meal.Bottom line… There are many other pubs in the area. I wouldn’t return.

My wife works for an American company and she managed to fit in a few drinks with a work college and he suggested his local Dutch Fred's. Wow what a great bar! we'd already been in NY for 4 days and were staying on the 47th street as it was and hadn't seen or noticed this bar. Great for a few drinks and kid friendly. Would highly recommend.

Our food was very good to OK. Cool looking bar! The service was quick at first but then we lost our waitress and it was service by committee. Not sure what happened there. Large selection of draft beers and we tried a few. Be forewarned it is very very loud in here at dinner time. Crowd was more 20's and 30's due to the loud noise. I had the steak sandwich and it was cooked perfectly MRare. I'd recommend it.

Great Place for Brunch! Food, Mimosas and live entertainment, what better way to start your NYC vacation.

It all looks fun enough from the outside. Attentive staff, and a decent menu. But unfortunately it just didn't deliver. I had the lamb burger and that was ok, my wife the salad. We ordered some cocktails too. It was all fine, but unremarkable. It looked promising, and it just faded. A shame really.

What can I say, I love this bar... The handsome barmen, to the beautiful hostesses. They have a wide range of craft beers which my husband loved and a great selection of wonderful cocktails for me 😁 Can't wait to get back..

We had lunch at Dutch Freds and were impressed with the food and atmosphere - staff were friendly and effective. We had a burger and a fetta salad - plus a local pale ale which was very nice. Happy to recommend them and would go back again

decent food and drinks....pretty high priced....but...it's NYC . We had several appetizers and drinks and paid just shy of $200 for a meal for 3 . Next time I would go there for drinks but probably eat somewhere else/

So loud it's hard to have a conversation, low ceilings/cheap furnishings. Decent cocktails, beer cider etc. Nice staff.

Dont pay attention to any of the reviews that aren't a 5 star, this is a cocktail bar that serves great food, so ignore the reviews about the music being too loud!!! That's what you get in a great place like this! This place was amazing, service, food, music, ambiance - all were fantastic and we will definitely be back again next time were in NYC.

Just an amazing, welcoming dutch brunch place, with tremendous attention to detail. Exemplary service and amazing food. Tried Rancheros, south western omelet, and french toast. How could I forget the bottomless drinks. Perfect Sunday.

What an amazing place! "Hell is a mild climate" is the best cocktail I've ever had! The food was also some of the best ever! Beautiful presentation, so tasty and creative! Fabulous service! Very busy and for good reason! If you are in the area, you must go!

Three of my favorite things in once place. I could not ask for more other than that but they also have a cool and friendly vibe. I had the Broadway Burger and as I have been lately trying to hit all the best burgers in NYC, this was a solid addition. My 2 friends got brunch food, breakfast tacos and the buttermilk pancake (which was a large portion). Everything was excellent. Highly recommended.

I hosted a group get together and it was a nice place to gather. I'd go early as the place got louder after 6:30. We had drinks and appetizers and it was a great pre-show happy hour. The staff was friendly and the food was tasty.

Gourmet pub filled with foodie foreigners staying near Times Square. I ordered the angus beef burger with caramelized onions, avocado and "dutch sauce" on an english muffin with a side of fries. It was delicious. If only the bartender had paid more attention to my often empty water glass, I would be singing this bar's praises. While waiting for the burger, and for a drink refill, I read through the menu and learned some interesting lore. The name "Hell's Kitchen" was bestowed on the area by a cop named Dutch Fred, who policed the rowdy speakeasy joints during the dog days of prohibition. Nowadays finding a good restaurant in Hell's Kitchen is like finding Arya Stark in a crowded King's Landing farmer's market. Dutch Fred's is the needle in the haystack.

Nice place for a drink and little bite (flatbread is delicious). Way to loud for a dinner or romanic dinner tough.

Between the loud music and conversation it was impossible to be heard for conversation without shouting. Probably should've opted for the outdoor seating--we were struck by the quiet when we left. No physical menus to be had which inconveniences anyone without a smartphone (there are people like that, honest!) Not much to choose from, I had the lamb burger and my friend had the regular burger. Both came with fries that were nice and crispy. Wouldn't opt for this place again for supper.

This place is very cool, great decor & environment to sit & have a cocktail. We hadn’t booked a table but were seated straight away. Cocktails we had were $14 each and well worth it.

We absolutely loved this place. Cool NY vibe with a beautiful bar. The service is good and surprisingly friendly. We ordered small plates. Chips and guacamole 5/5, bang bang shrimp 4/5, and potato croquettes 5/5. Excellent craft cocktails. Good craft beer selection. Wine list is solid too.

So Dutch Fred’s is known for their cocktails... we didn’t order any and that’s a good thing! We went for lunch so we didn’t feel like having drinks that early so we settled in for lunch. First thing we ordered and it was their sesame crusted ahi tuna with avocado over seaweed salad. ORDER THIS! It’s not often that I say something is a must try but it is. Usually Ahi tuna is not very flavorful but this was amazing! Avocado was fresh and the sauce over top was just the right balance of sweetness. What separated this from the rest was the seaweed salad that was on the bottom. I ordered the chicken and waffles. It was good but I could have done without the biscuit gravy?!? Yes, it didn’t need the gravy because the sriracha infused maple syrup made up for it. We also had the turkey burger. Wow! Unexpectedly good and it was massive! Slaw gave a good balance and a nice kick of acidity. Incredibly, we still had dessert. We didn’t really have room but wanted to try the deep fried ice cream. Loved the corn flake batter to add some crunchiness. So all in all, definitely eat here!

3 stars just because of the cocktail, this was 2 star but the cocktail boosted it, not very friendly staff, no atmosphere - sister venue to Tanner Smith which we gave a 5 star, if you can, go to Tanners instead

An absolutely fantastic spot! Especially for tourists! Such friendly and helpful staff and the wonderful manager Karol! The food was absolutely amazing and was one of the stand out meals of the trip! Will 100% be back next time!

We were looking for a fun place for dinner and found Dutch Fred's by accident. Fun cocktails and drinks. Service was a little slow but the atmosphere and quality of food when it came made up for it!

We visited after a broadway show. Found the atmosphere to be first class with the service and choice of drinks to be first class. The late evening meal was excellent and really enjoyed the surroundings. Will certainly drop in again the next time we are in the city

Hosted a party at Dutch Freds. The food, snack, and drinks were all great. The cocktail selection was extensive and all our guests remarked at how good they were (both in flavor and in presentation). Would definitely recommend hosting an event here or just stopping in for dinner and a drink!

We had an excellent stop at Dutch Fred's. All the drinks were inventive and expertly prepared. I would recommend the Winter Warmer or Dutch's Punch as a nice winter starter. The Espresso Yourself and Willy Wonka are a nice decadent follow-on. The bill can add up quickly, but the quality is there!

Dutch Fred's has a fantastic speakeasy atmosphere with delicious, creative cocktails. The food is tasty, and the staff is friendly. A perfect spot for a night out.

Our family really enjoyed our dinner at this cool restaurant. We ordered several different dishes and found them all very tasty! Our server was very friendly and efficient. My goat cheese arugula flatbread was great!! Highly recommend!

My Mom, her partner's daughter-in-law, and I had a great dinner here after seeing the amazing matinee show of GYPSY! Dutch Fred's was highly recommended by Sabrina at the Hilton Times Square. My Mom had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with a Beet and Steak Salad. I had the Dutch Burger and Mom's friend's daughter-in-law had the fried Chicken Sandwich. We shared the Chocolate Mousse for dessert. We loved the many Christmas decorations. The decorating is done by the staff and they told us that they add something new everyday to the decor. Abby was our server - we really enjoyed talking with her. The atmosphere here is so relaxed and we had a lovely time. You can tell that everyone who works here, loves working here. And no wonder - Dutch Fred's is a great place.

Very friendly neighborhood pub with attentive service. We just stopped in for drinks. We plan to return.

I was able to score a last minute reservation before a Broadway play and I couldn't have been happier. Not only was the location excellent - very close to our Times Square hotel AND the Shubert Theater. I had an amazing pear and goat cheese salad, that was my favorite meal of the entire weekend. The wait staff was not exceptionally attentive, but the restaurant was very busy (on a Thurs night). The cocktails were unique and absolutely delicious. Food and drinks were perhaps overpriced, but I would definitely return.

We had a wonderful pre-theatre meal here on a summer Tuesday evening. Make reservations early as it’s not a huge place and it fills up fast. The arugula flatbread was delicious!

Excellent food and amazing cocktails. Highly recommend you try their late menu and the cocktails. In my group we had Teo each and we did not have the same things because we wanted to try more cocktails.

Great brunch spot! We were there for the bottomless brunch and had a great time! The drinks came quickly and plentifully and there was even one that was served in a teacup! The food and service were also top notch, I would definitely come back

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and were met by a very rude lady at the door. We then sat ourselves at the bar and it took 5 minutes to get the attention of the bar staff who were just standing there talking to each other and ignoring the customers. There was a real sense that the staff were doing us the favours every time we had to get their attention and ask for a drink, so we left a minimal tip. The barman then rudely confronted us and told us we were expected the pay the 20% “optional” tip...we refused and then began racially assaulting us and telling us to go back to our “cheap country where we have no manners”. Like everywhere in NYC, people are nice when they think they are going to get something, but when it doesn’t work out in their favour...you see the real side.

My wife and I visited with some friends before Thanksgiving last year and we had a good time. The service was good and the cocktails were varied and had interesting recipes. Prices were good and it was very nicely decorated for Christmas, which was a plus. We only had some fries as a snack so I can't comment on the food overall, but the fries were nice. It's a good cocktail bar overall and one that we'd visit again.

Had an early reservation before the theater. Our waitress was attentive and answered questions throughly. Our drinks were tasty and the guacamole was fresh. Yum!! I had the cheese burger and fries, great taste. When we first arrived the place was quiet and conversations could be held. The place filled up after work and the noise level raised.

The staff was dismissive and disorganized when we entered even though we had a reservation. We were offered an obviously awkwardly placed table in the isle in front of the hostess stand at the entry. The table we requested was not available for us. We were told, "that table was reserved for influencers". The dishes placed in front of us were dirty. It appeared that they were taken from a dirty dish bin rather wherever they kept their clean dishes.

Great service. Stopped after a show. Manhattan and espresso martini were excellent. The best ever espresso martini actually.

We went to see a show and ended up having dinner at Dutch Fred's. It has a great ambiance and decor, a bit of a throwback vibe that's well done and some dutch flair of course! Drinks were very good, good appetizers and burgers, salads, sandwiches were all very good. Prices were fair.

Fun atmosphere! Great Drinks and bar food! Cozy - perfect sport for a pre-dinner drink or a quick bite!

Great bar and restaurant, worth a visit and Yenny the cocktail maker is the best ever 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 please make sure you visit as it’s just around the corner from the RUI plaza Times Square, we walked past it everyday and on our last day decided to go in, we were there for over 3 hours the ambience and staff were amazing.

As you enter you know you are walking into a special place. The bartender, a young man from Ireland (near 'The Cliffs of Moyer") was a pro. He made you feel at home while making outstanding cocktails. We did not eat, (all of the food that passed by looked appetizing). I can't wait to return for the full experience.

Myself and two daughters had a late lunch, what a lovely place this is! Very clean, attentive staff who are very accommodating. Food was delightful and very reasonably priced. Would certainly recommend

This is a very eclectic bar/restaurant. The decor is very quirky and the food is good. The drinks are named after theater related things, such as Ginger Rodgers and the Panic at the Disco. The drinks were good- mine was a little strong, but a very fun place.

Dutch Freds is a very reliable midtown bar. They have a good selection of craft beers and cocktails. They have big tables suitable for groups. Service is friendly. The bar snacks are quite tasty and unique (the eggplant chips were delicious). If you need a place in Hells Kitchen to meet up with your friends Dutch Freds is a solid choice.

We went to Dutch Fred[s for lunch before show. They were busy but since I arrived early I was able to get one of the last reservations. They has silent movies playing on TV screens and a band which I enjoyed. Menu for Sunday brunch is limited. I ordered baked eggs in tomato sauce. It was tasty but cast iron skillet they brought out was mostly all tomato sauce with one egg and little goat cheese and toast. I would have liked at least two eggs for this price. My friends hamburger was a nice portion but I felt over priced

We wanted a cocktail before the show and this place didn't disappoint. The decor is awesome, very cozy, wood floors, low ceilings, extra long bar along one side and lots of tables. I felt like we were in Europe. They have a large selection of cocktails so we had a difficult time reaching a decision. We finally settled on Sleepy Hollow and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Both of them were delicious! We didn't try the food here but be sure to stop in for a drink.

Nice and easy restaurant - very convenient city center location. Service was quite quick, food simple but nice. Prices are ok for New York. Overall a nice place.

Stopped off at Dutch Freds for a drink and something to eat. Place was quite busy so sat at the bar, ordered the Tuna which was nice! Bar staff were chatty and happy to recommend drinks... if you like Gin and fruit definitely try the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang! Only intended to stay for one drink ended up staying quite a bit longer due to the atmosphere! Will definitely revisit next time I’m in NYC.

We were here for drinks because they have a big bar and lots of rainbow flags for Pride Month. Very friendly and efficient service and a good table. The drinks were good.

Eh. Went for brunch, on a recommendation, but found it all completely average, on all levels. Wasn't actually interested in any of the available items on the menu (this has NEVER happened before - I love everything!) Food was OK, not great, service was indifferent - I think our food came late/cold, but I was so unexcited about it (really? who is still doing avocado toast?) that I didn't even care. That is how unexcited I was. Waitress never checked on us, took forever with the check, and the change... So, along with also bringing us the food late, I wasn't very impressed.

Food was fresh and good. Stopped in for lunch. Staff was friendly and worked together. Decor is interesting and unique.

We stopped here for dinner before a show. We went there b/c they are known for their specialty cocktails, but were so pleasantly surprised at how terrific the food is. We had the guacamole and chips for an appetizer and it was, hands down, the best guac we’ve ever had. I got the flatbread and my son had a burger, and both were delicious. Also, those cocktails were amazing! Try the Kinky Boots!

We attended a late afternoon United Solo show on 42nd and 9th and were looking for a place for drinks and light appetizers afterwards, right at the time places were filling up for the pre-theater food rush. After trying a few spots that were quieter but didn't have space, a host recommended that we try Dutch Fred's. While the restaurant was a bit louder than we were looking for, the service was great. They found a table for us in the back which was less loud than up front and we had friendly and fast service. We ordered some food to share which was generally good also.

Where do I start with Dutch Fred’s? We must have visited almost every day on our recent trip to New York. A stylish, and very elegant cocktail bar with absolutely delicious food and amazing cocktails where love and attention can be seen being shown into their drinks! All the staff and bartenders are knowledgable around cocktails and the area. Many a drunken conversation was had with them. It gets a bit busy later in the evening, but we spent our time at the bar so never really struggled to get a table. Try the Chicken and Waffles, Breakfast Taco and the Steak for Brunch! Delicious! As for cocktails; try the Hogwarts Express and Kinky Boots - absolute classics! If a cocktail with a kick is for you try the Pimpers Paradice 🌶 spicy but delicious. Go before a show, and I guarantee you’ll want to return again and again! We’ll be back again soon!

My wife and I stayed quite close to this bar.so when we landed and checked in we went to get a beer and stumbled on what was to become our local bar stoping in before and after our night out. Great service great staff. Great bar food. Worth the visit.

Great location for sure. Very busy with tables outside but maybe not enough staff. Ordered off the smalls menu and was very pleased with our choices. Plenty big enough as a meal. Staff was friendly but got our drink order wrong and delivered the side of fries cold. When he came back to ask us if we needed anything, we were already and wanted the check. Would go again as staff is in high demand and turns over frequently

I only had the lamb sliders which were deliciously flavorful. The mezcal cocktail was my favorite! Very well crafted. I was lucky enough to get one of the tables by the window. I didn’t care for the loud music but it’s expected for a bar. It would be great for a group

Found this place by chance whilst on the way to the Penn station. Me and my husband had some time before our flight and we wanted to have a last drink in one of the New York’s bars but didn’t want anything too touristy. This place is perfect. We walked in in the middle of the day to find this lovely oasis with wonderful live music, great selection of drinks, good food and great atmosphere. So pleased we made the right turn in the right place. Don’t miss it. We will be back here when next time in New York.

other than the tremendous noise level inside the bar / restaurant the food was extremely well prepared and very good. portions are adequate, service is good especially for how crowded they were (it was about 6:30 pm on a wednesday). the menu had an interesting legend on how Hell's Kitchen got its name. you felt very New York in this place. we shared the thai deviled eggs, eggplant chips and the crab cakes. we liked them all.

We really enjoyed our drinks here but having paid by card and left a cash tip it ruined our night to discover a 20% tip had been applied to our payment even though we had signed off on the bill and left a cash tip. Dishonest and essentially theft! I wouldn’t go back here because of this!

Fun, entertaining sunday brunch before our broadway matinee. Live music a huge plus, highly recommend the bottomless bloody mary and hangover fries! Variety in dishes that offer something for everyone - from hummus salad to burritos to pancakes -all hit the spot. Service was on point, attentive, and prompt. Will definitely return.

Lovely atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyable meal- band bang prawns excellent. I'd definitely return. Happy and helpful staff.

Hanging out in New York City for my (at the time) girlfriend's birthday and we are always on the hunt for bottomless mimosas in the best city in the world! So we did our usual Yelp due-diligence ultimately finding... Dutch Fred's. Here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: We came here with our friend Aaron who's always down for action so we made reservations which were promptly honored when we arrived. The restaurant is in a more elongated setting like a lot of big city establishments are. It's difficult to describe decor here, but I would say, "modern tavern" is what it felt like. Tile floors, a generic ceiling, some wood paneling and a single row of lights illuminates the entire restaurant, but not too brightly. The left side of the interior is the bar rail with booths and other tabletop seating sprinkled throughout. Service: I couldn't tell you who took care of me this time, but I'm sure if I had an issue I would've remembered. I know she was a lot of fun. Food: I mmmeeeaaannn... do we really care about the food is the mimosas are flowing? The short answer is yes, but the long answer is the more mimosas you have the less you care. Lol. However, the Breakfast Flatbread was delightful. I needed the carbs so it's a flatbread consisting of a mozzarella/cheddar cheese mix, chorizo, sausage, caramelized onions, red pepper and topped with 2 sunny-side-up eggs. I ain't want my pizza THAT messy so I swapped the sunny-side-up action for some scrambled eggs. Like I said, delightful, filling and flavorful. The mimosas were on point and no too juicy at all. The Dutch's Punch was actually pretty refreshing as well. Value: It's New York City, but peep game... $30.00 gets you unlimited mimosas, bloody marys and Dutch's Punches for "90 minutes". However, you do need to purchase an entree so you're probably looking at around $70.00 max out the door per person including taxes and tip. Not terrible in the grand scheme of what you get! In conclusion, I loved this place and had a great time hanging out here! I look forward to paying this place another visit in the near future!

We stumbled upon Dutch Fred’s coz it looked so cute and cozy from outside- so glad we went in! Sat at the bar for a few drinks before we sat to eat. I had the first decent margarita I’ve been served in a week of being in the states (thank you so much!!!) and even mum who doesn’t drink ordered a gin cocktail with celery bitters- she loved it. Food was good and came out promptly and the service was good too- particularly the girl behind the bar with long curly dark hair- sorry I’m terrible with names! You were wearing a black crop top and red suspenders working Saturday 9/7. You were so cool and chatty, we loved being served by you! So good we ate there twice, the second night being awesome too. Thank god someone in this country knows how to make a margarita!! I’d almost lost hope.

Came after the show for drinks and were quite satisfied with the choices and service. Nice old NYC-wooden atmosphere.

We were delighted to stumble upon Dutch Fred's on a chilly December afternoon. Great place all decked out for the holidays and a great big inviting bar where we were served delicious cocktails (creative menu, too) from an expert staff who were bright and welcoming. We will make Dutch Fred's our go-to spot for drinks and more in future!

Visited before a show at Winter Garden Theatre. Good atmosphere as it was busy but still able to have a nice conversation. Cocktails were varied, strong and tasty! We ordered from the light bites menu, everything tasted great and thr service was quicker than expected given how full it was.

Right down the block from Waitress it was the perfect spot for dinner after the play. Loved the atmosphere! Large drink menu! The Dutch Punch is served in a teacup super cute and great drink! Buffalo spring rolls, guacamole Mediterranean mezze, and everything pretzel all great starters! Burgers and fish tacos crowd pleasers! Our waitress was great! Friendly and attentive! Overall great experience!

They have a wonderful menu but all the food was served cold. Even when we sent the food back, it was heated up and overcooked and still came back cold. When they remade one meal (steak and eggs) it too was served cold. Not sure what they were doing that day but the chef was off and service was slow. Our waitress was missing during our meal and she said she took a break Really?? There are better places in NYC for brunch

Dutch Fred's is a cozy, stylish bar with a great atmosphere. The craft cocktails are fantastic, and the small plates, like truffle fries and sliders, are delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful, making sure you have a good time. It's a perfect place for drinks and snacks, whether you're a local or just visiting. Definitely worth checking out!

Brunch menu before the theater. No reservations but found a table. Enjoyed decent food and bottomless mimosas ($25).

I must say the food wasn't that great. The wings were fried a little too hard for me and the sliders were very basic. We did only order from the small plates, so maybe we should have stepped it up a bit. The venue was very nice and the vibe was very dope. I really enjoyed being there despite the guy who wanted to surprise his girlfriend by sneaking on her and slapping me in the head with his backpack in the process. The drinks looked really good and the energy was great. I'd most definitely recommend going here for a drink and conversation.

They pump electronic dance music at a volume so high you are unable to converse. So everyone around you is shouting to be heard over the music. The food was good. We stuck with small plates. The brisket croquettes were the best. The Waygu sliders unexciting. Buffalo chicken eggrolls good. Cocktails were fabulous and we did have friendly and attentive service.

We have just returned from a magical NYC trip!! We were recommended to try Dutchfreds!!! What a delight made even more special with the charming Bar tender Ryan from Co Down and his cocktails Devine !!!we Stayed longer than we should as the craic was great!!! Keep up the great work Ryan- merry Christmas and maybe see you in ireland in the future for a drink! Sláinte

Our friend gave us a recommendation to eat at Dutch Fred. Beautiful ambiance. We sat up front and the entire window was open for fresh air. It was perfect. We had the Kinky Boots and Apple Mule drinks - they were both quite tart and tasty. We both had salads are our entrees and both were quite good. The noise level was good and the fans provided a constant and enjoyable breeze. Great place and we will be back.

Up in the city for a quick weekend and my daughter found Dutch Fred's on the phone. Only a couple of blocks from our hotel, we walked over for later evening drinks and dinner and WOW! What a spot! Had a vibe that it had been there since the 40's or 50's which was awesome!! Great choice of craft cocktails and the selection of Bourbon would make anyone envious! The food was delicious from apps to main & always ask about Chef's specials. Highly recommend and will go back anytime we're in the city regardless of what part of town we're staying in! Cheers!

Needed somewhere local on a rainy first night in NY, wasn’t sure seeing the place from outside but took a chance, on entry walk up a slight ramp, but very busy and great atmosphere, seated immediately , please be sure to have a QR reader on your phone as no paper menu’s. Prompt friendly service by the waitress and decent food

Excellent restaurant for before the matinee - the Brunch menu had something for everyone. Steak and eggs was excellent, Dutch burger was awesome and my daughter said the chicken n waffles were to die for! The bottomless drink option is well worth it if you plan to have at least two cocktails …beware the Dutch Punch…it is delicious and goes down very easy in the cute tea cups it’s served in but it packs quite a “punch”. We will definitely go there again.

This is in the heart of the theatre district and an excellent alternative to the overbearing chain restaurants. We shared small plates and all were satisfying and delicious!

Brunch with friends at Dutch Freds, with out of town, staying in the theater district. Very nice place, good Feeling and atmosphere. Lovely live music. Good service, good food. Excellent Bloody Mary. Definitely a place to visit again.

We visited this past weekend to celebrate my Fiance's birthday. It was a great surprise to walk in a find live music, it made the atmosphere that much better than it already was. We had the Huevos and the Breakfast Flatbread with the bottomless Mimosa and Bloody Mary. It was a great was to start our Easter morning.

Nice lunch menu and terrific salads. A bit too noisy coming from the bar area. Convenient for theater goers!

We stopped after seeing a less than memorable broadway show. Our plan was to stop in for a quick cocktail, but the place was so nice, with a great selection of cocktails, so we stayed for a few cocktails and apps. The house smoked cocktail was very good, and the apps were also very good. Our original bartender was loud, annoying and crass, but after he left we enjoyed the replacement bartender and the show of him creating cocktails. Next time dinner.

I went into the city for a quick overnight to tend to a medical appointment. I wanted to meet up with some friends that I hadn't seen in a while at a place not too far from my hotel. My friends suggested Dutch Freds, so we made a plan to meet there. Oh my, what a super cool place. During our visit, NYC was restricting occupancy to 35%, and we still chose to sit inside near the back. The ownership does a great job of spacing out the tables, and they even built outdoor dining "pods" in front of the restaurant with individual seating areas and heat. Great idea. This place is known for it's mixed drinks, concoctions, whiskeys, and a great selection of beers. I started with a few different beers, then tried some whiskey after food. Speaking of the food, wow. So good! We ordered a bunch of appetizers, ranging from bang bang shrimp, pork belly, french fries, etc. Dinners consisted of lamb sliders, buffalo chicken flatbread pizza, and of course, the fantastic seared tuna. There was more, but those were the highlights and all shareable. Shane, the owner, was very pleasant and came over multiple times to check on us and even bought us a round. Can't wait to come back!!

We showed up here for an after show bite and were turned away at the door. Most Manhattan pub-type establishments that we've visited will seat you if have under-age customers in your party (the difference between a pub and a cocktail bar). Dutch Fred's did not. A shame since it looked nice.

We stopped in for a couple drinks (two each) and appetizers (sliders, Mediterranean mezze). The bartender was very attentive even with a full bar and adjusted drinks and recommendations to our tastes. The sliders are a poor value at just $1 less than the full burger without fries. The mezze plate was tasty although a little light on quantity other than the bread. Great spot worth checking out.

Was visiting NYC for work and found Dutch Fred's looking for somewhere for drinks and appitizers. The Steak and Toast was very tasty. For cocktails I had the "Red is the new Black" which was amazing! I also tried the "Panic at the Disco" cocktail which was also very good. Service was very good, music was a bit loud but we enjoyed it, may be too loud for others. Highly recommend this establishment!

Excellent drinks and great prices for New York Lunch specials...great bar...hummus salad delicious as was the lobster roll...convenient for theater

2stars only because service was very good. You look at the bar area think so cool drink menu looks awesome. To the other side looks like someones 70s paneled basement.. overpriced and drinks not great tasting didn’t even bother to eat 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Found this bar by chance.great location just by times square. Awesome bartender with good drinks.not too busy either

I have been home for 2 months now and I’m still craving fish tacos from Dutch Fred’s! Was introduced by my local friend at the start of my trip, and on my last day I had to go back for one last visit! Service was attentive but not overbearing, menu selection good, plenty of variety on drink menu and very reasonable priced. Will be my first stop next time I visit

We came here for drinks one night. It's quite a pricey spot in the neighborhood, and the drinks weren't particularly strong/big for the prices we paid. It definitely seemed like a more upscale, date spot (though it was a bit loud at times, so I don't know exactly what they are going for..), or a drink spot if you are into more sophisticated/fancy cocktails and can afford it. The service was nice but slow at times.

Sat at the bar for quick service. Ordered the flat bread breakfast pizza. It came with wto sunny side eggs on top. I did not care for the topping or the cheese - basically I din't like the food.

After a busy afternoon of walking Manhattan, my girlfriends and I went into Dutch Fred's for drinks and appetizers. The vibe was fun, the bartenders were great, and the food and drinks were outstanding. The buffalo chicken spring rolls and the pork belly tostadas were crazy good, and the Dutch's punch was delish! Dutch Fred's is definitely a hidden gem in the hustle and bustle, and we will definitely return! We loved it!

We had dinner here tonight with another couple and had a very nice, simple meal. My wife had the sesame tuna “small plate” which was, in fact, a nice sized portion. I had a turkey burger which was very nice and well prepared. My fitness had fish tacos which they enjoyed. The service was great despite the crowd. The only negative, it’s a very noisy place.

My friend and I stumbled over this bar when we were in New York and thought it was a great place to get some cocktails and I must say that it was a great choice to step into Dutch Fred`s. The interior design was lovely and well put together, and together with the music and the great tasting cocktails gave me a great time.

Stopped here a couple of times when visiting NYC. It's a classic NY bar, they've a friendly bar staff, a choice of beers and some off-centre cocktails (my partner had a smoked cocktail on one visit..).

Our first time at Dutch Fred’s for a pre theater meal. The service was excellent! Our server Caitlin was attentive and friendly offering suggestions on menu items and made us feel very welcome. Dutch Fred’s has a nice local feel and positive energy. The only downside was the lack of Dutch beers on the menu. (We thought there might be more due to the name). We don’t consider Heineken 0% an option.

Average cocktails for NYC, friendlier staff than some. Not one to rave about, and lacking in atmosphere but a comfortable spot for a few drinks.

The staff were super rude and it was very loud to have a conversation. The food was just okay. Drinks were creative and good.

Just amazing place, one you have to visit during a stay in NY. Food, drinks, vibe. Don't want to miss this one.

We ate here before a Broadway show. Great atmosphere and quick service. We were running a little late and the server got us in and out. The small plates were ideal. I had the brisket sliders and it was perfect before the show. A number of beers on tap. Good value for NY. Highly recommended.
Prepare to wait on Sunday Brunch
We loved the establishment but it was so busy and so loud. I think we waited about 30 -35 minutes for our meal. I felt bad because a table next to us arrived earlier and were still waiting. The food itself was wonderful. Staff very friendly. Just make sure you have plenty of time before your next event.
