Had a delicious lunch at EAK Ramen with my family and were blown away. The ramen was authentic and tasty. We also tried the garlic shrimp and fried rice. Those dishes were a little greasier than I would like but still delicious.

I suddenly craved for a ramen - at Penn station’s food court, there is a ramen shop at the very end of the hall. It’s pricey and small- I ordered a veggie ramen to catch up my veggie but that was a mistake. Soup was ok as well as ramen noodles - they were a bit on thick side but well made meaning enough body and hardness … however, veggie was completely out of tune. It’s almost leafy salad on ramen. It’s not typical veggie ramen that Japanese authentic ramen stores offer. I added an egg which was ok and 2$ extra. Aside from ramen, I also tempted to order a fried rice (and normally gyoza - but not this time as it’s already over 30$). The fried rice was not as bad as the veggie ramen. Nay, much much better. I should say 4.8 star- slightly too sticky rice but not so bad at all.

I went there first time during my stay in NYC. I enjoyed the Chicken noodle soup which were really tasty. My husband ordered the Pork noodle soup. The pork bun and the Ginger Gyoza are also yummy. The staff welcomes the guests like in Japan. I will go back there again when I stay in NYC. I want to try Vegi Ramen " Go Green!" next time. Highly recommended. 日本でもよく、家系ラーメンを食べるので、楽しみにしていました。店内はとても清潔でスタッフさんも親切でした。次回はビーガンラーメンを食べたいと思います。

Great, speedy service. The EAK ramen bowl is super tasty. The meat is perfectly cooked and the broth is perfectly smooth and not too salty. Noodles are also served at perfect temperature and consistency. This spot is a gem!

Had lunch at EAK Ramen. The ramen itself was great taste, portion not too big. Let's say Japanese size not American ;) so added garlic edamame as a perfect complement. Will go back

A cozy feel and good atmosphere restaurant. The waiters and waitresses were really friendly and provided fast service. The food was great and I would recommend trying this place out if you're in the area. Good selection of food and drinks.

Rich, pleasant, helpful, reasonable in terms of price, good food portions, fast in delivering the food and paying the bill

Visited while walking around Greenwich Village, She Who Must Be Obeyed being tired and thirsty after a busy morning buying nice smelly stuff for the bathroom, and getting her nails done in one of the myriad Nail Bars. The Thai food on offer looked amazing, and was drawing great comments from diners, particularly the broths. We were still full after lunch elsewhere!. Drinks during Happy Hour very good value, and the place has a very welcoming, buzzy atmosphere. Watch out for the vertiginous steps down to the restrooms (or maybe that's just me being an overcautious old codger from UK). Will visit again, and eat, next time in NYC.

We tucked in here to grab a quick dinner and avoid a rainy downpour. What luck! The ramen was delicious. I wouldn't have minded a bit more pork but it was still so filling and good. The takoyaki was a large serving and also yummy. We also enjoyed the sake serving "pitcher." Our servers were pleasant and helpful. We'll be back!

Small but very welcoming place with a beautiful bar counter. We had a ramen which was very good and at a scorching temperature and gyoza and an amazing pao bao. Average prices and fast service.

We came here after a show so we were happy they close late The service was very friendly The ramen was delicious and so were the buns.

If you fancy a ramen, some gyoza or poke bowl, EAK is your restaurant. Food is delicious and the staff are so friendly!! Next time i visit ny i'll visit them again

We were walking south and it was time for lunch. We walked in and ordered Spicy Fried Rice and Karaage Chicken, two dishes not much rice but as always we shared and enjoyed both dishes with water. There was Sapporo and my favorite beer Kirin available. Again the check was based on the price plus tax and then a suggestion for 18, 20 or 25 % tip. The base for the suggested tip was on the price plus tax. Again we do not pay tip on tax - that is principally ridiculous.

I have a buddy that tells me, I just had the best ramen in all of NYC. It's IEKEI! He explains IEKEI is blending of East & West, the western Tonkotsu style mixed with the Tokyo eastern Shoyu style. Don't mess with my noodles, I'm down to clown so lead me to the best ramen in all of New York City. Walking in before noon, we're told to leave. Not a biggie, I snap a few pictures of the interior, it's a nice looks space. At 12:00:00:001 we walk in and are properly seated. He had a homemade peach soda that he couldn't stop raving about, so two please. We started with a cool side, we ordered karaage. Do you like Korean Fried Chicken? This is Japan's version of fried chicken, very very tasty. I ordered the Zebra Shio, of course with the egg! Those noodles! This is a hearty bowl, the noodles aren't delicate. This is Bucatini style, thick noodle. And that broth? It was all put together to create harmony between east and west. E.A.K. RAMEN, you totally rocked it! I feel at peace.

Perfect for a quick bite or a meal with the kids. The menu is short but has a lot of finger food, interesting (okonomiyaki) and healthy items too. Reasonably priced. If you're going healthy I recommend sashimi bowl -white rice with salmon and avocado on top, all for under $10. There is beer on tap.

We were referred to this establishment for its tasty Ramen at reasonable prices. Our only criticism is that the Ramen is pork or chicken-based while my daughter is a big fan of beef. Because of that, we didn’t actually try the Ramen, the reason why we went how ever were extremely pleased with our choices. We started with the house made gyoza’s covered with a sheet or rice paper that was eaten right along with the dumpling. Absolutely outstanding! My daughter had the fried rice which was fried and prepared tableside on a hot skillet. Not an intricate dish but the flavors were unique and well enjoyed. My daughter declared it was simply the best fried rice she never had. I had the barbecue beef rice bowl which also was extremely satisfying with tender special-sauced barbecued beef over rice and veggies—delicious and plentiful. The bill was modest, the restaurant clean and tidy, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

Oh the broth is so good. I thought my dinner at EAK Ramen was very good. The broth is so flavorful and the soup is very hearty. There was a little spice but it was not overwhelming. There were large slices of pork with the noodles which added to the overall texture. EAK Ramen is a nicely designed restaurant with a large bar area and welcoming lighting. This is a great stop on a cold night.

Some of the best Ramen I’ve ever eaten. So full of flavors. The balance of noodles and soup are perfect. The goyza are big and fat full of goodness.

I ordered the pork ramen with extra egg, the broth is spectacular. The best ramen I have ever eaten. Excellent care. Warm environment

Worst. Food. Ever. Paid $12.00 for a bowl of rice with three shishito peppers, two cherry tomatoes and some indistinguishable brown glop. Awful.

Ramen in the NYC is such a scam ($10-$18 for a bowl of salty water? really?), yet I cannot stop eating! I've been to EAK several times and always get the EAK bowl. It's perfect savory and spiced. Service is amazing. Definitely the best ramen spot in the area.

EAK Ramen was exactly what we wanted at the end of a long, hot day in the city. The ramen was rich, flavorful, and filling, and it hit the spot when everyone needed something comforting and satisfying. The space is casual and energetic, and service was efficient without feeling rushed. It is a great option when you want a dependable meal that feels hearty but easy, especially later in the evening. A reliable choice that we would happily return to.

I got take out, but I'm still very impressed! It took about 20 minutes to make, but the service was odd.. No one really took care of me, instead I had to chase one of the girls to ask. It was kind of awkward. They give you separate containers for broth, noodle, and toppings, which was very convenient. Zebra- 4/5 This was a bit too salty, but the broth was still super tasty. Probably one of the best broth I've had. The noodles were delicious too although they are a bit thicker than your typical ramen noodles. The eggs are obviously a staple in noodles and they were not disappointing! Oh So Hot!- 4/5 They have 3 levels of spicy & I got the one with chili oil which wasn't really that spicy to me but still really great! And the ramen comes out super hot so be careful!

Ramen was good, though the Zebra was not as flavorful a broth as I expected. Had with extra pork as it only came with 2 slices. Nice and fatty the way I like it! Personal tastes. Did not have the sake I wanted and the sub was too sweet even though I said I didn't like sweet. Help is diffident. Portions are rather smaller than usual for ramen. Place is nice, music is a bit too loud for my tastes. Came with some spinach, egg, pork, piece of nori. Almost everything is an add-on with ramen.

Delicious ramen. Five basic ramens to which you add more contents. Their EAK basic ramen plus spicy leek, onions, garlic oil and their clever “spice bomb” (3 different serious chili’s/peppers created a wonderful dish. Noodles al dente. Other items on the menu but the ramen is the showpiece.

We oerdered the spicy Miso Ramen which were really tasty. The noodles are a bit thick for Ramen but super delicious. The staff welcomes the guests like in Japan. The atmosphere could be a bit more cozy.

Oooooh man, this place was delicious! Everyone in our group was so happy with our food and drink choices- from the lychee saketini to the EAK fried rice prepared table side - everything was tasty and satisfying!

I'm Japanese and love "Yokohama iekei (pronounce "E.A.K") Ramen. This is the first Yokohama iekei Ramen spot in NY and very authentic. Very rich broth and noodle texture is just perfect. Their side dishes are very good, my hubby loves their fried chicken.

You know when there’s lots of locals that you’re in the right place! Stopped in for lunch and ordered the gyoza (yum!), poke bowl (fresh & tasty), and ramen (hearty & delicious!). Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Japanese ramen.
Cant beat a decent Ramen
Pleasant little place, modern, clean and lovely friendly staff.. Went in here about 11pm one night after a long working day,,, and lovely cold Sapporo beer and a decent Ramen.. I had the EAK Shoyo and some takoyaki, all rather lovely... Raman is simple food, but its hard to do simple food well and this was done rather well... Its not a cosy, romantic place, its bordering on the look of a fast food place, but all round pretty good, as was the second Sapporo
