We visited the Effy's on Second Avenue between 72nd and 73rd. While there are standard eggs and omelets on the menu, there are also a number of middle eastern items. We had the Effy's breakfast which was delicious and different. In addition to your choice of eggs it comes with a tomato and cucumber salad, feta, whole wheat pita and an assortment of delicious spreads including spicy eggplant, hummus, middle eastern yogurt with dill and babaganoush. Service was good and it has a pleasant atmosphere.

We each had a different recipe of salmon, both delicious and perfectly cooked—unusually large pieces of fish. I had a large bowl of tasty lentil soup for $5.00! Entrees were surprisingly inexpensive. Pleasant service.

We were struggling to find a decent place for breakfast in this part of Upper East Side then found this little gem. Friendly staff and a wonderful menu available all day. And 10% off your check if you pay cash.

Food is really good and it’s a great non-diner place to go for weekday breakfast/brunch. My fav is the green Shakshouka. Coffee is usually fresh and very good as well. It is a small restaurant but they do not have enough staff. Everyone is really nice and no one rushes you. That said I’ve had to ask for things (more coffee, the bill, etc) several times before they happen. That said I’ve been several times and will go back.

I thought the food here was good. It’s a little unfair for me to rank our meal because I grew up eating this food homemade by my mother, and we all know that’s not a fiat comparison. At the end, they lose to my mother. But I would eat here again. Seemed pretty clean and healthy.

Ordered the goat cheese salad and it was huge, fresh and taste amazing. My partner ordered the chicken snitzel with sweet potato's and a side of turkey bacon all of which was perfectly cooked, delivered quickly and still hot. Even the delivery person arrived with a smile. Overall one of the best places we've ordered from on Delivery.com here in nyc. Looking forward checking this place out for eat-in.

Chicken Schnitzel and Waffles. With Spicy syrup. Excellent meal and coffee was good too. Seating is a little tight.

This place is wonderfull, I was visiting NYC for one week and I went back here THREE times for breakfast! Everything on the menu is delicious and the espresso is also very good. But above all, the two ladies who serve are SO nice and hospitable!! Even when it’s superbusy. I’m sad to be back at home and can’t have Effy’s breakfast anymore :(

I love this place came here everyday For two weeks since I stay in the area I must say fresh , tasty , reasonable price , friendly service Must try the ice latte And omelet are also good

They have a great brunch that includes any one of their platters, a mimosa and coffee for $18. Service was very attentive and the food was great in a nice section of Spanish Harlem on Lex.

In this restaurant poor area of South East Harlem, this was a solid place with a fair amount of sandwiches, freshly squeezed juices, craft beer and wine

A really charming little spot. We enjoyed sandwiches, wraps, salads and fries. Everything was delicious, prepared with fresh produce, a real treat...

Lexington between 100 and 101 If you are looking for a quick bite menu with salads wraps.. beer wine i had the falfael platter was Delicious”

We had been walking in Central Park and wanted some lunch so walked a few blocks West and came across Effy's Kitchen. It is a small cafe with a big selection for breakfast and lunch options, pretty healthy and lots of smoothies and milkshake and all reasonably priced. Our server was lovely and helpful, there was free Wi-Fi and the music and decor were appropriate giving a relaxed, comfortable feel. Between us we had a banana and peanut butter smoothie, an all green smoothie, smoked turkey sandwich and a falafal platter. All of it was excellent - homemade, tasty and fresh. I would highly recommend this cafe.

The food was so good we went twice on our visit. Excellent food and good service. Love the ice water served in jam jars that arrives as soon as you sit down.

Had a delicious brunch here. I had the berry pancakes and a smoothie which was delicious; they serve a variety of classic American breakfast dishes, wraps and salad plates along with homemade juices, smoothies and teas. Great service and loved the decor!

On Lexington between 100 and 101 there is a restaurant next to La Suk If you are looking for a quick bite extensive menu with salads wraps etc Fast service Included are pictures of the hummus platter and the Tel Aviv salad

I had the chicken schnitzel and waffle. It was extremely flavorful and delicious and not over- priced. The service here was also great. Even if you are not close by, consider taking the trip down just to check this place out. It will be worth it.

I happened to be in this area and looking for lunch. My iPhone directed me to Effy's because it had the best reviews. A small restaurant with open doors so has the quality of the outdoors. I had a delicious Feta Cheese Omelette with a side of very fresh and colorful cucumber and tomato salad. Service quick and pleasant. I will be back!

We had breakfast at Effy’s multiple times. The French toast is delicious, coffee is hot, service is fast. :)

Great spot for breakfast before heading over to Museum Mile. Small - cozy spot. Good food and great value. We had the Energy Wrap with home-fries for $15 and the Shakshuka for $14. Coffee - $3. Average service.

This is a wonderful place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The food was tasty and hot. My one major flaw was the TOAST- very BLAH and similar to Wonder Bread. I expected delicious bread from a local bakery, at the very least, a nice crust. I would definitely go back!
Superb Mediterranean choice
Excellent service by the wait staff, except the barista who kept being on her tablet who was not helpful when we asked for a spare utensil. The recommended dishes was so delicious, we wished we could’ve brought it home but we didn’t. Very fresh non greasy falafel and the side dishes such as the baba ghanoush was divine! I am a foodie who knows good food and this small hole in the wall is definitely one of them. Healthy and delicious. Simply divine. Will definitely return. There offered something for everyone! And everyone was happy with their dish. Sold.
