The Vietnamese chicken and beef noodles were terrific. I had my first taste of Em’s chicken noodle soup when my daughter had it delivered for our lunch. The bowl was almost filled with savory chicken and the soup was tops, not too spicy, almost on the side of perfect. Since I had become a fan of this restaurant, my wife and I ventured one day to look for the restaurant in Dumbo. Lucky for us it was a short walk from the apartment we were staying in. This was our second try to track down the restaurant, the first time we attempted we got lost due to the many construction going on in Dumbo. This time around I opted to try the beef noodle soup. It was as tasty as the chicken noodle soup I had delivered. By the way, the servings are rather large so my wife who had ordered something else shared some of my noodles (she loves the spring onions that come with the noodle soups). This restaurant is so good that it merits a third visit, which we did after a couple of days. I’d recommend this restaurant to the many tourists visiting Dumbo.

This is absolutely one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. I love every this year, but I came tonight for the butter clans. The sauce they come drenched in is the collectible, buttery, fish sauce, and sweetness ask for extra Vietnamese French bread to stop up the broth. The Vietnamese iced coffee is perfect. This is my neighborhood spot. I will be back I always come back. Thank you Jimmy for making it extra perfect

Wow! Delicious food each time. I’ve been here many many times. Solo and with friends. I keep coming back and keep trying new things and never disappoints . Highly recommend coming here. Everything on the menu is fantastic and the cocktails are so well balanced I heard is was curated by a special bartender. I’m Obsessed with their version of a espresso martini. You will always have a great meal coming here. I love how the chef also add new dishes to the menu I’m never bored here. I think it’s the best kept secret in Dumbo. Authentic delicious food without tourists. Must check out. You won’t be disappointed.

Not much to look at, but the food was quite good. We stopped in while wandering around Dumbo ansd were glad we did. A perfect lunch spot.

Good but not exceptional food, but the behavior of the staff was not acceptable, seeing that we were tourists they charged us 20% tip as if we were a big group

Weird vibe. We were asked if we had any questions before we looked at the menu, which was strange. 2 of the 3 waitstaff (a young woman and a bearded hipster) were delightful. The third (black tee, backwards baseball cap) was a total piece of… work. Arrogant, rude, talking over us, not listening, forgetting to give us wet wipes for our wings and literally throwing them onto the table as he walked away. Another server, noticing the glance my wife shared with me explained “they’re wet wipes to clean up after your wings” to which I replied “I know what they are, I just didn’t expect them to be thrown at me”. The food was good, the servings a little smaller than before. With tip, barely enough food for over $200 for three people (1 shared appetizer and 4 entrees, 1 beer, 1 soda). This used to be one of our favourite Dumbo lunch spots. After today, we probably won’t go back. Oh yeah. If you’re gonna have section asking what the occasion is (it was a birthday lunch), at least acknowledge it!

Stumbled upon this modern Vietnamese restaurant in Dumbo and was treated to a fantastic meal and great service by Cynthia! Ordered the wings, hot and perfectly portioned. Also ordered the pho which had a great broth, which was exactly what I needed this winter! Recommended!

The place is located in Dumbo but with no view on the skyline. The restaurant is quite poor and they close at 9pm (although we had a reservation confirmed for 8.45pm). The food is typical and authentic but the crab was TOO SPICY: we got disease for two days. The service was as flat the cocktails. Overall we think we speeded too much for this dinner.

Increadible surprise, the calamares and shrimp was Amazing and the service was very good. I recomend witth closed eyes.

This place was such a pleasant surprise. The food was amazing. We started off with the chicken wings (so good), then got the butter clams and the beef stew. Both were delicious. The service was also great. Kay was very nice and very helpful when asked for her recommendations of the menu.

Great place for kids. Plenty of space and High chairs. Also they provide plastic cups and silverware! My son loves the noodles

I absolutely loved the pho - it’s not just a simple beef broth, but elevated with hints of cinnamon. The servers are very friendly and the resultant has a nice warm ambiance.

Em Vietnamese Bistro offers an exquisite Vietnamese dining experience with impeccable service. Kenny was very attentive. He was so welcoming the moment we walked into the restaurant. Food was delicious. Em Vietnamese Bustro is a must-visit!

Been here a lot of times, best Asian restaurant in dumbo. Love the pho and dry style rice noodles. “The Castaway” smoothie is also good

The restaurant surprised me with its large portions, very friendly staff, and fast service. I definitely recommend going there—the Pho Bo broth was really great!

This restaurant has been the most cleanest , respectful and tastiest I’ve had in a while. Service was on point. Drinks are to die for ! Food will make you MELT. i recommend the pork chops. Will be returning.

Charming little place in this attractive and o so fashionable area. Lychee and watermelon martinis paved the way for crisp spring rolls, spicy soft shell crab, and deep and soothing Phos. Earnest and attentive service.

Came here on a double date and we ended up having a great time! The restaurant was also aesthetic inside too. Everything we ordered was delicious (spring rolls, wings, pork salad, beef pho, & coconut mussels). Our waitress Olivia was super nice, food came out quick, and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely come again!

Em never fails to amaze me with their delicious food and drinks!!! Food comes in a timely manner and the atmosphere is clean, cozy and comfortable. Staff is friendly and Kay provides impeccable service!!!! Definitely give this place a try.

I went for the lunch with my friend and had a great! I got nodules soup and my friend got braised pork belly for our mains. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Excellent go to spot for a bowl of authentic pho. Everything was delicious, seafood was fresh, and the drinks are amazing too!
