Our favorite place this weekend!

By John C |

First time to Dallas. Found Frankie's on first day and ate at least one meal here all 5 days in Dallas! The underground is the best - bar, tables, and couches with TVs all over the place. Watched the Sixers on Saturday night and all the early NFL games on Sunday! The food is great - it's normal bar good, but really well done. Shout out to Jason and both Anna's! We're missing Frankie's already!

Great place for a drink and good food.

By mdtar |

Excellent bar/restaurant. Has a great pub atmosphere with really good food. Bart tenders and staff are on top of things. If you want food and a drink and maybe watch a game this is the place. Lots of locals seem to go there.

Place for burgers

By Michael M |

All we had were the burgers. Good and would likely return. Alcohol is available if desired. If you like the small onion rings they are ok but would recommend the fries instead. They have a slight spice on the fries and they are darn good. Another person in the party had the vegetable wrap and said it was good also.

Great atmosphere, Friendly staff

By 7000TrishaB |

Nice upper scale sports bar great place to watch sports or just hang out with friends good food and drinks for a good price

Great game day venue

By THOMAS D |

Great game day location to have some food and beers. Plenty of TVs so you should be able to catch any of the games you want to watch. The cowboy club sandwich was particularly good.

Good time watching the games with friends

By ERL972 |

The basement atmosphere was fun and perfect for our group of 8 to enjoy the games. The server was excellent. They had good afternoon specials and the food was pretty good for a sports bar. The location is convenient to the dart rail line (Ackard station) which made getting into and out of downtown easy.

Average food and very average service

By desinerg |

This place is the pick of a bad bunch. Food is average and the service is terrible. Still don’t get the whole tipping thing in the US but still do it but the service here shouldn’t warrant a tip at all. Terrible.

Good place to watch a game

By hollyk790 |

Good place to get a drink and watch a game. I recommend the ribeye steak salad, it was excellent. Service was good.

Great Bar

By Dustin H |

Enjoyed my night here. Was referred here by the staff at the Crowne plaza. Enjoyed the happy hour, food and lively environment.

Great place!

By Rookie Wine Maker |

Great find while visiting Dallas. Traveled in for Cowboys and Vikings game. Food was good our service was very good. It does get very busy on the weekend during the football season. The wings were great. The atmosphere was great during the football games.

Good Bar

By mclement1984 |

Just another sports bar really. They had really good burgers and their beer selection was good. Friendly staff. Make sure you see the restroom signs...just sayin.

Great Bar with Good Vibe

By Taylor M |

Had a blast here. On a business trip and wanted to watch some baseball. Had a pizza and a local beer. Bartenders were great to interact with. Highly recommend. Will be back!

Nice Sports Bar

By Jess O |

This was an awesome little place, a sports style bar is downtown Dallas. We went to have a few drinks and grab something to eat. The drinks are great, cocktails great and food very nice … a lot but nice. As an Aussie I’m not sure they are used to people just wanting to sit and drink for a bit as the staff kept asking if we wanted to check … but all good, after a while staff chilled a bit and we had a good night. Would definitely go again

Delicious Pizza, Surprisingly!

By danheagney |

First, the service was fine. Nothing amazing, nothing special, just fine. What I'd expect from an establishment like this though. I was nicer than they were, which I'm never a fan of. However, good beer and drink selection, so I had plenty to choose from. The Mosaic IPA always does the trick. Normally I wouldn't get a pizza from somewhere like this and would instead go with the wings or burger. BUT. The carnivore pizza was particularly good! And, value wise, I can easily make it into three meals in total, making it far more affordable. It was cheesy, meaty, and overall delicious. Worth the visit for the food, for sure!

Good Sports Bar

By Bobby B |

The wife and I stopped in here for drinks with friends during a night out in downtown. Definitely a sports bar atmosphere. Tons of TVs. Long bar area and a small seating area outside for some great people watching downtown. They have a decent craft beer selection with some locals. Cocktail menu is just so-so. Service was ok and was very busy when we were in about 11PM so expect it to be pretty loud. Definitely a great place to catch a game if you are visiting town for business. Insider tip... they put what games will be on each time for the whole day so you know where to get a seat.

Great food, Great Drinks and Great Hospitality!

By 34fordgal |

My friend and I wandered around downtown looking for a place to dine in (During COVID). We found Frankie’s and were treated warmly at the door! We got a table and I saw their Hail Mary Bloody Mary With the Kitchen Sink garnish which included Peppers, Shrimp, Caramelized Pepper Bacon, olives, okra, And whatever else they could find! I got mine slightly spicy and it was fabulous!

Fun lunch with the family!

By Dave H |

very comfortable and cool bar located on main street in downtown Dallas. I ate the very tasty fish and chips and the girls split a pizza while my wife had the club sandwich. everybody loved their food. While ding the director of marketing approached us and gave us some "Frankie Bucks" which we used to buy the mother of all Sundaes! Wow!! So tasty. Service was excellent and we felt very welcome. We will definitely be back!!

Great Sunday Brunch & Bloody Mary Bar!

By lnoorlag |

We enjoyed our Sunday at Frankie's in Downtown Dallas, The people were southern friendly and the Bloody Mary "build-your-own" bar was stellar. I had the Hangover Burger with fries and it cured my weekend indulgence. We will be back!

Run Away

By Dsdocu1 |

Ate here with a group of five on a Sunday around 1:30. It was pretty busy and they had all they could handle. Took over 1.5 hours to get 2 cheeseburgers,a flatbread, a buffalo chicken wrap and pork sliders. The burgers were cold and burnt to a charcoal hockey puck and the wrap was totally wrong. Horrible experience! Kids also ordered a fried Snickers that took another 45 minutes and arrived cold

Fun place

By OKCdatenights |

Came here during a conference, and absolutely loved it! The fried bacon is amazing. I ordered the pulled pork nachos which were enough to feed four people, and very tasty. Everyone that ordered burgers said they were great.

Frankies is Fabulous!

By HarleyCowboy-Dallas, Texas USA |

Head downtown, and when you get to Frankies, head underground! Yes, many don't know there is a terrific bar and tables (full meals served) UNDERGROUND!!! So cool! Great food, super service, excellent drink specials, and fabulous atmosphere to wind down UNDERGROUND!!! Enjoy!

Welcoming and fun

By mtzstang |

My family met at Frankie's for apps and happy hour. The service was fabulous. The wings were awesome. Of course the beer and wine was excellent too!

Early dinner

By WolfeFamilyof5 |

The spinach and artichoke dip with pita bread was delicious! I also had the Caprese sandwich and it had wonderful flavor. Service was on point. We went around 4 o’clock and loved the atmosphere. The music was nice to listen to but not so loud that you couldn’t hold a conversation at the table.

good service, great burgers

By Baylee K |

good service. super nice, more upscale than i was expecting. there’s tvs on every wall so good for games. burger was delicious

Breakfast on a weekend

By Nat B |

Went here for breakfast on a weekend, not much else in down town dallas is open. Staff were friendly. I ordered French toast and a coffee. Good combination on a cold day. Menu looks good for lunch dinner options too, lots of beers also on tap.

Cool sport bar downtown Dallas! Thank you Jim Banuelos!

By Gianluca Bazzica |

Great company, good food and nice atmosphere! I was there for lunch on March 16th together with my friends from Aptco (Jim Banuelos, Scott Hakl and Eduardo Garcia). We really enjoyed the food, I had a nice Ahi Tuna plate and delicious fries. Thank you Jim for inviting me!

Late lunch / early dinner.

By Robert B |

Clearly a popular place with local office crowd the staff were quick to wear is. The menu and the standard of the food was very good and again the service matched this. Great selection of American whiskey and a wide range of local draught beers to chose from.

Good food, but busy!

By carrbtraveler |

We went for dinner before the ghost tour. Food was good and service was fantastic. Will be back again. Parking was a little bit difficult, but we figured it out..

Great bartender and excellent vibe!

By Dan T |

Was looking for a spot to watch some college basketball, so glad we chose this spot. Casey was tending the downstairs bar had just absolutely made the night. Used smoke to make a great old fashion, but even better was his bloody mary. Now I know no reasonable adult should be drinking a bloody mary at 7 pm, but with Casey at the bar you just follow his lead. Smoked up some jalapenos, then muddled them into the drink.....the drink was in fire. Excellent job!

Good Food, Slow Service, Not kid friendly

By Holly G |

The food was good, but it took too long to get our dinner. We stopped here as it was close to our hotel. We did have our kids with us and they sat us downstairs, no kids menu and very adult atmosphere. I would go back and give it another try with just adults.

Great Service, excellent Wings

By Scott P |

I visited two times in my first 4 days in Dallas. I love good wings and generally go with Buffalo. I got cajun jerk, one word Excellent! Got them both visits. Great beer selection. My only criticism, too much " computer music".

Good bar food

By Don D |

We were in Dallas for a concert and popped in to Frankie's for a couple of beers and a late afternoon bite. The service was quick and responsive. The food was excellent and the beer was ice cold. The decor includes several signs that very amusing. If I find myself back in the area I will go back.

Good lunch options & great place to catch a game @ night

By irishWnk |

Burgers and pizza are great choices for lunch : you can't go wrong. At night the atmosphere switches to a great sports bar with many TV's to choose among.

Really good pizza

By Gary T |

Frankie's is a sports bar kind of place rather close to the convention center and is walk-able from there. We tried the Carnivore Pizza, a Gyro with Sweet Potato Fries and two small side salads. The Pizza was thin crust and surprisingly good. It had sausage, pepperoni, and ham for the carnivore in you. The salads were just right and had plenty of fresh vegetables. The place was quite loud, so I wouldn't go there for a business meeting.

Good Food, Not Great Service

By Fringe101 |

On my first night in Dallas this restaurant was recommended to my husband and I by the bartender at our hotel. It had lots of tv's and was basically a sports bar. I was really impressed with their gluten free selection as you could get pizza or burgers! The beer selection was also good. We were starving as we hadn't eaten all day and started with the loaded fries. I had the steak salad with blue cheese and he had a burger. The food was very good and good size, however my complaints are with the service. The waitress wasn't friendly and didn't seem to want to be there. We got our food and what we ordered but not much else leaving me with an underwhelming feeling for this place.

Yeah

By sofiene K |

Good evening the typical American bar in all its splendor..the old wood the bar liquor wine cocktails very very good music a crazy atmosphere

Caught it on the wrong night???

By MaDonna S |

Our hotel suggested this sports bar. Unfortunately they must not have planned on anyone coming as there were two servers in the place. The food was marginally good, the service was terrible and the bill was incorrect. I would never go there, and I would tell my friends to find another place.

Nice for a quick bite to eat and a beer a little light on atmosphere

By Paul C |

Nice spot for a quick bite to eat and a beer, had the wings and fries along with the cookie and ice cream dessert. (also had 2 bottles of beer) it was a little expensive but for city food the price about average. Food was fine service was grand bar probably has better character later in the evening so may have been our timing but it just felt a little cold (atmospericilly speaking)

South fork burger, bourbon wings, and hoodoo fries

By CYNTHIA O |

We had the south fork burger with sweet potato waffle fries. It was very filling but I didn’t think it was too special. The bun though was reminds me of an Asiago jalapeño bagel but which is amazing. We also had the hoodoo fries and jumbo bourbon bbq wings. So worth it! Two people or more can eat these large appetizers by the way. The service was somewhat of a wait but nice, chill atmosphere- bar style. Lot of people in groups came. They have music going on the screens and the NBA game. Parking is in the back of the building but you have to walk outside to eat into the restaurant.

Great place for drinks & eats in downtown Dallas!

By Steven L |

Great, high quality and creative fare. Not a huge menu but really good food. The White Sangria is full of fresh berries and very tasty! The Wings are spectacular! Service was great at the bar!

Poor all the way around

By daveHou |

There's a reason happy hour pricing last all day. I'm guessing it's because everything else about this establishment under performs. Came here for a real casual dinner on a recommendation from the hotel front desk. Honestly nothing redeeming sad to say. Took 15 minutes for a menu. First House wine was sour, obviously a lot over from several days ago. Greek flatbread was cold and the most uninspiring and poorly crafted appetizer I've ever tasted. Philly steak sandwich was okay, the au jus was like warm and pretty tasteless. Topping it off, the bill had to items we didn't order. With all the restaurants in this area, we certainly picked a dud!

Cool Place

By Andre L |

While the downtown area still has a bit more to desire due in part by the constant harassment of the homeless, once inside you tend to forget. It offers great atmosphere, really good food and lots of TV's. If you need a place to hang out with your friends, watch the big screens, enjoy a few beers and have good food, Frankie's is the place. Super service and welcoming staff.

Good time

By Christy D |

We stopped in after the good reviews and were not disappointed. Kat was our server and took good care of us even though she was very busy. The wings were delicious and the pizza was very good. Great drinks as well. Friendly staff and good prices.

Mule Heaven

By Erika Guam Saipan |

They numerous varities of the Moscow Mule dink-I had 2 this evening. Apps and main course were yummy

First meal in Dallas, Texas

By Elizabeth P |

This burger did not disappoint- coating on the onion rings tasted like fried chicken batter-( I prefer beer). My son thought his hot wings were fantastic. Fun bar atmosphere- decorated with Christmas lights.

Superb burger

By zdaati |

Nice place with great choice of beers and really good burger. We had the southern one which great, just enough spicy to give the great taste, with great bun and fit in hand. Nice piece of meat and just enough of everything, along sweet fries and tasty IPA local beer. Fast and easy service.

Depends what you're looking for

By Birchpl |

Pub menu, food was fine, drinks were good, and our server was very attentive. Some things were better than others, but overall everyithing was good - highlights were the BBQ brisket, the wings, and the pizza.

Great food good price.

By Shane A |

Atmosphere is fun too. Had the ahi tuna nachos. Ahi tuna salad was fantastic. Came back for it a second night. Splurged and had a fried snickers with ice cream.

Nice location in the heart of Downtown Dallas

By BigGuyfromDallas |

Lunch crowd starts to wait starting about noon. We got here at 11:30 and were waited on quickly. I had the Supreme Pizza. It was very good with a thin crust. One of the party had a hamburger/fries. He asked twice for a condiment which never came, but said it was a good cheeseburger anyway. The third party had Cheese Soup, which she said was not very good.

Great Sports Bar in downtown Dallas

By Ralph S |

Watched the Patriots defeat Arizona in this fun and upbeat bar. Good food and good drinks, tons of TVs and friendly staff and patrons made this a great experience. I was wearing a Brady jersey and Pats hat and no one gave me any grief. I will go back when visiting the Big D!!!

Good Choice and Location

By dms_563 |

Great atmosphere in Downtown Dallas. Prices were really reasonable. Service was fantastic. Daily specials. I had a Mediterranean Wrap that was very good and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Frankie's to everyone.

Tiger fan in town for Cotton Bowl

By Ronnie Mackin |

We went to Frankie’s to watch some football after our football game was over. The service was excellent and the environment is great. Huge crowd and the downstairs section is a nice little gem! The pizza was great and so are the hoo doo fries! I will definitely be back!

BANANA PUDDING!!!

By kel-sa-fof3 |

In town for a conference & wanted to escape the hotel. This place was a typical sports bar, wasn't the cleanest, service wasn't the best, food was ok; bonless wings (chicken strips) over seasoned in Ranch flavor (salty but eatable); hamburger basic but the bun was good. Happened to notice the desserts on the menu.. BANANA PUDDING with NILLA WAFERS Banana Pudding Fluff, Caramelized Bananas, Fresh Banana, Nilla Wafers, Whipped Cream, Caramel Drizzle and a Cherry on Top!  Heaven! Pure heaven! Don't tell but it was better than my daddy's & his is the gold standard!

Love the burgers

By Kei A |

They have sa many choices of burger. Since I love bacon..I ordered the one with bacon. I also love the place...where you could watch sports and MTV's..drink alcohol and hang out with friends

Great place to eat and drink

By Carrie B |

My husband and I were staying at the Adolphus and we were looking for a late night pizza. Found Frankie's around the corner and stopped on to order a pizza to go and had two drink while we waited. Great atmosphere and great service. It was so good we went back the next afternoon for lunch. We followed the bartenders recommendation for burgers, and we were not disappointed. Had a beer, burger and watched some football on the many, many screens.

Business Outing

By John W |

Went here with about 20 colleagues while visiting Dallas. Hung out in the basement next to a game room that was a little run down. Food was good.. not amazing but good. Plenty of access to sports TV’s. Server was friendly and efficient. Would return.

Good Sports Bar

By hruter |

A great place to watch sports. TV's everywhere! Service was great, food was pretty good, especially for bar food.

All that and more.

By James D |

This place is amazing and I have been coming since they opened. Today I had the Chicken as Waffel and Chef Alex did not disappoint. It was all that and more. Thanks Brittany for making it happen. If you are ever downtown do yourself a favor and stop by for an outstanding experience.

Good atmosphere

By 0sarahelizabeth0 |

Food was overpriced for what it was.. The server mistaken my order on my pizza.. So if anyone knows the difference I had a tomato, fresh mozzarella and Basil pizza that came out with no mozzarella and with Canadian bacon. Also our beers were $6-8. Not worth the stop.

Saturday afternoon

By Sherri B |

Scouting out this place in preparation for upcoming bowls. For whatever reason, they were serving a limited menu. I was glad to see that the brisket was included on this limited menu as that is what I was craving as I am not from Texas. They were average at best. Not at all what I had in mind and heavily covered with barbecue sauce. May need to explore other options for our bowl viewing.

Frankie's Review

By aghyba |

After a long day I needed a beer to relax, so I went here for a beer and a flatbread. It is a happening place, recommended it. Ordered the Mosaic IPA from Community 7.5% ABV, nice. Made it to happy hour, $5 flat breads on Fridays before 7:00 pm.

Great place for a drink!

By Kevin K |

Great bar, friendly staff, excellent service, friendly atmosphere. There are about 20 local beers on tap, plus a full bar. Food is great. If you like calamari, you must try their calamari fingers. I have never seen calamari this large before, but it is outstanding!

Open until the early hours

By Carrie F |

We went for drinks one evening in Dallas, and this bar is great and open until 2am. It has a pool table and other sports games to play.

Lucky visit!

By iVolley |

As my friends and I entered the bar we were greeted by a friendly bouncer. Upon entering, we were able to sit in the so called "VIP area" of the bar. My friends and I enjoyed the couches and comfy chairs in the back area. We rung up a tab of $200+ and kept drinking/eating due to the lively atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonably priced menu. Would definitely visit again if returning to Dallas!

Awesome food, beer & service

By OChalofan |

Wanted to watch some of the NCAA tournament and found this place not to far from my hotel. Upon sitting was immediately greeted by my waitress with water and she took my drink order, opted for the "Golden Opportunity" beer...excellent! Placed an order for the chips and salsa and pulled pork sand which. Chips took some time coming out (pretty sure it's because I came in during he brunch to lunch transition) no complaints though as the chips were fresh & warm and the salsa was spot on. Pulled pork sandwich...let's just say I wasn't expecting much for a bar sandwich. WOW! This blew doors off any other food I've eaten in the city thus far and one of, if not the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever eaten. Meet was tender with just the right amount of crispiness and BBQ sauce. The fries that came with it we're steaming out, clearly made about 10 seconds before they were at my table. The waitress and manager must have checked on me and the other tables a dozen times while I was there and they had no problem with me just hanging out for a few extra minutes to watch the end of the game. This is on my must return to list whenever I visit Dallas again on the future.

Yummy TX style bar food

By Susan B |

Frankie's downtown served the usual pub fare with a TX twist- a little bit of zing. My kids weren't really up for it, but my husband and I thought it was really good.

Frankly Frankie's is Fun

By Mangakura |

Sought shelter here from a downpour. Ended up having a couple of glasses of red and an American burger. The burger was awesome the red okay the chips mediocre - the waitress was helpful, engaging and genuine. The bar is spacious, animated and with TV's everywhere. Well worth a visit.

Amazing Food and Atmosphere

By lnorwood2016 |

We were in town for the weekend and loved the food and service we received at this restaurant. Great helpings of food and loved the spicy tingle of the fries. We will definitely return.

The best

By Ivan R |

Some of the best wings in downtown definitely beats Wingstop, SO TASTY and so WORTH IT if you are ever in the area or even out

Beer crawl/ Ghost tour

By Teresa O |

Frankie's is the meeting place for our tour. First up the temptress ale, nice smooth beer with chocolate undertones. The pub is nice cozy with a full menu, maybe we will try next time.

So Fun....know the secret!

By LeighB |

For live music....go downstairs! They have a great underground bar area with live music most of the time. You wont be disappointed in the food and the bar tenders know drinks!

Nice spot

By Greg B |

Stopped by just after arriving in Dallas to look at their beer list for later. Felicia was so nice that we went ahead and sat down for a quick drink. Loved the atmosphere and menu looked good enough to bring us back later this trip.

Great place for a burger

By Irwin G |

If you love burgers, this is the place in Downtown Dallas. Huge! Well made. Great service by fun and friendly servers.

Cheap eats!

By CucaSean |

Looks like a neighborhood watering hole so we were lucky to get a seat. Lots of sports on TVs, Daisy Duke length shorts on the servers, you get the idea. My wife and I ordered a Margherita Pizza and 2 waters, (yep, we're a server's dream). The pizza was classic, tasted great, arrived promptly, was hot and was only about $10. My wife says I can go back if I only look at the servers with my bad eye.

Local Bar

By N S |

I stopped by this bar because it was close to the hotel I was staying at and referred by the guys at the front desk. The food was good, happy hour was great and the ambiance was fun. I'd stop by here again if I ever visit downtown dallas again.

A downtown bar

By Armando R |

This bar was okay. They played classic rock. We ordered the loaded fries and wings. Service was good, nothing special, and also no complaints.

If you need a staple in a pinch...

By F7J9M |

Nothing bad about this place at all, but no WOW factor either. The beer prices weren't bad as the bucket specials seemed to do the trick for me and my group. As for food we all seemed to order a bunch of things to pick on together. The flat-breads were very flavorful and well made for a sports bar, kudos there. The wings as well, although traditional bar food, were above average. The two biggest take--ways for this place on a College Football Saturday... Plenty of TVs & Golden Tee Golf!!!

Average. Not bad, not great.

By carrmanor100 |

Service was good but the wait for food was long. Took 45mins to bring just 1 dish (midweek with lots of tables free). When it arrived (ribs) they were overdone and burnt but still tasted ok. The accompanying Mac n cheese was delicious though. Overall, disappointing and wouldn’t go back but I’ve been to far worse.

Good food.

By dpina88 |

Food was great! We got the stuffed jalapeños and they were amazing. Along with the pineapple wings. Delicious! Staff was rude. Was interrupted when we tried to order our drinks and told to hold on while the waitress ran off. I would try it again in hopes that maybe that was just a busy night.

Good Food, Good Drinks, Good Atmosphere

By DianneK |

I have already recommended this place to several of my co-workers. It was so good! We enjoyed different kinds of beer while we were there. They have an extensive selection of choices. They were out of the truffle mashed potatoes which was disappointing since the meal my husband wanted had that as its base. He settled for the Larry Bird which he thoroughly enjoyed. I got the Classic Margherita pizza. It was excellent. We also enjoyed their classy take on banana pudding. We stuck around for a good portion of the evening. The lounge chairs were super comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxing, the food was excellent, and the drinks were both good and affordable. Plus the staff was great. Holli waited on us and she was outstanding. I will visit Frankie's again.

In town (Dallas) for the Cotton Bowl

By BuckeyeBTM |

We ate and drank twice at Frankie’s. Good food good service both times. Plus, Felicia (the hostess) was a lot of fun. We highly recommend Frankie’s if you are in Dallas. Go Bucks!!! O H — I O

Great Food. Great Location.

By Carla A |

This restaurant was walking distance from the Crowne Plaza hotel and right across the street from a beautiful park. Upon entrance, my husband and I were greeted by two young ladies. Since they were standing there to greet, I didn't pay the "Please Be Seated" sign any attention and asked to be seated for 2. One, acted like she didn't really want to be bothered and the other didn't say a word. My husband then pointed and said "Oh, we can seat ourselves!" The ladies then smiled and said, "Oh, yes." Awkward. Once we were seated the waitress came over quickly and took our order. I must say she wasn't very friendly but I ignored it and took my time ordering my food. It was very good. I had the burger and my husband loved their fries and flatbread entree. The establishment was clean and they have lots of tvs. They even have a section where a group of people can sit and enjoy themselves. I'd definitely visit this place again.

Great food, TERRIBLE customer service

By MomofTwo925 |

Let me start this review by saying this restaurant had great food and drinks and great prices. We stopped here to watch a MMA fight while visiting Texas for a wedding. We had a wonderful time with friends and everything was great until the end of the night. My husband and his friend has been in a back room playing pool and left after their game to go to the restroom. When they returned they were confronted by a drunk gentleman that claimed they had stolen his money off the bar (separate room). He exchanged words with my husbands friend about the money and they returned to the table both saying obviously he's drunk and not working the fight. Our waitress came over to bring our tickets and made the comment to my husband that she couldn't believe they would steal someone's money. My husband told her that we didn't even bring cash in and we only use plastic and she continued making little comments about them stealing money. So they paid (with their cards) and we got up to leave. The waitress then returned and apologized to my husband and his friend but at that point we were not in the mood to hear it. Terrible, Terrible customer service. After posting on their Facebook page, the manager assured me he was going to look into it but I've yet to hear anything else about it, even after requesting an update. My guess is he's confirmed what happened that night and doesn't want to publicly admit it.

Dinner snack

By Tamika C |

First evening in Dallas, needed something light on the stomach before bed. Tried this place because it looked hip. It is a sports bar atmosphere and a great place to come and unwind with friends. Ordered food to go and I had the jerk chicken wings on the bone. It was not carribbean spicy at all. It was still tender and juicy and the fries were good. The bartender who took our order has a look of not being friendly, but underneath he was kind. I would come back but will try something else on the menu.

Good late night eats and drinks

By Traveling Mom |

Had a blast at Frankie's. Loved the late night happy hour menu. Good drinks all around. Happy they serve Oak Highland Brewing but also had some decent mixed drinks. Went one night and had the Margarita pizza, good size, plenty to share. Next night tried the buffalo chicken pizza and it was amazing. A little spicy and different with the mushrooms but I'll always want mushrooms on my buffalo chicken pizza if they are that good.

Happy Hour

By Ramonica C |

In town for a conference had dinner/happy hour here because it was close to my hotel. I had "The Bird" it was pretty good for bar food. I also had the Ahi Tuna Nachos - I didn't care for them the fish tasted raw considering it's 'tuna' I guess I can't complain should've paid more attention to the menu. I had a Peach drink from the happy hour me it was very strong and flavorful. My waitress was okay but the door staff seemed a little stand offish and irritated to be at work. I see why some ppl complained about it. Overall fair experience, I'd go back if I'm in the area. I think everything was about $20.

Great food

By Melissa B |

This place was pretty cool. The food was good. The service was ok. The outside area where we were seated was dirty. The furnish was stained. Ash trays blowing ashes and butts all over the place. Employees and customers smoking in the small area they have. Am employee decided he was going to water the plants and the water dripped all over the back of the seats where we were sitting.

Great atmosphere, great bar food!

By RANDETEXAS |

We enjoyed the downstairs area. The food was great and the service was quick and friendly. We didn't expect top-notch food, being mostly a bar type environment, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had 9 people in our group and ordered probably everything on the menu...everyone at our table loved the food and one even said it was the best burger they'd had in a long LONG time. This is a great place!

Excellent Bartender, good food and drinks

By Lazza66 |

It is not often that we experience this high level of customer engagement and service. Kaitlyn is the perfect bartender - she was funny, knowledgeable and up to challenge of mixing a new drink. BTW - the Ahi Tuna Nachos and Jalapeno Poppers were very tasty. Thanks for a great evening, we'll be back.

Nasty

By ShannonH298 |

The food nasty, ordered 2 appetizers garlic chicken wings and jalapeño poppers. The wings weren’t cooked and the jalapeños were hard not cooked with a nasty batter. I had a Long Island ice tea that tasted like sea salt water, awful! Our server was ok, but never offered other options or any kind of a discount. Wouldn’t go back or recommend.

Nice Bar Atmosphere

By mbvwf1984 |

I was at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn for a conference. Stopped in once then stopped a couple of more times. Very nice atmosphere. HH specials 11:00 am till 7:pm. It is a really nice downtown spot. Would return.

Fun Local Sports Bar

By Angus Ogg |

They have a great draft selection containing many local brews. The menu covers pizza, sandwiches, burgers and an extensive appetizer selection. The music is a bit too loud

Good food. Good service.

By Airvicemarshal |

Really friendly staff in a busy sports bar. Good range of food to chose from. Something for me, wife and kids. Relaxed and not rushed. Would definitely go back here.

Perfect place to watch the game

By crisorear |

Great brunch with Bloody Mary bar and plenty of TV's playing every game you want to see. Attentive service and good food, alfredo pizza with chicken and mushrooms was awesome.

Incredible burger

By Norman S |

Great burgers and prices. Great vibe to this place. Service is outstanding and friendly. Great choice of burgers that are cooked to perfection. I would diffidently go back if I was in Dallas.

Lunch and happy hour

By Lynn B |

Great place to have lunch, the best California Club sandwich in town which was part of the happy hour menu (11-3) $8.99. Happy hour drink (11-7) $4. Margaritas. Good atmosphere and great service along with excellent value for money make this a great place to eat, drink or both!

Great beer and food

By CoachSC |

Stopped in to watch a game and eat on a family trip. Beer is cold and food is really good. I ordered a flight of local craft beers and the club sandwich. Highly recommend.

BEST BACON EVER!!!

By Jayme B |

I had Sunday brunch there. I had the Breakfast BLT and the Hail Mary Bloody Mary. Both were top notch. The bacon was the best bacon I've ever had. it was both sugar glazed and peppery. It was included in the bloody mary and of course, on the BLT.

The pizza is amazing

By John B |

The pizza here is absolutely amazing and highly recommended. I come here often for business and it's so delicious, I would much rather come to Frankie's for some pizza than go elsewhere. The ambiance is also amazing

Great place to watch football!

By Christine S |

They have so many TVs and so many different seating areas, you can watch all the games at once. Ice cold beer and a mean cheeseburger Flatbread made it a great place to watch the Cowboys win!

Very happy with the service

By Eugenia |

Will totally come again! Good prices for the quality of the food and drinks. Very nice place! The waitress was also very polite and she was always paying attention to our needs.

So happy this place opened downtown!!

By Shawn M |

This locale is a great place for lunch while working in the downtown area. The atmosphere is welcoming with heavy wood, but also a sports bar feel with multiple screens to view. We had loaded cheese fries as an appetizer, and then my friend had he Larry Bird burger and I had the white pizza with grilled chicken, artichoke hearts, and mushroom. It was wonderful. Will definitely go back.

Awesome location for great food and drinks. Don't pass this place up while in down town Dallas. Prices are within range.

Great late night menu

By muffincakes |

We stumbled across Frankie's the other night after getting caught walking in a terrible thunderstorm. We were starving and most food places were shut down, but not Frankies! We sat at the bar and the bartender (sorry, forget his name but he was working on the evening of Sunday night) was great! Super friendly, great beer suggestions and food recommendations.

Great Music & Food!

By jangelore |

Grabbed lunch at Frankie's, and I stopped to look at the menu because of the music that was playing - it was a fairly deep cut from Soundgarden Badmotorfinger record - and I was immediately hooked! I had a buffalo bacon chicken sandwich (or some such combo), sat outside, and even during the lunch rush, service was exceptional! Highly recommended!

Typical bar food

By Christine C |

I guess don't get the Cesar salad or chicken tortilla soup at a sports bar :( I'd try it again though for a burger or pizza because that did look good. Good atmosphere for sports and hanging out though. Wide selection of beer and the waitstaff is friendly.

Impressive

By Stephen B |

Other reviews are spot on. They serve a great burger, decent beer (plenty to choose from) and even better service.

Buzzing

By Daveshent |

Place was absolutely full at 3om on a Sunday, two games on and the downstairs bar was rocking with fans cheering on their teams, really good vibe if you are looking for a sports bar to chill for a while,

Great pub/sports bar!

By JBunch3 |

Great service and great food. Larry Bird and the double pepperoni pizza hit the spot! If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends and watch the games...goto Frankie's!

Great Food!

By Kat R |

Hard to find a good place to grab a bite to eat. So happy we found Frankie's Downtown. The food .. owner and service are the best.

Great food and atmosphere. BAD service

By Brian E |

I visited this bar recently and found the food and interior very impressive. I had the hot wings and fries which were amazing but whenever I wanted a beer the bartender was either missing or chatting endlessly to his buddy at the end of the bar. Otherwise it’s a great sports bar well worth a visit.

Slow Service. Cold Food.

By Berrekerre |

Everyone's food came at a different time. The first plate that came out was cold. When we asked for another serving of fries bc the ones that just came out were cold, the new fries that came out were also cold. The second plate that came out wasn't cold but didn't come with what it was suppose to. Had to ask for the sauce that was suppose to be on the burger already. If you have time on your hands, and don't want to have your meal the same time as everyone at the table, this place is for you!

Great Service and Food

By Jason C |

Great service and food. If you’re passing through it’s a must stop. Felecia is the host with the most.

Great Bar

By Richard |

Was is in Dallas for 5 days on holiday and this was the first bar we went to and always ended up here for a beer; always ending up having more than planned. As with most bars in Dallas they have excellent choice of craft beers to choose from, we sampled quite a few. There were enough TVs for us to watch March Madness from anywhere in the bar. We only ate once, but the food was excellent and the bar staff were very good and friendly. If I'm back in Downtown Dallas I'm sure I'll pop in for a few beers.

Perfect evening out!

By AmandaKJ15 |

The valet from our hotel suggested (and even walked us to) Frankie’s - and it did not disappoint! Our drinks were delicious, server was fantastic and THAT PIZZA 🤤🤌🏼 We had the Buffalo chicken, and have no regrets! Only wish we would have tried wings too, but after the loaded queso we didn’t have room.

Yum!

By Nathan L |

We ended up at Frankie's twice during our 6 day trip. Food was very good! Service was very quick. Will definitely be back when I am back in Dallas!

The best burgers in town!

By Richard B |

Frankie's is great during the day for brunch/lunch or at night for drinks and to party. The food (especially the burgers) was amazing and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. With many TV's showing sports etc you can't go wrong.

Nice little sports pub

By PattonFam |

Great casual sports pub, nothing fancy. Food was decent, our drinks were good and our server was great!

Decent lunch place with interesting options

By J Person |

Had walked past this place several times during the work week, and finally tried it out. It feels like a bar with lots of seating--both high and low tables. Dark walls, but lots and lots of big screens you can see from every angle. I was a little concerned about the prices until the server gave us the lunch specials, all around $8.99. We tried two items: The Bird, a chicken sandwich with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and barbecue sauce. My colleague found the chicken very moist and tasty. A decent sized burger on a brioche bund, it came with a choice of fries or slaw. He took the fries, and there were plenty to share, crispy and seasoned nicely. I tried the Mediterranean Wrap, which was brimming with feta, olives, turkey, hummus, lettuce, onions, cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes. There were sufficient fillings that they did not get lost in the tortilla. I had the slaw, which was served in a decent sized cup and tasted fine--crunchy with carrots, but not very spicy. The food came quickly and was hot. Our server was friendly and helpful. It came out to less than $10 before tip--we would go back. Want to try the burger and the pizzas and the blackened chicken Caesar.

Good food, great service.

By Anita C |

Food was good. Angel 2as our waiter and he took care of group and was wonderful! This is a sports bar downtown with televisiond everywhere and a great place to watch sports.

Great place to watch football if you are from out of town and you want to watch your favorite team

By Greg P |

My son and I were in town for the Cotton Bowl game and on Sunday we were looking for a place to see our home town team (Philadelphia Eagles) play. This bar has two different levels with many TVs on each floor. They had just about every game on and you could ask then to put a game on a tv that was open. They were very accommodating. Beers were good - decent variety on tap and bottles. We only had two small apps and they were both good. The best wax the Eagles won and the Cowboys lost and we won the NFC East!

Simple ,but hearty food

By Diane G |

Visited as a family of three for an early evening meal and drink. Food was simple served in a basket. We had the fish and chips and the burger, which were ample portions and very good quality. Server was very helpful and great atmosphere in the bar.

Sports Bar with Atmosphere

By TommyCFL |

I went here on a Monday night. The place was really busy! When a place is busy it's always a good sign. There was one seat left at the bar so I snagged it. The bartenders were very friendly. The drink list and beer selection was extensive. I didn't eat but the food I saw coming out looked really delicious. This place has a ton of TVs. The vibe for Monday Night Football was electric. I highly recommend this place.

RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE A WING LOVER

By André Mart. |

A delight of wings, I loved the atmosphere and the very delicious food. Eager to get back again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE A WING LOVER

My kind of place

By hdawg89 |

Sports, rock music, good beer! What more can I say...the food is really good, great value if you get one of the lunch or bar apps specials, sliders and flatbreads were a big hit for us! For something different give the strawberry, goats cheese and balsamic flatbread a go!

Disappointing

By gottohavecoffee |

It used to be my favorite sports bar when it was in uptown Dallas. The downtown location is very different. Shared pizza with friends and had a burger. The pizza was great, the burger was worse than what I could get in an upscale burger chain. Service was average, somewhat impatient, and some orders were mixed. The atmosphere was subdued and, having experienced the uptown location, it felt sad and almost like a dive bar. It is OK as a last resort, I wouldn't go back again.

Great happy hour!!

By Prestige World Wide |

Great lunch menu and we stayed for happy hour several times! Honestly the time we left to go to another bar we wished we had stayed at Frankie's!

Great atmosphere

By ysetl |

Me and 6 friends had a great visit. Music in the background, but quiet enough so you can have a conversation without raising your voice. Many TV's for sports viewing. Clean and classy. Waitress, Daniela, was attentive and very pleasant. Food was very good pub food. Get the wings! Highly recommended for a nice, mellow night out with friends. Enjoy!

Great bar

By steven H |

We called here a couple of times. It has sports, music and when we visited fail army on the TV. Don't be fooled by the scaffolding and construction outside get yourself inside. It has a wide selection beers, cider, cocktails and typical bar food. It has happy hour between 3pm and 7pm on weekdays. Beers from $3, cocktails from $5 and a couple of cheap appetizers. Service was really good and the atmosphere was also good and had all the different Sunday NFL games on at once.

Good food, convenient location

By DLN3 |

My sisters and I stopped here for a late lunch after touring around Dallas and going to the JFK Museum. We had the flatbread and jalepenos for appetizers, which were really good. Since we were there around 2:30pm on a Friday, it wasn't too busy but the atmosphere was nice. We would have preferred to sit outside, but there are only like 2-3 outdoor tables. Overall good experience though.

Less haste, more speed..

By zoomzoomboyuk |

Great atmosphere but bar staff don’t listen, ordered a wrap and got sandwich, slaw never arrived. Food was good but expected better reading the reviews.

Frankie's Burger Must-Have!

By Katie B |

The Frankie's Burger is a 10/10! 100% would order this again. Perfect lunch spot on a Saturday in Dallas!

Seriously Good

By Miscongenial |

We found this place because everything else was closing or not serving dinner. It was 11pm on Monday night and there were several patrons. The food was good and drinks even better. I highly recommend getting a pizza. My sister ordered the hot wings and said they were good too. This was also within walking distance from the Aloft Hotel which was nice.

Amazing Craft Cocktails

By Buck Chogan |

They will ask you exactly how you want a drink and give you options that you never thought of. Katlyn was amazing and friendly.

Best burger ever

By Joglo |

I just walked in from the street without any idea how it would be. The staff is very friendly and I just had the best burger ever - and I have had a few in my life. Absolutely recommended!

Went for a drink, visited the Underground area & had the BEST nachos

By lahelsel |

Watched the Presidential debate and MNF in one place with awesome service and food. It was very busy for a Monday night and still had great service. Very fun!

Go to Frankie’s

By Compass693850 |

Alexes is the best. I’m in town on business and she made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Food was delicious and drinks on point. I highly recommend

So good we returned the next day

By msafari3556 |

We were staying in downtown Dallas and we asked at the desk for a good place to eat. He recommended Frankie’s Downtown. He was not wrong. Good food, not too loud…you could still have a conversation. I liked the service. Brunch the next day was wonderful.

Downtown bar food

By ncsccrdad |

We didn’t have particularly high expectations but in fact our average expectations were barely met. Service was very spotty related to attentiveness and timeliness. The pizza was good and the nachos were lacking. Apparently there is always a crowd here and this night was no different with baseball playoff games on most of the screens. This place is what it is a basic downtown sports bar

Good

By Popoola |

Great food great atmosphere fantastic place after work at the center of activity downtown. Fantastic service in handling large crowds

got a place to sit and a drink but thats all

By Grant B |

We went for lunch but after sitting at one of the 5 empty tables that were there that was not clean, we were given our drinks but never got to order anything else. The waitress never came back. Won't be going here again...

Need to try again at a different time

By Liz B |

Frankie’s was across the street from our hotel and we decided to try it for dinner on a Saturday evening. Our experience was average, but I think our timing contributed greatly to that. There was a lot going on downtown so it was crowded and noisy, but our server was still attentive. They weren’t offering the full menu so it was hard to accommodate our kiddos, and what they did get was a bit burnt. We had to wait a while for the food and were missing some items when we got it. We did get some super delicious queso! All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and apologetic about the noise/wait/etc, so we’ll definitely give it another try next time we stay downtown.

Nice bar

By Russ0404 |

I liked this bar, they had pretty good burgers and a good selection of beers. Nice setting and comfortable. TV's with sport around. Not too much in this area of downtown and I thought this was the best bar.

Fun game day spot

By PhillyFanUK |

We came to watch a footballer game and had a blast. Local beer flight made it more fun to try new things on tap and the food was good. Portions were pro ably for group sharing as 2 of us struggled to get through 2 appetizers. Good options for wings, appreciated the choices. And there were so many screens you could choose between 4 different NFL games simultaneously.

Dinner @ Frankie's

By Mae C.O. |

We were at Crowne Plaza hotel and decided to have dinner somewhere near. It turned out to be an awesome place with tasty food and a great selection of drinks. Recommended

Fantastic Brunch!!

By GDGandTBiggs |

We were walking by on a Saturday morning and saw this place served Chicken and waffles, so we gave it a go. Glad we did, as they were delicious. It was a huge serving and only took about 15 minutes. We also got their chorizo breakfast tacos and they were equally as good. I have not tried any of their main menus, but if it's like their breakfast options, I'm sure it's great. Also, the staff was exceptionally friendly and timely. Definitely would return.

Great bar food

By Richard R |

In town for a business meeting and stopped in for dinner at the bar. Had hot wings and the Davis salad. Food was very good with quick service. Had a blood and honey draft beer which was also good. Watched some baseball. Good time.

Cool vibe, but...

By al3ts |

...food was ok, service was slow, and order was incorrect. Our server, when she finally came to our table, was nice, but not not at all knowledgeable about the menu or what drinks were available. She was strictly an order taker. Our meal, when it finally came, was decent, but the order was slightly incorrect. The ribeye was supposed to come with country potatoes and instead it showed up with seasonal vegetables. The check, when it finally came, wasn't bad: Asian chicken salad, small ribeye, and three adult beverages—$66 and some change. Overall, cool place to have a drink and watch a game.

Good food and the most TVs I have ever seen in one place

By Anne L |

We went to Frankie's twice - the first time was great but the second time we waited over 30 minutes to place our drink orders. The food was good and the portions were large enough that we shared two meals between three persons. Again, margaritas are a house specialty - I suggest the frozen margarita to quench your thirst after a day of sightseeing.

Good place for Lunch or Happy Hr

By MJM676 |

Walked in for lunch and found out happy hour was from 11 to 7. Show fights, games and a very diverse drink menu and food menu... Bar tender was very friendly.... will be back... Nice scene...

Great food and great atmosphere

By Matthews33 |

Food was very good at a very reasonable price. TVs EVERYWHERE so great to sit in to enjoy some sports action which adds to the atmosphere. Initially server forgot we had come in and took a while to take order but after that was rectified it was very good service from there on in.

Later Dinner

By PHLee7ca |

Along Main St., downtown near Field St. with outdoor seating. Good bar food and drinks. The Fish and Chips was very good, the tartar sauce had a nice "kick" to it. My wife enjoyed her Mediterranean Wrap. Good selection of beers and ambience. Lot's of TV's and the bar had a bank of TV's all tuned into sports. Service was slow...took 5-10 mins after being seated to be asked for our drinks. They were training new staff as wait staff came in 2's to our table. We were arrive there around 8pm on a Thursday nite.

Place to meet up for a drink

By gregch63 |

Good for a cold drink and a large range of beer the burger was so good .lots of TV to watch sports. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Nice place to unwind after a long day and walking distance to the hotel

Great food, fun atmosphere

By Katie J |

Stopped here for a brunch upon landing in Dallas and was pleasantly surprised by the food, drink and atmosphere. Would recommend the spicy bloody marys with all the fixings and no one of our group of 12 had anything bad to say about their food so try it all.

One the best ever

By nicole v |

This is probably one the best bar and grills I have ever been to. Being from out of town looking for some good food, decided to try here. Their bacon wrapped Jalapeno poppers were amazing, along with their chips and salsa. We liked it so much, we decided to go back the next day for lunch. They have an amazing brunch menu, we decided to have the wings, we tried two different boneless ones, a ranch flavor and a Japanese pepper/honey flavor. Both were to die for. Now, not only was the food amazing, but a lady called Momma Red who runs the bar was just as amazing. She was very friendly, knew the menu and what was a great choice to try. Sat and talked with us a bit and made it feel like we were just regulars coming in to hang out. It was by far the best service I have ever received anywhere as everyone was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be making trips to this place whenever in that area.

Good appetizers and drinks!

By Kendu24 |

Came here to eat something small after our long drive into dallas. Had the fondue dip and some boneless wings. The fondue was creamy with a little hear and the chip ratio to dip was perfect. Just would have added chorizo instead of the ground beef. The wings were very tasty, mild heat and lightly battered. The drinks were cold and the service was pleasant.

Watched Super Bowl LII here, great atmosphere!

By NYR421 |

Watched the super bowl here and I was amazed at how many people were rooting for the eagles. A bar in dallas rooting for a hated rival?! Anyway, great service, reasonably priced drinks and the food was better than expected. A great spot to pound a few beers and watch sports.
