popped over to NY for a short stay and stayed in the Fitz it is fun, irish pub next door if that is what you are into, kids were amused to a point however outside the front door is NY so biggest playground ever. Food good in restaurant but ate out a bit because a little bit too expensive and with every food joint within skipping distance you just have to eat like New Yorkers Hotel itself great decor, friendly staff especially the american irish as well as the waiting staff. The irish staff were great fun and knew everywhere so told us where to go and what to see once we did the usual trips great weekend, good food, exciting and friendly

Got a table straight away, very prompt response and drinks came straight away, the food however took longer and we asked twice were it was, when it did arrive it was good, but expensive for pub food, the waitress who served us was grumpy gave us our bill and put her tip on as $60.00 which we did not pay my brother gave her what was expected, but how a leopard can change its spots, not a very comfortable situation

We are only back from the Fitzpatrick hotel which we took our mother for her 60th birthday we could not thank them enough. Best by far hotel we have ever stayed in friendly, accommodating, rooms were beautiful & food was gorgeous. Made it a holiday to remember. Great location.

I booked the Fitzpatrick after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. I needed a midtown east location for a quick overnight stay. Upon entering the hotel I noticed how rich and warm the lobby was. Unfortunately I had no time to try the restaurant but it certainly looked warm and inviting. I was very surprised to enter my room. It was large and beautifully decorated. So unlike many New York City hotels. There was plenty of space to move around. I guess that is the benefit of an older Hotel, the rooms are actually quite spacious. I was in room 1206. The bathroom was a rich marble with a large walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I recently visited the Fitzpatrick hotel and were amazed how beautiful everything is! All of the staff were all so accommodating. We never had to ask for anything and were completely spoiled on our getaway! The Irish bar was the perfect place to go over our itenereary, and the cocktails made it hard to leave! Our getaway was beyond perfect, and we have The Fitzpatrick to thank for that.

Lively and pleasant experience eating in the bar with some nice mainstream but good variety of beers and very tasty burger and chips.

This was the best hotel we ever stayed at in New York. My daughter and I stayed there for a weekend to see a Broadway show. They were so kind and welcoming and treated us like royalty. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in a long time. The sheets were clean and crisp and the room was spotless. We got spring water, chocolates. and slippers whenever we asked and they even offered to turn down our bed. A bathrobe is provided in the beautiful bathroom. Room was huge compared to other rooms you get in New York City. Overrall, we will definitely be back to the Fitzpatrick! Thank you for making our stay so special.

Bar is really pretty awful. Location of the hotel of course is great. We were staying in an amazing apartment on 57th for a couple months and had hoped the Fitzpatrick bar would be an ideal “local” to pop in to regularly for a drink and snacks. But to be honest the bar food is not Irish at all - and not even good faux American. The wine like their NZ Sauvignon is actually undrinkable. Pity - the price of the glass is great by NY standards - but honestly - get decent wine and charge more and clients would be happier.

We stayed three nights at the Fitzpatrick this past July. We ate both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and found it very well staffed with friendly and efficient waiters. The food was passable, nothing fantastic, but Irish food is not known for having a lot of pizzazz...just comfort food which they did well.

Stayed in Fitzpatricks recently for the second time.We arrived early and they were very helpful and let us check in as we were tired after our flight. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed and was very spacious .The staff are great in the bar and restaurant also.We did'nt have a meal there but the food looked good.I can recommend the breakfast and they serve Irish tea, which is an added bonus! This is a very central hotel and ideal for a stay in Manhattan .

Always find Manhattan intimidating, particularly the traffic. The Fitzpatrick provides sweet relief with its gracious service and grand welcome. To my delight, I was up-graded to a suite! It could not have been more perfect. The mattress was exceptional as was the bedding. There were some lovely details like the beautifully patterned tile on the bathroom floor. The Pub ,though small, serves wonderful fare including Irish favorites. I did find the lobby very small, but space is ever at a premium in Manhattan. Let me heartily recommend the Fitzpatrick for your stay in Gotham.,

Small, friendly hotel with a european feel. Great location. Enjoyed staying at this hotel and would recommend.

We just had a nice stay at the Fitzpatrick. We were there for one night. The location was convenient. The hotel is not that big, so it was easy to get in and out of. The staff members we met were all very nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was small, but quiet and very comfortable. We got a great night’s rest. Shower worked great. The only issue I had was the tv was mounted on a wall on the side of the room that resulted in an odd viewing angle, but you don’t come to NY to watch tv. We would definitely be happy to return here next time we visit New York.

I stayed at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan for 4 days. It was the perfect location for me as I did not want to stay in a large hotel. Hotel and restaurant is lovely and quaint. Wonderful Irish breakfast served. Very nice staff and a special mention to Dylan, a definite asset to the Fitzpatrick.

You have to try the sea bass on the menu (if they still have it) that was dope!! I love my seafood meals and love when its cooked slowly. Breakfast was good. Americans love their pancakes though :-)

This hotel is the perfect combination of classy and homely. Chris and all of the staff are so welcoming, hospitable and accommodating. As guests from Ireland, it was like having a bit of home from home. The food was great and we enjoyed some pre-drinks in the bar before heading out to the city! Such a reasonably priced hotel for so central a location. Cannot rate this hotel highly enough! Mary-Kate Roche, Ireland

It's right next door to the hotel, it's a neat little spot to catch up with friends (I like it). It's an Irish "pub" complete with an irish bartender, lol. I enjoy my top shelf cosmo and my friend had a hot toddy (yes!). They have a nice bar food menu. I had their steak fries in curry gravy, yes and it was amazing. My friend ordered the nacho supreme. TheThe ambience, the spot is small yet we were able to jam a good dozen people around the bar. Price, for a hotel restaurant it's not too expensive. Soup $7, burger deluxe $15. Brunch, yes. Date spot, I think it's a better after the date, date spot. Kid friendly, I would say no. Handicap access yes. What's nearby, ooooo a lot. Bloomingdales, MoMA, a lot of art galleries, movie theater. Subway, yes major lines at 59th street. Parking, yes. On the street where posted (after 7pm and meters) and there are parking garages nearby. I say go and enjoy a hot toddy on cold NYC day at the Fitz.

Loved eating here in this quaint Irish restaurant. Choices were limited but wonderful! Rather than explore for breakfast options, we chose to eat here each morning after our first breakfast.

I have already reviewed the Hotel and Breakfgast. We also ate on three occasions in the restaurant for an evening meal . My comments are simple. I love food and have eaten in great restaurants but I believe in good value for what you are eating . Given nearly all the eating places around time square to me Fitzpatricks offers great simple food well presented and great customer service and good value ( Some of the locals eat there and that says all). The place was packed the nights we ate there . There was a buzz about the place

We stayed for 4 nights and found the staff super friendly & helpful. The room was perfect, the beds the most comfortable ever experienced. The location fantastic and still quiet enough to get a full nights sleep. Well done to everyone involved

Fitzpatrick’s Manhattan is a decent Irish hotel with friendly staff and a nice bar. The food is average. Service is good.

We worked with Maria at the Fitzpatrick Hotel Group to secure a block of rooms for our New York Wedding. We knew we were in good hands after she emailed me soon after my inquiry via the hotel’s general mailbox congratulating us on our engagement and offering information about group rates. She went above and beyond to assist us and my guests with reservations, even getting on the phone with people to assist them with arrangements. We stayed at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan location and every person we encountered from the front desk to the restaurant staff to housekeeping were so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and if we needed anything (such as extra towels, coffee, etc.) we got it immediately. We were very pleased. Since our wedding was in Central Park, the location was perfect!

I recently stayed at The Fitzpatrick's Hotel in Manhattan. I found the staff, so kind, helpful and personable. An unexpected personal situation arose for me while travelling, but I felt very supported by various staff members. Chris, Ciara, Patrick, Aaron, Gillian, and Edwin, all made me feel so welcome, each day after my travels it was like returning to a little family. I would definately recommend this hotel, as it was a little Oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle and I hope to return again soon.

A really nice quaint hotel with nice bars, a good atmosphere and some lovely food. The chicken pot pie was excellent. Receptions were very helpful as was everyone at the hotel. My room was just a little bit small but maybe you can book larger rooms. A little tip. The coffee machine only works when the light switch is on.

This little restaurant attached to the Fitzpatruck Hotel is excellent. Try the calamari, nachos, Bosc pear & spinach salad or Shepherd's Pie. All rated excellent in my humble opinion. The salad is particularly amazing. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Prices are moderate for being in the city. Dress anywhere from casual to business attire. There's a bar as well. The drinks are made perfectly and the alcohol tasted like the true brand. Good eats, fair prices, quick service.

This is an outstanding small hotel 4 blocks from Central Park. The suite rooms are spacious and well appointed. The service was excellent, warm and very gracious, especially James. The bed, linens and towels were all first class and the shower was wonderful. We will definitely stay again when we are in NYC.

The dining room was very nice and the food reasonable. Irish fare, which I like sometimes. We both enjoyed it. My only complaint is our waiter disappeared after bringing our food and I really wanted a water fill up. Went to look for him once but gave up. He finally returned with water and apologies. Be aware they added a 17% service charge for two people. Read the bill before you leave an additional tip!

Wonderful English breakfast. Coffee on the weak side, but drinkable. The staff were quick to serve and let you know how long it would be to get your meal. Nice place all around

I stop by here periodically for a pot of tea and their fresh-baked scones with clotted butter and jam. You have to wait about 20 minutes for them to come out of the oven, so relax and enjoy a pot of tea while you wait. Yummy! Their Irish breakfast menu is a lot of fun, but I'm hooked on those scones :)

Decent enough location, staff were 100%, must've been the Irish owned nature. Super accommodating and flexible, wouldn't hesitate to go back. Great rooms too and good fun in the bar.

Fitzpatrick hotel Manhattan did not disappoint, from my first email to clarify room configuration to checkout after a fab 5 nights I could not fault either interior or staff. The beds were like marshmallows, so comfortable and having the benefit of the king/queen suite we were very spoiled. The wet bar was great as we were able to have tea or coffee in our room and the chamber maid kept us in tea bags. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to return some day.

Super dinner. Great service and made to feel right at home. We'll go back for sure. Had breakfast, room service and dinner. All wonderful!

We stayed at Fitzpatrick's over Christmas. it was lovely. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and the general ambience was light and welcoming but I think the highlight was the room. It was spacious and impeccably clean and the beds were really comfortable. I will definitely stay at Fitzpatrick's again.

This is a great little hotel right near Grand Central Terminal 44th Street at Lexington Avenue. It is surrounded by delightful little restaurants and pastry shops. It was perfect for my business trip.
Went because it was convenient and was happily surprised
Back at the Fitzpatrick for a second stay. Went downstairs because it was convenient. Happily surprised by our lunch experience. Food tasty and fresh (sandwich for me, salad for my wife). Staff was welcoming. Whole experience was great. Recommend the restuarant to anyone looking for a good food, good atmosphere and at a good price.
