The decor was funky. The food was great for the price. Staff was upbeat, attentive, yet laid back. Clientele was very friendly. Owner cared what we thought. Would give a 4.5 if that was a choice.

This little restaurant exceeded all my expectations even having seen hope highly it is rated across yelp and Google etc. The cocktails are fantastic, the food was tasty and kept making me hungry for more, the atmosphere is laid back and to top it off the service was top notch. For anyone visiting New York or even locals I could not recommend this place more highly.

I went to Forget me Not just because was very close to my hotel, but at the end, was an amazing surprise. The food is good, drinks are good and the atmosphere super cool, what more we need?

Super nice place with great staff ,great food and great cocktails. The only bad thing is that it can be a bit cold in it.

Great restaurant , great food great cocktails, fun staff! It was my premiere night in NYC we had a blast! The cocktails are really good ! Go there without a doubt :-) cheers from France

Good food and better inside than the outside may suggest. Lots of artwork, photos and ornaments to see. Toilet in an old freezer room is a must. Compliments the street art walk and came recommended by Ludie on the tour.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel nearby. The service was warm and friendly on a cold winter night. I had the pan-seared chicken was excellent, and my husband had a burger. We would definitely go back when we are in New York again.

Absolutely great afternoon ,watching England Colombian match!,,great atmosphere and Beer !!!! Love from the Geordie Pauline from the UK xx

Sticker Ridden Walls, 80's jams, craft beers, random decor, everything I love about little hole in the wall places. My sister and I were visiting NY for the weekend and this place reminds me about some of the dives I love down here at home in Miami. Food: I had a English muffin cheeseburger with fries, it was dripping with juice and the fries were flavorful and crunchy... I could go on and on but I will just leave you with me saying the food was outstanding as well as the experience as a whole!

Surf/Beach themed bar on a quiet little street tucked between the Lower East Side and Two Bridges (ok so it's the outskirts of Chinatown). Didn't try the food (which looked like ordinary bar food), but loved the relaxed vibe. Great place to grab a drink with a friend or a low-maintenance date

Having just landed and checked into a local hotel and little sleep hoped for some nice food for a Saturday evening. Found this place by mistake as we were looking for another restaurant. Pleasantly surprised by the buzzing sat night vibe of locals enjoying food and drinks. We opt for a quieter table through the back and order steak frites x 2 and two rounds of large beers. Steak was cooked medium and to perfection, both enjoyed v much. A little garnish would have finished it off as a nice touch but can't have everything. Enjoyed surroundings, good food, chat and nice atmosphere for our first night in NYC! Will definitely be returning before end of our trip. Decor is mis match style of reclaimed wood, bohemian throws and lights, sounds strange but works well. Visited Sat 3 Sept YB NYC 2016 first night.

Great place, good drinks, nice food!!! Really nice place "only for locals" (be careful :P) You won't be disappointed

It is a very little restaurant in The edge of Chinatown. Very tasty foods and very reasonable prices. I recommend you to try Argentinian Skirt Stake and strawberry short cake. Lounge is very small but don't worry it is cozy and confy. You will like The place.

Looking for a late night eatery near Chinatown. Very New York...charming, eclectic, local flavor. Ordered the grilled cheese with fries as a midnight snack and it was perfect!

Great quirky bar in the back streets of Chinatown! Very friendly and attentive staff . We had lunch before our flight home and it was Superb. Just wished we found this place sooner as it would have been a great place to come for a few drinks during the evening!!

Met a friend for drinks. The drinks were delicious and the service was great. I also loved the atmosphere here.

Found this on the penultimate night of a 6 night stay at the Howard Johnson Soho. Food was really good. Steak melted in the mouth, fish platter really tasty and a good cheese burger and fries. the decor is eclectic so don't expect the more swish like bars of midtown. the music is really good, well it was when we were there, Its a bar so not a children's place.

Great neighborhood bar tucked away on the LES on Division Street between Ludlow and Orchard. Lots of fun, lots of people, some good salads and other foods on the menu. Don't look for advertising or Facebook - the owners want to keep it as a neighborhood bar, far from the BnT (Bridge and Tunnel) crowd.

I've been doubting abt leaving a review for this place..just out of selfish interest: that's a pearl and you don't want to see it packed with tourists!!! Awesome place, great and unique atmosphere and ambient, amazing service and, most important, delicious food!!!! Highly recommended to foodies and drinks lovers. Don't miss it!!

This little spot in Chinatown is my go-to for just about any occasion. The place is filled with souvenirs from the owners' lives creating an eclectic mix of nostalgia. Friendly folk, groovy music, spicy cocktails & delicious food.

Excellent food. Very good menu, a lot of choice. Very tasty and quirky foods offered here. I had the couscous with grilled chicken for the main that was honestly satisfyingly tasty and I like to think healthy too. I got the strawberry cheesecake for the dessert which was just delicious (to balance out my healthy main, of course).

We were visiting the local skateboard park and asked a local friend for a lunch recommendation in Chinatown. We weren't expecting much. Some outdoor seating. Eclectic design inside (random items, stickers, artwork)... but it works for the place. During our visit there were two people we encountered, both women, one appeared to be waiting tables/bar and the other appeared to be a manager. They were both friendly and were really on top of everything. Very well run place. The menu was as eclectic as the design, which concerned me at first thinking they don't specialize in anything so who knows what the food would be like. The food was AMAZING. I had an Avocado Egg Sandwich. It sounds really simple but it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. My entire family loved their food as well. My brother-in-law also ordered an egg dish and said it was the best egg dish he's ever eaten. I highly recommend this place if you want a really great tasting lunch in an interesting setting with a management staff who really knows what they're doing.

Stopped for a quick lunch with another couple. The place looked packed but a terrific waiter walked us to a back room with plenty of seating. Steak sandwich, grilled cheese, and pulled pork sliders were terrific. We tried all four craft beers on the specials menu. We had such a great timethat we returned later that night for more IPAs and cornflake cookies.

I got a fish enter here and a drink. Not only was it affordable but the fish was delicious and cooked to perfection. They have a nice little creative cocktail menu as well. Also a cute place to bring a special someone.

Four of us went to dinner around 8 pm on a Wed night. The vibe was casual in the restaurant and it was pretty full. The service was excellent. I opted for the grilled fish tacos and kept to the Moscow Mules. Both the food and drinks were excellent. I would go back for sure and it is a great spot if you are in the Chinatown/Little Italy area.

Such a great little bar, well worth a visit. We went for a drink and there is a good selection of draft beers which are reasonably priced (I think $5-6 per pint) and a variety of cocktails. We didn't eat there but I've heard the food is good.

4pm on a Tuesday and this eclectic bar on the Lower East Side still in Chinatown quickly filled up. We didn't eat but menu looked good. Creative potent cocktails that went down well. Gorgeous day and everyone was enjoying the summer like day. Attentive friendly staff. The young guy we went with goes frequently at night for the wilder atmosphere.

I've been a Lower East Sider for more than a decade now and I can't think of a neighborhood restaurant I've fallen in love faster and frequented more times than ForgetMeNot. A true hidden gem of the L.E.S.!

We were happy with the food and atmosphere, but the level of hygiene left some questions. There were great options on the menu and some good dishes. We both liked our food. The drinks tasted quite strongly of alcohol. What brings the points down is that someone brought a dog into the restaurant and our waitress went to pet it. Looked like the dog licked her hand as well. She did not wash her hands before she went right back to serving the customers!! Yuck... So when I got a stomach ache not too long after, I can't help but wonder about the food as well.

We've eaten here for breakfast and dinner, but breakfast is best, yummy, well presented and serves good portions. At first sight the skateboarding theme decor can throw you off, but once seated the eclectic sight is interesting and the staff friendly. For the price, the steak is delicious as everything else we tried. The breakfast burrito was so good.

Just a solid place to hang with super creative cocktails and really nice med food. The grilled shrimp are outstanding and if you want a simple bite with your drink, go for the pita and spreads. Alll the people who work there are friendly and really attentive. Cool vibe from the patrons - a mix of LES and school teachers.

We LOVED this place. It is a very trendy hip restaurant. Nothing like this in Australia. The food was fantastic and super cheap. Staff were so nice and friendly. We ate here 3 times in 6 days. LOVED IT.

So this joint is sort of hidden away. It's in / near Chinatown, but not at all a Chinatown place. It's a very cool place with good food and a nice staff.

Awesome looking bar (and toilet) -- they were great about using the bathroom. Dead at midday with friendly bartender. Referred by the guys at Labor skate shop around the corner.
Exceeded our Expectation
This restaurant was recommended by the hotel front desk staff and was within a 5 minute walk. The place was hopping but we were well attended to by the owner and one of the servers. The food was extremely tasty.
