Large variety, fresh and tasty and mostly fast

By MarkV709 |

First time coming here and loved it. Place was packed but you move through the lines quickly. Separate make your own salad line but more efficient than a buffet. Soup bar with lots of choices. Sandwich bar with a many choices from the display case. Soup and salad for two just under $40. Probably a bit more pricey than fast food and the "add-ons" can add up. This was a good choice.

Good food, reasonable price

By Sylvia D |

The staff is very friendly and the food is on the healthy side. The line was long but the staff gets you through in no time.

Eat decently healthy

By Lorenzo P68 |

It is one of the 3 major chains that makes salads in NY. There is a pre-established menu or you can assemble it yourself if you have the courage to deal with a quantity of types of salads, ingredients and dressings beyond human imagination. A good solution to eat decently healthy (at least we hope) for a reasonable price.

Good experience

By Alessia71xyz |

This shop is part of chains of stores so you will find one at any corner. It is served fresh, healthy and tasty food. You can choose sandwiches or salads according to your mood. The quality is guaranteed. Staff is friendly and helpful

Awesome food prepared right in front of you with super fresh ingredients.

By Kathryn F |

Salads, quinoa bowls, soups, chili and yummy sandwiches. My favorite is the Mongolian Bowl with sautéed kale, kalamata olives, feta cheese and scallions. I add chicken to this as well and the staff prepares while you watch. Clean, with some counter & stool style seating, however most customers seem to take their food to go.

Delicious

By Lauren D |

I had the falafel salad and my husband the falafel panini. The salad was delicious. It had a nice balance of crunchy, juiciness, and a touch of heat.

Perfect, fresh, healthy and tasty 😋

By Fiammetta L |

Delicious, what I needed after some days of touristy junk food. Thank you guys, hope to find you again along my NY walks 😘 Excellent quality/price Super espresso coffee ❤️

They really are fresh!

By Kari T |

Love the concept of this restaurant. Fresh and fast food - loved the greek yogurt cup with fresh fruit, grains and honey. The rice pudding was outstanding with the dried cherries, I want some more! The service was quick and efficient, lots of fresh salads and sandwiches from which to choose. I will go back on my next trip to NYC.

great service & falafel sandwich

By indyjonetta |

busy popular place at lunch time… I got a falafel sandwich on a seeded roll. They toasted the sandwich before cutting and wrapping it to go. Delish.

Breakfast place

By Selena R |

Breakfast Manu is great, food is so fresh and tasty. You can make your own omelet, salad , egg sandwiches.... Prices are ok, egg portions are fine but salads are quite big(and that is not bad at all) :) Lunch menu is different and that is reason I don't give 5* but 4. We had 3 different sandwiches and all of them had some mix spices spread on bread which only ruined amazing taste of other fresh ingredients. I would recommend to everyone to try Fresh and Co's delicious breakfast menu, enjoy!!!

Fresh food, reasonable prices, clean tables

By Needagoodbed |

There appear to be numerous of these in NY. Being next to the hotel we were staying at, it was extremely convenient for breakfast, and we returned two times. The staff, though friendly, seemed to be a bit disorganized; as if they don't really have a system for who is supposed to do what--luckily we were there during quiet times. I can't imagine what it might be during rush hour. The omlettes, eggs, and sandwiches were all good. One egg sandwich was only slightly warm, which is a minor detail, but it would have been much better hot.

Great restaurant

By Luca R |

Very nice locations of this chain always in great locations. Clean rooms and polite and always available staff. Excellent products always fresh. Cheap.

Great fresh selections

By Anthony M |

Great do it yourself price at reasonable price. Many other goodies available. Only complaint is cramped seating.

Best salad ever

By garyparker231 |

I knew NYC did things well but you have to admire this place for salads. They have everything and anything you can make up your own or have one of their menu. The salads were just beautiful big and had healthy options in there like kale and other greens. I wish I could have one back in Tunbridge Wells as this would go down a treat. Better than subway and better than anything I’ve had before.

Great Salads

By Art C |

Have eaten lunch here twice and has been great each time. Build your own salads bar, kale & arugula with butternut squash was awesome! Great size and fresh. Highly recommended

Finally, some health food on NYC

By Shane M |

Being a typical tourist, we were mobbed by the bright signs, fatty burgers, side cart stalls, pizza and hot dogs. After all that we needed a healthy option and stumbled upon Fresh and Co. MASSIVE selection and fresh produce. Highly recommended!

great fast fresh food restaurant

By tandtraveller |

loved everything, the service was warm, friendly and helpful..the food was fresh, healthy and delightfully delicious. The place was spotless...what a great place for a fast, good for you, delicious and affordable meal

Sunday Breakfast

By Steven B |

Arrived here for breakfast in a Sunday morning. Enjoyed a spinach omelette and some avocado toast. The space is very clean and pleasant. I would recommend!

The food was healthy and really taste good. We would definitely return here to eat when we return to NYC

Outstanding!!

By Betsey C |

There are many Fresh and Co, they are all a little different in their menus, but are all excellent!! Being a vegan, this is a true treat, exceptional.

Great start to our day

By Suzanne K |

We stopped here for a late breakfast/early lunch before we headed out to the sights. It was a great start to our day with lots of fresh, healthy and lite options. I also really appreciated that they used locally sourced foods and business to create their products. Lots of real food options were available. They had fresh made sandwiches, which could be heated up; there was a create your own salad section and soup section; and there were also their own label foods like juices and yogurts/parfaits. We were able to get there just in time to get the last of their morning bakery items. The croissants were so tasty, I didn't even add jelly. The facility was clean and the staff was very friendly. We will remember to stop in again the next time we're down in NYC.

Cold Soup

By Carlene H |

This was my first visit to fresh and co. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered the kale and lentil soup. It was cold. Nobody wants cold soup on a chilly day.

Delicious and many healthy choices too

By Emily B |

We were travelling from England to New York on holiday, and were surprised at how healthy America actually is. There is no places like this in England. It was just round the corner from our hotel (Affinia Manhattan) so we ate there 2 or 3 times. It was the perfect breakfast to start the day - very fresh and delicious. A good choice of breakfast foods, many healthy choices as well. Great place to begin a day.

A little confusing to order, but very good

By Randall B |

for the 569 Lexington Ave location - This place was packed and it seems like they forgot your order, but trust me, they have it. Really good food. Seems like high quality ingredients and very fresh

Good food with fresh ingredients

By MaddiesDad |

Good regular and gluten free options here. My wife had the regular oatmeal with apples and brown sugar, and I had the gluten free huevos rancheros quinoa bowl which was very good.

Great way to detox

By ZaCarlyO |

We had breakfast here and felt so much better for it after eating the typical 'American' food.. It was quick, easy and very tasty..

Happy heathy place

By hannacristina |

Had a vegan bowl and loved it! ❤ Great service, food and clean place! There're so many good options, I really wanted to try everything. I'll definitely come back!

Healthy but pricey

By ROB A |

My buddy and I were looking for somewhere healthy to eat when we came across this location. Looking at the menu, we decided to get the Tex Mex salads. The manager was helping us and was very friendly. The salads were cooked up with spices and chicken. Looked real good. Picked up a soup and two waters and the wow $34 dollars. That was a shocker! The waters were $3.50 each. Now I see a profit margin of success. Other than that the meals were great and the manager very friendly. Definitely a good place for a healthy meal.

Helfy oasis in the fat city

By vinrasp |

If you are searching a good place where to enjoy a good and helfy breackfast or lunch just go to fresh&co. You can take away or èat your food inside. You can enjoy good salad composed as you desire, several type of panini or warm dishes. Very important tgey serve gluten free food.

Great healthy breakfasts

By HanDubai |

We visited when we were staying at a nearby hotel and preferred to eat here rather than at the hotel. Service was quick, staff were friendly and food was tasty!

Great panini

By Phil L |

Excellent panini here, great fresh meats and salads. They stock a good, varied wine selection. Also got a beautiful bouquet of flowers to give someone as a gift.

So Good I Ate There for Breakfast and Lunch!

By tcgje04 |

Amazing breakfast. Got the Make-your-own omelette. Well prepared and quick. Got to select three items. My daughter got the avocado toast and loved it. Also grabbed lunch there. Got the create your own salad. You can select your greens, and 4 items. I paid extra for the seasonal mix and chicken.

Good Food Selections

By ectravelermd |

I tried this place for the first time last week. I was very happy with the food selections. Pricing is commensurate with dining in NYC.

Healthy but still tasty

By Karen C |

This place was just down from my hotel. I had a pannini and the soup. The pannini could have been toasted a little lo ger but it was flavorful and fresh. The chicken and cous cous soup was a nice spin on the traditional chicken noodle. The service was friendly. They were very busy and as typical very short on seats. Will probably comeback during this trip.

Quick, fresh and good

By CobrasU8 |

Great spot for a healthy and quick lunch Homemade soups and prepared as you wait Quinoa bowls are great for lunch.

Fresh food, just as the name says

By bethe55 |

Ate lunch here, had a quinoa bowl. The portions were huge and not terribly expensive; at least by NY standards. My bowl was very tasty, made fresh as I ordered it. It gets crowded at lunch and there could be more places to sit. Great for take out though.

Fresh and good

By lucycan |

Grabbed some food to go from here for a few people. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty. Sides were quite good. Its a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I'd go back.

Excellent!

By cunningtim |

This is an excellent choice for fresh food choices including vegan. Wanted the Portobello Burger, but the were out. Will have to try it next time. Had the Wild Ginger Bowl instead, it was outstanding.

Greta healthy salads

By Susan G |

Excellent salad bowl!! Staff were so lovely and helpful. Sand Lake Road location We had tex mex salad and chilli rice bowl. Both excellent

Great fresh fast food!

By mcdedrick |

This is a great spot to eat and it's conveniently located near Penn station making it a great option for a traveling lunch. I got the Bangkok bowl and it was piping hot and delicious. Good Nevasca for a better hot lunch on a cool day. The place is busy but I found the service to move quite fast and the prices are super reasonable.

Good value, fresh & tasty food!

By David W |

Great value food with healthy options - we had breakfast here every day on our break & enjoyed the omelettes & pancakes without feeling we had filled up with stodge. Friendly staff & very clean.

chain of sandwich and salad bar choices

By motherJo |

I love this place- great panini- all good and the salad bar is always fresh- good for lunch but gets crowded with tourists- some seating but not a lot- not fancy- good soup too- cant go wrong here- prices are average

Fresh!

By Lois M |

Love the fresh food here - such a welcome treat when travelling. Good options for vegetarians too. I had a tossed salad and daughter had a panini. Both were tasty and filling.

Breakfast

By Scott N |

I have visited a couple of times for breakfast, as it is very convenient to where I stay whilst in NYC

Eat breakfast here!

By Victoria M |

This was the only location of the company we visited this trip, and we were hooked. Food is fresh and yummy, there are plenty of healthy options, and prices are quite low considering the quality and size of helpings. Take out or eat-in, you cannot do better than this for a quick meal. We visited several times, once for a sit-down breakfast, and other times for grab-and-go items. The staff are friendly, treat you like individuals which is amazing considering the volume of customers, and seem to be genuinely glad you chose to walk in. The space is light, bright and clean. Choose a stool by the window and enjoy the parade of life while you eat!

Great salad

By Colswife |

They had a great selection of healthy food. I really liked my customized salad. If I'm ever in the area again I will try it again.

Delicious

By Sobeyda G |

Breakfast and lunch were both delicious!! Absolutely love this place!! The food definitely tastes fresh.

lovely food

By haly19 |

Ate here often, their chicken caesar salads are superb. Very slow service though which kind of put me off going in again.

on the go food

By ski65 |

Had breakfast here a few times, its quick , tasty and cheap. We had the breakfast bap with coffee , it was $22 for the two of us.

Great for Grab & Go or Sit Down

By 6_Speed_Automatic |

Had the Chicken Panini and juice which hit the spot. Light enough not to weight you down, yet enough to get you thru the day. Eight minute walk from Penn Station. Courteous staff. Will return.

Great self choice salad and soups

By Jared F |

Was very pleased to have the opportunity to select the ingredients for my salad from at least 6 lettuces, dozens of toppings and dressings.

Really good

By PrincessLak |

Really clean, great menu and lots of choice. The staff were helpful! I’ll definitely come back when I’m next in town.

Really Enjoyed

By Jim s |

Good food, quick service, friendly staff. large choice for vegetarians of both salads and sandwich choices. Easy to find, and a good location to walk after eating.

Not fresh, not good....

By RedCamOp |

Skip Fresh & Co and go to Chopt or someplace else. My salad was flavorless and definitely not fresh. "Crispy Chicken" was more like soggy rubbery chicken. They hardly put anything in the salad. Overall just bad.

Good breakfast!

By Andrew S |

Nice little place, very clean and tidy. Pancakes were delightful but so was the Omelette for breakfast. All seems very well prepared and some good healthy options.

Organic food, Bit pricey

By Jill B |

Hit this for grabbing work lunch. Assembly line as is most sandwich style in neighborhood Gives Pret a Manger etc a run for its money. Soups are tasty if not a bit too trendy and overly healthy. Rice bowls were all tofu, with proteins..so skipped. Excellent curry coconut curry chicken salad on whole grain. But mostly expensive, hipster lunch. Tiny soup, pre made packaged sandwich, seltzer, was $16. Welcome to NY.

Do not pass this by!

By Martin B |

We had lunch here twice, it is seriously impressive. Fresh, tasty, clean healthy food. We couldn’t fault it. We had soup and salad. Incredible flavours and generous portions too.

Yummy!!!

By KezLewis |

Had two separate meals at this place. Both times really good experiences. Its all made freshly for you. Being organic the coffee taste a lot cleaner, less bitter. Particularly enjoyed the quinoa bowls - steamed for extra healthiness!!! Nom nom. Very well priced for what you get. First time we'd experienced flagels - nom nom.

Fresh and delicious for sure!

By daveholden |

I tried this place because it looked so fresh… And it was! The salad and the soup that I had was delicious… I had a lemonade and it too was fantastic. The staff could use a little help been friendlier and more helpful… They had almost a surly attitude… But… It's New York I guess!

Our breakfast location

By ioan_wilson |

We were staying in a hotel close by but would come here for breakfast (just a 5 min walk up 7th Ave) They had a wonderful selection of fresh foods and would cook your meal while you were waiting. Prices were much cheaper than in our hotel

Fresh and Quick

By vrstinger |

Had breakfast here a few times. Fresh, tasty and quick service. They have vegan and gluten free options. Soup, sandwiches, salad and more. Reasonable prices.

The hand tossed salad bar was awesome!

By HKnCali |

It had EVERY thing.....fresh veggies, nuts and seeds, protein, crunchy things and a huge variety of dressings. I was in need of fresh greens and this place delivered.

Food for a flight.

By Helly J |

Nicest food in America is fresh salad. Let's face it it's difficult to screw that up! Good selection of leaves, toppings and dressings. Service ok. Not the friendliest but I've experienced worse elsewhere. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing Fresh Food

By Gary W |

This store was only a couple of doors away from our hotel & we had breakfast there most mornings. Freshly cooked eggs & toast & lovely coffee. Very clean with friendly staff. They served fresh HEALTHY food all day which meant you did not have eat the fatty foods that most other fast food shops served

Quick healthy lunch...lots of quality choices!

By Blase C |

Grabbed a quick bite in-between meetings and was pleased to find Fresh & Co! Lots of healthy choices including salads with your choice of protein. Juices and teas abound for soft drinks...great spot to grab a quick bite.

Good Healthy Food

By David F |

Great place. Food is delicious. Freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and helpful. I'd buy a franchise if they offered it.

amazing breakfast every day

By Tina K |

just around the corner of Stewart Hotel, amazing health food for breakfast and lunch. Can't tell anything about dinner thought.

Fab fab fab

By angela d |

We went here one morning for breakfast, the went back every morning after for 4 days. The place is absolutely spotless, and the freshest fruit and veg I have seen.. I tried an egg white omelette which was gorgeous, then the next day a western ommlette, same again gorgeous, but then ordered a power BLT, omg to die for, if you go here order this... Wish we had one of these place here, I would be there every day,, as we were out for the day we did not eat there lunch or dinner, but would have ate there 3 times a day

great selection of food

By Judy |

We stay in the hotel close by so we came here few times for breakfast. Great selection of food. Fresh and healthy. Prices are good for Manhattan. Had breakfast in different places much more expensive and almost no selection. The only thing that I would improve it's for stuff be more friendly and smile sometime, especially cashier girl. It would leave me as a customer with better feeling and willing to come again.

Outstandingly clean

By EyeDocBrazil |

There some very filthy breakfast joints in Manhattan. This fresh&go place is very clean, offering multiple breakfast choices. A must go place.

Love at first sight....

By Angelicia R |

Love at first sight for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Wish they had more place like in Seattle where I'll be staying for the summer. The bowl was amazing and you could never go wrong with breakfast. Great place.

Great Breakfast

By Blaize76 |

We enjoyed having breakfast here during our stay. It was delicious and reasonably priced. They also had great salads and sandwiches to grab for lunch.

Vere good to eat healthy food

By kiti119 |

The personal was very nice and the food very good. This is a place to go if you are seeking healthy food. A variety of salad is served there, sandwiches and other varities. We found there what we wanted.

Breakfast every day!

By Viquiw |

I went here for breakfast for five days - great to choose fresh ingredients for my omelette - loved it - reasonably priced.

Fresh and Healthy on the Go....

By kimborkr |

Fresh and Co is a great place for tourist and locals to grab a quick bite to eat that is healthy and relatively cheap. They offer simple to go items in their fresh cooler or you can have a custom made sandwich and salad. I actually stopped by early Sunday am on my way to Penn station to get a breakfast sandwich, coffee and snacks for the return home. The service was friendly and fast and the breakfast sandwich was fresh and tasty. Way better than going to a fast food restaurant.

Fresh, tasty and wide variety with fast service

By sparky268 |

We stayed at a nearby hotel and ate here during our visit to NYC. We were able to select from a wide variety of ingredients for our salad bowl. The service was quick, staff were friendly and food was fresh and tasty! The prices were reasonable. Only a few seats in store and no table service. I recommend this place if you are ever in this part of town.

Fresh and Quick

By ono2009 |

This is a good place for a quick, fresh, hot, and healthy meal. Whether you get a quinoa bowel or one of the sandwiches or salad, all the options are tasty and fresh. My favorites are the falafel sandwich, Santa Fe Chicken Salad and the Tex Mex Bowl

Fresh, affordable food

By Mandy C |

Found it great for me, being a vegetarian! Delish omelettes, at a good price. Clean. Lots of choice.

Looking for something different?

By KingBones |

If you want something good and, most of all, nourishing, but still want that feeling of a fast-food joint, Fresh.Co is the place to get your vitamins and a full stomach. Acceptable prices and fast service can be found here, too!

Alright.

By stevoster |

Food was ok. I got breakfast muffin thing with eggs and sausage. Pretty much a McMuffin. Service was fast but unfriendly. Music was ridiculously loud for 7:30am and too upbeat and dancey. On plus side the porridge was nice and the coffee was good.

Lunch on a wednesday

By Kristen W |

Arrived at Fresh & Co per my co workers recommendation. We both got salads and she also got a soup. Lots of options for both. Food was good, I'd go back.

good food and good value

By bocadey |

This became our go-to breakfast place while staying next door at the Affinia Manhattan. It's an innovative and healthy option for fast food. The meals here are high quality, fresh, and rather tasty. It was also extremely good value, but that might be because we were never sure if the staff was billing us correctly. We did check with them on this, and they insisted otherwise, so maybe the food is really just that reasonably priced. The downside here is the confused, bewildered and overwhelmed staff. It generally seemed like only one staff member knew what was going on, but despite their slight panic, they were never curt or rude.

The 3 'F's ....... Fresh, fast and friendly ..... that's F good.

By orchardgrange |

Just back from NYC and missing this establishment, excellent for what is is, simple, quick and good food with a smile. Well done and thank you for adding to our experience in Manhattan.

Fresh, healthy alternative

By John F |

Quinoa salad was very tasty. Packaged up food so it was portable and easy to bring back to the hotel (Affinia Manhattan right next door). You can get a healthy affordable meal - good alternative to street meat (Which can be delicious, but not too often)

An absolute no for vegetarians

By puchki2208 |

Most pathetic food!! I asked for a vegetarian platter and chose the quinoa base and broccoli and sweet potatoes. When she asked me what I’d like for protein I asked if they have a tofu. The server said yes and put a dollop of tofu in there Firstly on payment they charged me for chicken. When I asked the server why she was charging me for chicken she said it was an oversight and corrected it. I began to eat the food and actually found a big piece of chicken. Now I’m strictly vegetarian and had mentioned that when I ordered my food. When I went back to the cashier to show the piece of chicken they immediately denied it. I asked them how could they deny it witbout checking. When he checked he admitted it was a piece of chicken. All he had to say in return was can I offer you a drink instead? No apology! No remorse! No sense of service or courtesy. Did not offer to refund my money back either!!! This place is an absolutely sham !!! Do not ever visit

Good salad

By Potomac_11 |

Got a very good salad to go here. Fresh and a good portion. Worth a try if you are in the neighborhood.

Really fresh tasty food which isn't too expensive

By Brett J |

We were after something a bit fresher and this place fit the bill. You could make your own salad, or grab one of the freshly made sandwiches or rolls. The pancakes were delicious and would highly recommend

Great breakfast

By serteroncu |

During our stay in New York this is the place we usually had our breakfast. Everything is of good quality and very tasty. Definitely recommended!

Wholesome + yummy

By ellen r |

What a revelation! Healthy food: vegan and otherwise for a reasonable price near hotels. We returned for 2 breakfasts and a lunch during our three day stay. I loved their quinoa Mediterranean bowl, avocado toast with eggs, corn muffin , fruit salad, whole grain bread, and coffee. Everything looks appetizing and what we tried was all flavourful. Counter service was prompt and informative. They have a few locations.

Made for Breakfast - the NYC way to start your day

By Eddie R |

Stayed locally so this was the best way to start our day .. lovely bright and super clean A rated location .. lovely serving staff each day who smiled and helped the tourists (us) make sure we ordered what we wanted and not too much so we would be able to walk the city afterwards .. Very busy location but tables were always available after 09.30am ...

Very good, very fresh food. A nice choice near the Garden

By Dale L |

My son and I were in NYC for basketball games at Madison Square Garden and stayed at a nearby hotel. We discovered this as a dining option when we were looking for a breakfast option. It was perfect. Then we returned for lunch and then on another day for dinner as well. Obviously, not a sit down high priced restaurant. But there were excellent food choices. The facility was very clean. The prices were great. Plenty of tables inside for seating. We returned several times over our long weekend in New York. A great casual dining option near the Garden.

Good food, staff needs a little work

By matsays |

Food here is really good, especially if you want to be health-conscious and not spend an huge amount. Staying at a nearby hotel that had no room service, we got breakfasts from here - 3-egg omelettes and oatmeal and fruit. The only complaint is that it's so frenetic in the morning that they didn't hear "takeout" and plated my food, then someone else grabbed my plates and put a finger squarely into the eggs and then the staff tried to just box it (ewww) until I made them make new ones.

wonderful fresh salads

By Shanker B |

We went here for lunch - service is fast and efficient - they make salads fresh to order - I had the Asian Salad and it was bursting with flavor - Loved it. I even made a blunder and left my phone on the counter -- the manager had put it away safely and I was able to retrieve it from here - packed during lunch but the lines move quickly. will definitely visit again

Fresh and quick (3½ star)

By lomaro |

Fine place to drop in and have so thing quick to take away or eat at one of the tables. Had the classic avocado toast and that was well made and tasted good.

Average coffee

By Mark R |

Got a cup of coffee carryout and it was ok, nothing special. They seemed to have a much better selection of food and sandwiches etc,.. over a Starbucks, but the coffee wasn't nothing I would go out of my way for.

Convenient to our hotel and quick

By Alice P |

It was good fast food -- not as good as Sweet Greens in DC. But pretty pricey -- two yogurts and a fresh fruit cup, $20.

Great variety and healthy options

By aussie_possie |

Missed lunch so could only access buffet - lots of tasty options that satisfied the pickiest kids. Good choice especially when you don't want to carry snacks/lunch options around!

Great lunch place

By LouisL100 |

I stopped here for lunch. The food is very fresh and the atmosphere is very clean and spacious. Service was quick as well. I also used the bathroom which I found to be very clean. Would recommend for a good lunch place.

Healthy Breakfast

By Cheflizzie |

Went here for breakfast. Amazing wholegrain croissants and yoghurt with fruit. Great way to start our sightseeing days.

Delicious healthy breakfasts

By Lorraine H |

My husband and I recently visited New York and ate breakfast in here for three days. He is usually a 'full english' type of person but in G Fresh he tried the quinoa bowls. They were absolutely delicious and really filling. We though they were great value too as we stayed full for so long. The other food on display looked lovely too. I would definitely recommend as a quick healthy breakfast to either eat in or on the go.

Totally OK breakfast

By Willem K |

I had the falafel sandwich here and my wife the chicken crust sandwich. They were totally OK - nothing special, but very much OK, a positive experience in NYC for people looking for a good sandwich or salad, for a decent price (~$9)

Fantastic!!!!

By Meegs_23 |

Have visited twice already and plan to go back. First time we had a panini the 2nd a salad. Both times we went after 9pm the store itself was clean and tidy and the food perfectly fresh! Fantastic food choice as apposed to holiday treats! Hubby and I are hooked!!!

Healthy and nice - great for breakfast!

By Nick B |

This is a great place for breakfast and makes a healthy alternative to hotel breakfasts and other New York food - other times of the day you can get nice salads etc. Food is all freshly made and not smothered in grease and oil. Made to order omelettes, pancakes and bagels - a great breakfast selection, at a good price and quick too. Also lots of fruit, great salads and other organic stuff. ...and nice coffee :-)

Wonderful food

By ROSEAUSTIN |

Great place when your on the go to get healthy and tasty food! Try it out! I would definitely go more often if I lived in NYC.

Very expensive

By bernarella |

Food was cold and expensive, much better value at neighbouring outlets. Staff were not very helpful.

Charge for tap water behind a $14.00 order!!!

By JOHN N |

I had a decent French toast breakfast with bacon and coffee; however, when I asked for a cup of tap water I was told that the charge was $ 0.75. I am not accustomed or appreciate this type of charge as my order was $14.00.

From coffee, to snacks and salads

By Kiflu G |

Food: Well assorted and prepared on the spot, while you can watch. High price, but better than elsewhere. Being Manhattan: the price is as it is.

Fresh and delicious

By Annaline |

My bagel with salmon and cream cheese was excellent. I watched the guy make it and saw he took care while making it. He did not just through it together. It tasted so much better. My coffee was also just the way I like it. My breakfast left a very nice lingering taste. I will be back and most definitely be telling people about it.

Fast service and great for lunch

By F S |

They had a great selection, with a nice portion size, which was great for lunch. The service was very quick even with a long lineup and the staff was always very friendly. Their salad is always fresh and they have some tasty combinations on the menu!

Fresh, Fast, Cold Salad

By tinydiny |

First visit convinced me that this place was good so I went back for a total of 4 salads in 2 days! Stayed in the Garment District at the Marriott and this was just steps away on the corner and it was always busy when I walked by so I decided to give it a try and I am happy I did bc the ingredients were fresh and kept cold and either tossed with your dressing of choice or not. I loved choosing my favorite fresh ingredients like locally sourced Arugula and Romaine with vinegary peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and feta cheese and taking it back to my hotel to eat after chilling briefly in my room fridge until I could quickly shower or relax for a minute before eating. One day I was really tired and had my hands full with a backpack and bags in my hand and a manager appeared out of nowhere and took my salad to the register for me. He was so friendly and I was so appreciative! The clerk quickly added salt and pepper and napkins and utensils without me even having to ask bc they are available as do it yourself but she had some close to her register and again I was most appreciative as it was hot outside and I was drained and loaded down, hungry and tired. I wish I had noticed it there were soups and sandwiches available but I did not. There are a few places to sit to dine but not many. Some days there was a line but it moved lightning fast! Loved this place and thought the price was fair for the freshness quality. I will be back next time I am in NYC.

Organic and fresh

Stayed in a hotel nearby and had breakfast there most of the days. Perfect for starting the day with a healthy breakfast oq having a salad for lunch. Good selection of grab and go coffee and sandwiches.

So Good...we came back for a second morning!

By Susanenw |

Good quality, healthy food. My family and I had breakfast here 2 morning in a row during a brief visit. The food was cooked to order. Lot's of healthy choices. The manager was on top of everything and was practically musical in his manner of sending the order to the cook staff. Good coffee. Everything was at an affordable price point.

Lobster Bisque

By shellzbell |

We had the Lobster Bisque and a quinoa salad. Both were wonderful. It was expensive but this is NY and you get what you pay for. It was fast and the restaurant was clean. No complaints.

Wonderful Salads friendly staff - Give it a try.

My family fell in love with this place on our recent stay in Manhattan. The salads were fresh and made to order. The avocado chimchuiri dressing is to die for. The salad artist were very friendly patient and offered wonderful suggestions. I believe one of the artist were named Tory he was very passionate about his salads and it showed super impressed.. Even the manager was super friendly patient and was impressed how he helped a couple that didn't speak a word of English order a salad and deliver a smile which could have easily developed into a frustrated moment. The salad portions are large and can be shared and the prices are very reasonable for NYC. . Definitely give this place a try it is certainly a breath of fresh air in NYC.

Pretheater Lunch

By ckatmomi |

We decided to have a quick lunch at Fresh and Co. because it was right by the Cort Theater. They have soups, sandwich and salads. Food is organic and they advertise they have gluten free meals. Waitress was very helpful in explaining how the soups were priced. There were little cups which you could use to taste the soup. I had the split pea soup which came with a roll. Restaurant was clean but bathroom could have been cleaner.

Mmmm. Give it a miss

So.I went to buy a fresh juice. But they don't sell them. I settled for a bottled one and also got a double expresso which was burnt and undrinkable. Not going back for anything else when there's so many places to choose from close by. P.S. Service was and distracted by conversation with co worker.

Great for fresh carry out

By Nancy D |

Real oatmeal for breakfast. Carried out a bagel sandwich with avocado and hard boiled egg which was perfect for a trade show lunch. I think this chain is a perfect option. Fresh and good.

Excellent option

Excellent option for breaksfast. Very good taste, service and price. We ate baggles with cream cheese and baggles with egg and cheese.

Disappointed

By Leanne H |

Went here as a coeliac after doing some research. My husband ordered a regular breakfast bagel, I ordered gluten free pancakes. I honestly felt like an inconvenience and had to wait so long for my breakfast that my husband had finished and by the time mine had arrived after 20 mins I had lost my appetite! If you are selling gfree options then please have them ready to go! I was made to feel like I was being fussy when I have an autoimmune disease! The pancakes were dry and they didn't even ask me what I wanted with them just that I had to wait......in front of the rest of the queue 😫

Worst management EVER

By shan2u |

This was the most confusing restaurant experience I have EVER had!!! We waited in line (and not even that busy considering NYC) to be told when we reached the front that we should've ordered at the counter where the line started. We weren't alone with this so the line kept having to go to the back. The counter employees wouldn't make eye contact with you to even be able to give an order. IT WAS CHAOS!! They would only take one order at a time so if you had a couple of items they got lost. Once we finally felt like we had given our order we waited in line to pay. Where we did and then stood there with many others having to constantly reorder. The food wasn't even that great for breakfast especially after trying to get it for over half an hour. It seriously isn't rocket science to set up an order station....have employees that make the orders and then have a pay station. We went into many well oiled establishments and you would think Fresh & Co would get it together!!!

Great value for the money

If you're on a budget traveling to New York and you want to eat good and get filled up, come here. Great food selections from soups, sandwiches, salads and more.

excellent breakfast

each time while visiting NYC we come back to this great place that offers new york breakfast (bagels, eggs and tc.). one of my favorite is quinoa plate with avocado and scrambled eggs. must visit place in NYC

Healthy and quick

By Ronwyn I |

It was good although I was still hungry afterwards. I had the 2 eggs with potatoes toast and a mint tea. I really loved the tea. Not so pricey either.

Brilliant idea

By Suki15000 |

The owners deserve kudos. One can be served fresh and healthy food in minutes. Menu is specific with ingredients, calories and whether it is vegan. I went back twice and wish there were one near where I live. It yells healthy and delicious. These people developed a formula business that works. There is no table service, but there are tables.

My husband had Turkey Chili and I had Kale Lentil and Quinoa Soup

Food was great. Service was excellent and facilities were spotless. Brewed iced teas were delicious also. Will try again.

Quick healthy lunch in NYC

By YaninaLeCristal |

Great place to get a Quick bite or lunch with healthy options . Nice variety of salads , soups and sandwiches. Fast service

Delicious, Great price!

By AttitudeofGratitude |

Everything looked clean and the displayed food looked inviting. We had breakfast: 2 eggs with toast for $3.25 each. My eggs were huge, perfectly cooked, and delicious. My husband substituted an "everything" bagel for an upcharge - it was huge and yummy. We will go again when we go to the city to visit. Just 2 suggestions. When I placed my order of eggs and toast, the chef asked me, did I want potatoes? He asked me 2-3 times, but never explained if there was an extra charge or how the potatoes were cooked. I declined because people were behind me in line waiting to order.. Also, the customers were throwing their garbage in the recycling bins, and throwing cans, bottles, and plastic in the garbage bins. The signs should be better marked. Otherwise, what a waste of resources.

Good place for a lunch salad

By Ken L |

My friend and I wanted something light for lunch and thought we would give Fresh and Co. a try. We each had the California cobb salad and thought it very well done. I would recommend it for a nice lunch salad.

Healthy option for quick meal

By wiggy36 |

We had dinner here our first night because we were tired and just wanted some food. Excellent salads, and those bowls of quinoa or rice--yum!! Very reasonably priced., really good rice pudding too. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very pricey but very good

By SCDG415 |

The food is very fresh and tasty. I made my own salad which was EXCELLENT. I like their system. I also bought a juice which was good. For two items came $22 bucks which is very pricy. I this very good so I recommend it if money isn't an issue.

Really Fresh

By adrianahaddad |

It’s a fast food restaurant. The difference is that they have really great ingredients, fresh and organic and everything is”clean” , I mean, nothing from the can or fried, for the great location it’s not that expensive, I had a wonderful smoked salmon sandwich, the cappuccino is really good. I highly recommend this place!

Yum Yum Yum

The food and service was super. Great location, easily accessible. Price was well worth the fresh food.

great food

By ghengis68 |

Excellent food , great staff being very friendly, all tastes catered for, vegan, veg and meat lover, superb !

Nice selection, better than most fast food

By joancdesigns |

Good place to pick up a healthy breakfast and take-out lunch if you're headed to a trade show. Coffee lovers beware - they have some sort of hangup about letting you put your own milk or cream in your coffee. They do it for you. I don't like much milk in mine, and I had to ask 3 times to get the server to pour me a fresh cup and hand me the milk. The next day I got my coffee across the street at Starbucks and then went to Fresh for breakfast.

great selection but for take away mainly

By CityHopperLondon |

Good selection of various breakfast types, from healthy to not so healthy. The place is really meant for take-away or a quick bite as the atmosphere is not great to sit for longer than 10 min. Quality is good but not great

amazing fresh and healthy food

By Dina A |

ordered the quinoa stir fry, it was delicious as it was healthy, and it was located very close to the hotel...very convenient.

Terrible service

By Diathoney |

Maybe we hit a day with too many "new hires", but only one guy behind the counter seemed to know what he was doing - including "how to slice a bagel". I had to talk to 3 people to get a bagel and coffee to go. It was NOT busy at all. Customer service is definitely not their thing. I'm not sure this place will survive.

Brilliant Salads

By morwood37 |

We ate here on our first evening around 9.00 p.m. which felt like 2.00 a.m. to us. Our warm salad was freshly made for us as we waited, with some really interesting ingredients and the tea was made with HOT water - which makes a change in NYC. Really good for a tasty light, healthy snack and not a plate of fries in sight!!

Good food

By MQSS |

On corner from our hotel and great place to stop for take out. Noted there are quite a few in and around NYC

Good breakfast

By Deb W |

This place was hopping around 8:30 am. We were able to get a good breakfast to start the day. They were a bit unorganized but the meal was good.

First timer

By sunchasers2 |

Fast service! First meal in Manhattan after we got in NYC and still confused with whereabouts. Meal was tasty. Bangkok quinoa salad isn't bad at all!

I Could Eat Here Everyday

By Heidi D |

New York is filled with restaurants and for a recent Madison Square garden concert we wanted a quick dinner. We've seen this restaurant at lunch and it can be crowded. At dinner it's very quiet and fast. They feature salads, sandwiches and a quinoa and soup bar where hot items are made to order. That's what we opted for an it was delicious. We chose a vegetarian option with tofu, which they can add to any item. The result was excellent and when we want an informal meal we will return to this convenient place.

Great place for a quick breakfast

By Paul H |

Good food, good service and just next door to our hotel. There was a good selection of breakfast dishes, we both went for oatmeal with apple and banana which was tasty. With a cup of medium black coffee it was $13, so a reasonable price. Lots of people using the place, so very popular

Gluten and dairy free options

By K Pastore |

This was a great spot to pick up a healthy breakfast or lunch with many gluten and dairy free options for my daughter. We had coconut milk yogurt, a gluten-free and dairy free bagel, a gluten free muffin and other ask to order items available.
