We went in to grab a quick bite when returning from Battery Park. Since this is part of a chain and they have multiple outlets in the area we are not sure whether we got the correct restaurant address. We are sure you will not be disappointed with any of their outlets. We had a Mexicalli Wrap and a soup- both very tasty, healthy and filling. The service is prompt and the housekeeping standards are good. Be assured- Fresh &Co will offer you a fast tasty healthy choice and a good variety for break fast or lunch and that too at a good prize. Don't give it a miss because they are Vegan....

Great selection of fresh and healthy options including salad bowls, grain bowls, soup, sandwiches and wraps. After 48 in NYC we needed something fresh and not fried, this was spot on.

This place is great for someone who is gluten sensitive or has Celiac. They have gluten free pancakes and if your lucky, UDI's bagels (being a bit sarcastic). They can also whip up an omlet or make a bagel breakfast sandwich. I was really hoping to find a hidden gem that offered GF bagels in NY. I was really disappointed when I found out that the bagel I was going to have in NY was an UDI's. Of all the places that were available for breakfast, this was nice and affordable (for NY).

No time for nothing but still craving for some tailor made sandwich for your breakfast ? This is the place. Fresh and "adjustable" sandwiches. And don't miss the organic blueberry muffin. Delicious !!

The food was super-fresh and portioned correctly. Great place to get a healthy breakfast and start to the day. I got the “Beyond Breakfast Bowl” and it was great.

There was a good choice of food including salads and soups. The soups we had were excellent. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. Recommended for a quick healthy meal.

The food is freshly prepared acter ordering. Ourteous service. We ordered bagels and was prepared and wrapped to go although we ate there.

Fresh and Co. is absolutely the best place in NYC to grab lunch. You make your own salad with the freshest ingredients and meats. The dressing selection is prime and the price is reasonable. Chipotle Lime Vinaigrette is by far the best dressing that they have to offer.

Made to order fresh and healthy food, particularly fantastic salads. I have food allergies so great to be able to see exactly what I am eating. Visited other branches and all clean and good quality food. Only downer was some staff were a bit stroppy but may be just having a bad day.

My husband accompanied me on a NYC trip. While I attended a conference, he was on his own for breakfast. He needs Gluten Free. Fresh &Co became his go-to for breakfast or a snack. It was indeed fresh. Very reasonably priced. Good to know for our hopeful next visit to NYC!

This place is right across the street from the Salisbury Hotel and it's open 24 hours! Great selection of everything edible.

Good soups and a variety of standard "bowls" with rice or qinoa as the base. So they are gluten-free. You can also create your own combination. The staff was friendly and helpful in letting us know how their system worked. They seemed glad to explain about the foods and what was contained in each. We enjoyed two soups and shared one of their "bowls." We took home a gluten free brownie made with hemp. It was moist, very chocolately, and delicious!

Stopped in for breakfast for 2 kids 2 adults; something on the menu for everyone: bagels with cream cheese; muffin; hot breakfast; and fruit. Coffee was also good (better than the Starbucks down the block and smaller line). Not cheap but they do offer a variety of healthy options (including oatmeal) and the food is definitely fresh!

We were meeting friends in Central Park for a picnic on a perfect NYC summer day. We were staying at the Park Hyatt hotel, very close to this establishment, and also close to Central Park's southern border. We headed into Fresh & Co. to pick-up lunch for ourselves and our friends. Highly recommended for an easy, grab-and-go lunch! There was a wide range of appealing and healthy choices, both sandwiches and salads. These were made-to-order; you could also pick-up pre-made things from a couple of refrigerated coolers. The kale salad was delicious, with a nice citrus dressing and great crunch. Some curried chicken salad, picked-up from the cooler, paired well with bread that I was given by the cashier. Those who ordered sandwiches were impressed with the flavor. Nothing fancy--but an easy, affordable, and healthy lunch, easy to bring up to Central Park and enjoy on a green field while catching-up with friends.

Stopped here for a quick dinner before a show I got the small Kale Lentil soup that was delish! My husband got the Potato soup and a buffalo Chicken panini that we shared it had a very good taste. I would recommend this place for lunch and dinner.

Visited here every morning when I stayed in NYC. Same when I was here last year. I couldn't think of going anywhere else. Price is reasonable. I just LOVE the toasted bagel with egg, cheese and bacon Fast service and you can clearly see the place is clean :)

I was very impressed with the food in this restaurant, healthy and tasty. The vegetables are fresh. The restaurant is very clean.

The display and quality of their items is outstanding , very tasty, healthy and appealing I give 4 stars because their coffee is average to me , but they treated us very good and we will be back for sure ! It’s always busy but not so much if you are there at first time in the morning, and you get all items supppper fresh!

This is a simple fresh food deli - so tasty, and fresh as the name suggests - I always look for one when I'm in NY. Love the curry chicken coconut salad.

Tasty salads made to order, plus grab-n-go sandwiches and sweet treats. Friendly if a bit rushed personnel. Deservedly busy even in off hours.

We had a quick breakfast here before a day of sightseeing. The breakfast muffin was good, so was the Greek yogurt with granola. Although the prices are a bit to the high side.

We have eaten at several locations of Fresh. Soups, salads and sandwiches all prepared quickly and to your liking. You can design your own salad or go with one of the recommended combinations. The selections are vast and all fresh as the name says.

Found this place again after frequenting it on a trip 10 years ago. Great location to grab a bagel and coffee and sit in Central Park to eat and watch the world. Beautiful NY experience, even down to the grumpy person making the bagel at our lack of ordering experience. Awesome! Can't really remember this being part of a chain previously, but the food and toppings seem to be generally the same. Go with any bagel and the cream cheese with shallots.

Super fast bite to eat. It was simple and the service was kind and attentive. I enjoyed the set up of pre made sandwiches to choose from and the side bar fill with pre made snacks.

Great place for breakfast in NYC. Choose from a vast array of breakfast foods including fruit, cereal, yoghurt, bagels and lox, pancakes etc. They even have gluten free pancakes. Great service. The only negative part is that they have very little seating at this particular location, and it is very tight. The one on 57th between 5th & 6th has more generous seating but has no lox (salmon).

My husband had a lovely clam chowder and I had a great yoghurt parfait. Really nice food here, either to eat in or takeaway.

Convenient, reasonable, good quality ... need say anything more? Many of our group also went and enjoyed excellent food and very reasonable ( yes, reasonable in NY!! ) prices. I suggest a must-go place for brunch or lunch fare.

This was our first breakfast is NY, we chose it due to other reviews and so glad we tried this place. The food is soo fresh, tasteful and it was reasonably priced and local to our hotel. Definitely becoming again during our stay

Stopped by for breakfast. I didn't eat nothing looked good. My wife had the florentine. A wrap with egg whites, Swiss cheese and spinach. Glad I passed. I went to Sfilatino Italian Gourmet shop. Good decision. She liked wrap but going somewhere else today.

We eat very well there. The food is good and the blue is very appreciable. Well located, it was easy for us to find it.

Wandering on Christmas Day after service at St. Thomas. Clean, well laid out. Focus on healthy eating. Bowls, soups, salads & sandwiches. We had Smoked Turkey & Cheddar sandwich warmed up with coffee (very good) & a tea. Very few tables but stools @ counter very convenient. Very good experience.

What a great place to have a soup or sandwich or even both! Great taste, great locations and great service. The whole crew was so friendly even with the New Years crowd. They were kind and hospitable. Some customers were coming in just for the hot chocolate as one 9 year old told her mom "it's better than anywhere else". I had to try it and I can't argue with her. Clean, nice, friendly place to have a bit or grab and go. Great job Hugo the manager and his team Chanel, Angie, Frankie, Jacob and Mauricio. Corner of 57 and 7

A great breakfast with great food at a great price with great service. Staff could not be more helpful!

I enjoyed my stop here to get a fresh salad when I was walking around NYC. The service was about 5-10 minutes, so it is pretty quick, but also very fresh. They make the salad in front of you and can customize it to anything you would like. I'd recommend for either a stop in to eat (only a few tables, so beware) or to takeout. Enjoy!

Great customer service and just like their name Fresh! Really good breakfast! The right way to start your day! I highly recommend it!

Just another fastfoodplace in a triable fresh design - lots of trash - only plastic - small portions - to expensive for the price

Were taking train at lunch time and needed lunch to go. Store opens at 11 so no problem getting salad to go. Many choices and very fresh ingredients. Workers very helpful and service quick.

José will definitely make you feel at home. Great cook, friendly and well mannered. A definite asset to this restaurant, which is well located near Central Park. Best breakfast in Manhattan!

We stay in Manhattan for a week every November. Fresh and Co is our “go to” place to pick up a breakfast sandwich, bagel, oatmeal or other yummy breakfast items. The food is consistently very good and the service is fast and friendly. They also have freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit cups, good coffee, etc. Also go there when we need a lunch sandwich - they have nice selection of freshly made sandwiches. Highly recommend this establishment.

Great place for breakfast on the go. Good variety, quality food and friendly, helpful staff. We have stayed close to this location a few times and always go back. Overall great value for money.

I used to stop here at least once a week for the "made to order" salads that so many places in New York City do now. I like that they use local farms for their ingredients, and that when they say the ingredients are "Fresh," they truly are. Now I'm hooked on their Fall Quinoa Salad and Vegapalooza loaf. The Fall Quinoa Salad comes in a small 8-oz. container. But don't let it fool you. That tiny container is packed with satisfying, savory flavors that might just have you giving up that burger & fries -- seriously. It contains "quinoa, roasted delicata squash, apple, feta, cumin, nutmeg, cardamom, lemon juice, agave, cilantro, and candied walnuts. I liked it so much I had to go back two days later to have it again. This stuff is addictive. 8 ounces for $4.75. The "Vegapalooza" is a loaf to transform all loaves. No more meat loaf for me. I could not believe how tasty this was. Ingredients: "Cabbage, carrots, tomato, garlic, oregano, chili flakes, olive oil, salt, pepper, raw cashew, eggplant, baking soda, healthy seeds." Note: I used to hate cabbage with a passion, especially the smell!! Give this a try. You don't even realize it's cabbage in there. The spices give just enough heat to delight, and not enough to upset the tummy. N.B. Apparently this one is supposed to go into the microwave. I didn't know that and had it cold. Delicioso! 10 ounces for $7.95. Finally, for dessert, the Paleo Chocolate Coconut Almond Macaroons are a beautiful mix, not too sweet -- just right. "Unsweetened coconut, almond flour, coconut oil, agave, cocoa powder, vanilla, sea salt." Yummy! Six for $4.95. Could they replace a Twix bar? I think they could.

We stopped for lunch after seeing the Downton Abbey exhibition, as this location is just down the block from the exhibit. They offer gluten-free bread here (most likely Udi's) and they made me a gluten-free egg salad sandwich, which I enjoyed. Keep your receipt, because it will have a code to access the restroom.
Great Offerings, Fast and Fresh
Fresh & Co is a great discovery. Don't let the description 'Vegan' put you off. I'm sure you can get anything to satisfy your need for fresh, good quality ingredients. I took breakfast here three days in a row. It's well-priced, staff are fabulous, it's yet another great NY experience. A few seats, so you can dine-in, but the real attraction is the variety and quality.
