The food here is SO good and really worth the wait. The eggs, coffee and OJ were all delicious. The waiter was a little icy at first, but he warmed up after a bit! It is a little pricy - on a separate day I came and got 2 OJs and 1 coffee, which was 21 dollars! So maybe skip it for drinks to go, but it's really great brunch and an absolute must in the LES.

I really enjoyed everything from this place. The food was amazing. They don’t skimp on the portions. The avocado toast has a think bread with probably 1 whole small avocado. The service was good, the wait was 40 minutes for brunch. They have a cool app that lets you know how the wait list is moving. The one thing that didn’t like is that they try to pack as many tables in a small space. You can’t have a private conversation because the othe table is right on top of you.

This place has the best breakfast and coffee. Portions aren’t too big (European standards) but really tasty and there are a lot more healthy choices on the menu than in other places.

Chose this place based on proximity near my hotel and customer reviews. My breakfast sandwich had egg, salmon, ayula and other stuff. On a bagel, a little too much bread, but very tasty. Service was good, coffee was excellent. Recommend this place although it has a very limited menu. Basically a coffee shop with some good stuff to eat.

This is the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time. Great bowl of yummy goodness. The service is so warm and friendly nothings too much trouble. Went back again and again.

Thursday mid-morning and they were packed. We sat at the bar which was fascinating as we had a view of everything in this incredibly well run cozy cafe. Everyone worked efficiently in Harmony. But - WOW- incredibly good house coffee, eggs that were not only cooked to perfection but really pretty. I had the avocado toast with a poached egg and it was all the best I have ever had and yet incredibly simple. We stumbled in on a freezing morning after finding out that Russ & Daughters was closed for table service - we were not disappointed. I will be back!

The area around Good Thanks looks more like a war zone than a hip street but the two Australian owners have done a great job in creating a relaxed space with really good coffee and food. Service is good and everything is cooked fresh. The berries are amazing

Unfortunately I only stopped for a great coffee and I can't get to five, but I saw really fabulous brunch dishes pass by, the service girls and the bar really nice, smiling, a place that invites and I would like to go back to get to know him better.

Things were very chill on a Sunday morning. I had the avocado toast, which was delicious and my husband had this beautiful egg sandwich where the egg looked like a rose. Someone said it looks like a war zone outside, but to me it was like the NYC I knew back in the 90s, which was sort of comforting in an odd way.

My wife and I had breakfast at this really beautiful equipped location. The service was great, the food even better. We hat some toasts, eggs and some hot drinks. It was very tasty and we enjoyed our breakfast stay very much.

The breakfast came fast and taste great. Can't recommend the Good Morning Bowl highly enough. I also tried the Acai bowls and loved them. Fantastic espressos, great smoothies - especially the Stay Good. Best part is the service the staff was very friendly and very warm they took great pride in the fresh ingredients, great food preparation and wonderful service. It seems like I'm not alone, I overheard another customer saying that the Good Morning Bowl was the best food they had in there life.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cafe for a quick dinner and beers. The staff were attentive and happily answered our questions. The local beers (which were recommended by staff) were very good. The food was well priced and tasty. A gem of a cafe.

The place is small but nice. The staff is ok and the food is good. It’s a nice option to have your breakfast or a fast lunch. The guys working here are really cute anyway 🤓

We actually were planning to have breakfast a few doors down the street, but as that was completely full we ended up in the Good Thanks Cafe. The food was amazing, especially the Blue Bowl. The coffee was brilliant. As the barista is an Aussie, that is no surprise. We were sat next to the kitchen and it was really nice to see the pleasure and dedication of the kitchen crew. Best place we ate during our 5 day trip in New York

Tucked away in a quiet street Fantastic atmosphere Great music The flat white was great and the banana loaf is equally delicious. All in all a pleasant experience

It’s hard to find a proper Aussie cafe on the east coast - this is real deal. Was so happy when I stumbled across this on insta and was even happier when I came in and got the coffee for myself. Best breakfast spot!

Place for breakfast. I highly recommend berries with yogurt here. Great coffee! Cafe is small. But it is worth waiting.

The most basic question when dining at a new establishment, that’s not your choice, is “Will I like the food?” The simple answer for Good Thanks NYC is yes. The staff was attentive and courteous. The menu is great but and since I’m allergic to eggs I was skeptical. I told the waiter of my allergy and said bring me something good. The whitefish toast meal that came out of the kitchen was most delightful. My dining companions experienced just as lovely meals including a breakfast bowl and Two Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Oh, I liked the coffee. Therefore, the next time I head to NYC, I shall return.

The food is delicious, the guys are really cool, and the place is quiet. It was a very good time with my wife. Thanks

This review is the first thing I'm doing today. I just got up and went outside for a cup of coffee. just a couple of doors down from the posh hotel I'm staying at is good thanks Café. A gentleman walks out the door and sits down at the little table outside the restaurant. I open the door, (and then hold it open for an employee who is carrying a tray of pastries), and walk in, and on my way to the coffee counter I pass a young woman who literally glowers at me. No one seems to be attending the coffee station so I turn around, and the woman berates me for walking into the establishment when it's clearly closed. I told her the door was open. She continues to argue about the dining room lights being off. I apologize for not noticing and go find coffee elsewhere. not a nice person/ establishment. I grew up in New York so I know how stressful the city can be, but there's this thing called hospitality. This place doesn't have it. At least until they're ready.

I’m a granola addict! And this one was really f*****g good. The place is nice and the service is ok, all what we order was delicious 😋 Definitely a good address !

Good place and good food :) We were really happy with our breakfast. The place isn’t so big, but it wasn’t a problem to have a seat either 💙
