Chips had a funny taste, were hard and some burnt. They were also thin. Fish was ok. Being an Englishman in New York it was nothing like proper fish and chips. 1 member of staff was nice but another had an attitude. Sorry Gordon really below par and surprised this has your name against it. The chicken place along the road in Times Square is superior.

Fantastic food quality at a reasonable price for New York. The seating area is small so there was a bit of a wait to get a table.

We visited the Restaurant for my Wife's birthday, as it was Gordon Ramsay's we were expecting something special. The fish was three fish fingers they were all batter and very little fish, the chips were crunchy and tasted overcooked. We were unable to eat much, it was very greasy and made us both feel a little queasy.

Great tasty and fast food, really fresh znd tasty. Unfortunately the resteraunt let down the food, table was dirty, we had to wipe clean ourselves, floor not much better, such a shame

Came in for lunch. We had 3 Gordon Combos. Shrimps were huge, chicken tasty, fish ok, chips bland. Took batter off most of it due to grease and taste. Most disappointed. Staff were curt. Food wasn't very good at all. Still feel sick now if I think about it. Worst place ate whilst in NY. Pricey too for what we had. Tables filthy dirty. Run down inside.

Our second visit. We loved the fish but the chips were not very good, they should have been tossed 20 minutes ago. Just watched Kitchen Nightmares S1 E1 and Gordon talks about how good his chips are. Sorry they were not.

We are big fish & chip fans from the UK. Great fish & chips (not traditional think chips but still delicious). Fish was very fresh and tender. Areas for improvement; - Offer a vegatarian main option (battered halloumi maybe) - Chips could be hotter, they were warm not fresh & hot - Sauces were cold e.g. traditional UK curry sauce or mushy peas would be nice for a true British fish & chips Still a great quick eat place but at resturant prices

I stopped here because I was starving and didn't wanna overspend. The food was good and the service was amazing. I expected it to be a large place but it's small quaint. I especially want to recognize Jalis and Gabrielle. They were very knowledge of the menu, very friendly and made me want to come back. It's workers like these two that make businesses great. Tip: get the chips dirty (loaded with various toppings) for a few extra dollars. It's worth it. I'm very impressed with the food here

I wanted to try this and hoped for a really good experience. We walked in, to be greeted by a cloud of grease. The smell was awful, tables were dirty and overall it was very off putting. We ordered Dirty Fries 3. They were vile. They tasted of stale, frozen chips. The staff working had zero customer skills, and the member of staff at the till acted like we were an inconvenience by being there. Donât waste your money!

Food was delicious and served piping hot. The restaurant cleanliness (as mentioned by others) could be better. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location was convenient to Times Square and the theatre district.

You would be hard pressed to have a Brit of this caliber make a bad Fish & Chips place. This hits every standard note. The Codfish is light, well battered and you MUST get the Tarter Sauce. It hits every pickled, creamy, savory note and is not to be missed. We also had another order with the Curry Mango sauce (think Indian from India Curry versus Caribbean) for an international flare. The Dumpster Fries with Chorizo and Jalapeno is phenomenal. FULL of FLAVOR with bits of spiced (not hot) chorizo and fried jalapeno slices, along with crumbled Feta and raw sliced onions, which you need to cut the richness. The Biscoff Shake will send you into La-La Land after your meal. It is a thick, creamy, nutty-ish cup of creamed delight. If you want a lighter lunch or dinner when you're headed to the Theater or just shopping, Gordon Ramsey's Fish House IS your destination!

Excellent service , excellent food , really enjoyable and for New York excellent value , we would recommend here 100% and next time we are in New York we will go back again , if you get chance definitely worth a visit 5 star excellent

I enjoyed my visit to this Times Square chippy. The food is pretty good, and the Biscoff shake should not be missed! I wish the fish portions were a little larger, but otherwise, no complaints.

Does gordon actually go to this restaurant? He is very much so proud of all his restaurants, but this one⊠the place was a mess. Left over food all over the tables, the staff behind the counter just looked dirty. No vinegar? And if Gordon knows every English person has to have vinegar with their fish. đ very surprised that Gordon put his name to this place. Food was okay.. but the lemonade drink was amazing, probably the best part of it all.

Big disappointment, I expected so much more from Gordon Ramsey ! Zero atmosphere . I couldn't wait to leave . Food just O K

Food was good, but was surprised the restaurant seemed dirty and air conditioning was broken using a portable a/c to try and cool the restaurant. The staff was friendly, but just didn't think it was up to par for sanitary standards for a Gordon Ramsey restaurant.

The fish was unbelievably greasy. The fries were so greasy that they were soggy. The place wouldnât survive in the UK. For $20 fish and chips, I expected better. Good news is the staff was very kind.

The fish was tasteless. The chips the worst Iâve had in this whole city Iâm sure they were reheated. Sort of hard but not crispy. The chicken had a weird smell. Appalling decor/atmosphere. If you put your name to something youâd better at least check in on it. I can imagine GR visiting it as one of his Hellâs Kitchen programmes and shouting at everyone who couldnât care less. I can imagine him going round the corner to a shop to buy tartare sauce and then shouting at them hot not even being that good. Left after eating about a quarter. Only had that much because Iâd paid and didnât want to believe it was SO bad. Just do not bother.

Crispy perfection! Gordon Ramsayâs NY Fish & Chips nails flavor, crunch, and freshnessâfast, friendly, and totally satisfying!

We went in late Friday night and the staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Kayla...she made us the prettiest Bischoff cookie shake. And when I say friendliest staff we encountered in NYC, we ate at places from fairly high-end restaurants to street vendors and saw 3 shows and the staff here was far and away the nicest. The food was very good but not piping hot, which was why I deducted 1 star. Also, seemed a little pricey for the portions but it's NYC so....

Fish & chips is good but I didnât appreciate the general cleanliness of the restaurant and the smell of oil that persists there. The same level of requirement that can be seen in TV shows are obviously not applied here, too bad.

A little bit grubby inside. Tables covered in left overs and grot from previous customers. Service was quite slow, not sure why staff kept boxing food, then putting back on servery then swapping around. Cod was very good, chips a bit so so. I have been, but prefer my local chippy. Lots of plastic sachets of vinegar, why not have a bottle. Much better for the ebnvironment.

The fish is really amazing! I was skeptical at first, because it is located in Times Square and it is fast food, but it did not disappoint. I could have done without the shrimp and the chicken, both only okay. Stick with the fish & chips, Gordon, because they are ace.

This was a dissapointment, a restaurant trying to be too many things. Not enough space to sit for it to be a proper restaurant, but way too slow for somewhere emulating a chippy or fast food. Husband said chicken wedges were good and batter on shrimp was good. Chips were absolutely doused in salt and we watched several people throw most away as did we after trying to remove at least some of the salt.

I am a huge Gordon Ramsay fan so I was super excited to eat here. The food was a 4â. They definitely cook everything fresh which is great but I remember the fish specifically having an odd flavor to it. Although everything else was delicious!

Considering this restaurant is under Gordon Ramsayâs name I was expecting more. Very average food. The staff wasnât friendly or welcoming and rushed things. Good pieces of fish but unseasoned and bland. âGordonâs tartarâ and the âSouthwest Ranchâ sauces did not taste fresh and instead tasted a bit moldy like blue cheese sauce. The store played British music and the bathrooms were nice. Other than that I was highly disappointed.

The place was almost empty when we went in which probably lead to the issue. We were called to collect the food before Iâd finished paying. The chips arenât really chip as they are skin on fries. The main issue however was the fish. The fact it was delivered so quickly meant they had been stand for probably quite a while and tasted like it. One of the three was extremely chewy and contained what appeared to be a spine which I had to spit out. We have eaten at the place in Las Vegas but this was really really disappointing.

As a hole in the wall, just off Times Square youâll find this gemstone of fish and chips including a tartar sauce to die for. Sweet, helpful servers that really set the standard for our 9h lay-over in NY. We had two goals: to eat atGordon Ramsayâs Fish and Chip restaurant and to see Rockefeller Center. We were not disappointed in either.

Quick, tasty, and brings this iconic dish to America. Having eaten fish and chips in Scotland and England we were hopeful that Ramsey could do a good job. (We ate at his flagship restaurant in Chelsea and know the quality of his food.) Our food was ready in 8 minutes. We got the fish and shrimp combo. Shrimp was perfectly coolly, and the cod was moist and tasty. Restaurant was clean and well designed. Bathrooms were immaculate too. Will visit again!

Visiting from the uk and on our way back to hotel found this place. It even smelled like a chippy which is good and to be fair the food was good. The staff were nice but looked weary and the actual restaurant was not very Gordon Ramsey ! I expected it to be a bit plusher than it was - Tim Hortens is better ! But all in all food was good.

Iconic fish and chips . It was delicious , I had dirty chips - means they came with parsley and Parmesan cheese , food was really good but restaurant was dirty , none one clean Up tables and they were out of cutlery so we ate with our fingers , bathroom was out of toilet paper .

We flew into New York early evening, and after booking into the hotel we went to find the restaurant, we already knew it was nearby after doing a little research beforehand. we went in and looked through the menu and ordered the fish and chips. when it came over was really tasty, 2 sauces 3 pieces of fish and then the chips plus a refillable drink. best fish and chips I've eaten outside the UK

Our last night in NYC and headed to a Broadway show. This restaurant was nearby the theatre and fish & chips are one of our go-to meals. It was a rainy evening and the restaurant was not too busy...we ordered right away and our food was ready in a reasonable time. The portion was just enough and was piping hot (not greasy as others have said)...I liked my choice of dips (southwest ranch & honey mustard) whereas my husband thought the tartar sauce was a little runny. The staff did their jobs with little interaction with the customers (so I understand other reviewers dissatisfaction). At the time we were there it was clean but if it had been busier staff would not have had time to clean tables.

At the time when me and my wife visited the place was busy but we got a table it was clean and the lady that served us was helpful we did not have to wait that long for the food and it was hot and the fish was crispy the sauces were good overall the place is decent and the price is reasonable

We are big fans of Chef Ramsay and had seen this venue featured on one of his recent tv shows. Seeing as we would be in Times Square, we had to give this a go. This is not a restaurant as such and more like a takeaway with some seats. Basic furniture and decoration, but appropriate for the nature of the business. The fish was easily one of the best I'd ever had. Really tasty, great golden batter and piping hot. I had the shrimp with mine also which were large, very tasty and hot. Definitely worth a try. We tried the Lobster as a novelty but it was not worth the money. 90% of the physical item is just battered, inedible shell. We had a small bite of the flesh each and that was it done. Not worth $10. The chips were dreadful. A good portion size, but they were just warm, not hot when they were served to us. They were also incredibly salty and I couldn't finish mine. Even the free self serve refills of drinks were no match to combat the salt. They do provide salt if you wish to add your own, so I would like to assume ours were just an accident and not what is usually served. The self serve drink and salt area was quite dirty and shabby, with damage to the cupboards. The Ice machine above the drinks station was also dusty, which is poor considering the standards Chef Ramsay expects on TV. Overall the customer area seemed a bit grubby and in need of a paint in places. But at least the kitchen area seemed well looked after. Some of the staff seemed uninterested but a couple seemed to quite dedicated to their jobs. So maybe more of a personality issue as opposed to a lack of training. Prices seemed good for the portion size and 'prestigious' location of the venue. Wouldn't take much for this place to be excellent but its not there at the moment and its a real shame. Would maybe try again in the future and see if it has improved.

We came from England for 4 nights , We ordered fish and chips to our hotel. The fish was very nice , but we got fries with it , I was thinking it would be proper chip shop chips, that was disappointing, but the fish made up for it , I think it was about 18 dollars each ,which was goid considering the area and that it was delivered, would definitely go again

Iâm a bit spoilt as I live in a fishing city where fish & chips are a big deal and generally excellent. I assume the Gordon Ramsay name is all about making money because the actual product isnât great. Fish was okay but not great. Chips were terrible. âGordonâsâ tartare sauce was fairly tasteless. The only positives were the staff who were really friendly and efficient.

I've been to several of Gordon Ramsey's restaurants over the years, and like the others, this is very mediocre and overpriced for what it is. The fish & chips combo with a drink $26 consists of 3 fairly bland fish fingers and some fries, which were the highlight. Basically, I can get better fish and chips at most of the Irish pubs in my neighborhood. It's fine if you're in the area and in the mood, but it's definitely not worth going out of your way for.

I had fish and chips and chicken and chips with my brother plus 2 diet cokes in this restaurant yesterday. I found the food cold the amount of chips given was very small and were just frozen chips. They were not traditional chips sold in a real fish and chip shop. The Diet Coke was like water. The restaurant in NYC was dirty too and unacceptable. I know they are not going to reply but sadly this is the facts and I very expensive experience of $52 and in honesty it was not worth anything and it was inedible.

Quick and easy dinner near Times Square. Food was delicious and the milkshakes were so good! We ordered different baskets and tried all of the saucesâ literally everything was delicious. We got two mini milkshakes to share between four of us. They had a lucky charms shake and a Biscoff. The Lucky Charms one tasted like cereal milk ice cream and was really good, but the Biscoff shake was perfection.

On a Good Friday, we needed to find a seafood place. A quick Google Maps search led me to Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips. We ordered Fish Combo with tartar sauce. I got parmesan fries and my companion got regular fries. It was actually pretty good. The prices were decent as well for the area it's in. But with those decent prices come the portions. They were smaller than normal, but it's enough to fill your grumbling stomach.

Very disappointed with this restaurant as I expected way more! Really small, awful uncomfortable seating and tables, dated deco, service was awful, fish was dry however, the chips were quite nice! Wonât be re visiting! Wish I had read the reviews before we went đ«€

Both of our boxes were devoured with vigour! The food was made fresh in front of us, it was delicious, the staff were lovely, the shop itself was wonderfully decorated and cosy Iâve seen reviews that this was overpriced, but I have been around the country on this trip, and I have received a lot less for a lot more. I was actually shocked at how inexpensive this was considering this is a Celebrity Chef establishment and youâre paying for that quality. It absolutely did not disappoint and will be dining there again asap!

I was so looking forward to eating at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in NYC, but I was extremely disappointed in the whole experience. For starters, there was no air in the restaurant, so my mother and I were roasting. We got the chicken and fries meal, and the chicken had black stuff in it like it had not been trimmed. The service was also subpar; everyone working there looked sad and miserable. The food itself was so hot mixed with the heat of the restaurant so much so that we ended up throwing most of the food away and walking out. Waste of moneyâvery disappointing because I love Gordon Ramsay and his shows so much!

We went for lunch. We entered and it smelled like fritango and the place was full of smoke. We left. The premises need ventilation.

Not worth it!! Small portions for the price. Super greasy. More batter than fish. Left feeling sick! Iâm sure there are better fish and chips to be had. Gordon should be ashamed of himself.

Food was really good! The shrimp were huge and cooked perfectly as were the scallops. However, the restaurant itself was a let down. Looked more like a small fast food restaurant. Tables needed cleaning and I feel was overpriced for what you got. Good but definitely not what you expect from anything to do with Gordon Ramsey!

The combination fish and shrimp is highly recommended. The truffle fries with cheese are also worth trying. It just takes a while for your food to be ready, but then it will be fresh.

Pros: The food was delicious. The bathroom was clean. Cons: Everything else! Gordon your place is falling apart! We were excited when we walked by it and decided to try it. We went in and it looked as if it was closed because it had no music, nobody working and rags all over the floor and overall, no ambiance, so we thought it was closed, as we turned around to leave someone came from the kitchen and we decided to stay because the food did smell good. The staff were super rude and standoffish, almost as if we were bothering them by placing an order. They don't wear uniforms, so it is hard to tell who works there, but the 3 employees we saw were gossiping amongst them and annoyed when we asked a question. The drink machine was out of order, there were rags on the floor covering a spill and I had to ask 4 times to get a milkshake we had ordered, that by the way was missing half of what it had in its description. The fish, chips and sauces were delicious, so this was the only plus.

Visited this establishment with my friend for dinner on 7/2/23. We both had the Gordon's combo sampler which consisted of fish, shrimp & chicken with crispy chips two sauces of Cocktail & Tarter which were delicious! This is an outstanding establishment and will definitely be back!

Clean and food was great. Fish and chips. Also have shrimp and chicken . We had fish and chips combo and the fish was fresh and prepared just right. It is an upscale fast food place. Well done.

The fish and chips take away in Eastbourne was a it nice experience. After getting a plaice and chips was not able to add a proper vinegar to it. The only thing available was a bottle of ' vinegar' that was more like water. Fish and chips very oily. Such a bad and stingy service doesn't worth returning. Not recommended.

Went here for lunch with a couple of friends. It really is not worthy of the Gordon Ramsay name. The seating area made McDonaldâs seem like and upscale restaurant. Not truly bad fish and chips, but nothing special. More like breading with some fish attached. The bored servers behind the counter and the awful music playing will be sure to delight masochists.

Was really looking forward to having fish n chips in New York for Lunch as being British I enjoy fish n Chips found the place dirty the fish n chips greasy n the staff rude ⊠the tables hadnât been cleared if heâd have been there heâd have gine nuts âŠ

We wanted to try this restaurant as it had not long opened. We were on holiday so thought why not. The atmosphere was dead. And all the staff looked like they did not want to be there. When placing our order the man seemed to not be paying attention to our order. Part way through placing our order he answered the phone and dealt with that. How rude??then got our order wrong. Would I recommend or return. Not a chance Iâm afraid. Better food and certainly better service elsewhere. Gordon have a word.

Went here twice. First time we sat in, staff was great, food was hot and very good. Second time we got it delivered and it was above average. The dirty fries weren't dirty if you get what I mean. I would say eat in for the best food experience.

Friendly staff, but food not up to the name of the place. Badly fried fish and average chips, you can find much better, local not living up to the name it bears.

Was pretty much the first customers upon opening this day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was fine but nothing special. Paid $9.99 extra for lobster tail and got basically a Πsmall tail (no bigger meat than a teaspoon). Shrimp was nice and fish moist and flaky but batter was boring and unseasoned. The dirty fries were ok but could have had a bit more topping. Overall I expected something with Gordon Ramsay's name on it to be a bit more impressive. Been now but probably would try other places in future.

A few key things make this a good choice...location, its super central, so if you're doing touristy things, or seeing a show, it's easy to get to. Price....for NYC, prices are very reasonable. Service...great service from the time you order, to pickup. Food itself! That's definitely the main one, it flavorful and delicious. My daughter and I enjoyed our visit, and our meals.

I would not recommend this restaurant on the basis of the service we received alone, and this was without even entering the establishment. We traveled to the restaurant due to it being a Gordon Ramsey restaurant, believing it would be a good bucket list item for a New York holiday, but unfortunately we were met with utterly rude and dismissive staff at the restaurant. We arrived about 10 minutes after they were supposed to open, however when we got there it was still closed, we waited a few minutes and nothing came of it. We rang them and just asked what time they were opening, only to be told they had some work being done in the restaurant and they would be opening in about 5 minutes. Another 5 minutes passed, and a staff member eventually approached the door only to rudely shout at us that they would only be opening at 12.00, this being an hour after their opening hours, as well as a completely different time that they had just told me on the phone a few moments prior. This seems to be on par with recent reviews.

We actually thought it was closed as the restaurant looked dead. We walked in and first impressions were not good. It was filthy dirty. Tables with left over food and paper towels all over the floor. Drinks machine out of order. There was were no staff to be seen or heard. We waited five minutes and called but nobody came. After waiting a few minutes a rude women came out from the kitchen telling us off for calling to see if anybody was serving. She was very rude and demanded we ordered or leave. We felt like an inconvenience and to be shouted at rudely was just not acceptable. I canât believe G Ramsey has his name against this place. To make it worse we walked over town to especially visit as it was on my list of places to visit. My advice would be not to bother wasting your time!

Avoid at all costs. The restaurant, and I use that term loosely is the worst Iâve been in for sometime. Food was over priced and greasy, with the side sauces being absolutely vile. Cleanliness was also something to be desired.

During our week stay in New York, my Dad and I came here for a late night bite to eat. I am big fan of Ramsey and have seen all of Hell's Kitchen and many episodes of Kitchen Nightmares. I actually saw this place in a recent episode of Kitchen Nightmares the week before we went to New York! Firstly anyone going there expecting a big restaurant is rather foolish. It doesn't say it's a restaurant, it's a fish and chips, just like your local in your town or city. It has basic chairs and tables that are comfy and the place is clean. The colour of red and blue around the place is a nice touch to both the American colour and the United Kingdom. The food itself was delicious. We shared the normal fish and chips and the fact they let you put your own salt on is a nice touch so it doesn't get covered in it. You can add what you like. There was not a scrap left and it was very reasonably priced. The only downside was Gordon himself didn't walk in! I think people need to tone down what they expect from this place just because it has his name on the front. It's a quality fish and chips.

We visited the Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips Times Square location in the afternoon on Christmas Eve. Upon entering we noticed pieces of napkins, straw paper, particles of food, etc., on the floor. There was also a small wet spot on the floor. Everything seemed greasy, and/or sticky. The bathroom also felt unclean and was out of toilet paper. It didnât appear to be terribly busy. I think there were maybe two orders in front of us. There were only two people running things, the cashier and the cook. The cashier, on two separate occasions, once in front of me, and then again in front of a minor in our party, cursed about something that was going on. (She did not curse at us.) We tried to order the Hellfire Chicken Wings and Gordonâs Combo, but they were out of all chicken. We waited about 20 minutes for our food to come out. The quality of the food was average. It was hot and fresh, but not memorable. I think I was just expecting more across the board. This was our first visit to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and we were looking so forward to the experience. We just got a different experience.

Gordon's Tartar Sauce was superb, the crust was flavorful and the chips were on point. Sadly the girl who took our order was the worst, trying to communicate with my Latino accent and this gal wouldn't even try to understand, she delegated the chore to another Spanish speaker worker which delivered a nice customer service... felt discriminated by the worker from the discriminated group in US... Ironic

Actually, we were going to Gordon Ramsay's Hells kitchen restaurant in NY. Unfortunately, this is closed according to the homepage. We had the fish and chips combo and were very excited. Had to wait a bit, but everything was freshly prepared and hot. The sauce was very delicious. One combo per person will fill you well. The restaurant is kept very simple and clean, staff very friendly, also take photos on request, toilets very clean. The only thing that bothered was the scaffolding at the house and in front of the entrance, but that won't last forever. When I get back to NY, I'll go back to dinner.

Went twice enjoyed the food so much, once for lunch & also went first night that we arrived in NY. Delicious fresh crispy fish & chips. The dips were gorgeous. Staff were lovely. Dining area could have been cleaner 1st visit but was late in the evening, was spotless next visit at lunchtime. The biscoff milk shake was so good!!

Restaurant hot and dirty Staff donât care Food was terrible Greasy and disgusting Threw it in the trash Gordon Ramsey should be ashamed to have his name on this place

The most delicious chips ever! The fish was also delicious. Reasonable value too considering the location. One of our favourite holiday meals. Huge portions, we had 3 between 4 of us and still left some. The fish come in 3 small bits instead of one large piece which makes it better for sharing. The drinks are refillable so although they seemed pricey, they are actually not bad. Very clean inside and super friendly staff.

Food was great! Enjoyed it! Quick service on the way to Pink concert! Quick help noteâŠif you try to find it on Google maps itâs wrong. It actually on 44th street across from the Gap.

we were looking for fish and chips and online review said that this place was good so decided to check it out. overall, it was decent but not great and there are better places out there itâs a more casual place where you place the order and pick it up and the other end of the counter. there are only a couple of options including fish and shrimp as well as fries with toppings. we got the fish and chips as well as fries with toppings â both came with sauces so we choose different sauces. the fish was decent but tasted a little frozen and the taste was minimal but was better with the sauces. the fries were topped cheese and truffles and were decent but a bit salty. again, overall decent food but tasted more like fast food and it was very overpriced - almost $20 for the chips and based on that price that flavor should be better

Ordered Cordonâs combo ( fish & shrimp /chicken) Absolutely delicious Fish & Chips combo fresh ingredients with some tasty dipping sauces. Location in around the corner of Broadway in an Ally with Gap store. Nice and clean with open kitchen

First impression, I couldn't have imagined Gordon Ramsey ever visiting this establishment never mind putting his name to it. It's just like an English sit down no frills fish and chip shop with dirty tables but premium prices. Your so close to the next table you might as well be sitting on their knee. We ordered two portions of fish & chips to eat in on our last night visiting New York for the first time. These were cooked to order and tasted delicious but we were let down by the customer service of one particular member of staff. Upon enquiring about the sauces which we were supplied with as part of the meals the said member of staff argued with me and proceeded to laugh, at this point I walked away in disgust. During our time in the restaurant we were not the only customers who she had an attitude with!!!

Wow! We planned to visit this restaurant while visiting New York. It was a wonderful experience. The staff very friendly and helpful. The fish and chips were delicious and the sauces were an excellent accompaniment to the meal. The amount of food was good value for money. There was a happy buzz in the packed restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and take good memories home with us.

I have been in the USA for a week and a half, and this was by far the tastiest food I have had since I've been here. The fish was fresh, tasty... the dips were delicious. Wish it had been proper chips, but still, they went down in a flash. All this and it was far cheaper than other places, some of the other food costing over $50 for 2 people..... and most going to waste. This meal? The first one we completely finished.... and we are going back

As I am from the UK and living in New York thought I would pop in and try to see if it compares to the fish and chips at home with some friends. Disappointed that it did not meet the usual standard in most fish and chip shops in the UK. Three small portions of cod, the chips not crispy and fresh, did not try the sauces, as I just use malt vinegar. To be honest it is difficult to get good fish and chips in New York, have only found one good place. Probably not go back!!!

Gordon Ramsey needs to give some attention to the spot. The food was less than appetizing and the cost of $49 was extremely high. For a fishwish and Gordon combo platter. The taste was less than, the only thing that made the fishwish taco tasty was the tartar sauce. The fries were nothing special, Gordon give this place some TLC if your going to put your name on it. Consumers are expecting more!!!

These are the best fish and chips in the USA. We also love the Orlando location which I think is slightly better because the workers seem happy to be there and itâs spotless. The NYC location had a couple of workers that looked like they would rather be somewhere else. The floor wasnât swept , papers and napkins scattered and the Ketchup bin was empty and wasnât refilled until 20 minutes after we told the clerk it was empty . Other than that the cook was great and the fish and shrimp were exceptionally cooked .

We wanted to try this place since it is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had the Gordon combo. The food was flavorful and filling. The restaurant was clean and made us feel like we were back in the UK.
Dirty
What a dirty place to eat @Gordonramsey! The way you are shouting to all the people and then your one restaurant is so messy, shame on you!
