We ate here twice while in Newyork, lovely bar , food was great, staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend.

Great bar with amazing service from waiters. Exquisite cocktails and delicious food. All at a great price, at the time they were offers on as well such as beer of the month, offered at a discounted price. The bar itself is a must see with beer bottle chandeliers and gorgeous artwork scattered around the bar. Will always make a stop here when I visit New York.

Stopped in last week for a drink at the Grey Bar & Restaurant for a drink with a colleague. Atmosphere was open and inviting. You could actually have a conversation in the bar area without having to say WHAT? Liked it and will be going back.

Great place for drinks-or watch the game-if that's your thing. Great for a date too. Happy hour is extremely busy. Staff friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!

Had lunch here and we were all very pleased. I had a flat iron steak sandwich on ciabatta bread but others had buffalo chicken sliders and burgers. Everything was terrific. This is not just a bar that has food as an offshoot. Quite the reverse- the food was much better than expected. Probably a very crowded spot at night.

Visited this Bar/Restaurant whilst in New York for 5 nights. Just around the corner from our hotel. Ate here 3 nights. Excellent service, seated immediately. Water brought over for all of us straight away. Staff really friendly. As soon as you finished your drink you dont have to try get there attention to get another drink they are there asking you would you like another. Food is excellent tried a few of there dishes and all were so tasty. During our stay in New York this was the one place that didnt ask for a tip or add to bill which was nice. We gave a tip all times as was excellent. Definitley a place to go.

Stopped in for a late Sunday brunch. Lots of TVs for catching all the NFL games. Had a lively crowd of football fans enjoying the games. The menu is small, but they have a few extra brunch items on Sunday. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. Portions were plentiful. The pickles were excellent by the way.

Enjoyed a nice plate of fish and chips and a few cheeky rounds in this pleasant restaurant/ bar. Plenty of big screens to watch. Nice atmosphere.Clean place with nice high tables. Served by a lovely Irish girl who was really attentive and made sure we never ran dry. Great.

I was searching for a nice hole-in-the-wall spot where I can come in dressed casually when Greys popped up on my Yelp. Inside is a bar with modern touches. There are plenty of televisions as well. I was greeted immediately and I chose to sit down by the bar. It was casual, most people were in for work food, drinks, and conversation. I went to the bathroom before I sat down and I want to say that the large bathroom has a problem locking. When I went to sit, I sat at the bar. It took a couple of minutes to get someone’s attention. For a drink, I was looking for a sweet Prosecco. When I asked the bartender, he didn’t have the answer, but he offered to give me a taste test. He then pulled out La Marca and I told him to give me that. I was looking for the glass, however, he gave me the bottle ($8 difference). For food, I ordered the Angel Hair Pasta. The presentation was great. The portion seems deceiving, but it’s very filling. Taste-wise, the pasta was decent, the shrimp was pretty good. The bread severed with it was good, just a bit crunchy. In all, I would probably say Greg is where you can have a casual date night. It’s a shame that they don’t have a happy hour because I feel like it would do well in this area.

Just steps away from the bustle of Broadway we were delighted with ourselves after finding this great spot. Brunch was amazing and caught a little sport on the side also. The menu was varied enough that four of us with differing tastes had fantastic choices. Easy to recommend.

Good food, friendly staff but lacked a bit of atmosphere (we visited at 4pm on Memorial Day) We got happy hour drinks so overall was reasonably priced.

This is a true sports bar with multiple large screen TVs showing many different sports. It is lively and noisy but great fun and a really great atmosphere. The food is good and reasonably priced and the staff our really attentive A really good night out

I've given this a 'very good' review primarily because of the fantastic waitress we had. She had time to talk, made us welcome and then went to the trouble of finding out what food we liked and gave us recommendations for other places to go to. The food was good, basic burger type fare.

This great addition to the neighborhood has only been open for a couple of months but I've been there every week and then some! It is just what this $$$$ area needs for those of us who have outgrown Live Bait & No Idea (sorry do love you guys) but can't drop $18 per drink regularly (sorry Park Ave). Nice long bar and not only do they have hooks for your bags but they have under bar outlets, (patron side) for charging all these devices we cannot seem to live without! As you can see in the photos there are plenty of TVs but there are not the focus of the space, easy to ignore if you choose. Also, huge points for appropriate music levels! Well done, no need to shout at the person standing next to you; easy to hold a conversation and I have been there at night when they are about 90% capacity. The very friendly bartenders can pour a perfect Guinness! FOOD: Super thin crust, prosciutto, pepperoni and 3 cheese ($17?), yum! Perfectly cooked steak salad, nice greens! Had the tuna for lunch, love the presentation and the cucumber salad is a delightful side. The burgers are huge as is the fish & chips; the fries are worth the calories! Steak sandwich could serve two people. Saw lots of food pass by all looked to be decent+ portion sizes. Eaten about 12 meals there, each one fresh and delicious! They have a great draft selection and decent bottles, including a gluten free beer (Redbridge?). Nice selections of wine by the glass ($8-$12). Now serving dinner & brunch with a substantial menu, ranging from apps to full plates. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating, good crowd; prices reasonable (8+ different wines by the glass $8-$13). I have taken coworkers for lunch and dinner; friends for drinks and nibbles; it's my new work hood go to spot! Please note the ($?) is because I cannot remember the exact price but I am certain I am within a $1 - Go Enjoy!!

Food was great. Had shrimp appetizer. A bit spicy but good. Salmon was excellent! Wine list ok. Business partner had angel hair pasta and shrimp. Excellent!! Vodka straight up. Go figure. It was good.

Excellent Irish run sports bar with great food. Best Fish & ChipS I’ve had in years . Also do a lovely NZ Sav Blanc. Cormac -the barman particularly helpful to “out of towners”

Went to Grey Bar last night and had an excellent steak sandwhich! Service was excellent and the beer was cold. The happy hour crowd was still there (around 8pm) and it was very loud in there, almost to the point where you couldnt hear one another talk. Would definitely return.

Such a great bar with a super nice staff. We wanted a nice place to go and have a few drinks and this was exactly what we wanted. I would definitely go there again on my next visit to NYC.

Looks new, attentive service, great place to have a few cocktails. When we were there it was no noisy or crowded in contrast to a lot of NYC bars

Very nice bar with a grat athmosphere. Quality drinks and good food. Perfect place to watch sport games. Price are ok.

Grey Bar is an excellent bar with good food and enough TVs to satisfy football fans. The chicken wings are great, as is the turkey burger and pizza. Although service can be slow they aim to please and most of the staff is very accommodating.

Came here for brunch and to watch the hockey game- and both were excellent! They have a long bar and many TV's around to watch whatever sport you desire, yet on this Saturday afternoon it was pretty quiet with only a few tables full. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food- the smoked salmon and goat cheese omelet was really tasty as was the breakfast club sandwich! All burger platters were also very good. Service was great and all in all we spent a nice couple of hours eating, talking and watching the game....definitely worth the price which was reasonable!!

Ate here recently on visit from UK. Almost a 5 rating - but lost a point 'cos my missus' wasn't happy with the sweet potatoes shoestring fries she received (she thought they were very greasy - but her chops were lovely)....would visit again tho'.

I was visiting my friend a few years back and she recommended we try here. "Try the buffalo sliders" she said. Oh my god they were a little taste of heaven. Loved it. We were only in New York for a week and we went there twice. The Philly cheese steak sandwich is possibly the nicest sandwich I've ever eaten. And I'm from Scotland where we cook everything in butter and fat!! Great bar. I'd like to think if we were to return to New York we'd pay this place a visit again, if only for the sliders.

Smart bar and dining area with friendly staff. Ate here one night - had the burgers which would have been more than enough for two to share. The next day we visited we sat at the bar and just chatted to the bar staff which was entertaining. Lots of Tvs for sporting events but not intrusive if you just want to eat and drink - definitely worth a visit

Excellent bar/restaurant. It was just at the corner of our hotel. Too bad we went there for a quick lunch before we went off to the airport. It's really a gem. Food is great, one of the best we've eaten so far. Service is fantastic. Thank you for making our stay in New York great. Highly recommended

3 of us visited here on Sunday Afternoon and got a lovely Irish welcome from the Host John. Although it was very busy John and the Staff made time to Chat and go through the Food and Drinks Menu with us. We opted for the Fish & Chips and we were not Disappointed ,generous Portions Promptly served all washed down by a selection of Beers. This is a lovely pub/& Restaurant in a great Location, serving Great Food .I highly recommend to all . T

The food was great! Bottomless drinks for brunch... awesome. The place was very clean and comfortable. Only thing is... the waitress could have been a little more friendly. Other than that we'll be back

I wanted to get a good salad before having Whiskey at the FlatIron Room. Excellent steak salad with onion strings and a nice balanced dressing. Steak was perfectly cooked medium, well seasoned. I had the Matchbook Cabernet with the salad. The ambience is modern, tall tables with 21 Pilots and Shades of Grey soundtrack in the background. The Cab was full with a nice finish and a decent price. Salad and Cab were under $35. This place needs a few more customers because it wasn't nearly as crowded as Hillstone, but the food and service were MUCH BETTER!

Needed a Burger and Beer and this place did the trick. Good service good food, and a great IPA. I bet I sleep good.

Visiting from the UK and we stopped in here for a drink. Great drinks and very attentive staff. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent menu (both solid and liquid), great staff, very attentive. Spent a happy Friday night and then a Sunday lunch here with friends and wasn't disappointed the second time. According to one of my friends they make great cocktails too, and the wine list was good

Went there for Sunday football and had a great time! Many different games, an enthusiastic crowd and especially, excellent service, with very good food. Nothing fancy just good food to watch a game with. Love the Louisiana hot wings and the chicken sliders. Real good beer selection. Loved the Spaten Oktoberfest. Will be back. BTW saw couples with baby carriages leaving here before the game started, so it must be kid friendly

My brother and I stopped here for a burger and some beers. The burger was excellent and they have a good selection of beers on tap. This place is clean, they have great service, and they have plenty of tvs to watch the games. Would definitely return!

Just waking by and read the menu. Food was great. Atmosphere is lively. Had the special burger and it was out of this world.

We had delicious wings, amazing mozzarella sticks and chips and salsa. Plus a few beers and a couple of shots. Maddison at the bar was so quick with suggestions and service and nice banter.

It was our first night in NYC having arrived only a couple of hours ago and we wandered in for a glass of wine. Barman Shaun was so welcoming and he and a local gentleman made us feel very at ease. We also got some great tips for what to do during our stay!

Found it by chance, whilst looking for food close to West 24th Street Hyatt Place Hotel. From entry to exit this place is superb. Staff are attentive and pleasant. Food is fantastic and reasonably priced. It’s a sports bar with TV’s all around, so depending when you visit (what game is on) it can be noisy. Tonight was a big night Knicks were playing and place was buzzing. I would definitely recommend, especially if you’re staying at Hyatt Hotel.

After seeing a jazz concert at Jazz Standard I ended up having a nightcap at greybar, where the Bartender made his very own Cosmopolitan. He called it Metro. It was fabulous. Keep in mind, that my best friend in Canada makes the best cosmos! I really liked the bar, it was open and spacious and too dark. Just a great place to go for drinks. They also serve food. Have not tried that but would definitely do so on my next trip to NYC.

We stoppped here to watch the end of a game and grab some food. I was looking for some plain pasta with sauce as my stomach was bothering me. Oddly enough, that can be a challenge to find in certain places of the city with all the crazy menus. They didn't have plain pasta on the menu, but were willing to accomdate my request since they had a pasta dish already that night. Both bartenders were very friednly. The foor was great. The sauce was very tasty for a plain pasta dish. We would certainly stop in here again. Hopefully I can be more adventurous next time I order. The menu selection looked very appealing.

Went Saturday night, party of 5. The food was good, we got a table right away at 530pm. Originally was going to go to a place across the street but that placecwas so loud you couldn't hear a thoing. Grey bar wad fine, pizzas and salads were good. Only things wer for 5 people we were only given 5 appetizer plates, one of which was dirty so we had to ask for more and the waitress didn't give us enychange back so had to ask for the rest of the money. Id go again.

We visited here after a very long and wary day and was greeted and seated straight away, the iced water was very welcomed. Service with a smile, the staff was very friendly, explaining the menus and recommending dishes. Great find and would recommend

Others friends and me were looking for a drink in the flatiron area one thursday and this is the only bar open we could find. Nice ambient and kind (and pretty) bartender girl.

I recently visited the Grey Bar and Restaurant in New York City, and unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. The drinks were absolutely horrible—poorly made and lacking flavor. What made matters worse was the rude behavior of the bartender. As someone who manages a restaurant myself, I can confidently say that customer service is crucial, and the staff at Grey Bar could use a serious overhaul. The hostess was just as unwelcoming, which made the overall atmosphere uncomfortable. I would highly recommend that they improve their staff if they want to keep customers coming back

Stopped in with another couple for drinks and dinner. We sat in the back away from the bar and found it to be easy to talk, but we could also see the TV's. Food was good - burgers were solid. Good after work spot for drinks & a bite.

Look busy when we walk passed so turn round and went in. Quickly shown to table and great list of ales. Food and service good. Would use again.

About 25 of us went straight from work for drinks and bar snacks. Really well tended to and great atmosphere. Absolutely would recommend. We were an impromptu group arrival and they handled us with ease.

A nice place to come and relax after work. Lively but not deafening. Great bartenders. The food is good and there are plenty of screens to watch TV.

We needed a meeting spot for a reunion .. Centrally located near penn station but not on top of ,, someone chose Grey Bar. Good choice they have long bar tables so 10 of us could crowd around & not feel cramped . Table was good for apps & drinks comfortably ,. Coconut shrimp, pizza , lamb chops all terrific , they servers were excellent as well

Excellent food, reasonable prices, very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Can't recommend highly enough.
