We went at about 6.00pm without a reservation and got in with no problem. Service was very good and quick, predominantly burger type food, but delicious. and big portions, I could never manage a starter or a dessert in any of the NYC restaurants. To get free drinks, just ask for tap water with ice, and you'll get big glasses full.

We popped in here for a few drinks after a busy day walking around the City. We found a seat at the bar for a few hours and enjoyed chatting to Charlie, the bar tender and watching the world go by. We had a mixture of cocktails and beers which were well presented and delivered. The service was fabulous and Charlie was chatty and kept us entertained. He certainly made the visit for us.

If you’re visiting New York, you should definitely head to the Hard Rock Café in Times Square. Since we already made reservations online beforehand, it was no problem to get a table in the very busy restaurant. It didn't take long for the very friendly waiter to serve the food either. Mega lecker ! Very harmonious and charmingly decorated Mood that has lost none of its flair. Great value for money, friendly staff, nice audience, it all fits together !

Lanita was AMAZING ! My friends and I really enjoyed having her as a server. She made sure our order was exactly what we asked for. She took interest in us as people not just 'her table". Service 5 stars Conversation 5 stars Check in's 5 stars and She smelt really really good! Whenever I end up on 42nd again Hard rock will definitely be an option just because her service made us feel welcomed and cared for. Everyone should have an experience with a serve like Lanita from Harlem !

great spot really! among all HR Cafés visited this is the best one. We found so many historical artifacts of music artists of all times that we lost our minds. the place is beautiful, with a theater inside. Melanie, the waitress who looked after us, wonderful! food, as usual, perfect at Hard Rock Café

Had two visits here during our stay in NYC, brilliant happy hour 4-6pm and then ate some lunch another day, always great standards, helpful staff, good drinks! Definitely a must during your visit!

Negative experience: unfriendly staff and quality food comparable to a fast food, with prices far too high.

In the old Paramount cinema, very pleasant room. But it seemed to us that the years were less good than others? A little disappointed

We ended up here by chance and without a reservation for dinner on our first day in New York. We had no previous experience with Hard Rock Cafés, so we hesitantly asked for a table for 9 people, including 3 young children. That turned out to be no problem, the table was organized with great enthusiasm and the orders were taken and served with the same enthusiasm. Not only were the meals varied, tasty and plentiful, and the American-style drinks were constantly refilled for free, but it was also worthwhile to take a tour of the countless items from the rich rock history on display in the large space or hang. As an older rock fan, I enjoyed that a lot. Upon settlement, the price turned out not to be too bad according to American standards. This turned out to be a great experience.

Waited 1 hr for table, but we'll worth the wait. Extremely loaded chips, wonderful tasty plentiful drink, and wonderful atmosphere. Clean, staff attentive, food arrived quickly, need I say more. Highly recommend if you travel to Manhatten and want to see a museum of rock and roll memorabilia. Loved it

Have experienced such great service in the past, we tried Hard Rock Time Square. Great memorabilia. Food was just okay and very expensive. My steak Cobb salad was $30. Which would be fine, but the cut of steak was not good and I couldn’t eat most of it. The salad and dressing were very good. It took 11 minutes for someone to give us water and take our order. I’d like to recommend- but I cannot.

Dinner with a lot of flavor, animated with a live musical duo and excellent service, especially from Laura (La Canaria). To repeat.

I have been to Manhattan twice in last two years and stopped in here twice. It had a great atmosphere, decent food and drink choices, and an awesome location. I have also had great service.

Thieves! Credit card scam! Tourists beware! I was Saturday evening, the waiter Jonathan took my credit card and left with it. Monday morning I noticed that I had been debited for my restaurant on Saturday but also another amount for a dinner on Sunday! I had to block my credit card! Be careful ! Scam! The server Jonathan took my credit card and disappeared with it. I was charged for my Saturday meal, but I noticed on my bank statement that I've been charged another amount for Sunday night! Scam! Fraud!

Love this place. Back again in January 2026. Again the staff were fabulous especially Karl, Terk, Dale and Danielle. We were so looked after by these guys. . They are a credit to you Hard Rock. Hopefully next year we’ll be back to see you all again!!

Came with the family. Was seated quickly and had no reservation on a Friday night. Air con was a bit too high and area we were sitting in was quite cold. Waiter was nice but he tried to memorise the orders we made instead of writing them down, no surprise two of the meals were wrong. Due to us being with kids and not wanting to delay, we just ate the meals any way. Venue is very good. Food did taste nice and was cooked well.

Typical North American food: ribs, hamburgers, etc. We went with a reservation. The place is huge, and it is worth visiting the entire place to see everything related to musical groups that you can find. They treated us very well and, what caught our attention the most, very quickly. We barely had to wait. It is expensive, but as everything in the city goes, I don't think anyone will be scared when they see the prices. The ribs were good, and the dessert cocktail...spectacular.

Had reservations for Saturday night 7pm. Server took our order and brought drinks. It was quite a wait but food arrived and delivered by food runner/kitchen person. Never saw our server again. By the time our food came we did not have any drinks. No sodas. No water left. No beer. Empty. We couldn’t eat our spicy food since we didn’t have drinks. The food was below average in taste anyway. Finally our server came back about 45 minutes later and took our payment. Terrible experience.

I definitely will recommend! This place has good vibes, and amazing food. For such a popular place, the prices are still reasonable in my opinion! There is a fun giftshop, with countless Hard Rock Cafe souvenirs, for babies, up to adults! Kids love this place because of the amount of options in the kids menu there is, with fun gifts ! The music may be a little bit too loud in some areas for children, but other than that, I would put ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ! Tip: reserve before coming, there might be a rather small line! :)

We ate well, the prices are quite high and the music very loud, we had reservations, we didn't wait and the service was fast. Very friendly staff. We go there once especially because it’s unmissable…

Classic hard rock club for both menu and theme (good and bad). Local not particularly amazing in terms of visual impact except for the very spectacular entrance where the Delorean of the movie “back to the future” is parked. Helpful staff and decent food as always. In short, nothing different from hard rock around the world, only the location inside it leaves something to be desired. Great location in Times square.

On holiday in New York, we decide before leaving for the Big Apple to book for 35 people (group). What can I say, a terrible parenthesis at the reception who, after half an hour of waiting, find us accommodation, after the disappointing food………..they have the ability to ruin, a simple cesar salad and the request for oil and vinegar to be able to season the ' salad, we were brought a questionable vinegar and an oil substitute, which has the same taste as the bad smell you smell in low-level fast food outlets……….I repeat, the music is good, they have to work hard for the food, but much…..

I had such a great time there, and the atmosphere was terrific. It's located around Times Square. Although expensive, it deserves.

Really disappointing, had messaged restaurant three times prior to trip to tell them that we were there celebrating 3 birthdays, but received no reply, drinks were wrong, had to get changed but waited a while for this, chicken was disgusting, pink in places grey in others seemed really cheap, ribs were fatty, refused to pay for chicken dish , which server was good about , not their fault! Server was friendly but rushed of feet ! Sister mentioned to a manager when we left that food was disappointing, they were like sorry to hear that , and that was that ! I wouldn’t visit again , as food poor quality and customer care poor.

It is located in Time Square, we didn't have dinner but we visited the shop and purchased several t-shirts and gadgets. Very beautiful, with instruments and clothes that belonged to famous musicians. It's worth a visit to browse, even if it's not the most beautiful I've seen. Packed with people.

It is located in the middle of Times Square Both the atmosphere and the menu are similar to other restaurants in the chain. It specializes in American food, hamburgers The waiter's attention was excellent (Curtís) The quality is good, the size of the plates is adequate, as is the price. We tried the Messi Burger and we didn't like it, we expected more

Very average, half of restaurant closed so couldn’t look around, very poor seating area on high stools in a corner curtained off from what looked like main area, very poor service had to get servers attention for everything, the cheeky servers then expected tip ????

As in all parts of the world, this location is very central and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean. Good burgers, good chips. To return.

A Hard Rock Café in Times Square, we say it’s something to do even if chain restaurants aren’t our specialty. Even if we came for the music, it's noisy, a little overrated and too expensive for what it is. We preferred a burger at Shake Shack for less

Atmosphere was neat, and we liked that they take reservations. The food, however, was less than mediocre and overpriced for the quality. The restaurant was hot and service was slow. If you just love Hard Rock, you’ll like this one. But, if you’re looking for good food you have many other options nearby.

Classic hard rock, nice old Paramount room decor, good burgers, efficient service! Not too many people for lunch at 12:30!

The Hard Rock Café in Time Square is a place you can’t miss if you come to New York City. Although not all tables were occupied they made us wait a long time before being called and then being escorted to the table, but all in all it was worth it. We chose four salads, each different from the others and all four delicious. Drink cold beer and for women water, which in the USA costs more than any drink. Prices in line with New York prices, but that's okay..........

Danielle is a whole vibe all by herself. Best birthday ever. We didn’t have a reservation, wait wasn’t long at all. We’ll definitely be back.

I really love it, and I come back everytime I'm in NY, but make sure not to use the restrooms. They're a Desaster!

Myself and my friend where excited to visit the Hard Rock Cafe New York yesterday. It was very disappointing, food wasn’t great and the guy who served us was really rude. He was also rude to another customer in front of us. Always loved the Hark Rock Cafes all over the world, this is the worst I’ve ever been too. Poor quality food and a staff member who’s as welcoming as a migraine.

“Legendary” burger and chips are definitely worth trying and they are good, although there are quality burger joints with better food. The beer is excellent in its simplicity. What makes the difference is the music that is always present and always tough! A warranty

We were welcomed by Charlie at the bar and he was incredible! Made us Brit’s feel every welcome! He was 5 star gentleman to me and my friend. We throughly enjoyed his company and his expert cocktail making! He is an asset to the team at hard rock!!

Visited New York January 2025 and came into the bar most evenings. The staff were fabulous especially Turk, Carl,T and Dale. They certainly looked after us. Thanks guys for all the fabulous drinks you made!! Hopefully you’ll still be working there when we visit next.

We were there last night (me, my daughter and my wife) for a special occasion: it was my daughter’s 18th birthday and it was my wedding anniversary too. The manager was very nice and found us the table that we wanted and Mike was our waiter and he was very welcoming and very friendly. They offered me and my wife two glasses to cheer for the special occasion and a good ice cream for my daughter as well as birthday wishes from the all staff. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great!

We had a couple of drinks at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York and the atmosphere and general appeal was great. We had been served by Charlie (this was the second night) as we came the night before too. The drinks for the happy hour had been flowing and genuinely grateful for him looking after us. He was brilliant. Proper customer service for the time we had been here. Me and my wife love hard rock. This is genuinely one of the best hard rocks we have been too. Great customer service and attention to detail. Charlie is a great addition to the team. If you don’t look after him I will hire him and put him in one of my businesses.

Food cane very quickly. Plentiful although one meal was literally meat and chips. Would have been nice to have some salad or the like with it. Payment machines went down and they made us wait 40 minutes to get them working. We were absolutely shattered having walked over 20 miles that day and just wanted to leave. Staff were OK.

We are hardcore fans of the HRC , you never miss the opportunity to visit one when traveling the world. Last night we were disappointed by the service that was really below everything, regardless of the server. We ate as usual well , nothing to say about food , simple but good . . The atmosphere-decoration of the HRC that we already knew well is always great. On the other hand the service was really not up to the reception we usually have. The waiter clears, offers dessert and brings the note before my wife finishes her dish!!! ...The dishes are brought to the table by another waitress who taps the plates on the table without a word. When we pay, we go to another waitress because our server was not available , unsympathetic response of the waitress because we are not supposed to ask for something other than our own. In short exceptional bad experience , this is not how the waiter will swell the bill to have a better tip...it is the problem of automatic tips ..again fortunately the Rock atmosphere and the food remain good. A little disappointed by the Hard Rock of NYC this 28/04/2025.

It is not the first HRC where we eat, the premises are always well maintained and with their unmistakable style. The staff is very friendly and the dishes are always very good. You can book the table with TripAdvisor and for the always crowded area it is a nice plus.

We sat at the bar for 20 minutes with multiple bar tenders passing by. Not one of them asked us if we wanted something to drink. To top it off the bartender poured 5 glasses of water for another table and he noticed the water was yellowish. He poured out the water and put the glasses back on the pile behind the bar for the next drink. See ya !

Very disappointed! It's our tradition to have hard rock cafes in big cities and it's the worst we've done: very cold atmosphere, we were placed behind a pole without being able to change even though it was half empty, our Server disappeared as soon as the aperitif, they were short of staff too. The worst meal in a hard rock café: cold meat, half-sized fries, really very bad burgers. On the other hand, the score always increases. Too bad, but from now on we will only go to the well-rated ones.

Went for my parters birthday treat. We pre booked and were taken to a seat straight away on arrival. Were we was seated wasn’t great. We were a level below other tables and was eye height with people above and you could see food debris on the floor which was off putting. We both had burgers and fries. Burgers were good nut the fries tasted if they had been in old oil with the taste it gave off. It’s the worst Hard Rock Cafe I’ve ate at and we were truly disappointed because it was a birthday treat. Would visit this site again. Plenty of better places to eat

Ribs were good. Sliders were good. Service was good and very friendly. Atmosphere is very good. Lots to look at. Right in the heart of Broadway.

Today we visited Hardrock Cafe with our teens. We chose this restaurant because of our familiarity with brand and guaranteed good food/service. Hardrock Cafe did not disappoint us! We had a great evening in here and enjoyed both the good food and vibes. The only issue we noted was the ladies restrooms weren’t in the best state, but we didn’t come here for the restrooms. It was also a little disappointing that there wasn’t a bar for us to enjoy a pre/post meal drink beforehand.

The HRC is located in Times Square. Both the food and service were excellent. It's always a fun experience to eat there.

I recently visited the Hard Rock Cafe with a friend, and we had an incredible experience from start to finish. We were seated right away and greeted by our amazing waitress, Donneisha, who took great care of us throughout the night. We kicked things off with drinks, and let me tell you — they did not disappoint. I went for their signature Hurricane cocktail and decided to order the large, since finishing it meant you got to keep the collectible glass. (Spoiler: challenge accepted and conquered!) When the food arrived, everything looked and tasted phenomenal. We ordered a little bit of everything — the shareable buffalo wings, the margarita flatbread, and the fiery Diablo Burger. Every dish was served hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Of course, no visit to Hard Rock is complete without taking in the iconic atmosphere. The walls are lined with legendary memorabilia from some of the greatest names in music, making the entire place feel like a museum for big kids and music lovers alike. I highly recommend walking around to see what pieces of rock history you can spot. I can’t wait to come back and explore even more of what Hard Rock has to offer — both on the plate and on the walls!

The atmosphere was nice and the place was rly spacious. The food was good but I wish there had been more options. But overall would go again

Awful. Server didn’t care, food was not to typical Hard Rock standards. Will never return to this location and advise everyone else to skip it. 2/5 stars

You have to order A table days before You Get here. The only availabel time was 22:15. We arrived at time and got A table. The waiter was Kind and We could soon order food. It took A little time before the food came, but it tasted good. This restaurant is like every Hard Rock all over the World; big, effektiv and noisy. We had A great time!

Fantastic staff We have just had a meal at Times square HRC and had Kamrul? Serve us at the bar. He was most impressive. He was so intuitive and fast it was amazing to watch. Great service, we had a very enjoyable evening. Thanks Kamrul

Here again for the third time, as we come here everytime we come to NYC. It’s a great place to come for a few drinks, especially during happy hour. We had been served by Dale who was epic. Attentive, pleasant and friendly. He is an asset to the venue. The drinks and prices are really good. Struggle to get a bit at the bar at the weekend, but week day is great. We love it at Hard Rock. Epic place.

First of all the server Mikah was lovely, friendly and helpful - the perfect host. Sadly the food was nowhere near as nice. I had the chicken tenders. Tender?? What a joke. I think the chef took his shoes off, coated them in batter and cut them up to serve. Never in my life have I eaten such rubbery “chicken” in my life. Just awful. Food took ages to come out too. Really really poor. But Mikah was a star. She deserves to be working somewhere better…

The worst customer service ever Been to so many and enjoyed them all This one was the worst ... lazy bar staff ... door host who was rude

The location right on Times Square is top. We were greeted warmly and registered for a table. After a short time we were taken to a table by a woman who seemed annoyed. Have previously informed the condition that we want separate invoices did not work. Otherwise, the condition was friendly but not really at the point. Order ice tea and get soda and then get the wrong food twice more.

Local as expected, but once seated repeatedly ignored in service despite our perseverance to stop every available waiter!

Fixed stop in the various visits to NY, nothing less than other HR in the world and something more for the location.. Times Square.. a dream. This time instead of decanting the place and the menu (those are) I would like to focus on a problem solved in a more than egregious way. We found a hair in a sandwich and after pointing it out to the waiter came directly the manager to apologize to ask if we needed anything and to tell us that lunch would be totally offered. Congratulations .. because the problem can always be there, we are human beings and we would miss it, but it is the management of the latter that always makes and always say the difference. Can't wait to come back

We were pleasantly surprised with the food. Vegan options. We had a nice time overall. Staff were very friendly.

You know what you are getting with a Hard Rock Cafe. Good service, good food, and with its location some brilliant memorabilia. I have been to HC cafes and hotels all over the world. They never disappoint, and this one didn't either. One of the best chains to come out of the UK (yes, they started in London and are a British company).

We were more than disappointed! Worst Hard Rock Café we've visited so far: Service and food = not enough. No kids menu, according to waiter (there are in London, Budapest, Vienna), wrong burgers served, overcharged and unfriendly. Conclusion: not worth a visit!

Lovely food and a big shoutout to the staff I can’t remember the guy who served us but he was so lovely 10/10 we would return again x

Hands down the worst place we ate in New York! We arrived around 16:20 for our 16:30 booked table and the hallway was jam packed with people. There was no order/system, just a loose queue. Stood in the queue and a member of staff called us over, went over and she asked if we had a booking, when we said yes she said ‘you need to go to her’ and waved in the direction of the person checking people in from the queue she had called us out off. We rejoined the queue and were then put into another queue to wait to be seated. Before being seated we were told the only toilets were the ones in the lobby, where walking tour groups were pouring in to just use the toilet, the queue was immense. Once inside, there were very few people given the size of the venue which was a surprise given the queues outside. It was clear that the staff there were clearly all very unhappy. We were met by Carmile and what a delight she was - came over, put menus on the table and walked off saying nothing. She came back 10mins later and took our order - 2 diet cokes, chicken burger and chicken strips. Taking the menus, she threw two straws on the table as she turned her back. One of the drinks didn’t taste right so We told Carmile. Her response ‘what’s wrong with it?’ We explained one didn’t taste like Diet Coke to which she replied ‘one is Coke Zero and the other is Diet Coke’ I said we ordered 2 Diet Cokes and I was shocked when she said ‘both have no sugar, does it even matter?’ We told her it’s not what we ordered and she stormed off, returning ages later with another glass and said ‘which one’s bad then?’ Took the Coke Zero and walked off. The food arrived and was ok, nothing special at all. We were then given the bill - didn’t ask for it. No offer or another drink or desert, just the bill flung on the table and Carmile walked off. We paid the bill and left. Unfortunately a venue that rides on its name and survives because it’s the Hard Rock Cafe. The staff are shocking! Avoid!

Last night myself and the wife had a lovely night at the Hard Rock cafe. However it nearly was a non event, front of house literally couldn't hold a pi (well you know the rest). We sat at the bar waiting for a text message that never came only for me to go check as the place was clearing to be told, yes sorry we are ready for you please go queue back over there, I'd been waiting hour and half when told it would be only an hour?? Wasn't in the mood to queue anymore. The bar staff really stepped up, we had a laughs, ended up ordering the food at the bar, which was lovely. Charlie, Dale and the team really are stars and a credit to the team there, the others too much standing around and chatting instead of switching tables. I'd certainly recommend going here, lots on all screens, just be prepared to wait if you want a proper table, but don't miss the opportunity like we nearly did with hard working genuine people

Good location but first of all it is a place to go the restroom for tourists and street “ artists”. As all hard rock it’s overpriced but this hard rock was also hard to visit. Long line , 1 girl behind the counter , waiting times of a hour while the restaurant was half full…. Left en right was empty but they wouldn’t fill it. No hard rock for us

On vacation in New York, we couldn't one night we were wandering around Times square, not walk into the Hard Rock Cafe. The place is slightly basement, very large with the inevitable memorabilia on the walls. In front of a Beyoncé dress, we took: 1 Messi chicken sandwich (the sandwich of the moment advertised by Lionel Messi, basically a chicken cutlet) $20.99 1 legendary burger medium (classic beef burger with cheddar) $21.99 1 draft beer + 1 bottled beer (Crown) $17. All accompanied by the usual mountain of fries. Adding the inevitable taxes of $5.32 we arrive at a total of $65.30 For a misunderstanding with the waitress, the tip we were already ready to pay was not added to this total. Tried on 02 April 2025 at dinner

Hard Rock in general maintains a very good standardization as I have had the opportunity to eat at some of its restaurants and the taste in each of them is great without telling your attention when arriving and their service at the table. EYE: Some faults always correct it and do not leave you with a bad experience and I think they are what they are for the same reason to seek perfection in any circumstance and always be able to provide the best of experiences. Good food Good service Good atmosphere Good menu Good standardization...

Nice place located in the center of New York in Times Square, we didn't wait too long to be seated, but we waited a long time to be served. Good food, fresh beer, high bill for what we ate.

My daughter graduated from college in dec 2024 and her gift to herself was a trip to New York and a stay at Hardrock Hotel we had an amazing trip I caused some damages to the headboard by accident and Daniel and Brittany was so nice to me and was able to help me with the damages I will be forever grateful for those 2 the hotel is so clean and beautiful the front desk staff was so nice to us the food was amazing especially the steak and salad thanks for making my daughter graduation trip a success wish we could have stay 2 more days maybe in the future i give them 10 stars

Cheap and food was out of this world expected it to be really expensive sat at bar and ordered the best food ever was served by terc and he made up feel so welcome looking after us throughout or stay he was that nice we will be eating here every night as it’s the best food around

We just went out and loved it, when we came to NY always one night we had dinner, the meat good and today we were attended by Jorge, a very very friendly Peruvian boy, so the waiters are happy. Spectacular place.

Excellent food, great customer service. A little pricey, but good atmosphere! We enjoyed the meal, and a chance to relax in warm surroundings!

Typical Hard Rock, reservation required otherwise very long wait. Very fast Service, ordered four New York steaks, specifying welldamm cooking, came practically to blood. Too bad because the quality of the meat is excellent. Typical New York mid to high prices

Service was average but the seating was badly arranged & we had to ask to be moved coz they tried to stick us in a corner when there was plenty of room. The food was nothing like the advertised Messi Chicken sandwich, it was overcooked, overpriced & cold. Very disappointed

Great bar. Wonderful staff and service. Food was amazing. Smash burger 100%. Shout out to Elton who took care of us on Tuesday 2nd. Came back again on the 3rd Dec- shout out to Marley in the bar and Terc. All the staff are amazing and friendly to one another which makes a lovely atmosphere. Precious is also a superstar :)

The chain is known, the music is great and the decor is nice, the burgers are still good. Efficient service.

Service was great and staff were friendly. Location is very convenient. Would definitely recommend the New York City burger!

We always go to a hard rock cafe if there is one in the city we are visiting and we have been to quite a few in several countries. The menu is the same and you know what you are getting. My only criticism of this one is that we booked through open table and the next day after eating here we received an e-mail from open table stating the restaurant had informed them we were a no show which was incorrect.

Had a fab time every night in this bar. Coming back January 19th 2026 please let Carl, Turk, T and Dale know. See you soon guys

Music sucks no rock music thought that’s what it’s all about. The service was definitely slow and got our order wrong. Meat was still alive when served under cooked. You could count the chips on the plate. Value for money No. I did not enjoy at all very disappointing

We have just visited Hard Rock Cafe Times Square New York. We are appalled by the service and how the waiting staff treat and spoke to us during our visit. We are visiting from the UK and have never had an experience like it. Our server was arguing and very angry with his colleagues seemingly due to not being allocated larger groups / tables. He came over to us with an attitude due to his recent altercation with his colleagues. He took our drinks order then disappeared for around 15 minutes while our drinks had yet to arrive or our food order been taken. We had to ask the young lady who seated us originally to ask about our drinks order and food order. He then came back and proceeded to take orders for a newly seated table of 6 and again we waited for a further 10 minutes. We are at the point of leaving. He came over took our order eventually the order then arrived wrong with missing items. After our meal we asked for the bill and paid he then chased after us asking for a larger tip, again rather aggressively, which due to the service we received we did not want to leave a large tip as were unsatisfied with the service we received. On our exit we did ask to speak to management but apparently all were in a meeting.

came here for dinner today and really enjoyed it.our drinks and food were all really delicious and our waitress (dillony) was so friendly and accommodating :)

Whilst in NY we thought we'd visit Hard Rock, we were welcomed in a friendly manner and our waitress was also very friendly and knowledgeable, the food was ok but nothing special. We wouldn't return.

Wonderful experience! Exceptional service and quality. We went back 4 times during our stay in NY. Worth every penny!

Obviously very large location, prices in line with New York. Friendly staff, good for a stop at any time.

Great service and atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and quick to serve and help with anything. Kids had chicken tenders, adults rib, pork combo and steak salad. Reasonably priced for Times Square. Would definately go back.

We were 3 people. The two men, aged 29 and 41, were not given a drink because we did not have our ID with us. A bit scandalous, but above all very strange.

If you don't want to wait an hour, you should make a reservation in advance. The interior is nice and the HRC is spread over several rooms. The burgers and the service were consistently good. You should also stop by the Rock Shop, they have a good selection. The location on Times Square is of course perfect too.

Wow, what an amazing cafe/restaurant/shop. I have been to several around the world and this would have to be the biggest with such an amazing collection of memorabilia. The atmosphere is exciting, the food good and the service outstanding.

Loved the experience from start to finish. Dani was fabulous. Welcoming, friendly, and genuinely lovely. Definitely an employee to be treasured. Food was incredible. Burger and grilled chicken sandwich best we have tasted Drinks were great

Walked in and requested outdoor seating, and was seated immediately. However, after sitting for over 15 minutes on their rooftop outdoor area, I finally went in and requested service - which they seemed to be able to provide for all of the other guests out there. We finally got a drink, but seriously they never checked on us again - we had to go inside to settle our bill - absolutely horrible!!

We went to the hard rock cafe without having a Reservation, in this case I put you on the waiting list and leaving the phone number for the network called back as soon as a table opens. The place is very big, the food is good comparison in the norm for New York. The only flaw is a really icy air conditioning unfortunately we had forgotten the sweatshirts ... The positive things are many, the quality of the food is good , we were lucky because we also received a coupon with a 25% discount for that evening. another positive note is the fantastic service we received, our waiter Timmy was wonderful, followed us, and was super helpful and fast ! 10 and praise for service

We were walking by and the girl that was on the door was being extremely rude it was May 27th 2024 at 2:30pm she was calling people idiots whiles they were standing outside on the footpath constantly trying to get people to move she should realise being a big franchise in the middle of time square there is always going to be people around stopping outside taking photos etc… I think it was very unprofessional and deterred us from entering hopefully this issue can be resolved.

Upon arrival the wait time was too bad approximately 15min. Service was good, food was very tasty and well presented. Didn’t like how they handled discount service.

I love the food and drinks very much I like the ambiance my favorite rock culture great vibes with music I love to visit again and again

Now a classic, very good fried chicken and hamburgers, excellent desserts, fast and attentive service, excellent acoustics and beautiful music

After a rather modest portion at the HRC in Iceland, there were now more lavish amounts in New York again:-) Ribs and steak tasted great, also the starter and the side dishes. The service was fast-track, the prices with all the accessories a bit high. Ambience and all the trimmings colorful, exciting, musical, but also loud.

Went to grab a bite with coworkers and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the food tasted great and portions were generous. I tried their new Messi Chicken Sandwich and was very good!

A great restaurant, good service, good food. Very busy and loud music Not for a nice evening of dining. Service was fine. Waiting time for dinner was an hour and a half.

This spot is great for a causal night out Dana was a good waitress the environment for hard rock is crazy , makes you feel like a rockstar

Great buzz in the restaurant and really love all the memorabilia. However the lady at the reception desk screamed my name despite us standing about 3 feet from her exactly where they asked us to wait. We were seated at a table that was squeezed between 2 others so tightly that only one side could stand at a time. Some of the food was grand, like the tortillas, however my cob salad with a few pieces of dried up beef was pitiful. Please do better Hardrock!!

We were a family of 8 that ate here in the new year. We were slightly underwhelmed with the experience, the food was just “ok” and quite expensive. Our server was amazing, really lovely and polite.

Located in Times Square, this HRC allows you to have a drink in a very special atmosphere. Professional and efficient staff.

We had booked at 7:15 but arrived early. Gold we could go to bat s table not ready. Lovely barman, not sure of his name but he was Egyptian, said we could eat at the bar now if we wanted. He was super helpful. He also sorted out our cocktails so we got a free glass. We had 2 burgers and then one desert - which was massive. It was a great evening.

I had been before (also the original location)...but it was their 20th Anniversary and I wanted a pin. Although we enjoy the food too. It's fairly consistent around the world. Then there's Blackberry Sangria, so that's worth a visit. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the staff didn't really seem to get Unity :-(, I've been collecting since the HR's opened in the US. I've been to 104 around the world and sometimes Managers and Staff get it and sometimes they don't. I've come to the conclusion it's not a big deal to them because they are there just for a 'job'. Not all of them, some are very engrained in the 'brand' but... This should be part of their training. Anyway...Hard Rock food is consistently good and this one is spot on.

Great hard rock - absolutely massive and good decor. Staff are very friendly and very attentive re drinks. Food was good and good choice for vegetarians.

Nice place, touristy but not only. Average prices for the place. It offers a warm welcome and a collection of memorabilia. Advised

The service was so slow, it took 40+ minutes from ordering our drinks for them to arrive. Food was poor. The restaurant area was absolutely freezing. We complained along with others, but nothing, but a joke about it, was done. Couldn’t wait to get out of the place.

We were eating with my teenage son, who has multiple allergies (dairy, eggs, nuts, peanuts, legumes & sesame). The kitchen manager was outstanding! He very quickly put us at ease, said they could adjust his order to suit, and let us know there are no nuts on the premises. My son had a fantastic meal, which we all felt super relaxed about, after the kitchen manager told us he would be supervising the meal. Cannot recommend enough, and we absolutely will be back! GFA m you Hard Rock Cafe!!

Busy but great refuel stop. We opted to sit at the bar, rather than wait 30 mins for a table. Great service from our lovely bartender, she was friendly and helpful. Food arrived in good time, sliders were delicious

We always go to the Hard Rock where we travel, New York could not be an exception. But it didn't go quite right. They were slow to attend and serve us. I don’t eat gluten and it’s the only one I’ve gone to that tells me there are no gluten-free nachos 🤷🏻 (I’ve eaten in Barcelona, Rome, London, etc...) My family did eat nachos and they're not as good as elsewhere. You wing them well.

My family love the atmosphere and the food at the Hard Rock. We've always has good experiences when we've gone before but this night was exceptional thanks to the outstanding service. Our server Bryce was friendly, courteous and cordial. He made our dining experience special. This place is aptly named because it really does rock.

We were absolutely satisfied...really nice and evocative surroundings and excellent food. The first time I booked by purchasing a voucher on GetYourGuide which included hamburgers, chips and unlimited drinks. The second time we went directly because we really liked how they cook the meat. I recommend it!

Although the streets were wall to wall people and seemed like daylight with all the lights illuminating Times Square, the restaurant felt safer than the area. The ambiance was dark with illuminated areas of displays. Staff was friendly and personal. Surprisingly, the food was very good. A chain like this should have been cookie cutter with other properties but it was unique and exceeded my expectations. Whether on a date our out with friends or family a pleasant venue awaits.

I've been to Hard Rock Cafes all over the world. Around 30 at this point. Went to the NYC location while on vacation last month and the place was empty. No shortage of tables. We asked for a table for four (3 present, one parking the car). Two of our party went to the restrooms to wash their hands. The hostess said she would seat us when they came out, which I thought was a little odd, since she just left me standing there in front of a restaurant full of empty tables. Once all three of us were there she once again refused to seat us because the fourth wasn't there. I said we knew his order and we were really hungry and she got nasty with me and said no again. Literally have never had this happen at an HRC. They are all about good service... but not this time. I asked to speak with a manager and she said no, so we walked out. One of the restaurants across the street got our business and I was severely disappointed.

The price was surprisingly reasonable compared to other places. The food was good and we had great service from Monica!

Beautiful place directly in Times Square. Huge and beautiful. Di eats well as in all hard rock cafes (and on average better than in other places in the USA). Highly recommended, to book

Typical Hard Rock, we booked online managing to change the day two days before. Very fast Service, ate well, very nice place and professional staff.. Typical New York medium-high prices but the t-shirts great price compared to us in Europe. we usually receive a gadget in Europe, discounts or gifts but when I told the salesman, compared to other hard rock cafes in Europe looked at me crooked as if I said who knows what. and yet we have always received so in other European stores. however I repeat the cheap t-shirt and ok the same...

If you want to be in a purely American atmosphere with its typical food, rock and roll music and collection of musical memorabilia from that era, be sure to visit the Hard Rock Café in the heart of Manhattan. Serving classic American cuisine, with options like burgers, ribs, fish, and vegetarian dishes, the service is excellent both in the restaurant and at the bar. A visit here will leave you with unforgettable hours.

Visited for breakfast with family and friends, server was very good. Pancakes and waffles really good, and son added to his glass collection!

We ate there as a couple for our last night in NYC. A little disappointed by the attitude of the waiter. But the rest was good! The decor, the atmosphere, .... We quickly had room to eat. The food is not famous but correct 😉

Well known branded establishment, world wide famous, but I wasn't blown away. The merchandise is very expensive for what it is. Downstairs leads you to the actual cafe and some decent exhibits, but although the Lionel Messi chicken sandwich was heavily advertised, I wasn't swayed, especially at $20.99. Menus were sticky and grubby. Staff tried their best, but obviously under-staffed and under constant pressure. I asked if I could keep a menu as a memento but was told in no uncertain terms I couldnt. I took one, and a drinks menu anyway! Been to better Hard Rock Cafes but at least I visited this iconic branch.

Food was good ! Price are correct .. BUT 13 dollars for a kid meal .. one hotdog without sauce or any toppings and a apple juice .. that’s a steal:( Fries are perfect tho Ps : the hotdog came burnt, we refused it and asked for a correct one, waiter was upset.

Disgusting, dirty forks and terrible service! The employees do not care at all and they do the bare minimum! Highly recommend u don't go u less u like eating off of dirty forks and knives

Ok Hard Rock Cafe is a cool place ,fun and has a nice outskirts for a sit out They have a good customer care ,with nice foods ,cold drinks

Went in to have cocktails celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary. The bartender was amazing! Sorry I can’t remember his name, but he was originally from Florida. Gave us complimentary drinks to celebrate and a card. Made our visit really special. Thank you doesn’t express how grateful we are. A really unexpected kind and thoughtful gesture. We will definitely be visiting again when we come back to New York.

evident that in this place the cuisine is always high quality. The positive aspect is that the value for money is high compared to other places. Portions are plentiful and in any case with raw materials, always of quality. It is a safe choice for those who do not want to risk

Pleasant evening in this historic venue/museum. We also bought several gadgets. Not bad food, but around we found better. Service full of flaws, mainly "fake" blatantly fake and, as far as we are concerned, with an unpleasant episode. We forgot two minutes (I say ONLY 2 minutes) a power Bank on the table and it disappeared immediately without them having tried to find it. In fact... we seemed to bother for our legitimate request for restitution.... Bad episode!

This is undoubtedly the temple of Hard Rock. Large beyond measure, the central room with the stage is impressive due to its grandeur. If you are out and about outside meal times you can wander around it calmly and appreciate it in all its parts. Obviously you always take a souvenir home at the end (as usual).

I dined at Hard Rock Cafe NYC on November 11th and had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Hard Rock Cafe. I’ve been to more than ten locations worldwide, but this one had rude service and a disrespectful attitude. The server didn’t write down the order, asked to repeat it, and still brought it wrong. When I pointed it out, he got visibly upset and was rude, even implying I was mistaken because I’m a tourist and a foreigner. Ironically, I taught English for six years at a school funded by the U.S. Embassy in Brazil and hold a Michigan Honors Pass in the Certificate of Proficiency in English. After that, he disappeared; we had to ask others for refills and the check. At the end, he made us pay at the counter and didn’t even say goodbye. We spent over $200 between the café and the shop and left feeling disrespected. Far below Hard Rock standards. Would not recommend. The atmosphere also felt tense and rushed, as if guests were an inconvenience close to closing time. Management should seriously retrain the team to ensure guests feel welcome and respected. Basic courtesy and professionalism were completely missing.

Great atmosphere and artefacts. Food was generally ok. One of our burgers was cold and when we sent it to get warmed up it took 40 minutes to come back. Service was terrible not even an apology for the delay. We informed the waiter of a 21st birthday within our group and he just silently put dessert down on the table with no song or pleasantry at all. Could have been a lot more accommodating and didn’t offer anyone else dessert menu.

Deplorable welcome at the bar. After rudely driving us out of the bar, he finally refused to serve us. We've turned back. To avoid with the family.

Just visited the Hard Rock New York, where we have been a couple of times in the past, and we have been to numerous Hard Rocks over the world, and have always really enjoyed them. And have always highly recommended them to others. But unfortunately tonight has completely changed our opinion. We ordered the nachos and sliders for starter and the mac and cheese for mains. It all came out together. We explained one was mains and we hadn’t even started our starters yet. They took the mains away without even saying anything. Just as we finished our starters the mains were brought back out. When I say finished our starters, the nachos were disgusting, hardly no cheese sauce on them, so we left the majority. The mac and cheese, you could tell had just been put to sit, waiting to be served back to us, it had all gone dry, the chicken and the garlic bread had gone hard, so again we never ate hardly any of it. But yet our bill was $103 with a min tip of 18% - which for the first time ever, we didn’t give. Oh, and our drinks order wasn’t even taken so alls we had was the water served initially on arrival. Extremely disappointed and won’t be in a rush back.

Booked with a large group. Of course you could only choose between 5 dishes that were understandable. We were put in an uncomfortable corner. The food was served lukewarm, but because we were hungry and didn't want to wait any longer for hot food, we ate it. No sauce between the burger, very dry. For "dessert" a New Yorker cookie... yes, okay. Towards the end my wife had half a glass left and this was simply taken away. It was clear that we had to leave as soon as possible. Also not worthy of Hard Rock since I haven't heard a single rock song but pop and hip hop? We have already been to a dozen Hard Rock cafes and this one was by far the worst. The shop is big but that's all.

Hard Rock Café remains a must for us. Always a good experience and no bad surprises. The taste is there and the prices (even on Time Square) are normal. If you can find better burgers in New York, I have to admit that their nachos are the best I've ever eaten in a Hard Rock!... In short, we are fans of the concept and we have to do it! A downside that we noticed compared to other hard rock, the decoration of the bar (always excellent) is very simplistic here...

A visit to the Hard Rock Cafe is almost standard in cities where there is one, a so-called obligatory visit. The food is like in all restaurants in this chain, so we knew what we wanted. The service was really very friendly and courteous, special attention was paid to our little grandson, he almost had a table for himself, and the food and drinks were brought to the table very quickly. Oh, and we had made a reservation beforehand, so despite arriving a little early we were able to look around the shop and choose what to take with us.

Terrible Was violently ill after having what appeared to be off larger (didn’t drink it all as it was vile). Burger sat heavy, chips tepid. Service terrible as the self reported manager was rude and ignorant towards us and another customer that was simply waiting for our table. If we didn’t mind why should he. Been all over the world and never have I had the experience in a Hard Rock Cafe quite like this one. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

My teenage daughter and I went during a quick girl's weekend in NYC and had a great time. Convenient location, fun atmosphere, good food, and friendly customer service. Great place for all ages!

Everything you can expect from it, great (affordable) burgers and great “Hard Rock” atmosphere. Plenty to see too, from the guitars of Lenny Kravitz, Paul McCartney etc, package from Madonna to the DMC DeLorean from Back to the Future.

Great location, close to Times Square. We really enjoyed the food, especially the chicken fajitas! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Many people wait for a table to have dinner, but my father and I had dinner at the bar counter two nights in a row, avoiding the line! That gave us the chance to get to know the staff. Everyone was very kind, especially Charles. He’s amazing at making cocktails—friendly and fun. Thank you, Charles. A Hug, Sabrina (: “

Came here Saturday night, was seated. The place was empty and seemed like it had seen better days. Waiter came over, his name was Eric. He looked like he hated his job and hated us to be honest. Everything seemed wayy too much for him. Ordered three sundaes and 5 drinks. the drinks were very slow. Got two then 5 mins later got the other three. The hot fudge brownies came out, he brought 4 spoons when we asked for another he said what have you done with the 5th, not sure let me grab that for you. The brownies came out cold and with no hot fudge. We found a hair in one but was scared to tell Eric as he seemed so angry with us and his job already. We left most, he didnt ask how we were. We grabbed the bill, he had enough time to draw a love heart and arrows pointing to the tip amount on the receipt. The guy didn't deserve a penny, infact we shouldn't have paid for the brownies or his terrible service. Even the host seemed angry at her job when we asked where the restrooms were. This place should be ashamed.

In mid town for a theater show so decide to visit Hard Rock for dinner. Was seated very quickly and that was great but then the service was really slow. There were people arriving after us that got their food ahead of us. Also the food wasn’t great, steak was tough and portions were small. I’ve had far better meals at my local diner in New Jersey. If you want to visit this location go for the atmosphere and memorabilia but don’t expect too much when it comes to the food which I would describe as basic.

Traditional American food restaurant but very good, I was there for lunch in September, and everything was very good, the atmosphere is decorated with a rock theme (for those who like it, it's paradise) and the service was also very good, especially for me, a person who is not fluent in English, the waitress was very friendly and attentive and helped us a lot even though we didn't speak Portuguese

Mostly very crowded restaurant It’s quit hard to reserve a spot We’ve had dinner here during our Easter stay in New York, before we were heading to a Broadway show! Food was okay, a bit cold. Chicken ( which was served with the fajitas), was dry. The burger was good. Moreover, the service form the staff was quit slow. We ate a bit early, due to the Broadway show we were heading too, so it wasn’t that busy. Eventough our server was a bit grumpy and in a rush. We have had much better experiences at other Hard Rock Cafés, for instance Barcelona or Mexico.

Came to NYC to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Stopped at the famous Hard Rock Cafe where our waitress Eva went above and beyond. She was fantastic, friendly, attentive and courteous. Exceptional customer service is difficult to find these days, but you can rest assured you will find it at Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square.

Great atmosphere/staff were great . First time we have been to hard rock, recommend a visit, food was great , expensive which was expected .

Easy to get in as we pre booked for a Birthday celebration but went downhill from here. Ordered drinks, which took nearly 20 minutes to arrive, food followed another 30 minutes after.Without the server checking on our drinks situation whilst we were waiting. Food came, and most of it was cold and not tasty at all. Our server was no where to be seen and other tables were impacted too with some needing to pay or be cleared. My daughter wanted a dessert so we hung on for this. When we finally got to pay I was taken into the servers kitchen to use the card machine and felt pressured into tipping despite not wanting to. The place it's self was an experience but the service and food was rubbish.

Came here for tea on our first evening. Booked our table and was allowed in early which was great. Service was quick but the portion sizes were average at best. The restaurant was very tight around the tables, maximum tables for the space

What better place than Times Square for a family Hard Rock experience? With a reservation for 5 pm on Black Friday, we were seated within five minutes while they were quoting two hours to walk-ins. It was so much fun to be seated among the memorabilia with music blaring and videos playing on screens everywhere. The food was decent - we stuck to basic burgers, fries and chicken tenders. Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe Times Square made for a great end to a quintessential New York day.

Bad experience. The waiters inflated the amount of the tip on the credit card receipt. Be careful when writing the amount make sure it is not editable. My $15 became $45.

It had gluten free...... Basically thought I was going to order some GF pizza to the hotel and then didn't want to wait. I donyknow time's square well as usually avoid, so ended up at hard rock as it was right near us. Overpriced, overly loud music. The Margarita comes with terrible Tequila so make sure to either not drink or pay for better tequila.

Quite possibly the worst chicken sandburger I have ever had! It tasted like it was over cooked yesterday and they reovercooked it today! Service was greqt but the food wasn't!

Decided to come here for tea. Was told we had a 40 min wait but we were seated within 10 mins. Good selection of food. Not overly expensive compared to some NY eateries. Waitress really friendly, remembered all our orders. Refillable drinks. All in all a good experience.

The Hard Rock Cafe is so fun and iconic. The food was good-- maybe even better than I expected. I had a basic chicken sandwich with fries. I ordered a coke and the waitress brought me a refill without my asking. The staff was really awesome-- super friendly. If you have never done the Hard Rock Cafe "thing," you won't be disappointed by visiting this one.

We like to visit a Hard Rock Cafe in the city we are visiting so NYC was no exception. We ordered nachos and onion rings. Our server was so friendly and attentive and we enjoyed our food and looking at all the memorabilia.

Excellent quality is guaranteed. The particular location is always pleasant and, given the prices of NY, eating at Hard Rock is not even too expensive: what more could you want? Better make a reservation.

Usual standard fare, ok food. However very little memorabilia in the seating area in front of the stage and I've heard louder music in a library. 2 small videos screens that I had to twist my neck to watch. We don't go to the HRC for food we go for the loud music, memorabilia and music videos.

When we arrived at our table, an employee greeted us aggressively, telling us that next time we should be more considerate to the workers for having arrived at 11 a.m., this being the time at which they had reserved the table for us. Incomprehensible treatment when we made the reservation through the internet on the platform enabled for it. In the end another employee treated us kindly but we felt bad about the reception through no fault of ours. The rating is based on the treatment of this employee since the dinner was not bad.

It’s not the HRC I knew. There’s no videos, the screens are gone. Music we are listening to is Sirrius FM. No life to this place anymore. They didn’t even put on any sports games at the bar. The food and service was okay. The hurricane was weak. And the cost of our meals was not worth the experience

I booked a table here for 6:30 pm. Upon arrival, I found that I’d booked the wrong day. Rather than being turned away, we were welcomed in as shown directly to a table. We got there pretty much the right time because after that the queue was very long and the waiting timesprolonged. Good service and the meal came very quickly and tasted delicious. Great atmosphere with great music. Not too bad pricing wise either.

On a quick weekend visit to NY with my sister and nephew, we came here twice! My sister is a vegetarian, my 15 year old nephew is a human garbage disposal, and I'm on Weight Watchers. There are plenty of choices for all! Lanita, our server during our 2nd visit, had brain teasers, jokes, and a fabulous personality that made our experience so fun! Definitely recommend!

Famous and mythical hard rock cafe. An iconic and friendly place. We just came for a drink and the place is cool, warm. A very good atmosphere, the waiter was cool and smiling with us, always laughing. A good time here
A tale of two plates. No pride in their food.
Have been to Hard Rock Cafes before and have enjoyed our visits. However after our visit to Times Square one, I will not be back. They are just interested in getting as many people through each night, and their tips, rather than the quality of their food etc. My husband and I had the same dish and he enjoyed his mine was poor. My steak had a layer of fat/ gristle down long side, mashed potatoes cold with lumps of whole potatoes and beans which were cold, damp and brown. My husband's plate, hardly. Any fat, proper mashed potatoes (cold) and vibrant green beans. The contrast must have been obvious to kitchen and waiter. Staff going through motions but quick to highlight the tips bit on receipt. Yes I got offered more beans, yes I should have sent it back, but really it should never have been served with old damp Brown Beans.
