I know...I'm in NYC and I don't want to leave for dinner...well yea, it happens. Thankfully Harold's had a great menu and was very good - so sometimes staying in is the best decision.

Arlo SoHo, Art SoHo, Harolds - visited 8/2-8/6/2021 I’m returning to Arlo SoHo and Art SoHo this week for the 6th time since June. It’s official: I live here now. After years of traveling to NYC, Arlo SoHo is the only place I’ll stay now and it’s really because of the staff. You are a wonderful, dedicated team who go above and beyond to create memorable customer experiences. Now, staying at Arlo is like visiting family. Thank you for that. Everyone is kind, upbeat, hardworking, and attentive, and there are several people who have consistently made my visits memorable: Terrell, Paul, and Razel -you have architected iconic moments for me this summer that rival some of my most legendary NY memories, and I cannot thank you enough. Anthony, Amaris, and Kelly are top-knotch, welcoming, accomplished managers. Meliodas, Mike, and Yana bring Art SoHo’s bar scene and cocktail menu to life. Mateo and Jonathan are next-level bar-backs, seriously fantastic at what they do. Zula and Kimberly are my go-to wait staff when I’m having an event, party, or fun evening out. They are attentive, engaging, and so personable that by the end of your evening, you will want them to join you. Gabriela, Sophia, Tyler, Jelly, Roxana, Danny (JDR), Danny, Moises, Timothy, Charles, Enrique, Mounir, all stand out; and behind the scenes are the super-attentive runners-Omar, Akil, Mohi, Islam, Masud, and Gerardo- who help make visits to Harolds and Art SoHo seem effortless. Thank you for everything you do. For visitors, I highly recommend staying here. The hotel is in a perfect location at the crossroads of SoHo and Tribeca; an easy 15-20 minute walk to the Financial District; and within walking distance of hundreds of restaurants and shops in SoHo, Tribeca, and the West Village. Rooms are small but well appointed. I’ve stayed easily for a week, working in the rooms, and have not had any issues. Quiet rooms, stable WiFi. Courtyard rooms are quieter but street-facing rooms have better views. There are also rooms with terraces and outdoor showers. There is something for most preferences, so choose your own adventure. There are also several lounge and co-working areas on the first and second floors, including an outdoor deck overlooking the courtyard. The on-site restaurant, Harolds, and the first floor lounge, Lobby Bar, are undergoing renovations. The vision sounds exciting (thank you Gary!). But no need to worry, Harolds’ food is still available in the courtyard, via room service, and on the rooftop lounge, Art SoHo. For a quick snack, burst of caffeine, bottle of bubbly, or the motherlode of candy, the bodega adjacent to the front desk is your go-to move when you don’t feel like leaving the hotel. Oh, did I mention Art SoHo, the rooftop lounge? It has swoon-worthy views of the NY & NJ skylines and the Hudson River; sofa-seating for private parties (Ive hosted 1 or 2 or 3, but who’s counting?), high top tables, and an outdoor bar. Come for the cocktails, stay for the IG-ready sunset views. But make reservations because it’s busy all week. Inside, the bar is the highlight (IMHO). The black granite bar literally gleams and reflects ambient light, the bottles have a skyline backdrop and great backlighting, and there are leather bar stools you can sit in comfortably. No posing or perching here. There’s also sofa seating for indoor parties. The cocktail menu is good and has a few worthwhile adventures. I recommend the Arlo Margarita-at least twice; the Negroni, and a watermelon drink that one of my BFFs enjoyed. For food, definitely try the double cheeseburger, the healthy Cobb, any pizza, and the wings. Again: choose your own adventure. A big shout-out to the GM Cordell Nelson and the Arlo, Harolds, and Art SoHo management teams. They are responsive to customers and respected by staff. That’s as important to me as the experience of staying in the hotel. All summer Arlo SoHo was my home-base for my NYC adventures and I’m looking forward to new adventures in the Fall & Winter seasons. D.

I was a guest at the hotel and opted to eat breakfast there (since I did not book with hotel directly, breakfast was not included ) - the ambience is great, confortable and hip like the hotel. Friendly staff, good coffee and very good quality food offered. Variety was somehow limited but, again, all the food that I tried was of very good quality

We had dinner for two at the restaurant. The veggie burger was ok, nothing really special. But the Mac&cheese was super good. The bar is a great option if you want something more relaxed, they have a nice wine selection and the ambiance is very nice. The place is very new, but worth to give it a chance. Service was good, fast and friendly. Good price for what you get.

We were four adults looking for some where to have lunch. By chance we came across Harold’s Meat & Three. A blistering hot day in New York and this restaurant proved to be an excellent watering hole. Due to the heat of the day we were looking for a light meal and this proved to be just what we hoped for. Indeed we were further served with complementary sections of cinnamon bun prior to our meal and complementary ice creams after our meals. All in all a most enjoyable visit in pleasant surroundings with excellent service.

Stopped for lunch in Soho. This place has an,outside entrance on Rennick and also through the Arlo Soho Hotel. 4 had lunch and no complainants. The flat bread pizza was best I have ever had. The chix club was too much to eat. Came with fries and coleslaw. Our server was attentive and helpful with suggestions.

Ajoining the Arlo, which is a great micro Hotel. Superb service and very fresh tasty modern food. Good for mid size groups as well. Very bright and airy.

Great, straightforward food selection. Nice, warm service. Well executed dishes. Amazing desserts. Nice interior design

The location is sort of an out of the way spot off Canal st, it's walkable from various subway lines though. The concept is as it says, a main and 3 sides. The sides were great - broccoli & rice casserole, pan grilled spinach butternut squash, all 3 of us had brussel sprout salad. Pimento cheese was very southern and all meats were great - chicken & dumplings very savory, hanger steak decent portion and cooked just right as well as spit roasted lamb It felt a little pricey but it's New York - if you need southern food fix go here!

Its a cute little spot, I had a great cheeseburger for dinner (apparently theyre known for this) but I had a buffet breakfast as I was staying in the attached hotel, and it was so expesnive and very disappointing. Anyway its OK just wouldnt go out of my way to eat here. Coffee is good

We stayed at the Arlo SOHO and Harold's Meat + Three is connected to the hotel. We had such a great stay at the hotel and were hoping the restaurant would keep up with the same chic as well as quality. Walking in and being greeted by a cheery hostess, Harold's Meat + Three is an open & airy space. We're seated close to the kitchen. The space is so open I can see the refrigerator with whole chickens marinating on beer cans. I am "Mr Southern" and I'm gearing myself up to the fried chicken I read about from past reviews. We're given brunch menus, I see as a menu choice the "German Pancake"?? It takes 15 minutes to prep?! I'll come back for the chicken, I want this pancake! My wife ordered an egg white omelet with 3 toppings. (Hence the +3) Her omelet? I think there was more +3 than eggs! It was a really good and chef'd up omelet. Even the toast was high end, she was served sourdough. While I'm waiting for this German pancake, the chef sent over two homemade Cinnabuns. I'm drinking some quality coffee, fresh baked goods from the chef, I love this place! Finally, my German pancake comes to me and man its sooooo good. Its huge, there is no way I can finish this bad boy. It's fluffy, large and in charge. I loved the fruit compote and fresh maple syrup. I was in the zone, taking a pancake piece, some compote and syrup. No 3 breakfast meats are needed, this big mamma was a breakfast treat. I'll come back for the fried chicken. For now, I have met the Harold's Meat + Three German pancake. I loved it as well as the great brunch I had over the weekend. Harold's Meat + Three, I highly recommend a visit.

We were disappointed to see Harold get shut out of Commerce Restaurant by a rent dispute. Now, he has emerged with this trendy spot on the lower West Side. The concept is new for NYC - pick a main course and any three appetizers for one price. My roast beef slice was large, tender, and tasty. The sides of mac and cheese, spinach and artichoke hearts were well prepared. Harold's signature cocoanut layer cake was it's usual decadent self. We shall return.

We had a great time with our bar tender. We got great service from him and enjoyed visiting with him.

Had dinner here on a December evening with my wife and daughter. Fabulous food, amazing service. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent food and pleasant wait staff. Food came promptly once we ordered accompanied by Chef's extras

this place was great ate here a couple of times. On the last night of our stay the chef was very rude and abrupt to us when we asked if we could have crushers to eat our lobster he was intimidating and would not have done this if a male was at our table. After reading reviews about this chef he is known for being rude and having his restaurants close . Will never eat here again

the service is excellent and the waiters and waitresses very nice a pleasant place to sit in a little bit like a train station dining r hall, nice atmosphere though and there is home made bead like bread that you can eat. like a cookie if you orderi a main dish you could have three side dishes .depends what you want .they Zalsohave vegetarian meals including veggie burger.

Excellent breakfast buffet called "NY Continental." At first $19 seems pricey, but it is much more than bread, fruit, and coffee. Loved the frittata, and the fruit bar had the most amazing raspberries and other fruits along with excellent yogurt. Great NY bagels. Plenty of refills on coffee. My only quibble would be with the wide-mouthed cups in which it is served. It cools too fast, and servers pour from thermoses instead of a pot that is kept heated, which sometimes makes it less than piping hot to start with. I ate the buffet several mornings. Sometimes the waiter was friendly and attentive; others seemed to dally with getting out new setups instead of getting the coffee refill I had asked for.

I was a huge fan of Commerce Restaurant until it closed, but, have no fear. Those marvelous "sides" are back. I had lunch here recently, and am glad it was at my leisure, since the service is painfully sloooow. The portions, while extremely small, were delicious and filling. We had to ask the waiter about dessert (birthday cake or coconut cake were the only options). The fried chicken was okay, and the mac and cheese very good.

I was staying at the hotel and it was raining heavily so I decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. I expected overpriced "ho-hum "food. What I got was an amazingly diverse southern cooking menu. I had chicken and dumplings to die for an a basket of biscuits that momma couldn't make. After the meal, They brought a free desert that was wonderful. The only thing better than the food was the staff; wonderfully trained and super friendly. We would go back if it wasn't raining!

Stayed at the Arlo Soho for business. Dinner at Harold's was very good. I had the roast chicken and it was delicious. We started with the Mezze platter which was fresh, and overall tasty. It felt like a home cooked meal with a modern twist. The food was cooked to order, so prepare for a wait (we ordered the Mezze to start). Nice portions, great service.

Loved their greek iogurt with honey. Coffee is delicious too!! We had dinner one day. Bit pricey, but food was good.

This is part of the Arlo Soho Hotel and is a nice little place on the side of the hotel that offer a restricted menu that is however very fine for a quick snack. We just came here at around 10pm after arriving at the hotel. Service is great (very friendly and personable) the glass of wine chilled and our little plates perfect (my grilled octopus very very tasty!)

Really disappointed with this establishment, we reserved a table for thanksgiving despite a few bad previous reviews but I can now see why it currently has a bad reputation! We arrived in a timely manner for our table and as soon as we got through the door it went down hill. We were greeted by rude door staff who took our reservation details and told us to go and wait in the ‘lounge’. When our party of six went through to this area we instantly doubted if we would actually get a table at all. We went to the bar where the staff had the audacity to charge us $18 for a drink that was served in a plastic glass. After 45 mins of waiting and chatting to people that had been waiting for over a hour and a half another member of staff turned up to ask for our reservation details again. We decided to leave 45 mins after this as there was still at least 40 people in front of us still all hungry and waiting to be seated. I spoke to a member of staff upon leaving to say we no longer require our table due to the terrible organisation that was going on to which there reply was basically ok go away then. I understand thanksgiving is a busy time for all restaurants but don’t accept twice as many reservations than your actual capacity and you wouldn’t of ruined everyone’s evening. On the whole if you wanted to be treated like like pond scum then by all means try this place, if you wanted to be treated like an actual person then just avoid this place for at least a few months till the management realise what a jerks they have employed to run their restaurant and fire him.

This place has all you need for breakfast on the go or a breakfast business meeting, good atmosphere. There are nicer places around the neighborhoods though

Avoid eating here if you can. Harold's will work if no other options are open in the neighborhood. Prices are ridiculous for the quality of the food.

I am used to paying New York prices for food. But this was ridiculous. $25 for the smallest cheeseburger I've seen--think of those dollar-menu McDonald's cheeseburgers. Never again. Don't bother with this place

There for Thanksgiving dinner. The food is meadioc at Best. But they over booked and we waited one and a half hours with a reservation. Others waited over two hours for party's of four. Just not worth it.

Ate here several times throughout my stay! Never disappointed! Great place to go on a date or just eat and relax.

So I stayed at the Arlo and had breakfast here. At first I had my doubts. Trendy looking but unclear on quality and value of product. But all in all I left very satisfied. They were clear about pricing (not cheap but decent for NYC standards); the buffet wasn't huge but had thoughtful spreads of fruits, eggs / meats, and breads. The coffee included with the breakfast is quite good (espresso and fresh juices extra). But the most memorable aspect is the quality of the ingredients. Think perfectly ripe avocados; crisp fruit;individually jarred whipped butter and cream cheese; etc. I would suggest that they cook the banquet style eggs a bit further. Other than that I would gladly go back again. No experience on lunch or dinner but for breakfast definitely a thumbs up.

There were 5 of us there for drinks and dinner the other night. We LOVED this place. It's beautiful and fun and the concept is funky. David, our waiter, was on top of everything and a real asset. Everyone was terrific and friendly and helpful. And the food is amazing. Go for it and get that mac and cheese. Pure decadence. And the steaks and fried chicken as well. Just a great experience!

Yummy comfort food. Burger, Flatbread, bread and desserts. Attentive service. Some of the entrees were a little expensive if you just wanted a quick bite after a day in the city. What we had was not overpriced.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Staff and service were very good.No cash. Credit card and room charge only. Kind of odd. Problems with staff theft? Or, is this the new thing?

Ate there just before 11pm on Friday. Although the kitchen was closing shortly we were not rushed, had a well paced dinner with excellent service and wonderful food. The butternut squash and mac'n cheese are both fantastic and well above average. For a restaurant that is newly opened they are killing it. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Visited this restaurant when staying in the adjacent hotel. Food is very nice and reasonably priced. Had one of the best BLT's in my entire life. Staff is very friendly.

The resturant is very nice and we were greeted by a very nice young gentlemen who seated us very promptly. He quickly got us settled ina t our table and orovided water until our server arrived. We ordered drinks and a two starter items. After 15 minutes ahd passed and our drinks had not arrived my daughter inquired about them. The server said the bar was busy, this could have been the case but there were only about 10 people in the resturant at that time. When the drinks arrived we asked about the starters and were told they should be right out. When our meals arrived so did the starters which was the kitchens fault according to the server. She server never came back to ask how our food was prepared or if we wanted anything else. We eventually asked the manager if we could get more drinks. The food was very good and creative. I enjoyed the build your own bowl and everyone in our party of four had good things to say about the food. The Manager was very understanding of our complaint and made an adjustment to our bill to make up for the inconvenience. We all plan to go back again and give it another try.

Bartender and waitress that served me did an excellent job to help me through hangover symptoms. Can't wait to stay at the Arlo and visit Harold's again! Will be back!

The other half rated the burger as good as those at Nicole's wedding (Nicole's dad is a chef and the family know about meat). Other half is a fussy eater and tried the Japanese Sweet Potatoes as one of his three, and liked. I am a vegetarian and surprisingly for a restaurant with meat in the title, lots of choice for vegetarians. I had the burger, no idea what was in it, I am guessing quinoa, completely different to any veggie burger I have ever had, very light on the palate and healthy and nutritious tasting. The broccolini is yum, try it!

Good choice, clean and good service from servers. Fresh fruit and veg. Only recommendation is to have some sort of music etc on to cheer the room up a little. it can be a bit quiet for the breakfast run.

We visited here not long after we arrived in New York! The food was excellent as well as the service. We had the hotdogs which were delicious and the chicken club sandwich. Excellent service all round! Lovely cold beer and chilled white wine!

So excited to eat here, great atmosphere, the food was good except you may pass out from hunger given it took an hour and 10 mins for our order to arrive. Customer service is not a high priority at this restaurant, front of house were not apologetic and offered one solution to our complaint that we had been waiting an hour, to cancel our order. No adjustment was made to the bill and Chef Harold refused to come and speak to us about our complaint despite being on the restaurant floor speaking to other tables. So disappointing, don't bother making the effort to go here.

Surprised by the quality. A bit noisy but corner table works. Food good. Wine a bit pricey, but we had a good meal. Service was very appropriate

Hotel offers a Happy Hour at Harold's. Service is excellent and steak was delicious! Also had yummy wings and little gem salad.

The interior design, furniture and music are great for a lunch place. The service, cleanness and food quality leave quite a bit to be desired (or expected).

This is a tight ship run by Gary. The food and bev guy with a beautiful team of dedicated guys ... Jordan Lynn, Lula, akil, luke, emaad, mohi... So impressed ... I have lived in Arlo for six weeks and they made it more than home for me. Guys avoid tourist traps and just come here . Its like home. Clean, efficient, delicious and above all sincerely welcoming. Love it . Thank you Harold's team.

This place was around the corner from where we were staying so we decided to give it a go without reviewing trip advisor first. We certainly not dissapointed. The steak was amazing! I can't recall eating a more juicy and tender rump steak so well sesoned you didn't need any condiments to enhance it's flavour. While the steak was a little pricey but it was about 450 grammes!. You did get to choose from 3 sides at no charge. There is about 15 side dishes to choose from. My wife and i ordered 6 different sides and all were very good. The meals are generously sized. So it does represent quite good value. If you can fit it in, order the coconut cake. It is really good. Staff were at first a little of the stifled side but as you warm to your impending meal tje staff also become relaxed making the experience very pleasing. The staff overall are very efficient and knowledgeable. The meal will take up to 40 minutes as the food is individually prepared to each order. The wine beer list is quote decent. But ask for the availability or certain beverages as some things mentioned on the menu. A really good meal.

We really enjoyed it here, the food was cooked nicely and the staff were very helpful and friendly, next time we are in New York we will come back to the Harold

Let me say that the food is good. A shame because we will NEVER go back. We visited this spot just a few blocks from our home and will relate what happened, and you be the judge. First off seated by a friendly young lady that sat us quickly upon entering. The waiter while friendly had no sense of what was on the menu. I asked numerous questions, here are 3 exchanges. Me: "What exactly are the hand rolled noddles"? Waiter: They are noddles that have been hand rolled (I am not kidding that's what he said). Me: "OK well how are they served"? Waiter: "well they are cooked in chicken stock" Me "OK are they served with a gravy or dry" Waiter" well yea they are wet" (not kidding, that was his description "wet noodles") Me: Like a soup? Waiter: "I wouldn't say that" I GAVE UP...NEXT Me: OK what exactly are the Japanese Sweet Potatoes, are they fried? Waiter: NO they are served like the Butter Nut Squash (the fact that I had no way of knowing how the Butter Nut Squash was served didn't seem to be of concern LOL Me: OK well how is the Butter Nut Squash served? Waiter: Oh its baked, that's it baked, again I gave up Waiter, how is the friend chicken served...how many pieces and is it battered Waiter: Its a half of chicken battered. I ordered the Fried Chicken, the hand rolled noddles (took a shot), grits and mac and cheese. When the chicken came I could not find the drumstick, but silly me it was there, it was just so small (literally about the size of my thumb) that I though it was the wing drummet...the half chicken was ridiculous small...OK I didn't ask if it was a normal sized chicken, my bad. The hand rolled noodles were less than a table spoon (pic attached)...it was so small I called over the floor manager (easy to spot he was missing one hand) and asked if that was an actual portion...his answer: "well they are hand rolled". Well yea that's what they are called, but why is the portion so small. His answer was to stare at me...no words just stared. Now at ANY other normal restaurant he would of asked if I would like something else, NOPE just a blank star. At that point I said, "well thanks for your answer" and he walked away. He then proceeded to relate what I had said to a woman I would I think was the manager "she looked straight at me and then through me making it obvious he was talking about me. I tried to catch her eye and she looked away with a scowl (yes I know what a scowl is) NO one came over to the table to try and at least rectify the situation, just a total attitude by all. We finished our food and left. I will never go back...again a shame because we live 3 blocks away and the food was actually good... I could accept the insultingly small portions, but not an attitude from the staff.

Great southern style food great for family style table. Try the steak Love the entire design and neon look.

We called well in advance to book for our first Thanksgiving dinner in the US and the restaurant was a mess. Queues of people who all had reservations, waiting for well over an hour and still no food or service. It was absolute mayhem. This is an important meal for many, a real special occasion, and it was ruined by the restaurant's greediness in overbooking way beyond their capacity. Sheer greed. Do not go here!

Great value, great food, great service! Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere! Grilled octopus is a must have.

Wonderful comfort food, lots of choice, all well prepared. Large variety between high calorie, nutritionally vacuous delicious food, to healthy, inventive and au courant interesting stuff. Loud and full of action, great salad bar.

We stayed at the Arlo Soho & ate breakfast lunch & dinner on some days in Harold’s . Delicious food & lovely friendly helpful staff - good portions & attentive service . The Atlantic salmon was lovely as was the Cobb salad

Had the best dinner here! The ravioli w sweet potato and burned butter - yum, then had seabass with spring vegetables and potato pure - very very nice. They didn't have Redymad lemonade so they made that for me. Nice place.

The restaurant is attached to a great outdoor space that they seem to change on a seasonal basis - you can get food out there too. Food is a good mix of American comfort food and healthier alternatives. Also really good options for plant-based diners.

I really enjoyed the food here and my gripe with the wait rule is not that big a deal really. A group of 8 of us came here for dinner on a Sat night with a reservation and we decided to just go with the group meal plan (I can't remember what option it was) and that provided more than enough food for all of us. It all tasted great and provided enough options for all of us to trying something different. So my only real issue was upon our arrival. Since we arrived in 2 separate groups of 4, the hostess would not seat us to the table until everyone was there. Mind you there were plenty of tables available and instead asked us to go to the bar (which is not very big to begin with) and since none of us were drinking, it felt rather ridiculous. I don't have an issue waiting for the entire party to be present before being seated if the restaurant is full but at the time we went it wasn't even half full. Otherwise I'd likely come back here again. I'll just make sure we all arrive at the same time.

we stayed at the hotel upstairs so we came for pre-show light dinner. CHicken wings were amazing, as were the biscuits they sent to the table. flat breads and octopus were ok too, but if you are going there, get the chicken wings.

Normally for business, I stay at Marriott’s. This time, due to the closeness to my meeting point, I stayed at Arlo Soho which is the hotel of which Harold’s is part of. You have to love the bar, the Happy Hour from 5:30 to 7:00 and the breakfast. I had other delicacies like chicken noodle soup, which cured my cold, at Harold’s and during my entire stay, I did not go elsewhere for food. The bar is very communicative and the service was great.

Best Southern food that i have had in NYC. Manager makes it a point to come see you and the chef even visited us this past time..

Casual dining is the go here. Friendly staff, good food and pretty well priced. Bar also has a good selection of wines and spirits. HM3 Breakfast is a neat meat feast but u can go light as well. Plenty to choose from no matter what ur taste preferences are!

All three meals we had at Harolds were amazing!!! Obsessed with the Cheeseburger and the table side prime rib!!

The breakfast salad bar was still open when I went in for brunch. You can't screw up raw fruit but they managed to muck it up. Cantaloupe and strawberries were bitter. The egg white omelette was decent.

This may not be the sort of place you'd go for a cheeseburger, but I was on business and was in the burger mood. Happy I did, it was an incredible cheeseburger, large fresh "steak" fried, coleslaw and cucumber salad came with it. I was full. On top of that, fee dessert. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is modern and clean. Nice place.

There is too choice a meat and three (eggs as it is breakfast) and three sides or continental, the single orders are lush! And big! Continental, which is not like you London toast and jam, oh no.. Fresh fruit, fritata, bagels, toast, i loved the macha Chia-seed pudding, there is oat meal, overnight oats and that's only bits of it. The deco is modern style diner/home kitchen. The service was great the host spoke both mandarin, swedish/danish, german and english. Would defo come back and recommend!

Even at 11 o'clock the waiters are cheerful, the foods are delicious, the beer is cold and there are many types of whiskey. They give the "best ever" scrambled eggs for breakfast.

The service was somewhat slow for a Monday morning however the food and sides were all worth the wait.

Harold's is an excellent hotel restaurant, much better than most. My pasta was well prepared and a well thought out dish that you would expect to see in a local Italian restaurant, not in a hotel restaurant. Staff was great.

We are not usually fans of restaurants inside of hotels but HMT was undoubtedly an exception. Really cool eclectic decor and very bright with lots of windows. Service was about average but it seemed the servers we interacted with were pretty green. The menu is super diverse and everyone's meal was fantastic. Drinks were okay but they too seemed to be prepared by someone that was not a pro bartender. Great food in a great atmosphere. We would go back for brunch and to try another meal.

We had our first diner in NY here because it was close to our hotel and we were tired the first night. Very good leg of lamb with three different very nice side dishes to be chosen from a long list of options. A glass of Rioja for 16 dollar is quite expensive. Friendly and efficient service.

Food was so good especially their avocado toast. Crafted cocktails were well prepared and were delicious.

Had the Cobb Salad for lunch, which was wonderful with avocado and nuts. Just delicious. Service was just great, so friendly and accommodating. Even the bread and butter was great. The space in Arlo Hotel is high ceilings and an outdoor seating. Would recommend checking it out.

Interesting concept but good for a late night eat! The new bartender was sweet and attentive. Cute and trendy!

I had dinner at Harold's on two nights. First was the lamb shank and the next night was chicken. Both were delicious! Also, the bread that's served with the meals was excellent. While hardly inexpensive, the dinners were a good value. I also had breakfast there for two mornings. While good and ample, it is very overpriced.

We've been to NYC a few times and thought this was part of the other Harolds boutique restaurant near Radisson Martinique. Not at all and after chatting with the staff this "meat + 3" is one of a kind. And we were not disappointed whatsoever. I was with my daughter visiting NYC fashion week. We both had the salad bar starter as we'd just arrived and didn't really want to have a heavy meal. Mains was lobster and chicken BC it roast which arrived with the obligatory 3 sides! Too much. Both dishes were amazing and the service was excellent. We opted to leave the wine choice with the sommelier who chose a white that was a delight. Please ask her to choose your wine you will not be disappointed. The service was impeccable and attention to details was faultless. We really had a good mean and with great service. Please make a point of visiting this place when you're in NYC you will not be disappointed.

Terrible. Don’t expect to get a table even if you reserve. Then don’t expect to get a drink or any kind of apologies for the fact that a room full of people are not being sat down and have been waiting hours for a table. AVOID!

Came here to get a small breakfast and the highlight was the biscuit! Its complimentary but wow one of the best biscuits ever. The pancakes were good too, but too expensive.

Had dinner and a couple of drinks and it was sensational, staff amazing food perfect. Cane down for a light breakfast but everything was sensational and only $24. Came from an upper east side hotel to this gem, won’t go back up there! Well done Harold’s! You won’t be disappointed, a real NYC feel, love it.

I got in late, ordered onsite and ended up eating here every day. the octupus salad, sea bass and roasted veg, roasted chicken were stellar.

perfect for an evening burger or some bites to share with a good drink. Good meat and very nice design

Such a beautiful hotel, but such a bad restaurant, never go there! Never. If you come, there will be no people, you will be alone and all the employees will stare at you and go around you like crazy. We sat near the open kitchen that smelled really bad. The prices on food are unreasonably high for smallest portions and kids menus has a bad choice. If you have another plans for the evening, another place to eat, please, go there. I strongly recommend you not to go to HMT and not to waste your money in vain.

The bar staff was excellent and Yana was an absolute delight to talk to. The atmosphere encouraged making new friends.

Having to endure being stuck in the Arlo hotel during the Winter Bomb Cyclone. We had dinner on all three nights of our stay and it was faultless. Great menu offering a variety of dishes and the chef was very accommodating with some allergies that my business colleagues had. Service was quick and really friendly, and nothing was too much hassle. It did really feel like we were in a neighbourhood restaurant rather than downtown New York city. Thank you for looking after us so well and a big thank you to the chef and his team. We will be back...

Wonderful service, good food and even a few extra surprises (a to die for Cinnamon Bun and mini ice cream cones compliments of the chef)

while staying at the arlo hotel, we had breakfast in the hotels restaurant. Its basically a buffet with a nice choice of things (bagels, bacon, sausages, fruits, different kind of eggs, fruits, cereals, yoghurt and so on. Very attentive and helpful staff.

After a full day of travel, I ate in the hotel based restaurant and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food! The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.

The name says it all. You get a meat entree and three sides. We have dined there several times, and have always had a satisfying and tasty meal. Don't let the three sides scare you, portion sizes are not too big--it is NYC after all.
Excellent food, even better service
This is the restaurant located within the Arlo Hotel. Excellent food. Service is even better. Checked into hotel and was advised kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. Harold's took me in, no complaints and even accomodated a special request. Very thankful for the great service.
