Brunched with DR friends who have come here for years. It did not disappoint. Huge portions (even the paper coffee cups are on the large side)! Have a brunch menu and a menu covering lots and lots of offerings. Fast service; food prepared almost in front of you. You owe it to yourselves to stop here. We were here after touring the Mother Cabrini Shrine.

Staying at an AirBnB in Washington Heights, this was our starting point everyday, our base for a breakfast to keep you going on a long sightseeing day in NYC. Everything we ate was delicious and in generous portions. Also they have some sort of deals if you want a big and inclusive meal (the Hungry Man if I remember correctly was one of those!!), big enough for sharing in some cases. Staff are very friendly and the place is right next to the subway station!

Hudson view is a nice spot to relax, have a cup of coffee solo or with friends. I highly recommend their burger deluxe. They have free coffee refills and breakfast is awesome! Convenient/quiet place. Drop by.

Been coming here for years and is a favorite of mine, conveniently situated by the 181st 'A' train stop on the corner of Ft. Washington Avenue. Chicken Pot Pie here is to die for. Huge portions of everything so much so one ends up with doggie bags to take home. Breakfast Special 'til 11 am Mon-Fri is a good deal also.

Dropped in for a coffee. Arrived within seconds and we never saw the bottom of the cup the whole time we were there! Lovely wait staff and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend you drop in!

This place is no frills. If you are seeking fancy, this is not the place. However, if you are seeking a good meal at a reasonable price, I suggest that you check this place out. The food was great and the service was attentive and personal. I felt like I was dinning with a good sitting in their kitchen.

I came with a local who I had met at Fort Tryon Park to shout him a beverage. He had given me a tour of Hudson Heights, introduced me to some locals, and helped me out enormously. From the moment we entered Hudson View restaurant it felt informal, warm, & friendly. It was the end of a great day. The people of Fort Washington/Washington Heights are great, hospitable people and this restaurant is a great place to stop by.

I can't imagine sending back eggs over easy, but I had to do it. Everything (potatoes, eggs, toast) tasted bad and stale. The eggs were undercooked. The server took the food back and cancelled my check, no questions asked. I was really hoping to have a nearby place for breakfast - Starbucks is too crowded.

This is the fourth restaurant on 181st St. where we've eaten during our stay, and we tried it twice, once late at night, then around lunch time. It's a diner on the corner across from the Metro stop, so very convenient for us, and it has an extensive menu. I looked for the chicken pot pie recommended in a Trip Advisor review, but it must have been a special. I had a Greek omelet with home fries for lunch--not as good as the one I had at Sugar Café (in Brooklyn), but very acceptable (a little bland). It had lots of lunch specials including soups (4 soups available). I tried my friend's lentil soup and liked it very much. It had lots of things besides lentils in it. My other lunch companion had eggs benedict, which looked very good. She seemed pleased with it. When we ate there late at night, we got desserts, and I don't remember them well. They do not sell beer or wine, which probably keeps the prices down. It's obviously got a lot of regulars, but was never crowded when we were there. The staff are attentive and efficient. What really impressed me when we ate there at lunch time was that when a homeless man came to the door, the owner took him a takeaway carton of soup. That's my kind of place.

Had a couple of great meals in here (Brunch and dinner) and loved it, staff were very friendly and the food was great, well worth dropping in if you are in the locality...

The restaurant and breakfast are neither fancy nor posh. Very typical American menu with breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, steak, just for everyone something all day long and at affordable prices. The staff is nice and fast, the breakfast typical American: huge, fast and very rich. Not for diet fanatics. But the right thing to do before a long day of sightseeing downtown.

I have eaten at the Hudson View numerous times, and find the establishment clean, friendly, and often busy (always a good indication of what the locals think of a place). The prices are fairly typical for this type of restaurant/diner, and the meals are generously proportioned and tasty (my favorite being the chicken quesadilla).

Very good food, decent prices. We recommend the French toast, waffles, eggs. The non pork bacon, sausage and other meats were great.

I order from there twice a omelette and it was really good plus they do delivery that's A + Great for families, friends and couples
