On our final day in New York, we stumbled across this place when looking for somewhere to have a quick lunch. We wish we had found it sooner! Reasonably priced good quality food. Great as a cafe for a coffee and cake or sandwich. At the same time, it was a restaurant where you could stay for a long lunch or evening meal with a glass of wine.

Discovered a bit by chance , good trattoria!Effective service, excellent homemade pizzas that reminded me of Rome!

Restaurant in Times Square, clean, wide choice for breakfast and lunch... very nice interior and fast Service... prices in line with New York, very good Italian pasta... highly recommended!

We went here every morning of our stay in NY Fresh croissants, excellent cappuccino, freshly squeezed juices, wide selection of sandwiches and savory and sweet pastries Don't miss the real Sicilian cannoli Friendly and helpful staff

Rich things for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks. Highly recommended. Pretty reasonable prices. Great location

The food was not wow. Okay prices but ordered carbonara and it tasted nothing at all. Boring fried bacon and tasteless. Good price for food and wine but nothing I would return to.

Walking distance from buzzing and crowded Times Square, this little piece of Italy is an absolute gem. Food is exceptionally good: real Italian recipes with genuine Italian ingredients. The host, Salvatore, makes you feel very welcome and ensures you have a great time.

Stopped by,for a before Bwy. Play, lunch> nice restaurant, limited menu, but great food+ reasonably priced! Cashie/Hostess> Cloud De Oh,(Cashier, forgive my spelling of your name),was very thoughtfull ,+helfful! We will be back! Thanks!

TOP TOP TOP!! Very nice atmosphere and everything is delicious! We were 8 and came out delighted. The manager is really nice! Thanks for the welcome, we will come back.

We were looking for a nice spot for a drink after shopping, I’m so glad we found that place! We ended up spending the whole night there, nice food nice staff nice atmosphere. 10/10

We needed something quick, simple and good value and walked past this restaurant and noticed it was quite busy and the food looked good. We came back a hour later and it was still busy so we thought all these people cant be wrong. The restaurant is clean and tidy and basically you go to the counter and order your food. You are then given a beeper and wait for your food to be freshly cooked and then you go to the serving point to collect. Service was easy at the counter and there is a good choice of pasta and pizza. We had the Bolognese Pasta and a Prosciutto and Burrata Pizza with two sparkling waters it all came to $59 dollars which is not cheap but considering the location and the standard of food was reasonable.

We're not gonna hide the fact that food in New York is not the best. Finding this place was a deliverance. The breakfasts are good, the pasta is good, the foccacia... and in addition the staff and the boss are very friendly.

I recommend this restaurant that makes pizzas with a real pizza taste, Italian. Desserts to fall on the ground... I went there with my daughter, after going to see a musical... And we both feasted, I recommend, the staff is super friendly.

Italian is the idea, not the substance. Approximate first in seasonings not corresponding to the real recipe, noisy and chaotic place, casual service, cleaning to the limit of allowed.

Wow… what a cafe. Stopped in randomly for breakfast and stumbled across a gem.. Warm Passteries and lovely Italian coffee.. Lovely and inviting service

We ate here in the afternoon, not bad but there are better options around. The pizza was good , the pasta carbonara really not good ( I also read in other reviews ). The pasta pomodoro was tasteless.

Ideal place for an informal evening. The pasta is good, with a good sauce and above all al dente. The pizza is decent, but in any case higher than the standards compared to similar places near Times Square. Friendly staff and clean location. Prices in the New York average. To be recommended.

Nice place to stop and eat in Midtown. Friendly staff, nice and clean place, good (Italian) dishes; if we consider where we are, the cuisine could be defined as excellent, but more due to the demerit of its competitors. The price, seen as an Italian, is very expensive but if we put it into context, it is not. However, a plate of pasta and a beer runs about $25, with orders at the register and without table service. If you are looking for a place for a romantic evening by candlelight with impeccable service, this is not the place but if you are hungry and want to avoid American fast food this is a qualitatively unparalleled alternative. Definitely recommended.

Eaten two salads and a pizza split in two. All very good, especially the dough leavened properly. Highly recommended, both for lunch and dinner, located a stone's throw from Times Square.

Really lite crust. I was able to dip the pizza in a spicy olive oil. The slice is a long square slab cut into two pieces. That is heated. Great experience!

A very affordable genuine Italian restaurant to take a family to. We had the Antipasto platter and for mains we had the carbonara, bolognese and regular tomato based pasta and all were excellent! I heard them speak Italian behind the counter, so that’s a positive for me. It had a good Italian vibe, it was -5oC outside, so all I would say is is that it could’ve been a little warmer inside compared to other venues we walked into. Other than that I don’t think anyone would be disappointed eating here.

Simply Terrible: bad food (insipid pasta) and very long wait (more than 1 hour). Highly discouraged.

If you are looking for an excellent breakfast, nice decoration, good salads or pizzas and sumptuous cannelloni especially with chocolate, welcomed by friendly owners, go no further, enter this establishment and enjoy

Italians in NYC in shortage of pasta and pizza? This is the place for you, aware that you are in New York and not in Italy...Pizza alla pala buona, honest pasta even if precooked pasta (but not hot) and sauces a little greasy. Anyway x us after hamburgers and fast food was a happy discovery! There is no Table Service and low average costs, the first ones start at $13. Council

We spotted this place on the passing, food in the window looked amazing. We had breakfast and dinner here, food and the service was 1st class. The staff very friendly and patient. Coffee is fantastic, Pasta dishes for dinner was delicious, especially when partnered with a nice Rose wine 🍷 Very busy in the evening, but you will get a table, worth waiting for Definitely worth a return visit Yvonne and Stuart Dalgety Bay Scotland

team leader was so arrogant so ironic so disrespectful. Sunday 18 May 8 PM. The food and the waiter, girl was so amazing. Thanks to her we eat food

Choice of pizzas, pastas and salads. On the 7th advance near Times Square in... Quieter. Good dishes and homemade desserts. Choice of wines by the glass (or bottle). Efficient and smiling service.

We walked by this spot the day prior to our visit and were enticed by beautiful choices in the window. Came for breakfast and were not disappointed! Excellent choices, delicious food, friendly service! Just what we were looking for in a late breakfast in a perfect setting. In a tourist location but not at all food for tourists Choose the stools by the window - perfect for people watching. Highly recommend.

Great food low prices for New York friendly and great staff especially samantha and espresso top and delicious as in Italy

Very tasty, comforting, home made italian food 👍 Cosy, modern with a twist, environment👍 In a touristic spot but not at all food for tourists Choose the stools by the window, watching the people go by, nice passatiempo. All over experience, Grazie!

My wife and I were looking for a place to have lunch after a great walk through Central Park, and walking down 7th Avenue we came across the striking window of this Italian restaurant. It was on Saturday, May 18, around four in the afternoon. I say striking showcase because it is very well presented, there are samples of pizzas, paninis, etc.; and we want to go inside and eat! We were served by a very friendly waiter (a rare thing in New York), his name I think was Eric, he asked us where we were from and the good man made the effort to speak to us in Spanish because he knew a little bit. We ordered a salad, a spring pizza and a couple of Moretti beers. The price, for Manhattan, was good, and the food was great. Beer, as always, expensive (it is the dominant trend in New York). The music was at the right volume and the atmosphere was very good.

A beautiful address close to Time Square. Home made with fresh produce and taste on the plate 🔛 We find all the flavors of Italy 🇮🇹 Top service with attentive employees and a very friendly French boss ✅

Congratulations on a carbonara and a bolognese overseas. Satisfied with the room, the service and the seriousness of the managers. Recommendation and will return for sure.

We ordered 2x Rigatoni Bolognese with one drink each. The Bolognese is delicious, could be a little more. Average waiting time in the afternoon. The price was ok for 7th Avenue.

Quiet place, good service, excellent options on the menu. wonderful pasta dish! Part of the square but run away from the crowd. Prices a little more affordable than the options in the “center” of the square and believe that much more tasty and service without rush. I'll be back!

Friendly staff, great croissant and one of the best cappuccinos i've ever tasted. It's definitely a place to recommend

Small but welcoming, it is a good trattoria where Italian taste is well highlighted, in the flavors, in the ingredients of meals and in the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. Absolutely recommended, for a pleasant dinner that stands out in the chaotic culinary scene of New York ☺️

Great place for anyone who wants to have Italian cuisine, with efficient staff, at reasonable prices in a cozy atmosphere near Times Square.

Very nice place Italian products Homemade Quality French friendliness and yes the boss is very friendly and smiling French let yourself be tempted I recommend

Excellent address. The homemade food was really delicious and the staff very welcoming. We warmly recommand this place.

Quite expensive and very small quantity. Not bad but I don't recommend it for poor value for money. Opt for a more family-friendly space if you are going as a family

We ate here twice during our 7 day stay in New York. A very well run, clean, friendly and welcoming little Italian restaurant. A different set up to most places where you order at the counter, take your cutlery to your table along with your drinks, and you are given a little gadget to take with you. When it lights up and vibrates, your food is ready and you go collect it from the hot plate. The penne arribiatta I had both times was some of the best pasta I've ever had. It was packed both times so obviously is well know and successful. Highly recommend this restaurant on 7th Avenue

I stop for dinner because from the outside it seems like a very nice and welcoming place. I order a pizza and I must say that I'm amazed. It's excellent for being in New York. I continue with a coffee and it's also very good. The only disappointment is the cannoli but it can be there.

Great find. We stumbled upon this gem after a busy day/ evening. Friendly staff & excellent food. Reasonable price point & definitely worth a visit!

A beautiful address close to Time Square. Breakfast with fresh produce: croissant, orange juice. Our morning canteen for 4 days. Tested also for dinner: pizzas and very good pasta. A very friendly French boss with attentive employees who make an effort to understand us. Go ahead without hesitation
An Awful Customer Experience
The food does not taste as good as it looks. I work nearby. I pass this restaurant on my way to work every day. They put food in the windows to entice customers. One afternoon I was passing by and they were offering their home made pizza to taste. I tried it. It was a tiny slice of a plain cheese pizza. And in my opinion, as much as I could remember and compare it to their truffle pizza I had had there once before it literally had no taste. I did not say anything to the woman who was giving out this pizza as there were people around. Next morning on my way to work I was carrying a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee I saw the same woman distributing menus by their front door. There was nobody around so I came up to her and told her that I thought that I had tried their plain pie the day before and that in my mind that pizza had no taste. Her response just shocked me. She said that it was because I was drinking Dunkin and that it had changed my pallet. Honestly, after this comment I will never go to that place again.
