This was a very late dinner for us, we just managed in before 10pm when kitchen closes. The staff were kind enough to let us order a main meal and some drinks. We did feel a bit rushed but not because of the staff, we just didn't want to inconvenience them. BEST pasta dishes we have EVER had. They were all made in about 5 minutes and were absolutely amazing. So fresh and tasty, we were delighted we had a chance to eat here. The only reason I have not given this place a 5 overall was because the decor and furnishings were a bit tired and could be doing with an update but as I've said before the food absolutely deserves a 5/5. Well worth a visit.

Just dont go. Everything we had tasted terrible, nothing was fresh and very lacy done - never going back

We had lunch here on our way through Soho. We choose pizza, the marina was nice, the diavola was a bit tasteless. The place was very busy. The service was fast.

IL Corallo Trattoria is a great restaurant in Soho on Prince Street. They have a great lunch deal for $10. It includes a choice of a salad or soup and an entree which can be a pasta dish, individual pizza, panini or chicken dish. There are many pastas and sandwiches to choose from. The food was fresh and a very nice portion. The staff was attentive and polite. We will be back to for dinner.

Loved it, found it just walking around, couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Four of us, accommodated without reservation even though very crowded. Food was awesome, nice/simple wine selection, good cocktails. Very cool place.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever enjoyed, and that's saying a lot, since I'm of Italian descent and very picky. Great service, fast and attentive, professional, and the food was soo great. The wine, as well! Very worthwhile! Do visit this restaurant when you are in SoHo!

One of my favorite Italian places in the city, and I stumbled upon it randomly while walking around after another restaurant I was looking for ended up being closed. Il Corallo is not only excellent in terms of the food and menu, but the service is fantastic and the prices simply cannot be beaten. It's hard to imagine anything on the menu not being good, but the clam pasta dishes are great, the tortellini is fantastic, anything with their red sauce is excellent, and the salads are all great. You can't go wrong here.

Been coming for several years. Food is always excellent. Staff is warm, courteous and very efficient. You must try the Tiramisu!

Opened almost 30 years. My childhood bff has been coming here for generations. Her brother even got engaged here. 3 generations that consider this restaurant home. Italian American approved. 🤌🤌🍝🍰🇮🇹 Katrina. Evando are amazing. All the staff. The art is gorgeous. Great music. 1. House vino bomb. 2. Pizza Marina. The dough was tasty. All pizzas looked good. 3. spaghetti carbonara. Its so fun to mix the carbonara up yourself. pancettta good. Delicious. 4. Black Taglierini Frutti di Mare fresh pasta with fresh seafood and a good tomato sauce 5. Issa Busco was yummy.6. Strawberry 🍓cheesecake 7. Tiramisu 8. Moscato We loved everything. Both desserts were worth it. Ciao.

Had pizza. Comes in a 12" only & thin crust. It was excellent. Visited on a Sunday evening. Small restaurant, fast service, friendliness was just average.

Really had an enjoyable meal here. Everything we had hit the mark. It is a really small space, especially if you aren’t outside or by the open window, so it can be a little cramped. However the service was prompt and friendly. Would certainly go back again.

We were searching for a trattoria in the area after a mini golf game at Pier 25. Maybe 15 minutes walk but that allows us to discover Soho. Great food, excellent service and a choice of a white or red wine bottle for 20$! We choose the Pinot Griggio, which was an excellent match for our pasta. Very crowded, we needed to wait outside for our table to be ready and they do not accept reservations. I would definitly go back on ur next NYC trip!

This would have been perfect if the noise level was toned down a bit. Pasta great but hard to have a conversation.

The food here was deliciou and freshly cookeds. The service pleasant and prompt. Would definitely go here again when visiting NYC.

Great food, great prices. Never disappointed. Extensive selection of antipasti, pasta and pizza. Good service. But not a place for a quiet conversation.

OK - Where else in NY can you get a glass of wine, a salad that is big enough for two people to share (and has quality ingredients), and a plate of delicious fresh pasta - all for less than $25? I want to try the pizza some day - but I just can't resist the pasta - so many choices and all of them sound great.

We arrived spontaneously, and had to wait for a table. It worth it because their food is very good, and very reasonably priced. Endless selection of pasta, great pizza. The only thing you should consider when visiting this place is that it is very very noisy, and that you will have hard time listening to each other.

2 for lunch only 20.00. But taste excellent. The fettuccine is excellent. The pizza is wood fire. The tomato sauce is excellent. One of the best Italian I ever have. ( I have been in Italy )

Fancied a cheap Italian and this came up on Google - it was really busy when we went, which is always a good sign. We were seated quickly and the staff were great with service. Big bowls of pasta that we couldn't finish, there was so much of it. Would definitely come here again.

Tucked away, this cosy, friendly trattoria was really quite a find. Good pizza, great pasta, high quality ingredients, friendly efficient service; what more could one ask for?

This is a very popular place. Expect to wait to be seated. However the waiters are very nice and accommodating. The food is very genuine Italian and delicious. I ordered the pasta with lobster in a parmesan cream sauce. Big pieces of lobster. It was wonderful. My friend ordered a seafood pasta that was equally good. Will definitely return!

Just stopped for a bite. Place looks nice. When full very packed and loud. Toilet is awful, dirty and no towel paper. Food was ok. Wine so so. May be it gets better if you come with friends

I had a light lunch of soup and grilled chicken salad today but, I will definitely go back for pizza or pasta. The servers were very fast and kind. Although the place was packed, I was seated and served rather quickly. The food was delicious and I will definitely go back there.

We found this cozy spot randomly on Yelp and decided to try it out. It was packed when we got there, but we only had to wait for about 15 minutes for a table for 2. The menu had a very wide range of options, I really wanted to try everything. We settled for two pizzas that were around 9 bucks each. Service is very friendly and very quick. Started bread didn't come with olive oil and vinegar, but all you have to do is ask! I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the city.

nice cozy place, in & outside, food xgood, nice service , even during this very warm day , there is plenty of shaded. I did not had pizza, but it looks very good and Italian ( I m Italiano myself ). crostini ( bruschetta ) & tagliatelle al salmone. ciao a tutti

I've been dining here at least 16+ years and this restaurant never disappoints! The brunch/ lunch specials are priced very reasonable, even the regular menu is a great value. But most of all the food is amazing! Seafood pasta and vegetable pizza are some of my favorites, But their frosé and chocolate cake are divine as well...you can't go wrong with anything! Everything is made with love!

When walking by, the restaurant presents itself as a hole-in-the wall type place. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it! Classic, delicious, no-frills Italian dishes that you can pronounce when ordering off the menu! I loved that my friend & I were able to get an outdoor table, which was situated on the sidewalk. The weather was so nice and the people watching was primo. The menu has options for paninis, entrees, pizza, and pasta. I got the penne alla vodka and he ordered the prosciutto & spaghetti dish; both meals were accompanied by a glass of Rose wine. The food was so good and service was prompt. When I visit Soho again, I will definitely come back to try the fra diavolo. Tip: ask for window or outside seating.

This used to be one of our favorites in NYC making it a point to come whenever we are in town. But it has steadily declined and the last few times the food has been poor. After more than 20 years my wife and I agreed we will not return.

My husband and I discovered this restaurant basically by accident while seeking a place for a late lunch. We were warmly welcomed. Service was attentive and professional, with a minor mistake in my order instantly corrected with an appropriate apology. The food was fresh and tasty, and price couldn't be beat. A delightful discovery.

We stumbled across this place by accident but are very glad we did, it is only a small establishment but this does not detract from the quality of the food, myself and partner both ordered pizzas which were very fresh and ample in both size and toppings I would highly recommend this place.

This little spot was so good we ate there again the following night! The pasta was out of this world. The servers were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and 100% italian. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

This place was heaving when we arrived but they seated us quickly - no reservations so you just have to take your chance or arrive early. Lots of great options to choose from, and the food is good. Staff friendly and served us very efficiently. The only downside of this place is that the popularity means it is usually packed and thus incredibly noisy. Definitely a restaurant for groups of people and families than couples.

This is a small busy trattoria with the most resonable prices for good food. I usually have the Pizza Napolitano about seven inches, a glass of Sangiovese and Creme Caramel for dessert. An unbelievable value. If you are in Soho, give it a try. Jeremy T

My sister recommended Il Corallo Trattoria. She choose a star in SoHo. Considering location and freshness, Il Corallo Trattoria is a winner. This is New York - you'll find fresh pasta all over the city. However, I don't always have $50 to drop on a dinner. This spot offers fresh pasta at reasonable prices. We ordered the Squid in Pasta with Seafood. The server said it was an excellent choice. We overheard his same comment to another table. This excellent choice is also a very popular choice. If pasta is not your style, there's lot of fresh pizza backed in a hot oven. Having never tasted Salmon Pizza, we went with that. The Salmon Pizza is made without red sauce and comes with somewhat thicker sliced smoked salmon. Overall, Il Corallo Trattoria is a winner in Soho and delivers on price and fresh pasta.

If your tight with a dollar, the 9.95 lunch special is a great value. Don't eat too much cause you can hardly turn around. Staff is super friendly and hustle. Food very tasty. Tomato soup excellent. Neapolitan pizza was a child pleaser. Lady finger Tia massou was delish!

Italian atmosphere with good options, good prices and good service. The wine in promotion was perfect! Interesting options in the “Menu of the day”. Definitly me and my wife will consider to return in our next trip to NYC.

Very good Italian restaurant. 5 family members (including 3 hungry boys) excellent food very good service very tasty very Italian reasonable prices

Authentic Italian atmosphere, good service, but busy and very warm. The pasta was amazing, and the tiramisu was the perfect ending!

We dined her several times in the month of September '13. An unpretntious and friendly establishment serving wonderful food and well priced wine. The Head waiter from Brazil is a charming man. If you're down here on the border of SOHO and the Village, give yourself a treat and feast in this restaurant. Not to be missed.

We had dinner here on May 22. It is such a quaint little restaurant in a pretty part of Soho. We both had a pasta with seafood dish. The portions were great and both dishes were delicious. The wait staff was very attentive. Our meals came out in a timely manner and the prices were very moderate. I would definietly eat there on our next visit to NYC.

Interesting restaurant, which I found while walking through Soho. Very pleasant surprise. Excellent service. Honest and full food. Very cool Mood. Varied cardboard. Two clean bathrooms.

We found this restaurant by pure accident more than 20 years ago. Now we go every time we visit NYC. The service is always great and the dishes are wonderful.

We ve been going to I’ll Corallo for more than 20 years. Consistently good food, helpful waiters, good service and reasonable prices. They have price fee lunches and they have a variety of choices. The salads are fresh and delicious. So glad they have outdoor tables.

We had just arrived from Europe and just wanted something quick and easy to eat before sleep. The place is small but cosy and the food was really excellent at a very low cost. We enjoyed it a lot.

This restaurant was crowded but we were still made to feel welcome and special. The wait staff took great care of us and made great recommendations. The view from our table was fabulous and the overall experience was magical!

Went to dinner with the family holiday time on a Friday evening. Busy, but got seated very quickly. Service was phenomenal. Three of us had pasta dishes, one had a pizza. I had the Tagliarini Sorrento - black squid ink pasta with clams, scallops, shrimp and mussles and a garlic wine sauce - outstanding! My wife had a pasta limone - also very good. A classic NYC restaurant - small, a bit crowded, but comfortable. The food was great and cost less than Olive Garden, if you can believe that! I look forward to returning next time I'm in NYC.

Went there with my wife last Oct. 31 2019. Quite by accident because we had never heard of the place before Sure glad we did, however. Superb service and excellent food that wasn't overpriced. Tried the 4 cheese pizza, salad, and panini sandwich. Tasted all heavenly and made with fresh ingredients. Finished off our late lunch with coffee Americano and a slice of chocolate cake. Worth a 2nd visit surely! 5 stars to Il Corallo Trattoria!

We ordered burrata and 2 delicious pastas. The environment was great and the staff was very pleasant. There were too many choices on the menu...and we had a hard time choosing our food. The chocolate cake was also the highlight !

Host refused to make a table for 5 adults and 4 kids until everyone have arrived. Attitude is not pleasant

All the plates were perfect and the bill was ok. We ware five persons and we paid 25 dollars per person. The beer was good too.

Il Corallo is the kind of neighborhood gem you start to think doesn't exist in Manhattan anymore, overrun as it is with trendy/foodie/crazies. A clean, well-lighted place, in Hemingway's phrase -- with lovingly prepared main courses as well as pastas and pizzas. Somebody should probably tell them they're not charging enough. What a find.

This place stands the test of time. We were regulars/fans beginning in the early 2000's. An extensive menu is the only challenge but specials are always safe. Affordable prices and great service. Just beware of small tables and maximum patrons makes this spot best for couples. Pastas, salads, and pizzas all top notch.

Been frequenting this little spot recently. The ONLY thing holding back is it is a bit tight inside. The food though is VERY reasonably priced, portions ample and VERY well prepared. Service is friendly and prompt. Wish they had a few hot appetizers on the menu (they have none) but hey the prices are so reasonable you can always get an extra pizza or pasta dish and share that before the main :)

Super packed but we got lucky and walked in! We were doing some bouncing about and split a plate of seafood spaghetti- just fabulous. Tons of locals. Quick and fast. Would def go back!

We were out with our son & his girlfriend, they live in NYC & we wanted to take their recommendation for lunch. This is a nice little place, unassuming yet it delivered on their promise of a very tasty and affordable lunch. We each ordered one of the lunch pasta specials & mooched off each other. So good, and such a deal. Staff was very attentive, on a weekday when it was perhaps half full. Can't wait to go back.

We stopped in on a Monday at 1:00 for lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. Seating wasn't too cramped as it often is in NYC. The food was fantastic! I ordered the Antipasto di Campo. My husband ordered minestrone soup, and the Taglierini Pesaro. We loved all of it.

Vegetarians will LOVE this place. They have sooo many options and everything is amazing! we ordered the mushroom ravioli, the spinach ravioli, pink sauce ribbon pasta and a pizza. We LOVED all of

this restaurant had great food and the bread was amazing. service and value were great too. the only problem was with the tight spaces.

This was a stellar find. This restaurant has been family run for over 20 years and it’s decor is very traditional Italian. It’s always packed and you’ll have to wait for a table but it’s worth it. The food is exquisite. A huge choice of pasta dishes and pizza using freshly made pasta and wonderful ingredients all cooked to perfection. I could happily eat here daily. The family who run the restaurant are friendly and service is quick. I had a seafood dish and am used to getting about 4 prawns with most dishes but here it is stuffed full of the seafood listed, great value for money. If you’re more into style over substance there’s plenty of pretentious looking Italian restaurants nearby, but if you want wonderfully cooked food at a very reasonable price in quaint surroundings then you can’t go wrong with this.

We booked ahead and were given a great table in the window of the main restaurant. Service was friendly and attentive. The pasta & pizza main meals were excellent, the traditional Italian desserts delicious and the house wine (Montepulciano) high quality and fantastic value for money. Very highly recommended if you're looking for a good value, high quality Italian in SoHo.

This is an under-the-radar village super spot. Delicious, fresh pasta. Fresh ingredients. Great bread. Fast service. LOW cost. The lunch special includes a salad which is a real salad -- diverse ingredients, including raw mushrooms, onions and an expensive salad mix. A great surprise. Sauces on the regular menu (also REALLY low prices) are so extensive anyone can be satisfied. ALL are delicious. This is going to become a once-a-week lunch spot for me. A great value and excellent food. You can't go wrong here. Try for a later lunch time -- it gets pretty busy.

I was very excited to eat here because of the extensive pasta menu. Thinking that seafood would be safe enough here considering the good reputation of the restaurant, I ordered the Capellini Corallo (which sounded like a specialty given that it contains the restaurant’s name.) However, from the moment I left the restaurant, my stomach was churning. I felt the immediate effects of food poisoning which lasted for the next 24 hours and has left me with some residual stomach problems since then (more than a week ago). I am extremely disappointed that a highly rated Italian restaurant would serve bad seafood, especially given the price per dish.

This may be my favorite restaurant in NYC. Why? Pasta. I have spent double what I pay here for "fresh" pasta meals in the midtown restaurants and I would put Il Corallo up against any other in the city. I was introduced to this amazing little restaurant 6 years ago and I have never had a bad bite there since. Not only is it delicious (fresh, tasty and plentiful) it is so affordable. 2 of us ate (4 glasses of wine, soup & salad and 2 entrees) for less than some solo meals at the big name places. My partner is Italian and I am spoiled when it comes to homemade pasta and sauces and Il Corallo is one of the few places that tops what I can get at home.

We really enjoyed our dinner. We started with a melon antipasti that was really different and delicious. The penne with Gorgonzola cream sauce was so tasty that I think next time my kids will order it too. The pizzas were also really good, as was the tortellini. Definitely recommend it!

2 for lunch only 20.00. But taste excellent. The fettuccine is excellent. The pizza is wood fire. The tomato sauce is excellent. One of the best Italian I ever have. ( I have been in Italy )

Nice little restaurant at the heart of SoHo. Menu is rich and plenty of choices. The atmosphere is not perfect but friendly. Servers are courteous but a bit pushy. Noticed their patience, tolerance and speed when the girls next table dropped their olive oil bottle to the floor and caused a mess. The value is great for the food they offer. Bottle of house wine is $25 and Chianti bottle is $35. However, wine is at the room temperature, you need to ask for ice box at the table.

Great place for friends or family groups. The food and wine were very good. Bustling and busy, so plan to spend some time here.

IL Corallo Trattoria is a great Italian restaurant in Soho at 176 Prince Street. They have a wonderful lunch, as well as brunch on the weekend, both are $10.95. You have a choice of soup or salad and then a large selection of pastas, paninis or individual pizza. I have been there several times and each time the food was very good. . It is very fresh and the portions are plentiful. You will not leave hungry.. It will be hard to finish all of it!!! You will not be disappointed.

We found Il Corallo walking around Soho. It's simple, but the food is good, especially the pasta. The prix fixe lunch for $10 is an amazing value.

i ordered black raviolis stuffed with seafood with a pink sauce. my dish was ok for my taste too little sauce, and i was expecting fresh shredded parmesan cheese. On the other hand my husband ordered spaguetis/fetuccine pasta with seafood with olive oil. his was very good. wine and mimosa were good too, small glasses though. won't come back.

The place is simple, but the food was really great and came in just a few minutes. We spend less money than our breakfast near Top of the Rock!!

We had a great dinner at this restaurant. We had a party of 15 and they were so gracious to fit us all in throughout the restaurant. Everyone raved about their meal! Our service was great and the food was excellent. Very pleased!

We had dinner here on a Monday evening while visiting NY. This place is pretty small, but the food was good. We had pizzas and pastas, both fresh and tasty. Service was ok, as well as the price; I would recommend this place if you are in the area.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel when we mentioned we were spending the afternoon in Soho. The restaurant was small and very crowded. We were seated right away at a table in the middle of the dining area. I don't mind sitting next to people, but when I have to crunch my body in my seat to make room for myself, that's not good. I felt like a sardine in a can. It was also very loud and my husband and I had to yell to talk to each other. It was also hard not to hear the conversations going on at the tables all around us. Our food was just ok. The salad was good, fresh. I ordered shrimp scampi and my pasta was not al dente. The shrimp were tiny, tough and only numbered 6!! I ate the shrimp and that was all. We skipped dessert because it was getting louder and we didn't think it would be any better than our meals. We would definitely try another restaurant in the Soho area next time!

We're still raving about the delicious meals we had on Sunday. I will definitely go back on future visits to NY.

Huge menu! Good house wine very nice sized salads which can be a meal with your complimentary rustic italian bread. Huge choice of pasta but we were too full this time. Will definitely come again.it is clear that this a favorite with the locals.

This "no frills" Soho Italian is known for its great pastas. The prices are fair and the service is friendly. Even though the menu say no substitutions, the wait staff accommodated all our requests. The space is a bit cramped and it can be very noisy. Don't expect a romantic dinner for two, just good "home cooked" Italian food. Get there early because with the "no reservation" policy, you might have a very long wait.

I have been coming here for years and everytime i'm greeted by the nicest people! Pastas and soups are delicious! They make fresh soup daily! They have an amazing brunch special on the weekends too! I also love the decorative touches, very cozy!

Great food. Great service! $185 for 7 people including tip. Reasonable prices. Great service! No reservations unfortunately !

My family and I decided to head here for dinner given the great reviews. The place is small, but seats a surprisingly large number of people. The service was prompt, but not rushed. The menu is quite large and I thought the server did a nice job of giving our table plenty of time to review and decide. The prices are great and the portions are generous, but not overly huge. I ordered a pizza which I found to be OK. I prefer more sauce and I found the toppings I ordered to be less than I hoped for. The crust was cooked perfectly from the wood fire oven. Several members of the group ordered pasta. Everyone seemed satisfied with their meals, and no one was blown away. For the price, this place offers good dishes, but nothing you can't get anywhere else.

We stopped here for lunch. It looked really cute. We had a pizza which was good. Perhaps the experience would have been better if we’d have felt more comfortable, we were pretty squashed in a corner and the staff had to lean over me to serve, clean etc which wasn’t very pleasant. Also, a side plate and the cutlery were dirty which was off putting. My drink was warm too. Needless to say we were pretty disappointed by our lunch choice.

Had a business/social meeting for lunch here. Very busy. very Soho. Food was outstanding. Pasta, pizza, salad, soup and drinks and dessert.... Every dish was excellent. Portions are generous and staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Wood burning oven for pizzas. What a terrific find. We will definitely go back. Prices were very reasonable. Restrooms were clean. Open area for dining. It was an outstanding find that we will make a regular stop. Family friendly, single friendly. A great neighborhood spot for lunch.

This is a fairly small place BUT they do take reservations (definitely make one or be ready to wait). They have an extensive pasta menu and the pasta was excellent. The service was very good. Nice reasonable wine list. A little noisy since it is a small place, but we had a great time!

Ducked in here one night when shopping in Soho with a friend, very busy place considering the weather was freezing! Ordered pasta and it was divine! Had a glass of house red, which was also lovely.

Loved everything about this place. the pasta menu is extensive, everything is affordable and i am not lying when i saw this was the best pasta dish i have ever had. (i had the bowtie pasta with lobster/shrimp, peas/avocado in a garlic cream sauce--Farfalle Di Spiaggia). i read the reviews saying it was a small restaurant that fills up quickly (and we were going Saturday memorial day weekend) so we arrived around 530pm and were seated immediately, but by the time we left the crowd was definitely starting to pick up. the sangria was only $6-$7...a steal in ny! the service was quick, and again.. the food was amazing!! i am still shocked it could be that good for the price!!

We chose this restaurant based on TA and Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. Portions are huge (and delicious), pizzas are really good. I had Taglierini Sorrento (squid ink pasta with seafood). OMG it was soon delicious. We vacationed in Italy this summer and did not have pasta as good ! Atmosphere is lively and fun and with such reasonable prices, definitely worth a trip.

Abominable service started with a nasty owner/hostess who refused to serve me a cup of hot water on a freezing cold day. Ice water is the only form of water they serve, regardless of season. The waiter had to refer to the owner for every little request. It was embarrassing for us and for him as the owner gleefully denied everything. She was totally inflexible, all simple queries were refused like "Can I have this pasta with a tomato sauce instead of a tomato cream sauce?" The food was terrible. But the terrible service overshadowed the terrible food. I assume they are not expecting any repeat customers. Tourists are their target market.

We were walking around trying to find a place and stumbled onto this one. They had some great lunch specials and a huge menu. It was a very cold day so it wasn't as crowded or maybe we were just late for lunch time. I got the rustica pizza which was one with veggies and came with a salad. My daughter had a seafood pasta (not a special) which was delicious. We got plenty of food. The prices were reasonable. The service was good.

Visited here with friends in from out of town. They were staying nearby and had been here before. We were welcomed in almost like family, and were shown to our table. Service was excellent; friendly not pushy at all. The menu is long ; lots of choice. Meals came quickly but not rushed, presentation was excellent, and flavours all superb. Everyone was very pleased with their choices. Moderately priced, great atmosphere, will be back.

Nice place, good food. Could tell it was freshly made. Would come again. Had the sorrento pasta. Fire oven Pizza. Great place in SoHo

You can not go wrong in ordering anything on this menu. Fresh pasta is simply perfect. Their sauces are succulent and so varied it's tough to make a decision. Great bread. Fab wine special. The ONLY downside? Noisy as hell.

We stopped at this eatery after watching the Village Halloween parade for a short time. Many places in the area, but overpriced in my opinion and with long lines. They were able to seat us immediately and the place was packed! Great selection of pasta dishes and pizza to choose from. The green salad was enough for 2 of us. I had the seafood fettuccine which was a bit too al dente for me, but fabulous tasting! Would definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

Had a family gathering here with my cousins in New York(they highly recommended this place as they said that the food here was great and it wasn't that crowded compared to other famous restaurants). I had the Marina pizza(seafood pizza with squid and prawns and it was awesome!

Good and authentic Italian food. Especially liked the seafood pasta. It was very delicious. Kind staff.

Friendly staff who were keen to serve you as quickly as possible without trying to make you feel you had to rush. Good, solid Italian food (mainly pasta and pizza with no meat options except the Osso Buco special). The Vongole was very tasty but could have had a few more clams in it. The sauce made up for the lack of protein however. Pleasant surprise to be served a decent espresso as they are difficult to find in NY restaurants.

Cheap Italian. Black linguine pasta not good at all. Fishy off taste. Lamb shank very good. Good bread and inexpensive wines. Too bad the pasta was disappointing.

Lovely little restaurant with great food. Have eaten here in the past and always great food and service.

We stopped at This little spot on a recommendation of a friend. The service was wonderful and the food was even better. The menu had 2 pages of Pasta options. I was in a party of 6 and we each ordered something different. Everyone of us LOVED our dinners. Everything was fresh and hot. And the prices were very affordable especially for NY! I would return in a heart beat!

Visiting New York and was told about this place by our niece. An extensive menu filled with salads, pastas, and ravioli. Small wine menu, but that is good as it is not overwhelming. Service was great, food was excellent, portions were just right, and they had a creative dessert frozen hollowed out peach with peach ice cream. The place is a bit noisy, but that speaks to the popularity. A great place to go.

We did not plan to eat here - my wife wanted to have lipstick made up for her next door at Bite and when we finished, it was lunch - time and we popped in. We were lucky to get a table at what turned out to be an extremely busy little trattoria. Nice wine selection including Italian wines. We both had pizzas which were superb. Huge menu and the pastas going to the tables next to us looked really good. We shared a pumpkin cheesecake- I don't like pumpkin but this was good. Fantastic service. Really enjoyed the lunch.

Do you want to eat well at a reasonable price? Go here for lunch. During the week: choose between a soup or salad, and then between pasta, pizza or sandwiches. For only 10 USD. The service is fast, the pasta is very good and the choice is big. The place is simple but nice and always full of people (especially people working in the area). I strongly recommend it !!

Wow. The food is amazing here. I had rigatoni sardi. With lamb and mushrooms in garlic oil white wine sauce. Very delicious. Great. Service. This is the kind of place that I would go back to soon. Everything in our party of ten looked amazing.

Had quick lunch on a real cold New York Saturday after a bit of walking around Soho. Food is simple and good value for money. Taste like home cooking. Very casual. Had pasta, salad and a glass of white wine for $20 including tips. Hard to beat.

The food very good and super reasonable. The service was also very good but we felt rushed. The menu is quite extensive with lot's of pastas, pizzas and salads to choose from. Get there early or expect a wait. No reservations taken.

This small restaurant is always crowded for dinner. The owner also plays host and seating is first come, first serve - no reservations are taken. Owner is new- just switched hands and service is not always the best or friendliest. We have no complaints - waited 30 minutes or so for a table but owner gave us free glasses of wine. :) Off to the food - their pastas - in cream sauce (white usually) is fantastic - perfectly portioned actually if you don't have a starter. Skip it and just indulge in the pastas. It's cheap, good and delicious!

I'll definitely go back here when I'm in soho again. the atmosphere is great- it really feels like a local restaurant in Italy. The starter mozarella dish, the bread, seafood pasta and tiramisu were to die for. Pizza was OK. They have a great wine list and a new special red and wine every day. Tiny bit of outdoor seating and great location + super reasonable prices!

Awful. In the menĂą nothing seemed Italian. And nothing was at the end of night. We ordered pasta: Bolognese, and with clams. The firsr was over cooked, over over! The second with some prepared toppings. Disgusting. The only eatable thing was the Napolitana pizza. We will never be back here.

This is not expenses place with a quick service, lunch is under $10 included soup or salad. Break is not good but they have good main dish options that make this place a very good place to go for a normal lunch.

Excellent Italian food from this restaurant that has never disappointed yet. the Rigatoni Sardi is amazing, a must try.

What makes this restaurant excellent is the $10.95 lunch, period! The portions are surprisingly large for lunch, and even more surprising for $10.95! And, at 3 pm, it was still the lunch menu! And the food is very good, as is the service we got -- we'll be back again when in the neighborhood.

Wonderful menu with large selection of great pasta dishes with varied sauces and ingredients. Hearty, decent portions with reasonable prices for the area. Service is prompt and friendly. The place is small, so expect tight seating, and for post-meal lounging to be discouraged (depending how busy it is), though not in a rude way.

We were looking for somewhere to eat dinner on a Friday night. Thankfully we found a table here. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is loud and the tables are close together but it's cozy and lively. The restaurant was full of college aged people - I'm guessing because of the value and the inexpensive drinks. We had the bocconcini appetizer, the linguine pescatore, and the mushroom ravioli. We split a bottle of pinot grigio (only $25 - unheard of in NYC). The food came quickly and it was quite good. It wasn't the best pasta I've ever had but it was hot, fresh, and I think this place has unbeatable value.

Il Corallo is a go-to joint for great pasta if you're aiming to eat out for a reasonable price. I'm tired of paying $20 for a plate of pasta at other places that just isn't as good anyway. For $10-$15 at Il Corallo you can enjoy a great entree. They will fill your cup of wine to the brim, and the deserts aren't bad either. It's not fancy, but it's not meant to be.

First of all, this place has the best bread ever. Seriously. I would be quite happy if my meal was limited to just bread with olive oil/salt/pepper and water, it was that perfect in its simplicity. But there are also delicious colorful salads (mine had walnuts and avocado) and a wide selection of pizzas and pastas that were quite as good. And tiramisu - save some space for tiramisu! The restaurant is fairly small and can get filled up in the evenings. Despite of that, the service was consistently fast and all our servers were very pleasant! The price range is very reasonable, considering the value and the location. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we went back the very next day!

There are so many great places to ear in soho but this little gem was so good. It reminded us of Florence or sienna eating just off the street. The menu is large the staff was very solicitous .from the caprice salad to the tiramisu everything was great. We had a mountain of food a bottle of wine and two bottles of pelligrino. For less than $120 for four. We ended up going here twice and we're rewarded with an extra dessert and 4 glasses of dessert wine.

Huge menu with tons of stuff. All four of us had a pasta dish and three of us loved ours and the fourth thought his was pretty good. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked and the whole dish had great flavor. Busy/frantic, noisy, crowded atmosphere with a diverse bunch of diners, good service. I would definitely go back.

9.95 brunch of entree with soup or salad, specials of the day, montepulciano red wine, tartufo dessert in a nice atmosphere with an efficient and friendly staff

Il Corallo Trattoria is an NYC landmark. If you're visiting NYC don't pass this place up! You have to eat here. My wife and I live in the city and we've been coming here since 2004. It's been excellent, affordable and CONSISTENT for all those years and still is! Funny thing, all the staff has worked here this entire time. I only recently saw 1 new guy. I love how they make the food here. Even a salad here is delicious through and through. The pasta is classic al dente every time. The menu has a few categories but a TON of options within each category. Something like 50+ pasta dishes. And what makes it all the more delicious is the price. This place is cheap by NYC standards. That combined with the great food and great service make this one of the top values in the city. You have to try it.

overtime i'm in nyc, i make my way to this little place in Soho. tonnes of pasta selections - seafood is a must. can't go wrong with anything on the menu. love this place - it was a bit cold last time i was there though.

This is the best meal I had in New York in five days it’s typical Italian and very tasty you will be feel you’ve been invited to the restaurant of someone private I strongly recommend a soup and of course Pastor is just amazing

Ate here, nice food reasonable price, service a little up and down, but overall the food and vibe were positive, but the real sting came at the end, when I was paying the bill I noticed that only my bill had had a 15% gratuity added to it, after the tax of course. I am happy to pay a gratuity and have on average paid 20% to every NYC restaurant I have enjoyed, but I would like to decide that. When I questioned the staff the rude waitress said that because we were tourists they had added the tips in case we forgot, how insulting, rude and unprofessional. She thought we were from Europe, hello New Yorker, maybe leave the country and realise that NYC is NOT the centre of the universe. WONT be Back, WONT be recommending and WILL be in SoHO for another week avoiding your restaurant. :(

I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and prices are amazing. Yes it is a little crowded, with tables close together, but for the price it is understandable that they have to fit as many people in there as they can, and it's really not that bad. I believe it is under new ownership now but that the menu and everything is going to stay the same. Being Italian I usually don't like to eat out at Italian restaurants but this is great food with a menu coming straight from Italy. I'm looking forward to going back on my next trip to the city. Bon appetit!

Stopped over for luncheon whilst shopping in the neighbourhood - looked like a cozy local place and had 'good' Yelp reviews. The place is small but had reasonable decor and a table was available when we arrived. The menu is long and filled with lots of pasta varieties and sauces (more than 25) and has about twelve different pizzas. The kitchen is extremely small and perhaps then all sauces are pre-cooked and are ready to be added to the pasta. That is probably why, in our party of 5, all of our pasta tasted bland and we ended leaving half the serving. Service was slow to come and rushed and not particularly focused when delivered. Price was OK, but am certain that there are better places to go nearby with a better offering.

I first found this place with my husband in June 2017. We ate there 3 times within 4 nights. I was back in NYC in May 2018 and in a span of 9 days we ate there 4 times. We could have gone more but time didn't allow it. It is THE best Italian restaurant I have been to. The prices are very decent for NYC and the food is just SO good. I have a very strict diet and they have many dishes on their menu that can accommodate me. Even their salads are good. I VERY highly recommend this restaurant. It's one of the crown jewels of NYC.

I ate here tonight with my family and am really disappointed to say that after ordering my meal and eating almost half of it I discovered it was made on chicken broth. I'm a vegetarian and obviously chose what appeared to be a vegetarian meal from the menu. I've attached a photo of the menu, where it does not specify the pasta contains chicken broth. Really upset about this!!!!!

Happened by. Nice open air restaurant. Nice portions. For $13.95 get soup or salad and n entree for lunch. House wine good $8 glass. Def recommend. The carrot soup was outstanding! Healthy choice for me was zucchini limone. Nice stop :)

Amazing! I asked for a specialized sauce and they brought it back just perfect! Super respectful ppl

The dish I had was Farfalle di Spiaggia it has lobster, shrimp, peas, avocado and cream sauce. It was incredible!!! I could eat this everyday. My mom had pizza which was good, but the pasta was so rich and the avocado made it smooth and extra creamy. The seafood tasted fresh and juicy. And the peas were diffidently fresh as well. Every part of the dish is delicious and rich tasting.

Best dinner in NYC!! Nice atmosphere and great Italian! Wait staff very friendly. Very quick service.

We loved this restaurant. Was recommended by a friend of mine for a cutty restaurant for a good dinner. A good and smilling service. Pasta was really good. If we go back to NYC, we will for sure, return to this restaurant.

Enjoying Il Corallo for over 20 years. The food is excellent, generous portions at a remarkably good price. It never disappoints.

The main con of this place is how tight they pack the tables - you'll hear the conversations of nearly everyone around you, and servers and busboys will constantly bump you as they busily service tables. However, it's worth it to look past this as the food is solid. They had a $20 bottle of wine deal that was certainly a welcome surprise, the bread beforehand was just fine, and the pasta was good. Service was frequent, though by multiple servers, and the prices here are reasonable by NYC standards. Food was also quick - my girlfriend and I were in and out in about an hour. I'd definitely come back.

Best pasta I ever have. I eat here is not because the price. Specially lunch price are so reasonable.

There was a large assortment of pasta dishes with options of other entrees/appetizers. Not a huge place, so make reservations or be prepared to wait, especially if you have a larger party. Our table was given a basket of bread to enjoy. With a party of 5 each ordering a pasta dish, three appetizers and bottle of wine, cost around $150 (cost, tax, and tip). Reminded us of a few restaurants when we were in Italy!

This is exactly how I thought a SoHo restaurant would be, small and cramped with patrons almost sitting on top of each other. So I got that right. Looking at the prices, I thought it would be fairly average, nothing great, nothing bad. I got that wrong. Food was fresh, home made fare that encourages you to want to return. We will be returning. Everything we had, we loved, pasta was fantastic, the seafood added was cooked to perfection.

Walking around Soho/Greenwich Village last week and stopped in for a bite of lunch. Great food, great service, generous wine pour. You never know what you might find without relying on reviews (we had none) and always a pleasant surprise to discover a good and reasonable place to eat. Can recommend the homemade tortellini. Hands down one of the most delicious pasta dished I have eaten! And their tiramisu is wonderful as well.

after having a recommendation from my brother we came with expectation the an italian restaurant that remind me a domestic small neighborhood's restaurant in Rome or Florence. very friendly service, good prices and the most important thing a delicious simple Italian food. we had a pasta, a muzarella salad and a vegetables pizza. drank Italian beer and real got into the atmosphere of Italy in the air. certainly will come back

This place was recommended by our son and daughter-in law, former New Yorkers, and it was a keeper. We went here with our granddaughter for dinner, and the meal was excellent and reasonable. We shared a burrata appetizer. My husband had his usual spaghetti vongole. Our granddaughter had prawns saltimbocca, and I had capellini limone. We shared tiramisu for dessert (excellent) and a creme caramel. We were seated outdoors in their inviting cabana and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Came here with my parents for Monday night dinner. The menu is extensive, ranging from crab and lobster ravioli to prosciutto pasta to plain pesto. There’s something for each taste preference. The portions are also generous; the pasta isn’t too heavy; the dishes all taste like it was fresh and homemade (aka not stuff taken from a can and reheated). There’s also a $20 wine bottle special every night. This place gets crowded right around 7, even on weekdays, so it’s better to come on the earlier side.

The food is not that good, bland and no taste. It’s like Italian fast food. The dishes come out very quickly. Something definitely changed about this place. It lost its Italian feel. The food use to be good. The utensils-were dirty and so was the glass. It was very hard to get the waiters attention. Waiters are constantly bunking into you if you are on a isle seat, its very loud and not so comfortable. Food stunk, no flavor in the sauce food stunk it was so bland the pasta needed to be cooked more. When I left their my stomach was hurting justhurtinghurting.Definitely is not the same, terrible, never returning

We walking trough Soho and we saw this little restaurant with a lunch deal of $10.95 that includes soap or salad (both delicious) and choose between different dishes of pasta, pizzas or similar. Sizes are good, options are great and time and taste is excellent! Great place to have lunch!

Living very close by, we have been visiting Il Corallo for many years and the food has been quite good. I particularly like the Ravioli with Goat Cheese. It has never disappointed me. Our fellow diners have never complained about their choices either. My only unhappiness about the restaurant is the crowding of tables and a, perhaps imagined, push to get you to finish up quickly when done. The food can be delivered close by and that seems to be a good solution. I suppose an early dinner would work also.

My husband and I first discovered this restaurant in 2009 and return to eat here almost every time we are in the city. I was most recently there in November 2015 due to a business trip and ended up dining at Il Corallo two nights in a row. The menu is extensive! We especially enjoy the Spaghetti Vongole and rigatoni dishes. Excellent prices for NYC. Can't wait to return!

wonderful specials, very reasonable prices, excellent service. excellent bread... no wait b/c we went at an off hour (2:30 on a Wed.) highly recommend!

They do not accept reservations which is frustrating. Last time we had to wait 20 minutes but it was worth it. It is a small family owned place. We went for lunch and had no wait this time.

We went to this restaurant last Monday and had a great time. The place was not too crowded, and the staff were helpful and kind. In the middle of soho, is a good location for you.

Our go-to pasta place. Great selection, big variety. Meat based, fish base or vegetable based, choices for all. Always good. Really nice staff. Easy take out also.

Delicious food, very attentive waiters and would definitely recommend to anyone in new york. Only 20 mins from anyone based in times square.

|| Corallo Trattoria is an authentic traditional Italian Restaurant. They have very delicious seafood pasta!!! I

I have no idea how I missed this hidden gem working in soho for the past 8 years. This place is awesome!!! Not only is the food very good but the prices are fantastic, especially for this area. The portions are good, you will not leave hungry. They also have tons of pasta to choose from. Dining in, take out.. either way it's good. $10 goes a long way.

I really enjoyed my pasta with clams in white sauce. Perfect,flavorful...the place is cozy...the servers friendly. The pizzas looked amazing...house wine $5.95....CAN,T GO WRONG.

If you’re ever in New York this place is owned by an amazing woman!! The food here is incredibly delicious, from the entree to the amazing deserts and a great wine to pair the food with!! Don’t miss out on the chance to be more than satisfied but filled with extraordinary food.

Dinner for 6. Never figured we'd all fit in, but going early 630 helped. Pizza was fresh from the wood oven. Staff was friendly and definitely Italian. Pasta pescadore was a fav. Big chunks of lobster and crab. Small and noisy in a good way.

I was shopping in Soho and as I was starving to death, I saw this italian and nice restaurant which seemed to invite me to enter and lunch. It was a wonderful experience, the pasta (try fusili with gorgonzola, zucchini and walnuts sauce - a must) was out from this world, the pizza my friend "devoured" was also delicious and the price, ah the price! unexpected cheap (regarding we were in NYC!). Personnel very kind . Five stars to Il Corallo !

The restuarant is tiny but has a nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed the meal, everyone I was with enjoyed theirs as well. The menu is large and has lots of options for everyone, mainly pasta dishes. I had the crab and lobster ravioli and it was delicious. I would highly reccomend it if you are in the area!

In the city for a Saturday night no reservations and feeling a good pasta dinner? This is the place. The place is small and loud but the food is delicious, the service is top notch and the prices are so reasonable. The Mozzarella stuffed with ricotta served over pesto was so good we could have eaten 1 order each rather than shared among 3, we also had an order of the bruschetta again outstanding, for the main pasta dish we had the Fettuccini Pescatore, Black Ravioli Seafood, and the Ravioli Goat Cheese. We all sampled all the dishes and they all were amazing fresh pasta with just the right serving size. A nice bottle of prosecco to top off the meal. all of that for 91 bucks!! find me a good meal in NYC for that price. Will definitely be back to try more of the amazing pasta.

A colleague, who has been here many times, brought me for dinner and I could not have been happier. Great ambience, very warm and comfortable (took me back to my favorite restaurants in Italy and France) and the food was terrific. My associate had his favorite ravioli with mushrooms and pronounced them perfect. I had the squid ink pasta with seafood and I almost licked the plate. Enough said. A nice green salad to start and their $20.00 bottle of wine special rounded out the meal. And, I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were...especially for New York. This place is a find in a sea of great restaurant choices.

I joined a sailing group party at this Greenwich Village restaurant and was surprised at how reasonable it was, with entrees at $20. Very friendly, and very crowded, so popular.

Service is really awesome here they really take good care of you, The food is amazing Delicious .Great place ,Great find.

We went for a pizza for late dinner after a big lunch. Buzzy, noisy and busy but good vibe and great service. Pizza excellent and good value Pinot Grigio at 25.00 Whole menu looked authentic and will return. By the way pizza was excellent on nice thin base

I have been a patron of this restaurant since they first opened, and in the past 22 years, not much has changed. The prices are incredibly reasonable, service is very good, and the food is great. Tons of pasta options, pizza...Il Corallo is a NYC gem.

Visiting new York from Australia. Met a couple of friends for lunch. We had pizzas. Really nice, authentic Italian. Great atmosphere and location

Nice menu selection, delicious food, reasonable prices, cool SOHO location away from tourists, attentive service, a quaint authentic NYC gem! We arrived by 5pm for an early dinner and were seated right away and it quickly filled up.

A salad with asparagus comes with one and a half asparagus total. Pasta with tomato sauce is drenched in chicken broth - to save on tomatoes. Rancid bad food - but big portions of it. Avoid at all cost
Ah-mazingly delicious!
I used to go to this spot a long time ago before I even knew about TripAdvisor. Imagine my delight when I happen to be in the neighbourhood and found this spot again with a friend of mine for lunch. The menu consisted of a long list of pastas, pizzas and main courses. For lunch you can order their lunch special for a mere $9.95 you can get a soup or salad with a pasta, pizza or a sandwich. Or you may choose to have something from the main menu. We chose to opt for the main menu. Farfalle Del Mare (seafood pasta) and Rigatoni Sardi (lamb pasta). Both dishes were just the right portion to fill out hungry appetites and deliciously prepared pasta and the perfect al dente. I highly recommend this spot for delicious pasta dishes at a very reasonable price. Both dishes with a glass of wine was around $40 without tip. I hear that the pizza is just as delicious.
