We turned up at the door on a busy night and all tho we had a little wait we were able to get a table and the food was worth the wait! Fantastic Lebanese style food and great cocktails. Very stylish looking place! I would definitely go back but I recommend you book your table as they are very busy.

We were vacationing in NYC and meeting friends for dinner. I researched restaurants and ilili has great reviews so decided to try it. We had the best time enjoying the energetic environment and lovely decor. The menu is unusual with a large variety of appetizers and entrees. Everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Traditional lebanese food. Silence ( no 100db restaurant). Nice personnel. Nice wine. Large table . Loved this . Finally a refreshing experience

The space is gorgeous. The waitstaff couldn't be more professional and the food is like nothing i have ever had. This is a destination restaurant. You are surrounded by Lebanese Families which is interesting as it is somewhat pricey. I would have given it 5 stars except that the food was overpowering to me. While the pita and hummus were out of the world, the meat dishes (primarily lamb) were very heavily spiced. I'm not saying they were bad or unusual, just to strong for my palate. I'm glad i tried it

The price point does not match with the hype. Food was good but not extra ordinary. There can be some miss with the level of spices…mine was too sour. Service was excellent. The ambience is more of a casual quick bite not for special occasions

Our son recommended this place for lunch the other day while up in the city visiting in the city. Super menu, with a TON of things to choose from. Overall, the food was good. My wife liked her baba ghanouj and our son & I liked the lamb burgers. Andrew was our server, and while he was friendly, attentive and didn't auction off the food, my burger order was messed up. Other than that, a good meal. The prices are par for the course for the city ($7 for an iced tea) and we'd swing by again.

I don’t go to restaurants to eat the same food I eat at home or in other restaurants. So I was very happy to try the middle eastern food with another touch, westernized 😀🌹 very good results, but maybe you want to eat like you are used to, well not me. Alex was very kind serving us trying to explain to us the menu. Sure with such a number of seats the place is noisy, and I think I prefer to listen to Lebanese songs like Fairuz and Milhem Barakat instead of western music since it is a Lebanese restaurant. Don’t ask about the price sure it’s expensive but like we say in Arabic, if you want to get drunk you don’t count how many drinks 🍹. Wonderful experience in NY have to try it once. 🌹🌹🌹

Wonderful lunch with the perfect combo of food. Our excellent waitress (can’t remember her name. Sorry) knew the menu inside and out. We ordered her favorite, Octopis. The best I have had in years. Yummy cocktails. Low key vibe. Definitely a repeat!!

Went here for a birthday meal with my partner, service was fabulous, and food very enjoyable. Only reason this isn’t a 5* is because we are probably spoilt for choice in the UK with amazing Lebanese/Arabic foods, and this didn’t quite measure up - still really good though. Thanks for making my birthday meal so lovely.

I mean, this is a NICE restaurant. Friendly folks, luxurious bathrooms, good menu - but too expensive and tight for me. Was here with project team that’s working in NYC. Almost $400 for 4 person dinner plus drinks.

We ate outdoor as indoor eating was not allowed. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was authentic with a modern twist. Wine list was good. Highly recommend sharing multiple dishes rather than having one entree per person. Overall it was a great outing.

Fabulous food, the staff are lovely and helpful. Very busy but lots of attention and each dish made perfectly!

Amazing service, quality of food is out the world. Enjoyed my time here and food was extremely tasty. It is a very busy restaurant, however. So expect it to be noisy, and that reservations are most likely required.

I love Ilili. Even if the place is a little bit noisy, this is the perfect restaurant for group of people. We were 11 around the table and we started with a wide range of hot and cold mezze. To be honest, it would have been enough because we had a main course afterwards and it was way to much!

Restaurant had been well recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The quality of the food is first class and so reasonably priced for its location. We visited the restaurant on three occasions and on each one we were impressed by the quality of the food and value for money

Had dinner with my family while in NYC and we all loved it !... Amazing Mediterranean food ... the wine perfect ...

This Lebanese restaurant serves delicious and very fresh dishes. Every dish was a succulent discovery. The service was super friendly , pro-active and very thoughtful. They really helped us well with the request for gluten and egg free dishes. Besides that is is wonderfully located in the heart of Manhattan , close to Times Square , the Empire State and the theatre district and the interior is very stylish and interesting.

This is a Lebanese restaurant. The foods quite nice but I felt that it lacks a typical Lebanese touch. The staff are quite friendly and the ambience is good. The variety is good too

I heard so much about this place and was looking forward to try it. But was a little bit disappointed. Most of dishes were spicy (and not pre-warned) and had a lot of herbs. Other dishes were very greasy. But its a nice ambiance and the place is very nice.

Authentic Lebanese cuisine! This place has amazing and delicious food. I truly loved it and will definitely go back. Do try this restaurant if you like Lebanese food, you won’t be disappointed. The service is also great and the place isn’t expensive.

Excellent Lebanese cuisine. Great selection on the menu. The quality of the food was very good. Nice service. Danwprprprden we will go back anytime. Rather a bit expensive

Finish and fries where excellent, nice and crunchy and outside. Tender on the inside Lebanese/Mediterranean foods. Not a huge selection, but enough to wear the appetite. More like a bar atmosphere will come back again.

Everything was excellent! We took a few Mezze and then two dishes for 2. It was really good and I enjoyed the attention and indications regarding my gluten intolerance

Best food and one of the best restaurants in New York. Love the food, love the staff everything was perfect. Must visit this place if your in New York

My daughter and I visited around lunch time and ordered the pita bread and hummus, the garlic fries, and grilled chicken wraps for each of us. We honestly could have split the wrap, so much food! The pitas were like puffy clouds of goodness-- they kind of sighed and popped when you took them out of their little nest to dip into the hummus. Oh...... the fries were spicy and wonderful. What a lovely lunch. We traveled all the way from FL to NY and Ilili was our first destination, because we remembered it from years prior. It didn't disappoint. Oh, those pitas....

It's a fantastic place to wine & dine. Would recommend to visit. Menu has great taste here, surefire the Falafel.

Got shown to an outside top floor annex.Extremely out if the way. We booked months ago. We complained and was provided with a nice table in the main area. Not a great start

An excellent Mediterranean place with very good food and service, but prices are high. Flavors are great!

By a strange mixup of plans, we had gone to a much more modest (ie not fancy at all) Lebanese place the night before so we had a great chance to compare. The more modest place, over in New Jersey, was OK. Not trying hard, it had all the cliches. Tasted great. But just a modest regular Lebanese place. At ilili, I expected something special. The staff and decor were top notch. The menu listing looked special, avoided cliches (but had a few in case you want those). But the food, when it arrived, was nothing special. Wasn't bad at all, but wasn't as good as the more modest food the previous night. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. All the street vendors, now -those- are great shawerma places. Way overpriced for the quality of food. $11 dollars for a boring small bowl of rice.

While walking back to our hotel from a Broadway show, we were in the mood for dessert and stumbled upon this fabulous place. If you are looking for a new, delicious, interesting dessert- you must order Knafe Bil Jibneh. Yes, it requires explanation and tips on how to enjoy it. It is a warm inverted cheese tart, served with sesame pillows and orange blossom syrup. Really- and so wonderful. We were offered a proper table, but preferred to sit in the cozy couches. Our waitperson was so friendly and professional. Even you don't need to- go to the bathroom area- you'll see.

And it’s a Middle Eastern that proves it! Having been used to tasting Lebanese/Syrian dishes since my early childhood, I admit that I was very pleasantly surprised to taste Ilili's dishes. And I'm not telling you that because my family cooks very badly...!! :D The dishes are very well presented but beyond tasting with the eyes, the flavors are just crazy. All the dishes we had were perfectly executed, not one note stronger or weaker than the other, nor any bad combination, the tastes were definitely "down there" and we simply enjoyed ourselves Even the fries that we wanted to taste (nothing better than the simple ones to form an opinion) where we melted with delight The restaurant that evening was crowded! Although we did not have a reservation, we were able to dine there sitting on beanbags and benches. This slight discomfort was quickly forgotten after the aperitif cocktails. So, of course, it's probably at the budget level that this will get stuck, we are in NY, in a restaurant that wants to be trendy, we eat well there: we're crazy But honestly, the meal is worth the detour

Went here on Friday night. Location is in NoMad (North Madison Sq Park). Very easy access. Fine Dining Cuisine is Lebanese with a wide selection of mezzes. Think tapas. Items include hummus in several varieties, fatoosh, falalfel (chick pea paste) labneh (creamy yogurt), yummy french fries plus many others. Great place to have drinks/snacks as well. A bit noisy, but that is NYC.

the waiter was rude and the food was not up to the bill. we took a TABBOULEH and inside there was only parsley. the water costs more than the beer. a place to absolutely forget. Massimo

I think about this restaurant at least once a month. Every single thing I had here was amazing: hummus, brussel sprouts, tabouleh, and the incredible MOUHAMARA. It's definitely a bit pricy and I don't know if I would have been as happy with it if I were personally paying (I went with family) but still, amazing food.

Dropped in for an unexpected Brunch on a busy Saturday in December without reservations. Everyone was charming and friendly and could not have been more accommodating! Such a delightful surprise in an often hostile city. The food was excellent as was the service. The decor was glittery and Christmas-y but super tasteful and elegant. What a lovely experience!

Service was absolutely great and the food was espectacular, I love Lebanese food and this spot is the best In the city and has it all!

Magnificent restaurant with soft lighting. The food is great and the servers are great and the prices are fair. It’s a great discovery.

We've never had Lebanese food so took the opportunity that it was part of Restaurant Week and went for lunch. From outside the place is unassuming but once inside it's big and has color, the place looks great. The food...WoW! We loved it! I ordered a salad and the salmon and everything was tasteful and full of texture, just thinking about it now I want to go back. My guest had the hummus with jalapeno and the lamb burger and she enjoyed it as well. The staff was attentive and very nice. The bathrooms experience was good too, they use hand towels instead of paper towels, nice touch. Would we go here again...YES!

We went for dinner . Quite lively and crowded ambience. Bustling and noisy but typical NYC style. Looked elegant and quite different with high ceilings and wooded panels on walls. Separate dining halls for diff needs. Saw a few kids too. Overall age of customers from 20s to 50s. Most people I saw were well dressed and locals. Food was the main attraction. Appetizers very tasty and lot of vegan and vegetarian options. They are allergy friendly to nut allergies and dairy allergies.Serving portion was good. Lot of choices! entrees were tasty as well. a little fusion cuisine . Herbs and spices made food very flavorful. Desserts well presented . Sorbet for daily/nut allergies.I recommend arugula salad and eggplant. the salad taste was uniquely differe nt and tasty! service was what you would expect in this kind of place. DefinitelyWorth going to but book ahead..

A major disappointment!! Food is expensive lacking any flavors. Service is meh 🫤 Not worth the money spent. We were excited to have a taste of home in New York but alas!!

This is very trendy restaurant, with very good arabic food. A little expensive, but hey, it's on 5th avenue New York - the most expensive street in the world. In that light, this restaurant deserves 5 stars for being very fast, tasty and very good service.

Fabulous Fabulous! Each and every time we come to Ilili, we are NEVER disappointed. Every app, entree and dessert ever ordered is amazing. It’s great for sharing / family style eating for bigger groups. Highly recommended!

Food was relay fresh and good with a very reach menu if you like Mediterranean food. i was not really happy with the welcome guy at the entrance and his attitude but once you pass him, you start with a drink on the Bar and enjoy an amazing food and service!!

We were visiting NYC and found this restaurant. When I called to make reservations, the restaurant was fully booked, but the girl who answered the phone suggested to come and sit in the bar area, which we did and we enjoyed it a lot. The food was OK, not great and very pricy but the atmosphere was very nice. One thing that was very apparent is the staff of this restaurant, everyone seemed so happy and they were all nice.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was second to none. We had the pleasure of having Jeffery serve us on the day and his recommendations were a joy. The ambience in the restaurant was fantastic. Thanks again ILILI and would love to done with you the next time we are in NYC!

The manager was extremely rude and unaccommodating when we held my brothers birthday. When we asked about a happy hour special we found online, he wouldn’t honor it. We were rudely told “this isn’t DC” Stay away - don’t recommend. Place is beautiful however.

Excellent place, very nice Mood. I asked the kibe to try. Very tasty. There is a good variety in the menu, you eat very well.

Cold apetizers are awsom, served with warm lebanese bread. But warm mezas are a disaster, everything is burnt, so it doesn’t taste like it could, unfortunately. Wine is expensive!

We had a two-generations couples dinner with friends and adult children. Loud vibe, fine (if not best ever) starters and meats, interesting cocktails. Wine list expensive for quality but good Spanish options. Really fun!

PROS Incredible wine list, excellent food, very good service and cool environment Priced rightly, well positioned, easy to find CONS A bit of confusion and too many people

Amazing lebanese food🤩🤩 loved the different takes on the familiar foods one could have already tried. The setting was also incredible. Well worth the hype and a must-visit on every trip to NY

Many better restaurants at much better prices. Mixed grill, $72, try A La Turka. Appetizers are ordinary and can be relished at any Eastern restaurant. Only one exception: the brussel sprout appetizer was wonderful but way too expensive.

Lebanese food - or mediterranean i would say... not the biggest fan of Lamb, but it was good. the Place is classy, I think you have to make reservations. when i first walked in, i was pleasantly greeted and since my party hadn't arrived, they escorted me to the bar/lounge area with comfortable seating til my party arrived. As the restaurant filled, it got quite noisy. tables are in an open area, so you will hear everyone's conversation. Both the appetizers and main courses were good. This place also serves well to someone vegan. for me, i tried everything. I stayed in lower manhattan, so i was able to walk to the restaurant without any problem. Give it a try if you like mediterranean food.

Customer accommodation was horrible . Since we walked on the host George treated us like we were begging .. I reserved 2 tables one of 9 and another one of 6 (they did advise that it's was not Guaranteed we will be seated close ) however when we arrived table of nine was seated and there was another table of 6 not so far that's was actually not occupied for over an hour after we arrived .. I kindly asked George (the host) if he can give us that table he aggressively said absolutely NO, without being flexible to the situation , he was rude and condescending knowing that the table of 6 was for 6 kids he did not accommodate us . The food is great the waiters were awesome but George has to change his demeanor.

THE outstanding Lebanese restaurant of New York. After a period where they tried fusion food, Ilili is back with more traditional Lebanese specialties. The Kebbe Naye - raw meat tartar- is to die for and no one does the Houmous like that in New York. Perfectly creamy. Amd I could go on. It can get quite noisy when it is crowded

The food is great, the atmosphere of the whole place is very festive, the staff is super nice. I went there with friends for my birthday and had a fantastic time. We ordered mezze (all delicious) and then shared a mixed grill with chicken, beef, kebabs and lamb. The meat was perfectly cooked, the accompanying sauces were delicious. I feel everything on the menu tastes good. Definitely have to go back to try more!

Ilili's food really is good - authentic Middle Eastern dishes, some with a bit of a twist. As a party of four we sampled a wide range of dishes; all were good (I lived in the region) and they tasted authentic). In terms of ambience, the place is incredibly loud - I was sitting next to my wife (at a round table) and couldn't hear 50% of what she said. All that aside, I looked up the two wines we tasted afterwards - marked up by more than 4x on the retail price. (The restaurant would have paid less, so assume ~5x). Our $100 bottle I could find for $23 nearby; a $65 bottle is $15 retail. New York is expensive, sure, and a restaurant in NY has high costs, but this seemed way beyond reasonable. If you live in the city, get the food to-go and find a nice wine at home.

This is a large and popular restaurant, but the noise level is much lower than you expect when you walk in and see the crowd by the bar. The menu has a lot of options; we decided to choose from the "mezze" section, which allowed us to dine tapas-style, with a wide selection of dishes. I'd single out the falafel (which were crispy without being at all greasy), the duck wrap and the chicken livers, which were prepared in a pomegranate reduction and were delicious. They also had a couple of Lebanese beers, which I tried. Not particularly good, frankly, but they help set the mood.

We're rarely disappointed by Middle Eastern food, but still this place was exceptional. I found the dishes less garlicky than usual, which brought out their other flavors and left less of an after-taste and no digestive upset. The hummus and baba were smooth, and the Mouhamara, recommended by our waiter for our lactose intolerant guest, was amazing. We really ended up with a little too much food, and the price was so right. The night before, we ate about 1/8 the amount of food at a Korean Tapas place and paid a good bit more. We also ate outside in the attractive, comfortable, semi-private booths with fans and curtains between tables. Our server, Noah, was amazing, giving us some great pointers and making us feel like old family friends. The easy payment method and detailed emailed receipt were also helpful. Fortunately for us, there's a branch in DC, so we hope to take some friends there soon.

Last minute Friday night decision to come here as close to our hotel. It was a great choice. Very busy, great atmosphere and warm welcome. Seated upstairs which was fine with us Good menu with lots of things I’d have loved to try. Sharing plates and we opted for prawns , filo stuffed with cheese, stuffed grape ( vine) leaves, shawarma wraps, fries. So good and a perfect amount to share. Managed a baclava for dessert. Excellent. Overall a great meal - definitely recommend

Was there midweek and I literally could not hear the person right next to me talk. There was a large table of young men across from us but the din was also sweeping across the entire area. Bad acoustics aside, the food was delicious. The salmon and trout perfectly prepared and had a wonderful ethnic seasonings. Prices are high to match the quality of the food. Place seemed to have a great bar business that we saw on the way to the table. So go for the food and save the conversation for later in the evening.

The place is very nicely decorated Plenty of waiters will come around to serve a big partie at the same time Food is ok, served slightly cold. Price is simply horrendous both regards to quality

A lovely spot that seems to be used a lot for dating! Anyway, we enjoyed our time there. Some of the dishes we selected were truly mouth watering and delicious. Others were well presented, but had less of a wow factor. Overall though a very solid place to visit and dine.

Very elegant dinner I had with my gf. I enjoyed the ambience and the food. A high quality spot located in the heart of NYC. Would definitely recommend

5 dishes, few drinks and coffees for lunch. $ 200 incl tips. Nice dishes, good original taste. Nice setting with friendly staff. But the price...... really a lot for good, but simple food.

Really really good dishes. Get easily packed so must reserve ahead (nice bar too). Trendy, high quality, big choice. Definitely pricey, considering the simplicity and reasonably low cost of most of ingredients of Lebanese food, and I feel preparations do not fully justify it (5th Ave rental probably does)

I went to illi with a friend for Easter, we were so impressed with the restaurant, the ambiance the music the service and especially the FOOD OMG so good like homemade, from start to finish the dessert was special the unique easter egg was yummy. But what made the whole evening complete & special was the hospitality of the manager Jason Oh he is so professional & quite the gentleman knows how to treat his customers and make them feel at home content & satisfied we left there feeling very happy, I returned with another friend the following week and was happy to refer all my friends to illi. Thank you, Hana

We have been a fan of Ilili for many years. Today’s family lunch for 7 was a disappointment. The French fries were double fried (burnt), the aubergine was too salty, the fattoush had no taste… it is still Lebanese authentic cuisine but unfortunately today the chef may have taken a break. Lastly, it has become so expensive it is literally highway robbery for what you get. Tiny dishes for $$$ and a mixed grill dish for $82 with few pieces of meat. But you do get baked bread a go-go (I guess to make up for the lack of food servings). Advice: increase servings or reduce prices. Improve taste.

The food I ordered first was great: Taboule, kibbeh, lebanese French fries with garlic, and falafel. We ordered the Black cod and rice plater, and I was not impressed, I gave it a B. Pita bread was great and VERY fresh. The price is on the high side for sure; but this is New York City. Ambiance: The place is a bit noisy, but from what I saw, it is very clean, and the server was very friendly. I would come back and definitely recommend it to someone who wants to experience lebanese food.

I had one of the worst restaurant experiences at Ilili on Valentine’s day dinner. I write reviews on 5 different platforms. As per today I have over 20 million views on my reviews. I write them with my own name. No screen name. I owned 15 restaurants over 22-year span in NYC. So you could imagine I know few things about restaurants. So many things were wrong. Walk up to the host table. Not a friendly girl with glasses took 10 minutes to sit us down. 2 parties came behind us were sat very promptly by other hosts. If you are not a people’s person pls don't become a host. Then she sat us by the kitchen door. So it was like having dinner at cross Bronx expressway all night. Banging doors, breaking plates to staff having conversations, name it. So far 0 for 2. Then I find out they are not serving any Lebanese food, which I love. I had a reservation at NOUGATINE by JEAN-GEORGES. I canceled that to come here. Because I go to JG restaurants often. I am a big fan of JG. Then find out whole bunch of shellfish on the 1st course. I can’t eat shell fish. 0-3. I get my glass of red wine; my wife's drink is not here. Waited 10 minutes and flag a server down and get my wife's drink. Rule No#1. You bring all the drinks at once. 0-4. Restaurant was over staffed. When is over staffed no one is attending to you. At this point I am done. But I kept a straight face just not to spoil our Valentine’s day dinner. Food was just less than OK. They were trying to do JG version or French ish. Didn't work for me. 0-5. Best thing about the night was Bernardino the server and Paul, who could be floor supervisor or a host I believe. When Paul asked me how the food was, I told him the truth. Also, I got free parking right across the street. I came to Ilili to have Lamb shank. Ended up eating 2 tiny pieces of lamb was not good at all. After spending $500 for 2 you should be satisfied. NOPE. Why 2 stars? Because my wife didn't mind the food. Famous restaurateur once told me, stay in your lane. don't forget how you got there. To end the night on a positive note, went to Bowery bar for a drink and Mamouns on McDougal to have a NYC's best shawarma. By the way I was still hungry after spending $500. I am not even a big eater. There are close to 30000 restaurants in NYC. There is no reason to have bad food or experiences. Cheers.

Lunch meeting with 2 friends. First time visiting here. Impressed with cleanliness, pleasant surroundings, delicious food beautifully presented. Server was excellent and full of information about the restaurant. We probably overstayed our welcome but we were introduced to the owner and enjoyed hearing about his culinary education and work history in the food business. He is truly passionate about preparing and serving deliciousness! We’ll be back!

Overall the experience was good. Coming from Lebanon and having expose to the authentic Lebanese food, this restaurant is worth trying.

Very elegant place with excellent food. The meat was super tender and tasty. Very friendly service, price ok. Highly recommended

It was a family dinner and we all loved it. The decoration of the place is very elegant, the service is excellent and the food is exquisite. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and we really liked them all.

cool lobby area, nice bar, clean restrooms. we had mezze and cocktails. the cauli, tahini/labneh dish was amazing. we also enjoyed the hummus and grape leaves. also the white coffee (orange blossom water and hot water) was delish!

Great find during restaurant week Winter 2020 with a hip scene and excellent food and service. We relaxed at the bar before our table was ready and there are also couches to sit and eat and drink. The choices for the 3 course price fix were plentiful as was the amount of food. We also ordered off the regular menu and everything was great. We will definitely be back here in the future.

A beautiful venue, dimly lit and wood panelling with an inviting ambience but unfortunately, the experience falls short. The service was slow and inefficient; we had to track down the server for basic requests like food and more drinks. The Lebanese food was decent but unremarkable, comparable to any standard Lebanese restaurant and the for the standard of food was way overpriced. The lamb kebabs (see photo), leaves little to the imagination and the chef should really think about plating them in a different way! Overall, not really worth a visit.

Just came back from a 3-hour feast at Ilili. I almost didn’t want to review this place bc then the word will get out even more... They recently implemented a tasting menu which offers a variety of mezze, an entree, sides, and dessert. All diners at the table have to participate in the tasting menu if you are gonna for it. We asked a lot of questions regarding the dishes, and our server was kind and patient and helpful. The food: I’d say there were about 10 mezze/appetizer dishes. A salad, some pickled items, hummus, moussaka, lamb sausage, steak tartar, falafel, cauliflower... every dish was delish!! Oh the pita was nice and fluffy. Then the entree and sides came. Two of the three of us had the scallops— tasty, tender. One had the lamb chop and I believe she liked it too. The sides were fries and Brussels sprouts with grapes and walnuts. A nice complement. For dessert I had the Ilili Candy bar— a halva type dessert with a dollop of ice cream. Highly recommend! The decor reflects simple elegance. Attractive bar too. Equally impressive was the service!! We liked the fact that it was a team of well- coordinated staff who served and took care of us, as in Chinese restaurants. Not the traditional American way where you almost have to go through your designated waiter for every big and little thing. I dine out in Manhattan in nice restaurants every week so I know my service. This is one of the most polished yet polite and friendly teams I have ever interacted with. None of the snooty attitude that’s annoying and unfortunately a bit too frequent in fine dining establishments. I liked this place when I came here about a year ago; I enjoy and appreciate it even more now :). FYI the tasting menu is $72 pp, which is a steal given the quality and quantity. But I did a la carte last time, and it was lovely too. In conclusion: Go! No, run to Ilili. The team will assist you in ordering the dishes, and have fun trying them.

Food was excellent and waiters very attentive. We had the Mouhamara and the aubergine/eggplant for starters, both dishes were really good. For main course we got the lamb shank which was excellent! Only problem was that was too much food, we couldn’t even eat half of it. Consider skipping the starters if you’re getting the lamb shank. Only critisism is that there is a lot of noise and echo due to the design of the restaurant. But would still go again another time, due to the excellent food and service.

I loved the restaurant style with the wooden panels. The food is real Lebanese. Great generous portions and an extensive wine list. The tabouleh and hummus had a bit too much lemon for my taste, but it had a fresh taste. All in all Recommendable.

Crazy busy but seated us right on time. Sat at the bar. Very helpful in choosing a wine. Food was great. Loved the brussels sprouts and kibbeh.

The varied menu includes some very unusual dishes, each one a pleasant surprise. Mediterranean, Lebanese and more ! You can start with appetizers or create a whole meal around them. We were seated upstairs where, though energetically noisy, you could still have a normal conversation. The wine list was also really interesting, including a very enjoyable Lebanese rose'.

Well I don’t even know where to start. The front hostesses were pretty with no brain.s. I had used the restroom there before I was seated. My family was seated and I asked one of the hostesses where my family was seated. I gave here the reservation name and she told me she didn’t know where they were seated. After scanning and looking through the restaurant for 15 minutes I finally found them on the second floor. The waiter was horrible. I told him my entree was cold. I wanted him to warm it up and he refused to do so because it’s to be served room temperature. I couldn’t eat cold meat dumplings in a soup. He said to eat it with the rice which was extra by the way. Asked for manager and told him that the waiter argued that he couldn’t serve it hotter than room temperature He asked if I wanted something else and took it off the bill Asked the server for the bill 3 times and he ignored me walking by. Finally the bill arrives, guess what he gave me another tables bill. Read the bad reviews stating overpriced mediocre food, poor and rude service.

I was in NY over nite and friend took me to ilili libanese restaurant,if you can get a reservation you’ll enjoy your diner great food kebbee falafel and other delicious treat which I can’t remember the name Very nice staff and service I will go back and back when in NY

I visited this interesting Lebanon restaurant for a group dinner. It was very crowded, suggestive of good quality. A bit dim inside, but with atmosphere of hospitality. We ordered quite a few dishes, accompanied with puffed pancake. The flavor was typical middle-east. I enjoyed eggplant, Brussel spouts, and prawns. The server was very kind and enthusiastic. Worth a try.

I don’t usually write reviews but ilili was simply put spectacular! Waiter (Vlad) was extremely patient and explained every item to a tee. The food was delicious (highly recommend the meat platter for two) and atmosphere was nice as well. We will be returning!

We were returning after we had a great lunch on our last trip to New York. This year it did not disappoint. There was lots of great food, and great service. Our waiter, Nassar, guided us through the newest items on the menu. He was knowledgeable and his recommendations were spot on for our tastes. The only negative, is it is VERY loud & sometimes difficult to talk. That didn’t seem to discourage any of the “30 somethings” who were sitting on the low foot stools in the bar. We will be returning again before we leave, this time for lunch. Hopefully, it won’t be quite so noisy. Be sure to make reservations. This is a very popular restaurant.

The food is great but I especially love their cocktails. Definitely will be going back when I am in NYC. The first time - we ate in the big hall, second time - at the bar, third time - we ate on the second floor. I liked the second floor area best as it was a calm atmosphere compared to the previous two.

We have visited many Mediterranean countries and many Mediterranean restaurants in the USA. The food here is the best of the best. We had eight people and ordered and shared almost everything on the menu and it was all outstanding. We will eat at ilili every time in the City.

Very good dishes, the portions are very correct. The classics of Lebanese cuisine are very well executed. Downside on cocktails that are very expensive and very small.

Visited this place again. Always go back on every trip to NYC. Love their Brussels sprouts and falafel and baba ghanoush. I am sure there are many delicacies for the non vegetarians as well.

Ilili is a great restaurant, perfect for large parties. The food is delicious, especially the mezze (lebanese appetizers). To be honest, 2/3 mezze per person to dhare is more than enough!

We ordered several small platters with Hummus, Baba Ghannouj, Labne, Chankleesh, Kibbe Pumpkin. all of them were good but a bit basic and 'regular'. We did enjoy the food but it felt a bit 'boring'. Service was good.

If you like to enjoy mediterranean food this is the right place ! Food is fresh and delicious, they way everyone likes!

I came here with three other work colleagues for dinner a night before a work event per a recommendation. I have to say the food was incredible. We trusted our appetizers and main entree to the server's recommendations and he didn't steer us wrong. The food was nicely paced providing different mediterranean dishes. After appetizers and the main entry we moved on to a special dessert dish that was quite tasty. The atmosphere was active and lively (not too loud), didn't have to wait too long once we got there to sit down, and the server was attentive and fun to be around. Overall a great experience.

Was staying nearby and after a late night at Hamilton, was pleased to see a good restaurant open, not just convenience and fast food outlets. Just had a gnocchi, which was both ordinary and expensive for the quality. Hard to find service to take an order and no service afterwards.

The food is really good BUT if you are couple...forget about the romantic dinner: table for 2 are sent on the second floor which is just a random and ugly room which has nothing to do with the main room that you see on the website page...And even the nice music does not reach the 2nd floor. You pay full price for half the travel....unacceptable. Go there only if you are more than 2. For the romance ....look away!

This restaurant has lasted nearly 30 years, no small feat. Service is good. The brunch menu did not appeal to me however. I would try again or go three doors south to ThisBowl.

Went here with a group of 9 people which allowed us to try so many different small plates. Great service, food, wine. Highly recommend

Winter in the City. This Lebanese Mediterranean restaurant is simply excellent! All the classic Lebanese Mediterranean fare is on offer. This was our first visit and yes, I would return there in a heartbeat. I had the duck & chicken shawarma to start which was warped in roti like an ice cream cone with garlic sauce....to die for! Main course was the grilled chicken breast and thigh chunks, grilled Lebanese style and perfectly too!, with okras, artisan tomatoes, onions and spinach leaves. The chunks of chicken breast and thighs are grilled perfectly...I do not say that lightly (as someone who rarely orders chicken in a restaurant, owing to a great wife who can cook her ass off!). The chicken breast and thigh chunks are tender and juicy and grilled and Smokey tasting. Oh, and then there was the fries....the best French fries you have ever tasted, thick and tossed in garlic salt and herbs. Too - die - for! Two thumbs up!

ILILI is a lovely restaurant offering excellent food and wait staff that made helpful and knowledgeable recommendations. Leisurely dinner for six was tended to with courteous and attentive service. Great menu choices and comfortable atmosphere, smart lighting and decor. Lebanese dishes prepared with care. We ordered many small plates to share which made it fun and interesting. Delicious! First time and we will return.

Went for a Father`s day brunch. Had nine maza`s. Some were good. Service was excellent-friendly, efficient and courteous. We had very high expectations for authentic Lebanese food, probably we had to lower expectations. some of the dishes were "americanized" and resembled comparable food that I had many times in Lebanon only by name. bur...overall reasonable experience.

I have been to Ilili twice now and enjoyed it both times. Today I need to find a place for brunch that would take a table of six on short notice (yikes!). I was able to easily make reservations the night before at 9:00pm, just be ready to hold with a credit card, cancellations fees may apply—so don’t make plans unless your brunch buddies are serious. The whole experience was very standard, except for the food, which was a fun break form your classic brunch. They have so many great options from shakshuka, to zatar spices Eggs Benedict, and classics like hummus. Take advantage by getting the pre-fix meal for $31.00. It comes with a main, side, non-alcohol drink and then mimosa. It’s a great deal.

Very fine restaurant with great service! Never had Lebanese food before so was a little nervous but couldn't have been more pleased. Waiters are very helpful with first time customers to assist in making food choices based on likes/dislikes. Upscale atmosphere but fun & relaxed. Would recommend to any foodie!

My son took us to this restaurant, the service staff were very good from start to finish The food was fresh and delicious, the flavours of some of dishes were amazing. The baba ghannouj had a lovely smoky taste, loved it We loved every moment here and will return next time in New York.

If you're dining alone and loud and boisterous is your thing, then this is the place for you! It's so noisy that you can eaves drop on everyone else's conversation and feel a part of it all. If you're going with anyone else, you will have to text one another to communicate unless. of course, you don't mind screaming at the top of your lungs like everyone else. The food is tasty, albeit expensive. The drink prices are absurdly high. All in all, I wouldn't go back. There are loads of places to dine that won't burst your ear drums and break the bank.

Great and true to its origin lebanese restaurant. Service was amazing and food divine. The waiters really know the menu and provide great advice on what to eat. Ambience and decor is on point.

We came here for a late dinner. Ambiance: The restaurant is beautiful and very big. It looks like it would be a great place to host a large party of people. Service: I thought the service was fine. Nothing extraordinary, but still good. Food: The food was good. The item that did stand out was the pita bread. It came out warm and was beautifully soft and tasted fresh. Also, the Mouhmara dip was well seasoned and unique. The falafel was good but tasted like most falafels I've had. We got the fattoush salad as it's one of our favorite mediterranean dishes and it was good but again nothing that stood out. The chankleesh and tabbouleh were fine but under-seasoned. Price: High. For the type of vegetarian food being served I did find the prices to be high. There was nothing unique or even nostalgic tasting in the dishes to warrant the prices. Overall, I felt like the whole evening was okay, nothing too memorable really. Not sure if I'd come back. There are other Mediterranean places I've been to that were much better.

For some 30+ years we've had the pleasure of experiencing Peter Kelly's restaurants and cooking; he is a treasure and hands down has been the most creative and overall very best chef and ownerin the Hudson Valley (including NYC) when one considers his prior must visit places Xaviers, Freelance and Restaurant X in Rockland and now his pinnacle, X20 in Yonkers where he grew up. We recently were able to experience his newly updated Sunday brunch in the remodeled dining room with expanded seating. It was wonderful and special in two appropriate words including the peak leaf peep setting on the deck where one could gaze over the river with the City and GW bridge to the left and the new TZ glimmering to the right. The day we were there, the Palisades straight ahead was ablaze with color and drinking in the clean air on the deck was even better than one of their crisply served drinks. But inside there was magic too, with a wonderful filling brunch served by a plentiful group of young and earnest staff in crisp matching outfits, perhaps as organized thru local schools? In truth a perfectly prepared, delicious and presented repast and memorable day with old friends as prepped with wisdom by twinkly eyed Peter Kelly!!

Great! We had our dinner here and it was amazing. The food was as good as the cocktails Served and the service was excellent (friendly and attentive). The prices are a bit high (paid approx. 150$ for four Mezzas and four Drinks) but it was absolutely worth it.

Love everything about this place. Suitable for all types of activities....business lunch or family dinner. Delicious food all the time.

We booked this after a Turkish friend recommended it given our love of Lebanese food. We were not disappointed. On being seated the waiter however was a rude person, very abrupt. We advised the restaurant host who could not have been more accommodating. He ended up personal serving us and walked us through the menu giving his thoughts on the size of the order and what foods would pair well. We were not disappointed. From beautiful chicken livers to hummus with lamb and numerous dishes in between were left more than satisfied. We will return and special thanks to the host who treated us like royalty. Thank you!

Everything has vinegar, onions and. garlic. Not suitable for a date!!! Attentive service, pleasant ambiance steep bill.

Excellent food, great service and wonderful ambience. Must try the duck Shawarma. The muhammara dip was out of this world.

The atmosphere was really welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. I tried their hummus and lamb chops, and both were amazing—the flavors were spot on. The hummus was so creamy and fresh, and the lamb was perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, so we definitely didn’t leave hungry. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of the food and the overall experience made it worth it.

Discovered Ilili over past couple on months and been coming here every week or so. Consistently great and every dish is worth trying. Love the black iron shrimps especially though, an even better take on Spanish gumbas tapas

Great place, good food, good wine. Wonderful moment. As expected. A place I would recommend, for sure. Just go for it, and enjoy !

We stumbled across this gem by chance, and are we glad we did! Great service, food and wines! One of our faves now!

I have been visiting Ilili Restaurant every few years since it opened nearly 10 years ago. The food is still well prepared, well presented and tasty; although, I did notice that the menu has been Americanized to be less Lebanese. The prices have also skyrocketed. The service is still very attentive. And the atmosphere is the same. Would I dine here again? Maybe. I may choose another Lebanese restaurant. Would I recommend it to others. Yes, with caveats.

Been here a few times now. The food is consistently good!! Its very loud though. so not ideal for a romantic dinner. Its great to go with friends !

This is the first restaurant I've been to in a while where I was made to feel that I wasn't stylish enough for the place. When we were seated, we were handed menus, but not asked if we wanted a drink. We could have saved ourselves a lot of money if we had just had the water. I asked 3 times for a martini. The last time I asked, I said: "I asked for a martini ten minutes ago" to which the waiter replied, "No, you asked for it 6 minutes ago." If I hadn't been with a friend that I hadn't seen in a long time, I would have gotten up and left. It is noisy , but the food is very good. I don't think I'll go back unless I have to.

Outstanding Lebanese food. Chicken taouk was awesome Rice surprised us - very nice Fatoush salad - was okay. Not the best. But overall exceptional

Bring your phone so that you can text your dinner companion who won’t be able to hear a word you’re saying over the cacophony if noisy diners! The food is tasty, but the service slow, albeit friendly, and the prices stupidly high. The bar looked like a good place to meet people who know sign language or are happy to text you vs having an actual conversation. We won’t be going back.

Lebanese restaurant discovered by chance during one of our evening tours around New York. When we arrived they didn't have any tables available so while we waited they offered us a glass of wine and we waited in the lobby on one of their sofas. Soft atmosphere, very romantic and elegant, wooden tables and scenic dishes (as well as delicious). Very friendly and polite staff, fast service.

Don’t get the Sancerre! Cocktails are good. Food is nothing to write home about. It’s I guess too much of a factory to produce quality (I don’t know how many tables they have, but it’s a lot!). The only thing half decent was the duck wrap and the babaganoush. I guess people go for the experience, but don’t expect quality food. And definitely don’t get the Sancerre. Until today I was under the impression that there were no bad bottles of Sancerre, but I was clearly wrong!

Stayed nearby and found this place vi trip advisor. Previous reviews were spot on. Excellent food, service and setting. Staff knowledgable about menu and helped is to balance our choices.

I had visited this restaurant two times .I loved the food and also service was good as well .It is very crowded and noisy place but deffinetly deserve to try.Their price is little bit higher than the other restourant .

My wife and I had never tried Lebanese food before, and needed a place for lunch between experiences we had planned that day. It was a hot day, so we decided to stop at Ilili for some lunch and a few drinks. We saw right away that it was a very expensive decision, with bottles of beer priced at $16 each. We decided to stay anyway expecting the food to be incredible. After we ordered, the waitress has to come back to the table 3 times to clarify our order. No big deal, but a little frustrating because it made it feel like she didn't listen to us first time around. While waiting for our food, a family of 6 sat on our table next to us with small children yelling and playing around bumping the tables. The staff simply watched on and did nothing to move them on, or ask if they needed service. Eventually someone approached them and they moved on. When the food came, I was shocked at how small the portions are. To put this into context, we paid $100 for 2 bottles of beer, a burger and some avocado on toast. The avocado on toast was sub par, with an odd sour taste (I assume something in the salad dressing). The burger was ok. I wouldn't go back, and unless you're a big fan of Lebanese food and have very deep pockets, I would give it a miss.

Best Lebanese I’ve found in NYC. Not as good however as what you can find in London. Setting is hip and chicken livers are creamy and very well done. Halloumi was disappointing. Lebanese wine was a good choice surprisingly! A little expensive but we were not rushed even though it was a very busy night - so I forgave the fact the gallium I was not quite good enough and the cauliflower dish was disappointing.

This is quite popular and busy Middle Eastern/Lebanese place in NoMad. We came early and sat in the lounge area for drinks and small plates/mezza. It was fairly quiet for a while, but then the noise level was going up and up. Difficult to talk. The atmosphere and decor are quite pleasant, the service was pleasant and friendly, but slow. Too busy! We did enjoy the food, no complaints whatsoever. We ordered some mezza, appetizers, and few other items to share. Invariably good. Drinks were quite good too. The cost was certainly high, as expected. That was my second visit, and I hope to be back and have proper dinner.

BEWARE. The prices aren't correct. Three of us went for dinner and ordered ONE Mixed Grill ($82) but were billed for three (over $240). Incoherent and vague excuses for the overbilling. What should have been a lovely birthday dinner ended up being an overpriced meal. Spoiled the evening. We tried to follow up the restaurant but got only incoherent excuses. An almost $500 dinner for three of us (not big eaters) is an abomination. Shame on you, ILILILILI!

We were there on Friday for lunch and it was just amazing! Really great food. Definitely recommend this place.

Authentic Lebanese food reminds me of Lebanon ! very tasty , great wine list , friendly staff A must in NYC

A menu full of Lebanese options with a twist. Bar offers a wide variety of spirits. Bar staff was a little slow to serve however food service was great. Waiters were attentive. Several selections from mezzas to full plated meals.

Absolutely horrible place, never going again. We had a group for a birthday party and chose a bottle of wine at the beginning of the night. Every time someone would drink a sip, the servers would come and top us off. No one saw the bottom of their glass that evening and had no way of tracking how many glasses they drank. Normally, when a server tops you off it’s from the same bottle that’s already opened, and when you finish the bottle they ask if you want another one (or a different one). They NEVER communicated this with us. At the end of the night, they charged us for 14 bottles of wine when the servers NEVER told us when we finished our bottle and NEVER opened up a new bottle in front of us so we had no way to keep track. We had 10 people drinking and no one was drunk - there was absolutely no way each person had a bottle of wine and more for themselves. When we asked to see corks they didn’t show us. They served us like we were part of some all you can drink unlimited brunch and yet charged us for all of it without any communication in between bottles. Complete cheap, third world scam. Food isn’t good enough to justify ever going again. My family is in the restaurant business and I’m absolutely sure this place is getting away with scamming people. You can find better food and better service elsewhere.

Ilili is such a lovely spot in New York! The vibe is cozy and elegant, perfect for a nice dinner or special evening out. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The food was very good. Full of flavour and beautifully presented. Everything we tried tasted fresh and well-prepared. Overall, a great experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for delicious Mediterranean / Lebanese cuisine.

The setting was open and airy yet also quiet and private. The food was very good. The service was impeccable, servers were attentive, accomodating, yet not intrusive. PS, "family" consisted of all adult siblings.

The restaurant has good food and a nice atmosphere. There are a lot of small plates on the menu so it is a good menu for groups. The pita bread that comes with many of the dishes is fantastic.

Very very noisy, impossible to have conversation. Normal food. Team very kind. Manager of the restaurant absolutely unpolite. Very expensive.

We had been to Ilili many years before and had a fabulous experience. so naturally we wanted to return - this time the hostess was coolish to us had us waiting even though we had a reservation and it was not that busy. then we were taken to the back room and squeesed into a very small table in a corner - the room had no ambiance and the table barely enough room to sit the 4 of us and right on top of the neigboring table -- very tight! -- the server was fine - she tried her best -- lots of servers but not enough service. Drinks were ok - the food was less then average - the pitta was dry and the food just blah -- not satisfying or memorable -- we paid a lot of money for sub par meal and not even a great atmosphere. -- we felt that we were in a regular diner - why are they packing in so many people in the back room? where there is no ambiance at all - -will not return

I have been to Ilili several times and the experience has always been great, which is why I return. Unfortunately tonight, it was terrible. The food was fantastic but our server was so bad it ruined the entire experience. When asked about the brunch and could we get a reservation for the next day, he replied that it wasn't his job and to ask at the end of the meal to the person whose job it was. Although this may have been the case, it was the attitude in which it was stated. After a 2 hour and 15 min meal, and a 30% tip, he then came to us and asked us to leave as there were other people waiting to be seated. If this is the policy of the restaurant, then they should reconsider it, in 15 years of dining out in NYC, I have never had a time limit at a restaurant, especially a nice one. I can understand if we had been then for hours but alittle over 2 hours on a few hundred dollar check is hardy loitering. I would recommend this restaurant for the food with the caveat that only if you want to dine on a time limit.

This is neither a great nor a bad restaurant Very average food, decent service, priced on the high side but not that much higher than other similar restaurants in the area Their strength is sharing apps and they are basically OK but not the chicken livers! Mains are limited - again, OK but far from memorable.. not much else to say

Excellent food. Wonderful service and atmosphere. We all enjoyed the meal very much. Easy walk from subway station I highly recommend the restaurant.

A raw kibbeh dish (beef instead of lamb?) and a tabbouli cost me $50. Food was fine but to bill traditional Lebanese food at such prices by calling it 'creative cuisine' is rather pretentious.

I had the pleasure of hosting my team here in late August for dinner and drinks and it did not disappoint. We were adventurous and had the waiter pick out our small plates. Great meal and great atmosphere.

The setting is friendly and everything started well, until the bartender spilled a cocktail on me: flooded roadbook, soiled clothes... we had to ask for napkins, and the only compensation offered was to order a another drink! In short, a very bad experience.

I've dined at ilili several times over the years. The food is good but over-priced. The noise level is high so it is difficult trying to have a conversation with friends whom you have not seen in years. I need to find another restaurant. The service is good and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Best baba ghanouj and falafel in ages. Delicious lamb chops. Reasonable prices. There is a nice bar. Comida libanesa deliciosa e preço compatível. Bar anexo

After flying into EWR and taking the train to Penn Station, we made our way to this wonderful restaurant. They gladly checked our two bags and we were seated promptly. The wait staff were both attentive and helpful. We chose the duck shawarma, which was delicious, the flatiron shrimp - which were deliciously seasoned with both jalapeño and cilantro, the cauliflower and cheese rolls. It was all quite tasty, very reasonably priced, and all in our party of four we’re wonderfully gratified by this Lebanese cuisine.

Very good Lebanese food. All entrees were delicious, the eggplant was my favorite. The hummus was delicious. Service is good. Buy there so much noise that is hard to hear each other at the table

Incredible taste! Great presentations! Lovely ambience !! Just enjoyed the flavours of the food and relished everything. It was made to perfection! Just wish they had some more types of flavoured hummous and also some varieties of pita Barring that every dish we ordered was great We ordered a falafel wrap, hummous, labneh and fattoush. The fattoush was exceptional! Everything was perfect was two people in terms of quantity . Reservation is recommended

Hello today I made a reservation for party of 5 in Ilili Lebanese restaurant in NYC It’s a shame you the two girls at the entrance and the captain treat is It was a big big rain outside and they want to seated us there because they told us we made the reservation for outside. And this was because their website in opentable only have us that option and the restaurant when we arrive was empty in both of their floors they told us that they only allow us to stay till 7:30 on that table and we agree but the misses from the reception told the captain to change us to a bigger table And because we refuse they menace to call the police. It’s a shame this people and that you have your service with this kind of restaurant The waiter Alex is a very very good person employee and everything nothing like the racism of the reception and captain because we are Latin people and they also . Really a shame

the size of the restaurant surprised us and the fact it was completely full, we managed to get a table in the lounge area, very good selection of drinks and mezzes, very very good ambiance to catch up with family and friends great selection of vegetarian and the taste is impeccable definitely will go back whenever in new york

Highly recommend this restaurant. What a pleasure to dine where the customer is treated as though they are valued and respected. Every dish was fabulous, but, the whole roasted fish was unforgettable. We absolutely will return.

We have the opportunity to dine at Ilili restaurant. It is a beautiful place with several rooms and a bar in the flatiron district of Manhattan. We enjoyed appetizers of hummus, baba ghannouj, and moussaka. We shared entrees of falafel, beef shawarma, lamb chops, stuffed grape leafs and the mixed grill. Everything dish was authentic and delicious. The service was attentive and great. The restaurant was crowded and was noisy. The drinks were good and very pricey. Bottom line: This is a fantastic high priced Lebanese restaurant.

Absolutely great experience, the food is just delicious! If you are looking for authentic, and beautifully served middle eastern dishes, this is definitely a place to check out. On top of that, the staff was really friendly and professional. We will definitely come back :)

On recommendation from a friend turned up with a work colleague with no reservation. They were very busy but very accommodating & fitted us in with seats on the bar. It doesn't sound great, but in fact these were the best seats in the house because you could talk to the staff about the food, what they'd recommend and what was best to drink with it. The most memorable thing has to be the Duck schawarma wraps, washed down by Lebanese wine. I can't comment on dining at a table but if eating at the bar is anything to go by.....

Our party of three requested and seated in one of the outside covered areas where one was essentially isolated on one's own cocoon. Started with cocktails which include a nice selection of non-alcohol ones that tasted delicious almost better than the alcohol laden ones. For our party we ordered 6 dishes that were brought out tapas style and shared. We had plenty of food and a great mixture of meat and vegetarian offerings.

I booked a month ago for a dinner at Ilili, coming from out of state (would be my 3rd time at this restaurant). My booking was at 7:15. NYC was furious with traffic and Uber could not navigate so left the cab to walk. As my text message screenshot shows (Google filtered it out. I’ll try Open Table) I alerted the restaurant. They changed my reservation to 7:30 with a grace period of 15 min. They texted table ready. I responded “1” as I was few min away. Walked in the door at 7:44. Within my grace period. Waitress walks me up a stair and I find myself seated in a dinky attic like space near a bathroom (photo 1). Felt like a worst fast food space. When I voiced concern, the hostess answered “booking does not guarantee where we seat you, enjoy”. Follows a manager handing me a business card and advising “email me personally when you’re in town next and I will guarantee you’re seated in a nice table”. News: there won’t be a next time. Next time I pay 150 $ a person as I did, it will be in a respectable institution that seats me properly (Like in those 2 photos, one of which is your actual dining hall, the other Nobu). Before I wrap up, shout out to my server Mathew. Did a great job. As to the manager, her “email me before you fly in town next time” is the worst dismissive, condescending customer service move ever ! I don’t care about next time. I cared not to dine in an attic, by a bathroom THIS TIME !

As expected food was authentic and good. pricey though. service was good. the big problem is that in the upstairs small room i was seating were i can see the wc door, and most of my dinner time the door was not shut and i can see the toilet seat. Reallyyy......!!!!

Great Nite and great dinner at Ilili , beautiful restaurant and our waitress Lapna was super attentive , Friendly Hummus , Brussels sprouts and eggplant were delicious . My Salmon was ok . We need to back to try few more appetizers and entree’s. They are vegetarian and vegan friendly .

Amazing food paired with incredible wines. Portions are generous so sharing is a great option, order as you eat :)

My flat bread I didn’t like, they didn’t charge it. The place is very busy and too much noisy. The food is good, all hummus and metze was good but for my taste all is too much salty. The waiter with a lot of experience, Spanish speaking very nice.

We were told there was a 2 hour wait for a table. Offered to sit us immediately in the bar. Service was excellent and so we're the drinks.
Excellent food in a noisy environment.
Fantastic Lebanese fares. One surpassing the other. Fresh and well prepared. Noisy and somewhat chaotic. Reserve.
