On a cold winter day we stepped in for lunch before a theater matinee. Felt warmed by the cozy yet not at all crowded vibe. Even if all tables had been filled, I would not have felt crowded. I wanted Sushi, my lunch partner does not like fish so had the Grilled Chicken Don. Miso soup or a small salad included. Both dishes delicious.. easy to sit back with a beer and savor the flavors. Very nice presentation, Pleasant, attentive staff. There when we needed them, but never felt rushed. Prices ever so reasonable, and we were able to step out and cross the street to the theater.. One of the nicest afternoons I have spent in the city in a while!

We were looking for a little affordable sushi restaurant and this is a gem!!! This very cozy and friendly spot is a real gem! We were greeted us as if we were old friends… and the service was excellent. To top it off, the sushi was fabulous tasty and very very fresh. My husband who is not much of a raw fish guy was very willing to polish off some of my sushi:sahimi platter… His chicken teriyaki was great. His Japanese style Ceasar salad was very good too… Upon leaving, the lovely manager (perhaps owner) couldn’t have been more gracious! We will mark this place and come back again!!! It’s right off Broadway near The Ed Sullivan Theatre! Do go ans enjoy!!!

Found this new sushi place while looking for something good and interesting on quiet holiday weekend Sunday night. Quality of food and service were excellent and reasonable pricing. Menu is broad enough to cover most diners but not too big. Only caveat at the moment is they haven't a liquor license yet but fortunately we had already done apps and happy hour before diner, and could work around this. Look forward to visiting again on next NYC visit.

The restaurant is very well located in the Midtown region. The service is primordial: the attendant gave us dish tips and was very friendly suggesting a good saké. Food is made, well served portions. Friendly restaurant, without affectation and with good cost benefit for what it offers in terms of quality. We liked it so much that we came back 2 times.

This restaurant is 4 months open and we highly recommend going!! Absolutely delicious, fresh sushi and sashimi. I highly recommend choosing the sushi appetizers for their flavorful sauces and lightness. I feel that the fluke appetizer was my favorite due to The lightness and cleansing of the palate-i could’ve eaten more! The tuna carpaccio was so good too. Oh and that sesame crusted seared tuna-I wanted to lick the plate-I know frowned upon but that sauce!!! My husband who is closed minded about sushi found the appearance of the sushi so appealing he tried some. He was not let down. I was thrilled that it was a great experience for him. We ordered two platters the combo platter of sushi and sashimi along with the dynamite platter. We shared those two among three people and it was enough. My husband ordered the shrimp fried rice which not a morsel left on his plate. We ordered a Togo chicken fried rice for our other daughter who loved its flavor too. The owner was so kind to us and we were delighted he was interested in how we liked their food. He brought us mochi for dessert. The mango is the sweetest my least favorite but my husband’s favorite. The green tea was my daughter’s favorite - more earthy flavor but a clean flavor. And hands down my favorite and my son-in-law’s favorite was the black sesame mochi!! I would ordered that delightful mochi again. I may go bank again for lunch before we leave NYC and go back to Florida.

We were surprised. We stayed at the adjoining hotel (Hilton garden inn) and found it interesting to go and did not disappoint us! Excellent quality of sushi and food in general. Very good service too. We'd be back anyway!

Value for money staff friendly, variety of dumplings and rice. There is a 3% charge if you use a card. Disappointed if the cleanliness of the toilet especially when staff are sat about on their phones.

We went out wondering looking for a restaurant close to our accommodation and happened upon this fantastic little restaurant. The food is delicious and reasonably priced (for NYC). Staff were efficient and friendly and nothing appeared to be a problem. We were so happy with it we returned two nights later! Try the 'Rainbow Roll' .. yum! Actually, we couldn't fault any of the food we ordered.

Very cozy place and excellent service. Very tasty food. An excellent place to eat good sushi. No crowding. Very good homemade desserts.

First, the staff and service was fantastic! Next, I had a Dynamite Roll and Fresh Spicy Scallops…really good. Late in my visit, I decided on Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice. Let me tell you, it was wonderful! Each was paired with a Kirin Light. I could not be more pleased with this visit.

Good & tasty sushi and korean rice. Very professional, fast and nice service also. Interior ok, could be even more japanese tough.

We loved this restaurant! We tried the sushi, the noodles, the sashimi, and the truth is, everything was fresh and delicious. Plus, the service is fast and very friendly. We've already been twice in the same week, and we'll definitely be back. Also, the price is very good for NY."

Great sushi. Tasty and fresh. Teriyaki was also top notch with properly cooked veggies. Service was attentive and friendly. The stairway to heaven looked spectacular

Excellent restaurant. Fresh, fine cuisine… we loved it Lots of choices for a reasonable price for New York. We plan to return

Stumbled here while staying next-door at the Residence Inn. Was incredibly surprised by the attentive service and the high-quality of the food. We live in Florida and pay more for sushi there than at this restaurant. Has to be one of the best quality for value options in Midtown. Highly recommend it and will definitely come back with the family.
