I have never been denied service to a restaurant in my 70 plus years of life on this planet. This is precisely what happened to me and my wife, after being seated at an outside table at 8:30 am on a Friday morning. We were on a tight schedule, scheduled to depart the city at 9:30, trailing our carry on bags behind us. When the waitperson came to take our order - eggs Benedict for me and a croissant for my wife - we were informed that it was restaurant policy not to serve anybody that does not order a meal. Apparently my wife's croissant did not rate admittance. I should also mention that there were many empty tables around us at this particular time. Struck by a sense of disbelief and displeasure at not being able to eat before our trip, I went inside the restaurant to ask the server "Is this for real?" Her response was an emphatic "This is restaurant policy." As odd as it seemed, she seemed to take pleasure in telling me this.

Fantastic breakfast for the last two mornings, the granola bowl is lovely, a great start to the day. My daughter had the salmon on sour dough. Lovely atmosphere, great staff, great coffee

Superb. Just round the corner from our hotel. Spoilt for choice with the menu. Please Note: At busy times, seating only available if all ordering a main from the menu. Nothing wrong with that and as said, you won’t be disappointed with the choices.

Very nice spot ! Super good coffee and very kind and helpful employees. High customer service level. We had the French toast which was very very delicious. Pro tip; If your hungry add an additional medium baked egg.

What can I say, a must stop in this place. Brunch and breakfasts of absolute quality, courtesy and excellent service, we came 5 mornings in a row and found so much quality throughout. They also have an important variety of proposal , whatever you order (we tried so many things) is divinely made and presented with care. Chapeau

Stopped for coffee and a menu item. Wonderful food. I had a latte and house toast. Spoke with the owner who was there. If it was wrong, he fixed it for a different customer. Wait time to get seated was about 10 minutes as restaurant was full.

Great breakfast in NYC Small restaurant between the 34-35th west in NYC where people are queueing to have a chance to get a table Nice experience with great avocado toasts, French toasts, etc… Would definitely be back Congrats

Coffee, which also deserves the name, and a small but fine menu convinced us in this cafe. Our choice was avocado toast and ricotta toast (with spiced honey and figs).

We visited twice… wonderful experience! Creative menu, high quality, sourdough avocado, salmon, lattes, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

One of the best place to have breakfast or brunch close to Time Square .Its around a 20/25 mts walking distance from Time Square .Highly recommended for Breakfast or brunch We tried the breakfast sandwich ,avocado toast and the whipped ricotta toast along with the latte .The Whipped Ricotta toast is highly recommend .The avocado toast was decent but the bread was a bit thick and hard to chew on . There is outdoor seating options and definitely recommended for a brunch or breakfast .

This place for breakfast and brunch is great - it’s cool, trendy but most importantly the food and coffee is excellent…highly recommended

What a disappointment. We sat down, ordered coffee and browsed the food menu. One of us chose the eggs beno and croissant to be told that we both had to order a “main dish” or we weren’t allowed to stay. They gave us takeaway cups for the coffees and gave us the bill. Apparently it’s their “policy”, unfortunately our policy is now that we won’t be going back tomorrow or the rest of the week for breakfast with the rest of the family. They should be embarrassed. 0/5 stars.

Here’s the review in English: The food at this place is excellent – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The coffee was a real highlight, and the overall quality was outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Young, enthusiastic people who truly elevate the experience. Unfortunately, the overall impression is dampened by the manager. His behavior towards the staff comes across as unfair and unprofessional. He seems inattentive himself: in the morning, the entrance door was left open for far too long, making it freezing cold inside. We ended up having breakfast in winter jackets and gloves, which is far from ideal. The potential is definitely there, but better management could turn this into a flawless experience.

We are in New York for a week and we’re walking down to the high line looking for a lunch/brunch spot … Saw this … It looked inviting after passing loads of greasy spoon burger pizza fried everything places … We had a 10 minute wait for a table on the street and got immediate service … The menu and food were fantastic and it was the best meal we have had in the USA … This includes San Francisco The Napa Valley Yosemite and Denver … Marg had the shakshuka with a poached egg and I had the whipped recotta with figs and a poached egg … Beautifully cooked fast and delicious … A must for anyone looking for good food well cooked and presented … With great staff

Pretty cramped seating, rushed vibe. There are some reasonably healthy options available. I’ll try somewhere else tomorrow.

The food was fine but the service was awful. There were people waiting outside the restaurant and even though we were sitting there for very little time they did everything in their power to cause us to leave (even when we asked for more coffee they made it to-go even though we wanted to stay). It made us extremely uncomfortable. Never have I experienced any behavior similar to that, even in NYC.

Delicious! Excellent quality causal breakfast with great coffee. The space is small and crowded, but the tables move quickly and the service is excellent. Highly recommend!

Just okey place for a breakfast. We had a table outside, had to ask for a sugar and napkins, will be great just to have it on the table.

Nice place with good and fast service. Clean. Good prices. The three of us ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was very good, warm. However, one of the sandwich ingredients was mild cheddar cheese and none of them had cheese; They didn't tell us anything about it either. The hot chocolate should be improved, it didn't taste like anything.

Phenomenal Avocado toast very impressed with the poached egg is definitely the way to go! Surprised this spot isn’t rated even higher up

Great service, delicious food, awesome atmosphere. The place was packed but they found us great seats in a couple of minutes. Going back tomorrow!
