Had a perfectly acceptable dinner here with the children. Beer was lovely and the service friendly. Prices ok. Menu was pretty much limited to burgers and sandwiches.

Fantastic place for a late night drink or bite to eat. Stopped in on two separate nights after seeing a show and a band. Really good selection of beer and the food was great. My travel companion particularly lover the poutine. Every member of staff from barman to waitress were a joy to spend time with. Will visit again when next in NYC.

We called into Jasper's on our last afternoon in NYC for a late lunch before heading to the airport. Our timing was fortuitous as Happy Hour was on, and the specials - beer and food - were to our taste. The IPA was excellent, as were the snacks we ordered, and the Happy Hour prices were tremendous value. Nice staff too.

Good outdoor space, The wait staff were very nice and attentive so no issue with them as they were so very nice. However, the food was horrible. There was a group of 6 of us for brunch. How do you mess up brunch? I live in Hells Kitchen and I want to support local businesses, But my eggs were cold, the home fries had no flavor, overall, I took two bites and knew I would be sick if I ate more. Shame on you. Again, the waitresses were very pleasant so no issue with service but the food was beyond bad.

A great bar located in the heart of Hell's Kitchen, the staff are very friendly. Multiple TVs throughout the bar and a wide selection of craft beers, AMAZING wings.

very nice place to watch a sports game. had Salmon Salad and a sea food kind of cooked dish, but the dish berarly had any any sea food. servise was o.k and that cause we had a new waitrees with a lot of graet mood and she was very bubbely !

We came to the tap house for a mid afternoon snack and drink. We had the wings platter and the Mac and cheese. The latter was really good. I would recommend it! The wings were very average though. The menu focuses more on beer and less on cocktails. Keep that in mind when choosing. There are lots of options in the area, so this would not be my first choice.

I was looking for a pub to have grab a bite and stumbled across this place, within the Hell's Kitchen area. The place is small and it get's very loud very quickly, makes a bit of a struggle to speak to the staff to place orders. Food is straightforward and uncomplicated. The menu concise and straightforward and ticks the boxes. It's a nice enough place, but nothing outstanding.

With our bodies on a different timezone, we somehow skipped dinner the previous night and had a light lunch prior — so we were famished. They make the perfect breakfast. Friendly staff and quick serve. Try the Farmer’s breakfast, best omelette anywhere to date. My son went for a breakfast burger.

This was our first meal after arriving in NYC and we were completely underwhelmed. The avocado appetizer seemed to be frozen from a box. The pork in the mac and cheese was tough. Not a good way to start.

Almost. The food is reliably good, The Mac-n-cheese awesome. The fact that ownership is too cheap to regularly heat or cool the place annoys me as it is cramped to begin with, often loud and the wait staff frenetic. That does not mean that they are not nice people. All well intentioned but often clumsily executed. And yes, the happy hour specials and details are not often explained fully.

We had tickets to a show and we needed a meal and a cocktail, but didn't have much time. Jasper's was great! Fast & friendly service! Food was very good - wings and buffalo chicken sliders were a big hit. Always a new cocktail to try - I had a cucumber basil margarita - delicious! Huge selection of brews and a great menu. Would definitely recommend. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the place even longer.

Had the chicken sandwich, but there were too many strong spices on the plate. The French fries still left a taste 3 hrs later. The omelette was average the home fries were good. did not expect $72 for brunch with out any booze.

The brisket sandwich, chicken Cesar salad and chili were very good. The place gets a little cramped during happy hour, we had great service and the food were good.

Great selection of ales. Great food. Hot wings are epic! Sour beers on all the time we were here. Great IPA’s too. Vibe in here is brill, funny as, bar staff love to joke. Over all it’s one of the funniest good natured bar I’ve been in ever. And I’m pretty much a social alcoholic. I would definitely come again. Thanks Kate and Marty Nick and Alex

Great bar stumbled upon by accident Lovely food and great atmosphere. Very friendly staff most clientele are about 20 years younger than us. It it didn't matter. We enjoyed the live golf and baseball.

Comfortable cozy pub where we met friends. Quick, courteous and friendly service. (Thanks JJe) many good and drink specials. A great time with New and old friends.

We stopped in for a beer whilst visiting the area. The place was very busy but we managed to get a seat at the bar and sample a few of the the great beers they have on tap. We didn't eat here but the bar food looked very good. The atmosphere and service is very good.

Having experienced a few traditional US breakfasts we were after a breakfast more similar to an English or Irish one. Jaspers answered our call with a very nice cooked breakfast. I think our Irish host had a hand in providing this for us. Highly recommended for its beer options too.

This was a lucky find. We were hungry and thirsty and Jaspers just happened to be close so we tried it. The food was excellent, the service was very good, and the atmosphere is very NYC clic.

Stopped on a bar tour of hells kitchen on a Friday night. Good bar selection. Had the Ruben wontons and they were very good. Has a Saturday and Sunday brunch advertised that sounds good!

Popped into Jaspers in Hell’s Kitchen while we were waiting for a table at Pure Thai opposite. We had the kids with us and weren’t sure if they would be welcome. They could not have been more accommodating. They were more than happy that we just wanted a drink and sat us in a booth. Drinks menus and 4 glasses of chilled water swiftly followed. This was great as we were very hot and tired after a long days sightseeing! The choice of beers is great and most range from as little as $5 to $9 a pint. We were so impressed, we revisited a couple of days later and this time had some bar food. All good stuff. Loaded nachos, pizzas, etc. This would definitely be my local if I was a New Yorker.

Bison burger was awesome The man at the front door was fantastic generous and inviting. The music was fantastic!!!!! Would def Recommend

My husband and I stopped here for lunch while visiting New York recently from the UK. We were out for a walk around the Hells Kitchen area as we were staying just a few blocks away near Times Square. It was quiet when we called in and we were greeted immediately with a friendly smile by Emily who chatted with us and made us feel very comfortable and was very knowledgeable about the menu, she’s a credit to you. We just ordered drinks and fried chicken sandwiches and salad which were brought very quickly and were delicious and plentiful. It was only a quick visit but we enjoyed our food and found the place warm and welcoming. Had we found it earlier we would have definitely gone for dinner at some point too. I would imagine it’s a lively place in the evening as it has tv screens I would think for sports events. If your in the area be sure to give them a try you won’t regret it.

Good food. Great atmosphere. Bunch comes with a complementary bloody Mary or mimosa. Has a great local free since it is away from the tourist rush of Times Square, but only a few blocks away.

Walked by so thought we'd try it on a Sunday. No wait and seated inside. Added 2 bottomless mimosas which were yummy and always refilled with no wait. The avocado toast was AMAZING! Great service and yummy food! Reasonably priced for NYC!

Nice little corner bar/restaurant. Very clean. Mostly Craft beers. We only had drinks this time but looked over the menue for a future stop. Menu looks avg. with a few daily specials.

Good for a bite and when I asked for water without ice, the waiter showed no reaction..beer in all crafts/drafts and cocktails..beautiful ambience at corner of 51st and 9th avenue..full of TVs with sports and music channels. Nice place for a leisurely bite

The food and staff were great and we loved the bottomless mimosas! However the last thing I want to see when I’m having a nice meal is a dude dropping a duce in the bathroom when I walk in. Get a stall or curtain or something!

PROS Position, friendly staff, TV available to watch NFL Price was reasonable CONS 1 hour waiting for getting the food, quality was low Maybe a case, but it could have been much better than it actually was

We are very glad we chose Jaspers since we were promptly seated and served very quickly as well! Our drinks were very good! We had the cider, beer and sangria! We also had the pretzel bites and eggplant chips with honey drizzled on top my absolute favourite app! Highly recommend!!

It is a small place in midtown with a great atmosphere, it has good variety of beers and warm service

nice friendly bar with multiple beers on tap. lots of football on tv. good atmosphere, will visit again

Nice restaurant/ bar and good service. Medium price point. The lunch/brunch menu isn't overly big, but there is a pretty good variety. The food was ok, nice enough but not fantastic.

We ate here on a recent Sunday afternoon. All the plates were well executed, with generous portions. The beer menu is nice with some regional brews we had a chance to try. The room is a bit loud, not overly so, conversation was easy even with other patrons and background music. The server was a very pleasant waitress who was very willing and able to answer our questions. I would visit here again with no concerns.

Visited this bar several times this week. Has food and drinks Has bar servers as well as table service. Close to Hells Kitchen restaurants, other bars and close to Times Square (a few blocks away)

Jasper's has a fun atmosphere with many choices of craft beer ($6-9) on tap & bottle, as well as mixed drinks. On a Saturday night, a few large groups of 20's partied together until midnight and left a cozy, drinking crowd with the two welcoming Irish bartenders. The music was worth dancing or at least moving to but few were that bold. With chalkboard pricing and new updates, it was a clean, festive place to hang out with friends in Hell's Kitchen.

Stopped in for wings and was most impressed by the fast, hot wings and wonderful service. Thank you!

Went twice for food and once for drinks - great selection and quality of both and really friendly and helpful staff!

Our first night in NYC and we headed down 9th in Hell's Kitchen. So many choices and we landed in Jasper's. Great place! Our server, Melanie, was great. Gave us lots of suggestions and we weren't disappointed. My mom, 2 sisters and I shared eggplant chips--super! Her beer suggestions were great. Had great burgers, southwest chicken sandwich and salmon salad. It was very good food, comfortable atmosphere and a wonderful beginning to a week in NYC.

Good beer choices and friendly bartender. There was live music at the time which isn't my thing but still would recommend

Went here for a friend's birthday dinner and drinks. Friendly wait staff. Ordered Jasper burger with curly fries. The burger was too tall that you have to take little bites and that just defeats the purpose of the burger. Tap water tasted weird (might just be the NYC unfiltered water taste). Chicken wings were good though! When it was time to order at the bar, they only had one bartender -- which is fine as the place was small -- but you gotta make sure that you (at least) acknowledge the customers waiting for your help! No bueno! Won't come here for drinks because of the service.

We had lunch here recently, whilst visiting NYC. Highly recommended! The day was baking hot and we were walking from 'doing' the Intrepid museum, en route to seeing Wicked on Broadway. We needed a place to eat and cool down and we found Jaspers on a street corner. Had a great lunch. We wished we had gone back later to sample the beers, but we didn't have time. Next visit! Nice atmosphere, nice food and great service. Try it!

After consulting with local “best of” lists, we decided to try Jasper’s for brunch. It did not disappoint. The plates were plentiful and delicious, the atmosphere was lively but classy, and the employees were all friendly and attentive. My husband had the steak and eggs, which came with a salad, home fries with peppers and onions, and toast. I had the light omelette (with fontina cheese, mushrooms, and squash), which came with home fries with peppers and onions and toast.

We had worshipped with our son at a temporary location on 9th Ave and decided to "do lunch" before heading back to the Port Authority and the bus to NJ. We had passed this bar/restaurant on our way to service and they had a message board on the sidewalk with their brunch offerings. The selections looked good to my husband and our son so we chose to eat there--the only patrons at 1PM on a Sunday afternoon--well, when we first arrived anyway. Anna, our server was just lovely and very patient as we selected items and traded off on certain accompaniments. She and the bartender both raved about the avocado toast when questioned about it and they were spot on! The avocado toast was just delicious, paired with hash browns was enough for this mom. The guys had more meaty selections with the hand cut fries--no complaints and clean plates for all of us. More patrons walked in and seemed to be enjoying themselves even as we enjoyed our food and people watched at our table by the windows.

Looking for a bite after a show we stumbled upon this place. Good beer menu, food was decent. I had the chicken pot pie which was very good. Our server was great. Not a culinary masterpiece but a good bar with good food.

Enjoyed a nice burger here with sweet potato fries. The music that was playing (all sorts of Rock) was great, there was sports on and everybody was very relaxed. The bartender is a great guy. An the Green City IPA is one of the best beers I have had. Excellent place.

I probably shouldn't get to review this restaurant because I didn't have a beer here. However, I did enjoy the most excellent eggplant appetizer. I will be trying to replicate that soon. The rest of the food was delicious. My friend said her quesadilla was one of the best she has ever had. I had wings...they were excellent. My wine was delicious. My friend had an old fashioned which was a bit on the strong side for her. She asked for more mixer & it was promptly handled. I would say if you get a chance go. It was a nice place to stop in at.

Awesome bar with great drinks selection and staff is super friendly! Highly recommend watching sports and eating wings

Look, they are what they are. This is a brew pub in an area filled with great restaurants. It is a perfect drinking spot after work and then head home or hit one of the better restaurants within 2 blocks. The food is pretty basic. The beer is very good. Service is good. Prices are reasonable. Nothing fancy but a solid spot to catch up with a friend or two over a pint

Stumbled upon Jaspers for lunch and very impressed. Great and varied beer selection. Really good food and excellent service. Not a huge place, but definitely worth stopping by and enjoying a beer in Hell's Kitchen area.

My friend and I stopped here our first night in town. The server was friendly and provided great service. There was a small issue with my sandwich but he fixed it right away. The food was okay, but not that great when considering the price. This is definitely a bar type atmosphere and it’s very loud. Not what we wanted during our dinner, but we dealt with it. I’d say if you want to have drinks at a fun place come here, but don’t have high expectations for the food.

Just wanted a quiet beer with a friend. Great selection and service turned into a great dinner. Recommended!!!

With friends we spent some time in this local after a long trip from milan to nyc, what we want Was just a place where eat something and watching nba...well The food is great (deliciuos spicy chicken wins) and The beer amazing!we found a good selection of IPA..The prices are normal for The area. Recommended!

Great place in hells kitchen. Love the beers and the eggplant chips are the best! I would recommend this

Yes, like someone else mentioned the server knew her and her friend, a la Cheers! The drinks and the food were good and service was excellent. Will go again upon returning to NYC!

Good beer and great food plus friendly service. We had burgers and wraps and everything was delicious and huge portions. Tasty fries too!

Me and missus went here and shared the tailgate platter and wow a perfect tribute to the classic Americans! At $30 it was pretty good value with 10 spicy chicken wings/thighs, 6 slides (3 beef/3 chicken) and a mountain of fries and it was all delishous! A traditional American platter and all the better for it. We went in on a Saturday night and it was very noisy so maybe not the best time to be there and the beer is a little pricey at $9 but the platter is certainly worth a visit!

Unless you wanted a small, quiet intimate place, that is. This is an honest place that doesn't try to be something that it isn't. Beer choices are good and menu has lots of alternatives. Can be noisy.

We enjoyed this pub. Great beer selection and quick friendly service. Didn’t have food, just a delicious brew before the broadway show.

Solid taphouse with 20 rotating drafts. Great list of whiskey too. We stayed here for a few hours and had a good time. We will come again as it's close to our place.

We happened on this place around dinner time, went in for a beer and stayed to eat. Had the Eggplant Chips, which were fabulous and I don't like eggplant. The burgers are ground brisquet and wonderful. You can even get a side of sauteed kale. Melanie was a delight and took good care of us. If you are looking for a fun bar atmosphere with good food and interesting beer, eat here!

Wow, coming from the UK as an ale drinker, this was a perfect find for us, great selection of ales and ciders, the bar man was very friendly and gave us some tips where to visit, highly recommended.

We were looking for a place to sit and have a beer or two and this place caught our eye. Wasn't too busy when we got there but filled up pretty quickly. Large selection of craft beers to choose from and the server was helpful in finding one to try. Eventually ordered food which was good. The only downside was the pervasive smoky smell. Possibly there was a fire nearby? It wasn't unpleasant but it lingered like crazy. Would certainly recommend though!

Went to jaspers wit ha few friends after traveling over on st patricks weekend, have to say it has an excellent atmosphere, beer and value for money. I wish i had of ate there as the food looked amazing or maybe i was being greedy. Graham was a fantastic host and certainly would return anytime to jaspers if i come to NYC again. All the best Granny Bettys Irish Tours

Nice Hell's Kitchen spot for a quick drink or pub food. Friendly service that is well attended. Good selection of beers on tap or by the bottle. Crowd thens to be young. Nice decor and easy access to Ninth Avenue. Good location. Crowded late night.

We had been in NYC before and had a drink here but never had food. Glad we did this time. The bison burger was excellent and there was plenty of it. Great selection of beers too.

After getting a recommendation from a family member, we stopped in at Jasper's for lunch/brunch before seeing a Broadway matinee. While the Saturday menu is heavy on brunch choices, unlike some of its neighbors, it has a variety of salads and sandwiches too. Also, if you order a brunch entree, you get a free mimosa or bloody mary. I had a very good hamburger with house cut fries and my wife had a chicken sandwich with curly fries. Both were very good. She also enjoyed the mimosa, while I opted to pay for a beer instead (no substitutions on the drinks). I had a Jasper's lager, which is brewed for the restaurant and was quite refreshing. There is a good beer list.

Went here after the visiting the Intrepid Air and Space Museum and really glad we did. You can sample many different beers on their tasting menu and the wings are burgers were really top notch. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

Went out around midnight and found a good younger crowd of "Hell's Kitchen" inhabitants. Friendly staff and decent select of brew.

I had a long lunch with some friends here on Sunday. The service, menu and drinks were all on point, the outdoor seating was good on the street if you did not prefer the avenue. Happy to see this place open.

There were 6 of us. The Food was excellent and so was the service !! Loved everything about this place. We will Definitely visit again! The owner himself made sure all was as expected.

Honestly it’s the staff that made it for me. I have never met so much welcoming staff in my live, I never write reviews and said I had to come on here to commend them. Truely lovely and a true honest Irish welcome.

We loved it here! My husband and I shared some starters: sliders, tortillas and chicken. We also sampled the beer testers! They were delivered in a special rack with a score sheet. It was great fun, sampling and scoring. We would definitely visit here when in NY in the future.

Very friendly bar staff and 20 well priced craft beers, what's not to like. Oh nearly forgot well priced bar food, go there.

My wife and I were bopping around and we stopped in to wet our whistles. They have a nice selection of beer, and our bartender was very friendly. We only had beer, so I can't speak about the food, but we'd stop in again.

Came here around 5 for dinner. Cute little place. Very loud with people talking and the tables are very close to each other. We told our waiter we had a show at 6 and he was very quick. I got the house burger which was delicious. The fries were good. My girlfriend got the Mexican Philly cheesesteak burrito and said it was just okay. Not enough cheese or flavor. Her fries were good though! Our waiter did forget to get us more napkins, but other than that he was nice and the bathroom was a decent size and clean. Always a plus in the city.

Ate dinner at the bad here on a cold, dark and rainy night. Coming through the door into the warmly-lit yet casual bar area felt great. Craft beer selection very good, 15+ drafts available and some unusual selections. I had a kale caesar salad topped with full-sized salmon fillet that was excellent quality and perfectly cooked, no complaints there. the bartender was friendly and kept everyone at the bar happy and sated. No doubt I will be returning soon!

This is the sort of place where it's always five o'clock. We were there for lunch and were greatly entertained by a small group of suit-clad young men cleaning out the bar. I hope they didn't have offices to return to after "lunch"... The service was attentive and quick, and the food is of the sort you shouldn't have every day, but need to treat yourself to after a night out. They also had a good selection of beers.

We came here after seeing a show in the city, we're from long island and don't know a million places to eat in NYC so we came back here after finding it by accident a few months before when we were attending a concert. Food is delicious, wait staff is very friendly and helpful and they have a great selection of beer. If you want a nice casual but a little unique bar food experience, this is your spot! They have all different games on a bunch of tvs which isn't my thing but might attract sports fans. Good prices, wide beer selection and the menu isn't just boring burger, wings etc. They have vegetarian options and they serve everything in a cute way.

I've been here multiple times and it's always great. The food is delicious and they have a great beer selection. The eggplant chips are ridiculous!

First off, I'm a big beer lover. Jaspers has a great selection of both bottled/canned and draft beers. something for everyone, seasonals, local brews, imports, they have LOTS. Graham and Seanie went out of their way to take care of us on two separate visits. The food is very good too. First time I ever had a bison burger and it was without a doubt the best burger I've ever had. Lean, tasty and no shortage of food on the plate. A really great bar in hell's kitchen. Just sorry we didn't make it there for a 3rd visit before home.

Stopped in for drinks and got food as well - great buffalo chicken sliders, ridiculously good nachos and the warm pretzel was a success!

My wife and I were seeing Wicked and we stopped here for some pre-show appetizers. We ending up splitting habanero-lime boneless wings and nachos, both of which were excellent. We really enjoyed how fresh the pico de gallo and nachos as a whole tasted. I had a great Icelandic beer (which tasted a lot like Hoegaarden). The waitress was very attentive and the food came out very quickly. We did think the portions were on the small side though and were wish we maybe ordered another appetizer.

Cracking bar in Hell’s Kitchen , went for lunch with my family , sat at the tables outside , plenty seating inside but it was beautiful weather. Two really friendly , helpful Staff served us (both Irish) and advised us on what was good. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Would defo come back here on our next visit to New York.

Was here on a Saturday night and was pretty full. Staff was helpful and efficient and food was average for a bar and pretty quick to come out. Nice selection of craft beers - I recommend the Bluepoint Amber pale ale. Cheers!

Would definitely recommend this restaurant/pub bar to anyone visiting NY and staying in the Hell's Kitchen area. Food was absolutely delicious!! We had the avocado toast, french toast with blackberry jam, omelete and breakfast sandwich. Service was great.

This place has been our go-to for years. The food is fantastic and always reliable (trust me when I say the food at NYC brunches -- bottomless especially -- is hit or miss), the staff is friendly, outstanding and attentive (shoutout to Nicole!), the drinks are outstanding and there is always good sports on TV -- but not so loud you can't talk! An open, spacious venue and a great time. Oh -- and the bathroom is clean and well stocked. Come to Jasper's and leave happy!

Stumbled upon this place upon arrival to New York for a visit. Good craft beer on tap and excellent wings. Very friendly service. Nice laid back spot.

Stopped in for drinks and an appetizer at the bar. The place has a great feel. The bartender was very friendly and provided great service. We loved the Nachos we shared. Large portion and prepared differently than any other place. Great taste and very filling. The drink prices were a bit high but it is Midtown Manhattan. We will return next time we are in the city.

We went to Hells Kitchen for late lunch yesterday. Nice place and good service, good choice of beers. But our meal was a dissapointing. Jaspers burger was quite tasteless and Cuban sandwich claiming to be pulled pork sandwich appeared to be just ordinary ham sandwich containing maybe a teaspoon of tasteless pulled pork. We were hungry and in hurry so we didn't complain, it was still eatable. But I would never go back for food here. Absolutely OK if you just want to have a beer ($5, Happy hour)

We had lunch here before a matinee. We had chicken sliders, a turkey burger and chicken and waffles. The food was tasty and the service could not be friendlier. Very nice spot.
Thank you Graham for an excellent NY experience
Great drinks, delicious food and the music is OK. Fantastic bartender who keeps the drinks flowing, thank you for the great night out. No regrets
