The food was delicious, service was incredible while the vibe and energy was heavenly. The prices are very reasonable.

Although the servers can get a little hasty and border line rude (tone), the food was pretty good. Watch out for the size of your order. Although you may be paying more for a large order, you may be receiving the same amount of food as a medium order, but paying more. I advise you to check you order if you are unsure before leaving the location. Also there is no menu that shows cost, so you don't know how much anything cost. On two separate occasions I paid more for the same dish and rather than argue, I started saving my receipts. Trying to give them some business, however, if this continues, I will have to take my business elsewhere.

If you’re craving real Jamaican flavor in Manhattan, Jerk House on West 57th is an excellent find. The jerk chicken and pork are standouts—among the best I’ve had outside the island itself, and I’ve made more than a dozen trips to Jamaica. It naturally misses that unmistakable, unique flavor you only get from pimento wood grilling, that can't be duplicated in an NYC kitchen. The oxtail and brown stew chicken are equally worth ordering—rich, tender, and deeply seasoned. The sides, however, are more hit-or-miss: rice and peas, mac and cheese, and plantains are serviceable but not especially memorable. That said, the strength of the mains more than makes up for it, and you’ll leave satisfied. It’s not Jamaica, but it’s about as close as you’ll get in Manhattan—and that’s reason enough to go back.

Food was great for lunch or dinner… customer was great and this is an excellent place to buy because it’s a very convenient price
Outstanding food & flavors
I had the meal with a jerk chicken btest, rice, cabbage, & plantain. Everything was terrific... Perfectly cooked & seasoned chicken that filled my mouth with amazing flavor. Great portion that filled me up. If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this spot.
