Big place with plenty of seating and good food. This place has more of a “food court” style with a couple of different booths making everything fro soup to pizza to bagels, in addition to a small take-out section. This is especially great for a group who can’t decide quite what they want to eat; everyone can get what they want and still eat together. I got pizza, and it was fresh and tasty. My one complaint is that the shelves were a bit cluttered and the condiments were all mixed up and hard to find. Otherwise, great place to stop for a quick lunch.

Except for the bottled sodas, everything was mediocre at best. Long time since I had such a bad pizza. We will not be back.

Went here last night and I was not impressed. I ordered pizza and fries and it was nothing special. My husband got a sandwich which he enjoyed. The hot chocolate merely tasted like hot water, with a tinge of chocolate. Two other people in our party said that the food was OK. Eating out in New York City, you have a higher standard; thus, I don't believe that the food here is worth the money and calories. I can get better pizza closer to home. Yet, if someone is desperate for kosher pizza in Manhattan, this would be the place to go since there are not that many choices.

Unless I mistook a place I was looking for in the midtown area, Jerusalem Cafe seemed to be the place where one could get a good falafel. It was mid afternoon, hadn't had lunch but roamed around a bit so was looking for a falafel place in midtown and thought that Jerusalem cafe was the recommended place. The falafels themselves were a bit over fried - very hard on the outside - inside was good - the other ingredients were good - pita could have been toasted more. Will not go out of my way to go here, but would give it another try if I am again in a similar situation.

The Jerusalem Cafe sits directly across the street from my hotel, so it made it easy banking on other favorable reviews here. Go. Eat there. You'll be super-satisfied both with the quality of the food, the selection and the quantity. I had the Jerusalem Platter with the Israeli salad - onions, cucumbers and tomatoes with added olives, peppers and pepper sauce. The plate also comes with falafel and hummus as will as fresh pita. I made the mistake of requesting two pieces of whole wheat pita plus a small cup of soup. Way too much food! I asked the guy serving me his favorite soup, and he said without hesitation the mushroom barley. He was right. Drank the last drops from my paper bowl. There is so much more to try there, I'll be back, and I'll know this time to walk to the far end of the counter to see all the hot entrees available.

Looking for something different, not only Pizza - they have a varied selection, and they had something I haven't had in a long time Kani Salad (delicious)

I am a Meat eater. I love beef, pork or chicken. I went into this place knowing no meat (they have tuna). I had a Hummus Platter. I didn't even think about eating meat because it was so good. I also tried the tuna platter.

Uninspired dairy restaurant. Boring and unimaginative fare. But exacting for those patrons who need it. Right in midtown.

I’ve frequented Jerusalem Cafe for many many years, even when it was at a different location, and every time I go I am happy with my experience. The restaurant is spacious and inviting, the workers are very pleasant and I love how many options they offer every day. I’ve eaten the best gigantic mozzarella sticks there and I still think about them when I’m craving something cheesy. Their food is high quality, very affordable and always delicious. I’ve never had to wait too long for my meal and it’s always the perfect temperature when I get it. The restaurant is also very conveniently located in midtown, right in the center, so it’s an ideal spot for anyone traveling around the city who needs a good breakfast or lunch! My only qualm with the restaurant is that I wish it was open later so I can get my dinner there too!

So the name drew me in and I got a pretzel and a homemade pastry. There was a buffet that looked good. Best I think i have ever had so I took my husband with me the next time, got another pastry and a bagel. Very fresh and breakfast was being served and smelled wonderful. Very helpful staff and prices are very good.

This might be one of the worst-run businesses in NYC. Constantly delivers food late and cold, they are always BEYOND rude on the phone, and they will literally lie when you ask for the status on your order. Today's debacle included leaving out a slice of pizza, which they agreed to re-deliver. However, two hours later, the slice still has not arrived and they lied each time I called, saying it was on the way. When I called them out on this, they said, "You have the audacity to say this to a fellow Jew?" I mean, is this even for real?!

Loved the idea this was walking distance from our hotel, literally across the street. While vacationing my youngest became sick, I wanted to grab a ginger ale and bagel for her to eat as she had thrown up everything. It was raining so it was so close and I had read good stuff about the food. I ran across the street and despite it being near closing, I grabbed a gingerale and challah roll (which she loves). The man was nice and only charged me $2 for both as I guess it was near the end of the day. A few days later, my hubby ordered the Jerusalem platter consisting of falafel balls, hummus, israeli salad, imported green olives, onions, pickles, and 2 pitas. It was delicious and plenty to share. They also have a variety of other foods, pizza, sandwiches, calzones, sushi and various drinks. I'm sure you could find something here and prices are reasonable. They also deliver.

Never a disappointment. They have great wraps and everything they sell is fresh. Coffee is good too. Very clean facility. A+ in my book.

Very unorganized. Delivery is slow and food comes soggy however service in the store is very slow, and don't try to order take out cause when u get there ur pizza is sitting there getting cold and then they first check what else you ordered, The cashier is very unfriendly and when u ask a question she just shrugs her shoulders. The food is probably good if they can get their act together to serve it and be a little more pleasant.

What a great restaurant! The service is absolutely incredible—friendly, quick, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The food is just as impressive. The pizza is excellent—delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor. The whole place has a happy, upbeat atmosphere that makes dining here a real pleasure. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or enjoying a full meal with friends or family, this spot delivers every time. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great pizza and an all-around wonderful dining experience!

Yikes! A friend invited to have lunch for a lunch break because of its close location to her office. I will not be back! It's a circus. I ordered a pita with falafel and it came out soggy and I asked for the sauce on the side. They couldn't accommodate that simple request. Sauce was out on it and it wasn't made how I asked for it. The dining room is loud and there are many child that run wild. Many of the mothers seem to know each other and were quite loud. The bathroom is tiny and is dirty. I didn't get a good impression of this place and they need to clean. The floor had excessive dirt and the table had crumbs. I ordered a bagel instead. It was ok. They have an odd menu with Italian Mediterranean and sushi. I think that they should just stick to one and perfect it. The coffee is average and that's about it. I'll stick to the local pizza parlor or diner next time.

This has always been a solid place and is a good place for lunch. I like their tuna sandwiches and their pizza and sushi are good too. Average price and ample seating but not as much seating as their old location. During lunch you may have to wait a little bit on-line but it moves pretty quickly.

This location is in middle of Manhattan. It has average decor but the food is very delicious and get a lot of variety. Food is as good as homemade and is fresh. Staff is also very courteous and friendly.

Disgusting food, drinks, and people... AVOID!!! Coffee tasted like it was mud from the ground, owner and staff are animals...

This Cafe was located across the street form my hotel and was convenient for pretty good pizza and is open late.

This coffee shop has solid breakfast, Mediterranean style. Eggs, Israeli salad, bagel and good coffee - a good start for the day. Recommended.

Walked in with friends and there was a family in front of me and the staff wqas being so rude to them, so much so, they walked out. I was next in line and stood there for 3 minutes and not one person acknowledge me. I eat Kosher and since this place is so close to my office it owuld have been convenient. I'll bring my own food from home and save money.

Great food in a great location Place offer Sushi, Salads, breakfast and dinner. Great coffee and much more

This is a Dairy kosher restaurant, they have a buffet that you can serve yourself and pay by the pound and they also have pizza, sandwiches, wraps, bagels, omelettes, salads and many more. I loved the pizza.

Went on a Friday in Lent. So no meat. Had a falafel wrap. Excellent. Son had tuna fish (Italien) style sandwich. He said it was excellent. Husband had same in a bagel. Also excellent. It was quick, relatively inexpensive and plenty of seating.

Dont bother calling if they made a mistake they are argumentative combative disrespectful arrogant sob will never order from them again

Came with my brother 5 min befor they close, and we where su happy. Great food and excellent servis, recommed for every one to go eat there near hotel hayyat

My coworker frequents Jerusalem and I'm glad she introduced me to it.! The pizza here is really good and inexpensive. For two slices and a can soda, I've never paid more than $7; usually $5.99 depending on which type I get. I've also had the salmon caesar wrap; which was tasty. However, a little on the pricey side at $11. The fries are pretty basic; $3 for a small. My coworker enjoys the hummus sandwich. Jerusalem also offers soups, salad, sushi, other varieties of sandwiches, pastries, smoothies, and a hot buffet. I will definitely visit Jerusalem over and over again for the pizza!

Prepare for a big crowd at lunchtime but for a much quieter experience later in the day. This restaurant more or less replaced the late, great J2 pizza store with pretty much the same fare - kosher pizza, soups, wraps, pasta, and baked goods. Not everything is super fresh (the falafel, for instance...), but the soup was hot and tasty, and the pizza was very good. I also had a slice of really great cheesecake that I highly recommend. This is far from fine dining but it's a good bang for the buck if you're not out to spend a lot of money.

I was staying at a hotel across the street and came here for breakfast. This is also only a few blocks from Penn Station. The bagel and lox sandwich was really good, as good as I remember NYC fare to be! Not cheap, but the portion was big enough that I wrapped up half of it and had it for lunch on the train back that afternoon.

I come here every time I visit the city. It has the best falafel sandwiches, kosher, and very NYC atmosphere.

What an incredible selection of delicious food! There is something for everyone here. From buffet style salads to having a chef make a personalized chopped salad, falafel, impossible burgers, Pizza, (they even have pizza with french fries on top!) different pasta dishes, bagels, tuna, egg salad, salmon dishes, all available in a spotlessly clean facility. Try it, you'll like it!

We stopped in to Jerusalem Cafe after checking in to our hotel. It is a Kosher deli that seems quite popular with the locals. I would venture to say their bagels are made fresh in house, because they were the best bagels I've ever had. My husband's giant appetite was more than satisfied with the Jerusalem Bagel, a truly gigantic sesame bagel with your choice of butter or cream cheese. I had an everything bagel with tuna salad, lettuce, and tomato. Half of my sandwich was plenty for the morning. I ended up wrapping half of it up to eat later that afternoon (when it still tasted just as fresh and yummy, by the way). It is closed on Saturday, I assume in observation of the Jewish Sabbath.

We have been in nyc for almost 3weeks, We came to this restaurant every dat. This is one of the best place to eat 👌 kosher clean and tasty. Most recommended.

Fast service, plenty of ample seating. No wi-fi which is why I didn't give it a 5. Good and tasty breakfast selection.

Good selection. Good food. We stayed across the street and we got take-out here. It was very good and reasonably priced.

The food was great at a great price (for New York). We spent about $40 for lunch for a family of 4. The various types of pizzas are delicious! The garlic knots were great, and the felafel was delicious. The spicy fries were nothing special. The service was OK, but not great. The cleanliness also left something to be desired.

Very tasty food. The pizzas are excellent! They also have sushi! Very good location, next to Macys. The open until late!

This is a typical NY cafe with bagels and pizzas the specialties. We enjoyed our very inexpensive bagels for breakfast and some yogurt with cereal. Three items $11. Leaves you more money for great NY shopping. Recommended

Nothing special, more like an accidental run kind of place. The food was good but the place didn't seem clean.

really good place to rest. Away from the crowd and confusion of ny streets. Falafels are amazing! the same taste as in Israel.

We actually stayed opposite this Cafe and I must say very convenient for us. A good variety of breakfast and tasty pizza. It's not a place for sitting a long while and relaxing. It's just sit, eat and leave, mainly because it's a bit of a mess and not very clean i'm afraid.

Many family friendly Kosher establishments are shoved into small poorly aerated spaces with not enough seating. Here as you can see in the picture there is ample space including a second floor for seating not shown. I tried the pizza which I give 4 out of five stars and mozzarella sticks which 4 out of five stars and five out of five stars for service. Also good looking bagels and pastries which I did not try.

We arrived in NYC mid morning before our hotel room was available so we dropped our bags and headed across the street to the Jerusalem Cafe. Very good bagels. My son-in-law (6'5 with a bottomless pit of a stomach) had the Jerusalem bagel which is very large and completely satisfied him. The Cafe is not open on Saturday - I am not Jewish but I believe it is Kosher and they do not serve any meat with breakfast.

Kosher pizza, falafel and other Jewish dishes. Nothing remarkable, the facilities are worn. had expected to be able to get a good cafe but not. Low prices and absent service.

fresh food, clean and perfect location in city ...service good also kosher food hard to find around the city will visit again if we are around would recommend

PROS * Very large and spacious facility- plenty of room and never the feeling of crowded * Comfortable seating for dozens of visitors- on the main floor and also upstairs * Tremendous variety of (at least five) different food stations with different types of milky foods and salads- all prepared on the spot and made-to-order * Tremendous and incredible very central midtown Manhattan location * Good very quick service with efficient quick staff * Kosher supervision CONS * The staff are very business-like to the point of being stoic, so order quickly and pay even quicker- it's a walk-up, order, get it, pay and move and get out of there kind of operation "I VISITED THIS PLACE"... ... at least twice (if not three times) and each time, it was early breakfast as soon as I arrived at Penn Station from my airbnb in North Elizabeth New Jersey. I was quite pleased and surprised by the large size and spaciousness of the facility. As per my wont and habit, I wandered around and perused all five food stations at least twice before deciding to get sushi twice and bagel melt once (full disclosure- the pizza station was not open at 8am). Being paranoid, I thought that after a while, the staff personnel were staring at and following me. The food was consistently good- certainly OK, and the price was tolerable. The atmosphere is of a place where people stop to eat and then get up and go and continue on with their life. WAS IT WORTH THE COST? Yes WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN? Yes and I did- twice ADVICE from IVTP Go and visit because it has * Good decent milky food prepared fresh and served quickly * Good central midtown Manhattan location

We were told this was a "Jewish Deli" but found it to be extremely limited in traditional Jewish fare, although it purports to be Kosher. The food was mostly vegetarian with no traditional fare on the menu. I settled for a bagel with cream cheese that I could have had in any cafe.

After visiting an art gallery and walking along the High Line we had a quick lunch at the Jerusalem Cafe. MANY varieties of pizza, felafel and other Middle Eastern fare, sushi, wraps, eggs, salads. Reasonably priced, cafeteria style. A little crowded at lunch, but not an issue.

This is a restaurant that you walk in at the morning and you wanna have an omelet, it smells so good, you can customize your omelet, coffee is great. They have sandwiches, fruits saadas and at lunch time there is a buffet. clean restaurant and friendly people.

Jerusalem Cafe is an eclectic cafeteria-style restaurant with actually very good Kosher Italian offerings which are primarily vegetarian. Fair prices; tasty food. Bathrooms are tiny.

AMAZING Food, Great Costumer Service, LOVE all the SOUPS, EXCELLENT affordable prices, all different kinds of PIZZA and very creative and delicious SUSHI, never the same! Great food bar love the fish and their bread tastes like homemade, simply delicious!!! Best and convenient location! Located at the heart of Manhattan .Recommended for the whole family and Chalav Israel is a plus !!!;) just Love it!!!

This is the best pizza...my favorite is the slice with peppers and mushrooms. Also the soups are great...they use fresh vegetables in them. They also a great food bar with fresh salmon and baked ziti salads etc. On top of this I can grab a really nice lunch for under ten bucks! When I come to Manhattan....this is my favorite part..people who work and the eating space is also pleasant

The food and service were amazing. The pizza was excellent, and was one of the best pizzas I’ve tried. The atmosphere was great. The location is accessible and easy to reach to.

you go to jerusalem cafe for their delicious pizza not their decor. the best kosher pizza in nyc, i give it a 5 for their fresh and delicious food. great location too, just a few blocks from macys...

This is an amazing kosher restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The food is freshly made. The portions are plentiful and delicious. There are many options to choose from. I highly recommend Jerusalem Cafe.

Appropriate bright lights, lots of seating, and many dairy/parve choices from which to select. We enjoyed a very yummy salmon wrap and an Impossible Burger made even more delicious with honey mustard on it.

My wife and I ate at this restaurant a couple of days ago with friends. The restaurant is self serve and you pay at the counter. My wife had a slice of pizza with tomatoes and onions, I had the eggplant parmesan and fried breaded cauliflower and we shared a leafy put together yourself salad and vegetarian sushi. The food was excellent, very tasty and filling. The atmosphere was what you'd expect from a self serve midtown/downtown business lunch place--not a place to take a romantic first date that you want to impress--but we'd highly recommend this restaurant if you want some quick great food at a reasonable price.

This is not a very fancy restaurant, but a good place to go with a family or stop for a quick lunch with friends. I like this cafe because there are many options of different foods to get. The food that I bought always tasted very good and fresh. The service was usually fast.

This place is great, we had breakfast and it was spot on. There are tons of other food types available for lunch etc... prices were reasonable for area, clean and friendly staff.

Many choices and not a bad place to eat. I have however had better pizza but there are plenty of choices.

Wide choice of delicious hot meals in cafeteria style, great salad bar, sushi, pizza, etc and although it is a tray self-service restaurant/cafe, the price was extremely reasonable for a great, quick meal

Hard Wrap was my favorite. Pizza was great. Prices good. Staff was friendly. Across the street from Best Western Premier. Breakfast, sandwiches, pizza/calzones were our choices.

Very close to the Springhill hotel, Empire State Building. Clean, good selection of food, very nice employess. Food was excellent. It pleased the teen with us and those of us over 60. We would definitely return. One of those hidden gems.

Just okay, food not great and selection not wonderful. Was convenient to hotel but worth another 100' to another restaurant.
Breakfast- Lunch or Take Out
We enjoyed a “custom made” omelette for breakfast and it kept us going all day. The new location occupies a vast space and it offers upstairs seating ( good for groups) as well as separate stations for sushi, pizza and a salad bar.
