We've been to a few Just Salads in NYC and they're all great (well, it's the same options, so the food is the same). Great option for a healthy and tasty meal, and you won't stay hungry after that.

We were shopping in Macy's and needed to get a quick lunch before catching our train home. This was a perfect choice because it was convenient and delicious. Lots of fresh healthy choices to put in a salad or wrap and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

I took my son here because we are both on health conscious diets, and we were very impressed by their choices. My son had the Miso Ginger Shrimp Bowl and it was low cal, low carb, low sugar, and very tasty. I had the Barbacoa Chicken, which was a spicy chicken bowl with all kinds of good things in it. I would highly recommend eating here on a break from shopping at Macy’s. It’s on the fourth floor.

We loved choosing from the fresh ingredients. Every ingredient was fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly. Great price for a quick and healthy meal.

I actually work on the same floor in Macy's and would not advise anyone to eat there. Sometimes there's a stench like rotten lettuce or something that comes from the store and they never clean the little juice dispenser they have. I use to love this place until I started smelling it. Also the manager could use a trainer course on how to treat guest. I was in my regular clothes eating with my friend before my shift and instead of asking politely to leave since the seating is just for guest she actually started bad mouthing me to another customer right next to me. Not knowing I'm actually an assistant manager in Macy's. Even if a customer is doing something that's not right it's important to always have great customer service. Which she did not.

Brandon my server provided excellent customer service and always has pleasant and energetic presence in your store, it makes a difference for return customers which I am and because of servers like Brandon, I will continue to patronize “just salad”

Went to the location in Macy's, which was very crowded. People were making things worse by claiming locations before ordering, but there was a big table that became communal so things worked out. A large variety of really nice salads as well as the option to build your own, but was a bit disappointed that there wasn't as wide an assortment of dressing options.

The 'Honey Chicken Crispy' salad and the 'Parm Crunch' salad, both with chicken, very heavy on the salt in their dressing and poor on their chicken content (only four small cubes of chicken in the Honey salad). Not worth ordering a salad with chicken.

The name says is all... :) ...but they do offer wraps, soups, and other items. Portions are pretty good sized... you might consider splitting a wrap. This location, unlike the Rockefeller Center location, has seating right inside the restaurant and is a nice place to people-watch in Macy's. We ate at about 11:30 AM and it got very busy after noon (on a weekday).

This is a takeout place offering a wide variety of salads. The food is very good, the portions are large, and service is quick and friendly.

We grabbed a quick lunch at this outlet which is inside Macy's. Lots of vegetarian options on the menu. And you can customize your own salad wrap too. They have a separate mixing and cutting board for vegetarians - so that's good. Portion sizes are huge - one salad and a small side is good for two people.

Great salad with all the trimmings for a great price if you are on the go and are sight seeing. Great and fresh food. They also have a hot bar and poke bar which looked good. We took our salad outside and it was just lovely and did not take away too much time from sight seeing.

We discovered this by accident whilst roaming round in Macy's. We'd been having pizza, fries and bagels all week so was so refreshing to have this salad. Unlike UK, once you've picked your salad contents, they are sliced, diced and mixed together then your favourite sauce/vinegerette added. As veggie I had Hudson valley salad plus ranch sauce - the server was absolutely great and outstanding service (was a Sunday and slow I'm assuming in comparison). Definitely wort going to just salad on your visit to NYC.

There are a few locations in New York, but if you're looking for the best service, food, quality, and convenience, try the location on the 4th floor of Macy's. Five-star service, five-star soup, and five-star salad. Perfect for health freaks and the average Joe alike. You can't not like this place. Always fresh and always reasonable. If I had three thumbs, I'd put all of them up. I guess I'll have to settle for two.

We came to eat a salad when we wanted to go to the toilet, which was only accessible to the staff! So it is a real shame and incomprehensible. If you give people the opportunity to eat, also provide toilets for your customers!

This was my first time at Just Salad and I later learned that there are numerous city locations. Hurrah for salad…..and also soups, smoothies, and wraps which are served at these locations. This is on the 4th floor of Macy's. There was a big line at lunch time but it moved quickly. The very pleasant manager on duty was at the line and writing down orders on the order slips to move things along - great idea. there is a list of salad options - value salads, seasonal salads, health salads, and awesome salads, and make your own. I got a Tulum Getaway seasonal salad which had romaine lettuce, double avocado, roasted corn, black beans, jalapeños (I omitted), crispy tortilla strips, jicama, grape tomatoes and pumpkin seeds ($8.99) with small slice focaccia bread. This salad was with smoky poblano ranch dressing. Wow - what a terrific salad - great combo, very filling, all kinds of textures. You can get your salad in a bowl or on a wrap. AND they sell a reusable salad bowl for $1 - when you reuse it you get two free "essentials" toppings or one free cheese. Also waste disposal is sorted into trash and into plastic recyclables. Ingredients run toward organic and local. I got my salad chopped and my only reservation was that the salads are chopped on a cutting board which seems to stay in place for many salads. I am all for saving water and not doing excess washing but not sure if that cutting board had meat chopped on it…..or for people who might have food allergies (nuts, cheese, other)? So I would say stick with tossed which seems to go in it's own separate bowl. This company has a great mission statement. There was a drink special for June - a Bai5 drink for $1. Also they have an app for getting discount coupons and offers. JS is committed to affordable, local, organic, and non-GMO options. A lot to love about this place and a great salad too!!!!!!

It may have been the day... Maybe the time... Maybe the shift of employees... But this was not the same restaurant I loved and reviewed 5-stars last year. When I arrived at around 5:30 there was, oddly enough, no one there save a few at the tables. There were about 5 employees, but only one working at making salad. They seemed very unhappy, and complained about wanting to go home when casually asked how they were. I know this is normal for most employees in the evening time, but this was different - they clearly meant it as they were sluggish in preparing our meals. Soon after I arrived with my family the dinner rush came crashing in - well over 30 people seemingly came out of nowhere and all in a sudden they picked up the pace. They were still complaining to customers when addressed, however. The salad was still very tasty, but they didn't have any soup. One employee even asked another what soup they had. They have lentil soup on the menu, but claim they haven't had it in over a week. They didn't seem the least bit concerned about this. Without the soup and quality service, I failed to enjoy my meal for the first time at Just Salad. I was quite disappointed, and truly hope this was a fluke. If you're not counting on perfect service or soup mentioned in their menu, then you'll still enjoy the salad as the great taste hasn't changed. Two-stars.

Hubby needed a smooth fix, so we found this Just Salad place on the 4th floor of Macy's on Herald Square. It was 3PM and they had a 1/2 off Happy Hour going on with the smoothies. Normally $5.49, the smoothie, Berry Wild for $2.99 with tax. It was very good and not overly sweet. There are seats available to enjoy the smoothies or salad - which also looked good.

After walking so many hours at Macys we choose to stop always at this place . Combines light and healthy food. The Pumpkin and chicken noodle soup were very tasty . Tried also the wraps and ceasar salad both good.

Loved this place even if the salad was almost too big. A good range of ingredients with ability to tweak to personal preferences. I would look out for this place when next in NYC

back in New York after 4 years and found Macy's had changed quite a bit. Used to eat down in the basement but not keen on the changes that have been made there, so was pleased to find Just Salad on the 4th floor. My wife has food allergies and they happily adjusted a salad to her needs, We both has a very nice salad for a reasonable price without having to interrupt our shopping too much.
