Super cool concept: just food is simply average. The sushis are good and fresh. The rest is greasy or fried or non appetizing. I would try once as a novelty but won’t return

Good sushi restaurant for an all you can eat menu. The staff is friendly and the service quick. Sushi is good but I found the choice not very diverse. Moreover, we only had 60 minutes to enjoy the all you can eat menu, which is a big negative.

So this was probably my 15th visit on. Sunday early afternoon, wasn’t too busy since it’s the Memorial Day weekend. Everything is so fresh and prices seem to have increased a $ here and there. Go check it out!

Very nice and amusing place to visit as a family with 2 teenagers. Welcoming host that brings you too your table. You get your explanation that everything goes via the tablet and then you're off. Ordering drinks goes fast, and it is brought to your table by a typical Japanese robot. The robot has a lot of kitschy music and really funny to see. Ordering food goes super smooth. Just pick on the tables, maximum of 4 items per order to keep eveythign fresh on your table. Then it is waiting till your orders will arrive one by one via the converyor belt. Goes fast and a a good speed to keep on eating. THe food itself was very good and qualitative sushi and fresh fish. If it wasn't our last day, we would have come back to eat again. It is on 5th avenue, one of the most iconic streets of the city, but still prices are very ok. You can choose between all you can eat or a la carte. We took a la carte and the total for a good diner was really acceptable.

Food is ordered via a tray and is delivered to the table. Absolutely top Asian quality. We were absolutely delighted!!! Wow! Great concept - top food.

Hubby discovered this amazing place! We used to eat at East Kaiten sushi. They closed permanently a few years ago. This Kaiten Zushi is a big place with big booths. Our first visit was dinner time. Mo was our waitress for the night, but here, waiters and waitresses work quite differently with their customers since they don’t take the food to the tables for customers. We saw a robot bringing drinks to the customers too. Soon, I’ll be seeing robots dining at one of the tables. Then robots will be feeding customers too ha! On our first visit, we had the ramen, fire roll, eel, salmon toro, avocado salad, shrimp, yellowtail, and more salmon toro and the Philadelphia roll, which was unique because they added cream cheese to the Philly roll. We thought the first visit was quite good. On our second visit, which was lunchtime, we had more salmon toro and my favorite, Anago nigiri, probably one of my best! I recommend Anago Nigiri and Salmon Toro if you're unsure what to order. We also had great hand rolls, spicy tuna, and eel avocado. We tried Ocean Roll on our second visit, and it was pretty good. They have all-you-can-eat sushi, but Anago is not one of them. We’ll try all-you-can-eat sushi someday, but we have to do it on a weekday for a reasonable price. All-you-can-eat is $50 on weekends, and on weekdays, it's $30+. To do “all-you-can-eat” from the menu, you must have all parties do the same. Otherwise, get the a la carte. We’re delighted at Kaiten Zushi! The place is big and in a great location. Highly recommended!

It was easy to walk in and have a seat with no wait at all. It was fun to eat at a conveyer belt sushi location, where you can order on a tablet, and you can see your food delivered fresh & straight to you. I really liked how the tablet notifies you of which food is approaching too. You can order as many as four items at a time, and whenever you buy a drink, a cute robot stops by your table to hand it to you. I'd be tempted to return just to see the robot again, but I'd rather try another place. This is because the food tasted okay, but just okay. I wasn't really amazed by the flavors like I have with other Asian restaurants, and the food options appeared limited compared to other experiences I've had. But, this could still be an exciting place to bring your friends or family. It may be hard for picky eaters to stay here though, as the only thing I found simple to eat was the french fries and donuts. I wouldn't come back, but this is a great spot for those who want to try different types of Asian food- especially sushi- in one sitting. The servers were also very attentive and kind, and I'm happy about that. Overall, it's a nice spot to hang out and try new things.

Is the fish the best quality?....No. Is the variety of food great?...It is decent. But it is fast, a great value for big eaters, and the conveyor belt is such a fun and novelty experience. My friend and I went for the all you can eat lunch special. The ordering on the tablet was super easy and the food came out promptly. I definitely ate more than I intended for worse and for better. If I was feeling really hungry and wanted food fast and for a good value, I would go back.

Our first time trying a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. This could be a buffet/individual plating order restaurant, We loved it! Staffs are pleasant. Serving time is quick. The concierge employee explains things well the difference between the buffet and individual ordering and did not rush us. The ordering, notification and assistance system thru the ipad is really helpful for a swift dining experience. Highly recommended, will dine again. See images for reference.

I’ve waited a year for this place to open. Trust me my visit did not disappoint at all. Was the first guest today 7/29/23, and it quickly got busy before noon. You order from a tablet at your table it’s very easy to place orders and see what you’ve ordered prior. The Gunkan, rolls, hand rolls are fresh and very tasty. I used to go to East conveyor belt sushi on 27th & 3rd Ave but they closed before the pandemic. Staff is friendly and on top of things, met the manager who was also nice and professional as I too in an the hospitality business. Spread the word conveyor belt sushi at its best. I can’t wait to go back and bring my family next time.
Bring The Whole Family
I’ve been here 5 times already, each time trying new items and ordering my favorites as well. Sunday afternoon is a great time to go, it’s not busy and the staff are very attentive. Spoke with the manager on numerous occasions and there will be new items coming soon. Will keep going back and with a full stomach, I’ve been 100% satisfied each and every time.
