This is a nice little place with a good selection of fresh food and packaged Japanese snacks and cooking staples. There is a little ramen counter which does nice tonkatsu and spicy miso ramen. The broth is not the tastiest, but it still hits the spot when you need a ramen hit.

This store has a variety of small shops including musubi, ramen and fresh fish vendor. All of the usual Japanese groceries are available and the store is packed with dry goods and fresh veggies. Wish I had one in our city.

The insider tip in New York... what a great Japanese place to go. Great food, everything freshly prepared. A dream . It deserves 5 points.

This place is near my office and I wish I knew it earlier. It is a small Japanese grocery store with lots of good grab-and-go options. The chirashi I got (pictured) was delicious. There is also a ramen bar for both eat-in and takeout.

Do you love Japanese food and snack items? Look no further! Since visiting Japan, we've had a difficult time finding the same Japanese goods in Canada that we had tried over there. Then, on a visit to New York, we come across Katagiri: an all-in-one Japanese/Asian grocery store. It had SO MANY items we had not seen in three years. Craft Boss Coffee, Melon Pan, Endless Ramen, Japanese Chocolate that is written in Kanji so I genuinely do not know how to pronounce it. P.S. They also make their very own Onigiri (we saw them making it in the morning as we passed by before they were even open yet) and it's absolutely delicious.
Terrific
You can feel as in Japan. Everything is good and not expensive. Cibo buono, prodotti eccezionali e prezzi ottimi. Consigliatissimo !
